prepared for the day of battle,

but safety is of the Lord.

And so it's God has given
us as humans a part to do.

He always cooperates with us.

But we don't have the ability
to do these things on our own,

we need God's help.

And so it's this
cooperation of human effort

plus divine power
that is really brought out

like that whole concept

for a number of
reasons, but one thing is that,

that folks when
they practiced that,

they are all in the
hoarding mindset kind of thing

sustainable preparedness

is it's where we are able
to produce basic necessities

of life for an
ongoing period of time

as in growing your own food,
you know, having a reliable

water supply
that's going to work

even if you don't have
power from the power company.

And you know,
ability to heat your home--

things like that.

focusing on the
basic necessities of life,

that's what we do is to

focus on these
basic necessities of life.

Because, you know, I
think about Revelation 13:17,

that there's gonna come a time

when no man will be
able to buy or sell,

save he that has the
mark and so that brings

this whole concept of
basic necessities to my mind,

and so when I'm
talking to folks,

I say, what
would you do right now

if you could not buy or
sell a thing from this point on,

how would you fare?

And in today's society
that would be catastrophic,

absolutely catastrophic
for almost everyone.

And this seems like a really
new concept, but it's not.

This is the way that most people

live just a century ago.

The specialization of
labor has brought this

about in today's lifestyle
where everything is specialized

and folks are brilliant
in one particular thing

but they're fairly ignorant
about the other, you know,

just taking care of some of
their most basic necessities.

And so you say, you teach people

how to do some of
these basic sustainable

clearness as a benefit,
as we move into the crisis,

but of course we'll talk about
before we're done that there

comes a point in time where
we're gonna wholly rely on God.

And we just it's not a matter
of having a garden or food

or any of these things.

When we're at the
final moments of history,

we're just gonna be completely
dependent upon Jesus Himself.

are always going to
provide for our needs.

And do the things that God
has instructed us to, you know,

to live a lifestyle

simple and back to the land.

us spiritually and it's helpful.

let's get to the Bible.

Let's look at the whole context
here what Jesus is saying.

And when you study Matthew 24,
it's clear that Jesus describes

the destruction of
Jerusalem and events

surrounding that destruction,
and he parallels that

with events at
the end of the world.

Matthew 24 goes back and forth

between Jerusalem and the
end, Jerusalem and the end.

Now, let's just talk
about the context of this,

in the days of Jesus
and then we'll tie it in

with the parallel at
the end of the world.

What's going on here?

Well, we have Jesus
predicting of course

the downfall of Jerusalem and...

The destruction of Jerusalem.

Exactly, its destruction
which it happened in,

you know, stages, it didn't,
00:07:15.60\00:07:17.03
it wasn't
something that just boom,
00:07:17.07\00:07:19.03
all happened just like so,
but you had the Roman armies
00:07:19.07\00:07:22.94
approach under
Cestius I believe it was,
00:07:22.97\00:07:26.11
surrounded the city
for no apparent reason.
00:07:26.14\00:07:28.64
They pulled back, then
three and half years later
00:07:28.68\00:07:31.68
they come surround the city--
00:07:31.71\00:07:33.92
Under General Titus.

Under Titus, and
the siege that followed

was unimaginable
where words cannot describe.

Jerusalem was destroyed,
the temple was destroyed.

I think it was
something like a million Jews

had been taken
captive, a lot of people died.

And I think it's important
to realize that the reason

why God allowed his
own city to be destroyed

was because that was in 70
A.D and what happened prior
00:07:53.00\00:07:57.77
to 70 A.D, was
the Jewish leaders
00:07:57.81\00:08:00.61
had made a fateful
decision to put to death
00:08:00.64\00:08:04.78
Jesus who
ultimately was their Creator.
00:08:04.81\00:08:07.05
And they pressured
Pontius Pilate to issue it,
00:08:07.08\00:08:09.32
to give them over, to
give Jesus over to the mob
00:08:09.35\00:08:12.12
and so because
the Jewish leaders
00:08:12.15\00:08:14.46
really connected with Pilate,
who was representing the state,
00:08:14.49\00:08:18.03
he had the Jewish
church and the state combining,
00:08:18.06\00:08:20.43
to put to death their Creator.
00:08:20.46\00:08:22.86
It was because of
that event which happened
00:08:22.90\00:08:25.27
in the 30s that
then in the 70s, 70 A.D
00:08:25.30\00:08:29.34
that's when the Roman armies
came and destroyed Jerusalem.

And Jesus gave
His disciples the sign

that they were to get
out at a certain point.
00:08:35.54\00:08:38.78
And that was that first siege.
00:08:38.81\00:08:40.55
The first siege,
so when the first army

surrounded
Jerusalem, you mention that

history tells us that
for some mysterious reason,

they just backed out.

They planted their banners,
made their intentions known

that they were going to conquer
that city and then just left.

And that was the--
that was Pagan Roman.

Planted its banner
right outside Jerusalem.

Then they left and
before they came back,
00:09:02.34\00:09:06.54
the Christians saw the sign.

They realized this is a sign

and they got out and
fled to the mountains.

It's significant that
not a single Christian

died in that siege.

And you know, why?

It's because every single
one of them headed the sign,

and they did as
Jesus instructed them.

Exactly, they
followed the warning.

And the sooner they
did it, the easier it was.

If they left right
away, the Jewish armies

who were persecuting
them, the Jewish armies were out

chasing the Romans, if
they did as Jesus instructed

and right then they
would have a clear path

to Pella in the mountains.

That was a little
city that they went to.

So they fled to the mountains.

Now, again Matthew
24 deals with parallels

and Jesus said in
verse 15, He said,

"Who so read
let him understand."

That there is a
parallel, and the parallel
00:09:55.12\00:09:57.23
is it in the final
days, when religious leaders
00:09:57.26\00:10:01.76
around the world,
and the common people
00:10:01.80\00:10:04.67
because of their--
00:10:04.70\00:10:06.23
because of the
deception about Sunday,
00:10:06.27\00:10:09.00
and how important
they think Sunday is
00:10:09.04\00:10:11.61
to the health of the
planet, to coming back to God
00:10:11.64\00:10:14.41
and to families and everything
else that whole part of the--
00:10:14.44\00:10:18.55
big mark of the beast deception,
00:10:18.58\00:10:20.08
and then what
happens as the church
00:10:20.12\00:10:21.52
and the people pressured
the government to pass a law
00:10:21.55\00:10:25.92
which really is
going against the creator
00:10:25.95\00:10:29.22
just like the Jewish
people pressured Pilate to put
00:10:29.26\00:10:32.59
the Creator who was
in human form to death,
00:10:32.63\00:10:35.56
so and then the
Roman armies came,
00:10:35.60\00:10:38.10
the pagan Roman
army, so in the end times,
00:10:38.13\00:10:40.47
we have papal
Rome and the people
00:10:40.50\00:10:43.10
pressuring
government to pass a Sunday law
00:10:43.14\00:10:46.54
which really is a
law against the Creator
00:10:46.57\00:10:49.41
of heaven and earth.
00:10:49.44\00:10:51.11
And that is the-- is
one of the final signs
00:10:51.15\00:10:54.68
at the very end
that time is almost over.

And that the final judgments
of God are about to drop.

Right. Coming on the cities.

That's right, and it
doesn't make sense to me,

that if we, when we
get into the final crisis

of the history of the
world, that God will not be

especially
speaking to His people

about these kind of events.

That's right. He
wants us to be ready.

And He's always
given special revelation

and instruction to His
people during special crisis.

I just came back
just a few weeks ago

from a very large
gathering in San Antonio, Texas,

right next to the Alamo.
00:11:34.69\00:11:36.26
And it was a
general conference session
00:11:36.29\00:11:38.29
of about 65,000
Seventh-day Adventist
00:11:38.33\00:11:41.03
and it was amazing.
00:11:41.06\00:11:42.40
And one day I had lunch
with a Vietnamese Pastor
00:11:42.43\00:11:46.20
and this pastor, he said,
00:11:46.23\00:11:48.40
to a group of us that
he had, had four visions.
00:11:48.44\00:11:52.57
And that an angel
spoke to him specifically
00:11:52.61\00:11:55.44
and told him that
time is running out.
00:11:55.48\00:11:59.45
The time is running out.
00:11:59.48\00:12:00.95
And there's a scripture
00:12:00.98\00:12:03.42
in the Book of
Acts 2:17 that says,

"It will come to pass
in the last days, says God,
00:12:10.53\00:12:13.06
that I will pour out
My Spirit upon all flesh,
00:12:13.09\00:12:16.13
your sons and your
daughters shall prophesy,
00:12:16.16\00:12:18.00
your young men
shall see visions,
00:12:18.03\00:12:19.37
your old men
shall dream dreams."

And He talks about His
men servants and maid servants

that God will
pour out His Spirit,

and especially in the last days
this just makes perfect sense.

And when I think about
that pastor having that vision,

and I've heard other people
who have had special visions

in light of the
scripture giving us instruction

of what to do
and I think you have

a vision that was
given to another woman.

Way back in 1905.
00:12:43.63\00:12:46.03
1905 looking forward to the day,

when America
joins with the papacy,
00:12:48.43\00:12:52.43
violates the principle of
separation of church and state.
00:12:52.47\00:12:56.44
Plants its standard in America
just like the Roman armies
00:12:56.47\00:13:00.71
planted their standards,
and now we've got Papal Rome,
00:13:00.74\00:13:03.35
planting its standard
and Sunday is enforced by law
00:13:03.38\00:13:06.92
which is a denial of
the fourth commandment,

remember the
Sabbath day to keep it holy,
00:13:09.55\00:13:11.45
which is a denial of the law
00:13:11.49\00:13:14.36
of the Creator
of heaven and earth.

And with Jerusalem

--in Jerusalem's case that
resulted in disaster, disaster.

And in the end times when
that finally happens again,

kind of judgments to fall.

where that was
exactly what was revealed.

and in the Night season there
is an immense ball of fire,

heaven and settled in Nashville.

There were flames going
out like arrows from that ball,

houses were being consumed,
00:13:45.09\00:13:46.86
houses were
tottering and falling.

Some of our people
were standing there.

It is just as we expected
they said, we expected this.

Others were bringing
their hands and agony

and crying unto God for mercy.

You knew it they said,
you knew that this was coming

and never said
a word to warn us.

They seemed as though
they would almost tear them

to pieces to think that
they had never told them

or given them
any warning at all.

And you know, when I read that,

I just think we
have to read that

to the folks that
are watching this.

and people that--

what Bible Prophecy says,

beast, and the judgments

that are to follow,
there's the seven last plagues

described in
Revelation 16 that fall on those

who get the mark of the beast.

We have to warn
people, we have to tell people

what's coming and point
them to the Bible and urge them

to come to Jesus now
before it's too late.

And she mentioned
Nashville, but that's not just

specifically that that's
the only place where these

kinds of things are
going to be happening.

You know, this is I believe that

when national apostasy happens,

we're gonna see national
ruin, not just Nashville,

about a million of them,
and they were two million

they went into the wilderness

and they were
there for 40 years.

And they really
didn't have water,

and they didn't have
food, but God protected

and gave them food and
water during that time.

We live in the country
and there's gonna time come
