Not only that most of 00:23:36.95\00:23:41.01 you are used to having a cigarette with your 00:23:41.04\00:23:42.86 coffee ha or coke or whatever it is your drug 00:23:42.89\00:23:47.98 that you have it with there together. 00:23:48.01\00:23:50.15 And when but very few people smoke with the 00:23:51.78\00:23:54.48 drinking fruit juice. Did you notice that? 00:23:54.51\00:23:57.80 One lady said to me, doctor do you mind if 00:23:58.88\00:24:03.18 I drink my fruit juice with straw? 00:24:03.21\00:24:04.83 She says that something about sucking on that 00:24:09.71\00:24:11.83 straw. Now I want to explain 00:26:31.28\00:26:35.20 to you little bit about the coffee. 00:26:35.23\00:26:36.48 I heard some complaining about that; 00:26:36.51\00:26:41.15 In fact there is one stop smoking clinic I was 00:26:44.42\00:26:47.01 putting on and I started talking about caffeine 00:26:47.04\00:26:50.19 and I saw a fellow sliding lower and lower 00:26:50.22\00:26:53.47 and lower in his seat. And I said is there a 00:26:53.50\00:26:56.62 problem sir? He said indeed there is a very 00:26:56.65\00:27:00.11 serious problem. He says I can't get out of 00:27:00.47\00:27:03.40 bed without my cup of coffee in the morning. 00:27:03.43\00:27:05.64 I said you mean that you have your wife get up 00:27:06.82\00:27:10.73 and make coffee. So, you can get up, no, no, 00:27:10.76\00:27:13.68 no he said. I put it in a thermos jug on my 00:27:13.71\00:27:18.59 bedside stand and then I get two cups of coffee 00:27:18.62\00:27:22.87 and then I can get out of bed. 00:27:23.46\00:27:26.22 So, when you start talking about caffeine you are 00:27:29.14\00:27:33.98 really start, stop preaching 00:27:34.01\00:27:36.11 and begin a medallion. 00:27:36.14\00:27:37.17 Well, lets take a look at it shall we do that? 00:27:38.85\00:27:40.32 Caffeine, and what's the favorite 00:27:50.82\00:27:53.65 drug you put with it? 00:27:53.68\00:27:54.71 Now what effect is caffeine have on the 00:28:02.65\00:28:04.53 central nervous system? Is a stimulant, 00:28:04.56\00:28:07.80 is a stimulant I suppose we might call it an upper. 00:28:08.65\00:28:10.95 Feel little tired what do you want? 00:28:12.26\00:28:13.52 I want a cup of coffee right? 00:28:15.01\00:28:16.23 Then you feel little better. 00:28:17.09\00:28:19.32 Alright, Nicotine in small doses I think is also a 00:28:21.23\00:28:24.30 stimulant. But, in the doses most of you 00:28:24.33\00:28:26.97 people have been taking it, 00:28:27.00\00:28:28.30 it's a tranquilizer it's a depressant. 00:28:30.51\00:28:33.41 Now we know from pharmacology that 00:28:34.07\00:28:35.66 if you take a stimulating drug and you will 00:28:35.69\00:28:38.57 combine it with a depressant drug, 00:28:38.60\00:28:41.10 that it will produce euphoria, we see that 00:28:42.42\00:28:45.49 even in a street drugs people who take 00:28:45.52\00:28:47.00 amphetamine, take a barbiturate along with it. 00:28:47.03\00:28:49.83 So, you know what euphoria is, 00:28:51.35\00:28:53.04 well, when you get up in the morning 00:28:55.86\00:28:56.95 how do you feel? Cup of coffee and then a 00:29:20.41\00:29:24.05 cigarette and then the euphoria sets in. 00:29:24.87\00:29:27.96 That means everything is going to be 00:29:28.38\00:29:30.42 hunky dory today. God is in his temple I think 00:29:30.70\00:29:34.73 his day is gonna fly. And then pretty soon it goes. 00:30:31.96\00:30:34.73 Okay nicotine, caffeine and do you ever notice 00:30:37.76\00:30:44.84 that the more you smoke, the more coffee you drink 00:30:44.87\00:30:46.81 is a general rule and they kind to go together, 00:30:46.84\00:30:49.66 moonlight and roses, love and marriage, 00:30:50.15\00:30:52.11 nicotine and caffeine. 00:30:52.14\00:30:53.27 So, I keep doing this you know I'm smoking little 00:30:56.40\00:30:58.78 extra, drinking little extra coffee. 00:30:58.81\00:31:01.55 I'm getting more and more irritable, 00:31:02.41\00:31:03.85 more and more nervous. But, I know how to get 00:31:04.85\00:31:06.91 rid of that. Have another cigarette, another 00:31:06.94\00:31:10.45 cup of coffee. I began to feel euphoria, till it 00:31:10.48\00:31:14.22 wears off and I get irritable, and I get 00:31:14.25\00:31:17.64 nervous and I have another one. 00:31:17.67\00:31:19.79 You see these drugs are actually illusionary drugs. 00:31:20.66\00:31:28.51 Do you know what I mean by illusion? 00:31:28.54\00:31:29.70 They make you feel good when you really feel bad. 00:31:31.19\00:31:36.94 Now you feel lousy right? You know a cigarette and 00:31:38.53\00:31:41.28 a cup of coffee will fix it. 00:31:41.57\00:31:42.60 But, your body would still feel lousy. 00:31:43.90\00:31:45.33 You just feel okay, because you don't know 00:31:46.86\00:31:48.21 what's going on. No, I'm serious. 00:31:48.24\00:31:50.94 I go out and I break my leg, will it hurt? 00:31:52.95\00:31:56.49 Hurt terrible, doctor comes along and gives 00:31:57.70\00:31:59.89 me big half grade of morphine you think the 00:31:59.92\00:32:01.75 leg will hurt anymore? No, because leg still 00:32:01.78\00:32:04.50 hurting? Yes, leg is hurting but I don't know that. 00:32:04.53\00:32:07.39 You see so you keep on going, more caffeine, 00:32:09.83\00:32:13.42 more nicotine, you are getting more nervous. 00:32:13.45\00:32:15.49 So, I come home I've been in the traffic and 00:32:16.54\00:32:18.60 traffic has been bad and I smoked lot of cigarettes 00:32:19.19\00:32:21.69 and I have lot of caffeine. At home, wife says honey 00:32:21.72\00:32:26.61 your dinner is ready. I say wait a minute, 00:32:26.64\00:32:28.79 wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute 00:32:29.48\00:32:31.64 I got to slow down little bit. Why don't you fix me 00:32:31.67\00:32:35.00 a couple of Martinis, so I put in 00:32:35.03\00:32:39.14 here another little drug. 00:32:39.17\00:32:40.51 What effect does alcohol have on 00:32:45.55\00:32:46.91 a central nervous system? It acts a depressant, 00:32:46.94\00:32:50.40 but so I don't get too depressed. 00:32:50.43\00:32:51.92 Have another cup of coffee. 00:32:52.43\00:32:53.46 And it will give me so more ying, ying ha, 00:32:55.09\00:32:56.73 make me more nervous. So, after well I'm having 00:32:58.25\00:33:01.85 some for lunch too because I'm nervous 00:33:02.58\00:33:04.65 by dinner time. Now, keep that up for a few 00:33:04.68\00:33:07.40 years, now I'm getting actually more nervous 00:33:07.43\00:33:09.20 and little more irritable, more drugs. 00:33:09.23\00:33:11.48 And finally one day the wife says to me, 00:33:12.25\00:33:13.94 honey I want you to go see the doctor. 00:33:13.97\00:33:16.07 I don't even see that doctor, listen even the 00:33:17.51\00:33:19.85 kids say what's happening to daddy? 00:33:19.88\00:33:21.12 He's so irritable and so nervous. 00:33:21.15\00:33:22.62 I think you better go see the doctor. 00:33:23.02\00:33:24.44 Well, now listen to me please go see the doctor. 00:33:25.24\00:33:29.07 And I'm on the way to work I think, well you 00:33:29.10\00:33:31.02 know even the people works it, how come you 00:33:31.05\00:33:32.54 show that's such a short fuse what's going 00:33:32.57\00:33:34.34 on with you? Maybe I should check in, 00:33:34.37\00:33:36.73 so I go in, check in with my friendly family 00:33:37.27\00:33:39.12 physician. And he says well your blood 00:33:39.15\00:33:41.50 pressure is up a little bit. 00:33:41.53\00:33:42.56 I wish you would cut down on your smoking. 00:33:45.39\00:33:47.67 Hopefully this physician he doesn't know that he 00:33:49.11\00:33:51.13 just gave me an impossible assignment. 00:33:51.16\00:33:53.82 No one ever cut down on their smoking and stayed 00:33:54.86\00:33:57.46 cut down for a prolonged period of time that had an 00:33:57.49\00:34:00.02 established smoking habit, are you listening 00:34:00.05\00:34:02.03 to me? It don't work have you tried that? 00:34:02.06\00:34:05.27 Did it work? No it don't, don't work. 00:34:06.56\00:34:09.46 Anyway before I leave the office, 00:34:09.92\00:34:12.98 I said doctor but my wife says I'm very nervous. 00:34:13.93\00:34:16.88 I wonder if you would give me a little, 00:34:18.51\00:34:21.64 and my friendly family physician not wanting 00:34:29.49\00:34:32.14 to offend me sets down and he writes a little 00:34:32.17\00:34:34.56 prescription Valium number 50, 10 mg one t.i.d. 00:34:34.59\00:34:41.76 and I leave saying isn't he a good doctor? 00:34:42.13\00:34:44.49 And what effect is this have on our central 00:34:46.02\00:34:47.34 nervous system? And so I don't get too 00:34:47.37\00:34:50.85 depressed, I have another cup of coffee. 00:34:50.88\00:34:53.01 To more and more wreck my nerves, 00:34:54.86\00:34:56.71 now if you think I'm joking, this is the great 00:34:59.56\00:35:02.60 American scene. And until very recently at 00:35:02.63\00:35:07.06 least this was the number one prescription 00:35:07.09\00:35:10.81 drug I think now Propranolol and one of 00:35:10.84\00:35:13.00 those beta-blockers may add the list. 00:35:13.03\00:35:14.71 But, this was the number one prescription 00:35:14.95\00:35:16.60 drug in America. Basically trying to 00:35:16.63\00:35:19.08 make sense out of what these cause appear, 00:35:19.11\00:35:22.24 but actually making it worse and you say 00:35:23.62\00:35:29.92 why would you doctor prescribes something 00:35:31.01\00:35:33.16 that will make it worse. Well, you have time to 00:35:33.19\00:35:36.75 share with me a couple of stories from my own 00:35:36.78\00:35:38.67 office, would you, are you trapped, will you 00:35:38.70\00:35:41.13 listen? Okay these are from my own office, 00:35:41.16\00:35:44.16 these are not parables these are actual facts. 00:35:44.51\00:35:47.07 I treat largely cancer patients, a mother came 00:35:48.20\00:35:50.56 in with her 18-year-old daughter was going to 00:35:50.59\00:35:53.12 Michigan State University. And she said to me 00:35:53.31\00:35:57.79 as I was give this mother her cancer check would 00:35:58.70\00:36:01.00 you talk to my daughter? She is in college, she is 00:36:01.03\00:36:04.26 not doing well and she is having 00:36:04.29\00:36:05.51 these terrible headaches. 00:36:05.54\00:36:06.57 Well, you know me I'm a soft touch. 00:36:09.52\00:36:11.13 And my nurse is shaking 00:36:12.16\00:36:13.19 her head no, and I said yes. 00:36:13.22\00:36:16.36 Because you see we try to keep things running 00:36:18.13\00:36:20.17 on time, believe or not some doctors do that, 00:36:20.20\00:36:22.42 30 minutes for the new patients, 10 minutes for 00:36:23.61\00:36:25.79 the return patients. And the nurse knew 00:36:25.82\00:36:30.12 that this was going to mess up the schedule. 00:36:30.15\00:36:32.66 But, I figured mother is here, daughter is here 00:36:33.85\00:36:37.13 let's take care of the patient. 00:36:37.44\00:36:38.83 So, mother and daughter come in and I find 00:36:38.86\00:36:41.03 out she says is this terrible headaches doctor, 00:36:41.06\00:36:42.75 I'm not doing well and in short order 00:36:42.78\00:36:45.20 I had little history, she gone after college 00:36:45.42\00:36:48.37 she really taking up smoking pretty good. 00:36:48.78\00:36:50.68 She joined a few alcohol parties, was getting just 00:36:51.21\00:36:53.85 a little touch in marijuana, now and then, 00:36:53.88\00:36:56.20 and her diet consistent largely of potato chips 00:36:57.22\00:37:00.31 occasional hamburger and she thought coke 00:37:00.34\00:37:04.09 was God's original beverage that He 00:37:04.12\00:37:05.73 provided for mankind. And I said to her, 00:37:05.76\00:37:10.60 honey there is no wonder you have headaches. 00:37:12.16\00:37:13.85 Let me put you on a good program. 00:37:16.30\00:37:17.89 And I kept seeing the nurse walking by as 00:37:19.41\00:37:21.44 if to kind of say, 'Doctor hurry it up, troops are 00:37:21.47\00:37:25.02 getting nervous'. But, I'm having fun, I mean 00:37:25.05\00:37:28.37 this beats treating cancer believe me. 00:37:28.40\00:37:30.21 You know, you got a young person, you could 00:37:31.04\00:37:32.76 perhaps get him on a right kind of program, 00:37:32.79\00:37:34.80 feel good about yourself... This is what medicine is 00:37:35.34\00:37:37.92 all about. I love it. I don't know what they said when they 00:38:41.21\00:38:43.82 left, but I suspect it was something like, "What 00:38:43.85\00:38:46.61 was he, some kind of our naturopath quack or what?" 00:38:46.64\00:38:49.30 Why does your doctor write prescriptions for 00:38:54.26\00:38:56.58 Valium?.. it keeps the troops happy, but it doesn't help 00:38:56.61\00:39:01.61 the situation. Okay, I'll share 00:39:01.64\00:39:04.42 another story with you. 00:39:04.45\00:39:05.48 Lady came to my office, she sat on my examining 00:39:05.97\00:39:08.46 table, eyes darting hither and thither. 00:39:08.49\00:39:10.98 I spoke quietly because I was afraid that if I would 00:39:11.79\00:39:14.21 make any noise she would scream and run 00:39:14.24\00:39:16.25 out. I mean she was that nervous. 00:39:16.28\00:39:18.19 She says, "Doctor, I'm afraid I got cancer." Well she 00:39:20.24\00:39:22.34 might should have had; she had all the lifestyle 00:39:22.37\00:39:24.79 that goes along with it. Smoking cigarettes, 00:39:24.82\00:39:27.12 alcohol, she drank a ton of caffeine and the like. 00:39:27.73\00:39:32.27 And I checked her over and I didn't find any cancer. 00:39:33.54\00:39:36.43 And I said, "I have good news for you". "Oh thank 00:39:37.12\00:39:39.19 you" she said. I said "I don't find any cancer, 00:39:39.22\00:39:41.53 but I said you are nervous wreck?" 00:39:42.08\00:39:44.72 She says, "I know but I shouldn't be." 00:39:45.37\00:39:46.97 I've already heard the story of the smoking, 00:39:48.54\00:39:50.11 the alcohol and caffeine. So, the next question 00:39:50.14\00:39:53.53 I asked her, I knew no one that nervous wasn't 00:39:53.56\00:39:56.71 on tranquilizers. I said, "What tranquilizers 00:39:56.74\00:40:01.04 are you taking?" She said, "Doctor, I'm not 00:40:01.07\00:40:03.78 sure which of these tablets are tranquilizers. 00:40:03.81\00:40:06.23 These are the pills I'm taking." 00:40:06.26\00:40:07.94 She opened her purse and she put actually 00:40:09.41\00:40:11.20 12 vials on my desk. Three of them were 00:40:11.23\00:40:16.64 major tranquilizers, and then she had things to 00:40:16.67\00:40:20.20 undo what the tranquilizers did. 00:40:20.23\00:40:23.08 She had things to wake her up in the morning 00:40:23.43\00:40:25.10 and things to put her to sleep at night. 00:40:25.13\00:40:27.38 She had stuff to move her bowels and stuff 00:40:27.59\00:40:29.66 to stop diarrhea. She had the waterfront 00:40:29.69\00:40:34.55 covered! And I said to her, 00:40:35.33\00:40:38.71 "Would you like to feel better?" 00:40:41.18\00:40:42.38 She said, "That's a foolish question doctor, 00:40:42.87\00:40:44.57 of course I would like to feel better." 00:40:44.60\00:40:46.16 I said, "Good, I have a prescription for you." 00:40:46.61\00:40:49.00 And she brightened. And I took out my 00:40:50.25\00:40:52.64 prescription pad and I wrote, 'number 1, 00:40:52.67\00:40:55.38 stop smoking.' She says, "Are you kidding?" 00:40:56.08\00:41:00.20 I said, "No." Number 2, 'stop drinking.' 00:41:01.60\00:41:05.66 She said, "I might be able to do that." 00:41:06.80\00:41:08.96 Number 3, 'stop your caffeine.' 00:41:10.32\00:41:14.78 She said, "No way!" And I said, 'Number 4, 00:41:15.30\00:41:21.99 'please leave all these pills with me.' 00:41:22.37\00:41:24.96 She said, "Those cost me a ton of money, 00:41:26.37\00:41:28.08 you think I'm gonna leave them here?" 00:41:28.11\00:41:29.34 I said, "I thought you said you want to feel better?" 00:41:30.00\00:41:31.56 "I do." she said. "But, it wouldn't work." 00:41:32.22\00:41:33.57 I said, "I guarantee it." She said, "Are you kidding?" 00:41:34.02\00:41:37.07 I said, "I'm not kidding." Well, after some give 00:41:37.36\00:41:40.54 and take, she finally said to me, "Well I suppose 00:41:40.57\00:41:44.37 I could try." Well, I was making little progress. 00:41:44.40\00:41:48.67 She left her pills, and I gave her appointment 00:41:50.53\00:41:55.07 in one month. I really didn't expect to see her 00:41:55.10\00:41:56.68 again. No way, she will go back to her 00:43:40.26\00:43:42.49 friendly family physician, who will sit down and 00:43:42.52\00:43:45.28 write 'Valium t.i.d.' sign his name; 00:43:45.31\00:43:50.32 "isn't he a good doctor?" 00:43:50.78\00:43:51.89 From my own office, these stories. Well, let's take a little 00:44:11.02\00:44:15.21 look at it first. Let's say this is our 00:44:15.24\00:44:17.63 alertness level okay, it's not quite straight, 00:44:17.66\00:44:20.24 but this is, this is a right away we like to 00:44:20.27\00:44:23.78 be during the day. When you get up in the 00:44:23.81\00:44:25.21 morning where are you up here, down here 00:44:25.24\00:44:27.24 or right on the line? Well we had a volunteer fire department 00:46:29.45\00:46:31.88 and a few things like that. Then interesting little 00:46:31.91\00:46:34.97 town, and that back in those days you 00:46:35.00\00:46:42.11 remember people getting all those electrical 00:46:42.14\00:46:43.55 appliances when I was a kid growing up 00:46:43.58\00:46:45.21 have you heard a mangles, you remember 00:46:45.24\00:46:46.67 what those word is, put your sheets in that, 00:46:46.70\00:46:49.46 they do your sheets, people are getting 00:46:50.00\00:46:52.17 rather then ice boxes and getting refrigerators 00:46:52.20\00:46:55.41 and our neighbor was getting all these things 00:46:56.05\00:46:57.69 and plugging them in, and fuses kept blowing. 00:46:57.72\00:46:59.72 And someone said, I will tell you what to do, 00:46:59.75\00:47:03.88 you know those are screw in type fuses, 00:47:06.94\00:47:08.70 take and put a penny behind the fuse and 00:47:09.06\00:47:10.98 screw it in and you won't have any trouble. 00:47:11.01\00:47:12.53 So, they did that. They stuck a penny behind the 00:47:14.14\00:47:15.97 fuse, they screwed it in, and voila!, everything 00:47:16.00\00:47:18.87 worked. You head for the coffee, you put the penny 00:48:32.31\00:48:35.29 behind the fuse and you screw it in right. 00:48:35.32\00:48:39.35 It's a little bit like the oil light on my car. 00:48:41.56\00:48:43.80 I got that crazy light and it comes on and it says, 00:48:45.45\00:48:47.56 oil, oil, oil, oil. I find that very annoying 00:48:47.59\00:48:52.39 so you know what I did, I just connected the wires, 00:48:53.09\00:48:56.10 dumb idea or smart idea? Dumb. 00:48:59.66\00:49:02.75 Now I have got you, listen carefully. 00:49:03.67\00:49:06.32 I believe is dumber to disconnect the fatigue 00:49:06.70\00:49:10.04 light on my body, then it is to disconnect the oil 00:49:10.07\00:49:13.83 light on my car because last time I checked they 00:49:13.86\00:49:18.54 were passing out bodies one to a person. 00:49:18.57\00:49:20.38 And when that one was shot there isn't any left. 00:49:21.47\00:49:23.69 But, as long as I can come up with enough 00:49:24.67\00:49:26.25 money I can find somebody that will sell 00:49:26.28\00:49:27.96 me a car you believe that? 00:49:27.99\00:49:29.07 So, I would suggest as dumber to disconnect 00:49:30.72\00:49:33.44 the fatigue light on your body then it is to 00:49:33.47\00:49:37.15 disconnect the oil light on your car because listen 00:49:37.18\00:49:40.13 carefully your body will breakdown eventually 00:49:40.16\00:49:43.57 and is weakest point just as your car will 00:49:43.60\00:49:46.29 breakdown in its weakest point without oil. 00:49:46.32\00:49:48.09 If you are not giving your body adequate sleep. 00:49:48.72\00:49:50.41 Now the reason that we think we are getting 00:49:53.08\00:49:54.49 away with it, is that our bodies are so fearfully 00:49:54.52\00:49:57.77 and wonderfully made that we can abuse 00:49:57.80\00:50:00.87 them and abuse them and they keep on going and 00:50:00.90\00:50:03.36 it isn't until way down the line that we find 00:50:03.39\00:50:06.04 we are deep in trouble. If my weakest point is 00:50:06.07\00:50:13.29 my brain and I keep don't get the adequate 00:50:13.32\00:50:16.34 rest I need, I keep pouring caffeine in and 00:50:16.37\00:50:19.64 my nervous breakdown. If you will see that sign, 00:50:19.67\00:50:22.21 I deserve it, I have it coming and no one can 00:50:22.43\00:50:24.11 deprive me from it. Did you know the 00:50:24.14\00:50:27.76 psychiatrist actually have a disease diagnosis 00:50:27.79\00:50:32.64 they call caffeinism. And it frequently takes 00:50:32.67\00:50:36.09 place irritability, inability to sleep, waking up 00:50:36.12\00:50:41.01 with funny times, nervousness, irritability, 00:50:41.04\00:50:44.70 brought on by what? I believe that it maybe associated 00:52:15.98\00:52:18.48 with prostate hypertrophy in men. 00:52:18.51\00:52:20.30 There are some suggestions that even 00:52:21.71\00:52:23.06 some types of cancer maybe associated with, 00:52:23.09\00:52:25.20 it's not a good drug. It's the commonest cause 00:52:25.66\00:52:28.68 of headache. Usually on the withdrawal 00:52:28.71\00:52:32.08 but it can also be on their eyes. 00:52:32.57\00:52:34.18 How many got headache here tonight? 00:52:35.45\00:52:36.51 Quite a few of you, yeah that could be a caffeine 00:52:37.74\00:52:40.04 withdrawal headache; you know how to get rid of it? 00:52:40.07\00:52:42.83 Stop your caffeine, I have had patients 00:52:44.42\00:52:46.51 who come to me because I do mostly head 00:52:46.54\00:52:48.25 and neck cancer they got these terrible headache 00:52:48.28\00:52:50.63 pain they think they may have a cancer. 00:52:50.66\00:52:52.37 First thing I do is take them off their caffeine. 00:52:52.40\00:52:54.40 90% or more never have a headache again. 00:52:54.79\00:52:56.85 There are other causes of headache, quite a few 00:52:58.16\00:52:59.95 of them, don't misunderstand me. 00:52:59.98\00:53:01.30 But, it's interesting to me that the day after 00:53:02.47\00:53:07.25 surgery everyone complaints of a big 00:53:07.28\00:53:09.53 headache you know what they think is due to, 00:53:09.56\00:53:11.22 the anesthetic. Do you know what it is due to? 00:53:11.81\00:53:13.85 We don't put a coffee in the IV's. 00:53:14.44\00:53:16.11 And you know what the first thing the patient 00:53:18.16\00:53:19.55 asks for when you tell him he can eat, I want 00:53:19.58\00:53:22.77 my coffee doctor because I'm addicted. 00:53:22.80\00:53:25.56 But, our drug companies are very clever; 00:53:25.59\00:53:27.63 they put the caffeine in the headache relieving 00:53:28.69\00:53:31.20 medicine. So, that works real good, it takes 00:53:31.23\00:53:34.84 away your headache, it sets you up for the next 00:53:34.87\00:53:37.28 headache. And it takes away that headache too. 00:53:37.31\00:53:40.46 And you know you can sell a lot of drugs that 00:53:41.32\00:53:42.71 way, Anacin, ABC's all those caffeine containing 00:53:42.74\00:53:48.23 compounds. Now let me ask the question, 00:53:50.00\00:53:53.65 I'm trying to make you feel better beyond off 00:53:54.46\00:53:56.05 that coffee for a little bit ha. Yeah, we talk a 00:53:56.08\00:53:59.86 little bit more about it later, but it's not a good 00:53:59.89\00:54:02.82 drug, I guarantee if you go to the FDA and try to 00:54:02.85\00:54:06.99 get approval for it, you couldn't do it today you 00:54:07.02\00:54:10.05 know that, but you know why? 00:54:10.08\00:54:11.98 It's everybody is addicted including the 00:54:12.01\00:54:15.16 people on the FDA right? So, they are not gonna do, 00:54:15.19\00:54:20.58 they are not gonna do away with caffeine, 00:54:20.61\00:54:22.69 they are gonna let you continue on your illusion 00:54:23.57\00:54:27.50 while you pull the fatigue like on your body. 00:54:28.61\00:54:33.22 The good news is those of you who are off your 00:54:34.89\00:54:36.85 coffee in three days your headaches will be gone. 00:54:36.88\00:54:39.64 And you will be awake. Now people will ask me, 00:54:40.63\00:54:43.76 I'm gonna get that question yet for you. 00:54:44.79\00:54:46.53 People ask me doctor how can you wake up 00:54:47.21\00:54:49.33 if you don't get your coffee.
