I don't understand. 00:00:01.70\00:00:04.37 Why did this have to happen to me? 00:00:04.40\00:00:08.20 I feel like I just can't make sense of things. 00:00:08.24\00:00:12.44 I need answers. 00:00:12.47\00:00:15.81 Where is God? 00:00:15.84\00:00:17.18 Hello and welcome to Raw Questions Relevant Answers. 00:00:21.38\00:00:25.95 Today we're talking about media and entertainment. 00:00:25.99\00:00:29.62 Media and entertainment. 00:00:29.66\00:00:31.09 You know, if you're watching this right now, 00:00:31.13\00:00:33.29 then you have some participation in media. 00:00:33.33\00:00:35.96 It's everywhere, it's something 00:00:36.00\00:00:37.33 that you can't really get away from in this day and age, 00:00:37.37\00:00:39.93 but what is appropriate for the Christian? 00:00:39.97\00:00:43.00 How do we handle the issues of media and entertainment? 00:00:43.04\00:00:46.64 I have special guests with me today, 00:00:46.68\00:00:48.71 our co-host, actually, Dee Casper and Mark Paden. 00:00:48.74\00:00:52.35 And we are going to be looking at this together. 00:00:52.38\00:00:55.98 So the first question 00:00:56.02\00:00:57.35 that we have here today is from a 21 year old male 00:00:57.39\00:01:01.39 who is asking, 00:01:01.42\00:01:02.92 "Does it matter what we watch or listen to 00:01:02.96\00:01:06.26 if it's just in moderation?" 00:01:06.29\00:01:09.33 Yeah. 00:01:09.36\00:01:10.70 So... 00:01:10.73\00:01:12.07 I let you go first on that one. 00:01:12.10\00:01:13.44 I'll give in. Yeah, this is kind of my job. 00:01:13.47\00:01:15.30 You're a filmmaker. 00:01:15.34\00:01:16.67 Yes, I make films. 00:01:16.71\00:01:18.34 And actually, the first thing 00:01:18.37\00:01:20.18 I want to do 00:01:20.21\00:01:21.54 is just define some of the things in the medium. 00:01:21.58\00:01:24.55 So the Open that people just watch, 00:01:24.58\00:01:27.72 this is a film that we did specifically for this. 00:01:27.75\00:01:32.39 It is a very distilled form of communication, film is, right? 00:01:32.42\00:01:36.93 In that, like I could break down each shot of that, 00:01:36.96\00:01:39.59 how it's put together, what is in each shot, 00:01:39.63\00:01:42.20 how it's framed, 00:01:42.23\00:01:43.57 how we shot off the slow motion, 00:01:43.60\00:01:45.43 everything about it is there specifically 00:01:45.47\00:01:47.84 to communicate very strongly a certain thing, 00:01:47.87\00:01:52.37 and that's all of film, 00:01:52.41\00:01:53.74 you know, in the whole industry. 00:01:53.78\00:01:55.44 It's a very distilled form of art and communication. 00:01:55.48\00:01:59.98 There's another principle that we have that 00:02:00.02\00:02:03.08 by beholding you become changed, right? 00:02:03.12\00:02:05.29 In anything in life, the more we look at something, 00:02:05.32\00:02:08.89 the more we become like that, right? 00:02:08.92\00:02:11.66 Now when those two things collide, 00:02:11.69\00:02:14.56 the effectiveness of the film medium 00:02:14.60\00:02:18.33 and the principle that by beholding we become changed, 00:02:18.37\00:02:21.20 we come up into a situation 00:02:21.24\00:02:22.70 where when we're watching stuff 00:02:22.74\00:02:24.67 that is communicating principles, 00:02:24.71\00:02:27.21 that are decidedly unchristian, 00:02:27.24\00:02:29.14 we have very little barrier to those principles 00:02:29.18\00:02:32.78 becoming our own. 00:02:32.81\00:02:34.15 So if you or I spend a tremendous amount of time 00:02:34.18\00:02:37.39 watching stuff that is not Christian in nature, 00:02:37.42\00:02:40.29 that is putting out principles that are bad, 00:02:40.32\00:02:43.19 and it may not even be just drugs, sex, or violence, 00:02:43.22\00:02:45.56 but do we really want to watch a lot of stuff 00:02:45.59\00:02:48.66 and become a lot of stuff 00:02:48.70\00:02:50.17 that is a lot of backbiting, gossip, 00:02:50.20\00:02:52.73 and hatred, and those types of things? 00:02:52.77\00:02:55.00 That's what we open ourselves up 00:02:55.04\00:02:56.50 to when we start partaking 00:02:56.54\00:02:59.07 of these different types of entertainments. 00:02:59.11\00:03:02.48 There's another principle, I think, 00:03:02.51\00:03:03.85 that's important here in the idea of like, 00:03:03.88\00:03:07.52 how we may be view the topic of temperance, you know. 00:03:07.55\00:03:10.39 Like, it's that we... 00:03:10.42\00:03:11.95 The idea of moderation, 00:03:11.99\00:03:13.32 you know, like if it's okay 00:03:13.36\00:03:15.12 if I take in things that I know 00:03:15.16\00:03:16.96 that I shouldn't be around, 00:03:16.99\00:03:18.33 but as long as I don't do a lot of it, 00:03:18.36\00:03:20.06 it's not a problem, 00:03:20.10\00:03:21.56 which is somewhat implied in the question. 00:03:21.60\00:03:22.93 This is an area where we can get ourselves in trouble 00:03:22.96\00:03:25.17 because anytime we take a willful step in a direction 00:03:25.20\00:03:27.97 that we know isn't in our best interest, 00:03:28.00\00:03:29.80 no matter how far we go, it's not the right step. 00:03:29.84\00:03:32.51 Yeah. Does that make sense? 00:03:32.54\00:03:33.88 Like, if we know if God has convicted us 00:03:33.91\00:03:35.84 that this is not something that is in harmony 00:03:35.88\00:03:37.98 with the will of God 00:03:38.01\00:03:39.35 or with the principles of how heaven operates, 00:03:39.38\00:03:41.82 it's not a wise choice for us to make, 00:03:41.85\00:03:44.92 to move in that direction 00:03:44.95\00:03:46.29 even if it's a short step, right? 00:03:46.32\00:03:48.06 For our personal enjoyment and downtime. 00:03:48.09\00:03:49.89 If someone's going to be a missionary in a hostile area, 00:03:49.92\00:03:52.53 that's a whole another situation, right? 00:03:52.56\00:03:53.90 But when someone's willfully 00:03:53.93\00:03:55.26 subjecting themselves to influences, 00:03:55.30\00:03:58.30 it's best for us to abstain from things 00:03:58.33\00:04:00.50 that are not in our best interest. 00:04:00.54\00:04:02.17 The principle temperance is actually to abstain 00:04:02.20\00:04:03.91 from what's not in your best interest, 00:04:03.94\00:04:05.77 and to, in moderation, 00:04:05.81\00:04:08.04 partake of the things that are in your best interest. 00:04:08.08\00:04:10.85 Say about some other principle to maybe consider. 00:04:10.88\00:04:13.62 Philippians 4:8 tells us, "Finally, brethren, 00:04:13.65\00:04:16.62 whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are noble, 00:04:16.65\00:04:19.29 whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, 00:04:19.32\00:04:22.22 whatsoever things are lovely, 00:04:22.26\00:04:23.73 whatsoever things are of good report, 00:04:23.76\00:04:25.73 if there is any virtue 00:04:25.76\00:04:27.10 and if there is anything praiseworthy, 00:04:27.13\00:04:28.46 meditate on these things." 00:04:28.50\00:04:30.67 And I ask myself sometimes, with a lot of the media 00:04:30.70\00:04:34.17 or entertainment that I'm taking in, 00:04:34.20\00:04:36.14 does it fit those characteristics? 00:04:36.17\00:04:39.14 And if it doesn't, should I be meditating on it 00:04:39.17\00:04:42.21 even if it's a little bit? 00:04:42.24\00:04:44.41 And there's a couple of things here. 00:04:44.45\00:04:46.01 First of all, there are some things 00:04:46.05\00:04:47.72 that are okay in moderation, 00:04:47.75\00:04:50.55 but if you have too much, 00:04:50.59\00:04:52.42 it's not a good thing, right? 00:04:52.45\00:04:54.12 Food, you need it actually, though in the wrong amounts 00:04:54.16\00:04:58.33 or the wrong types, it's not good. 00:04:58.36\00:05:01.00 Media can be like that. 00:05:01.03\00:05:02.36 Some of it is good, 00:05:02.40\00:05:03.77 but too much of it can be a problem, 00:05:03.80\00:05:05.70 and then some of it just may not be helpful at all. 00:05:05.73\00:05:09.57 And then why am I doing that? 00:05:09.60\00:05:11.41 I know for me 00:05:11.44\00:05:12.91 this is a struggle because growing up, 00:05:12.94\00:05:14.88 I wasted a lot of my childhood watching TV and media. 00:05:14.91\00:05:19.81 I would just come home and I would say, 00:05:19.85\00:05:21.32 "No, I'm just going to watch one thing." 00:05:21.35\00:05:22.72 And then four hours later, there we were. 00:05:22.75\00:05:25.15 And I realized for me, it actually was an addiction, 00:05:25.19\00:05:28.06 that whether I was watching bad or good stuff, 00:05:28.09\00:05:30.19 that was a problem, 00:05:30.23\00:05:31.59 and I had to just stop in order to get away from that. 00:05:31.63\00:05:35.33 And so weighing that up, 00:05:35.36\00:05:37.33 and then also the content that we're looking at. 00:05:37.37\00:05:40.94 It's a highly emotional vehicle too, 00:05:40.97\00:05:42.94 whether it be music or digital media and movies, 00:05:42.97\00:05:45.77 they're highly emotional. 00:05:45.81\00:05:47.14 And sometimes one of the reasons 00:05:47.18\00:05:48.51 why we're going there in the first place 00:05:48.54\00:05:50.31 is because we're just looking to escape reality. 00:05:50.35\00:05:53.08 We want to live vicariously through the emotions 00:05:53.11\00:05:55.18 that we're partaking of. 00:05:55.22\00:05:56.55 And again, even if it's, 00:05:56.58\00:05:58.12 you know, Christian music, 00:05:58.15\00:05:59.49 but they just really gets us jazz 00:05:59.52\00:06:00.86 and excited or moves our emotions 00:06:00.89\00:06:02.22 to one direction or another, 00:06:02.26\00:06:03.93 even if it's stuff that we feel 00:06:03.96\00:06:05.29 that heaven would approve of, 00:06:05.33\00:06:06.66 the problem is we're running to something else 00:06:06.70\00:06:08.73 to deal with the current problem internally, 00:06:08.76\00:06:10.77 emotionally, and psychologically 00:06:10.80\00:06:12.97 as opposed to coming to Jesus with our pain, 00:06:13.00\00:06:15.60 and that's where even something that's a good thing 00:06:15.64\00:06:17.71 can be a problem 00:06:17.74\00:06:19.07 because we're using it to supplants 00:06:19.11\00:06:20.78 or usurp the place in our heart that only God should have, 00:06:20.81\00:06:24.05 that He's the thing 00:06:24.08\00:06:25.41 we should run to when we're hurting, 00:06:25.45\00:06:26.85 not something else if that make sense. 00:06:26.88\00:06:30.39 Do you have any other point you want to go through? 00:06:30.42\00:06:31.75 Yeah, I just wanted to also comment... 00:06:31.79\00:06:34.02 You know, 00:06:34.06\00:06:36.39 I've seen a lot of my peers growing up within the church 00:06:36.42\00:06:40.16 and I've seen in my own experience 00:06:40.20\00:06:41.63 and how starting down a road 00:06:41.66\00:06:46.33 of watching stuff that isn't the worst, 00:06:46.37\00:06:50.77 I mean, it just has a little bit of... 00:06:50.81\00:06:52.37 I mean it's not... 00:06:52.41\00:06:53.74 You wouldn't say it sinful, but, you know, 00:06:53.78\00:06:56.14 you get what I'm saying, right? 00:06:56.18\00:06:57.51 You start down that road, and I know in my experience, 00:06:57.55\00:06:59.78 once I started down that road, it ended when... 00:06:59.81\00:07:02.98 I started this far from God, I ended this far from God. 00:07:03.02\00:07:06.89 And that's something 00:07:06.92\00:07:08.26 that we really have to take into consideration 00:07:08.29\00:07:09.62 is that these types of things... 00:07:09.66\00:07:12.96 You're playing with your eternal salvation. 00:07:12.99\00:07:14.60 Right. It's not a laughing matter. 00:07:14.63\00:07:17.27 You give him an inch, he takes a mile 00:07:17.30\00:07:18.63 as far as Satan like. 00:07:18.67\00:07:20.24 To willfully take a step in a direction 00:07:20.27\00:07:22.57 that heaven would not have us take 00:07:22.60\00:07:24.44 is opening a door that's not easy to close 00:07:24.47\00:07:27.58 because it's by degrees many times that people end up 00:07:27.61\00:07:30.45 in places they never thought they would, right? 00:07:30.48\00:07:32.58 And no one comes out of their high school graduation 00:07:32.61\00:07:35.18 thinking, "I'm going to be a drug addict, 00:07:35.22\00:07:36.62 living on the side of the road in, 00:07:36.65\00:07:38.62 you know, in a metropolitan area." 00:07:38.65\00:07:40.09 Like that's not what they want to do, 00:07:40.12\00:07:41.99 but this is what happens, that you know one decision 00:07:42.02\00:07:44.23 leads to another decision leads to another. 00:07:44.26\00:07:46.66 And it's far better for us to take steps 00:07:46.70\00:07:48.73 that would be in the direction that heaven would approve of, 00:07:48.76\00:07:51.47 than to try to survive 00:07:51.50\00:07:52.87 and think that we could handle a situation 00:07:52.90\00:07:55.64 that's not in the direction heaven could approve of. 00:07:55.67\00:07:57.67 True. Good points. Good points. 00:07:57.71\00:08:00.24 We'll get a little more specific on this next one. 00:08:00.28\00:08:02.31 Let's do this. 00:08:02.34\00:08:03.68 We have someone that's asking, 00:08:03.71\00:08:05.05 "Do I really have to give up pop music etc. 00:08:05.08\00:08:08.55 to get into heaven 00:08:08.58\00:08:10.39 as long as it doesn't have cussing 00:08:10.42\00:08:12.72 or saying bad things?" 00:08:12.75\00:08:14.62 So can you get into heaven as long as you're not cussing 00:08:14.66\00:08:17.09 and saying bad things? 00:08:17.13\00:08:19.06 Good question, right? Yeah. 00:08:19.09\00:08:20.66 I think this is... 00:08:20.70\00:08:22.16 The fundamental thing in this question that I see, 00:08:22.20\00:08:26.87 we want to have as much of something 00:08:26.90\00:08:29.60 as we possibly can 00:08:29.64\00:08:30.97 while still thinking that we're okay, you know. 00:08:31.01\00:08:34.41 And I'm not just putting this on the asker of the question, 00:08:34.44\00:08:36.78 I'm saying like, I've seen this in my own experience. 00:08:36.81\00:08:39.41 When I ask similar types of questions, it's like... 00:08:39.45\00:08:42.38 "You know, I really want to do this and, I mean, 00:08:42.42\00:08:44.75 as long as it doesn't have this and it doesn't have this..." 00:08:44.79\00:08:47.89 My biggest thing with this whole type of question is, 00:08:47.92\00:08:51.19 okay, maybe it doesn't have... 00:08:51.23\00:08:53.56 Maybe it's not dropping the F bomb, 00:08:53.60\00:08:55.30 maybe it's not doing some of these other things, 00:08:55.33\00:08:58.13 but is it really advancing good principles? 00:08:58.17\00:09:00.94 Let's take a lot of the love songs. 00:09:00.97\00:09:02.77 Are the love songs really advancing 00:09:02.80\00:09:05.01 true genuine deep Christ-like love? 00:09:05.04\00:09:07.94 Yeah. Or is it an emotional frenzy? 00:09:07.98\00:09:10.41 Like Christianity is not just made up of... 00:09:10.45\00:09:13.11 Not of the world's version of morality, 00:09:13.15\00:09:16.48 there's this world's version of morality 00:09:16.52\00:09:18.19 that as long as it doesn't have drugs, sex, or violence, 00:09:18.22\00:09:20.52 then it's morally okay. 00:09:20.56\00:09:22.22 From the Christian perspective, it goes a lot deeper. 00:09:22.26\00:09:24.59 Not only is it those things, it's also, 00:09:24.63\00:09:26.56 are we loving like Christ loves? 00:09:26.59\00:09:28.06 Are we selfish? 00:09:28.10\00:09:29.43 Or are we backbiting? 00:09:29.46\00:09:31.60 Are we criticizing? 00:09:31.63\00:09:33.07 There's a host of other principles 00:09:33.10\00:09:35.74 straight from the character of Christ 00:09:35.77\00:09:37.34 that God wants us to be like. 00:09:37.37\00:09:38.71 And if we're listening to a lot of things 00:09:38.74\00:09:41.54 that are pushing out principles 00:09:41.58\00:09:43.55 that are totally not Christ-like, 00:09:43.58\00:09:45.78 that's what we're going to become. 00:09:45.81\00:09:47.58 The world view of the artist is what comes along the medium 00:09:47.62\00:09:52.02 that they're using, right? 00:09:52.05\00:09:53.59 And so like if... 00:09:53.62\00:09:54.96 It's a very good point that Mark is making 00:09:54.99\00:09:56.32 that if their world view is that women are objects, 00:09:56.36\00:09:59.66 and even if we don't use bad words, 00:09:59.69\00:10:01.06 but we're implying that women are objects. 00:10:01.10\00:10:02.80 This is not a world view that heaven would approve of 00:10:02.83\00:10:04.83 because women aren't objects, 00:10:04.87\00:10:07.34 they are precious valuable beings 00:10:07.37\00:10:10.04 made in the image of God and should be treated as much. 00:10:10.07\00:10:12.84 If it's teaching about... 00:10:12.87\00:10:14.21 It's about hustling and getting what you need 00:10:14.24\00:10:16.24 to get forward at the expense of anyone else around you, 00:10:16.28\00:10:19.08 but they don't use bad words, it's still not a principle 00:10:19.11\00:10:21.58 that the King of the heaven could approve of. 00:10:21.62\00:10:23.59 And we could go on and on and on... 00:10:23.62\00:10:24.95 Yeah. 00:10:24.99\00:10:26.32 There are emotions tied to what's delivered, 00:10:26.35\00:10:28.36 and they know this as far as how these things are packaged, 00:10:28.39\00:10:30.43 whether it be movies or whether it be music. 00:10:30.46\00:10:32.53 Even in novels and stories and stuff like that. 00:10:32.56\00:10:35.23 But two, with that comes there... 00:10:35.26\00:10:38.60 You may have an emotional connection 00:10:38.63\00:10:40.40 and what comes with that emotional connection 00:10:40.44\00:10:41.90 to what you're hearing 00:10:41.94\00:10:43.27 is a world view that you don't agree with, 00:10:43.30\00:10:45.74 and those two come as a one size fits all package, 00:10:45.77\00:10:48.74 you get it all in one. 00:10:48.78\00:10:50.11 You can't choose one or the other. 00:10:50.15\00:10:51.48 "I just connect emotionally here, 00:10:51.51\00:10:52.85 but I don't like that." 00:10:52.88\00:10:54.22 You're willfully accepting both. 00:10:54.25\00:10:56.22 Yes. 00:10:56.25\00:10:57.59 And that's where we need to choose wisely 00:10:57.62\00:10:58.95 when it comes to the shopping. 00:10:58.99\00:11:00.32 The scripture tells us 00:11:00.36\00:11:01.69 that out of the abundance of the heart, 00:11:01.72\00:11:03.06 the mouth speaks. 00:11:03.09\00:11:04.43 And the big thing I found with music especially 00:11:04.46\00:11:07.33 is that it speaks to the heart. 00:11:07.36\00:11:08.96 Yes. 00:11:09.00\00:11:10.33 It has a way to move us that just words alone don't. 00:11:10.37\00:11:14.87 And because of that, music can be 00:11:14.90\00:11:16.24 humongously powerful, 00:11:16.27\00:11:18.21 but it can also have a big effect 00:11:18.24\00:11:20.01 we don't realize at less than even cerebral level, 00:11:20.04\00:11:23.51 those messages come in. 00:11:23.55\00:11:25.51 And this kind of relates to the next question 00:11:25.55\00:11:27.98 which, in the light of all this, 00:11:28.02\00:11:30.09 someone is asking, 00:11:30.12\00:11:31.45 "So how do we know 00:11:31.49\00:11:33.49 what is best for a Christian to watch 00:11:33.52\00:11:35.76 or listen to without being legalistic?" 00:11:35.79\00:11:38.19 It's a 22 year old male saying, "What do I do now?" 00:11:38.23\00:11:41.00 So here's one thing that I just want to say, 00:11:41.03\00:11:43.23 let's define legalism. 00:11:43.26\00:11:44.60 Legalism is not obedience. 00:11:44.63\00:11:46.27 Legalism is trying to obey to earn God's favor. 00:11:46.30\00:11:50.01 There's nothing legalistic about saying, 00:11:50.04\00:11:52.54 "God, what do you want me to do? 00:11:52.57\00:11:54.04 How can I best live in accordance with Your will?" 00:11:54.08\00:11:56.58 That's obedience. Christ did that. 00:11:56.61\00:11:58.68 So the first thing is to recognize 00:11:58.71\00:12:00.58 as long as I'm not trying to do 00:12:00.62\00:12:03.08 as many principals as I can just 00:12:03.12\00:12:04.45 so I can be saved, 00:12:04.49\00:12:05.82 if I'm coming out of from the perspective of God, 00:12:05.85\00:12:07.86 I want to be yours. 00:12:07.89\00:12:09.36 I want to really have a mind that is fit for heaven, 00:12:09.39\00:12:13.43 that's not legalism. 00:12:13.46\00:12:15.60 That Paul was saying like there are things 00:12:15.63\00:12:17.23 that are lawful for me, but not all are beneficial. 00:12:17.27\00:12:19.50 Yes, exactly. 00:12:19.53\00:12:20.87 And I've heard it said this way that if we choose... 00:12:20.90\00:12:25.14 If in our decision, we vow not to dishonor heaven, 00:12:25.17\00:12:28.74 a plain path will be set before our feet. 00:12:28.78\00:12:31.15 And I think that's a principle that we can abide by 00:12:31.18\00:12:33.35 in this particular context that... 00:12:33.38\00:12:36.72 Who's the messenger? 00:12:36.75\00:12:38.39 What is their world view? 00:12:38.42\00:12:39.75 And where are they wanting to drive me? 00:12:39.79\00:12:41.66 And it's just like a... 00:12:41.69\00:12:43.02 Like you're not going to get in some stranger's car. 00:12:43.06\00:12:44.39 You don't know how good a driver they are, 00:12:44.43\00:12:46.29 you don't know where they're going, 00:12:46.33\00:12:47.66 you don't know if they're trustworthy, 00:12:47.70\00:12:49.03 it's no different. 00:12:49.06\00:12:50.40 You're getting in their emotional vehicle, 00:12:50.43\00:12:51.77 and they're going to take you somewhere 00:12:51.80\00:12:53.13 whether you want to go there or not. 00:12:53.17\00:12:54.50 That's what these mediums are meant to do. 00:12:54.54\00:12:57.51 They're vehicles to get from one place to another. 00:12:57.54\00:12:59.97 And so the process of storytelling 00:13:00.01\00:13:02.68 and the process of music 00:13:02.71\00:13:04.05 are the two vehicles of storytelling 00:13:04.08\00:13:05.61 and music are immensely powerful, 00:13:05.65\00:13:08.12 and God uses both. 00:13:08.15\00:13:10.12 Satan himself as a musical being, for instance. 00:13:10.15\00:13:12.72 We're told in Ezekiel 28, 00:13:12.75\00:13:14.16 "Your timbrels and your pipes..." 00:13:14.19\00:13:15.86 He was someone who understands the principles of worship 00:13:15.89\00:13:18.76 and how powerful it is to guide the soul. 00:13:18.79\00:13:22.30 Yes, he can use them for evil, 00:13:22.33\00:13:23.93 but it's not that we just abandon music, 00:13:23.97\00:13:25.73 we abandon story, 00:13:25.77\00:13:27.24 it's who's driving the vehicle of these powerful mediums. 00:13:27.27\00:13:31.94 And that's the question, I think, 00:13:31.97\00:13:33.31 that's helpful for me when asking, 00:13:33.34\00:13:35.01 even if it's a Christian, 00:13:35.04\00:13:36.38 are they driving some other vehicle? 00:13:36.41\00:13:39.21 Does that make sense? 00:13:39.25\00:13:40.58 Like if they're using a foreign vehicle 00:13:40.62\00:13:42.12 to transport a message, it still has an impact. 00:13:42.15\00:13:44.49 I need to look into those things. 00:13:44.52\00:13:46.45 Right. 00:13:46.49\00:13:48.72 So as we pull this together, 00:13:48.76\00:13:51.96 what I hear you saying is that that we are God's. 00:13:51.99\00:13:55.53 Whatever we are eating, drinking, or doing 00:13:55.56\00:13:57.90 is for the glory of God. 00:13:57.93\00:13:59.90 And so no, we're not going to be able to give 00:13:59.93\00:14:02.30 all the answers right now on exactly what to do and not do, 00:14:02.34\00:14:05.24 but hopefully these principles help to give 00:14:05.27\00:14:07.21 at least a direction. 00:14:07.24\00:14:08.68 Thank you for watching. 00:14:08.71\00:14:10.05 Visit us online RQRA3ABN on Facebook. 00:14:10.08\00:14:13.52
