The escalation of global terrorism, crime, immorality 00:00:09.04\00:00:12.54 and natural disasters, seems to indicate our world 00:00:12.57\00:00:15.22 is spiraling towards its ultimate hour with destiny. 00:00:15.25\00:00:18.28 Who, if anyone, will survive Earth's final events? 00:00:18.31\00:00:21.32 Discover what Bible prophecy reveals about the rapture, 00:00:21.35\00:00:24.18 the mark of the beast, and Armageddon. 00:00:24.21\00:00:26.56 Though shrouded in mystery for centuries, 00:00:26.59\00:00:28.52 the book of Revelation can be understood today. 00:00:28.55\00:00:32.35 Peer into the future, and see what wonderful things 00:00:32.38\00:00:35.12 God has planned for His people. 00:00:35.15\00:00:38.09 And now, Pastor Brian McMahon presents the powerful 00:00:38.12\00:00:41.15 Bible seminar "Revelation Speaks Hope". 00:00:41.18\00:00:45.71 Our subject for this evening is: [text on screen] 00:00:46.76\00:00:50.27 The dictionary of Christianity in America says that the US 00:00:51.61\00:00:56.01 is currently the home of more than 1500 different kinds 00:00:56.04\00:01:01.10 of churches, denominations, religious societies. 00:01:01.13\00:01:04.78 There are literally thousands of different kinds of churches. 00:01:04.81\00:01:08.56 With all the different churches in the land, and with each 00:01:08.59\00:01:11.59 church door open, with each church pastor saying 00:01:11.62\00:01:15.02 "This is the way, come follow us", certainly you can see 00:01:15.05\00:01:18.60 why the average person might be confused. 00:01:18.63\00:01:21.32 In the book of Acts 2:47 we read these words, it says 00:01:21.35\00:01:26.23 [text on screen] 00:01:26.26\00:01:28.69 So people can see when a person is baptized, the Lord wants 00:01:34.24\00:01:37.57 to add you to the church, but the question is: what church? 00:01:37.60\00:01:41.79 With all these different array of churches, with all these 00:01:41.82\00:01:44.57 different kinds of structures, different creeds, different 00:01:44.60\00:01:47.87 teachings, different doctrines per se, a person will wonder: 00:01:47.90\00:01:51.94 how in the world can anyone every figure out where to go 00:01:51.97\00:01:55.62 and worship? What is the most sought after 00:01:55.65\00:01:58.32 secret in the Bible? It is simply this: 00:01:58.35\00:02:01.01 of all the different churches in the land, what church would 00:02:01.04\00:02:04.76 Jesus join if He was to come to this city tonight? 00:02:04.79\00:02:07.61 According to Time Magazine, religions are absolutely 00:02:07.64\00:02:10.89 exploding in this country. One particular article 00:02:10.92\00:02:14.69 said this: [text on screen] 00:02:14.72\00:02:17.02 Those are some interesting names, aren't they? 00:02:37.89\00:02:40.65 Again, the average person is very confused about where 00:02:40.68\00:02:43.48 to go, and they give all kinds of reasons as to why 00:02:43.51\00:02:46.14 they go there. You see the different names 00:02:46.17\00:02:48.69 that are out there, you see them in the phone book, 00:02:48.72\00:02:51.20 and a person looks in the phone book and they say: 00:02:51.23\00:02:54.00 "My, it's an absolute crazy variety of choices." 00:02:54.03\00:02:56.50 Some people have told me that they, when they want to go 00:02:56.53\00:02:59.37 to church they open up the phone book, close their eyes 00:02:59.40\00:03:02.04 and put their finger down and when they open up their eyes, 00:03:02.07\00:03:04.80 whatever their finger's pointing to, that's where they're 00:03:04.83\00:03:07.53 going to go. Why do we go to church 00:03:07.56\00:03:10.11 in a particular place? Look at 1 Timothy 3:15, 00:03:10.14\00:03:13.07 it says this: [text on screen] 00:03:13.10\00:03:15.72 We don't go there because of how eloquent the pastor preaches, 00:03:28.32\00:03:31.46 we go there because we believe that the truth of God 00:03:31.49\00:03:34.56 is found in the word of God, and we have found a group 00:03:34.59\00:03:37.41 of people, men, and women and young people who are 00:03:37.44\00:03:40.24 teaching according to the word of God. 00:03:40.27\00:03:43.68 Listen to me carefully, those of you who are parents can 00:03:43.71\00:03:46.24 especially relate to what I'm about to share. 00:03:46.27\00:03:48.63 If your child came home from school one day and said 00:03:48.66\00:03:52.46 "Mom, Dad, I sure learned a lot in class today", 00:03:52.49\00:03:55.55 and you say "Well, tell me about it", and so your child 00:03:55.58\00:03:58.14 says "Well, I learned that 2+2 is 5, and I learned" 00:03:58.17\00:04:02.29 "that the capital of France is London, and the capital" 00:04:02.32\00:04:06.00 "of England is Paris." Wouldn't you kind of look 00:04:06.03\00:04:10.74 side ways and say "Now hang on a minute here," 00:04:10.77\00:04:14.72 "I don't think I want you being taught those things." 00:04:14.75\00:04:17.81 "I don't think I want you learning falsehood." 00:04:17.84\00:04:22.94 I think that you'd have a very clear talk with that school 00:04:22.97\00:04:25.83 and if they didn't straighten out the situation, you would 00:04:25.86\00:04:28.65 be gone from there and your children would be gone 00:04:28.68\00:04:31.34 from there. You know that that is true, 00:04:31.37\00:04:33.79 parents would not stand for a moment for their children 00:04:33.82\00:04:36.29 to be taught falsehood in school, that's the secular 00:04:36.32\00:04:40.15 sense, why is it that people are so content to often 00:04:40.18\00:04:43.50 being taught things that they know are false in the spiritual 00:04:43.53\00:04:46.38 sense, and it's in the spiritual sense that we should be 00:04:46.41\00:04:49.10 more concerned about because that concerns our eternal life. 00:04:49.13\00:04:52.24 So I hope we can easily see that there are good reasons 00:04:52.27\00:04:57.72 why we should be carefully considering the church 00:04:57.75\00:05:00.27 that we go to. Sometimes people will say 00:05:00.30\00:05:02.99 "Oh well, it doesn't really matter, you can make" 00:05:03.02\00:05:05.91 "the Bible say anything you want it to say." 00:05:05.94\00:05:08.43 Have you ever heard that one? 00:05:08.46\00:05:11.06 You might have even said it yourself, I don't know, 00:05:11.09\00:05:13.86 it's a tempting thing to do because a lot of people 00:05:13.89\00:05:16.60 say that "Well, you can make the Bible say anything you want" 00:05:16.63\00:05:19.51 "to say", friends, let me tell you something, 00:05:19.54\00:05:22.10 the Bible scholar knows that the Bible does not contradict 00:05:22.13\00:05:24.68 itself, and it is not that the Bible is confusing, it is only 00:05:24.71\00:05:27.20 when people take things out of context and twist the Bible 00:05:27.23\00:05:29.87 that you can make it appear to say contradictory things. 00:05:29.90\00:05:32.40 No one is going to appear in the judgment before 00:05:32.43\00:05:35.18 the Most High God, and when they're answering before, 00:05:35.21\00:05:37.85 why they did things, say to God "Well, you can make" 00:05:37.88\00:05:40.54 "the Bible say anything you want it to say." 00:05:40.57\00:05:43.04 Well, Jesus has an answer for that in John 8:32, 00:05:43.07\00:05:45.88 and here it says in the words of Jesus: [text on screen] 00:05:45.91\00:05:49.97 So can you know the truth according to the words 00:05:53.65\00:05:56.38 of Jesus Christ? Yes you can. 00:05:56.41\00:05:58.94 I don't want any "maybe"s to hang my eternal life on, 00:05:58.97\00:06:02.77 I don't any "I guess so"s, I don't want any "perhaps"s, 00:06:02.80\00:06:07.10 I want to know the truth so the truth can set me free. 00:06:07.13\00:06:11.80 Dear friends, error is enslaving, and that's why 00:06:11.85\00:06:15.88 we need to know truth so the truth can set us free. 00:06:15.91\00:06:19.12 Free from what? Free from the deceptions 00:06:19.15\00:06:21.92 and the sins that come from the evil one. 00:06:21.95\00:06:24.37 John 7:17 is our text now, the Bible says this: 00:06:24.40\00:06:29.29 "If any man" - that means "if any person", [text on screen] 00:06:29.32\00:06:33.53 Doctrine there means "teaching", [continues to read text] 00:06:35.85\00:06:39.79 Jesus is saying if any person will do His will, that's 00:06:40.26\00:06:43.41 the key point, this is the crucial point. 00:06:43.44\00:06:47.08 If a person is willing to do the will of God, Jesus says you 00:06:47.11\00:06:50.79 will know what teaching is true, and of course, that means 00:06:50.82\00:06:54.03 what teaching is not true. Why? Because they have 00:06:54.06\00:06:57.46 a teachable mind, but what Jesus is saying is you will 00:06:57.49\00:07:02.27 know the truth if you are willing to practice the truth, 00:07:02.30\00:07:06.85 and if you are willing to practice the truth you are 00:07:06.88\00:07:09.56 going to know what is right and what is not right. 00:07:09.59\00:07:12.28 In other words, the Christian with an open heart says 00:07:12.31\00:07:14.72 "God, I am willing to make the necessary changes in my life." 00:07:14.75\00:07:19.42 If we're not willing to make the necessary changes, if we insist 00:07:19.45\00:07:22.47 on having things the way they always were, our minds 00:07:22.50\00:07:25.44 will rationalize away the truth and we'll walk away from it. 00:07:25.47\00:07:29.87 Why? Well, because as they say, 00:07:29.90\00:07:32.53 there are hooks to hang your doubts on if you're looking 00:07:32.56\00:07:34.80 for them. God has given us all the truth 00:07:34.83\00:07:38.63 that we need if we want to believe, but if we don't want 00:07:38.66\00:07:41.45 to believe, the Devil is always there to supply the doubt. 00:07:41.48\00:07:46.46 One of the biggest problems that we have is that so many 00:07:46.49\00:07:48.91 people do not love the truth when God brings the truth. 00:07:48.94\00:07:52.66 In 2 Thessalonians 2 the Bible says that many people 00:07:52.69\00:07:56.02 will be lost because they did not receive the love of 00:07:56.05\00:07:58.41 the truth that they might be saved. 00:07:58.44\00:08:01.25 Friends, it's important that when God shows His truth 00:08:01.28\00:08:03.64 we say "Lord, change my heart". 00:08:03.67\00:08:07.15 One of the biggest problems we have in the Christian world 00:08:07.18\00:08:09.18 is what I call the "God says, but I think" syndrome. 00:08:09.21\00:08:13.19 You see, there are 2 groups in the Bible, and the Bible 00:08:13.22\00:08:16.30 describes them in many ways: the saved and the lost, 00:08:16.33\00:08:19.04 truth and error, broad road, narrow road, and these kinds 00:08:19.07\00:08:21.85 of ways, there's another way that the Bible describes 00:08:21.88\00:08:24.55 these 2 groups and that is sheep and goats. 00:08:24.58\00:08:27.01 Sheep are known for following the master, aren't they? 00:08:27.04\00:08:29.57 The master leads, the shepherd leads and the sheep follow; 00:08:29.60\00:08:32.44 Jesus is the Good Shepherd. What are goats known for? 00:08:32.47\00:08:35.07 Aren't goats always known for butting? 00:08:35.10\00:08:38.59 It's a rebellious kind of symbol because they're 00:08:38.62\00:08:41.21 always butting, butting against the flow. 00:08:41.24\00:08:43.71 When people say "I know what the Bible say, but...", 00:08:43.74\00:08:47.53 that's the "God says, but I think" syndrome. 00:08:47.56\00:08:50.28 "I know what the day of worship in Scripture is, but I'm" 00:08:50.31\00:08:53.38 "more comfortable doing what I've been doing." 00:08:53.41\00:08:56.30 "I know that alcohol is destroying my relationship" 00:08:56.33\00:08:59.30 "with God, but I want to do it anyway." 00:08:59.33\00:09:02.00 Now, there is an eternal principle that I want to share 00:09:02.03\00:09:04.26 with you, and that is that: [text on screen] 00:09:04.29\00:09:07.84 Someone will always say "Wait a minute pastor, are you saying" 00:09:14.26\00:09:17.34 "that you have to find a particular church?" 00:09:17.37\00:09:20.06 "Isn't God's church some kind of invisible body?" 00:09:20.09\00:09:22.87 Well friends, I'm going to share with you what it says. 00:09:22.90\00:09:25.68 Ephesians 4:4,5, here Scripture says: [text on screen] 00:09:25.71\00:09:32.71 "One Lord, 900 Faiths, and one baptism." 00:09:40.10\00:09:44.30 - [Audience] One. - Oh, I'm so glad you corrected 00:09:44.33\00:09:46.89 me there. How many faiths does it say? 00:09:46.92\00:09:49.63 One faith, and that's Biblical faith, that's why we want 00:09:49.66\00:09:52.33 to make sure we find out the right faith. 00:09:52.36\00:09:55.01 In the Bible Paul makes an analogy in 1 Corinthians, 00:09:55.04\00:09:58.00 he says just as the human body has a brain, and a mind, 00:09:58.03\00:10:01.70 and gives signals to the church, Jesus is the head, 00:10:01.73\00:10:05.90 and all the other parts make up the body, the various members, 00:10:05.93\00:10:09.59 so we find that the human body has the head and it has 00:10:09.62\00:10:13.96 the various parts to it. Now, friends I want to really 00:10:13.99\00:10:17.76 help you to think, if the brain gives mixed signals 00:10:17.79\00:10:22.09 to the body, the body's in trouble, isn't it? 00:10:22.12\00:10:25.00 The brain can't the right leg to go right and at the same time 00:10:25.03\00:10:27.70 as telling the left leg to go left, it can't do that. 00:10:27.73\00:10:31.61 It's got to give simple, consistent, clear messages 00:10:31.64\00:10:35.14 or the body is not going to function right. 00:10:35.17\00:10:37.45 Now, is the Holy Spirit going to say to this church 00:10:37.48\00:10:40.08 over here: Listen, you go to church on Sunday and you" 00:10:40.11\00:10:42.67 "believe one thing on death, and you believe the hell fire" 00:10:42.70\00:10:45.23 "is for eternity, and you believe one thing on the gifts" 00:10:45.26\00:10:47.81 "of the Spirit", and then turn around and say to this church 00:10:47.84\00:10:50.52 over here "Now you believe everyday is holy, and it" 00:10:50.55\00:10:53.16 "doesn't matter what day you go to church, and you believe" 00:10:53.19\00:10:56.01 "another thing on the gifts of the Spirit, and you believe" 00:10:56.04\00:10:58.78 "another thing on end time events, and you believe" 00:10:58.81\00:11:01.48 "something else on the Antichrist", and then turn 00:11:01.51\00:11:04.10 to this church over here and say "Now you go on the Bible day" 00:11:04.13\00:11:06.95 "because that's right too, and you believe in a certain" 00:11:06.98\00:11:09.50 "thing on death...", is God the author of confusion? 00:11:09.53\00:11:12.13 [Audience] No. Friends, you can't lay that 00:11:12.16\00:11:14.89 at the feet of the Holy Spirit. If God has a church 00:11:14.92\00:11:17.58 how can we find it? I want quick to say tonight 00:11:17.61\00:11:20.21 that God has wonderful sincere people in all different kinds 00:11:20.24\00:11:23.03 of churches and backgrounds. There are wonderful Methodist 00:11:23.06\00:11:25.68 Christians, and wonderful Baptist Christians, 00:11:25.71\00:11:28.19 and wonderful Lutheran Christians, and there are 00:11:28.22\00:11:30.90 wonderful Presbyterian Christians, but just because 00:11:30.93\00:11:33.58 these churches have many sincere people that worship God and 00:11:33.61\00:11:35.88 serve Jesus Christ as best they know, it doesn't mean that God 00:11:35.91\00:11:38.78 approves of everything they do, it doesn't mean that God 00:11:38.81\00:11:41.35 approves of everything their church teaches, it just means 00:11:41.38\00:11:44.62 that these are truly God's sheep and God honors what they do 00:11:44.65\00:11:48.42 when they don't have any knowledge other than that. 00:11:48.45\00:11:51.14 But nevertheless, God has always desired to bring people 00:11:51.17\00:11:54.62 from a position of lack of understanding, to a position 00:11:54.65\00:11:58.06 of understanding. For example: 00:11:58.09\00:12:01.20 in the New Testament we find the story of Philip and the Eunuch, 00:12:01.23\00:12:07.12 one of my favorite stories. Here is a man, he has a deep 00:12:07.15\00:12:10.26 desire in his heart for religion and he's crossing back from 00:12:10.29\00:12:13.30 Jerusalem to his home land, he has a desire to worship God, 00:12:13.33\00:12:17.29 but he lacks understanding. Does God let him just go back 00:12:17.32\00:12:19.72 to his home land without any understanding and saying 00:12:19.75\00:12:21.77 "Well, he's going to make it anyway"? No. 00:12:21.80\00:12:23.93 What does God do? He takes the time to send Philip 00:12:23.96\00:12:27.10 all the way out into the dessert to reach that one man 00:12:27.13\00:12:30.48 and teach him more about Jesus. We have the story of Cornelius, 00:12:30.51\00:12:35.23 here again, he's a gentile man, but he has a sincere desire 00:12:35.26\00:12:37.69 in his heart to serve, and God, and I'm sure he loves God 00:12:37.72\00:12:40.23 in his own way, does God leave him like that? 00:12:40.26\00:12:43.08 No, God sends Peter over to his house that he can instruct 00:12:43.11\00:12:45.74 him more faithfully in the way of truth. 00:12:45.77\00:12:48.33 So it is always God's desire to take people who are sincere 00:12:48.36\00:12:52.78 and who do love him, and lead them to a visible group, 00:12:52.81\00:12:55.95 in other words, take them from the so called 00:12:55.98\00:12:58.43 "invisible church" and lead them to the visible church that can 00:12:58.46\00:13:00.61 better lead them in the way of salvation. 00:13:00.64\00:13:03.69 This has always been the way of God. 00:13:03.72\00:13:05.80 We go back into the Old Testament times, God has had 00:13:05.83\00:13:08.71 people that are faithful to Him and desire to serve Him, 00:13:08.74\00:13:11.45 we go all the way back to the days of Noah. 00:13:11.48\00:13:14.22 Back in the days of Noah was a man of faith, Noah was a man 00:13:14.25\00:13:16.93 of obedience, Noah was a man of allegiance to heaven. 00:13:16.96\00:13:20.37 Turn with me to Genesis 26, we're going to do a little 00:13:20.40\00:13:23.76 bit of a history lesson here. Genesis 26:5, what made 00:13:23.79\00:13:28.31 Abraham a special leader for God? The answer comes 00:13:28.34\00:13:31.24 in verse 5: [text on screen] 00:13:31.27\00:13:33.78 God called Abraham and Abraham was obedient, he was loyal, 00:13:41.49\00:13:45.37 he was faithful, he was obedient to what God asked him to do. 00:13:45.40\00:13:49.15 Therefore, he became the father of the nation of Israel. 00:13:49.18\00:13:53.50 Okay, that was back in the days of Abraham. 00:13:53.53\00:13:56.15 Abraham, of course, was the father of this nation, 00:13:56.18\00:13:59.11 and Israel was the result of it, but remember now, Israel 00:13:59.14\00:14:02.26 started off wanting to serve the Lord, let's go to the book 00:14:02.29\00:14:06.34 of Deuteronomy. The book of Deuteronomy 7:6. 00:14:06.37\00:14:13.47 God called Abraham, but Abraham was only 1 person, he certainly 00:14:13.50\00:14:18.07 was 1 out of a lot of people that did not want to serve God, 00:14:18.10\00:14:21.90 but God desired more than could serve him, so Deuteronomy 7:6, 00:14:21.93\00:14:28.21 speaking of Israel it says: [text on screen] 00:14:28.24\00:14:31.40 Do you remember how I've been saying to you all these nights 00:14:58.80\00:15:01.56 that these 2 things go together, love and obedience, and that 00:15:01.59\00:15:04.48 we would see it a number of times, and we have; 00:15:04.51\00:15:06.99 we saw in the book of Exodus, we've seen it in other books 00:15:07.02\00:15:09.71 of the Bible that God says "I keep covenant", that means 00:15:09.74\00:15:12.70 "I am in a special relationship with those that love Me enough" 00:15:12.73\00:15:15.88 "to keep My commandments", that's John 14:15. 00:15:15.91\00:15:18.86 So here we see it again. What made Israel God's people? 00:15:18.89\00:15:23.17 It wasn't their size, He says "You were the smallest group," 00:15:23.20\00:15:26.42 "but I chose you anyway because I keep covenant with those" 00:15:26.45\00:15:29.70 "that want to love Me and obey Me." 00:15:29.73\00:15:32.58 So here you look at what happened to Israel, 00:15:32.61\00:15:35.14 now Israel, they had their moments of obedience, but 00:15:35.17\00:15:37.93 they drifted off, they started to rebel, they started to break 00:15:37.96\00:15:41.04 God's commandments, and eventually things got to 00:15:41.07\00:15:43.82 the point where He allowed them to go into Babylonian captivity. 00:15:43.85\00:15:46.90 But even though they were there some 70 years, eventually 00:15:46.93\00:15:50.65 He drew back out a people that did want to love and serve Him. 00:15:50.68\00:15:53.85 Let's go look at the book of Haggai 1:12: [text on screen] 00:15:53.88\00:15:59.77 "remnant" - this is a new word for us, we're going 00:16:06.79\00:16:09.33 to see it again, "...obeyed the voice of" 00:16:09.36\00:16:13.01 "the Lord their God" [text on screen] 00:16:13.04\00:16:15.73 So here is that group that has come out of Babylonian 00:16:20.83\00:16:23.45 captivity, it's not the larger group, the larger group 00:16:23.48\00:16:25.99 stayed behind in Babylon, but it is a group, nevertheless, 00:16:26.02\00:16:28.58 that feared the Lord, and it says that they obeyed the voice 00:16:28.61\00:16:31.39 of the Lord their God. So again, we've got a group 00:16:31.42\00:16:34.09 that wants to be loyal. We have a group here that wants 00:16:34.12\00:16:36.84 to be faithful, and God coins a term for that group 00:16:36.87\00:16:39.39 and that term is "remnant", now keep that in mind as we 00:16:39.42\00:16:42.78 go through the rest of this study tonight. 00:16:42.81\00:16:45.19 Now, you know the story, Israel continued to drift 00:16:45.22\00:16:47.91 away from God, things got awfully dark, spiritually 00:16:47.94\00:16:51.19 speaking, and finally God sent Jesus into the world. 00:16:51.22\00:16:54.85 In the days of Jesus, though the vast majority did reject Him, 00:16:54.88\00:16:59.09 still, did God have some that could be influenced for right? 00:16:59.12\00:17:03.32 Some that did want to obey what was right? 00:17:03.35\00:17:06.14 Let's go back into the New Testament again, let's go 00:17:06.17\00:17:09.04 to Romans this time, Romans 11:4,5 says this: 00:17:09.07\00:17:12.12 [text on screen] 00:17:12.15\00:17:14.15 That's referring back to the days of Elijah, then Paul says: 00:17:20.16\00:17:23.83 [text on screen] 00:17:23.86\00:17:26.07 There's a remnant, in other words there still is a group, 00:17:31.44\00:17:35.25 not the biggest group, not the most popular group, but there is 00:17:35.28\00:17:39.67 a group that will not serve the idols of the pagans, 00:17:39.70\00:17:44.13 they want to do what's right. The word "remnant" is 00:17:44.16\00:17:46.56 an interesting word, it comes from our English word "remain", 00:17:46.59\00:17:50.06 [text on screen] 00:17:50.09\00:17:52.05 So what we're looking at here is that down through the ages 00:17:52.80\00:17:56.65 God has had a group of people, the visible group may not 00:17:56.68\00:18:01.40 be necessarily the faithful group, it may not be 00:18:01.43\00:18:07.43 necessarily the group that God is the one that's leading, 00:18:07.46\00:18:12.37 but God will have a people throughout history that do 00:18:12.40\00:18:15.93 desire to serve Him. If God had a remnant 00:18:15.96\00:18:19.27 in the Old Testament times, if God had a remnant in the days 00:18:19.30\00:18:22.48 of Abraham, if God had a remnant in the days of Deuteronomy, 00:18:22.51\00:18:26.00 if God had a remnant in the days of Haggai, if God had 00:18:26.03\00:18:29.06 a remnant in the days of the apostle Paul, wouldn't God 00:18:29.09\00:18:32.19 have a remnant down at the end of time before Jesus returns? 00:18:32.22\00:18:35.84 If you could think of 1 book of the Bible that would describe 00:18:35.87\00:18:39.08 that group, what book of the Bible would that be? 00:18:39.11\00:18:41.67 If you could just take a guess that would describe God's 00:18:41.70\00:18:44.68 last day people, it would probably be the book of what? 00:18:44.71\00:18:48.96 Revelation, that's right. Let's turn there, 00:18:48.99\00:18:51.78 Revelation 12:6, it says: "And the woman fled into" 00:18:51.81\00:18:54.86 "the wilderness where she has a place prepared of God," 00:18:54.89\00:18:58.51 "that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred" 00:18:58.54\00:19:02.65 "and three score days", now in Bible prophecy 1 prophetic 00:19:02.68\00:19:05.32 day equals 1 literal year. So we're looking at the woman 00:19:05.35\00:19:09.28 fleeing for 1260 years, and we recognize that is the time 00:19:09.31\00:19:13.38 of the Papal reign from 538-1798. 00:19:13.41\00:19:18.37 Now listen to me closely, the church of God during 00:19:18.40\00:19:22.09 the wilderness time was not the highly visible church, it was 00:19:22.12\00:19:27.15 in obscurity, the church was in hiding, faithful men 00:19:27.18\00:19:32.13 and faithful women wanted to keep the lamp of truth burning 00:19:32.16\00:19:36.62 and they had to go underground to do that. 00:19:36.65\00:19:39.23 In the 3rd and the 4th centuries church and state 00:19:39.26\00:19:41.94 started to unite, and as church and state started to unite 00:19:41.97\00:19:45.93 compromise came in, and the real Christians, the ones that 00:19:45.96\00:19:50.18 really wanted to follow God had to cling tightly to what 00:19:50.21\00:19:54.29 they had been taught in Scripture. 00:19:54.32\00:19:56.54 In the book of Jude 3 we read this: [text on screen] 00:19:56.57\00:20:00.39 How did these faithful Christians do that? 00:20:13.44\00:20:16.11 They went into hiding by fleeing up into remote villages, 00:20:16.14\00:20:19.77 some of you may have actually gone on trips that show 00:20:19.80\00:20:21.82 these sorts of things, and they fled up into the Italian 00:20:21.85\00:20:24.42 mountains, the French Alps, and there they built little 00:20:24.45\00:20:27.98 communities, communities of faithful men, and women, 00:20:28.01\00:20:31.30 and young people where they could serve God according 00:20:31.33\00:20:33.67 to their own consciences. This next slide, this next 00:20:33.70\00:20:36.70 picture shows you, not a dining room table where people sat 00:20:36.73\00:20:39.63 around and ate, but this is what was called a Bible 00:20:39.66\00:20:42.14 copyist's table. On tables like these, you can 00:20:42.17\00:20:45.45 actually go on tours and go into these dwellings, these 00:20:45.48\00:20:48.40 ancient dwellings, and here they wrote out Scripture, 00:20:48.43\00:20:51.58 they faithfully memorized Scripture, they copied Scripture 00:20:51.61\00:20:55.17 by hand and memorized it until they could repeat it from father 00:20:55.20\00:20:57.95 to son, and father to son, down through time. 00:20:57.98\00:21:00.23 This next one shows us an actual Bible that was written out 00:21:00.26\00:21:04.52 by one of these faithful believers so many years ago. 00:21:04.55\00:21:07.83 All the time that they were doing this, they were persecuted 00:21:07.86\00:21:10.47 for their faith, they had to stand true, the woman, 00:21:10.50\00:21:13.73 as Revelation says, was in hiding, she was 00:21:13.76\00:21:17.46 in the wilderness, and we know that wilderness period of time 00:21:17.49\00:21:20.92 was 538-1798, but eventually that wilderness period was going 00:21:20.95\00:21:26.26 to end, how did it end? We know that Napoleon sent 00:21:26.29\00:21:29.56 his general Berthier down into the Vatican, and there the Pope 00:21:29.59\00:21:32.44 was taken captive, and the wilderness period eventually 00:21:32.47\00:21:35.49 ended. Look with me at Revelation 12:17. 00:21:35.52\00:21:42.23 During the Old Testament times, before we read this verse 00:21:42.26\00:21:45.95 I want to tell you an interesting thing that you may 00:21:45.98\00:21:49.68 or may not have seen from Scripture, I don't know. 00:21:49.71\00:21:52.30 In the Old Testament times queen Jezebel was a wicked 00:21:52.33\00:21:56.56 queen, she was ruling over Israel, and God's professed 00:21:56.59\00:22:02.91 people were under this kind of persecution. 00:22:02.94\00:22:07.93 Elijah, who was a true worshipper of God, 00:22:07.96\00:22:11.92 fled into the wilderness for 3 and a half literal years. 00:22:11.95\00:22:17.77 During the time that he was in the wilderness there was 00:22:17.80\00:22:20.14 a great famine, there was a great drought, and all the time 00:22:20.17\00:22:26.00 that this woman was reigning, this was going on, 00:22:26.03\00:22:29.44 and the true man of God was in hiding, or obscurity, 00:22:29.47\00:22:32.70 in the wilderness, literal wilderness. 00:22:32.73\00:22:35.04 After 3 and a half literal years Elijah came out of 00:22:35.07\00:22:38.82 the wilderness, he took a bold stand for truth 00:22:38.85\00:22:42.74 and he had that great Mt. Carmel experience of the true worship 00:22:42.77\00:22:46.60 versus false worship, and when the showdown was over 00:22:46.63\00:22:49.35 and truth won, then the rain was poured out. 00:22:49.38\00:22:53.32 In the spiritual sense, remember that all of these things 00:22:53.35\00:22:56.12 have dual applications. In Revelation we're told 00:22:56.15\00:22:59.09 that there is going to be a church persecuting, 00:22:59.12\00:23:01.96 and in Revelation it actually calls the church Jezebel. 00:23:01.99\00:23:04.74 During that time, again, God's faithful people are going 00:23:04.77\00:23:07.75 to flee into the wilderness, not necessarily a literal 00:23:07.78\00:23:10.99 wilderness, although that did take place, but it is for 00:23:11.02\00:23:14.35 a symbolic wilderness as well, not for 3 and a half literal 00:23:14.38\00:23:17.68 years, but 3 and a half symbolic years, 1260 days, 00:23:17.71\00:23:22.14 and we know a day for a year in Bible prophecy, so we're 00:23:22.17\00:23:25.00 looking at 1260 years, during that 1260 years they called 00:23:25.03\00:23:28.38 it the Dark Ages, it wasn't dark because the sun didn't shine, 00:23:28.41\00:23:33.38 it was dark because it was spiritually dark. 00:23:33.41\00:23:36.13 Just as Israel was spiritually dark in the Old Testament 00:23:36.16\00:23:38.08 for 3 and a half years, here you've got 1260 years 00:23:38.11\00:23:40.95 of spiritual darkness because the Bible was not in the hands 00:23:40.98\00:23:44.15 of the common person. During that time Jezebel 00:23:44.18\00:23:48.63 reigned over the people. At the end of that time 00:23:48.66\00:23:53.90 we again are going to see a revelation of the church coming 00:23:53.93\00:23:57.15 out of the wilderness, just as Elijah came out of 00:23:57.18\00:23:59.23 the wilderness, a show down between true and false 00:23:59.26\00:24:01.86 worship, and the Holy Spirit is going to be poured out. 00:24:01.89\00:24:05.16 Fantastic parallels here. Okay, Revelation 12:17, 00:24:05.19\00:24:11.76 it says: [text on screen] 00:24:11.79\00:24:14.24 Here's that word "remnant" down at the end of time, 00:24:24.34\00:24:27.89 let's look at the word "remnant" a little more carefully. 00:24:27.92\00:24:30.84 What exactly is this remnant talking about? 00:24:30.87\00:24:33.07 Sometimes ladies have a little more familiarity with that word 00:24:33.10\00:24:35.70 than men because they might actually use it in this sense: 00:24:35.73\00:24:39.01 if a lady would like to make herself a dress, 00:24:39.04\00:24:41.57 and rather than go to JCPenny's or Wards or something, 00:24:41.60\00:24:44.31 they go down and actually buy the cloth because they're 00:24:44.34\00:24:47.11 going to make the dress, talented as they are, 00:24:47.14\00:24:49.74 so they buy this bolt of cloth at the cloth shop, 00:24:49.77\00:24:55.30 and they take it home, and they procrastinate, so they're going 00:24:55.33\00:24:58.57 to put it in the closet, but when they bought cloth 00:24:58.60\00:25:01.80 here's what the cloth looked like, it was purple cloth 00:25:01.83\00:25:06.05 with yellow flowers and pink polka dots, beautiful stuff. 00:25:06.08\00:25:11.93 Now let me see if you've been paying attention: 00:25:13.07\00:25:15.71 what colour was the cloth? Purple. 00:25:15.74\00:25:18.18 What color were the flowers? Yellow. 00:25:18.21\00:25:20.71 And what color were the polka dots? Pink. 00:25:20.74\00:25:23.18 Okay, you've got it. So she takes that beautiful 00:25:23.21\00:25:25.97 cloth home and she puts it in the closet. 00:25:26.00\00:25:28.63 Then that rainy day finally comes when she decides 00:25:28.66\00:25:31.19 she's going to make her dress, she takes the bolt of cloth 00:25:31.22\00:25:33.96 out, she lays it out, puts her pattern over on top of it 00:25:33.99\00:25:36.57 and she realizes "Oh my, I did not buy enough." 00:25:36.60\00:25:39.25 So she says "I've got to go back down to that cloth shop," 00:25:39.28\00:25:41.95 "that exciting place", all the men know what I'm talking about. 00:25:41.98\00:25:44.94 So she goes down to that cloth shop, and there she asks 00:25:44.97\00:25:48.18 the clerk, she says "Can I get some more of that cloth?" 00:25:48.21\00:25:52.06 And the clerk says "Oh, that was a hot seller, we're all out," 00:25:52.09\00:25:55.62 "but you might find some over in the remnant bin.". 00:25:55.65\00:25:59.61 So she goes over the remnant bin and she starts digging 00:25:59.64\00:26:01.92 around, and different bolts of cloth are flying left and right, 00:26:01.95\00:26:05.65 and finally she sees what she's looking for, she reaches her 00:26:05.68\00:26:08.36 hand down there and grabs it out, she's found the remnant. 00:26:08.39\00:26:13.00 What color is the cloth? Purple. 00:26:13.03\00:26:15.54 And what color are the flowers? Yellow. 00:26:15.57\00:26:18.30 And what color are the polka dots? [Audience] Pink. 00:26:18.33\00:26:20.97 That's right. What you're telling me is that 00:26:21.00\00:26:23.65 what's on the remnant part is exactly like the original. 00:26:23.68\00:26:26.79 It's the small part, it comes at the end of the bolt, 00:26:26.82\00:26:29.36 but it's just the same kind of material. 00:26:29.39\00:26:31.89 So what the Bible is telling us by saying that the dragon 00:26:31.92\00:26:34.50 was warring against the remnant, he's saying that this group 00:26:34.53\00:26:38.67 at the end are going to be clinging to the truths 00:26:38.70\00:26:40.87 of Jesus Christ; they're not made-up man traditions, 00:26:40.90\00:26:45.84 they're not clinging to manmade philosophies, they're clinging 00:26:45.87\00:26:49.96 to the truths that the church has had in the original time, 00:26:49.99\00:26:54.95 it just comes at the end, that's all, and they're not going to be 00:26:54.98\00:26:57.70 the biggest group either. So the Bible describes God's 00:26:57.73\00:27:00.44 church rising at the end of time as the remnant. 00:27:00.47\00:27:04.58 We're going to take a look at the characteristics of God's 00:27:04.61\00:27:07.47 remnant church tonight, this is going to be exciting. 00:27:07.50\00:27:10.26 As we do this we're going to put them up here on the screen 00:27:10.29\00:27:13.02 so all of you can see that it definitely does come right 00:27:13.05\00:27:15.85 from the Bible. Revelation 12 describes 00:27:15.88\00:27:18.80 the rise of God's church, Revelation 14 gives the message 00:27:18.83\00:27:22.72 of God's church, and we're going to look at both. 00:27:22.75\00:27:25.40 So in the book of Revelation we're going to see 00:27:25.43\00:27:28.28 the characteristics of God's end time people, and we're 00:27:28.31\00:27:30.93 going to be objective about it so then we can ask ourselves 00:27:30.96\00:27:33.61 the question: are these people here on earth today? 00:27:33.64\00:27:36.46 So we're going to look at Revelation 14. 00:27:36.49\00:27:42.64 Their first identifying mark we already know: 00:27:46.29\00:27:50.09 God's remnant people are going to rise up at the end 00:27:50.12\00:27:54.63 of the wilderness period, that mean's they're going to rise up 00:27:54.66\00:27:58.27 after 1798, why? Because the wilderness period 00:27:58.30\00:28:02.68 extended from the time that the Papacy began to rule 00:28:02.71\00:28:05.74 in 538, and it ended with the Papacy receiving the deadly 00:28:05.77\00:28:08.76 wound in 1798. So we know that if the remnant 00:28:08.79\00:28:12.31 comes into prophetic view after that, they're going to rise up 00:28:12.34\00:28:14.91 after 1798 because all that time during the Papacy's reign 00:28:14.94\00:28:19.22 they were in the wilderness, that means they weren't going 00:28:19.25\00:28:21.96 to be the visible group. Now let's take a look 00:28:21.99\00:28:24.77 at Revelation 14:6, here it says "And I saw another angel" 00:28:24.80\00:28:30.91 "fly in the midst of heaven", allow me to pause there, 00:28:30.94\00:28:33.70 when God shows us an angel flying in the midst of heaven, 00:28:33.73\00:28:36.89 it's showing us that it's a very important message 00:28:36.92\00:28:40.30 that God wants us to listen to. What else is it telling us? 00:28:40.33\00:28:44.73 [text on screen] 00:28:44.76\00:28:47.25 It's definitely a message that the church preaches, Jesus said 00:28:51.22\00:28:54.28 "Go out into all nations and preach the gospel", so this 00:28:54.31\00:28:57.35 is the church preaching here, but it's pictured as angels 00:28:57.38\00:29:00.11 flying in the midst of heaven. So here is what God's people 00:29:00.14\00:29:02.87 are supposed to preach, they're going to proclaim what 00:29:02.90\00:29:05.68 Revelation 14 shows is 3 angelic messages, and we're 00:29:05.71\00:29:10.29 looking at the first on here in verses 6 and 7. 00:29:10.32\00:29:13.61 So we know that God's last day people are going to be 00:29:13.64\00:29:18.13 preaching the 3 angel's messages of Revelation, 00:29:18.16\00:29:22.13 which include, as it says here, the everlasting gospel. 00:29:22.16\00:29:25.46 What exactly is the everlasting gospel? 00:29:25.49\00:29:28.83 The everlasting gospel includes victory in Jesus, does it not? 00:29:28.86\00:29:32.72 It's going to show us that if we are burdened down with 00:29:32.75\00:29:36.05 the guilt of sin, if we are going about feeling that 00:29:36.08\00:29:40.58 the Devil is oppressing us, that the Devil is weighing us 00:29:40.61\00:29:43.56 down with our past, that we can come and put our burden 00:29:43.59\00:29:47.42 right at the feet of Jesus, and we can be set free. 00:29:47.45\00:29:51.98 Jesus did not just set us free from the past, but Jesus sets 00:29:52.01\00:29:56.28 us free so we no longer have to sin even in the future. 00:29:56.31\00:29:59.89 Jesus saves us not in our sins, but Matthew 1:21 says 00:29:59.92\00:30:04.63 "from our sins". So that is very important, 00:30:04.66\00:30:07.89 the true gospel is that Jesus saves us from our sins. 00:30:07.92\00:30:11.77 That's a very important difference than many other 00:30:11.80\00:30:14.53 things are being taught as the gospel today. 00:30:14.56\00:30:17.09 So now let's go to Revelation 14:12. 00:30:17.12\00:30:21.98 Here we see, it says: [text on screen] 00:30:22.01\00:30:24.81 So God's remnant people are going to be characterized 00:30:32.30\00:30:35.19 by the fact that they love God with all their hearts, 00:30:35.22\00:30:38.03 they love Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, and that love 00:30:38.06\00:30:40.97 is going to be manifested in the keeping of His commandments. 00:30:41.00\00:30:44.46 Friends, obedience that stems from love in the heart is not 00:30:44.49\00:30:48.49 legalism, it's loyalty. 00:30:48.52\00:30:51.48 Some of you missed a good chance to say "amen", 00:30:52.84\00:30:56.28 some of you picked up on it, I'm glad for that. 00:30:56.31\00:30:59.08 Revelation 14:7, it says: [text on screen] 00:30:59.11\00:31:03.84 That's a call to worship the Creator, isn't it? 00:31:11.07\00:31:13.84 We've covered that on the previous night. 00:31:13.87\00:31:16.57 And what does God tell us He did right in the very beginning 00:31:16.60\00:31:19.40 when He created? 00:31:19.43\00:31:21.70 We're told in Genesis 2:3: [text on screen] 00:31:21.73\00:31:24.93 So right there in the very beginning when God established 00:31:27.96\00:31:30.93 His creative authority in this world, He says "I set aside" 00:31:30.96\00:31:33.41 "a day and blessed and sanctified it as a remembrance" 00:31:33.44\00:31:36.31 "that I am the creator", and Exodus 20:8-11 talks about that, 00:31:36.34\00:31:41.69 it says: [text on screen] 00:31:41.72\00:31:44.20 And it goes on to tell us "because in 6 days the Lord" 00:31:49.04\00:31:51.21 "made heaven and earth, the sea and all that in them is", 00:31:51.24\00:31:53.89 so what we're being told here is that a call to worship God 00:31:53.92\00:31:58.14 as the Creator is a call to remember God's Sabbath day. 00:31:58.17\00:32:03.37 If you take these 4 marks that we've got on the screen, that 00:32:03.40\00:32:06.53 God's remnant is going to rise after 1798, it's going to preach 00:32:06.56\00:32:09.33 the everlasting gospel, it's going to preach loyalty to all 00:32:09.36\00:32:12.14 of God's commandments, because that's what the Bible says, 00:32:12.17\00:32:16.44 and it's going to keep God's 7th day Sabbath. 00:32:16.47\00:32:19.19 Friends, do you know just right there you would eliminate 95%, 00:32:19.22\00:32:24.67 I dare say, almost 99%, of the churches today from being 00:32:24.70\00:32:28.98 God's remnant because either they've preached that God's law 00:32:29.01\00:32:32.85 was done away with, or they've preached that it's nailed to 00:32:32.88\00:32:35.62 the cross, or they've preached that it really doesn't matter 00:32:35.65\00:32:38.34 because we're under grace today, and they've rejected this 4th 00:32:38.37\00:32:41.22 commandment as saying it's legalism, or not important, 00:32:41.25\00:32:44.07 or some other excuse. Friends, right there in these 00:32:44.10\00:32:46.89 first 4 marks, and we've got more to come, you know that you 00:32:46.92\00:32:49.47 can eliminate almost 99% of the churches today as being 00:32:49.50\00:32:52.55 described as God's remnant, but we've got more. 00:32:52.58\00:32:55.83 It goes back to Revelation 14:7, it begins by saying 00:32:55.86\00:33:04.07 [text on screen] 00:33:04.10\00:33:08.57 So the remnant church in Revelation is going to be 00:33:11.13\00:33:14.15 preaching that we are living in God's judgment hour. 00:33:14.18\00:33:18.14 We took a whole night on this over just about a week ago, 00:33:18.17\00:33:21.09 and we found that God's prophecy of the 2300 day/year message in 00:33:21.12\00:33:29.11 Daniel 8:14 takes us all the way down through time to 1844 when 00:33:29.14\00:33:35.05 we found that since the year 1844 we've been living in what 00:33:35.08\00:33:38.02 the Bible says is the hour of God's judgment, we're living in 00:33:38.05\00:33:40.83 serious times, aren't we? Absolutely. 00:33:40.86\00:33:43.89 So here's a call to get ready for the coming of Jesus, living 00:33:43.92\00:33:46.93 in God's judgment hour, and we have to have a church that 00:33:46.96\00:33:50.73 understands that, finds out where we are in prophecy 00:33:50.76\00:33:53.72 and is preaching that. We go back to verse 7, 00:33:53.75\00:33:56.66 there's a lot here, we can't get it all in just 1 identifying 00:33:56.69\00:34:01.50 mark, we've got to go back, it says: "Saying with a loud" 00:34:01.53\00:34:04.33 "voice, Fear God, and give" what to him? 00:34:04.36\00:34:07.44 "Glory to him". God's last day message is a call 00:34:07.47\00:34:11.54 to give glory to God. We can give glory to God in 00:34:11.57\00:34:15.48 many ways, can't we? We can give glory by what day 00:34:15.51\00:34:20.29 we worship Him on, we can give glory to God by wanting 00:34:20.32\00:34:23.45 to obey all His commandments, but there's another way we give 00:34:23.48\00:34:26.65 glory to God and we looked at this on a previous night 00:34:26.68\00:34:29.61 in 1 Corinthians 6:19 Paul said to the Corinthians church: 00:34:29.64\00:34:33.77 [text on screen] 00:34:33.80\00:34:36.33 So God's last day church is going to be giving a clear 00:34:41.56\00:34:45.19 message about giving glory to Him in how we treat 00:34:45.22\00:34:48.76 the body temple. In other words, we're to 00:34:48.79\00:34:52.51 realize that our bodies are not fun houses to do as we please, 00:34:52.54\00:34:56.76 that rather, we are to be the dwelling place of a Holy God 00:34:56.79\00:35:01.52 who wants to take up residence right there in our hearts 00:35:01.55\00:35:03.91 and minds. So God calls us away from 00:35:03.94\00:35:06.81 the body destroying vices: alcohol, tobacco, illicit drugs, 00:35:06.84\00:35:13.06 and impure foods, and these things that are clogging 00:35:13.09\00:35:16.27 the mind, clogging the brain from receiving messages 00:35:16.30\00:35:19.85 from the Holy Spirit, we've gone through this. 00:35:19.88\00:35:22.77 So God's last day church is not a church of low standards, 00:35:22.80\00:35:26.03 it's a church of high standards because that's what Jesus had. 00:35:26.06\00:35:30.99 So we look, as we look around us in this world, at an age 00:35:31.02\00:35:35.23 of accommodating religion? Isn't it an age when it seems 00:35:35.26\00:35:38.69 like you can do anything you want and still be called 00:35:38.72\00:35:41.27 a Christian in some places? It doesn't really matter, 00:35:41.30\00:35:44.06 they say that all you do is you just have to profess 00:35:44.09\00:35:47.05 the name of Jesus and they say you're going to be saved 00:35:47.08\00:35:49.85 and then you go on and live as you please, friends, that's not 00:35:49.88\00:35:52.57 the religion of Jesus, that's not the faith of Jesus. 00:35:52.60\00:35:55.25 Let's go to Revelation 14:9-11. It says: [text on screen] 00:35:55.28\00:36:04.66 So now we're seeing that God's true church is going to be 00:36:18.22\00:36:21.20 preaching the mark of the beast message, there are many churches 00:36:21.23\00:36:24.63 out there tonight that not only aren't they teaching the mark 00:36:24.66\00:36:27.19 of the beast, but they couldn't even tell you what the Biblical 00:36:27.22\00:36:29.80 beast is, and you can't preach the mark of the beast unless you 00:36:29.83\00:36:32.67 know what the beast is, and yet they would say "we don't know," 00:36:32.70\00:36:35.73 "and we don't even think it's possible to find it out." 00:36:35.76\00:36:38.64 Friends, God's last day church is a call to worship 00:36:38.67\00:36:41.16 the Creator, and not worship the beast, or take its mark, 00:36:41.19\00:36:44.67 or the image of the beast, you can't say that your church 00:36:44.70\00:36:49.15 is the remnant church if they can't preach this message, 00:36:49.18\00:36:52.51 and you can't preach this message unless you know 00:36:52.54\00:36:55.12 this message. Dear friends, listen, 00:36:55.15\00:36:57.29 God's church is a divine movement of destiny that He 00:36:57.32\00:37:00.43 has raised up in the last days to preach a straight, clear 00:37:00.46\00:37:06.48 message that prepares the world for the coming of Jesus, 00:37:06.51\00:37:09.96 that's what it's for. Let's go back Revelation 12 00:37:09.99\00:37:12.52 for a moment, we were there earlier, we're going to come 00:37:12.55\00:37:15.32 back to chapter 14 too, but in Revelation 12:17 I want 00:37:15.35\00:37:20.06 to read this verse, it says: [text on screen] 00:37:20.09\00:37:23.36 Notice how these 2 things are put together, we're going 00:37:31.74\00:37:34.69 to look at this verse again tomorrow night, 00:37:34.72\00:37:37.30 but the commandments of God are made central again. 00:37:37.33\00:37:40.71 There are many churches that tell you that you don't need 00:37:40.74\00:37:43.54 to keep the commandments of God, but my Bible and your Bible 00:37:43.57\00:37:46.15 say that we do, and then in that next part it says: 00:37:46.18\00:37:48.87 "and they have the testimony of Jesus Christ", that means 00:37:48.90\00:37:51.67 they're in possession of it, they have it, well, what exactly 00:37:51.70\00:37:54.36 is it? Well, let's let the Bible interpret it for us. 00:37:54.39\00:37:56.92 Turn with me to Revelation 19 and we'll get our answer. 00:37:56.95\00:38:00.09 Revelation 19:10. I'm so glad that the Bible 00:38:00.12\00:38:08.33 can give us the interpretation, we don't have to guess 00:38:08.36\00:38:11.36 at this, Revelation 19:10. This is what Scripture says: 00:38:11.39\00:38:18.27 [text on screen] 00:38:18.30\00:38:20.30 That's right, so God puts these 2 things together, 00:38:34.68\00:38:38.28 the testimony of Jesus and the spirit of prophecy. 00:38:38.31\00:38:42.19 Just as God gave the spirit of prophecy to prepare 00:38:42.22\00:38:45.44 the world for the coming of the flood, and just as God gave 00:38:45.47\00:38:48.67 John the Baptist the spirit of prophecy to prepare the world 00:38:48.70\00:38:51.18 for the first coming of Jesus, so God is going to put 00:38:51.21\00:38:54.03 the spirit of prophecy in the remnant church to prepare 00:38:54.06\00:38:56.71 the world for the second coming of Jesus. 00:38:56.74\00:39:00.18 That's what the Bible is giving it for. 00:39:00.21\00:39:02.90 So this last day church is going to have this particular gift, 00:39:02.93\00:39:09.87 and we're going to take a look more on this tomorrow night, 00:39:09.90\00:39:12.52 by the way, so we're not going to take a long time 00:39:12.55\00:39:15.51 on it tonight. So we've got these marks 00:39:15.54\00:39:18.24 up here, we've got 8 of them, we've got more to go. 00:39:18.27\00:39:21.08 Let's to Ecclesiastes 9:5. What we're going to do 00:39:21.11\00:39:26.16 is continue pulling marks out of Scripture, Ecclesiastes 9:5 00:39:26.19\00:39:32.51 says this: [text on screen] 00:39:32.54\00:39:35.71 We've covered this on a whole night of the seminar, 00:39:42.49\00:39:45.54 that the dead know not anything, now look at another one 00:39:45.57\00:39:48.39 if you would, in Psalm 115:17 it says: [text on screen] 00:39:48.42\00:39:52.42 Here's another one, Psalm 6:5: [text on screen] 00:39:56.59\00:40:00.03 We've covered that in dead it's like a rest, it's like a sleep 00:40:04.07\00:40:10.89 until Jesus comes and knocks on the grave and wakes 00:40:10.92\00:40:14.28 us up. Speaking of that, Jesus said 00:40:14.31\00:40:17.22 in John 5:28,29, he said: [text on screen] 00:40:17.25\00:40:20.39 So turn with me back to Revelation 14:13. 00:40:31.94\00:40:41.00 This is all part of the same passage, it says: 00:40:41.03\00:40:44.53 "And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me," 00:40:44.56\00:40:47.46 "Write, blessed are the dead that in the Lord from " 00:40:47.49\00:40:50.42 "henceforth, Yea sayeth the Spirit, that they may rest from" 00:40:50.45\00:40:53.63 "their labors and their works do follow them". 00:40:53.66\00:40:56.39 Revelation's true message carries on what we've been 00:40:56.42\00:40:59.33 learning about death, and that is a rest until Jesus comes 00:40:59.36\00:41:03.53 and wakes us up in the resurrection. 00:41:03.56\00:41:06.19 Friends, this is our safeguard against spiritualism, did you 00:41:06.22\00:41:08.90 know that? You see, spiritualism has a thousand 00:41:08.93\00:41:11.46 different forms that it can take, and yet if you know 00:41:11.49\00:41:14.45 the truth about death, it will save you from any one 00:41:14.48\00:41:17.60 of a thousand different forms, and you will know that the dead 00:41:17.63\00:41:20.58 know not anything, so it's part of God's last day truth, 00:41:20.61\00:41:24.41 and last day message that teaches death being a rest, 00:41:24.44\00:41:27.34 or a sleep, until the resurrection. 00:41:27.37\00:41:30.02 Let's go to another verse, but before we do, I want to ask 00:41:30.05\00:41:33.43 you a question. One of the most important 00:41:33.46\00:41:36.66 questions that I think we could ever ask anyone in all 00:41:36.69\00:41:39.87 of their life, and that is: are you a member of a church 00:41:39.90\00:41:45.40 that not only was raised up after 1798, but is preaching 00:41:45.43\00:41:50.29 the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ, that is teaching 00:41:50.32\00:41:55.10 faithfulness to all of God's commandments, that is teaching 00:41:55.13\00:41:58.47 the truth of the 4th commandment as well, that is teaching 00:41:58.50\00:42:02.44 about we're living in the fact of God's judgment hour, 00:42:02.47\00:42:06.05 that it's teaching that we're to give glory to God through 00:42:06.08\00:42:08.57 a health message, that it's teaching that 00:42:08.60\00:42:13.70 the Biblical beast of Daniel 7 and Revelation 13, and we've 00:42:13.73\00:42:17.66 covered what that is, that it's teaching the truth about 00:42:17.69\00:42:20.33 the mark of the beast and the image of the beast, that it's 00:42:20.36\00:42:23.23 teaching the truth about the gift of prophecy, and is 00:42:23.26\00:42:27.16 teaching the truth about death being a sleep until 00:42:27.19\00:42:29.62 the resurrection morning? If not, then I want to ask you 00:42:29.65\00:42:34.22 the question tonight: why not? 00:42:34.25\00:42:37.29 Because this is what Revelation is focusing on. 00:42:37.32\00:42:40.11 Remember, we don't find truth by a church, but you find 00:42:40.14\00:42:44.00 the church by the truth. Now let's go back 00:42:44.03\00:42:47.48 to Revelation, this time we're going to look at 00:42:47.51\00:42:50.00 Revelation 14:14, when you're looking for a church 00:42:50.03\00:42:53.27 you're asking yourself the question: what does the church 00:42:53.30\00:42:56.51 believe? Does the church follow 00:42:56.54\00:42:59.60 its own agenda, or is the church following heaven's 00:42:59.63\00:43:02.72 agenda, because that's what we want. 00:43:02.75\00:43:05.72 Let's go look now, Revelation 14:14, 00:43:05.75\00:43:08.19 this is what it says: [text on screen] 00:43:08.22\00:43:11.08 This is talking about Jesus coming again, do you know 00:43:17.31\00:43:20.63 that the whole focus of this chapter, the whole focus 00:43:20.66\00:43:23.85 of the message that is being given is to prepare the world 00:43:23.88\00:43:26.81 for this one event, the second coming of Jesus, 00:43:26.84\00:43:29.64 and that's why it's so important to know exactly how Jesus 00:43:29.67\00:43:32.35 is going to come, because if we don't have the truth 00:43:32.38\00:43:35.18 about how Jesus is going to come, it for sure is going 00:43:35.21\00:43:37.92 to mix us up on the other end time events, and the Devil 00:43:37.95\00:43:40.77 would love that, so we took a whole night to find out 00:43:40.80\00:43:43.32 how exactly Jesus is going to come; remember, we know 00:43:43.35\00:43:46.07 [text on screen] 00:43:46.10\00:43:48.65 All of these things Scripture tells us about the second 00:43:52.44\00:43:54.92 coming, so yes, God's last day people are going to be teaching 00:43:54.95\00:44:00.19 the truth in the midst of a world that is going a wrong 00:44:00.22\00:44:03.78 direction on this topic, God's message is going to cut 00:44:03.81\00:44:06.91 through it all and show people what the truth is 00:44:06.94\00:44:09.44 about Jesus second coming. We have more though. 00:44:09.47\00:44:12.93 Turn with me back to verse 8 of that chapter because 00:44:12.96\00:44:15.85 we missed that one, we're going to go back and pick it up, 00:44:15.88\00:44:18.72 Revelation 14:8, here's what it says: [text on screen] 00:44:18.75\00:44:22.64 This is most interesting because it can't be talking 00:44:31.31\00:44:34.17 about literal Babylon, literal Babylon fell many many 00:44:34.20\00:44:37.57 centuries ago, it's laying there in heaps and ruins tonight, 00:44:37.60\00:44:41.73 so it's not talking there about the literal Babylon in the Old 00:44:41.76\00:44:44.58 Testament, over there in Iraq tonight, it's talking about 00:44:44.61\00:44:47.48 spiritual Babylon, let's get an even deeper insight in 00:44:47.51\00:44:50.21 Revelation 18 if you would just turn over there. 00:44:50.24\00:44:52.83 Revelation 18, we're going to read from verse 1-4. 00:44:52.86\00:44:57.64 Revelation 18:1-4, it says: [text on screen] 00:45:01.42\00:45:04.63 Friends, I want you to consider this tonight, God's remnant 00:45:50.03\00:45:53.03 church does not exist simply to put information into minds 00:45:53.06\00:45:57.21 of people, but it exists to give a call to people to come 00:45:57.25\00:46:01.41 out of false worship because God is saying 00:46:01.44\00:46:05.11 "come out of her, My people", does God have people 00:46:05.14\00:46:09.08 in Babylon? Yes he does, spiritual Babylon. 00:46:09.11\00:46:11.76 Does God want them to stay there? No. 00:46:11.79\00:46:14.30 You see, I have people come to me and they'll say this, 00:46:14.33\00:46:17.06 they'll say "Pastor Brian, I know my church teaches" 00:46:17.09\00:46:19.81 "in error about the second coming, I know my church" 00:46:19.84\00:46:22.41 "doesn't teach the truth about death, I know my church doesn't" 00:46:22.44\00:46:25.02 "teaching the truth about these other things we've been" 00:46:25.05\00:46:27.63 "covering, but I love those people and I think that maybe" 00:46:27.66\00:46:30.34 "I should stay there and try to help them out," 00:46:30.37\00:46:32.98 "what should I do? Should I come out?" 00:46:33.01\00:46:35.77 "Should I stay?" Dear friends, I'm so thankful 00:46:35.80\00:46:38.38 that I don't have to answer that because if I answered it 00:46:38.41\00:46:41.61 then people would think that maybe I was prejudiced, 00:46:41.64\00:46:43.47 or I was biased in the matter and I had an ulterior motive, 00:46:43.50\00:46:46.89 but friends, God answers that question, He says: 00:46:46.92\00:46:50.11 "Babylon is fallen, is fallen", the double emphasis means 00:46:50.14\00:46:55.01 it's beyond restoration, it's not going to right itself, 00:46:55.04\00:46:59.74 it's a ship that is sinking and it's not going to stay afloat 00:46:59.77\00:47:02.70 no matter what you do, so God is saying: "Don't stay" 00:47:02.73\00:47:05.99 "in Babylon, Babylon is going to receive the 7 last plagues" 00:47:06.02\00:47:10.17 "because it insists on worshipping falsely." 00:47:10.20\00:47:12.36 God doesn't call institutions, God calls people to come out, 00:47:12.39\00:47:17.24 and He says "Come out, don't stay in Babylon", make 00:47:17.27\00:47:20.90 a decision in your heart that you are going to be 00:47:20.93\00:47:23.41 an example for others to follow because action speaks 00:47:23.44\00:47:26.41 louder than words, doesn't it? You can stay there and you can 00:47:26.44\00:47:29.49 preach to them day and all year long, but unless you come out 00:47:29.52\00:47:32.57 they'll say "If it's not enough of a message to move you," 00:47:32.60\00:47:35.45 "it's not going to move me." Friends, I want to move 00:47:35.48\00:47:39.10 if God says move, don't you? Absolutely. 00:47:39.13\00:47:42.60 People will say "I know my church teaches error, but I'm" 00:47:42.63\00:47:45.35 "its choir teacher", "I know my church teaches error," 00:47:45.38\00:47:49.07 "but I'm an usher", or "I know my church teaches error" 00:47:49.10\00:47:52.74 "and I'm..." some other important position, 00:47:52.77\00:47:55.50 friends, the Bible says "come out". 00:47:55.53\00:47:59.82 God is telling us He's going to destroy Babylon. 00:47:59.85\00:48:03.32 I'm going to go back to the question that we began with 00:48:03.35\00:48:06.34 tonight, and I'm going to ask you ever so earnestly: 00:48:06.37\00:48:08.97 why do you go to the particular church that you presently go to? 00:48:09.00\00:48:12.80 Is it because of tradition? Is it because of habit? 00:48:12.83\00:48:16.39 Is it because of convenience? Or is it because you are 00:48:16.42\00:48:18.99 profoundly convicted that your church is teaching the kinds 00:48:19.02\00:48:22.02 of things that Revelation is showing here? 00:48:22.05\00:48:25.50 People will ask me many, many things, and one of the things 00:48:25.53\00:48:29.79 they ask me is: "Pastor, what church do you go to?" 00:48:29.82\00:48:33.67 Well, I'm going to show you one more thing before I answer 00:48:33.70\00:48:37.76 that question. In Revelation 14:6 it says this: 00:48:37.79\00:48:44.36 [text on screen] 00:48:44.39\00:48:46.46 This goes along with what Jesus said in Matthew 24:14. 00:48:55.32\00:48:59.51 Jesus said: [text on screen] 00:48:59.54\00:49:01.98 Does it say that they're all going to believe? 00:49:07.19\00:49:09.21 No, it says they're going to have a witness in all 00:49:09.24\00:49:12.20 these places; in other words, it's going to be a worldwide 00:49:12.23\00:49:16.56 church with a worldwide message. 00:49:16.59\00:49:20.46 So the last points we're going to put up here on the screen 00:49:20.49\00:49:23.43 is that they're going to call people to come out of Babylon, 00:49:23.46\00:49:26.37 that's right from the book of Revelation, and it's going to be 00:49:26.40\00:49:29.33 a worldwide church with a worldwide message. 00:49:29.36\00:49:32.00 Now I'm going to put them all up on the screen at the same time 00:49:32.03\00:49:34.88 so you can see them together. That's one powerful message, 00:49:34.91\00:49:37.72 isn't it? Is it right from the Bible, 00:49:37.75\00:49:40.38 if so, give me an "amen". [Audience] Amen. 00:49:40.41\00:49:43.06 Did we make these things up? You see, it's not subjective 00:49:43.09\00:49:46.00 to the speaker up here tonight, it's objective, and it's what 00:49:46.03\00:49:48.71 the Bible says, it's what Revelation says, isn't it? 00:49:48.74\00:49:51.18 It's God message, what do you say out there? 00:49:51.21\00:49:53.84 It's what the end time church is to preach. 00:49:53.87\00:49:58.66 You might be sitting there tonight saying "Well pastor," 00:49:58.69\00:50:02.13 "show me a church that does that." 00:50:02.16\00:50:05.56 What church would Jesus want to be in? 00:50:05.59\00:50:09.93 Do you know that the answer to the question of "what church" 00:50:09.96\00:50:12.77 "Jesus would want to be in?" is incredibly simple, Jesus 00:50:12.80\00:50:17.36 would preach the message that He left for His church to preach 00:50:17.39\00:50:21.29 upon His ascent into heaven. If Jesus was to come to this 00:50:21.32\00:50:26.17 city tonight, Jesus would preach the very message that He 00:50:26.20\00:50:30.15 inspired His prophets to write down in Scripture. 00:50:30.18\00:50:33.40 It's not a difficult question at all really. 00:50:33.43\00:50:36.53 "Pastor Brian, what church are you a member of?" 00:50:36.56\00:50:39.24 I'll tell you this, I was brought up in lovely 00:50:39.27\00:50:41.84 Roman-Catholic home, and I went to church every week 00:50:41.87\00:50:45.40 faithfully with my parents for years, I memorized the various 00:50:45.43\00:50:49.18 creeds, I recited the various memorized prayers, but what 00:50:49.21\00:50:53.97 I sensed in my heart was that I needed something more 00:50:54.00\00:50:57.75 than simply claiming that we can go back all the way back 00:50:57.78\00:51:00.25 to the apostle Peter with apostolic succession, 00:51:00.28\00:51:03.07 something that isn't true anyway; I needed to know 00:51:03.10\00:51:05.68 that I was faithfully following the word of God. 00:51:05.71\00:51:11.25 Friends, I'm a Seventh Day Adventist tonight not because I 00:51:11.28\00:51:14.19 was born into a Seventh Day Adventist family, not because 00:51:14.22\00:51:17.84 my parents are Seventh Day Adventists tonight, but because 00:51:17.87\00:51:20.84 of all the churches on the face of the earth, there is only 1 00:51:20.87\00:51:25.38 church dear friends, only 1 church that was raised up after 00:51:25.41\00:51:31.26 1798, preaches the entire everlasting gospel, preaches 00:51:31.29\00:51:35.44 loyalty to all of God's commandments, is keeping 00:51:35.47\00:51:37.95 the 7th day Sabbath, is preaching throughout the world 00:51:37.98\00:51:41.33 that the hour of His judgment has come, that is teaching 00:51:41.36\00:51:43.96 glory to God through a worldwide health message, that is 00:51:43.99\00:51:47.26 warning the world of the beast and the mark of the beast, 00:51:47.29\00:51:50.18 has the gift of prophecy, which I'll talk about more tomorrow 00:51:50.21\00:51:53.14 night, teaches the truth about death being a sleep till 00:51:53.17\00:51:56.03 the resurrection day, teaching the truth of the second coming 00:51:56.06\00:51:58.82 of Jesus, calling people to come out of spiritual Babylon, 00:51:58.85\00:52:01.66 and it's a worldwide church with a worldwide message. 00:52:01.69\00:52:04.47 Friends, there is only 1 church on the face of the earth 00:52:04.50\00:52:07.19 that is doing that. Friends, immediately someone 00:52:07.22\00:52:11.16 will say "are you trying to say that only Seventh Day" 00:52:11.19\00:52:13.95 "Adventists are going to be in heaven?" 00:52:13.98\00:52:16.46 Friends, absolutely not! I'm not saying that at all, 00:52:16.49\00:52:19.23 in fact, Seventh Day Adventists are some of the most inclusive 00:52:19.26\00:52:22.06 of all people, in that we believe that God will honor 00:52:22.09\00:52:24.60 the sincerity of someone when they do something without 00:52:24.63\00:52:27.47 the understanding of truth, or the opportunity to know truth, 00:52:27.50\00:52:30.28 there'll be many people in heaven that haven't had 00:52:30.31\00:52:32.85 the opportunity to learn these things, and God will honor 00:52:32.88\00:52:35.85 what they did with what they knew, but I will tell you this: 00:52:35.88\00:52:40.60 if the Bible is the roadmap to heaven...is the Bible 00:52:40.63\00:52:43.01 the roadmap to heaven? Amen! 00:52:43.04\00:52:45.60 ...and if that roadmap to heaven is pointing in one direction 00:52:45.63\00:52:49.08 and people are following a church, or a theology that's 00:52:49.11\00:52:51.74 pointing in another direction, they're greatly going to hinder 00:52:51.77\00:52:54.74 their chances of arriving where they want to be. 00:52:54.77\00:52:57.39 One thing I've learned from all my travels is how important 00:52:57.42\00:52:59.82 it is to read the roadmap right. The reason that I am 00:52:59.85\00:53:04.35 holding this seminar right here at this time, the reason 00:53:04.38\00:53:07.78 I travel 9 and a half months out of the year, and I don't 00:53:07.81\00:53:10.54 like to travel, it gets a little old after a while to be 00:53:10.57\00:53:14.44 honest with you, I like to be home, I'm kind of one of those 00:53:14.47\00:53:18.24 home bodies, but I like to be here with you, you know why? 00:53:18.27\00:53:23.34 Because I like to help people to read the roadmap right, 00:53:23.37\00:53:27.47 and that's my reason to be with you, I love you, 00:53:27.50\00:53:30.08 and I want to see you in heaven by God's grace, 00:53:30.11\00:53:32.61 and I want to be there too. [Audience] Amen. 00:53:32.64\00:53:35.34 You see, with over 900, or people say a couple thousand, 00:53:35.37\00:53:40.24 different kinds of Christian churches, do we have the ability 00:53:40.27\00:53:45.01 to research every single one of them to try to 00:53:45.04\00:53:47.74 find out which one's right? 00:53:47.77\00:53:50.19 No, do we even have the desire to research every one of those, 00:53:50.22\00:53:53.16 we don't have the time, we don't have the ability, we don't have 00:53:53.19\00:53:56.15 the desire, so God gives us a plain message and says: 00:53:56.18\00:53:59.10 "Come to My Word, read the characteristics and find My" 00:53:59.13\00:54:02.60 "people from those characteristics." 00:54:02.63\00:54:05.76 Friends, listen tonight, God honors the sincerity of people 00:54:05.79\00:54:11.54 who do what they think is right without the opportunity 00:54:11.57\00:54:13.81 to know truth, but God never desires us to stay in error 00:54:13.84\00:54:18.46 simply because that's where we were in the past. 00:54:18.49\00:54:21.87 God never desires us to keep on doing wrong simply because 00:54:21.90\00:54:25.22 we have the habit of doing wrong. 00:54:25.25\00:54:28.58 Sometimes people will say "Well, I know a hypocrite in" 00:54:28.61\00:54:31.24 "that church", it may be, we've all been hypocrites 00:54:31.27\00:54:34.93 at one time or another, haven't we? 00:54:34.96\00:54:37.30 ...if we're going to be honest with ourselves. 00:54:37.33\00:54:39.99 If we waited for everyone to be perfect, I wouldn't have 00:54:40.02\00:54:42.93 joined the apostles back in the days of Jesus because 00:54:42.96\00:54:45.73 they weren't perfect, were they? There were some hypocrites 00:54:45.76\00:54:48.52 there too. But friends, God's church 00:54:48.55\00:54:51.25 is not God's church because everyone is perfect, God's 00:54:51.28\00:54:54.13 church because everyone is perfect, God's church is God's 00:54:54.16\00:54:56.78 church because it teaches the message of heaven, and if we are 00:54:56.81\00:54:59.47 willing to submit and follow that message, it'll prepare us 00:54:59.50\00:55:02.21 for Jesus coming. It may not be the church 00:55:02.24\00:55:04.42 with the greatest edifices, it may not be the church 00:55:04.45\00:55:06.94 with the grand cathedrals, the crystal cathedrals, 00:55:06.97\00:55:10.75 it may be entirely different, it may be a grass hut 00:55:10.78\00:55:15.14 in the middle of Africa, it may be a church of people with no 00:55:15.17\00:55:19.74 building over there in India, but God's church today is 00:55:19.77\00:55:25.25 everywhere around this world. Let me share with you 00:55:25.28\00:55:27.84 what Jesus said again in Matthew 24:14, He said: 00:55:27.87\00:55:32.44 [text on screen] 00:55:32.47\00:55:34.65 I'm going to share with you this little pamphlet called 00:55:36.27\00:55:41.25 "Partners", we didn't originally publish this, but we republished 00:55:41.28\00:55:45.36 to have enough to share with people, and this actually was 00:55:45.39\00:55:47.76 published by the American Bible Society and Church 00:55:47.79\00:55:50.74 Missions, and what they decided to do, this particular Bible 00:55:50.77\00:55:53.30 society, they wanted to know what church was preaching 00:55:53.33\00:55:56.84 their message in what countries of the world. 00:55:56.87\00:55:59.15 So they listed the various countries of the world on 3 00:55:59.18\00:56:02.19 pages, and there's a lot of them here, and then they listed 00:56:02.22\00:56:05.16 the various gospel preaching churches, or Protestant churches 00:56:05.19\00:56:08.63 here at the top, the ones that they thought were Christian 00:56:08.66\00:56:11.82 churches basically. Now for the sake of time, 00:56:11.85\00:56:15.48 I'm going to try to get right to it, there's a lot of blank 00:56:15.51\00:56:22.06 space on here where that church was preaching in that country, 00:56:22.09\00:56:25.06 they put a dot to show that that was so, that that church 00:56:25.09\00:56:27.96 was active in that particular country, most of it is blank 00:56:27.99\00:56:30.51 space because even though churches might be popular here 00:56:30.54\00:56:33.17 in America, they might not have a lot of members here 00:56:33.20\00:56:35.86 in America, but go outside of the shores of this country 00:56:35.89\00:56:38.53 and many of those churches are almost unknown, 00:56:38.56\00:56:40.36 they're interested only here. 00:56:40.39\00:56:42.63 But even though most of this is blank spaced, in the second 00:56:42.66\00:56:48.31 column it says "Adventists, Seventh Day". 00:56:48.34\00:56:52.87 Seventh Day Adventists, "Seventh Day" meaning "loyal to Jesus", 00:56:52.90\00:56:56.68 "Adventists" means "hope in Jesus". 00:56:56.71\00:56:59.26 Loyalty to Jesus, hope in Jesus, and don't strain your eyes 00:56:59.29\00:57:04.44 because I'm going to give every one of you one when you 00:57:04.47\00:57:07.11 leave here because you couldn't see this anyway. 00:57:07.14\00:57:09.80 In the second column where that church is preaching 00:57:09.83\00:57:12.48 in that country, you've got dots all the way down, 00:57:12.51\00:57:15.72 and you go on the next column and there's dots all the way 00:57:15.75\00:57:18.42 down, and you go into the last column, and there's dots 00:57:18.45\00:57:22.32 all the way down. There's just a couple spaces 00:57:22.35\00:57:25.07 when this was printed and they've since been filled in. 00:57:25.10\00:57:27.43 Friends, that is not by coincidence, that is by the sure 00:57:27.46\00:57:31.24 word of prophecy, are we living in the end days, yes or no? 00:57:31.27\00:57:35.20 [Audience] Yes. Did God say that message 00:57:35.23\00:57:37.92 will go into every nation, kindred, and tongue and people 00:57:37.95\00:57:40.68 before Jesus comes back, yes or no? 00:57:40.71\00:57:43.35 [Audience] Yes. Should we then see it tonight 00:57:43.38\00:57:46.15 in all of these countries of the world, should we see that gospel 00:57:46.18\00:57:49.15 preached according to the sure word of God? 00:57:49.18\00:57:51.95 Friends, you've seen it right here. 00:57:51.98\00:57:54.62 God raised up a people to preach that message before Jesus 00:57:54.65\00:57:59.53 comes back to bring out the true believers out of Babylon. 00:57:59.56\00:58:03.95
