we've been during this session.

anger towards God's people.

as we look at it, and

Some very important things
in this 15th chapter. Says:

So here sees these seven
angels that have seven bowls

and in them is
contained the wrath of God.

And it says that with this
the wrath of God is complete.

Now, what you and
I need to understand

is the seven last plagues
are poured out on the wicked.

They are the ones that
receive the seven last plagues.

The righteous do
not receive this.

This is something that
is not poured out upon them.

It says this
about the righteous:

These are God's people that have
been redeemed from this earth

and they are there
having the harps of God and all.

So God promises to those
who walk with Him and follow Him

that no plague will
come near your dwelling.

Doesn't mean,
folks... does not mean

that you and I are
not going to see them.

But it does mean that
they're not going to fall on us.

These plagues do not
come upon the righteous.

They only fall on the wicked.

"Shall not come
nigh your dwelling. "

God's telling them here and
we just talked about this call

You see, makes it
clear that His people do not

receive the plagues. That those
are given to those who do not

follow God - that
are opposed to God -

that have gone contrary to God.

All right. Here in
Revelation 15 it shows something

that's very important because
the basis for God's wrath

is based upon this.

And you and I need to
understand it. It says:

When it says the
temple of the tabernacle

of the testimony was opened

what is involved in that?

Here the temple is opened

but also the tabernacle,
the testimony is open there.

We need to establish
what that's talking about

and what's it referring to.

So let's take a
look and establish that,

and then we can
go on from there.

Go back to the book of Exodus
and the experience with Moses.

And it says:

So Moses has the two
tables of the Testimony,

and on the two tables of
the Testimony is written what?

The law.

The Ten
Commandments are written there.

They were written
there by the finger of God.

This is referred
to as the Testimony.

So when it talks
about the temple being open

and the
tabernacle of the Testimony,

it's talking
about the law of God.

Open... and they
could see the law of God.

He said: "Take the
Testimony" - that's the law -

and put it in the ark.

So here you have the law.
It's placed inside the ark.

The ark is inside the
tabernacle or the temple.

And it says this was opened.

So the temple of God in heaven.

This is not talking
about the one on earth.

Talking the one
up in heaven is open.

So this is at the time that the
7 last plagues are poured out

that the temple is open
and the ark is seen there.

Because the ark and the law
are the basis of God's judgment.

See folks,
there is no such thing

as violating law

without there being punishment.

There is no such thing.

And these people have gone

absolutely
contrary to God's law.

They have refused to walk in
the light of what God's law is

and therefore they are receiving
the seven last plagues.

So the people that
keep God's commandments,

follow Him, are obedient to Him,

they do not receive
the seven last plagues.

This is what it tells us
very clearly in God's Word.

OK. Let's take a look at
these seven last plagues.

Seven angels pour
out the wrath of God
00:22:33.71\00:22:38.48
on the earth.
00:22:38.78\00:22:41.26
First one poured out his bowl
00:22:55.48\00:23:00.11
on the earth, and those that had
received the mark of the beast
00:23:00.31\00:23:04.13
and worshiped the beast
and the image and so forth
00:23:04.23\00:23:06.64
they receive a loathsome sore.
00:23:06.84\00:23:10.39
This sore, folks, is
not just like any sore.
00:23:10.59\00:23:13.78
It is extremely -
we'll see in a minute -

is extremely painful.
00:23:16.74\00:23:19.41
So painful the scripture
says that the gnaw their tongue

for the pain.

So it's not just a regular sore.

It has extreme
pain connected with it.

Now these seven last
plagues are poured out

after probation has closed.

temple was filled with smoke. "

was filled with smoke

able to enter the temple

till the seven plagues of
the seven angels were completed.

You see, that's
telling you that the service

in the temple
has come to an end.

Christ has left the sanctuary.

He is no longer
there interceding on behalf

of mankind. He
has left the temple.

And therefore this takes place

after probation has closed.

In other words as we
talked about in the last session

there's no repentance.
There's no change of heart.

The cup of iniquity is full.

Therefore because it's full

God pours out His wrath.

So the first one
was like a sore...

extremely painful.

Those that had
received the mark of the beast,

worshiped the
image of the beast,

these are the ones that
this was poured out upon.

Back to that same
thing. "God, You are righteous

in what You are doing
because You have judged this

because these people
have been in opposition

to the law of God.

Therefore You are
just in pouring out this. "

So He's giving
them blood to drink

because they slew
the prophets of God.

They slew God's people. They
made war upon the righteous.

Therefore God said:
"Because you have done this
00:26:44.60\00:26:47.29
you're going to
have blood to drink. "
00:26:47.49\00:26:49.00
Now folks, this is
really in answer...
00:26:57.83\00:27:01.03
it's an answer to the
prayer of the saints that
00:27:01.23\00:27:07.17
was under the altar
when we studied the seals.
00:27:07.27\00:27:11.06
And it talks
about them and it says:
00:27:11.46\00:27:14.81
You see, it's talking
about those who were martyred
00:27:24.95\00:27:28.00
for the cause of God.
00:27:28.20\00:27:30.36
And it says their blood like
the blood of Abel is crying out
00:27:30.56\00:27:34.28
saying "How long, Lord?
00:27:34.48\00:27:36.79
When are You going to judge? "
00:27:36.99\00:27:38.36
And this 2nd and 3rd
plague is an answer to that.
00:27:38.39\00:27:42.33
Saying: "You're just, oh Lord,
00:27:42.53\00:27:45.40
in pouring out
this plague upon them. "

You'll also find that this
is very much... runs a parallel
00:27:48.50\00:27:53.31
in a sense... to the
second and third trumpets.
00:27:53.51\00:27:58.88
We studied the
trumpets, you remember?

And the second and third
trumpets are blood trumpets.

But the trumpets are judgments.

That's what they
are: they're judgments.

They are warnings
to the people on earth

trying to call
them to repentance.

But there's a
blood plague there...

blood trumpet there

in the second and
third that is sounded.

And the difference
here is in those warnings

trumpets it says a third

of what was in the sea died.

But with the seven
last plagues - 2nd and 3rd -

it says they all die.

So there's a definite
difference here in those.

So this plague is a blood
plague that God will give them

blood to drink for
what they have done.

is poured out on the sun

Now the plagues,

the first four of the trumpets,

on mankind in general.

That's what happens: they're all
