the Scriptures from

Testament, we found many texts

that tells us that we want to be
an obedient people as Christians

and even in the book of
Revelation we found that

Revelation saints are
known for being a commandment

keeping people. And
yet, as we went to texts

such as Matthew 7, we
saw that there was a very sad

situation that's going to arise,
and that is that a lot of people

who thought that
they are going to be saved

will not be,
and we wondered why?

Why would they not be saved
even though they were speaking

in Jesus' name, casting
out devils in Jesus' name,

doing many wonderful
works in Jesus' name,

and Jesus said it was
because they didn't do the will

have heard people say:

away with when Jesus came. "

the cross when Jesus died. "

Others will say: "Jesus
fulfilled the law, therefore we"

"don't have to", others will
say: "we're under grace now,"

"so law then becomes bondage,
any kind of commandment"

"is wrong for us", or
some kind of version of that.

So very sincere
people often want to wonder

what do those texts mean
that people use try to do away

with God's law, when the Bible
seems to indicate so clearly

follow the 10 commandments.

I'm going to take you through

some texts up on the
screen rather quickly,

these 2 sides develop.

some texts rather quickly,

Here's what the Bible

people. Let's look at 1 again

Jesus is speaking, He

means that people are going to

that's what it's telling us here

smallest part of God's law

another confusing text,

abolished, but it says that

people think that that law

that was abolished
was the 10 commandments.

an apparent contradiction.
As we looked at opening night,

contradiction, we need to study

more because when we study more
we'll see that that apparcency

is only in our own mind,
it's not really in the Bible.

Now, our last night we
found out that there is sin

in our world. I asked
you "how many believe"

"that there's sin?"
And all the hands went up,

sin, then we want to know

what sin is. So we
looked for a Biblical

definition of what sin
is, and 1 John 3:4 gave us

that if we have sin today,

because the sin is the breaking

other is of a ceremonial type,

concerning rituals of
food and drink, and matters

of that kind.
Now, it's nice to see

that Billy Graham said
that because he was right

when he said that, but we want
to make sure that we don't take

the word of man, we've learned
that in the seminar, right?

Bible and see where this comes

take a look at these

and see what was contained

once a year, and it can fall

Sunday, some years it might be

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...
who knows, it depends

so same with these days.

calendar, not necessarily

But anyway, they did come
