00:04 the light of the world is shining, prepare your hearts to
00:14 proclaim the final cry. 00:17 This is 3ABN Summer Camp Meeting. 00:24 Hello, 3ABN family. 00:26 Welcome to opening night of 3ABN Camp Meeting. 00:30 This is our summer camp meeting, preparing to proclaim 00:34 the final cry. 00:35 We have people just coming in now, our 3ABN family, and I had 00:39 the opportunity just before we went live to talk to a few of 00:43 you. 00:45 Because it feels like home. 00:47 When you come together, you are part of the 3ABN family. 00:51 And for those of you at home, welcome as well. 00:53 You are part of the family. 00:55 We're so glad you're tuning in. 00:56 This is, of course, our music hour. 00:59 And then we have two hours of preaching tonight. 01:01 And we are looking forward to the anointing of the Holy 01:05 Spirit as we prepare to proclaim the final cry. 01:09 Amen. 01:10 Thank you, as Jill mentioned. 01:11 You are part of the 3ABN family. 01:13 I was literally just minutes ago down in the RV park. 01:16 I may look a little sweaty, but wow. 01:19 You still look cute. 01:21 I don't know. 01:22 I'm just Greg. 01:25 But there are many of you from all over have made, traveled 01:28 many miles to be here, saw a number that are not quite here 01:32 yet. 01:35 But what a blessing. 01:35 This is a time of revival, right? 01:37 We come here for fellowship, but also spiritual renewal. 01:41 And the wonderful thing about each one of you is you all are 01:44 evangelistically minded. 01:46 You like to share the gospel. 01:47 And so when you come here, get filled, you then go back to 01:50 your homes, your churches, your workplaces and share what you 01:53 have learned here. 01:56 Mr. Danny, a blessing to be here, isn't it? 01:58 Oh, I tell you, it is. 01:59 In this building, let's see, this is about 21 years, I 02:03 think, since we had camp meeting. 02:05 Our first one here, I think, was in 2004. 02:08 And some of you, I think I hear a phone ring and that's OK or a 02:13 call from somewhere. 02:15 They say call him up, call him up. 02:17 But some of the faces that I see out here was here in 2000 02:21 back in 2004. 02:22 Anybody been here for 20 years? 02:24 Ever come to 3AB and camp meeting? 02:26 I knew some of the folks there from Missouri for sure and some 02:29 of the other places. 02:31 Somebody I think out here you said came for camp meetings at 02:35 our very first. 02:37 From Tasmania, somebody had come all the way over from 02:40 Australia. 02:42 Incredible. 02:43 We plan on having a great weekend because we've been 02:46 praying and asking for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. 02:49 And when the Lord is here and we move out of the way, some 02:53 great, mighty, marvelous things will happen. 02:56 It's so great to be here. 02:58 We love to see your faces. 03:00 We love it when you come and we can look out and see you. 03:03 And of course, we love you at home as well. 03:06 We're so thankful that you're here. 03:08 And this is a time of renewal. 03:10 This is a time of recommitment where we can recommit ourselves 03:14 to Jesus. 03:15 So what a blessing it is to be here. 03:17 And I'm looking forward to just worshiping the Lord with you. 03:22 And now we have Pastor Ryan and Anissa Johnson with us. 03:27 You know, Jason Bradley was our Dare to Dream general manager 03:29 for years, and he married his beautiful wife and they moved 03:33 over to California. 03:34 And the Lord brought us Pastor Ryan Johnson and his wife, 03:39 Anissa. 03:43 assistant. 03:44 Is that how it works? 03:45 She's the boss. 03:47 So we're so glad to have you here. 03:49 Anything on your heart you want to share? 03:50 I just want to say it feels wonderful to be home. 03:54 Amen. 03:55 I love that. 03:56 Yes, I totally agree. 03:58 The family atmosphere is not just something that they talk 04:00 about. 04:01 It pervades every aspect of the ministry. 04:03 And being new, it is wonderful to be considered family. 04:07 You know, in these final days, the Holy Spirit is doing work 04:12 all over the world. 04:13 Is he not? 04:14 Yes, he is. 04:15 And that includes the urban ministry in our inner cities. 04:19 And that is the demographic that is under the purview of 04:22 the Dare to Dream network. 04:24 So keep us in prayer as we continue to spread the gospel 04:27 where it is needed most. 04:29 Amen. 04:30 He's a man of many talents. 04:32 Mr. Danny, he could almost be like our bodyguard or something 04:35 or I don't know. 04:36 I'm going to see that he goes with me everywhere I go. 04:40 But he also sings, you know, and so what a blessing. 04:43 Yeah, we're going to be blessed in just a few minutes by him. 04:45 Amen. 04:46 Yeah. 04:46 Praise the Lord. 04:47 So glad you all are here. 04:48 What a blessing. 04:48 Amen. 04:49 Thank you. 04:50 And then Pastor James and Reese Raffrey, they've been here for 04:53 many, many years. 04:54 But we are just in the process. 04:57 This is news to all of you, maybe. 05:00 But we have a brand new 3ABM program that we're launching. 05:04 It's called 3ABM Truth for Today. 05:06 We believe we are living in the last moments of Earth's 05:09 history. 05:12 We need to know why we believe what we believe and how we can 05:17 prove that from the Word of God. 05:20 This new series will feature different integral beliefs that 05:24 we can find in the Word. 05:26 The first one is the investigative judgment, the 05:29 everlasting gospel and the investigative judgment from the 05:34 Word of God. 05:35 That mini series will be airing on 3ABM next weekend. 05:40 Friday night in Sabbath. 05:42 It's a five-part series. 05:44 Incredible speakers. 05:45 You can look forward to that. 05:47 And in conjunction with that, Pastor James Raffrey, the Lord, 05:50 put on your heart, and I know on Greg's heart because he 05:53 asked you to work on this too, but a brand new book, Silencing 05:57 the Accuser, a Gospel Investigation of the 06:03 Investigative Judgment. 06:04 So talk to us about that. 06:05 Before he does, I just want to say this was kind of funny how 06:08 God works, but it's a divine appointment. 06:11 So we had some discussions about the investigative 06:13 judgment. 06:16 I called Pastor James in my office and I said, Pastor 06:18 James, can you write a book in one week? 06:23 And so get this though, he didn't even bat an eye. 06:26 He was like, yes, I can. 06:29 And then he told me this story because this is amazing how God 06:31 works. 06:32 Talk to us about that. 06:33 Yeah, so it's been a burden on my heart. 06:35 You know, we as Seventh-day Adventists are very good with 06:39 the truth and with the doctrines, but we're weak when 06:42 it comes to the Gospel at times, and we don't always 06:45 emphasize or bring Christ into our evangelistic meanings, our 06:49 evangelistic emphasis. 06:50 So I've been evangelist for many, many years. 06:52 I've traveled all over the world. 06:53 I've sung in many places, in the showers, of course. 06:57 I was going to say, I've never heard you sing, Pastor James. 07:02 And as I've done evangelism, I've noticed in my own growth 07:07 and understanding the need to bring Christ in more and more, 07:11 to push him in more and more. 07:13 So when Greg asked me to write this book, I said, you know, 07:15 I've already got a couple of tracks that I put together on 07:18 this, and the only limitation is going to be the word count. 07:22 And of course, I was eager to do it because my heart is 07:26 really into helping people to understand that we have 07:29 powerful Gospel truth in the investigative judgment, but we 07:33 don't always come at it in the right way as Seventh-day 07:37 Adventists. 07:43 why the investigative judgment is such good news from that 07:46 perspective. 07:49 -day timeline, and there's a nice, beautiful chart in there, 07:52 and all of that is there. 07:55 In fact, there's a little bit more of that in there, a little 07:57 bit more evidence that we've been given as we've moved down 07:59 through time. 08:00 But everything is saturated in Jesus Christ. 08:03 I'm really excited about this. 08:04 Just a lot of good insights and thoughts. 08:07 So this booklet is available right now at Camp Meeting. 08:09 We've been printing it at our call center, the initial run. 08:13 Any size donation, you can just pick it up and grab it and 08:16 share it with people. 08:17 It's at the booth. 08:18 For those of you at home, it is available now online at our 08:21 store, 3ABN.TV, and you can order it that way as well. 08:26 It's literally hot off the press. 08:28 I mean, they're printing right now at our call center, so 08:31 praise God. 08:34 praise God for that. 08:35 And I just want to mention, Recy actually wrote a new book, 08:38 too, which we have available at the call center, too. 08:40 Talk to us, Recy, about conquering the crave. 08:44 So conquering the crave kind of approaches, I guess, our health 08:47 from a different perspective. 08:48 A lot of times when we think about eating or drinking to the 08:50 glory of God, we always have like a specific food or drink 08:53 that we think we need to be eating or not eating. 08:55 And yet those are like superfluous things, really, 09:00 when we deal with the core of what's going on, it's the 09:04 crave. 09:08 that our problem with the crave is really inherent in our 09:12 nature. 09:16 and be strong where maybe we're weak, we'll recognize that 09:20 source and know that Christ is the answer. 09:22 Amen. 09:23 So you can get that at the booth. 09:25 That's available at the booth as well. 09:27 So we got lots of new resources. 09:29 Amen. 09:30 Now let's open in prayer. 09:32 Dr. Yvonne, how about opening prayer for us, please. 09:36 Holy Father, what a gift it is for us to be here. 09:39 What a privilege it is for us to worship you. 09:43 Thank you for your goodness, your mercy, your kindness, your 09:46 love. 09:49 are here, bringing them here safely. 09:51 And we just pray that your Spirit will just overtake us 09:55 this week. 09:56 Thank you again for all that you do and for who you are. 09:59 We praise you and bless your name. 10:00 In Jesus' name, Amen. 10:02 Amen. 10:03 Well, I think it's time to do some music. 10:05 What do you all think? 10:05 That's right. 10:06 Yes, sir. 10:09 Oh, Farah's already at the piano. 10:11 And they're going to come and bless us. 10:12 And then Pastor Ryan, I think you're next, right? 10:14 Yes, sir. 10:15 All right. 10:15 Let's do it. 10:16 Okay. 11:46 I hear my mocking voice among the scoffers. 11:56 It was my sin that held him there. 12:03 It was accomplished. 12:08 His dying breath has brought me life. 12:13 I know that it is finished. 12:19 I 12:31 will not boast in anything. 12:36 No gifts, no power, no wisdom. 12:41 But I will boast in Jesus Christ. 12:47 His death and resurrection. 12:53 Why should I gain from His reward? 12:58 I cannot give an answer. 13:05 But this I know with all my heart. 13:10 His wounds have paid my ransom. 13:16 Why should I gain from His reward? 13:21 I cannot give an answer. 13:32 But this I know with all my heart. 13:39 His wounds have paid my ransom. 14:14 Only human, I'm just a man. 14:23 Help me believe in what I could be and all that I am. 14:31 Show me the stairway that I have to climb. 14:41 Lord, for my sake, teach me to take one day at a time. 14:50 One day at a time. 14:53 Sweet Jesus, that's all that I'm asking of You. 15:02 Just give me the strength to do every day what I have to do. 15:12 Because yesterday's gone, sweet Jesus. 15:17 And tomorrow may never be mine. 15:22 So help me today. 15:27 Show me the way one day at a time. 15:34 Do you remember when you walked among? 15:43 Lord Jesus, you know, if you're looking below, that it's worse 15:49 now than then. 15:51 All this pushing and shoving, it's crowding my mind. 16:02 So Lord, for my sake, teach me to take one day at a time. 16:11 One day, sweet Jesus, that's all that I'm asking of You. 16:22 Just give me the strength to do every day what I have to do. 16:33 Because yesterday's gone, sweet Jesus. 16:39 And tomorrow may never be mine. 16:45 So help me today. 16:48 Show me the way one day at a time. 16:52 Oh, help me today. 16:58 Show me the way one day at a time. 17:09 Oh, 17:42 they will rejoice with my heart and my voice. 17:47 All my life I will give to the one who redeemed me. 17:56 I will worship the Christ and for Him sacrifice everything 18:04 that I am. 18:07 At the feet of the Lamb I will rejoice. 18:15 I will arise with the sun and lift my hands to the one who 18:24 has created the heavens and the earth. 18:31 All through the day I will sing praise to the Lord God my King. 18:39 And when the shadows have fallen, I will not fear He is 18:47 with me. 18:48 I will rejoice with 18:57 my will given to the one who redeemed me. 19:02 I will worship the Christ and to Him sacrifice everything 19:11 that I am. 19:13 At the feet of the Lamb I will rejoice. 19:59 I will give to the one who redeemed me. 20:05 I will worship the Christ and to Him sacrifice everything 20:14 that I am. 20:16 At the feet of the 20:26 Lamb I will rejoice again. 20:29 I say rejoice. 20:47 Isn't that wonderful? 20:48 Praise the Lord. 20:49 Thank you, Tim. 20:53 And you wake up the next morning and you say, Lord, 20:55 forgive me? 20:56 And next week you say, Lord, forgive me? 20:59 And every time you say, Lord, forgive me, He's there to 21:02 forgive you. 21:03 Well, this song talks about the reason why, because we could 21:06 never fall farther than His grace can reach. 21:13 Oh, 21:34 you can still put up with me. 21:40 I know I put you to the limit, or so it seems. 21:54 I start each day with good intentions, then fill you in a 22:04 thousand ways. 22:07 But still you keep forgiving me of the same mistakes. 22:21 No faults, no wrong, no dark of night can hide me from your 22:32 eyes. 22:34 I cannot fall a climb farther than your grace can reach. 22:52 I know you've heard this prayer I'm praying, but 23:07 I don't deserve your mercy but once again. 23:18 You say no faults, no wrong, no dark of night can hide me from 23:29 your eyes. 23:39 I cannot fall a climb farther than your grace can reach. 23:48 Rock of ages, cleft for me. 24:03 God bless us all, the weak and weary. 24:11 We are captives of our flesh and blood. 24:18 But our only freedom is the refuge of your love. 24:29 You say no faults, no wrong, no dark of night can hide me from 24:41 your eyes. 24:51 I cannot fall a climb farther than your grace can reach. 24:58 Farther than your grace can reach. 25:16 Your grace can reach. 25:51 Suspended above the world that he made and below his home in 26:04 the sky. 26:09 And flesh came down to man and man raised him up to die. 26:22 And there on the tree the destiny of every fallen man was 26:38 hailed by nails driven through His sinless feet and hands. 26:53 Somewhere between Heaven and Earth stood a symbol of grace 27:03 not based on our word. 27:07 It was there we endured what we deserved. 27:16 For a cross held the hope of the world somewhere between 27:24 Heaven and Earth. 27:30 Somewhere between time and space Somewhere between 27:40 judgment and grace He became a sin He'd never know. 27:52 And as the skies turned black His Father turned His back and 28:00 for that moment He was left alone. 28:12 Somewhere between Heaven and Earth stood a symbol of grace 28:22 not based on our word. 28:27 It was there He endured what we deserved. 28:35 For a cross held the hope of the world somewhere between 28:44 Heaven and Earth. 28:53 stood a symbol of grace not based on our word. 29:00 It was there 29:06 we endured for a cross held the hope of the world 29:33 somewhere between Heaven 29:42 and Earth. 29:49 Suspended above the world that He'd made and below His home in 30:00 the sky. 30:15 We're so happy to be back at camp meeting. 30:19 Are y'all glad? 30:21 Y'all, we're just getting going. 30:22 It's going to be a great, great, wonderful week all the 30:25 way through Sabbath and here we go. 30:27 Hang on and get ready. 30:28 The Lord's going to do some work. 30:30 He's already done some work in my life on this drive up here 30:33 today. 30:34 Me too. 30:35 He was driving really fast. 30:38 No, we're so happy to be here again with you and the 3ABN 30:41 family. 30:43 And I was just thinking when we were singing about that, the 30:44 cross, you know, and I thought about the other day, I think it 30:49 was just last night we were sitting on our deck and we were 30:51 just talking about all the different miracles that God 30:54 did, that Jesus did when He was on Earth and all the different 30:57 ones in the Bible and great ones, the sight to see, healing 31:02 the leper. 31:03 Raising the dead. 31:04 Yes, all of those things. 31:05 Amazing. 31:09 just desperately wanting that miracle? 31:12 And sometimes that miracle is the one you receive and 31:15 sometimes it's not the miracle you get, but God has a bigger 31:21 plan and a better miracle that maybe you can't see at that 31:24 moment. 31:25 And we were talking about the cross and we were talking about 31:28 all those things and Reggie said, but you know what the 31:29 greatest miracle of all is? 31:32 The one that He did at the cross for us that make all 31:34 those miracles, you know, makes it where we can do that. 31:39 He died on the cross. 31:40 Yes. 31:40 And rose again. 31:41 It makes all of those miracles possible. 31:43 Absolutely. 31:44 But He gave His only begotten Son for us. 31:48 Whosoever believes in Him shall be saved. 31:50 So those things you're going through that are so hard or 31:52 your child or your family, those hard, hard times, Jesus 31:57 has come to give life. 31:58 He's going to see you through that however it plays out right 32:03 here on earth one day. 32:04 But He's going to never leave you and He came so that all of 32:09 us could have life. 32:10 That's the biggest promise and I can't wait to hear all the 32:13 things that the speakers are going to speak about tonight 32:16 and all through the weekend. 32:18 There's room at the cross for you, for your son, for your 32:24 daughter, for your wayward sister or brother. 32:28 There's room at the cross. 32:30 Whenever they come, He says, all you come to me, all you who 32:33 are weary, and I will give you rest. 32:41 There's room at the cross for you. 32:51 There's room at the cross for 33:03 you. 33:04 Though millions have come, there's still room for one. 33:16 Yes, there's room at the cross for you. 33:32 The cross upon which Jesus died is a shelter in which we can 33:47 hide and its grace so free, it's sufficient for me. 34:01 And deep is its fountain, as wide as the sea. 34:13 There's room at the cross for you. 34:22 There's room at the cross for you. 34:38 There's still room for one. 34:43 Yes, there's room at the cross for you. 34:53 Though millions have come, there's still room for one. 35:12 Yes, there's room at the cross for you. 35:32 That changes everything, doesn't it? 35:34 Changes everything. 35:36 We have hope in the Lord, you guys. 35:38 We have hope in the Lord. 35:39 And that's why it's so great this weekend for camp meeting 35:42 because we're all together, believers together, and we're 35:46 the family of God. 35:48 We'll have to sing that one later this week. 35:50 Family of God, all together, and you guys sing it with us 35:53 for sure. 35:54 We want to sing another song that we recorded many, many 35:57 years ago in Toronto, Canada with the Gaither Homecoming 36:01 Group. 36:03 And this was a song that we actually recorded that we had 36:08 heard overseas in Ireland, and my uncle loved Irish music. 36:13 And he called me and said, hey, you know, I'm not doing well. 36:17 I might be passing, you know, away soon, and I want you to 36:22 sing that, you know, at my celebration. 36:24 I said, oh, come on, let's don't talk about that. 36:27 Let's have a good day and everything. 36:28 He said, I'm having a great day, but I'm just telling you 36:30 what I want. 36:31 And I said, yes, sir. 36:33 And so we did that and then put together this song, and we 36:36 ended up singing it on the Gaither Homecoming, and it goes 36:41 like this. 37:05 And oh, my soul so weary When troubles come And my heart 37:15 burdened And I am still And wait here in the silence Until 37:28 you come And sit awhile with me And you raise me up So I can 37:42 stand on mountains. 37:44 And you raise me up to walk on stormy seas. 37:53 And I am strong when I am on your shoulders. 38:03 And you raise me up to more than I can be. 38:45 And you raise me up so I can stand on mountains. 38:54 And you raise me up to walk on stormy seas. 39:02 And I am strong when I am on your shoulders. 39:11 And you raise me up to more than I can be. 39:25 There is no life, no life without its hunger. 39:32 Each restless heart beats so imperfectly. 39:48 Sometimes I think I glimpse eternity. 39:55 You raise me up so I can stand on mountains. 40:04 You raise me up to walk on stormy seas. 40:12 And I am strong when I am on your shoulders. 40:22 You raise me up to more than I can be. 40:32 Oh Lord, you raise me up to more than we can be. 41:04 Amen. 41:06 Beautiful. 41:07 Thank you so much. 41:10 Reggie and Lady, we met 20 some odd years ago and we've just 41:16 bonded. 41:17 You know, when you're Christians, you have something 41:20 in common. 41:21 So from the time we met, we've just been so. 41:23 And you and Yvonne, when you guys met, it's just like, you 41:27 know, they were in the studio and never sang together and the 41:29 Lord just blessed. 41:31 And so it's incredible to have you guys here. 41:33 They literally, let's scoot up a little bit, they travel 41:36 around the world this full time for them. 41:39 And so we're grateful that they'll spend a few days with 41:42 us. 41:46 four or five nights a week. 41:47 About 70, 75. 41:48 Still riding in buses, right? 41:50 Still riding all night in buses and go to the next place and go 41:54 again. 41:55 But it's amazing what you guys do and how consistent you've 41:59 been for the Lord. 42:00 And I respect you and love you. 42:03 But they asked me to sing just a while ago with no notice. 42:07 They asked me to come out and sing a song with them. 42:10 So no practice, no notice. 42:11 So this is my excuse before in case anything goes south. 42:16 If it goes alright, forget I said this, okay? 42:19 But I loved, at first I knew I loved Danny as a brother when 42:23 first of all, he beat me in ping pong. 42:26 And secondly, when he had the greatest three-point shot I'd 42:29 ever seen next to Stephen Curry, you know? 42:31 You think he's better than me? 42:33 Well, no, it's close, it's close. 42:35 But I knew, first of all, I wanted him to be on my team 42:38 wherever that was because it was unbelievable. 42:41 But I just fell in love with that guy because when he came 42:43 on the ship, you had a 3ABN hat on. 42:46 And I'm like, 3ABN, what is that? 42:49 And then we got to talking and just became best buddies 42:52 forever and now we've traveled all over the world together 42:55 preaching and singing. 42:56 Absolutely, I love it. 42:57 Love doing ministry. 42:58 What are we going to sing? 42:59 Are you going to sing with us? 43:00 Yeah. 43:03 How do you like that? 43:05 You're on a need-to-know basis. 43:07 I'll point to you when it's time to go. 43:09 OK? 43:12 So, really, I'm just feeling it, it sounds like. 43:18 I will serve thee Because I love thee You have given life 43:35 to me I 43:42 was nothing Before you found me 43:55 Given life to 44:05 me Heartaches Broken pieces Ruin life 44:30 or touch is what I long for, I've given life. 44:53 I will serve Thee because I love Thee. 45:04 You have given life to me. 45:20 There was nothing before you found me. 45:28 You have given life to me. 45:48 You have given me peace, broken pieces. 45:57 Your eyes are white, you died 46:14 was what I longed for. 46:22 You have given life to me. 46:34 You have given 46:44 life to me. 47:05 You have given life to me. 47:07 You have given life to me. 47:09 You have given life to me. 48:00 You have given life to me. 48:02 You have given life to me. 48:03 You have given life to me. 48:22 I went to visit the shrine of Plenty and found its storerooms 48:39 all filled with dust. 48:44 I bowed at altars of gold and silver and as I knelt there 49:01 they turned to us. 49:06 So I'll worship only at the feet of Jesus. 49:20 His cup alone, my holy grail, there'll be no other gods 49:40 before him. 49:44 Just Jesus only will never fail. 49:54 The call of fortune made me a pilgrim to journey to fame's 50:14 promised heights. 50:17 But as I climb the promise faded and winds blew lonely all 50:36 through the night. 50:40 So I'll worship only at the feet of Jesus. 50:54 His cup alone, my holy grail, there'll be no other gods 51:13 before him. 51:17 Just Jesus only will never fail. 51:28 Just desert dust and empty shadows all promises just turns 51:48 to lies. 51:50 You know why? 51:52 For the gods of earth fail and betray me. 52:04 But you alone 52:15 I'll worship only at the feet of Jesus. 52:28 His cup alone, my holy grail, there'll be no other gods 52:47 before him. 52:50 Just Jesus only for he will never fail. 53:02 Just Jesus only for he will never fail. 53:16 Amen. 53:24 Isn't it so good to know that Jesus never fails? 53:28 If we think about the journey that we're all on and each one 53:31 of us is on a journey, a journey that we don't know how 53:34 it's going to end. 53:37 Life is so unpredictable. 53:39 It brings to us, without our permission, challenges that are 53:43 great and small. 53:45 And when we look at the dates, you know, 22, 23, 24, 25, 2024 53:52 has been such a challenging year for my wife and my family. 53:57 We say when we look back on it, we don't know how we made it 53:59 through it. 54:01 She lost her brother in March of 2024. 54:03 I lost my sister in April 2024. 54:06 I lost my niece six months later. 54:08 How ironic that at my sister's graveside, there with her only 54:12 daughter, we're lamenting the loss of her mom, only six 54:16 months later, she's buried right on top of her mother. 54:21 What do you do when that happens? 54:23 How do you go beyond those moments and find that you 54:26 continue worshiping God when sometimes you say, Lord, work 54:30 this out for me. 54:32 I remember being my sister's bedside and she had been, Tim, 54:36 she'd been partying since I was 16. 54:39 She was 19. 54:40 We were three years apart and when we left the church, I was 54:43 only 13 years old. 54:46 And I remember very well back, and I won't tell you what year 54:48 it was because you saw that in my age-up, but I'm still young, 54:52 praise God. 54:53 And I left the church at 13 years old, got involved in the 54:56 nightlife of New York City, not knowing what to do. 54:59 And at 16, I met my wife-to-be, my wife, Angela. 55:04 She's watching tonight. 55:05 She's healing from surgery. 55:07 Keep her in your prayer. 55:09 And she started my journey back to the Lord, 16, 17, 18, still 55:15 partying, still going to church, still listening to 55:18 sermons, still partying. 55:20 I partied from Thursday to Sunday, but I still went to 55:23 church. 55:26 preaching. 55:27 And as time went on, the Lord kept speaking to me, and I kept 55:30 coming closer and closer to the front until one day we both got 55:34 baptized together at 19. 55:37 Never knowing what the Lord had in store for us, because life 55:40 is a journey He never tells us. 55:42 And through the ups and downs of life, here we are today, 55:45 2025, not knowing what 2026 is going to bring. 55:51 So when we have camp meetings like this, the final cry, it 55:55 just may well be the final cry. 55:58 So what do we do? 56:00 I don't know if Reggie and Lady are backstage at all, or if 56:03 Danny and Reggie and Lady are backstage. 56:05 I want to have them come out, because that song they just 56:08 sang a moment ago. 56:08 Come on out. 56:09 I think it fits so beautifully. 56:12 If you could give Danny a microphone, if you could find a 56:14 note, tell him, come on out. 56:17 Because I will serve thee. 56:20 Why? 56:21 Because I love thee. 56:23 That should be the only reason we serve the Lord. 56:27 Not because we have a better health plan. 56:29 Not because heaven is ahead of us. 56:32 But because we love Him. 56:34 He loved us. 56:36 We loved Him because He loved us. 56:37 Amen, somebody? 56:39 Amen. 56:42 You get whatever key they're in, and we just kind of 56:43 harmonize with them. 56:45 Whatever key, Reggie, could you see? 56:47 What key could you see? 56:48 I'll sing a lead, and you harmonize. 56:49 Okay, sounds great. 56:51 Is Danny going to join us? 56:52 Not sure, okay. 56:54 But we'll try together. 56:58 serious, very simple chorus. 57:00 But here's the reason I want you to sing it. 57:03 If you're serving Jesus for financial benefits, that's the 57:07 wrong reason. 57:08 If you're serving Him because He answers your prayer, there 57:12 may be a day when He decides not to answer the prayer the 57:15 way you pray it. 57:16 But you need to still serve Him anyhow. 57:19 And so tonight as we begin this camp meeting about the final 57:24 cry, we want to make sure that you calibrate your mind, that 57:28 you're serving Him for the right reasons. |
