Things have been stolen

continues His verse,

that they may have life,

have it more abundantly."

That's sort of huge
thing is that no matter

what's been stolen from
you and what has happened,

that there is a God who
still says, "There's hope.

There's something better."

It's not just a hell all the way

until the end of life.

He says, "I want you to
have life more abundantly."

His life for the sheep."

And that's the way
that this happens, you know.

happening in the world.

of wheat and tares,

and how these tares grow up.

And they ask, you

And in the story, Jesus says to,

enemy has done this."

We have an enemy, and
that's huge to realize.

for those things to happen.

planted all that nasty junk

through, but Jesus still says,

There's this promise in
Old Testament where it says

that God will restore where
the locust had eaten and taken.

That even we've had a situation

where an outsider
has come and violated,

and robbed, and stolen,

that He is able to restore

those lost years and bring good.

You think of the
experience of Job

that we're told at
the end of his life,

his story was transformed
when he prayed for his friends,

but also told
that he received double

what he had before

than what he had at
the first time around.

And I think it's amazing

that even though he
went through this hardship,

God was with him
every step of the way,

silenced his accusers for him.

He didn't have to do it himself.

gave him an abundance

controversy or theodicy,

an explanation for
the existence of evil.

Most times it's that it wasn't
God's fault when it started,

and that God's
going to put an end to it.

But there is this middle ground
that we really wrestle with

that I wish we
would address more.

One of the things that
Jesus talks about in John 16

when talking about the
ministry of the Holy Spirit

is that He is going
to convict the world,

not just religious people.

He's going to
convict the world of sin,

of righteousness in judgment.

We see it
throughout the Old Testament

and the New Testament,

a God who is
pursuing, pursuing, pursuing

and trying to put an end
to nonsense in people's lives,

the death of the wicked,"

but that the wicked
turn from his ways,"

being made to every violator,

evil on this planet,

the Spirit of God is

to cease and desist
and respond to the cross.

And I think we cannot overlook
that even in the midst of chaos

things in the world,

there's a God in heaven

who is tenaciously
pursuing each individual's soul

to respond to be saved.

the history of our earth,

that we may not find a fully
satisfactory answer towards.

have to trust the heart of God.

in His Word of His love for us

and has proved it in
so many ways, through Him,

we need to come to a place

those thoughts in our mind,

those destructive

God doesn't hear, He
doesn't care about me."

We need to
readdress those with truth.

intentional about saying,

this thought, no, that's a lie.

taking every thought captive

to the obedience of Christ,

thoughts that aren't in harmony

and rearrange
our system of truth

close with an appeal for those

who may be just wrestling
with this whole process,

know that there's a God
in heaven who hates pain,

go through your pain

and the
consequences of all abuse,

of all harm to ensure
that all could be saved.

He does what it
takes for all to be saved,

the midst of this conflict
