on this planet. And, some of you

without hope. What does the

Revelation of Jesus Christ.

That means that the Book
of Revelation is not about the

beast, folks. The beast is
not the hero of Revelation Jesus

is. The Book of Revelation
begins with the words of

revelation of Jesus Christ.
So, all of the prophecies in

this book must focus on
and center in Jesus Christ and

anyone who interprets
revelation apart from Jesus

Christ is a false prophet
that's the first principle.

The second one and most people
don't know this. So, I'm gonna

tell you a secret. The Book
of Revelation quotes the Old

Testament over 600 times. Now,
the Old Testament was written

as the part of the Bible that
was written before the time of

Christ. The Old Testament
is quoted in the Book of

Revelation over 600 times.
What does that mean, it's simple

It's means that, if you ever
gonna understand the Book of

Revelation, you better
know something about the Old

Testament. And, so we're
not gonna go with just a half a

gonna go with the full Bible of

Revelation now. And, then that
brings us to the third point.

do not believe in private

interpretation of the scripture
and I hope that you don't either

the scripture to me in almost

many different books on the
Book of Revelation. Every time

I read a new book
about Revelation is something

different and contradictory to
all the other books that I have

just read because it's a
private interpretation. So,

what we want to do is make
sure that when we interpret the
00:13:36.27\00:13:40.28
symbols of revelation
that we're getting the
00:13:40.31\00:13:44.02
interpretation that God
intended for us to get, isn't

that what you want. Well, then
how do you do it? It's simple

let the Bible interpret itself
You don't need to depend on me,

you don't need to depend on
any man. Let's let the Bible

do you do that. Simple, compare

17, the seventh angel poured

out his bowl in the air and out
of the temple came a loud voice

saying, it is done and
they were flashes of lightning,

rumbling, feels of thunder
and a severe earthquake. No

earthquake like it has ever
occurred since man has been on

the earth, so tremendous was
the quake. The great city was

split into three parts and
the nations collapsed. Now, what

city is he talking about and
he tells us right in the next

verse God remembered Babylon
the great and gave her the cup

filled with the wine of the
fury of this wrath. Now, why

did God remember Babylon?
What did Babylon do that was so

terrible that God poured out
the cup of his wrath upon her

and destroyed her. You'll
never find the answer in the

New Testament. It's found
in the Old Testament. You see

that's why we've to know,
this is one of the places that

Babylon do that was so bad that

God remembered her at the very
end of the age and Babylon is

Daniel the first chapter and
what you need to understand is

that Daniel and Revelation go
together like a hand in a glove

You can't understand Revelation
without Daniel and you can't

understand Daniel without
Revelation. So, turn with me

to Daniel chapter one, verse
1 In the third year of the rain

of Jehoiakim, the King of Judah
Judah was God's land, it was

God's people that's where
Jerusalem was. Nebuchadnezzar,

the king of Babylon came into
Jerusalem and he seized it and
00:16:19.30\00:16:25.24
the lord delivered Jehoiakim,
the king of Judah into his
00:16:25.27\00:16:28.23
hands along with some of the
articles from the temple of God

and these he carried off to
the temple of his God in Babylon
00:16:32.23\00:16:36.20
and put them in the
treasure house of his God. Now,

picture what's happening
Nebuchadnezzar, the king of

Babylon sent his armies into
Jerusalem, they captured the
00:16:44.23\00:16:46.20
city, they captured the people,
but even more than this, they
00:16:46.23\00:16:50.20
went into the temple. The holy
temple that was the place that
00:16:50.23\00:16:55.21
was dedicated only to the
worship of the lord God, the
00:16:55.24\00:16:59.00
almighty God, the creator of
the Heavens and the Earth, they

went into the temple and they
took some holy cups that was
00:17:02.08\00:17:05.25
set aside only to worship God
and they brought them back to

the Babylonian temple and used
them to worship Babylonian Gods

that's why he was upset with
Babylon. They did two things,

they trampled on the things
that he said were holy and they

took his people. It tore
away at the heart of God. Among

those taken captive was the
Prophet Daniel and his three

friends Shadrack, Meshack,
and Abednego. Now, we've to go

back into time to get the
full impact of what's happening.

Jerusalem was the capital
for God's people. The Lord God

almighty, the creator of the
Heavens and the Earth and these

were his people. Now,
they lived in a time when

superstition had it, that when
one country overthrows another

country that proved that their
God was greater than your God.

So, here where God, the Lord God
Almighty's people marching on

the desert sands to Babylon,
captive to Babylon and that

meant that everyone around
them was thinking and saying and

mumbling and believing and
wondering, where is God. Have

you ever wondered, where
is God? In 1991, we did a

revelation now in the Soviet
Union, former Soviet Union now

and I'll always remember a lady
came to me and said you know,

the German armies came through
here and they took my boy, 16-

year-old boy and they drafted
him into the army and they made

him serve in the German army
and I've never seen him and I

pray for him everyday that he
would come back home, where is

your God? Have you ever wondered
where is God? Revelation now in

Cuba, a lady said we've been
praying for 40 years that God

would deliver us from the
prosecution of this mad dictator

Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego
were selected by the king to

enter into a special training
program. And, in that training

program they were to eat daily
the Bible says, off the king's

table then after three years of
training and study, they would
00:20:46.18\00:20:53.11
be serving in the king's court,
but that was a problem for
00:20:53.14\00:20:57.24
Daniel because when he sat down
with his three friends to eat
00:20:57.27\00:21:02.04
at that first meal, they found
that there were things on the
00:21:02.07\00:21:06.18
table to eat and drink that
God have forbidden them to take
00:21:06.21\00:21:12.24
part in. Now, tell me what
would you do, if you were a
00:21:12.27\00:21:18.12
guest in the king's palace
or if you were a guest in the
00:21:18.15\00:21:23.09
White House and you sit to
the table and there is something
00:21:23.12\00:21:29.12
before you that God said not to
take. What would you do? Would
00:21:29.15\00:21:35.09
you take it? Would you be
polite or would you be faithful
00:21:35.12\00:21:39.29
to God. Bible says, Daniel
asks for permission, he asked
00:21:39.32\00:21:45.26
the chief guard, he said
look, we can't eat this, God has
00:21:45.29\00:21:49.20
forbidden us to eat this, give
us something else to eat and
00:21:49.23\00:21:51.25
the king said no way, if
you don't eat that food, he will
00:21:51.28\00:21:54.12
see you, you look of it, the
God said the king will see you
00:21:54.15\00:21:56.20
looking all weak and shriveled
up, you've my head, eat it. Now
00:21:56.23\00:22:02.20
what would you do? I love his
words that says Daniel purposed

in his heart to be faithful to
God and so he said look put us
00:22:07.13\00:22:12.18
to the test, just 10 days let
us have nothing, but vegetables
00:22:12.21\00:22:15.00
to eat and water to drink
for 10 days and then test us and
00:22:15.03\00:22:18.12
see if we're not stronger and
healthier than the others. He

put them to the test, 10 days
later the king found them more
00:22:20.24\00:22:24.00
nourished and stronger than
all of the other man. You know
00:22:24.03\00:22:27.27
what that means, that's means
that God's way is always the
00:22:27.30\00:22:34.15
best way. Amen, God's way is
the best way. You will always

be better off. You will
always come out ahead, if you do

things the way God says instead
of the way the world says no

matter what you read in the
newspaper, no matter what you

what the commercials say, God's

So at the end of the three year

training period the time came
for their final exam and four

young men were brought into
the presence of the king and he

tested them, asked them
questions. And, he found in

verse 20 that they were 10
times wiser than all of the
00:23:11.31\00:23:16.07
magicians and enchanters in his
whole kingdom, 10 times wiser.

It's an amazing thing about God
he has this knack, God has this

ability to take situations
that seem hopeless, to take

situations that seem as though
We're defeated and turn them

into victory. God has ways,
so never give up, hold fast and

that's what he did for Daniel.
He turned defeat into victory

and he gave him a high position
in the kingdom. And, then in

Daniel the second chapter
we find some of the wisdom that

would be well for the leaders
of this world to understand

dream, we're going to discover

had a dream and woke up in the

morning knowing there was
something special about this

dream, but he didn't understand
it, so we called all of his

magicians and enchanters and
his wise men. He said tell me

the dream and give me the
interpretation and they said in

verse 4, O king, live forever,
tell your servants the dream

and we can then interpret
it for you. Now, Nebuchadnezzar

was no dummy. He said just a
minute, if I tell you what my

dream was then you can make up
any interpretation and I won't

know if it's right or not. No,
he said, you tell me the dream

and then I'll know the
interpretation is true. The

wise men, magicians, enchanters
said Oh! King, there is not a
00:25:22.21\00:25:28.15
man on earth who can do
what you have asked, tell us the

dream. The king became angry
and said you tell me the dream

or I'll have you chopped up
in a bunch of pieces. How would

you like to live in a time and
place like that? Actually, he

wasn't asking them to do
anything that they haven't been

boasting all along what they
could do. He was just putting

them to the test. And, so
finally an issue to be created

that all be put to death
and Daniel got word. And, Daniel

made an appointment to go
and see the king. Now, he didn't

know what the dream was, but he
knew God. Daniel had faith and

trust in God. So, he went
home that night with his three

friends and you know what they
did. The Bible tells us that

they prayed. They had a prayer
meeting. I believe that prayer

meeting probably lasted all
night, but Daniel after praying

appeared before the king and
first of all let me just share

with you little bit of his
prayer because I really like

it too. He said praised be the

name of God forever and
ever. Wisdom and power is his,

wisdom and power are his that
means that God knows everything

And, God can do anything.
Wisdom and power are his, he

changes times and seasons.
He sets up kings and he deposes

them. He gives wisdom to
the wise, knowledge to the

discerning, and he reveals deep
and hidden things, praise be to

God. Wisdom is his, power is
his, he sets up kings, when he

is finished, he knocks them
down again. God is in control

God knows everything. God can
do anything, you can trust God

And, he doesn't ask you to
accept it blindly because I

believe in this prophecy. We
see ample prove for anyone, who

really wants to know the answer
to the question, is there a

God? Is he there and does he
really speak to us through the

before you stood a large statue

dazzling statue, enormous in
appearance, awesome. The head

of the statue was made of
pure gold, look at it, see it,

standing there on the plain of
Dura, a large tall statue, it's

head was made of pure gold,
it's breast and arms of silver

I saw, that was the dream. Now

big metallic man with a shining

arms of silver shining in the

dream and now we'll interpret

He was a head of God in that

dazzling image, the head of
gold represented the king as

always represented his own
empire, the Babylonian Empire,

that ruled over God's people
from the year 605 BC. You're

the head of gold. Oh! He like
that interpretation. Oh, but

he didn't like what comes next
because he said next after you

another kingdom will rise,
inferior to yours. And then a

third kingdom, one of bronze
will rule over the whole earth

throws your Babylonian
kingdom and in the year 538 the

came roaring across Babylon

capturing the city and Babylon

Empire into the 10 toes of the

the 10 barbarian tribes were

established, the Vandals,
the Ostrogoths, the Heruli, the

Alemanni, the Anglo-Saxons,
the Suevi, the Visigoths, the

Franks they were all settled in
dividing the Roman empire into

three of those were uprooted
and destroyed. We'll look at

that one on another night,
but seven remained to become the

modern nations of Europe
today So you see we're flowing

through time in history.
The Bible is telling us 100s of

be Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece,

would divided by the massive

barbarian invasions by the year
476 AD it was done just the way

God said it would take place.
But he isn't finished yet, it

destroyed nor will it be left

part of this prophecy, the most

those 10 toes in the image of

Nebuchadnezzar's dream would
be a divided kingdom partly iron

and partly clay, and so the
people would be a mixture and

they will not remain united no
more than iron can mix with clay

You know, I do like the way
the old King James says it, they

will not cleave one onto another
Up until this time, the Bible

says that one nation would
rule practically the entire

civilized world especially
over God's people, but now the

prophecy is changing there
was Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece
