come to write this song?

I lost my sister-in-law
this past summer to cancer

and she was 47 years old.

47 years, so it was a
hard time for our whole family.

And we were
praying for a miracle.
00:02:27.34\00:02:31.60
And I started reading.

Obviously, you know, when
something like that happens

in your family, you
really start studying scriptures
00:02:35.56\00:02:38.40
and reading a lot.
00:02:38.41\00:02:39.38
And I started reading about
a lot of different kinds of
00:02:39.39\00:02:43.33
miracles throughout the Bible.
00:02:43.36\00:02:44.82
And the first verse talks
the leper that comes to Jesus.
00:02:44.85\00:02:51.20
He says, "Lord, I
know that You are Lord.
00:02:51.23\00:02:54.16
And I know if You're
willing, You can heal me
00:02:54.19\00:02:56.69
from this pain and this hurt. "
00:02:56.72\00:02:59.00
And then the second verse talks
about the woman at the well.
00:02:59.03\00:03:02.91
You know, she was just
in so much pain emotionally.
00:03:02.94\00:03:07.04
And through Jesus' eyes,
Jesus just loved her anyway.

And as we were writing this
song, we started thinking about
00:03:11.85\00:03:15.05
different kinds of
miracles in our lives.

And of course, I think that
we all pray for miracles that we
00:03:16.64\00:03:19.76
so desperately want in our lives
if we're going through cancer.

You know and what we
came to realize is that
00:03:23.41\00:03:26.95
the miracle that we receive
might not necessarily be the
00:03:26.98\00:03:30.54
miracle that we've asked for.
00:03:30.57\00:03:31.72
But it doesn't mean that
God has not sent us a miracle.

And so we might not understand
what that miracle, you know,
00:03:36.21\00:03:39.18
why God chose to give
us that particular miracle

at that moment.

And it might even
be hard in our lives.

But I think that in the
end, one day; it could be a year

from now, it could be 20 years
from now, it could be heaven

before we really
understand about that miracle.

Well the greatest miracle
of all; see all of those people

How they all fit together
has been orchestrated by heaven,

just a little bit personal

And I'll tell you what really
made my heart leap was when

my brother Danny got
up here, and brother Jim.

And with the blessings
of the 3ABN board they said,

"We want to reaffirm
the pillars of our faith. "

They said, "We want to recommit
ourselves in giving the straight

testimony to prepare a
people to meet Jesus. "

That made my heart leap inside.

We need that kind of leadership.

The potential that
God has here is awesome.

And so I'm very, very
grateful and thankful that these

individuals in responsible
positions are saying,

"I'm not wanting to
please man, but I'm determined

by God's grace to please Him. "

This is what it's going
to take before Jesus comes,

before we get to that new
heaven and that new earth.

And as I observed and
listened to any of the messages

these things popped into my
mind and I thought, you know

before we begin to talk
about heaven and a new earth,

I know that the message
that we must give to the world

must be, as we see the
time approaching, very clear.

Very clear, the
message must be given.

In fact, it must be born
in such a way, listen to me,

that it startles the hearers.

The message should be
so plain, so clear, that it

startles the hearers.

There's too many
people just saying, "Uh-huh.

But you know, to be startled
sometimes makes you stop and

think the situation over.

And then I observed
and thought about this.

The failure of this
ministry or any other ministry

to proclaim the message
that God has given to us

will be our ruin.

Did you get that?

If we do not proclaim the
message the way that God has

given to us, it
will prove our ruin.

But if we give it the
way God says, it will prove

to be a blessing.

I'm also convinced of this.

That the message that God
has given this movement is

the most solemn message that
has ever been given to mortals.

That's how important that it is.

It's a life and death
situation. No more game playing.

It's time to get
serious with God.

And I know that you're
serious. That's why you're here.

this under consideration.

I'm saying, "God, help me. "

I want to be able, and I
know everyone here wants to...

You know, we declare faithfully
the whole counsel of God.

Not leaving something out
because some people may not

like it or
someone may be offended.

But when God gives a
message, He wants you to give it

exactly the way
that He gave it to you.

And if we do not
declare the whole message,

And I believe we're being
blessed here as we've heard

the counsel and we've heard the
messages that have been given.

That if we reject, if we reject
these truths that we have heard

I will call them the pillars,
as you've heard many times over.

If we reject those pillars
of truth, we have rejected God.

that we may finish this work
