the Hebrews to stay with Jesus.

The Book of Hebrews
is really unapologetic

for the supremacy
of Christ, but it says,

impossible to please him:

So it's saying
before you come to God,

you got to believe
that there's somebody

on the other end of your prayer,

has been orchestrated by some.

Well, it is the

violent swings in theology

as to who and what
the Holy Spirit is,

from the Word of God is that

when you are dealing
with the Holy Spirit,

you are dealing with verily God.

And God with a personality,
and God who can get offended,

and God who can be grieved,
and God who has a personality.

In the Sunday

Everybody had
everything in common.

The church was
trying to support itself,

new people were coming
in, they were trying to share

so that the haves and the
have not's shared equally.

Land was going to be sold
for the support of the church.

Ananias and his wife
concocted a scheme to say

So the husband
now here is caught

and Peter says, "Why

Some hours later,
his wife comes in.

And she is not
aware of what is going on.

And the same
question is put to her.

Well, that hatched up the story.

So she gave the same
answer. And she also expired.

Now, the key to the linkage here

is at the end of
verse 4 because Peter says,

"You have not lied
to men, but to God."

So the equation is made
that the Holy Spirit is God.

When you lie to the Holy Spirit,

But you had a brand new

the 1800s for just a moment.

A name that you may not
know, Dudley M. Canright

was a great preacher
in the Adventist Church.

In fact, Dudley M. Canright

the church has ever had.

He had the ability that few had

to argue people into the church.

He was such a powerful messenger

for the Lord,

he would provoke
debates with other preachers

and usually when
you're debating a person,

you're not going
to bring them to God,

you just aggravate
them, they aggravate you.

But he would
actually debate people

into the Adventist Church.

People would
come to his meetings

just to taunt him and tease him

and interrupt his sermons
and by the end of the message,

they were giving
their hearts to the Lord.

He was an unusually
anointed preacher for God.

Canright hit on the idea,

and hear the
sermons and people say,

"Come back to
Lord. You can come."

He said, "No, the
Holy Spirit is gone.

I'm lost, I'm
lost." And he died.

He never came back to the church

and people would beg
him and pleaded but he said,

"No, I've gone too far."

Now, no one said that about him.

He said that about himself.

"I don't have the
Holy Spirit any more.

that was true or not,
