3ABN presents The Robe with Stephen Bohr. 00:00:05.01\00:00:08.49 And welcome to the 3ABN Worship Center. 00:00:11.87\00:00:15.86 And it's located here in Thompsonville, Illinois. 00:00:16.06\00:00:20.00 And some of you wonder... you hear West Frankfort, 00:00:20.30\00:00:22.89 you hear Thompsonville. 00:00:23.09\00:00:24.44 You know something amazing... before I came here 00:00:24.75\00:00:27.50 I was a little confused. Well, are they in West Frankfort 00:00:27.70\00:00:30.41 or are they in Thompsonville? 00:00:30.61\00:00:32.01 West Frankfort's where our mail comes from 00:00:32.31\00:00:34.36 and it's actually the address for most of us 00:00:34.56\00:00:37.36 even though we live 10 miles from West Frankfort. 00:00:37.56\00:00:40.07 But right up the road is the line to Thompsonville. 00:00:40.37\00:00:43.97 And Thompsonville is about a mile or less - 00:00:44.07\00:00:45.94 beautiful, downtown Thompsonville - 00:00:46.34\00:00:49.39 from where 3ABN's headquarters building is. 00:00:49.59\00:00:54.27 And so the Worship Center is located actually 00:00:54.57\00:00:57.72 in Thompsonville. And the Thompsonville SDA Church 00:00:57.92\00:01:01.63 meets here on Sabbath morning in the Worship Center. 00:01:01.84\00:01:06.40 And most of us are members of the Thompsonville SDA Church. 00:01:06.70\00:01:11.16 And so we meet together here for worship 00:01:11.46\00:01:14.41 when we're not out on the road somewhere preaching the message. 00:01:14.61\00:01:18.92 But we are so fortunate here 00:01:19.22\00:01:22.34 to be able to have so many of God's wonderful servants 00:01:22.64\00:01:27.42 come and to preach to us. 00:01:27.62\00:01:29.24 And this is our Sabbath morning service, 00:01:29.44\00:01:31.49 but we will be continuing this series on The Robe 00:01:31.70\00:01:35.52 that is being brought to us by Pastor Stephen Bohr. 00:01:35.72\00:01:39.36 Pastor Bohr is one of the most popular speakers 00:01:39.66\00:01:42.34 on Three Angels Broadcasting Network, 00:01:42.54\00:01:44.45 and he's on our television and radio both. 00:01:44.75\00:01:48.17 And we just really enjoy his ministry 00:01:48.47\00:01:52.41 and we are so happy that he can be with us today. 00:01:52.60\00:01:56.12 He's going to be talking to us on the subject 00:01:56.42\00:01:59.46 Examining the Robe. 00:01:59.66\00:02:02.75 Pastor Bohr is pastor of the Fresno Central SDA Church, 00:02:03.05\00:02:06.99 and he is also the speaker/ director for Secrets Unsealed. 00:02:07.19\00:02:12.68 And that is the name of his ministry which is reaching out 00:02:12.98\00:02:16.44 around the world. 00:02:16.64\00:02:18.83 And so we are so happy to have him here. 00:02:19.03\00:02:21.32 And before we listen to the message today 00:02:21.62\00:02:24.63 we're going to invite Pastor Bohr to come 00:02:24.83\00:02:27.81 and to lead us to the throne of grace. 00:02:28.01\00:02:32.02 Good morning. Good morning. 00:02:39.09\00:02:41.70 It's good to see all of you here this morning 00:02:42.01\00:02:44.56 to praise the Lord and to pray to Him 00:02:45.90\00:02:49.48 and to study His Word. 00:02:49.69\00:02:51.72 Before we being this morning I would like to 00:02:52.82\00:02:55.46 extend a very special greeting to my church in Fresno - 00:02:55.67\00:03:00.31 Fresno Central Church - where I'm going to be preaching 00:03:00.51\00:03:03.08 this morning on television. 00:03:03.28\00:03:05.41 And so I wanted to say hello to all of my beloved members. 00:03:05.71\00:03:09.27 I love you all. 00:03:09.47\00:03:10.69 Now I'd like to invite you to bow your heads with me 00:03:10.99\00:03:13.21 as we pray. 00:03:13.41\00:03:14.49 Father in Heaven, as we come to this place this morning 00:03:14.99\00:03:19.20 we want to hear the voice of Your Holy Spirit. 00:03:19.40\00:03:21.78 We want to know what Your will is for us. 00:03:22.09\00:03:25.50 We want to know clearly so that we can obey Your will 00:03:25.80\00:03:30.55 and we can live in harmony with what You have revealed. 00:03:30.85\00:03:34.29 Father, as we study this morning about Examining the Robe 00:03:34.59\00:03:39.11 we ask that You will be present in our midst 00:03:39.41\00:03:42.68 to instruct us and to give us the capacity 00:03:42.98\00:03:46.32 and the strength to live in harmony with what we study. 00:03:46.52\00:03:49.85 And we thank you, Father, for hearing and answering our prayer 00:03:50.15\00:03:53.49 for we ask it in Jesus' name. Amen. 00:03:53.70\00:03:57.11 During this series we've been studying 00:03:59.84\00:04:02.35 about the robe of Christ, 00:04:02.55\00:04:05.31 and we moved first of all into the camp. 00:04:05.61\00:04:11.34 Jesus came to live His life in our midst. 00:04:11.64\00:04:15.30 And then we followed Jesus into the court 00:04:15.60\00:04:18.83 where Jesus went to die to pay our penalty for sin. 00:04:19.14\00:04:23.64 And then in our last sermon we moved into the holy place 00:04:24.69\00:04:29.09 where Jesus serves as our Advocate or as our Intercessor. 00:04:29.39\00:04:33.88 Now today we're going to follow Jesus into the most holy place 00:04:35.32\00:04:39.99 of the sanctuary. 00:04:40.19\00:04:41.85 The title is: Examining the Robe. 00:04:42.35\00:04:46.90 And I'd like to begin by saying that we're going to study 00:04:47.20\00:04:51.07 a parable of Jesus that shows beyond any doubt 00:04:51.27\00:04:56.63 that the judgment takes place before Jesus comes 00:04:56.93\00:05:02.84 and it takes place in heaven before Jesus comes. 00:05:03.14\00:05:08.78 That is going to come forth clearly because 00:05:09.08\00:05:12.21 Seventh-day Adventists have always taught 00:05:12.31\00:05:14.16 that the judgment is not simply when Jesus comes 00:05:14.36\00:05:17.80 for the second time. There is an investigative judgment 00:05:18.00\00:05:21.56 that takes place before the close of probation 00:05:21.76\00:05:24.84 before Jesus comes on the clouds of heaven, 00:05:25.04\00:05:28.77 and this parable is going to make it absolutely clear. 00:05:29.07\00:05:33.45 Now I'd like to invite you to open your Bibles with me 00:05:33.75\00:05:36.56 to Matthew chapter 22 and we're going to read verses 1-14. 00:05:36.76\00:05:42.59 Matthew 22 verses 1 to 14, and then we're going to interpret 00:05:42.89\00:05:47.75 this very important parable. 00:05:47.95\00:05:50.78 It says there: 00:05:51.08\00:05:53.64 "And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables 00:05:53.94\00:05:57.79 and said: the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king 00:05:58.41\00:06:04.21 who arranged a marriage for his son 00:06:04.42\00:06:08.80 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited 00:06:09.10\00:06:13.99 to the wedding, and they were not willing to come. 00:06:14.20\00:06:18.29 Again, he sent out other servants saying: 00:06:18.59\00:06:22.53 'Tell those who are invited see, I have prepared my dinner. 00:06:22.73\00:06:27.78 My oxen and fatted cattle are killed 00:06:27.98\00:06:31.08 and all things are ready. Come to the wedding. ' 00:06:31.38\00:06:37.09 But they made light of it and went their ways... 00:06:37.39\00:06:40.48 one to his own farm, another to his business. 00:06:40.78\00:06:45.21 And the rest seized his servants, 00:06:45.35\00:06:48.30 treated them spitefully, and killed them. 00:06:48.50\00:06:51.78 But when the king heard about it he was furious, 00:06:52.09\00:06:55.15 and he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, 00:06:55.45\00:06:59.59 and burned up their city. 00:06:59.79\00:07:02.04 Then he said to his servants: 00:07:02.34\00:07:04.66 'The wedding is ready but those who were invited 00:07:04.96\00:07:08.54 were not worthy. Therefore, go into the highways 00:07:08.74\00:07:12.94 and as many as you find invite to the wedding. ' 00:07:13.14\00:07:16.92 So the servants went out into the highways 00:07:17.22\00:07:21.29 and gathered together all whom they found... 00:07:21.50\00:07:23.95 both bad and good. 00:07:24.15\00:07:26.69 And the wedding hall was filled with guests. 00:07:26.99\00:07:30.50 But when the king came in to see the guests 00:07:30.80\00:07:34.27 he saw a man who did not have on a wedding garment. 00:07:34.47\00:07:38.80 So he said to him: 00:07:39.11\00:07:41.50 'Friend how did you come in here without a wedding garment? ' 00:07:41.80\00:07:46.32 And he was speechless. 00:07:46.52\00:07:50.52 Then the king said to the servants: 00:07:50.82\00:07:53.09 'Bind him hand and foot. 00:07:53.39\00:07:56.00 Take him away and cast him into outer darkness. 00:07:56.20\00:08:01.25 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth 00:08:01.46\00:08:06.01 for many are called but few are chosen. ' " 00:08:06.31\00:08:10.69 Now let's interpret the meaning of this parable, 00:08:11.09\00:08:14.61 and we'll do it studying verse by verse. 00:08:14.91\00:08:18.60 Let's go to verse 1. 00:08:18.71\00:08:21.12 "And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables 00:08:21.42\00:08:26.74 and said: " Now, Jesus spoke in parables. 00:08:26.94\00:08:29.76 According to the experts who have studied the parables 00:08:29.96\00:08:33.46 the purpose of a parable is to teach one central truth 00:08:33.66\00:08:36.92 but the details of the parable are very, very important 00:08:37.12\00:08:42.16 in pointing to that central truth. 00:08:42.36\00:08:44.88 Now let's go to verse two: 00:08:46.16\00:08:48.20 "The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king. " 00:08:48.50\00:08:51.88 Now the king here represents God the Father. 00:08:52.18\00:08:56.27 That's going to become very clear as we study. 00:08:56.57\00:08:59.31 "The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king" - 00:08:59.61\00:09:02.35 God the Father - 00:09:02.65\00:09:03.96 "who arranged a marriage for his son. " 00:09:04.26\00:09:07.40 Very clearly the son is none other than whom? 00:09:07.70\00:09:11.15 The son is Jesus Christ. 00:09:11.45\00:09:14.40 Now of course, if you're going to have a wedding 00:09:14.70\00:09:17.37 you need to have guests at the wedding. 00:09:17.67\00:09:20.48 You need to send out invitations. 00:09:20.78\00:09:22.74 And so in verse 3 we find a call inviting the guests 00:09:23.04\00:09:28.06 to the wedding. It says in verse 3: 00:09:28.26\00:09:30.86 "And sent out his servants to call those who were invited 00:09:31.16\00:09:36.77 to the wedding... and they were not willing to come. " 00:09:36.97\00:09:41.78 Now the question is: who are these servants 00:09:42.08\00:09:44.47 that were sent out by God the Father to arrange 00:09:44.67\00:09:47.74 for the wedding of His Son? 00:09:47.94\00:09:49.93 The key expression is: "He sent out his servants. " 00:09:50.24\00:09:55.64 I believe the answer is three-fold as to who 00:09:55.94\00:09:58.58 these servants were who were sent out to call 00:09:58.78\00:10:01.36 to the wedding of the son. 00:10:01.56\00:10:03.79 Notice John chapter 1 verses 6 and 7. 00:10:04.09\00:10:06.93 John 1:6-7. This is the first individual who 00:10:07.13\00:10:10.03 was sent out to invite these people to the wedding. 00:10:10.23\00:10:14.21 It says there in John 1:6-7 00:10:14.51\00:10:16.64 "There was a man... " and here's the key word... 00:10:16.94\00:10:19.30 "sent from God whose name was John. 00:10:19.50\00:10:23.84 This man came for a witness 00:10:24.14\00:10:26.75 to bear witness of the life" - of course, it was Jesus - 00:10:26.95\00:10:30.37 that all through Him might believe. " 00:10:30.57\00:10:33.03 So who was the first servant sent out to invite 00:10:33.33\00:10:35.93 this group to the wedding? 00:10:36.13\00:10:37.52 It was John the Baptist. 00:10:37.82\00:10:39.83 But there was a second group. 00:10:40.03\00:10:41.43 Notice Matthew chapter 10 verses 5 through 7. 00:10:41.63\00:10:44.96 This group was sent out by Jesus to announce to these people 00:10:45.26\00:10:50.26 to get ready for the wedding 00:10:50.36\00:10:51.67 because the bridegroom was in their midst. 00:10:51.88\00:10:54.14 Matthew 10 verses 5 through 7. 00:10:54.34\00:10:56.38 Speaking about the twelve: "These twelve 00:10:56.68\00:11:00.19 Jesus sent out. " See, there's the key expression again: 00:11:00.39\00:11:04.56 sent... sent out. 00:11:04.76\00:11:06.14 "And commanded them saying: - 00:11:06.44\00:11:08.33 now this is important - 00:11:08.63\00:11:09.76 "do not go into the way... " That Greek word 00:11:09.96\00:11:14.77 is translated later on in the parable 00:11:14.97\00:11:17.82 highways. It's the identical Greek word. 00:11:18.02\00:11:21.61 You need to remember that. 00:11:21.81\00:11:22.88 He says: "Do not go out in the way 00:11:23.09\00:11:26.32 of the Gentiles. " 00:11:26.52\00:11:28.17 So the word way refers to going to whom? 00:11:28.27\00:11:30.88 To the Gentiles. Highway it's translated in the parable. 00:11:31.18\00:11:35.02 So He says: "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles 00:11:35.32\00:11:39.02 and do not enter a city of the Samaritans, 00:11:39.22\00:11:42.26 but go... " See, they're being sent. 00:11:42.56\00:11:44.89 "go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 00:11:45.09\00:11:47.94 And as you go, preach saying: 'the kingdom 00:11:48.24\00:11:52.15 of heaven is at hand. ' " 00:11:52.35\00:11:53.87 So what is the second group that was sent 00:11:53.97\00:11:55.79 to call these people to the wedding? 00:11:55.99\00:11:58.57 It was the twelve disciples. 00:11:58.88\00:12:00.96 But there was another group. 00:12:01.06\00:12:02.34 Notice Luke chapter 10 and verse 1. 00:12:02.54\00:12:04.96 Have you ever heard of the group of the 70? 00:12:05.16\00:12:07.68 Notice Luke chapter 10 and verse 1 00:12:07.99\00:12:09.91 and once again we have the key expression "sent them. " 00:12:10.11\00:12:13.29 It says there: "After these things the Lord appointed 00:12:13.59\00:12:17.67 seventy others and" what? 00:12:17.87\00:12:20.81 "sent them two by two before His face" 00:12:21.01\00:12:24.56 into every city and place where He Himself 00:12:24.76\00:12:28.44 was about to go. 00:12:28.65\00:12:30.69 So those who were sent to call 00:12:30.89\00:12:34.73 specifically the Jews to the wedding 00:12:34.93\00:12:37.59 were John the Baptist, the twelve disciples, 00:12:37.79\00:12:41.21 and the group of the 70 to call the Jews 00:12:41.41\00:12:45.04 to prepare for the wedding of the Son... Jesus Christ. 00:12:45.24\00:12:49.11 But the Bible says that they rejected the message. 00:12:49.41\00:12:53.33 So what was God going to do? 00:12:53.63\00:12:55.21 Notice verse 4 in the parable. By the way, 00:12:55.51\00:12:58.04 keep your finger there in Matthew 22 00:12:58.24\00:12:59.78 because we're going to continually go back there. 00:12:59.98\00:13:02.34 Verse 4: "Again he sent out other servants 00:13:02.54\00:13:08.00 saying: 'tell those who are invited 00:13:08.30\00:13:11.69 see, I have prepared My dinner. ' " 00:13:11.89\00:13:14.63 Now here comes an important detail. 00:13:14.83\00:13:16.49 "My oxen and fatted cattle are killed. " 00:13:16.69\00:13:20.43 At this time the oxen and fatted cattle have been killed" 00:13:20.64\00:13:24.06 and it continues saying: "and all things are ready... 00:13:24.47\00:13:28.77 come to the wedding. " 00:13:28.97\00:13:30.17 Let me ask you: what is represented in this parable 00:13:30.38\00:13:33.47 by the killing of the fatted cattle and the oxen? 00:13:33.67\00:13:37.99 What did the sacrifices in the Old Testament represent? 00:13:38.29\00:13:41.36 They represented the sacrifice of Christ. 00:13:41.46\00:13:45.30 At this point in the parable Jesus has already what? 00:13:45.60\00:13:49.35 Jesus has died! 00:13:49.55\00:13:52.26 Notice Isaiah 53 and verse 7. 00:13:52.47\00:13:54.64 So you see that the sacrifices of oxen and fatted cattle 00:13:54.84\00:13:58.87 represented the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. 00:13:59.07\00:14:01.41 It says in Isaiah 53 verse 7 speaking about Jesus: 00:14:01.71\00:14:04.96 "He was oppressed and He was afflicted 00:14:05.26\00:14:07.72 yet He opened not His mouth. " 00:14:07.93\00:14:10.63 "He was led as a lamb to the" what? 00:14:10.94\00:14:13.94 "to the slaughter. And as a sheep before its shearers 00:14:14.14\00:14:17.54 is silent, so He opened not His mouth. " 00:14:17.74\00:14:20.99 So when the parable says that the fatted cattle and the oxen 00:14:21.29\00:14:26.27 are killed or have been killed, all things are ready 00:14:26.47\00:14:29.71 it's referring to something that takes place 00:14:29.91\00:14:32.00 after the death of Christ. 00:14:32.20\00:14:33.89 Did God send additional messengers 00:14:34.19\00:14:37.90 after Jesus died on the cross? 00:14:38.10\00:14:40.48 He most certainly did according to this parable. 00:14:40.78\00:14:43.89 Now how did they react to this message 00:14:44.19\00:14:47.13 that was sent for the second time to the same group... 00:14:47.33\00:14:50.01 to the Jewish nation? 00:14:50.31\00:14:51.44 Notice verse 5: 00:14:51.74\00:14:53.20 "But they made light of it and went their ways... 00:14:53.50\00:14:58.74 one to his own farm and another to his business. " 00:14:59.04\00:15:02.59 In other words, some of them simply ignored the invitation. 00:15:02.80\00:15:06.27 But others opposed it. 00:15:06.57\00:15:08.62 It says in verse 6: 00:15:08.92\00:15:10.03 "And the rest seized his servants, 00:15:10.33\00:15:13.49 treated them spitefully, and killed them. " 00:15:13.69\00:15:17.21 This is taking place after the death of Jesus 00:15:17.51\00:15:21.07 because the fatted cattle and the oxen have been killed 00:15:21.38\00:15:24.27 at this point when the additional messengers 00:15:24.37\00:15:27.42 are sent out. 00:15:27.63\00:15:29.49 Now go with me to Matthew 23 00:15:29.70\00:15:31.66 and let's read verses 34 and 35. 00:15:31.86\00:15:34.58 Here Jesus is speaking two days before His death. 00:15:34.88\00:15:39.04 This is in the chapter that has the woes on the scribes 00:15:39.14\00:15:42.33 and the Pharisees. It's happening only two days 00:15:42.53\00:15:46.35 before the death of Jesus. 00:15:46.56\00:15:47.57 And notice what Jesus is going to say 00:15:47.78\00:15:50.17 is going to happen after His death. 00:15:50.37\00:15:51.92 It says there: 00:15:52.23\00:15:53.54 "Therefore indeed I send you" - 00:15:53.84\00:15:57.52 two days before His death - "I send you... " 00:15:57.72\00:15:59.98 what? "Prophets, 00:16:00.18\00:16:02.95 wise men, and scribes. " 00:16:03.25\00:16:06.74 So He's saying I'm going to send you what? 00:16:07.04\00:16:09.95 "I'm going to send you prophets, wise men, and scribes. " 00:16:10.15\00:16:13.79 And by the way, Luke chapter 11 and verse 49 00:16:14.09\00:16:18.45 adds that He would send apostles. 00:16:18.65\00:16:21.19 Interesting. And how would they react? 00:16:21.49\00:16:24.24 "Some of them you will" what? 00:16:24.54\00:16:26.71 "Kill and crucify. " Notice will... future. 00:16:26.91\00:16:30.37 "Some of them you will kill and crucify 00:16:30.67\00:16:33.40 and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues 00:16:33.60\00:16:37.53 and persecute from city to city. " 00:16:37.73\00:16:40.81 Let me ask you: who are the prophets that were sent 00:16:41.01\00:16:43.46 to Israel after the death of Jesus Christ? 00:16:43.67\00:16:46.38 I can mention two. 00:16:46.58\00:16:48.31 Steven... who had a vision of Jesus in heaven. 00:16:48.61\00:16:52.31 And also Silas - who in Acts 15:32 00:16:52.61\00:16:57.79 is called a prophet... 00:16:57.99\00:16:59.08 as well as others in Acts of the Apostles. 00:16:59.28\00:17:02.47 Who were the wise men that Jesus was going to send? 00:17:02.77\00:17:05.63 The seven deacons in Acts chapter 6 are called 00:17:05.93\00:17:08.80 "chose seven wise men to be deacons. " 00:17:09.00\00:17:13.04 And, of course, the word apostles applies to all 00:17:13.34\00:17:15.44 of the twelve apostles. Who were the scribes? 00:17:15.64\00:17:17.94 Well, the primary scribe was Saul of Tarsus. 00:17:18.24\00:17:21.84 The Bible says that he studied under a very famous 00:17:22.14\00:17:26.34 scribe called Gamaliel. He sat at his feet. 00:17:26.55\00:17:29.68 And so the scribe is Saul of Tarsus. 00:17:29.88\00:17:32.36 And notice that Jesus says here in Matthew 23:34: 00:17:32.56\00:17:37.11 "Therefore indeed I will send you prophets, 00:17:37.31\00:17:40.07 wise men, scribes... " and Luke adds apostles... 00:17:40.27\00:17:44.49 "Some of them you will kill and crucify. " 00:17:44.69\00:17:47.29 By the way, who was crucified? 00:17:47.32\00:17:49.78 Peter. Was James also killed? 00:17:50.08\00:17:53.00 You find the story in Acts chapter 12. 00:17:53.21\00:17:55.34 By the way, who were scourged? 00:17:55.54\00:17:58.75 Several! Peter, John, 00:17:59.05\00:18:02.50 Silas, Saul of Tarsus were scourged. 00:18:02.69\00:18:08.63 And notice it says: "And you will persecute from" where? 00:18:08.93\00:18:13.20 "from city to city. " 00:18:13.40\00:18:14.95 Let me ask you: who was it that persecuted 00:18:15.25\00:18:17.14 from city to city? 00:18:17.34\00:18:18.38 It was Saul of Tarsus until he became what? 00:18:18.68\00:18:22.54 Until he became converted. 00:18:22.84\00:18:25.20 And so this is talking about the messengers that were 00:18:25.50\00:18:27.79 sent to Israel after the death of Jesus Christ. 00:18:28.00\00:18:31.28 So notice we have moved from messengers before the death 00:18:31.59\00:18:34.85 of Jesus. We have moved in the parable to the death of Jesus. 00:18:34.95\00:18:38.27 Now we have moved to the period after the death of Jesus 00:18:38.47\00:18:41.35 when a new invitation is given to the Jewish nation 00:18:41.55\00:18:45.57 to come to the wedding of the son. 00:18:45.77\00:18:48.33 The Bible says that they rejected the message. 00:18:48.63\00:18:53.01 They rejected the messengers. 00:18:53.21\00:18:54.89 And so what happens with the king? Notice verse 7 00:18:55.09\00:18:58.50 of Matthew chapter 22: 00:18:58.80\00:19:01.56 "But when the king heard about it 00:19:01.76\00:19:05.51 he was" what? "Furious. " 00:19:05.71\00:19:09.69 What does the king represent? 00:19:09.99\00:19:11.77 The king represents God the Father. 00:19:12.07\00:19:14.80 And what did he do as a result? 00:19:15.10\00:19:17.09 "And he sent out his" what? 00:19:17.40\00:19:19.88 "He sent out his armies, 00:19:20.08\00:19:24.44 destroyed those murderers, 00:19:24.74\00:19:27.84 and burned their city. " 00:19:28.04\00:19:31.11 What event is being described in this verse? 00:19:31.41\00:19:33.50 The destruction of Jerusalem in the year 70 AD. 00:19:33.80\00:19:38.82 Let's read about it in Luke chapter 19 00:19:39.12\00:19:41.22 and verses 41 through 44. 00:19:41.42\00:19:43.74 Luke 19:41-44. 00:19:43.94\00:19:46.27 "Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it 00:19:47.36\00:19:52.09 saying: 'If you had known, 00:19:52.39\00:19:55.25 even you, especially this in your day 00:19:55.45\00:19:58.19 the things that make for your peace - but now 00:19:58.39\00:20:01.29 they are hidden from your eyes. 00:20:01.50\00:20:03.11 For days will come upon you when your enemies will build 00:20:03.41\00:20:07.25 an embankment around you, surround you and close you in 00:20:07.45\00:20:11.34 on every side and level you 00:20:11.54\00:20:13.98 and your children within you to the ground. 00:20:14.18\00:20:18.22 And they will not leave in you one stone upon another. ' " 00:20:18.43\00:20:22.53 And then the reason is given: 00:20:22.73\00:20:24.03 "Because you did not know the time of your visitation. " 00:20:24.23\00:20:29.06 Do you see the chronological sequence in this parable? 00:20:30.12\00:20:33.26 It begins with John the Baptist, the apostles, and the 70. 00:20:33.56\00:20:37.70 It continues with the death of Jesus Christ. 00:20:38.01\00:20:41.23 It continues with the additional messengers that are sent: 00:20:41.43\00:20:44.73 Paul and Peter and John and Silas among others 00:20:45.04\00:20:50.91 that present the message once again to the same group 00:20:51.11\00:20:53.62 that it was presented to first. 00:20:53.83\00:20:55.27 They reject the message, 00:20:55.57\00:20:56.81 and so then it takes us to the destruction of Jerusalem 00:20:57.11\00:21:00.07 in the year 70 AD. 00:21:00.27\00:21:02.24 So what was God going to do? 00:21:02.54\00:21:04.14 Notice what we find in verse 8. 00:21:04.44\00:21:07.28 "Then he said to his servants 00:21:07.59\00:21:10.65 'The wedding is ready, 00:21:10.68\00:21:13.18 but those who were invited... " 00:21:13.48\00:21:16.56 that is the first two times... 00:21:16.76\00:21:18.95 'those who were invited were not' what? 00:21:19.15\00:21:22.46 'were not worthy. ' " Very important word: 00:21:22.66\00:21:26.74 the word worthy. 00:21:26.94\00:21:28.80 Notice Matthew chapter 10 verses 5 and 6. 00:21:29.30\00:21:33.81 Let's take a look at that word worthy to see who the first 00:21:33.94\00:21:36.81 message was sent to. Matthew 10, 5 and 6 00:21:37.01\00:21:39.73 and then we'll jump down to verses 11 through 15. 00:21:39.93\00:21:42.70 It says in Matthew 10, 5 and 6: 00:21:43.00\00:21:45.68 "These twelve Jesus sent out 00:21:45.88\00:21:49.67 and commanded them saying: 00:21:49.87\00:21:52.06 'Do not go into the way of the Gentiles. ' " 00:21:52.36\00:21:55.47 I mentioned that word way is the word highway 00:21:55.67\00:21:58.21 in the parable. 00:21:58.41\00:21:59.65 So highway refers to the Gentiles. 00:21:59.96\00:22:02.02 "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles 00:22:02.33\00:22:04.83 and do not enter a city of the Samaritans 00:22:05.03\00:22:08.14 but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. " 00:22:08.34\00:22:11.98 To whom do the first two invitations go to? 00:22:12.28\00:22:14.70 To the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 00:22:15.00\00:22:17.48 Not the Gentiles; not the Samaritans. 00:22:17.68\00:22:20.04 Verse 11: "Now whatever city or town you enter" - 00:22:20.15\00:22:24.22 that is, in Israel - 00:22:24.42\00:22:28.13 what do they need to do? 00:22:28.33\00:22:30.30 "Inquire who in it is worthy 00:22:30.60\00:22:34.90 and stay there till you go out. 00:22:35.20\00:22:37.57 And when you go into a household greet it. 00:22:37.87\00:22:40.61 If the household is worthy" - 00:22:40.81\00:22:44.38 they're going to the lost sheep of the house of Israel - 00:22:44.68\00:22:46.52 "let your peace come upon it. 00:22:46.72\00:22:48.33 But if it is not worthy" - 00:22:48.43\00:22:50.92 in other words, if they reject the message 00:22:51.12\00:22:52.35 about the wedding of the son - 00:22:52.45\00:22:54.08 "let your peace return to you. 00:22:54.28\00:22:56.02 And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words 00:22:56.33\00:22:59.67 when you depart from that house or city 00:22:59.87\00:23:02.54 shake off the dust from your feet. 00:23:02.74\00:23:04.40 Assuredly I say to you 00:23:04.60\00:23:06.21 it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah 00:23:06.41\00:23:10.25 in the day of judgment than for that city. " 00:23:10.45\00:23:13.82 Did you notice the importance of the word worthy? 00:23:14.12\00:23:17.54 Those to whom the message that was given first 00:23:17.64\00:23:20.53 were not what? Were not worthy. 00:23:20.63\00:23:22.83 And clearly Matthew 10 says that those who were not worthy 00:23:23.03\00:23:27.00 were the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 00:23:27.20\00:23:30.67 Now let's go to verse 9 in the parable. 00:23:31.97\00:23:35.37 You know, this is kind of frustrating. 00:23:35.70\00:23:37.55 God sends out two invitations to the wedding 00:23:37.75\00:23:40.30 and nobody responds. Nobody wants to come to the wedding. 00:23:40.51\00:23:44.20 And so now He sends out another invitation. 00:23:44.50\00:23:48.39 Verse 9: 00:23:48.69\00:23:49.81 "Therefore, go into the highways. " 00:23:50.11\00:23:54.78 What does that word refer to when it says 00:23:54.98\00:23:57.98 "go into the highways? " It means go to who? 00:23:58.18\00:24:00.46 To the Gentiles. Exactly. 00:24:00.76\00:24:02.91 See, you would never know from the translation 00:24:03.01\00:24:05.02 that the word way is the same word as the word highway... 00:24:05.22\00:24:08.44 but it's very, very important. 00:24:08.74\00:24:10.13 "Therefore, go into the highways" - 00:24:10.43\00:24:12.78 which by the way is the way of the Gentiles - 00:24:12.98\00:24:14.82 "and as many as you find invite to" what? 00:24:15.02\00:24:18.85 "Invite to the wedding. " 00:24:19.15\00:24:21.08 So now the invitation of the gospel goes to whom? 00:24:21.18\00:24:24.44 It goes to the Gentiles. 00:24:24.74\00:24:26.97 It goes to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people! 00:24:27.27\00:24:31.46 By the way, has the wedding taken place at this point yet? 00:24:31.77\00:24:36.26 Does the wedding take place when the first invitation is given 00:24:36.56\00:24:39.98 by John the Baptist and by the apostles and the 70? No. 00:24:40.28\00:24:44.70 Has the wedding taken place when Jesus dies? No. 00:24:45.00\00:24:48.14 Has the wedding taken place when an additional group of servants 00:24:48.35\00:24:51.76 is sent to the Jewish nation? No. 00:24:51.97\00:24:54.32 Does the wedding take place yet while the Gentiles are being 00:24:54.62\00:24:57.98 gathered in from every nation, kindred, tongue, and people? 00:24:58.18\00:25:01.13 Absolutely not. 00:25:01.33\00:25:02.59 The wedding has not taken place yet. 00:25:02.79\00:25:05.15 Now let's go to Matthew chapter 8 verses 11 and 12 00:25:05.35\00:25:09.27 and talk a little bit more about this message that goes 00:25:09.47\00:25:13.61 to the highways. In other words, goes to the Gentiles. 00:25:13.82\00:25:17.18 Notice Jesus even during His ministry spoke about this fact. 00:25:17.48\00:25:22.32 Matthew chapter 8 verses 11 and 12: 00:25:22.62\00:25:25.37 "And I say to you that many will come from east and west" - 00:25:25.96\00:25:31.60 by the way, these are the Gentiles - 00:25:31.90\00:25:33.71 and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob 00:25:33.91\00:25:38.57 in the kingdom of heaven. 00:25:38.87\00:25:40.74 But" - notice those who were invited first - 00:25:41.05\00:25:44.76 "But the sons of the kingdom" - who would those be? - 00:25:44.96\00:25:48.61 Those to whom the first two invitations went. 00:25:48.81\00:25:51.40 "But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out 00:25:51.60\00:25:53.90 into outer darkness. 00:25:54.10\00:25:55.29 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. " 00:25:55.49\00:25:58.81 Let's go to Luke 13 verses 22 through 30. 00:25:59.11\00:26:02.52 This is the parallel passage to the one that we just read 00:26:02.72\00:26:05.47 in Matthew chapter 8. 00:26:05.67\00:26:07.12 Luke chapter 13 and verses 22 to 30. 00:26:07.42\00:26:11.01 It says here: 00:26:11.31\00:26:12.82 "And He" - that is, Jesus - "went through the cities 00:26:13.12\00:26:15.70 and villages teaching and journeying towards Jerusalem. 00:26:15.80\00:26:19.42 Then one said to Him: 'Lord, 00:26:19.72\00:26:22.00 are there few who are saved? ' 00:26:22.21\00:26:24.54 And He said to them: 'strive to enter through the narrow gate 00:26:24.84\00:26:28.21 for many, I say to you, will seek to enter 00:26:28.41\00:26:31.84 and will not be able. 00:26:32.05\00:26:33.57 When once the master of the house has risen up 00:26:33.77\00:26:36.40 and shut the door and you begin to stand outside the door 00:26:36.50\00:26:39.97 and knock saying: 'Lord, Lord, open for us' 00:26:40.17\00:26:43.78 and he will answer and say to you 00:26:43.98\00:26:47.54 'I do not know where you are from. ' " 00:26:47.74\00:26:50.36 Now who is He speaking to here? 00:26:50.66\00:26:52.87 Let's continue reading. Verse 26: 00:26:53.17\00:26:56.24 "Then you will begin to say: 'we ate and drank 00:26:56.54\00:27:01.44 in Your presence. ' " Let me ask you, who were the 00:27:01.64\00:27:03.19 ones who ate and drank in the presence of Jesus? 00:27:03.39\00:27:05.82 The Jewish nation. 00:27:06.12\00:27:08.37 "And You taught in our streets! 00:27:08.67\00:27:10.78 But He will say: 'I tell you, I do not know you... 00:27:11.08\00:27:15.73 where you are from. And depart from Me, 00:27:16.03\00:27:18.43 all you workers of iniquity. ' 00:27:18.63\00:27:19.83 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth 00:27:20.13\00:27:22.52 when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob 00:27:22.72\00:27:25.53 and all the prophets in the kingdom of God 00:27:25.73\00:27:28.26 and yourselves thrust out. " 00:27:28.46\00:27:30.53 And then He speaks about the Gentiles. 00:27:30.73\00:27:34.06 They will come from the east and the west, 00:27:34.36\00:27:36.70 from the north and the south, 00:27:36.73\00:27:38.53 and sit down in the kingdom of God. And indeed 00:27:38.74\00:27:41.79 there are last who will be first. " 00:27:41.99\00:27:44.22 To whom did the message go to last? 00:27:44.42\00:27:46.61 The Gentiles. 00:27:46.92\00:27:47.96 "And there are first who will be" what? 00:27:48.16\00:27:51.81 "Last. " Those who received the message first. 00:27:52.01\00:27:55.59 In other words, Jesus is saying that the kingdom 00:27:55.79\00:27:57.93 will be taken away from those who received the 00:27:58.13\00:28:00.39 first two invitations and it will be given to the Gentiles. 00:28:00.49\00:28:03.75 In fact, let's read about it in Matthew chapter 21 00:28:04.05\00:28:06.77 and verse 43. Matthew chapter 21 and verse 43. 00:28:06.97\00:28:12.16 Very important. It says here: 00:28:12.46\00:28:15.86 "Therefore I say to you 00:28:16.16\00:28:18.28 the kingdom of God will be" what? 00:28:18.48\00:28:22.26 "taken from you and given to a nation 00:28:22.47\00:28:26.61 bearing the fruits thereof. " 00:28:26.81\00:28:28.24 Unfortunately the word nation you would never know 00:28:28.44\00:28:31.87 that it's the word ethnos which elsewhere in the 00:28:32.07\00:28:35.19 New Testament is translated Gentiles. 00:28:35.39\00:28:37.75 In other words: "Therefore I say to you 00:28:39.27\00:28:41.08 the kingdom of God will be taken from you 00:28:41.28\00:28:42.88 and given to the Gentiles that bear the fruits of it. " 00:28:43.08\00:28:48.14 By the way, the apostle Paul was also preaching with Barnabas 00:28:48.44\00:28:51.78 and I want you to notice this in Acts 13 00:28:51.98\00:28:55.05 and verses 47 and 48. 00:28:55.25\00:28:57.42 Acts 13:47-48. 00:28:57.63\00:28:59.39 The Jews are rejecting the message and they're 00:28:59.59\00:29:03.16 giving Paul and Barnabas problems 00:29:03.36\00:29:05.39 as they're preaching the gospel. 00:29:05.59\00:29:06.96 And I want you to notice what takes place. 00:29:07.16\00:29:09.26 Acts 13 verse 47: 00:29:09.46\00:29:11.43 "Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said: 00:29:11.73\00:29:15.95 'It was necessary that the Word of God 00:29:16.25\00:29:18.81 should be spoken to you' what? 00:29:19.01\00:29:22.52 'first. ' " Interesting. 00:29:22.72\00:29:25.75 'But since you reject it and judge yourselves unworthy 00:29:26.05\00:29:31.49 of everlasting life, behold 00:29:31.69\00:29:34.05 we turn to the Gentiles. ' " 00:29:34.26\00:29:37.55 The same word where Jesus said the kingdom will be given 00:29:37.75\00:29:40.85 to a nation or to the Gentiles. 00:29:41.05\00:29:44.55 "We turn to the Gentiles 00:29:44.85\00:29:46.74 for so the Lord has commanded us: 00:29:46.77\00:29:49.56 'I have set you as a light to the Gentiles. 00:29:49.87\00:29:52.95 that you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth. ' " 00:29:53.15\00:29:57.29 So now where does the gospel invitation go to? 00:29:57.59\00:30:00.11 The gospel invitation goes to all the world. 00:30:00.41\00:30:03.65 "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached 00:30:03.95\00:30:06.20 in all the world as a witness to ALL the nations. " 00:30:06.40\00:30:10.28 The word nations once again could be translated Gentiles. 00:30:10.38\00:30:13.67 "And then the end will" what? "And then the end will come. " 00:30:13.90\00:30:18.04 And so the first two invitations were rejected... 00:30:18.44\00:30:21.80 now the message goes to the Gentiles. 00:30:22.00\00:30:23.93 It goes to the highways, so to speak. 00:30:24.23\00:30:26.64 Notice verse 10 once again... In the parable, verse 10. 00:30:26.94\00:30:30.83 It say: "So those servants 00:30:31.03\00:30:34.15 went out into the highways" - 00:30:34.35\00:30:37.89 same word that's translated way earlier in the parable - 00:30:38.09\00:30:41.18 "So those servants went out into the highways 00:30:41.39\00:30:45.23 and gathered together all whom they found: 00:30:45.43\00:30:49.59 both" - what? - "bad and good, 00:30:49.79\00:30:55.53 and the wedding hall was filled with guests. " 00:30:55.83\00:31:00.48 Question: has the wedding taken place yet? 00:31:00.78\00:31:03.44 No. 00:31:03.74\00:31:05.12 Does the wedding take place while the Gentiles 00:31:05.32\00:31:07.68 are being gathered in? 00:31:07.88\00:31:09.31 While people from every nation, kindred, tongue, and people 00:31:09.51\00:31:12.36 are being gathered into the wedding hall? 00:31:12.56\00:31:14.35 Absolutely not. The wedding has not yet taken place. 00:31:14.55\00:31:18.52 Now it's interesting to notice 00:31:18.82\00:31:20.32 a parable of Jesus that's parallel to this. 00:31:20.53\00:31:23.56 Did you notice that it says that "bad and good" were gathered? 00:31:23.86\00:31:28.44 Now notice Matthew chapter 13 00:31:28.74\00:31:31.24 and verses 47 through 50. 00:31:31.45\00:31:33.37 Matthew 13 and verses 47 through 50. 00:31:33.57\00:31:36.48 This is the parable of the dragnet. 00:31:36.78\00:31:39.83 You know they used to fish with nets not with hooks, 00:31:40.13\00:31:44.80 so this is talking about fishing with nets. 00:31:45.00\00:31:47.43 It says there in Matthew 13:47 00:31:47.63\00:31:49.81 "Again the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet 00:31:50.01\00:31:53.05 that was cast into the sea 00:31:53.25\00:31:55.30 and gathered some of every kind 00:31:55.50\00:31:59.23 which when it was full they drew to shore. 00:31:59.33\00:32:02.71 And they sat down and gathered the good 00:32:02.91\00:32:06.40 into vessels but threw the bad away. " 00:32:06.60\00:32:10.21 Interesting. 00:32:10.61\00:32:11.97 Let me ask you: what is meant by the casting of the net? 00:32:12.28\00:32:15.16 It's the preaching of the gospel. 00:32:16.42\00:32:18.07 Didn't Jesus tell His disciples 00:32:18.47\00:32:21.00 "Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men? " 00:32:21.20\00:32:23.64 So casting the net is preaching the gospel. 00:32:23.94\00:32:27.15 But when you preach the gospel 00:32:27.36\00:32:28.71 only good people respond to the gospel and come into the church 00:32:28.91\00:32:32.02 and claim to follow Jesus Christ. 00:32:32.32\00:32:34.85 Absolutely not. 00:32:35.05\00:32:36.02 There are good and bad. 00:32:36.20\00:32:37.34 How do you know who are good and who are bad? 00:32:37.54\00:32:40.34 There has to be a what? 00:32:40.64\00:32:43.83 A judgment... 00:32:44.14\00:32:46.16 to separate the good from the bad. 00:32:46.46\00:32:49.84 By the way, when I was growing up 00:32:50.14\00:32:52.33 in the country of Venezuela, 00:32:52.53\00:32:54.20 our family used to take a vacation almost every year 00:32:54.40\00:32:57.37 at a pristine island called Margarita Island. 00:32:57.57\00:33:02.69 At that time it was beautiful; 00:33:02.99\00:33:04.48 hardly anybody ever went there. 00:33:04.68\00:33:06.62 Now it's full of hotels and it's full of businesses. 00:33:06.92\00:33:09.23 And one thing that we would love to do was 00:33:09.53\00:33:12.69 real early in the morning - about 3 o'clock in the morning - 00:33:12.89\00:33:15.31 go to this beach where the fishermen were coming in 00:33:15.41\00:33:18.35 with their nets. And you had several boats cooperating 00:33:18.55\00:33:22.67 and they had this big net that covered a good share of the bay. 00:33:22.77\00:33:26.07 And they would bring in the net to the shore. 00:33:26.27\00:33:28.50 And then when they got to the shore they had 00:33:28.70\00:33:30.75 all sorts of things. They had starfish. 00:33:30.85\00:33:32.85 They had sharks. They had... you know, 00:33:33.05\00:33:35.59 catfish. They had all different kinds of fish in the net. 00:33:35.79\00:33:39.16 And they would sit down. They had baskets, 00:33:39.36\00:33:41.16 and they would separate the good fish that they were going to 00:33:41.26\00:33:43.92 take to the marketplace from the bad fish 00:33:44.02\00:33:46.55 because the net gathered all kinds of fish. 00:33:46.76\00:33:50.81 And so the gospel net - when it goes to the Gentiles - 00:33:51.04\00:33:53.36 it gathers both good and bad. 00:33:53.56\00:33:56.19 So how do you know who is good and who is bad? 00:33:56.49\00:33:59.37 Verse 11... We come to the critical part 00:33:59.68\00:34:03.09 of this parable now. 00:34:03.29\00:34:04.52 It says here: 00:34:04.82\00:34:06.70 "But when the king came in to" what? 00:34:07.00\00:34:12.70 "see the guests, 00:34:12.90\00:34:16.99 he saw a man there who did not have a wedding garment. " 00:34:18.47\00:34:24.02 Let me tell you something about that word see. 00:34:24.32\00:34:27.04 That word see in Greek, according to the Exogenical 00:34:27.34\00:34:32.05 Dictionary of the New Testament, means 00:34:32.15\00:34:34.45 to see regularly; 00:34:34.75\00:34:38.66 intensive, thorough, lingering, astonished, 00:34:38.96\00:34:44.03 reflecting, comprehending observation. 00:34:44.23\00:34:48.64 In other words He didn't just come in: "Oh, let Me take a look 00:34:48.94\00:34:51.39 here. " No. The word means that He had an intensive, 00:34:51.49\00:34:57.18 thorough, lingering, astonished, 00:34:57.38\00:34:59.68 reflective, comprehending observation. 00:34:59.88\00:35:03.07 And He finds as He examines the guests 00:35:03.37\00:35:07.70 plural... Let me ask you, are all of the guests examined? 00:35:07.90\00:35:10.71 They most certainly are. 00:35:11.01\00:35:12.46 All of the guests are examined. 00:35:12.66\00:35:14.16 And as He is examining the guests 00:35:14.46\00:35:16.43 He sees one individual that is present there 00:35:16.63\00:35:20.07 that does not have on "The Robe. " 00:35:20.27\00:35:24.42 We're studying about The Robe, right? 00:35:25.81\00:35:28.13 Now what does that robe represent? 00:35:28.43\00:35:31.94 I'd like to read a statement from Christ Object Lessons 00:35:32.24\00:35:35.22 page 310. Last night we talked about The Robe. 00:35:35.25\00:35:38.86 Actually the last two times that we met together. 00:35:39.06\00:35:41.87 We noticed that the robe represents the robe 00:35:42.17\00:35:44.70 of Christ's righteousness that covers our nakedness. 00:35:44.80\00:35:49.68 But we noticed that when we come in faith 00:35:49.98\00:35:52.95 and when repent and we confess our sin 00:35:53.15\00:35:55.46 and we are baptized, not only does Jesus credit His life to us 00:35:55.66\00:36:00.46 but our faith is a faith that changes the life. 00:36:00.66\00:36:04.24 It's a faith that works, correct? 00:36:04.44\00:36:06.42 And works show if faith is genuine or not. 00:36:06.72\00:36:10.41 Now notice Christ Object Lessons page 310. 00:36:11.52\00:36:15.07 Let me ask you: did that guy profess to have the right 00:36:35.76\00:36:37.94 to be in the wedding hall? 00:36:38.04\00:36:39.08 He sure did! 00:36:39.38\00:36:40.95 The net went out, gathered him in. 00:36:41.25\00:36:43.54 He came in, said: "I have a right to be here. " 00:36:43.74\00:36:45.72 But he didn't have what? He didn't have the robe. 00:36:45.92\00:36:48.00 She continues saying: 00:36:48.30\00:36:50.29 It's obvious that if Jesus brings His reward 00:37:17.61\00:37:21.29 that reward must have been determined before. 00:37:21.49\00:37:25.62 You know, it's common for Christians to say 00:37:25.92\00:37:28.18 "Oh, you know, we're not going to go through the judgment. 00:37:28.38\00:37:30.60 It's only unbelievers that are going to be judged. " 00:37:30.80\00:37:33.53 The fact is there's nothing clearer in the New Testament 00:37:34.03\00:37:37.94 than the fact that everyone will appear before the judgment 00:37:38.14\00:37:40.71 seat of Christ to see if they have the robe. 00:37:40.91\00:37:43.34 II Corinthians 5 verse 10 says: 00:37:43.65\00:37:45.55 "We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ 00:37:45.75\00:37:48.89 to give an account for what we have done in the body. " 00:37:49.19\00:37:52.83 In Matthew 12:34 Jesus says: "By your words you will be 00:37:53.13\00:37:56.93 justified and by your words you will be condemned. " 00:37:57.13\00:38:00.71 Words... actions. 00:38:01.01\00:38:02.72 Ecclesiastes 12 verse 14 says not only our works 00:38:02.92\00:38:06.63 but our secret things. 00:38:06.73\00:38:08.02 It says God will bring to light "every secret thing. " 00:38:08.22\00:38:10.89 Revelation 22 and verse 12 says that Jesus comes 00:38:11.19\00:38:16.08 to reward everyone according to his or her what? 00:38:16.28\00:38:20.48 Works. In other words, works reveal if we truly have 00:38:20.69\00:38:25.30 the garment of Christ's righteousness 00:38:25.50\00:38:27.35 because when we have His garment of righteousness 00:38:27.45\00:38:29.74 our life will change. 00:38:29.94\00:38:32.65 By the way, the New Testament makes it clear that everyone 00:38:33.15\00:38:36.32 who professes Christ is not a follower of Christ. 00:38:36.43\00:38:38.45 Have you ever read that passage where Jesus says: 00:38:38.65\00:38:40.78 "Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' 00:38:40.98\00:38:43.41 will enter the kingdom of heaven? " 00:38:43.61\00:38:45.21 By the way, are these Christians? 00:38:45.51\00:38:47.01 Of course. They're calling Jesus 'Lord, Lord. ' 00:38:47.11\00:38:48.97 "Many will say to Me in that day 00:38:49.27\00:38:52.46 'Lord, didn't we cast out demons in Your name? ' " 00:38:52.66\00:38:54.78 That is the name of Jesus. 00:38:55.08\00:38:56.57 "Did we not prophesy in Your name? " 00:38:56.87\00:38:58.92 "Did we not perform many miracles in Your name? " 00:38:59.12\00:39:01.16 And Jesus is going to say: "Oh, yes, come. You're Mine. " 00:39:01.46\00:39:04.05 No! He's going to say: "I never knew you. 00:39:04.35\00:39:07.49 Depart from Me you" what? 00:39:07.79\00:39:11.08 "Workers of iniquity. " 00:39:11.28\00:39:14.13 In other words, they profess Jesus but their works 00:39:14.23\00:39:16.97 deny their faith. 00:39:17.17\00:39:18.66 Have you ever read in II Corinthians 11 00:39:18.96\00:39:21.15 where the apostle Paul speaks about ministers who 00:39:21.35\00:39:23.99 disguise themselves as ministers of righteousness 00:39:24.19\00:39:28.11 when they're really ministers of unrighteousness? 00:39:28.41\00:39:31.22 Have you ever read the parable of the wheat and the tares 00:39:31.52\00:39:34.88 that are together? And they're together until the harvest. 00:39:35.18\00:39:38.32 Have you ever read the parable of the 10 virgins? 00:39:38.52\00:39:41.18 Did the 5 foolish virgins claim to be followers of Jesus? 00:39:41.48\00:39:45.38 Yes! Did they have lamps? Absolutely. 00:39:45.68\00:39:48.10 Was there SOME oil in their lamp? Absolutely! 00:39:48.30\00:39:51.65 They claimed to be followers of Jesus Christ 00:39:51.95\00:39:55.43 and yet they were counterfeit believers 00:39:55.74\00:39:58.71 because they did not have fully 00:39:58.91\00:40:01.74 the robe of Christ's righteousness... which 00:40:01.94\00:40:03.69 was revealed in their life and in their actions 00:40:03.89\00:40:07.77 and in their words and in the secret things of their hearts. 00:40:08.07\00:40:11.78 Christ Object Lessons page 310. 00:40:12.08\00:40:14.75 You ought to read the last chapter in 00:40:14.85\00:40:16.47 Christ Object Lessons. This is a spectacular chapter 00:40:16.67\00:40:19.21 where Ellen White is talking about the robe. 00:40:19.51\00:40:21.76 This is what she says: 00:40:22.16\00:40:24.17 She says in Christ Object Lessons page 312: 00:40:57.84\00:41:01.64 "Righteousness is right doing, and it is by their deeds 00:41:01.94\00:41:05.90 that all will be judged. " 00:41:06.10\00:41:07.45 Our characters are revealed by what we do! 00:41:07.65\00:41:12.26 The works show whether the faith is genuine. 00:41:12.56\00:41:16.66 Now you say: "Pastor, are you perfect? " 00:41:16.96\00:41:18.40 Far from it. 00:41:18.60\00:41:19.72 All of us have struggles with sin. 00:41:20.02\00:41:22.18 But as long as we repent and we say: "Lord, I'm struggling 00:41:22.48\00:41:24.94 with this sin; give me the victory over this sin" 00:41:25.14\00:41:27.10 and we hate sin, Jesus does not forsake us. 00:41:27.30\00:41:30.98 And He will give us the victory over sin. 00:41:31.28\00:41:33.89 Notice what Ellen White says in volume 2 of 00:41:34.19\00:41:37.17 Selected Messages page 380. 00:41:37.27\00:41:38.80 She's in perfect harmony with scripture. 00:41:38.90\00:41:40.83 We've already noticed it in the Bible. 00:41:41.13\00:41:42.98 She says: "That which God required of Adam before his fall 00:41:43.08\00:41:46.60 was perfect obedience to His law. 00:41:46.80\00:41:48.44 God requires now what He required of Adam: 00:41:48.74\00:41:51.50 perfect obedience. 00:41:51.70\00:41:53.05 Righteousness without a flaw, 00:41:53.25\00:41:55.19 without shortcoming in His sight. 00:41:55.39\00:41:57.34 God help us to render to Him all His law requires. 00:41:57.64\00:42:02.14 We cannot do this without that faith 00:42:02.34\00:42:05.79 that brings Christ's righteous- ness into daily fact. " 00:42:05.99\00:42:10.89 Powerful! 00:42:12.01\00:42:13.70 You see, the robe of Christ's righteousness 00:42:14.00\00:42:15.74 is His imputed righteousness. 00:42:15.94\00:42:18.10 But when we truly have His robe of imputed righteousness 00:42:18.30\00:42:21.78 our life will reveal it. 00:42:21.98\00:42:23.94 Because his imparted righteousness as we're going to 00:42:24.24\00:42:26.87 speak about in our next sermon together 00:42:27.07\00:42:29.07 will be revealed in our life. 00:42:29.27\00:42:32.69 And so this man is found in the wedding chamber 00:42:32.99\00:42:37.39 without a garment. Let me ask you: 00:42:37.59\00:42:39.43 is this talking about something that happens after Jesus comes? 00:42:40.35\00:42:43.44 Do you actually think that after Jesus comes, you know, 00:42:44.90\00:42:47.51 God's people are gathered in heaven 00:42:47.71\00:42:49.22 and Jesus comes and says: "How did you get in here? " 00:42:49.42\00:42:51.58 "What are you doing here? " 00:42:53.36\00:42:55.18 Of course not! When Jesus comes, He's going to take 00:42:55.48\00:42:58.75 only His faithful children home. 00:42:58.95\00:43:01.07 Which means that in the parable the examination of the guests 00:43:01.37\00:43:04.74 takes place BEFORE Jesus comes 00:43:04.94\00:43:06.77 and it takes place in heaven. 00:43:06.97\00:43:08.48 It's through an examination of the books. 00:43:08.78\00:43:11.07 You see, I'm in two places at the same times. 00:43:11.27\00:43:13.64 You say: "Have mercy... one of you is enough! " 00:43:13.84\00:43:15.52 I'm in two places. 00:43:18.43\00:43:21.50 Personally, I'm here 00:43:21.81\00:43:23.83 but in heaven I'm written in books... 00:43:24.13\00:43:26.37 God has an exact transcript of me up there. 00:43:26.57\00:43:28.76 And so in the judgment when God calls me before the judgment 00:43:29.06\00:43:31.81 seat He opens the books 00:43:32.01\00:43:34.60 which have an exact transcript of me. 00:43:34.90\00:43:37.67 And by the way, Jesus is personally in heaven 00:43:37.87\00:43:40.16 and on earth He is found in 66 books. 00:43:40.36\00:43:43.79 So I am in books where I am not personally. 00:43:44.09\00:43:47.19 And so this individual was actually in the Book of Life. 00:43:47.30\00:43:51.76 He claimed Jesus as his Savior, 00:43:52.06\00:43:54.31 but when the records of his life are examined 00:43:54.61\00:43:57.13 it showed that his faith was counterfeit. 00:43:57.34\00:44:00.83 That his repentance was not genuine. 00:44:01.13\00:44:03.00 That his confession was really crocodile tears. 00:44:03.30\00:44:06.52 Are you understanding what this parable is saying? 00:44:06.92\00:44:09.82 Does the wedding take place before all of the guests 00:44:10.12\00:44:12.91 are in the wedding chamber? 00:44:13.11\00:44:14.64 Absolutely not! By the way, the final judgment takes place 00:44:14.94\00:44:18.64 when everyone is in the wedding chamber. 00:44:18.84\00:44:20.78 Absolutely. The judgment finishes with the judgment 00:44:20.98\00:44:23.95 of the living, and then you have Jesus marrying 00:44:24.16\00:44:27.95 humanity. That's what the... that's what the wedding 00:44:28.15\00:44:31.23 represents. It's when Jesus takes over His kingdom 00:44:31.33\00:44:34.27 because His kingdom is made up... 00:44:34.47\00:44:36.28 In other words, He already knows who all of the subjects 00:44:36.59\00:44:39.28 of His kingdom are. And so now He can marry humanity 00:44:39.48\00:44:43.19 because all of His subjects have been gathered together 00:44:43.39\00:44:46.35 in the wedding hall. 00:44:46.55\00:44:47.82 Now notice what we find in verse 12. 00:44:48.12\00:44:51.21 "So He said to him: 'friend'... 00:44:52.40\00:44:56.92 Notice He doesn't say "you rascal. " 00:44:57.22\00:44:59.91 "So He said to him: 'friend'... 00:45:00.21\00:45:03.19 Did he sneak into heaven? No. 00:45:10.26\00:45:13.70 Is he on earth while this is happening? Yes. 00:45:13.94\00:45:17.04 But his records are being examined where? In heaven. 00:45:17.34\00:45:20.06 Is this an investigative judgment 00:45:20.36\00:45:22.48 before the second coming of Jesus? Absolutely 00:45:22.68\00:45:25.75 and clearly! And it's taking place in heaven. 00:45:25.95\00:45:27.95 And only when all of the guests have been examined 00:45:28.25\00:45:31.12 THEN Jesus can marry His kingdom 00:45:31.32\00:45:33.79 because His kingdom is complete. 00:45:33.99\00:45:36.64 Now how does this man respond? 00:45:39.88\00:45:41.83 "Well, Lord, the flesh is weak. " 00:45:42.23\00:45:46.06 "Well, Lord, I grew up in a bad environment. " 00:45:48.24\00:45:53.17 "Well, Lord, the world was just so attractive. " 00:45:53.37\00:45:58.63 "Well, Lord, You just don't know how powerful the devil is. " 00:45:58.93\00:46:02.90 You know, we might give excuses now 00:46:04.98\00:46:07.65 for defects and flaws in our character, but we won't then. 00:46:09.10\00:46:12.98 Romans 3:19 says: "Now we know that 00:46:14.45\00:46:17.69 whatever the law says it says to those who are under the law. " 00:46:17.79\00:46:22.30 In Christ Object Lessons page 317 Ellen White states: 00:46:31.98\00:46:35.83 "Men may now excuse their defective character... 00:46:36.03\00:46:39.60 The same book - Christ Object Lessons - page 315 and 316 00:46:44.62\00:46:48.29 she says: 00:46:48.43\00:46:49.45 What a powerful statement. 00:48:12.60\00:48:14.84 Now you say: "Are you saying, Pastor Bohr, then 00:48:16.45\00:48:18.39 that an individual can be written in the Book of Life - 00:48:18.59\00:48:21.30 that an individual can be pardoned - 00:48:21.70\00:48:24.62 and then afterwards God can revoke what He did 00:48:26.06\00:48:29.88 in the judgment? That's exactly what I'm saying. 00:48:31.41\00:48:34.08 We don't believe in once saved always saved. 00:48:34.28\00:48:37.81 Now let me give you another parable of Jesus 00:48:38.12\00:48:40.40 that illustrates this clearly and explicitly. 00:48:40.60\00:48:43.58 That an individual, if their works show 00:48:43.88\00:48:46.78 that their acceptance of Christ was a sham, 00:48:47.08\00:48:51.59 in other words, if the acceptance of Jesus 00:48:51.89\00:48:54.20 is not translated into a change of the life, 00:48:54.41\00:48:57.32 forgiveness will be revoked. 00:48:57.52\00:48:59.35 That is Biblical. 00:48:59.65\00:49:01.68 Notice Matthew chapter 18 verses 23 to 35. 00:49:01.78\00:49:06.59 Here we have the parable of the two debtors. 00:49:06.89\00:49:09.32 Ever heard of that parable? 00:49:10.88\00:49:12.68 Let's read it and then interpret it. 00:49:14.89\00:49:17.70 Matthew 18:23... 00:49:18.00\00:49:20.41 "Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king" - 00:49:20.71\00:49:24.02 that's God the Father - "who wanted to settle accounts" - 00:49:24.22\00:49:27.61 that's the judgment - " with His servants. " 00:49:27.81\00:49:30.40 That's us. 00:49:30.70\00:49:31.79 "And when He had begun to settle accounts 00:49:32.09\00:49:34.57 one was brought to Him" - 00:49:34.77\00:49:35.83 in other words, he didn't come freely, he was brought - 00:49:35.93\00:49:37.74 "who owed Him 10,000 talents. " 00:49:38.05\00:49:42.43 By the way, this is such a huge amount 00:49:42.93\00:49:45.36 that this man could have never paid it. 00:49:45.56\00:49:47.02 He couldn't have paid in 10,000 years. 00:49:47.32\00:49:49.07 It was an unpayable debt like we have an unpayable debt 00:49:49.27\00:49:52.53 before God. 00:49:52.83\00:49:54.34 Verse 25: 00:49:55.30\00:49:56.48 "But as he was not able to pay, 00:49:56.78\00:49:58.70 his master commanded that he should be sold 00:49:58.91\00:50:01.35 and his wife and children and all that he had 00:50:01.65\00:50:04.58 and that payment be made. " 00:50:04.78\00:50:07.58 Was that justice? Of course it was justice. 00:50:09.69\00:50:13.18 He owed the king this. 00:50:13.48\00:50:15.67 Verse 26: 00:50:15.97\00:50:17.76 "The servant therefore fell down before him 00:50:18.06\00:50:21.09 saying: 'Master, have patience with me 00:50:21.29\00:50:23.93 and I will pay you all. ' " 00:50:24.13\00:50:25.94 Could he really pay? Of course he couldn't. 00:50:26.24\00:50:28.59 There was no way in his lifetime or a thousand lifetimes 00:50:28.99\00:50:32.72 that he could pay this debt. 00:50:32.93\00:50:34.37 And so the king does something unbelievable. 00:50:34.77\00:50:38.00 It says in verse 27: 00:50:38.31\00:50:40.14 "Then the master of that servant was moved with" what? 00:50:40.34\00:50:43.02 "Compassion. " That's God's mercy; that's God's grace. 00:50:43.22\00:50:47.01 "And released him and forgave him that debt. " 00:50:47.41\00:50:51.50 Wow! Is that what Jesus has done with our unpayable debt? 00:50:51.81\00:50:56.13 He most certainly has. 00:50:56.43\00:50:57.66 This man appeared to be repentant. 00:50:57.96\00:50:59.88 He appeared to be sorry. 00:51:00.08\00:51:01.33 Actually confessed, and he head the willingness to pay. 00:51:01.63\00:51:05.89 And so you say: "This man was saved. 00:51:06.19\00:51:08.55 His debt was cancelled once and for all... forever. " 00:51:08.85\00:51:11.12 Ho ho... let's finish the parable. 00:51:11.43\00:51:15.14 Notice what we find in verse 28: 00:51:15.54\00:51:18.63 "But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants 00:51:18.93\00:51:24.01 who owed him 100 dinara. " 00:51:24.21\00:51:27.51 By the way, that's the equivalent of 100 days work. 00:51:28.66\00:51:31.83 It's a payable debt; it could have been done in installments. 00:51:32.03\00:51:34.99 "And he laid hands on him and took him by the throat 00:51:35.29\00:51:38.80 saying: 'pay me what you owe. ' " 00:51:39.00\00:51:41.24 Did his works show that he appreciated the forgiveness 00:51:43.12\00:51:46.16 that he received for his large debt? 00:51:46.36\00:51:47.91 "Forgive us our debts as we... " 00:51:48.21\00:51:51.08 "forgive our debtors. " If you don't forgive, 00:51:51.28\00:51:53.32 you will not be forgiven. 00:51:53.52\00:51:54.73 "So his fellow servant fell down at his feet 00:51:55.99\00:51:58.30 and begged him saying: 'Have patience with me 00:51:58.50\00:52:00.97 and I will pay you all. ' And he would not. 00:52:01.17\00:52:04.30 But he went out and threw him into prison 00:52:04.60\00:52:06.62 till he should pay the debt. " 00:52:06.82\00:52:08.62 Did he have the character of the king? 00:52:09.86\00:52:12.49 Just the opposite. 00:52:12.80\00:52:14.26 Was he truly repentant? 00:52:14.57\00:52:15.84 No, he was sorry he was going to go jail 00:52:16.15\00:52:17.42 and everything was going to be sold. 00:52:17.63\00:52:19.14 He was sorry for the consequences 00:52:19.44\00:52:21.27 but he wasn't sorry for what he had done 00:52:21.47\00:52:23.89 in stealing from his Master. 00:52:24.09\00:52:25.97 And so it says in verse 32: 00:52:26.27\00:52:28.33 "Then his Master after He had called him, said to him: 00:52:28.53\00:52:31.63 'You wicked servant. 00:52:31.94\00:52:32.94 I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. ' 00:52:33.04\00:52:37.13 Like we do when we beg for God's grace. 00:52:37.33\00:52:40.37 'Should you not also have had compassion 00:52:42.12\00:52:45.98 on your fellow servant just as I had pity on you? ' 00:52:46.18\00:52:49.24 And his Master was angry and delivered him 00:52:49.64\00:52:52.77 to the torturers until he should pay all that was due him. 00:52:52.97\00:52:56.88 So My Heavenly Father also will do to each of you 00:52:57.18\00:53:02.07 if from his heart he does not forgive his brother 00:53:02.27\00:53:07.35 his trespasses. " 00:53:07.55\00:53:09.35 Had this individual been forgiven? Yes or no? 00:53:09.65\00:53:12.47 He had been forgiven a large debt, 00:53:12.78\00:53:15.07 but when it was examined how he treated his fellow 00:53:15.27\00:53:18.58 human being, that forgiveness was what? 00:53:18.78\00:53:22.74 It was revoked. 00:53:22.94\00:53:24.76 In other words, it was his life - the way he treated 00:53:25.06\00:53:27.40 his fellow human being - that showed whether he truly 00:53:27.60\00:53:30.62 comprehended and grasped 00:53:30.82\00:53:33.03 the love and mercy of the king in forgiving his large debt. 00:53:33.23\00:53:38.82 Are you catching a picture of what's going on here? 00:53:39.32\00:53:42.14 It's the life that is examined. 00:53:42.44\00:53:44.94 Now let me explain. 00:53:45.24\00:53:46.75 It doesn't mean that our works save us 00:53:46.95\00:53:49.66 but our works show if we are saved. Amen! 00:53:49.86\00:53:52.79 We have to... our works are not meritorious 00:53:52.99\00:53:55.10 because really it's Jesus living in us. 00:53:55.31\00:53:57.22 You see, imparted righteousness is also Christ's righteousness. 00:53:57.52\00:54:00.78 It's Him living in us. 00:54:02.13\00:54:04.80 I am crucified with Christ. 00:54:05.00\00:54:06.49 I don't live but Jesus lives in me. 00:54:06.69\00:54:09.28 It is still His righteousness. 00:54:09.48\00:54:11.28 When I have His imputed righteousness 00:54:11.48\00:54:13.28 and I truly have it and I understand the large debt 00:54:13.49\00:54:16.37 that He has forgiven me, it will be a delight for me 00:54:16.47\00:54:19.19 to live as He lives and to reflect His character. 00:54:19.39\00:54:23.85 Verse 13 of the parable: 00:54:25.15\00:54:26.90 "Then the king said to the servants" - 00:54:27.30\00:54:29.73 by the way, these are the angels - 00:54:29.93\00:54:32.78 'Bind him hand and foot; 00:54:32.91\00:54:35.60 take him away. ' 00:54:36.00\00:54:37.76 That is the individual who was without a wedding garment 00:54:37.96\00:54:40.35 who was in the wedding hall - he was in the Book of Life, 00:54:40.38\00:54:45.21 he claimed to be a follower of Jesus - 00:54:45.41\00:54:47.50 But it says: 'Bind him hand and foot; take him away 00:54:47.70\00:54:52.86 and cast him into outer darkness. ' 00:54:53.16\00:54:55.83 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. " 00:54:56.13\00:54:59.87 And in Matthew 13 verse 30 - the parable of the wheat 00:55:01.12\00:55:04.03 and the tares - we're told: "Let both grow together 00:55:04.23\00:55:07.70 until the harvest. 00:55:07.90\00:55:08.98 And at the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers: - 00:55:09.18\00:55:12.18 these are the angels, by the way - 00:55:12.29\00:55:13.60 'first gather together the tares and bind them in bundles 00:55:13.63\00:55:16.51 to burn them but gather the wheat into my barn. ' " 00:55:16.71\00:55:23.08 So let me ask you, does the judgment take place 00:55:23.48\00:55:25.99 before the second coming of Jesus? 00:55:26.19\00:55:27.58 Yes or no. Yes! 00:55:28.79\00:55:30.48 Does it take place in heaven? Yes. 00:55:30.78\00:55:32.62 Is everyone examined? Yes. 00:55:32.75\00:55:35.20 What is it that is examined? 00:55:35.30\00:55:36.93 Whether you have what? The robe. 00:55:37.06\00:55:39.46 And the robe is Christ's imputed righteousness 00:55:39.77\00:55:42.79 that is revealed in our what? 00:55:42.99\00:55:44.95 That is revealed in our character that is revealed 00:55:45.15\00:55:48.27 in our life. And I praise God 00:55:48.47\00:55:51.27 that there's going to be a people. 00:55:51.47\00:55:54.24 Because Jesus says: "For many are called 00:55:54.44\00:55:56.91 but few are" what? "Chosen. " 00:55:57.11\00:55:59.46 Let's go to Revelation chapter 17 and verse 14 00:55:59.77\00:56:02.76 as we draw this to a close. 00:56:02.96\00:56:04.26 Revelation 17 verse 14 00:56:04.46\00:56:06.10 speaking about the wicked that will try and slay 00:56:06.31\00:56:08.80 God's people. I want you to notice that there are some 00:56:09.00\00:56:11.07 that will be with Jesus, 00:56:11.27\00:56:12.35 that will have accepted this invitation. 00:56:12.55\00:56:14.30 It says: "These will make war with the Lamb. " 00:56:14.50\00:56:17.46 These are the kings of the earth at the end of time. 00:56:17.66\00:56:19.70 "And the Lamb will overcome them for He is Lord of Lords 00:56:19.90\00:56:23.72 and King of Kings. And those who are with Him" - 00:56:23.92\00:56:27.52 that is, with Jesus - 00:56:27.62\00:56:28.73 "are called, chosen, and faithful. " 00:56:28.84\00:56:33.83 Not only chosen. 00:56:34.03\00:56:35.78 "Called, chosen," and they prove to be what? 00:56:35.98\00:56:40.32 They prove to be faithful to Jesus Christ. 00:56:40.52\00:56:43.70 So is the Seventh-day Adventist church wrong when it says 00:56:44.88\00:56:48.15 that the judgment takes place, 00:56:48.35\00:56:49.47 that there's an investigative judgment 00:56:49.67\00:56:50.90 before the second coming of Jesus? 00:56:50.93\00:56:52.99 In fact, yesterday was October 22. 00:56:53.19\00:56:55.62 We were celebrating the 166th anniversary of 00:56:55.82\00:56:59.85 the beginning of the judgment that we talked about 00:57:00.05\00:57:02.03 this morning. Jesus Himself taught it. 00:57:02.23\00:57:05.25 It's not only in Daniel 8:14 00:57:05.55\00:57:08.24 and Revelation chapter 14:6-7. 00:57:08.54\00:57:10.51 It's found from the very lips of Jesus. 00:57:10.71\00:57:13.44 And I pray to God that all of us 00:57:13.74\00:57:16.70 will have that experience of first of all receiving 00:57:16.90\00:57:20.74 Christ's imputed righteousness. 00:57:20.84\00:57:24.40 Truly. And that that will be manifested 00:57:24.70\00:57:28.20 through a life like His. 00:57:28.40\00:57:31.54
