rather than in the countryside.

Jesus' ministry to people,

went to the cities,

He went to where people were.

We need to
follow Christ's methods

of reaching those people,

you know, when He came
over the brow of that hill.

And as He was
making that triumphal march

towards Jerusalem, He stopped.

And that's what we
need to do as well.

of a mighty movement,

that God loves the cities.

He doesn't love everything
that goes on in the cities.

But God loves the cities
and the promise that He made,

an everlasting love.

And with loving
chords, I've drawn you,

that's important.

You know, God loves that
person who is working in a shop,

in New York City,
or in some large city,

in America, or in Canada.

People who have no hope,
people who feel alienated,

even from the society,

God's got a
great message for them.

is that He loves them.

And we praise God for that.

We had the churches
in that city involved

and doing things for Christ.

So we feel that
every city in our division

needs to be
approached in some major way.

to think very much

other cities as well

The big question that

is why New York?

Why are we starting there?
Why the kickoff in New York?

strategically important?

right place to begin?

capital of the world.

The Lord has been seeking to try

wonderful things are happening

Adventist members,

activities in New York.

But God wants to explode
that into something phenomenal.

In fact, it was

that New York was to be a symbol

as to how the rest of
the world should be worked.

Now, in many ways, it
can be a symbol already,

but I think the Lord

wants us to do something

in a
comprehensive, practical way

that ties in everything

avenue of approach

It's been mentioned
as an important place.

It's also the Big
Apple, it will turn heads,

people may get
energized by seeing that.

But as far as the
rest of the world goes,

how does New York
fit into the picture

as far as a strategy

for reaching the whole
planet, for other urban centers?

How does it spill from New York
