bit of an analogy to help

In order for us to
have light in this room

We need a bulb, or
a housing of some kind

it, that's the electricity.

If we were able to go

say, "that there was some kind"

of us, an immortal soul,"

"that flies off at death
to a place called Paradise,"

"if you've been righteos,
or goes down to a place"

been wicked, or unrighteous."

And they say that that
happens immediately upon death.

I want to look at this a little
bit more carefully with you.

the word "soul", or "spirit",

you would think that if

soul, or an immortal spirit,

so. You ought to be sure

immortal soul sounds good,

in the immortality of the soul.

And the ancient cultures
like the Greeks and Romans,

immortality of the soul,

so these kingdoms believed
it and have simply passed it on

the time of the Dark Ages.

is a sleep in God's eyes.

Death is when a person

they have no consciousness

beautiful rest in sleep

nothing to trouble the person.

resurrection, it will be to them

passed by. Now, we who live on

but to the person that's died,

That's a beautiful thing.

assure you" - that's the meaning

here, you may have suffered

to be with that person again.

Jesus went to the cross,
