00:01 The hour is urgent, as darkness is dispelled by the light of
00:07 God's word. 00:08 A new day begins. 00:10 Jesus, the light of the world is shining. 00:13 Prepare your hearts to proclaim the final cry. 00:17 This is 3ABN Summer Camp Meeting. 00:24 Good morning, friends, and welcome to 3ABN Summer Camp 00:27 Meeting. 00:28 Good morning. 00:30 Now, if you're in another part of the world where it's night, 00:32 excuse us, it's a beautiful day here. 00:35 We just had some showers of blessings. 00:38 And oh, that today they might fall. 00:42 We thank you for taking the time. 00:44 If you have not joined us for the prior messages, you can go 00:47 to 3ABN Plus and catch up on those messages that have been 00:51 already preached. 00:53 But this morning, we're asking for the Lord to bless, to 00:57 strengthen the messenger for this hour, to give wisdom and 01:00 understanding. 01:04 come to our camp meeting. 01:06 Amen? 01:07 Has it been a blessing? 01:09 Surely has. 01:13 Lord's blessing to be with us. 01:15 After the prayer, I'll sing a song and then we'll go to God's 01:19 word. 01:19 Let's pray together. 01:22 Loving Father, gracious God in heaven, we thank you, Lord, for 01:27 the early and latter rain. 01:31 We pray that your presence and power will be with us. 01:36 And we know, Lord, that you said little is much when God is 01:42 in it. 01:43 And so we ask you to lead us and guide us this morning to 01:46 send your Spirit, Lord, into this place and do what only you 01:51 can accomplish. 01:53 So now, Father, we commit ourselves to you. 01:55 We submit ourselves to you. 01:58 And we thank you. 02:00 In Jesus' name. 02:02 Amen. 02:11 Shall we gather at the river Where bright angels' feet have 02:23 trod With its crystal tide forever, Flowing by the throne 02:35 of God. 02:39 Yes, we'll gather at the river, The beautiful, the beautiful 02:49 river, Together with the saints at the river, That flows by the 03:02 throne of God. 03:05 Looking forward to that day. 03:10 Soon we'll reach that shining river, Soon our pilgrimage will 03:21 cease. 03:23 Soon our happy hearts will quiver With a melodious peace. 03:37 Yes, we'll gather at the river, The beautiful, the beautiful 03:47 river, Together with the saints at the river, That flows by the 04:00 throne of God. 04:05 Yes, we'll gather at that river, The beautiful, the 04:14 beautiful river, Together with the saints at the river, That 04:26 flows by the throne of God. 04:38 That flows by the throne of God. 04:48 Amen. 05:01 There's been a little change in the speaker for this morning. 05:06 And we just want to be candid with you. 05:08 We want to keep Shelley Quinn in our prayers. 05:14 So, let's just pray right now. 05:19 Loving Father in heaven, as we come to you in Jesus' holy, 05:22 precious name. 05:24 Lord, we come knowing that your strength is perfect when our 05:30 strength is gone. 05:32 We ask, precious Savior, now that as we commit to this 05:35 message, that we will know that your presence and power is with 05:40 us. 05:43 That you will tend to her as the great physician. 05:46 And you'll bring to her the strength and healing she needs. 05:50 And we ask this in Jesus' holy and precious name we pray. 05:55 Amen. 05:58 The message is entitled, The Impregnable Church. 06:01 The Impregnable Church. 06:04 If you have your Bibles, go with me to the book of Matthew, 06:06 chapter 16. 06:07 And we're going to look together at verse 18. 06:10 Matthew, chapter 16, and we're going to look together at verse 06:14 18. 06:16 You know, so many people today think the church is in trouble. 06:19 I say the church is not in trouble. 06:21 The people in the church are in trouble. 06:24 God did not build a church out of cookie crumbles. 06:29 He did not build a church out of plywood. 06:32 Matthew, chapter 16, verse 18, reads as follows. 06:36 Jesus is speaking to Peter. 06:39 And he says, And I say unto thee, Thou art Peter. 06:44 And upon this rock I will build my church. 06:47 And the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 06:49 So I'm going to begin by saying today, God's church is going 06:53 through. 06:53 What do you say? 06:54 Amen. 06:55 God's church is not going to fall. 06:57 But the challenges of the last days is simply this. 07:00 The challenges of these days has caused there to be two 07:05 types of Christians. 07:06 How many types did I say? 07:08 Two types. 07:09 Those that focus on crisis and those that focus on Christ. 07:15 If you keep your eye on the crisis, you'll always have 07:18 reasons to be concerned. 07:20 But if you keep your eyes on Christ, there will be no reason 07:24 to be concerned at all. 07:25 Because Jesus is able to carry the church that he built to its 07:31 final destination. 07:33 My wife and I fly quite a bit, and we know that once the 07:36 flight attendants say the door has been closed, they always 07:40 say, If your final destination is not... 07:45 This is a good time to get off the plane. 07:48 But when the doors are closed and the plane takes off, 07:50 nobody's getting off. 07:53 Nobody asks to get off. 07:54 And I want to say this point. 07:56 When the church is going through turbulence, the pilot 07:59 would say, The fasten your seatbelt sign has been ignited. 08:04 Please follow flight attendant rules and just stay seated. 08:08 Buckle your seatbelts. 08:09 Brethren, the church is going to go through turbulence. 08:12 But don't get off the plane. 08:15 I mean, isn't it ridiculous to ask the flight attendant, You 08:18 know, I heard that there's a turbulence coming. 08:19 Could you let me out? 08:22 No, brethren. 08:27 down. 08:28 And then make sure that you're not distracted. 08:30 Put away your tray tables. 08:32 Return your seat in the upright and locked position. 08:34 Store away all the things. 08:35 Put away the large electronic devices. 08:37 You could tell I fly too much. 08:40 But we have to make sure that when we are on our way and 08:43 turbulence hits, that we are buckled in because Jesus can 08:47 carry us through. 08:48 So today the security of the church is not dependent on our 08:52 problem solving proficiency, but on the providences of God. 08:57 When the Lord built the church, Jesus made sure that the 09:01 foundation was going to be solid. 09:04 And He is the foundation of His church. 09:07 When we think about it, David the Psalmist makes it so clear 09:10 in Psalm 8, verse 3 and 4, he talks about the ability of God 09:15 to preserve. 09:19 each other, if the Lord can keep all the stars stable from 09:23 generation to generation, if we can trace ourselves back 09:26 thousands of years by simply looking at the position of the 09:29 planets, is God able to preserve His church? 09:33 David the Psalmist says in Psalm 8, verse 3 and 4, When I 09:35 consider your heavens, the works of your fingers, the moon 09:39 and the stars which you have ordained, I love this part, 09:43 what is man that you are mindful of him and the son of 09:47 man that you visit him? 09:50 Praise God. 09:51 If God can keep billions of galaxies from crashing into 09:55 each other, God can maintain the veracity and the integrity 10:01 of His church. 10:01 Amen somebody. 10:03 So the Lord is making it very clear to us in Jeremiah 32 and 10:06 verse 27, nothing difficult for God. 10:09 The only way that we can think of things difficult for God is 10:12 if we think, and I say this with total respect because I'm 10:15 a pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, we have 10:18 administrators and we have leaders, but the security of 10:21 the church is not based on our administrators and our leaders, 10:24 it is based on the one who built the church. 10:27 Jeremiah 32 and verse 27, Behold, I am the Lord, the God 10:30 of all flesh. 10:33 Is there anything hard for me? 10:35 And what is your answer? 10:37 Nothing hard for us. 10:39 So God does not need our assistance to keep His church 10:43 secure. 10:44 You know, flight attendants never ask me to help them when 10:46 the plane goes into difficulty. 10:48 Did you say sir? 10:50 What did they say? 10:53 Remain seated. 10:54 Brethren, when the church is going through difficulty, let's 10:56 say it together, remain seated. 10:58 Why? 11:01 and leave. 11:03 Am I right, Beverly and Leon? 11:05 That's why the folk here at 3AB and they come real early. 11:07 They sit on the front row so nobody can take their seat. 11:10 Brethren, the Lord say, remain seated. 11:14 This ship is going to arrive into port safely. 11:18 But we live in a generation where Satan has hired unstable 11:22 minds to attack God's church. 11:25 And they try to paint God's church as the most insecure, 11:29 confused and unstable place on earth. 11:32 Have you watched YouTube at all? 11:34 Have you heard the controversies flying? 11:36 There's a new movement now. 11:38 Somebody said, they're starting a new church. 11:41 I wish I could make this up, but it's not. 11:43 Somebody said, I'm starting a new Adventist church with no 11:46 Ellen White. 11:48 We don't need her. 11:49 Now let me make a point. 11:50 We don't need Ellen White to be saved. 11:52 But God has blessed this church with her writings. 11:55 Amen. 11:56 There are those now that cannot overcome sin by the grace of 11:59 God and the strength of the Holy Spirit. 12:00 So they want to start a church now where all you need is just 12:04 the cross. 12:07 People are trying to find creative ways of being saved 12:10 without tying into the power that God has made available to 12:15 us. 12:17 And so what the devil does nowadays, he creates conspiracy 12:21 theories. 12:22 Have you heard any of them lately? 12:24 You look on the YouTube and you see this conference leader and 12:27 that conference leader fighting one against the other. 12:30 And I'm convinced that the devil knows that this is God's 12:32 remnant message. 12:36 consistently is the Seventh-day Adventist Church. 12:40 They're not talking about the Baptists and the Catholics and 12:42 the Pentecostals. 12:43 It's us all the time. 12:45 And they're trying to find ways of getting us to be confused. 12:48 But this is not new. 12:50 In the days of Nehemiah, they tried to do the very same thing 12:53 to Nehemiah. 12:55 In Nehemiah 4 and verse 8, the Bible talked about how the 12:59 enemies of God's church worked. 13:01 In Nehemiah's work it says, And all of them conspired together 13:07 to come and attack Jerusalem and create confusion. 13:10 Create what? 13:11 Confusion. 13:12 Let me say something. 13:14 Don't listen to the talking heads on YouTube unless they 13:18 all are from 3ABN. 13:21 I just want to put that together in there. 13:23 And make sure they are on the plain, thus saith the Lord. 13:27 But there's a confusion that's taking the church over. 13:31 People looking at the confusion rather than the Christ are 13:35 thinking of ways, Well, how am I going to be saved if I stay 13:38 in that church or that church? 13:40 Brethren, let's say it together. 13:43 Remain seated. 13:44 Buckle your seat belts. 13:45 It's going to get rough before the turbulence is over. 13:49 But when we land, I say the Lord is going to say, Lift up 13:53 your heads, O ye gates, And be lifted up the everlasting 13:56 doors, And the King of glory shall come in. 13:58 And we will be in his tail. 14:01 He's going to bring us in. 14:03 But there are those nowadays. 14:04 I was recently, somebody sent me an email. 14:07 And for whatever reason, You ever get emails and things that 14:09 are connected to your email have nothing to do with what 14:11 you're looking for? 14:13 So I had an email come to me and there was a little click in 14:15 the top right. 14:17 And it had a little video of Chicken Little. 14:20 You remember Chicken Little? 14:22 And I clicked on Chicken Little just to, Why do you click on 14:26 these things? 14:27 And the video started rolling. 14:29 And I remember, what did Chicken Little, What would he 14:32 say? 14:32 The sky is falling. 14:34 The sky is falling. 14:35 And you see all the other animals running in all 14:39 different directions until somebody says, Who said the sky 14:43 is falling? 14:44 Nobody even questioned all the confusion. 14:48 And so Chicken Little's father said, What do you mean the sky 14:50 is falling? 14:55 on my head. 14:57 It was an acorn. 14:59 Some people are turning an acorn into the church is 15:03 falling. 15:03 Come on. 15:05 The church is not falling. 15:06 God is in charge of His church. 15:08 But if you spend more time on social media than you spend on 15:12 your Bible, it'll look confusion. 15:15 If you spend time on that device that is continuing to 15:18 pull your brain out rather than insert God's word in, it's 15:22 going to look confusing. 15:23 The sole reason that the church is going to succeed, let's go 15:26 to the first one, in 1 Corinthians chapter 3 and verse 15:29 11. 15:30 The first reason is Jesus is the foundation. 15:33 Say that with me. 15:34 Jesus is the foundation. 15:38 1 Corinthians chapter 3 and verse 11. 15:41 The church is built on Christ. 15:45 The Bible says in 1 Corinthians chapter 3 verse 11, For no 15:49 other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which 15:55 is who? 15:55 Which is Jesus Christ. 15:57 Come on, say amen, church. 15:59 When you get up in the morning and you pick your Bible up, 16:02 remember, God has given us responsible leaders and I 16:06 praise God for the administrative prowess of those 16:09 in leadership position in this church. 16:12 I've been in this church now going on 40 years as an 16:14 ordained pastor. 16:16 God did not call perfect individuals. 16:19 But Jesus is perfect. 16:21 And He's able to work through all of our inconsistencies. 16:24 He's able to bring His ship safely into port, not because 16:28 we are good sailors, but because He's the master of the 16:32 seas. 16:33 Not because we are good at finding where we are, but Jesus 16:36 can speak to the storms of our lives and say, Peace be still, 16:40 and can calm anything in this church. 16:43 Can I say what Ellen White says? 16:44 Can I say that here? 16:46 Ellen White says there's no need to doubt that the church 16:48 will not succeed. 16:49 God is able to bring the church safely into port. 16:53 And then she goes on and says, If matters need to be adjusted 16:56 even at the head of the work, God will set everything in 17:00 order. 17:00 Come on, say amen. 17:01 So we don't have to worry about our leaders. 17:03 Praise God for godly men like Elder Ted Wilson. 17:06 I know him personally. 17:08 Praise God for people like Pastor Mark Finley and all of 17:11 our conference leaders. 17:12 None of them is perfect, but God is the one working in us 17:16 and through us for His glory. 17:18 But the foundation is built on Christ. 17:21 The church is divinely constructed and humanly 17:26 inhabited. 17:28 Where's the problem? 17:29 The humans that are built inside. 17:31 The church is built perfectly, but it's filled with imperfect 17:35 people. 17:37 But the good news is, one day we're going to be just like 17:40 Jesus. 17:41 When I wake up sometimes and I'm not who I want to be, I 17:44 say, Lord, keep on working. 17:47 Keep on working. 17:48 Don't stop working. 17:51 When you realize that you have more time behind you than ahead 17:56 of you, there's some sobering that comes into play. 18:00 Am I telling the truth? 18:01 You start getting sober. 18:03 You start thinking of all the foolishness you did growing up. 18:06 And then you realize, Lord, I don't have time for that. 18:09 I need to get my life on the right path and stay there. 18:12 There are things that the Lord promises to do, but there are 18:16 things He will not do that He promises He gives you the 18:19 strength and the power to do for yourself. 18:21 You've got to pick up your Bible. 18:23 You've got to pray. 18:25 You've got to study. 18:26 The Lord is not going to do that. 18:28 When you commit to what God has called you to commit to, then 18:32 He'll give you the strength and He'll give you the guidance. 18:34 Thank you so much. 18:35 My wife probably called him and said, tell him to get a tissue. 18:41 When you commit to what God has called you to commit to, He 18:44 will do what He has promised. 18:49 When you read and you pray, the Lord will answer that prayer. 18:53 But don't get this confused. 18:56 The Lord adds people to the church. 18:57 Somebody once said, well, you know, do I have to go to 19:02 church? 19:03 That's another thing that really irritates me. 19:06 I want to be a part, I want to see the Super Bowl, but do I 19:09 have to go to the stadium? 19:13 Now let's eliminate the television part. 19:17 But you've got to be in the stadium. 19:18 What gets me is that people in Chicago, this is no lie, they 19:23 would go to football games in January. 19:27 They'll bring a snow shovel with them to shovel the snow, 19:32 to sit there for two hours with nine layers of clothes on, to 19:37 watch guys in tights kick a pigskin ball right back and 19:41 forth and kick a ball through a pole. 19:44 And folk won't come to churches where the seats are perfectly 19:47 comfortable. 19:48 The skies will just turn gray and they get nervous. 19:51 Brethren, we've got to have more dedication than sports 19:54 fans, because the church has been added for a particular 19:58 purpose. 20:02 church? 20:03 The Bible says in Acts 2 and verse 47, and the Lord added to 20:07 the church daily those who were being what? 20:11 Saved. 20:12 Why did God put a church together? 20:14 Why are you in the church? 20:15 Some of you need somebody else's iron to sharpen your 20:19 iron. 20:21 You won't know how justified you are and how much God's work 20:24 is being accomplished in you until you meet somebody with an 20:27 attitude just like yours. 20:33 Am I right? 20:37 So the Lord is saying, there's somebody coming to church this 20:40 morning that's going to test you. 20:42 We had a lady come to church one Sabbath morning. 20:44 Not here, I was pastoring in California and she walked on 20:47 the floor and she said, Pastor, I'm angry and don't try to get 20:49 me to stop being angry. 20:51 And she was serious. 20:53 I had another church where a member brought a baseball bat 20:55 to church and she threatened to beat up the head deacon. 21:00 Now I didn't pray for her to go home. 21:01 I said, Lord, get that evil spirit out of here. 21:03 And between Sabbath school and church, she went home and left 21:06 her bat and came back, but still, the head deacon kept his 21:10 eye on her because she still had the look on her face. 21:15 No, brethren, this is God's hospital. 21:19 Or is it his insane asylum? 21:22 Because sometimes we wonder ourselves whether or not we're 21:26 going to make it based on some of the challenges we bring to 21:29 our own brothers and sisters. 21:31 But the Lord added to the church daily those who were 21:33 being saved, but he did not just add them to the church. 21:36 Go to John 1 verse 12. 21:37 There's something else he did. 21:38 He didn't just add them to the church to a fellowship, but he 21:42 called them to do something else. 21:43 The Lord added them to the church, and when he added them, 21:48 something changed. 21:49 John 1 verse 12. 21:50 What happened? 21:52 When he added to the church, something changed. 21:54 The Bible says, But as many as received him, to them he gave 21:59 the right to become children of God to those who believe in his 22:03 name. 22:04 Let me make a very important point. 22:06 When you are added to the church by the work of the Holy 22:08 Spirit, you're not just a member, 22:14 I've got to get that because often times I've heard people 22:16 say, you know, I'm only human, I'm just a sinner. 22:20 Let me just, hopefully if you're watching, I want to kind 22:23 of correct this. 22:26 You are a sinner before Jesus comes into your life. 22:31 In that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 22:36 When you give your life to Christ, 22:43 you are under construction. 22:44 Help me out somebody. 22:46 Paul never said, greet the sinners in Rome. 22:50 He said, greet the saints in Rome. 22:53 But the word saint has been so distorted that we are afraid to 22:56 call ourselves saint. 22:57 I believe if we understand that we are saints under 23:00 construction, God is finishing the work he began in us, we'll 23:04 start acting like saints rather than like sinners that continue 23:09 to excuse the behavior 23:14 The Lord calls us saints, but you've got to receive him, not 23:17 just membership. 23:18 Too many people settle for membership. 23:20 You have to settle for being a child of God, knowing that what 23:24 he has started in you, he is able to complete. 23:28 And when we become children of God, Jesus begins a process 23:33 that reproduces his character in our lives. 23:37 More and more I'm convinced, and I just heard this on the 23:40 news and I'm not going to get into that at all, but there's a 23:46 statement that really caught my attention and it is this. 23:49 They said, we are concerned as to whether or not this person's 23:53 character is fit to occupy that office. 23:56 And let me just make it clear, I'm not talking about our 23:58 president. 23:59 I'm talking about something else in the Department of 24:01 Defense or different places. 24:02 They said, we're concerned about whether or not the 24:04 person's character 24:14 should be concerned about their character as children of God. 24:18 God has given us the beautiful privilege, and I believe one of 24:20 the reasons why more people don't come to Jesus is because 24:24 they see the character of those claiming to be children and 24:28 they say, I don't want to be in that family. 24:32 But if they see what? 24:35 Love, joy, peace, long -suffering, gentleness, 24:40 meekness, patience. 24:42 If they see in us that we are transforming, when you come 24:45 into somebody else's presence, they need to know that you are 24:50 part of a royal family. 24:52 We are a holy nation. 24:54 What kind of priesthood? 24:55 A royal priesthood. 24:57 So, God is saying, I've given you the power every day to live 25:01 as you are a royal priesthood. 25:03 But now there's another component to that. 25:05 We are children of God when? 25:08 Say it again, when? 25:10 1 John 3 verse 2, turn your Bibles there. 25:12 This is something we have to get in mind because a lot of 25:14 times people say, well, you know, I can't wait till I get 25:17 to heaven. 25:20 Not till you get to heaven. 25:22 And if you're children, when I was growing up in New York and 25:25 Brooklyn, they would say, see, we grew up in the day and age 25:29 where the neighbors would spank you. 25:30 Anybody know what I'm talking about? 25:32 Have you ever had that experience where they grab you 25:34 by your ear and take you home? 25:41 They say, you wait till your dad gets home. 25:43 It's like three strikes, you're out. 25:45 Nowadays, you can't touch anybody. 25:47 But they always say, did you know how your son was behaving? 25:53 They always connect the behavior to the parents. 25:56 And parents say, don't you embarrass me. 25:58 Have you heard that before? 26:00 Brethren, we should not embarrass God. 26:02 Amen. 26:04 We are his children now. 26:05 1 John 3 verse 2. 26:07 Now, he's still working, but here's the reality. 26:08 Beloved, what's the next word? 26:11 Now, we are children of God. 26:14 And it has not yet been revealed what we shall be. 26:17 Meaning, he's not finished yet. 26:19 But we know, those are words of confidence, that when he is 26:23 revealed, we shall be what? 26:25 Like him, for we shall see him as he is. 26:30 Praise God for that. 26:32 Now, why is that important? 26:33 Because there are angels right now. 26:35 You've got an angel. 26:38 That every now and then goes back to heaven and says, Lord, 26:40 are you sure you want to let them in here? 26:43 Because I saw something today. 26:47 I don't know, because, you know, what they did is worse 26:51 than what Lucifer did. 26:53 I don't know. 26:56 Remember that, there's a judgment coming. 26:58 They're writing stuff down. 26:59 You don't know what they said today. 27:02 And by the way, Lord, they haven't returned an honest 27:04 tithe in six months. 27:09 They all of a sudden stop breathing. 27:14 So the reason why God has to finish the work in us is 27:17 because he has to ensure that we are safe to occupy a sinless 27:24 environment. 27:26 So he said, I'm not done yet, but let's go to Philippians 1, 27:29 6. 27:29 You've got to stay in the process. 27:31 Say that with me, you have to do what? 27:32 Stay in the process. 27:34 Look at Philippians 1, verse 6. 27:35 And this is beautiful. 27:37 I'm giving you blessed assurance this morning. 27:39 Words of confidence. 27:40 Now we are children of God. 27:42 Look at Philippians 1, 6. 27:44 This is important. 27:45 If you remain in the process, Jesus will finish what he 27:49 started. 27:50 Philippians 1, 6. 27:53 What's the first two words? 27:55 Being what? 27:57 Confident of this very thing that he who has begun a good 28:04 work, in you, room by room, attitude by attitude, will 28:10 complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. 28:14 Isn't that good news? 28:16 So you might wake up one day and say, I don't even think 28:19 about smoking anymore, but I still can't stand, brother, so 28:22 and so. 28:27 Notice I'm looking at the trees. 28:30 Because some of us boast about what we have overcome, but we 28:34 don't talk about what we're still struggling with. 28:36 But let me say something. 28:38 God sees the struggle. 28:40 And if Jesus calls us to be his children, which he does, he's 28:45 able, over here, he's able to complete what he started. 28:47 What do you say? 28:49 Being confident. 28:51 He looks at our rough edges. 28:52 And sometimes I believe one of the reasons why the Lord allows 28:55 us to go through trial, as he did with Peter, sometimes we 28:59 need a satanic shake-up to wake up. 29:02 So sometimes the Lord commits us to the enemy, as Paul the 29:05 Apostle is speaking about those who just refuse to be people of 29:08 integrity in the Corinthian church. 29:10 He said, commit such a one to Satan that he may buffet him, 29:17 that in the end his flesh may be saved. 29:20 And as a pastor, I see sometimes church members going 29:22 through difficulty, and I say, Lord, I'm not going to touch 29:25 that. 29:27 I had a church member once, he knows who I'm talking about, I 29:30 had a church member once that was going through stuff, and I 29:33 saw it all over his face, and I said, what are you going 29:37 through? 29:38 I said, okay, well, I'm going to just pray that God will keep 29:40 you in the oven until he's done. 29:43 Am I right? 29:45 Some of us get in God's way while God is dealing with his 29:48 children. 29:50 Jesus didn't even get in Peter's way when the devil 29:52 wanted to sift him. 29:54 He didn't say, I'm not going to let him sift. 29:55 He said, I'm going to pray that when he's done, your faith will 29:58 not fail. 29:59 So the sifting is not to get you out. 30:02 The sifting is to get the sin out and to strengthen the Jesus 30:07 within. 30:09 But some people are not going to endure the sifting because 30:11 they want the sin to stay in and the sin is not going to 30:15 stay in. 30:18 it's just built on Jesus. 30:19 Say with me, it is what? 30:21 Built on Jesus. 30:22 Jesus is the foundation. 30:24 The second reason I know this is God's church, let's go to 30:27 Revelation chapter 14 verse 12. 30:29 The second reason is God's church honors his commandments. 30:35 Revelation 14 verse 12. 30:37 Here it is. 30:39 Revelation 14 verse 12. 30:40 And notice, here is the patience of the sinners. 30:45 That's right, brethren. 30:46 You got to get that text right. 30:48 Here is the patience of the saints. 30:51 Here are those who keep the commandments of God and the 30:54 faith of Jesus. 30:56 You know, if I were the devil, I would tell people revelation 30:58 is not able to be understood either because if he tells them 31:01 that revelation is easy to understand, they might find 31:05 this text and leaders might start teaching their church 31:08 that God's commandments can be kept by the strength and power 31:12 of his Holy Spirit. 31:14 Isn't that a beautiful passage? 31:16 Here are those who do what? 31:17 Keep the commandments of God. 31:19 Somebody told me, they said, you can't keep God's 31:22 commandments. 31:23 And I said to them, not even the devil believes that. 31:27 Because the devil is upset with those who keep the commandments 31:30 of God. 31:31 The devil is angry with the woman who does what? 31:34 Keep the commandments of God. 31:37 So I said to somebody, the devil doesn't even agree with 31:39 you on that. 31:41 And it shocked them into reality. 31:43 So people are telling you lies that the devil won't even tell 31:46 you. 31:48 God's commandments can be kept by the indwelling Christ. 31:52 When you think about the commandments of God, it is a 31:54 role of sanctification. 31:56 What did I just say? 31:58 Justification is the Lord brings you out of Egypt just as 32:02 you are by the blood of the lamb and by the broken body of 32:05 Jesus. 32:08 have to do anything to get out of Egypt. 32:10 Simply partake of the body of Jesus, the lamb, and cover 32:16 their homes with the blood of Christ. 32:18 That's a complete divine act. 32:21 You're not justified by anything you do. 32:23 We are saved by grace through faith. 32:25 It is the gift of God not of works that anyone should boast. 32:28 You cannot do anything to be justified. 32:31 You are covered by the blood of the lamb. 32:33 You are redeemed by his broken body. 32:37 But here's the thing that concerns me nowadays and I hear 32:39 this new thing starting to rise up in Adventism. 32:45 People asking questions like, do you know what salvation is? 32:48 You don't know what salvation is and the church doesn't know 32:50 what salvation is and people don't know whether or not 32:52 they're saved. 32:52 Brethren, no, wait a minute. 32:53 Wait a minute. 32:57 as to whether or not we know what salvation is. 33:00 A lot of these young whippersnappers, you don't know 33:01 what salvation is. 33:02 No, brethren, we know what salvation is. 33:04 But salvation is not just justification. 33:07 Salvation is not just coming out of Egypt. 33:10 Salvation is getting Egypt out of us. 33:14 That's why the Lord took 40 years. 33:17 Some of you have been in the church 30 years. 33:20 You've got 10 more years and you're completely out. 33:24 You know that, am I telling the truth? 33:26 So this is the part of the Gospel that's often left out. 33:28 Yes, we are justified by faith in Jesus Christ alone through 33:32 his grace. 33:34 But, John 17, 17, let's go there. 33:37 John 17, 17. 33:38 You know what it is. 33:40 You ready for it? 33:41 What's the first word? 33:43 Sanctify. 33:44 Sanctify them by your truth. 33:47 Your word is truth. 33:50 Now wait a minute. 33:52 That means if you exclude God's word from your life, you cannot 33:57 be sanctified. 33:59 If God's word is not being ingested, you're getting the 34:02 wrong vitamins. 34:04 If God's word is not being input into your life, into your 34:07 mind, my wife and I have just finished the book of Luke. 34:10 We're now starting on the book of John. 34:12 This is our second time through as a couple. 34:15 We were going to try to do it in a year. 34:16 It took us like seven years to get through the Bible. 34:19 You know why? 34:20 Because it was so good. 34:21 We did not want to run a path. 34:24 We did not want to rush past God's Thanksgiving dinner. 34:29 God's word is good. 34:30 Somebody help me out. 34:32 And sometimes, my wife has done this for me on several 34:35 occasions. 34:36 Sometimes I'd come home exhausted and she'd say, let's 34:39 read our Bible. 34:39 I said, honey, I'm just so tired. 34:42 Okay, let's just read a few passages. 34:45 And when God's word gets in there, all of a sudden it's 34:48 like my gas tank starts filling up. 34:50 And it's like maybe 1045 at night. 34:54 And she gets up really early in the morning. 34:56 All of a sudden she drops this holy gasoline in me. 34:59 And I want to read the rest of the passage. 35:02 And she says, I got to go to bed. 35:04 I got to wake up early in the morning. 35:05 I said, honey, you just started a fire. 35:08 She said, go out in the living room. 35:09 Go out in the kitchen. 35:14 'clock the Lord woke me up and I got to tell you what. 35:17 You ever had that experience? 35:19 And you pull out your Bible and you start reading and you wake 35:22 up in the morning. 35:24 It's like you get up in the morning fired up. 35:25 She said, why are you so spunky? 35:27 I said, honey, last night between 345 and 512, God and I 35:33 were studying our Bibles together. 35:35 She said, how was that? 35:36 I said, on my phone. 35:37 Amen. 35:39 The phone has some positive uses. 35:42 And I said, look at all these notes. 35:44 Look at all these notes. 35:47 I was wondering while you were moving around. 35:49 I thought you were restless. 35:50 I said, no, honey, I was not restless. 35:51 I was resting in Jesus. 35:53 When you allow God's Word to be in your life, sanctification 35:58 happens. 35:59 And sanctification, which is living by God's Word, notice 36:03 what it produces. 36:05 It produces unwavering faithfulness to Biblical truth. 36:11 Secondly, spiritual discernment and resistance to deception. 36:16 Now, don't run past that one. 36:17 Because if you don't know God's Word, anybody can tell you what 36:21 they think God's Word says and you'll believe it. 36:23 And that's what's happening nowadays. 36:25 People are saying, did you know? 36:27 And then if you don't know, then they could deceive you. 36:30 And deception is high nowadays. 36:32 The third thing it produces is sacrificial commitment to God's 36:36 mission. 36:38 Brethren, we are not just connected to a church. 36:40 We are connected to a mission. 36:47 And separation from worldliness. 36:50 Now watch this. 36:51 My good friend Pastor Doug Bachelors said this, and I have 36:53 to give him the credit for it. 37:00 Bible will keep you from what? 37:02 Sin. 37:10 First, Jesus is the foundation. 37:14 Secondly, God's church keeps His commandments. 37:16 Thirdly, the evidence that we are in God's church is it is a 37:19 worldwide mission. 37:20 Come on, say amen. 37:22 Why is it a worldwide mission? 37:23 Go to John 10, 16. 37:24 Let's look at that together. 37:25 Why is God's church a worldwide mission? 37:28 Why is it a worldwide mission? 37:32 And this is important. 37:33 Because we often say, and this is true, the majority of God's 37:37 people are still where? 37:39 Out in the world or in other churches? 37:41 The words of Jesus verifies that point. 37:44 John 10, 16. 37:45 The Word of God says, And other sheep I have which are not of 37:50 what? 37:51 This fold. 37:52 Let's put a pin right there. 37:54 This fold. 37:55 So therefore there must be a fold that Jesus identifies 38:00 with. 38:00 Amen. 38:04 would just say, other sheep I have. 38:06 But He said other sheep I have that are not of this fold. 38:09 And I want to give you a hint. 38:11 The devil knows what fold he's talking about. 38:13 Amen. 38:15 But he doesn't stop there. 38:16 What does mission do? 38:17 He says, them also I must bring. 38:19 And how does that happen? 38:20 And they will hear my voice. 38:23 And there will be one flock or one fold and one shepherd. 38:26 Now let me do a survey. 38:27 How many of you were in different churches before you 38:31 accepted the Advent message? 38:32 Raise your hand. 38:34 Wow. 38:35 That's huge. 38:36 You know why? 38:37 You heard God's voice. 38:37 Come on, say amen. 38:39 You heard God's voice. 38:40 As a 17-year-old, I think I was about maybe 15 or 16, not even 38:43 17. 38:47 world. 38:50 And I had this crazy internal desire. 38:54 I wanted to still be a disc jockey and still be saved. 39:00 I partied from Thursday to Sunday. 39:03 I still went to church. 39:04 I was in the building, but I was not in Jesus. 39:09 And at the time, this is shortly before I started dating 39:12 Angie. 39:14 And we're still dating. 39:17 Thursday night is our date night. 39:21 And I went to a Nazarene church and it was a Sunday morning, 39:25 and I went to their youth group and I'm not trying to throw any 39:28 aspersions against any denomination, but this 39:30 particular instance, I asked in the class, I was trying to get 39:36 away from the Sabbath. 39:37 I was not yet converted. 39:38 I said, why don't we keep the Sabbath and the Bible and the 39:41 youth pastor said, come with me. 39:43 I thought he was going to carry me to show me the reason. 39:48 It was on the lower level in that building and I could still 39:51 see it today. 39:55 steps, outside the church and said, don't you ever come back 39:58 here. 40:01 And I got on my bicycle and I rode home. 40:05 I went to a apostolic church next, which was right across 40:10 the street from my house. 40:12 They had bought out this big Catholic cathedral, big old 40:15 bishop, brother bishop, big brother like Pastor Ryan 40:20 Johnson. 40:22 No holes, just all solid rot. 40:25 So I said, so one evening after the services, I went to his 40:29 office and said, I need to ask you a question. 40:31 Could you tell me why you don't teach your members to keep the 40:35 Sabbath? 40:37 This blew me away. 40:38 And I was just starting to read the great controversy so I knew 40:41 this, Karen. 40:43 He said, now don't tell me that in 320, 180, Roman Emperor 40:46 Constantine changed the Sabbath to Sunday. 40:49 And he started rattling off history and I thought, whoa, he 40:53 knows. 40:54 He said, I'll be right back. 40:55 I sat in that seat for about 45 minutes and he never came back. 41:00 And I saw my way out. 41:03 I had one more shot. 41:05 We had a Catholic priest. 41:07 His name was Father John. 41:09 Sunday after the services, he would take the kids in the 41:11 community to get ice cream. 41:14 I benefited from the ice cream on many occasions. 41:18 So as I got older, I remember I went to the rectory and rang 41:25 the doorbell. 41:25 He let me in. 41:26 And I asked him the same question, why don't we keep the 41:31 Sabbath? 41:32 He said, that's very simple. 41:34 Our church was instrumental in changing it from Saturday to 41:36 Sunday. 41:38 And he said this, but we're too far gone to change now. 41:41 He's the only one that told me the truth. 41:45 So I thought, Lord, I can't get away from the Sabbath. 41:48 So what did they say? 41:50 If it's so high, you can't go over it. 41:54 If it's so low, you can't go under it. 41:57 If it's so wide, you can't go around it. 41:59 So what do you have to do? 42:00 You got to go what? 42:01 You got to go through it. 42:03 Thus, I decided, I got to give up this jockeying and become a 42:09 Sabbath -keeping Christian. 42:13 I heard the Lord's voice. 42:16 One Friday evening, when I was visiting with my girlfriend, 42:19 who's my wife, who's still my girlfriend, Friday evening 42:23 worship at her home, she asked me a question. 42:28 She said, have you ever heard of the great controversy? 42:30 I said, I think I did when I was growing up. 42:32 She said, hey, let's read it. 42:34 See, she was not allowed to date. 42:35 She had five Jamaican brothers, just like Fort Knox, trying to 42:41 date their youngest sister. 42:43 She's the youngest girl out of three girls. 42:45 And so I had to get through five. 42:47 So the only reason I could go to her house was for family 42:49 worship. 42:50 So this Friday evening, we're having family worship. 42:55 And she said, have you heard of the great controversy? 42:57 I said, I have. 43:00 read it. 43:02 Now keep in mind, my plan was to go to a party right after 43:05 family worship. 43:06 That was my pattern. 43:07 They would invite me to come over. 43:08 She said, I can't invite you over as a date, but I can 43:11 invite you over for worship. 43:14 That was my safety cover, worship. 43:17 That's how we dated through worship. 43:19 That Friday evening, she had me read a chapter in the great 43:23 controversy. 43:23 Now, remember, I'm living. 43:25 I'm deep into sin. 43:28 And guess what the first chapter was that she had me 43:29 read? 43:31 The Time of Trouble. 43:35 That shook my core. 43:36 I fell to my knees that Friday evening right there in her 43:40 living room, and I cried my heart out saying, Lord, forgive 43:43 me. 43:47 of Christ Return. 43:48 And I want to tell you, that did something to me. 43:50 I didn't go to that party that night. 43:53 And the next morning, I was in church. 43:56 But I had one more party left. 43:59 Seriously, I was invited to be the disc jockey for a wedding. 44:02 And I said, OK, Lord, let me just do this one more time. 44:05 You cannot bargain with God. 44:06 It's dangerous. 44:08 So here was a Sunday morning. 44:11 I was not the wedding officiant, but after that, I 44:14 was supposed to be the disc jockey at a wedding in the 44:16 Bronx. 44:19 And I had a small Honda Civic. 44:24 Does anybody remember when Honda Civics were small? 44:27 I mean, we're talking like, that's it. 44:31 Two doors. 44:32 I had two 15-inch speaker cabinets in the back, about 400 44:37 albums, two power amps. 44:40 And I think the equipment was heavier than the car. 44:45 And so here I am on Lafayette Avenue, on DeKalb Avenue in 44:48 Brooklyn, going downtown to get to the bridge. 44:52 And in front of me, I'm going to go way back. 44:54 Some of the guys that like cars remember this phrase, a deuce 44:58 in the quarter. 44:58 Anybody know what that is? 45:00 Electra 225, a deuce in the quarter. 45:04 And it was raining just lightly, and I pressed the 45:07 brakes on that car, and that Honda slid into the back of 45:13 that deuce in the quarter. 45:14 That big American car did not move. 45:18 I bent the steering wheel, broke the windshield on my 45:20 side, Angie broke the windshield on her side, and 45:23 this thought came to my mind, if you had died here, you'd 45:26 have been lost. 45:28 Monday morning, I took a whole list of all my albums to Bank 45:32 of America, where I worked downtown in Wall Street, gave 45:35 them all away. 45:37 Now, I'd have thrown them away now. 45:39 But you know, when you spend thousands of dollars on albums, 45:42 that was, you know, sinners have to get something back. 45:45 The wages of sin, you got to get some of those wages back. 45:49 And the Lord pulled me out of that life. 45:52 And God has an amazing sense of humor, because God knew what 45:58 his plans and his dreams for my life were. 46:01 You know what he did? 46:07 Anybody from Brooklyn? 46:08 That's a stretch. 46:10 Okay. 46:11 And here I am, people cussing and arguing and playing their 46:15 heavy music, and here's old brother John, got my big old 46:19 boombox, come on. 46:21 And I'm playing the heritage singers in a park in Brooklyn. 46:29 I am willing, Lord. 46:33 How's that for evangelism? 46:36 And God, knowing what his plans were for my future, the very 46:40 first album that I got that was not secular was a heritage 46:46 singer's album. 46:47 Someone gifted it to me, never knowing that I would be in that 46:51 group in my future. 46:53 Is God good or not? 46:55 What am I saying? 47:04 Nobody could have told me that this former disc jockey, 47:07 gambler, partier, pool hustler, carouser, nightlife, living for 47:10 the city, would ever be a preacher one day. 47:15 So God sees us in our brokenness. 47:17 And let me tell you, that was not the last brokenness all 47:19 throughout life, even throughout ministry. 47:23 The Lord still sees in us things that need to be pulled 47:25 out, and every now and then he allows the enemy to get access 47:29 to us so that we could straighten up, because God is 47:33 going to bring his church through. 47:35 What am I saying? 47:36 When you live according to God's purpose, you become a 47:40 missionary. 47:41 You become a what? 47:43 There are those who need to know the message, but you are a 47:45 missionary. 47:48 disciple, you are a missionary. 47:49 That's why the mission of the church is so vitally important 47:53 to the relevance and the saving of precious souls in the church 47:59 and in the world. 48:00 There are people in the church that need to know Christ 48:03 better, and they're looking at our lives to see whether or not 48:06 they can find Jesus in our lives. 48:09 One more thing. 48:10 Let's go to the book of Acts. 48:12 I'm going to show you the devil's last strategy. 48:15 Whenever a person is committed to the word of God, it shakes 48:20 the devil's kingdom, and he wants to find ways of breaking 48:25 down the effectiveness of God's work. 48:28 And he first goes after the messengers of God. 48:30 He knows that if the shepherd is struck, if the shepherd is 48:33 damaged, the sheep would stray. 48:35 Notice what he does. 48:36 Acts chapter 13, verse 46 and 47. 48:39 Now, Paul and Barnabas are in the city of Antioch, and they 48:42 are preaching the word of God with tenacity and conviction. 48:46 And they're preaching it to the Jewish community. 48:50 And the Jewish community did not recognize that they were 48:55 those who heard the message that wanted to hear it again by 49:02 invitation. 49:03 So the next Sabbath, the Bible says in Acts 13, almost the 49:06 whole city came together to hear the word of God. 49:11 What bothered me is that the folk that came in from the city 49:17 didn't know that some of the church members had a favorite 49:20 seat. 49:26 So they came in and sat in Brother so-and-so's favorite 49:29 seat. 49:33 And they got upset. 49:35 You read the story in the book of Acts. 49:38 And when the whole city filled up that place of worship, got 49:43 the church members so angry that they began contradicting 49:46 and blaspheming what was spoken by Paul and Barnabas. 49:51 Let me tell you something. 49:54 place up, I'm going to say, to God be the glory. 49:57 Church members, y'all sit over there. 49:59 Let the city fill it up. 50:00 Come on, say amen, somebody. 50:02 What did Paul and Barnabas say? 50:03 And this is very significant. 50:04 In Acts chapter 13 verses 46 and 47. 50:08 Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, It was necessary 50:12 that the word of God should be spoken to you when? 50:15 First. 50:16 But here's the danger. 50:18 But since you rejected and judge yourselves unworthy of 50:23 everlasting life, behold, we do what? 50:25 We turn to the Gentiles. 50:27 That's the mission. 50:29 For so the Lord has commanded us. 50:31 I have set you as a light to the Gentiles that you should be 50:36 for salvation to the ends of the earth. 50:39 The message of salvation is our responsibility. 50:44 Not salvation, but the message of salvation is our 50:48 responsibility. 50:50 The three angels' messages is our responsibility. 50:53 Before you leave, get some three angels' messages and 50:55 summary booklets. 50:57 Get some of the investigative judgment booklets. 50:59 I looked at that booklet that was written by Pastor James 51:02 Rafferty. 51:03 Phenomenal! 51:04 That doctrine is under attack. 51:07 Let's attack back by God's word. 51:10 Get some of those books. 51:11 Make sure you carry them home. 51:12 Three angels' messages. 51:13 Get the truth series. 51:15 What happens when you die? 51:17 Get the books. 51:18 God's church does not affirm LGBTQ. 51:21 God's church does not support abortion. 51:23 Come on, say amen to the body. 51:24 Get the gospel out there. 51:25 Let the people understand the message of veracity that God is 51:28 not playing. 51:32 those who think differently than his word actually teaches. 51:37 But let's look at what they did. 51:40 This is called the steps of apostasy. 51:43 What happened? 51:43 Look at verse 45. 51:45 Look at verse 45 of Acts chapter 13. 51:50 The Bible says, But when the Jews saw the multitude, they 51:52 were filled with what? 51:53 Envy. 51:55 And contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed to 51:57 the things spoken by Paul. 52:00 Three steps of apostasy. 52:01 The first one, they were filled with envy. 52:03 Don't ever allow somebody's response to the gospel to make 52:06 you envious. 52:08 Be careful when the spirit of envy rises up in you because 52:13 people are coming to the Lord. 52:15 The spirit of envy. 52:17 And what's amazing about that is the opposition wasn't just, 52:20 I was looking this up in the Bible commentary, the 52:23 opposition wasn't just theological, but it was 52:25 emotional. 52:26 They were filled with envy. 52:29 They were jealous that Paul's success in leading large crowds 52:33 to Jesus interrupted their church service. 52:38 And it made them envious and angry. 52:40 The second thing they did was they started contradicting and 52:43 blaspheming. 52:44 What is that? 52:49 the truth. 52:51 Active opposition to the truth. 52:53 Now, brethren, this is dangerous. 52:56 There are those who are actively living in opposition 52:59 to the truth. 53:00 And here's the thing. 53:01 They don't want it, but they don't want you to want it. 53:05 There are those on YouTube and Facebook constantly posting 53:10 reasons why you should no longer be a Seventh-day 53:12 Adventist, why you should no longer believe the 53:15 investigative judgment, why you should no longer believe that 53:18 the Sabbath is relevant, why they don't want it, but they 53:22 don't want you to want it. 53:23 That's satanic. 53:25 But that's not new. 53:26 They did that in Paul's day, contradicting and blaspheming. 53:33 That's why you have to stay away from those ministers of 53:35 darkness on YouTube. 53:36 You know what it always gets me? 53:38 Those people that are always talking about God's church and 53:40 the junk in it, they don't ever talk about their junk. 53:42 Have you noticed that? 53:45 They don't ever talk about the struggles they have in their 53:47 own life. 53:52 God says, how would you feel if every time you met somebody 53:55 they were saying something bad about your wife? 53:59 God's wife. 54:00 God's church. 54:02 Internal resentment against truth always resulting in 54:06 outward rebellion against the truth. 54:09 And that kind of stuff is going to die out. 54:11 You cannot build a ministry on negativity only on the light of 54:16 God's word. 54:17 Anything negative is not going to last. 54:20 Public opposition against truth always results in outward 54:24 attacks against the truth. 54:26 That's why it says they were opposing the things spoken. 54:30 So, brethren, you know what we're going to keep doing? 54:33 We're going to keep speaking. 54:34 Come on, say amen. 54:35 We're going to keep preaching. 54:36 We're going to make the message clear. 54:38 And as Elder Brooks told me, he says, preach it if it's not 54:41 clear. 54:42 Make it clearer. 54:43 If they don't hear it, say it again. 54:46 God calls us to integrity in these last days. 54:52 So, brethren, 2 Corinthians chapter 13, verse 8. 54:56 Will the church fail? 54:59 Is the question. 55:00 What's the answer? 55:01 Let me tell you why. 55:03 Here's the reason. 55:05 Let me tell you why. 55:06 Here's the reason. 55:07 2 Corinthians 13, verse 8. 55:09 This is the reason why God's church is not going to fail. 55:12 And I'm so glad for this passage. 55:14 Thank you, Paul. 55:18 Verse 8. 55:20 I'm going to repeat it and then I'm going to have you join me. 55:22 For we can do how much? 55:26 Nothing against the truth, but for the truth. 55:30 How much can you do to stop the truth? 55:32 Say it. 55:34 Nothing. 55:35 How much? 55:36 Nothing. 55:37 The devil was trying. 55:38 He's trying. 55:39 He's continuing to try. 55:43 But the apostle Paul says, you can try all you want. 55:46 You can't do anything against the truth. 55:48 Hallelujah. 55:50 You can't do anything against the truth. 55:51 But there's one more thing we must do. 55:53 First of all, Jesus is the foundation. 55:56 Secondly, God's church is the commandment-keeping church. 55:59 Thirdly, God's church is a mission-focused church to lead 56:03 those in darkness into this marvelous light. 56:06 But now what do you have to do? 56:07 Let's look at the last passage. 56:09 Luke chapter 6, verse 47 and 48. 56:11 There's something that we must do. 56:13 There's something that in a time of storm and controversy, 56:16 this is what we must do. 56:19 Luke 6, verse 47. 56:21 Whoever comes to me and hears my sayings and does them, I 56:26 will show you whom he is like. 56:29 This is your daily day. 56:31 He is like a man building a house who dug how? 56:34 Deep. 56:35 You got to dig deep in God's word. 56:37 And lay the foundation on the rock. 56:39 Who's the rock? 56:40 Jesus. 56:41 And when the flood arose, and the stream beat vehemently 56:46 against that house, and could not shake it, for it was 56:51 founded on the rock. 56:53 Amen, church? 56:54 The Advent message founded on the rock. 56:57 The remnant message founded on the rock. 57:00 God's people need to stay on the rock. 57:03 So when it gets rough, what do you say? 57:06 Remain seated. 57:07 When it gets tough, you have to get off. 57:11 Because when this plane lands, when this old ship of Zion 57:15 pulls into port, it should be your commitment that you follow 57:18 the Lord from the beginning, and when the journey is over, 57:21 you will be there in the end. 57:22 What do you say? 57:24 Jesus is the rock, His word is the anchor, and when we remain, 57:28 we are in the impregnable church. 57:30 God bless you. |
