I think that circumstances

Daniel is shown
some things in prophecy

that he doesn't understand
and he has questions about.

And we find in the end
of Daniel 8:27, it says,

"Daniel fainted and was
sick for days afterwards

and then he rose and
went about his business,
00:02:57.31\00:02:59.01
no one understood the vision."

And it comes down, years
later, we find chapter 9,

the first year of King
Darius that he's praying again,

he's praying for his people,

he's praying
with his whole heart.

And God actually
sends him another vision

that helps him understand
what he didn't before.

And it teaches me
an important lesson,

Daniel never quit praying.

I don't know, you know,
why all of this happened.

We see some
insights in this passage

into some of the
battle between good and evil

that's happening around this.

But there are times
where I believe that

we just continue to
pray, to leave it to God,

but yet he got up, he
went about his business.

And that was a big thing.

He didn't let those

stop him from doing what

to believe what God said

I think the other
thing too with all that is

experienced this is you get in

a kind of this mindset of,
you hear all these impressions

and you want to do God's will,
you want to do what's right,

and so this conscientiousness
leads to some pretty

outlandish things, you know,

like I've had friends
who feel deeply impressed

to share something
at the end of a message.

And it's not the
right time, right?

So one of the things
that we have to be careful

of is that not all
impressions are from God.

In fact, Satan
actually really capitalizes

on getting us to
follow our own impressions

contrary to the
wisdom of God's Word.

And so what we
really need to do is,

ground ourselves
in the Word of God
