1000 year period
as the Millennium.

The word "millennium"
is actually not found

in the scriptures, so
where exactly do we get it from?

Well, the church that
ruled during that long period

called the Dark Ages
spoke Latin in their services,

and so, when they came to
this 1000 year period time

and they formed the word

has come over into the English

to the 1000 year period of time.

confusion about this particular

time period, a lot of
questions that people ask,

So, Jesus is going to
come at the second coming,

2 groups of people on
the earth during that time,

and the Bible calls those
2 groups by different names,

them the wheat and the tares,

the Bible calls them
the sheep and the goats,

the narrow road
and the broad road,

the saved and
lost, good and evil,

truth and error,
all these different ways

of basically describing
the same 2 groups of people.

the group of the wicked

for them to look up and
to actually hide themselves

the mountains, the elements

of the earth, than it is to
look into the face of Jesus,

it's just such a tragedy,

but what this tells us
it that when Jesus comes

there will not be a
second chance for salvation.

The whole idea that
there's going to be a type

of coming of the Lord,
followed by a second chance,

is a great and awful
deception that is being put on

people today to
lure them to sleep.

Again, people wouldn't
preach that, they don't mean

to do that, but that has
that net result; the people say:

"well, if I don't get
saved the first time,"

chance after Jesus comes"

" Friends, don't believe that.

The Bible does not teach that.

a look at what happens

of this 1000 years.

the coming of Jesus and then

shows us the beginning

of the 1000 years, or as we
would call it: the Millennium.

Now, verse 3 is very intriguing
to me, I wonder if it is to you,

it is the Devil's going to
be shut up so he can deceive

That tells us very plainly

that tonight the Devil IS
out there deceiving the nations,

he's doing a very
good job of it too,

but it says that there's
going to be a little season

he's going to be let free again.

Now, how long is
that little season?

The straight
answer is: we don't know.

The Greek word that's
translated "season" is "cronos",

it means time, it's
where we get our English word

"chronology" from.

It means "a little
time", or "a little delay"

after the 1000 years,
when he's going to be set free.

There's something very important
here, it says that that group

had not worshipped
the beast, or his image,

or received his mark.
That tells us that that group

of people went
through a time on the earth

when those
issues were right there,

they had to confront them,
they had to get the victory

over them. This,
again, totally negates

the secret rapture theory
which says that they won't

have to face it, that the church
will be taken off of the earth

before all of those things
happen; well, the Bible doesn't

teach that friends, it
says that these people were here

and they got the
victory over that beast's power,

what exactly takes place

categories: righteous living

happens when the Lord Jesus

to be reserved for the righteous

the presence of a holy God.

You see, Christ's coming
is absolute glory, isn't it?

Jesus has inherent glory
within Him, inherent power.

The first time that Jesus
came, He had to veil that glory

that He could live upon
men and we could dwell with Him

and not be destroyed.

The second time, His
glory is going to be unveiled

and He will come as King

unveiled, it nearly consumes
