very vivid in my mind

child two years ago,

and we focused on the birth,

we had breathing
classes and we had our bag ready

and the
contractions started to come...

it was a very
nervous and yet exciting time

and then, finally, the baby came

and then, suddenly, it came over
our sleep-deprived consciousness

that this baby needs continuous
and a protracted period

of non-stop care.

I remember the
first time someone told me

that this baby needs
feeding every two hours

and I told... I asked the

When a baby is
born, it's not as though

you just take the baby
and put it on the shelf

No, that baby requires
continuous care and nutrition

after we come to Jesus,

feeding on the nutrition

that they are failing to thrive

Now, when we go
to the Courtyard,

through Bible Study,

"How's my prayer life?

Have I been spending
time feeding on the Word?

And have I been sharing the love

And what you'll find is
that, one of those areas

Now, all of us know that
if we do not eat regularly...

there is a dramatic decrease
or cessation of physical life,

when Jesus brings us
into the world spiritually

Now, when the Israelites
were in the wilderness...

because during their 40 years

every day during that
journey in their experience

from bondage to liberation

was sustained by
heaven's bread...

heaven's manna
that fell on the earth.

It's interesting because
manna literally in the Hebrew

means, "What is it?"

That's because the Israelites...
the first day they got manna,

they went outside and they
saw this stuff on the ground

and they said, "What is it?"

And evidently that name stuck

because manna
literally means, "What is it?"

And it was heaven's
bread that came from heaven

Now, remember what the Bible
says in Deuteronomy chapter 8,

manna was a living illustration

of their dependency
not just on physical food

Now, the way that manna
fell is very significant

bread from heaven...

in Psalm chapter 78 verse
24, "Food from heaven... "

"It's the bread of angels... "

and the color of it
according to Exodus was white

and it tasted like
wafers made with honey.

Now, when I get to heaven,

what manna is like

and this provided all of
the nutrition for the Israelites

from bondage to heavenly Canaan

God will sustain us

talking about physical food
