I don't understand 00:00:01.80\00:00:04.50 why did this have to happen to me? 00:00:04.53\00:00:08.14 I feel like I just can't make sense of things. 00:00:08.17\00:00:12.44 I need answers. 00:00:12.47\00:00:15.81 Where is God? 00:00:15.84\00:00:17.18 Where is God? 00:00:20.72\00:00:25.12 It's a huge question. 00:00:25.15\00:00:26.52 It's a question that has led to people rejecting God, 00:00:26.55\00:00:31.16 adopting atheism because they didn't believe 00:00:31.19\00:00:33.60 that God was there when they needed Him. 00:00:33.63\00:00:36.70 We're going to look at that question today. 00:00:36.73\00:00:38.67 Welcome to Raw Questions Relevant Answers. 00:00:38.70\00:00:41.80 In this program, we address questions 00:00:41.84\00:00:43.71 that young people have sent in. 00:00:43.74\00:00:45.54 People like yourself are asking these questions, 00:00:45.57\00:00:48.34 and we're going to take a look at that today. 00:00:48.38\00:00:49.94 My name is Michelle Doucoumes. 00:00:49.98\00:00:51.71 I'm your host, and I have my co-hosts with me, 00:00:51.75\00:00:54.12 Dee Casper and Mark Paden. 00:00:54.15\00:00:56.82 We have some big questions here today, guys. 00:00:56.85\00:00:59.82 And we're going to jump right into this 00:00:59.85\00:01:01.56 because I believe these are super important questions 00:01:01.59\00:01:04.19 for our life and for our faith. 00:01:04.23\00:01:07.10 First question comes from a 15-year-old female 00:01:07.13\00:01:10.03 in Tennessee who's saying, 00:01:10.07\00:01:12.20 "I don't understand the meaning of my life. 00:01:12.23\00:01:15.70 I feel alone. 00:01:15.74\00:01:17.41 God doesn't give any evidence that He is here. 00:01:17.44\00:01:20.91 I know He hates me 00:01:20.94\00:01:22.74 because He's never seemed to care. 00:01:22.78\00:01:25.51 Why am I such a failure? 00:01:25.55\00:01:27.88 I gave up such a long time ago. 00:01:27.92\00:01:30.39 When will God become real in my life?" 00:01:30.42\00:01:35.02 Wow. 00:01:35.06\00:01:36.39 You know, I have to say 00:01:36.42\00:01:37.76 there is a lot of beauty in this question 00:01:37.79\00:01:40.30 because it's raw. 00:01:40.33\00:01:41.73 You know, it's something that it's... 00:01:41.76\00:01:45.07 I think we sometimes hold back on some of these questions 00:01:45.10\00:01:48.04 because we feel like, 00:01:48.07\00:01:49.80 you know, somebody is going to judge us 00:01:49.84\00:01:52.21 for or think less of us because of it, 00:01:52.24\00:01:54.84 but I just want to commend the person 00:01:54.88\00:01:56.64 who's asked this question 00:01:56.68\00:01:58.01 because, you know, praise the Lord 00:01:58.05\00:01:59.38 that they're willing to be honest 00:01:59.41\00:02:00.75 with what they're feeling. 00:02:00.78\00:02:02.88 You know, the first thing I want to say to is that, 00:02:02.92\00:02:05.99 you know, we live in the reality 00:02:06.02\00:02:07.52 of a great controversy, a battle between good and evil 00:02:07.56\00:02:11.13 where Satan is constantly trying to hurt us 00:02:11.16\00:02:14.03 and make us feel bad. 00:02:14.06\00:02:16.23 Satan wants to discourage us. 00:02:16.26\00:02:18.57 That's the plain and simple thing 00:02:18.60\00:02:19.97 because if he can discourage us 00:02:20.00\00:02:21.50 and get us to think that God is against us, 00:02:21.54\00:02:24.31 then he can get us into temptation, 00:02:24.34\00:02:26.37 he can get us to sin and leave God. 00:02:26.41\00:02:29.51 So the first thing that... 00:02:29.54\00:02:31.21 I think the first part of this answer 00:02:31.25\00:02:32.58 that I would give is, you know, 00:02:32.61\00:02:34.72 just for us to realize that 00:02:34.75\00:02:38.45 God is not as bad as Satan portrays Him to be. 00:02:38.49\00:02:41.59 God is actually a lot better 00:02:41.62\00:02:43.49 than how Satan portrays Him to be. 00:02:43.53\00:02:46.23 And the picture we see of God 00:02:46.26\00:02:47.66 is throughout Scripture is God pursuing people 00:02:47.70\00:02:50.67 who don't appreciate, who don't understand, 00:02:50.70\00:02:52.80 who will question Him, 00:02:52.83\00:02:54.47 the text that comes to my mind immediately is... 00:02:54.50\00:02:55.90 Go to Isaiah 49. Okay. 00:02:55.94\00:02:58.37 Isaiah 49, that all throughout the Old Testament 00:02:58.41\00:03:02.34 and the New Testament, 00:03:02.38\00:03:03.71 we see this, God pursuing His people, 00:03:03.75\00:03:05.58 they reject Him, they don't want to hear from Him. 00:03:05.61\00:03:07.18 They want nothing to do with Him. 00:03:07.22\00:03:08.78 And yet He keeps pursuing. 00:03:08.82\00:03:10.62 And then there's this situation in verse 14, 00:03:10.65\00:03:15.96 Isaiah 49:14 says, 00:03:15.99\00:03:18.36 "But Zion said..." 00:03:18.39\00:03:19.73 This is the people whom God has blessed, 00:03:19.76\00:03:22.06 whom God has sustained with life, 00:03:22.10\00:03:23.87 who's opened doors for them 00:03:23.90\00:03:25.33 and brought them lands and other things. 00:03:25.37\00:03:27.40 And then it says, "But Zion..." 00:03:27.44\00:03:28.77 Isaiah 49:14, Zion has said, "The Lord has forsaken me, 00:03:28.80\00:03:32.74 and my Lord has forgotten me." 00:03:32.77\00:03:35.24 And this resonates with the listener here, 00:03:35.28\00:03:38.28 the person who has asked this question 00:03:38.31\00:03:39.65 that seems like God isn't here, He doesn't care. 00:03:39.68\00:03:41.92 But listen to the response of God in verse 15, 00:03:41.95\00:03:44.99 "Can a woman forget her nursing child 00:03:45.02\00:03:47.46 and not have compassion on the son of her womb?" 00:03:47.49\00:03:50.69 He's using the most powerful, emotional language 00:03:50.73\00:03:52.99 He can find as far as that bond, right? 00:03:53.03\00:03:54.93 A closeness. 00:03:54.96\00:03:56.30 And He says, "Certainly, they may forget, 00:03:56.33\00:03:58.87 yet I will not forget you." 00:03:58.90\00:04:01.10 And then He says, 00:04:01.14\00:04:02.47 "See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands, 00:04:02.50\00:04:05.37 your walls are continually before Me." 00:04:05.41\00:04:07.88 This is explicit Calvary language. 00:04:07.91\00:04:10.21 If there's anything that shows that God cares, 00:04:10.25\00:04:12.98 that God has not forgotten us, it's Calvary. 00:04:13.01\00:04:15.95 And He's foretelling what will happen, 00:04:15.98\00:04:18.05 but the point is it's still this is true now, 00:04:18.09\00:04:20.29 so we feel like God isn't there, God doesn't care, 00:04:20.32\00:04:23.06 He just wants to give us a reminder 00:04:23.09\00:04:24.86 in the same way he dealt with the Israelites, 00:04:24.89\00:04:26.26 He'll say to us. 00:04:26.29\00:04:27.63 "Maybe your mother could forget you, 00:04:27.66\00:04:30.40 but I can't because I've paid for you, 00:04:30.43\00:04:33.34 I've bought you, 00:04:33.37\00:04:34.70 and your name is inscribed on the palms of My hands." 00:04:34.74\00:04:37.31 It's really interesting to me in that verse 00:04:37.34\00:04:39.21 that it talks about how your walls 00:04:39.24\00:04:41.84 are continually before Me. 00:04:41.88\00:04:45.51 We have walls in our lives, 00:04:45.55\00:04:48.42 sometimes it's because difficult things 00:04:48.45\00:04:50.42 have happened in our lives, and thus it's made it 00:04:50.45\00:04:53.69 that we protect ourselves 00:04:53.72\00:04:55.39 from other people by putting walls. 00:04:55.42\00:04:58.66 And even subconsciously, this can happen with God, 00:04:58.69\00:05:01.46 we can know intellectually, Jesus loves me, 00:05:01.50\00:05:04.23 He died for me, 00:05:04.27\00:05:05.70 but because of either things we've done 00:05:05.73\00:05:07.44 or other people have done to us, 00:05:07.47\00:05:09.20 the results of our sinful world that we live in, 00:05:09.24\00:05:11.94 it's like a wall goes around our heart. 00:05:11.97\00:05:15.01 And it's difficult because God may be there, 00:05:15.04\00:05:18.51 but we can't see Him through that wall. 00:05:18.55\00:05:20.72 We may not even realize that we have that wall. 00:05:20.75\00:05:23.08 And I love the fact that God is still there. 00:05:23.12\00:05:27.22 He's in the business of trying to break through, 00:05:27.26\00:05:30.16 to find cracks to get in, 00:05:30.19\00:05:32.66 and I invite whoever asked this question 00:05:32.69\00:05:34.80 to maybe think about the fact 00:05:34.83\00:05:36.16 that just because we can't sense God, 00:05:36.20\00:05:38.67 could it be that He's still there, 00:05:38.70\00:05:41.67 and we just can't see it. 00:05:41.70\00:05:43.10 Yes. And this is a picture throughout Scripture. 00:05:43.14\00:05:45.61 I mean, the chiefest example is Jesus Himself on the cross, 00:05:45.64\00:05:49.24 when He literally feels forsaken by God Himself. 00:05:49.28\00:05:52.05 He says, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" 00:05:52.08\00:05:56.22 But we are told in Romans 00:05:56.25\00:05:58.12 that God was in Christ reconciling 00:05:58.15\00:06:00.49 the world to Himself. 00:06:00.52\00:06:02.82 You know, if there's these dark clouds 00:06:02.86\00:06:05.23 all around the cross when Jesus is dying, 00:06:05.26\00:06:07.40 one is tempted to ask the question like, 00:06:07.43\00:06:09.80 "What if God Himself was actually there 00:06:09.83\00:06:12.03 beside Jesus at the cross?" 00:06:12.07\00:06:14.30 You know, there's many instances 00:06:14.34\00:06:15.90 where I think that we see 00:06:15.94\00:06:17.27 this evidence of God being present, 00:06:17.31\00:06:18.64 and we don't sense it at the time, 00:06:18.67\00:06:20.78 but He has been. 00:06:20.81\00:06:22.21 And I think it's a good reminder. 00:06:22.24\00:06:24.31 You know, one other point that I'd like to make 00:06:24.35\00:06:26.08 in regards to this person feeling like a failure 00:06:26.11\00:06:28.75 and like God isn't interested in them, 00:06:28.78\00:06:30.62 doesn't care about them because they failed. 00:06:30.65\00:06:33.36 One of the most beautifully redemptive stories 00:06:33.39\00:06:35.76 in the Old Testament 00:06:35.79\00:06:37.19 is the story of Jonah in Nineveh, right? 00:06:37.23\00:06:39.59 So at the beginning in Jonah 1:2, 00:06:39.63\00:06:44.33 God comes to Jonah and says, "Arise, go to Nineveh, 00:06:44.37\00:06:47.80 that great city, and cry against it, 00:06:47.84\00:06:49.67 for their wickedness has come up before Me." 00:06:49.70\00:06:51.61 Like this city is so bad 00:06:51.64\00:06:54.48 that God has to tell prophet to go and talk to them 00:06:54.51\00:06:58.61 because they're that wicked, 00:06:58.65\00:07:00.08 like this is an exceptionally wicked city. 00:07:00.12\00:07:02.05 I mean, more wicked 00:07:02.08\00:07:03.42 than a lot of the other nations around them, right? 00:07:03.45\00:07:05.12 This is how bad it's getting, 00:07:05.15\00:07:06.86 and yet God tells Jonah to go there. 00:07:06.89\00:07:08.66 And as the story progresses, Jonah doesn't want to go. 00:07:08.69\00:07:11.06 He's terrified of it. 00:07:11.09\00:07:12.43 So he runs from God, 00:07:12.46\00:07:13.80 he gets eventually in this bad storm, 00:07:13.83\00:07:16.46 he gets thrown into the ocean, 00:07:16.50\00:07:17.87 and then God sends a whale to come and grab him 00:07:17.90\00:07:21.00 and take him back to Nineveh. 00:07:21.04\00:07:23.04 And then once he's repented, 00:07:23.07\00:07:24.41 he's willing to go and speak to the Ninevites. 00:07:24.44\00:07:28.21 And then God originally said, 00:07:28.24\00:07:30.25 "Look, if you guys don't repent, 00:07:30.28\00:07:32.41 there's going to be some bad stuff happening." 00:07:32.45\00:07:34.45 And then they repent, and then God doesn't do it. 00:07:34.48\00:07:37.25 He saves them, He spares them. 00:07:37.29\00:07:39.82 Now this is the story of a city that was incredibly wicked, 00:07:39.85\00:07:44.59 totally against God, had no desire for God. 00:07:44.63\00:07:47.56 They were just straight up rebellious and wicked. 00:07:47.60\00:07:50.77 And yet, look at the tenderness that God is dealing with them. 00:07:50.80\00:07:53.94 He did so much to get them 00:07:53.97\00:07:56.47 to be willing to come back to Him. 00:07:56.50\00:07:58.17 And that's what He's going to do for somebody 00:07:58.21\00:08:00.24 that's totally rebellious, 00:08:00.28\00:08:01.98 what about if we keep failing and we're struggling, 00:08:02.01\00:08:04.91 and we're hurting? 00:08:04.95\00:08:06.28 Like a parent wouldn't reprimand a child 00:08:06.31\00:08:11.95 when they keep failing and failing 00:08:11.99\00:08:14.19 if they're trying. 00:08:14.22\00:08:15.56 It's like God even made it... 00:08:15.59\00:08:17.69 He cared so much, He sent a fish to swallow a man 00:08:17.73\00:08:21.00 just to give him a chance. 00:08:21.03\00:08:22.70 Pretty crazy, and, you know, 00:08:22.73\00:08:25.53 not cutting this conversation off, 00:08:25.57\00:08:27.14 the second question really relates to this as well. 00:08:27.17\00:08:29.47 And I want to read this. 00:08:29.50\00:08:30.84 It says, this is from a 16-year-old female 00:08:30.87\00:08:33.01 from Maryland, "How do I know God exist? 00:08:33.04\00:08:36.91 Whenever I ask Him to help me, He is never there. 00:08:36.95\00:08:40.25 Like I've lived the Christian life, 00:08:40.28\00:08:41.72 done all the right things, yet He is not there for me. 00:08:41.75\00:08:44.99 It's like praying to a wall." 00:08:45.02\00:08:46.55 And so I want to flip that question a little bit. 00:08:46.59\00:08:49.42 We know that, like you said, 00:08:49.46\00:08:51.06 God is compassionate 00:08:51.09\00:08:52.63 even when we are doing maybe the wrong things, 00:08:52.66\00:08:56.10 but what about when we're doing 00:08:56.13\00:08:57.47 what we think are the right things? 00:08:57.50\00:08:59.60 Trying to live the Christian life, 00:08:59.63\00:09:01.37 we're still not maybe experiencing God how we would. 00:09:01.40\00:09:04.04 One of the examples that comes to my mind 00:09:04.07\00:09:05.77 immediately is John the Baptist, 00:09:05.81\00:09:07.31 like this is a guy who is called by Jesus 00:09:07.34\00:09:10.41 and given a commendation by Jesus. 00:09:10.45\00:09:12.21 He's the greatest prophet that ever has lived 00:09:12.25\00:09:13.92 and ever will live. 00:09:13.95\00:09:15.58 And yet this guy, 00:09:15.62\00:09:16.95 as soon as Jesus' ministry comes on the scene, 00:09:16.99\00:09:19.55 when Jesus... 00:09:19.59\00:09:20.92 You would think that He's going to be there 00:09:20.96\00:09:22.29 to see all the miracles that Jesus performs, 00:09:22.32\00:09:23.73 he ends up in prison. 00:09:23.76\00:09:25.63 And it's not because he ends up in prison 00:09:25.66\00:09:27.10 'cause he did something wrong, 00:09:27.13\00:09:28.73 he's incarcerated for only doing what was right. 00:09:28.76\00:09:31.73 And yet, even in this moment, there is a God in heaven 00:09:31.77\00:09:33.84 who loved him, who ministered to his needs 00:09:33.87\00:09:36.10 while he was in that prison cell 00:09:36.14\00:09:37.81 and reminded him of the precious promises of Scripture. 00:09:37.84\00:09:39.97 And even Jesus send the message to him, 00:09:40.01\00:09:41.64 telling him, "I am who you thought I was 00:09:41.68\00:09:45.18 and don't lose sight of that." 00:09:45.21\00:09:46.92 And so I think that there's pictures throughout Scripture 00:09:46.95\00:09:49.32 of people who stood for the right 00:09:49.35\00:09:51.05 and ended up dealing up with difficulty. 00:09:51.09\00:09:52.49 Daniel's another, Mary, Martha and Lazarus, 00:09:52.52\00:09:55.99 people who were good friends of Jesus, 00:09:56.02\00:09:57.49 who went through a great tragedy, 00:09:57.53\00:09:59.23 and yet God brought great glory out of the tragedy 00:09:59.26\00:10:02.16 and the difficultly in a way that they didn't expect. 00:10:02.20\00:10:05.10 They thought He would bring glory out of it 00:10:05.13\00:10:06.47 by healing Lazarus, 00:10:06.50\00:10:07.84 but Jesus bought even more glory 00:10:07.87\00:10:09.20 by raising him from the dead. 00:10:09.24\00:10:10.57 So I hear you saying that sometimes 00:10:10.61\00:10:12.87 God's deliverance comes like Daniel or Shadrach, 00:10:12.91\00:10:16.08 Meshach, and Abednego, 00:10:16.11\00:10:17.45 and He takes them out of the trouble 00:10:17.48\00:10:18.98 or maybe sometimes like John the Baptist, 00:10:19.01\00:10:21.78 God doesn't deliver that way, 00:10:21.82\00:10:23.32 but it doesn't mean that God wasn't there 00:10:23.35\00:10:25.52 or that they did something wrong. 00:10:25.55\00:10:27.02 You know, I want to put in an analogy on this. 00:10:27.06\00:10:29.29 You know, one of the biggest things 00:10:29.32\00:10:30.66 that interferes in interpersonal, 00:10:30.69\00:10:32.36 especially romantic relationships 00:10:32.39\00:10:33.86 is failed expectations, right? 00:10:33.90\00:10:36.20 People will think 00:10:36.23\00:10:37.57 that their significant other doesn't love them 00:10:37.60\00:10:41.27 or doesn't care about them 00:10:41.30\00:10:42.67 when they fail to meet a certain expectation, 00:10:42.70\00:10:45.84 but that isn't necessarily always 00:10:45.87\00:10:47.84 your partner's problem. 00:10:47.88\00:10:49.51 It's sometimes are unreasonable expectations. 00:10:49.54\00:10:52.48 And I think sometimes we kind of come to God, 00:10:52.51\00:10:55.95 can I say with unreasonable expectation sometimes. 00:10:55.98\00:10:58.39 We want God to do certain things for us, 00:10:58.42\00:11:00.32 and we hinge His love of us 00:11:00.36\00:11:02.56 on doing that particular thing for us. 00:11:02.59\00:11:04.63 This is totally true. 00:11:04.66\00:11:05.99 There's actually a commentary on the life of Christ 00:11:06.03\00:11:07.46 called Desire of Ages. 00:11:07.50\00:11:08.83 It has this amazing line, 00:11:08.86\00:11:10.33 I believe it was in the context of John the Baptist, 00:11:10.37\00:11:11.97 but it could be Mary, Martha, and Lazarus, 00:11:12.00\00:11:13.44 but it's relevant in either case, 00:11:13.47\00:11:15.24 where it literally says that they were looking for a Messiah 00:11:15.27\00:11:17.81 who had not been promised, 00:11:17.84\00:11:20.38 and they were discouraged 00:11:20.41\00:11:21.74 because their expectations are based upon 00:11:21.78\00:11:23.28 what they thought Jesus would do 00:11:23.31\00:11:25.31 and when Jesus didn't do those things, 00:11:25.35\00:11:26.85 they thought, "He doesn't love me, He doesn't care." 00:11:26.88\00:11:29.48 But the problem wasn't that Jesus had overpromised 00:11:29.52\00:11:31.69 and underdelivered. 00:11:31.72\00:11:33.05 It's that Jesus didn't meet their expectations 00:11:33.09\00:11:36.02 as opposed to what He said He would do. 00:11:36.06\00:11:38.13 The amazing thing is even in spite of that, 00:11:38.16\00:11:40.10 He got glory out of those situations 00:11:40.13\00:11:41.83 in amazing and powerful ways. 00:11:41.86\00:11:43.23 For sure. 00:11:43.26\00:11:44.60 The story of John the Baptist 00:11:44.63\00:11:45.97 has been an inspiration to many souls 00:11:46.00\00:11:48.54 who die in lonely prison cells, 00:11:48.57\00:11:51.11 who were martyrs on behalf of Christ 00:11:51.14\00:11:52.67 in Dark Ages or other times. 00:11:52.71\00:11:54.54 And his story did that for them because God never left him, 00:11:54.58\00:11:57.68 and God knew that he could stand. 00:11:57.71\00:11:59.51 So you're staying that God was doing something. 00:11:59.55\00:12:01.35 He was meeting, maybe even bigger expectations, 00:12:01.38\00:12:04.69 but it wasn't what we expected and that happens. 00:12:04.72\00:12:08.46 We have one more question, and it's pretty big here. 00:12:08.49\00:12:10.49 It says, "Why should I keep trying something 00:12:10.53\00:12:13.26 that does not work? 00:12:13.29\00:12:15.06 The very definition of an idiot 00:12:15.10\00:12:16.97 is someone trying the same thing 00:12:17.00\00:12:18.97 over and over again expecting different results. 00:12:19.00\00:12:21.50 It seems hopeless." 00:12:21.54\00:12:23.87 What would you say to someone 00:12:23.91\00:12:25.24 who's maybe been trying with God, 00:12:25.27\00:12:26.88 but it's been a bit discouraged like that? 00:12:26.91\00:12:29.04 You know, I think honestly, 00:12:29.08\00:12:32.71 I think a lot of it does get back to expectations, 00:12:32.75\00:12:36.48 and also the soil of our own heart. 00:12:36.52\00:12:40.52 It's here in Hebrews 11, 00:12:40.56\00:12:44.36 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, 00:12:44.39\00:12:47.10 for he that cometh to God must believe 00:12:47.13\00:12:49.06 that He is and that He is a rewarder 00:12:49.10\00:12:51.60 of them that diligently seek Him." 00:12:51.63\00:12:53.57 You know, when we come to God, 00:12:53.60\00:12:56.71 one of the most important things is 00:12:56.74\00:12:58.37 that we come in a submissive contrite way 00:12:58.41\00:13:01.91 and in a way that is believing His promises, 00:13:01.94\00:13:05.65 claiming them, and truly seeking Him. 00:13:05.68\00:13:08.08 And the promise is, if we diligently seek Him, 00:13:08.12\00:13:11.62 we will find Him, and we can claim that promise 00:13:11.65\00:13:14.42 when we're seeking Him 00:13:14.46\00:13:15.79 when He doesn't seem to be there. 00:13:15.82\00:13:17.16 We can claim that promise. 00:13:17.19\00:13:18.53 Jesus says, "If any man come unto Me, 00:13:18.56\00:13:20.20 I will no wise cast him out." 00:13:20.23\00:13:22.43 And I remember reading this touching letter 00:13:22.46\00:13:23.80 that's written by one of the founders of our church 00:13:23.83\00:13:26.47 to someone who is struggling. 00:13:26.50\00:13:27.84 And they told them that, 00:13:27.87\00:13:29.20 you know, "If you bring this one promise to Jesus," 00:13:29.24\00:13:30.97 and it may seem like it's the only one you have, 00:13:31.01\00:13:32.51 "But if you come unto Me, you will no wise be cast out." 00:13:32.54\00:13:35.58 They said, "If you claim this promise, 00:13:35.61\00:13:37.45 and that's all you got, 00:13:37.48\00:13:38.81 you are safe as though inside of the city of God." 00:13:38.85\00:13:41.95 Whoa! 00:13:41.98\00:13:43.32 And so no matter how you feel, what else is going on, 00:13:43.35\00:13:46.05 if you trust that He says, "If you come to Me, 00:13:46.09\00:13:47.82 I'm not going to cast you out." 00:13:47.86\00:13:49.19 Those are the words of Jesus, take them to the bank. 00:13:49.22\00:13:51.03 Yeah. Wow! 00:13:51.06\00:13:52.63 So for those of you out here watching 00:13:52.66\00:13:54.30 who may also be asking these questions, 00:13:54.33\00:13:56.93 where is God, what is happening, 00:13:56.97\00:13:59.40 I just really encourage you don't give up. 00:13:59.43\00:14:02.90 We have a God who is pursuing us, 00:14:02.94\00:14:05.51 who wants to have a relationship with us, 00:14:05.54\00:14:08.14 and is waiting for that. 00:14:08.18\00:14:09.81 Please continue to watch, 00:14:09.84\00:14:11.18 and we will continue to do to have answers. 00:14:11.21\00:14:16.62
