why I need to be afraid, I
say to them, I'm in a storm, but

Jesus is in the boat with me.

He is the author and
the finisher of our faith.

He has not become impotent
in these closing hours of our

history.

And all the demons in hell know
that they cannot defeat him.

That's why the devil himself
says he knows he has but a

And so the Apostle Paul
talks about God's rhythm.

There's a rhythm in scripture
that the Apostle Paul and all

of those Old Testament prophets
that have found victory in God,

they found God's rhythm.

The Apostle Paul highlights
God's rhythm in Romans chapter

8 and verse 31.

He says,

If God is for
us, what does it say?

Who can be against us?

And the answer is nobody.

I mean, God is
God all by himself.

God does not need an army.

You see, friends, there is a

And when we feel outnumbered
and helpless, lean on God's

Let's begin with our first
character that learned in the

moment of discomfort and
anxiety that God has a rhythm.

When God called Moses at 80
years old to stand against the

dynasty of Egypt, Moses
responded to God with these

words.
00:06:58.38\00:06:59.15
And I believe the reason
why Moses responded is because

Moses had a me
mirror, not a God mirror.
00:07:02.35\00:07:06.05
And he said in Exodus chapter 3
and verse 11, But Moses said to

God, who am I that I should
go to Pharaoh and that I should

bring the
children of Israel out.

Moses had a problem
that many of us have today.

Somehow we believe that it
is us that is the formula for
00:07:24.71\00:07:29.01
victory.

all by himself.

But God calls us.

This is amazing about God.

He calls us.

He wins the battle and he
gives us the credit for simply

through the reading of God's

powerful than any reasoning, any

intellectuality, any philosophy.

God said to Moses, you don't
need to try to write a script

to stand before Pharaoh.

Let the great I Am

The problem with the
church is not God's message.

So if you think that Pharaoh is
more powerful than God, you're

But God's never in trouble.

the Pharaohs in your life.

And God brought the children
of Israel out of Egypt with a

mighty hand.

He did it for them and
he'll do it for us today.

If he did it for his church
thousands of years ago, he can

Moses stood firmly because
he learned that God is the only

He finally got into God's
rhythm and realized that every

gives the faithful assurance to

But Moses is not the only one.

Let's ask a young man
by the name of Joshua.

He was the young
deacon in the church.

He was so upset by the
way people looked at him.

He said Lord I'm
afraid of their faces.

I think that was Jeremiah.

But Joshua was another man.

Joshua, God had to remind
him over and over that when he

began to count the army against
him, he began to fade in the

area of courage because
Joshua's powerless he thought

equals God's powerlessness.

But our powerlessness does
not equals God's powerlessness.

but God is always powerful.
