We know that because
they are given to angels,

and they are flying
in the midst of heaven.

As we hear these
words, please understand

that because of our
limited time we have to be brief

in some areas, and some areas
we will not be able to cover.

But by God's grace we

As we hear the third
angel's message we have to

ask ourselves, what is
it that we are hearing?

We're talking about a
time when the end of things
00:08:41.92\00:08:47.16
is before us, the mark of
the beast is already proclaimed,
00:08:47.19\00:08:52.93
and people are
having to make a decision
00:08:52.96\00:08:57.87
whether or not to
take the mark of the beast.
00:08:57.90\00:09:00.24
And this is a
dangerous time to be living in.
00:09:00.27\00:09:03.37
We are very close to
seeing that take place.
00:09:03.41\00:09:05.87
So I want to encourage
you to listen carefully

and also to
continue studying this topic

as we study the
third angel's message.

The issue, of course,
in the end time is worship.

Worship the Lord or
worship the beast, his image,

and the dragon.

So in John 4:23, I would
like to bring to your attention

the words of Jesus Christ.

John 4:23-24,
notice the words of Jesus.

"But the hour cometh, and
now is, when the true worshipers
00:09:39.44\00:09:44.65
shall worship the
Father in spirit and in truth.
00:09:44.68\00:09:49.18
For the Father
seeketh such to worship him.
00:09:49.22\00:09:52.45
God is a Spirit: and they that
worship him must worship him
00:09:52.49\00:09:56.73
in spirit and in truth."

And so I say to you that in
churches all around the world

there are people that worship
the Lord in spirit and in truth.
00:10:04.40\00:10:09.20
However, there are people
that do not worship the Lord

in spirit and in truth.
00:10:12.61\00:10:15.01
There are people in
churches that do not.
00:10:15.04\00:10:18.85
They honor the Lord with
their lips, but their heart
00:10:18.88\00:10:21.82
is far from the Lord.

How do I know this?
00:10:24.55\00:10:25.89
Because the Bible says
that there are wheat and tares
00:10:25.95\00:10:29.42
in the church, even
unto the end of time.

And so I know that in
every church there are wheat
00:10:32.96\00:10:36.20
and there are tares.
00:10:36.23\00:10:37.57
And I say to you, it is
not my job, it is not your job,
00:10:37.60\00:10:41.40
to say, "Well
which ones are the wheat?
00:10:41.50\00:10:43.17
Let's see, I think
that guy over there,
00:10:43.20\00:10:45.14
he must be one of the tares.
00:10:45.17\00:10:46.61
And that person over
there, surely that's a tare."
00:10:46.64\00:10:48.84
And so, we do not have
the job to decide who is wheat
00:10:48.94\00:10:53.21
and who is tares.
00:10:53.25\00:10:54.58
That is a job for the Lord.
00:10:54.62\00:10:55.95
However, be aware that
we need to keep our eyes
00:10:56.15\00:10:59.65
on Jesus Christ
instead of people.

Those that you see and
you say, "Oh, that is a person
00:11:02.06\00:11:05.19
that is an example for me."

Be careful.

The example that we
should have is Jesus Christ.

And I say to you, put your
eyes on the Lord Jesus Christ

and not on people
because people can fail.

And many will fail,
as a matter of fact.

Now I invite you to
join me in Mark 7:5-6.

Notice the words of Jesus.

"Then the Pharisees
and scribes asked him,

'Why walk not thy disciples
according to the tradition of

the elders, but eat
bread with unwashen hands?'
00:11:39.86\00:11:43.93
He answered and said unto them,
'Well hath Esaias prophesied of
00:11:44.13\00:11:48.27
you hypocrites,
as it is written,
00:11:48.30\00:11:51.21
"This people
honoureth me with their lips,
00:11:51.24\00:11:54.61
but their heart
is far from me."'"

And so it is that in Jesus' time
there were people honoring Him
00:11:58.61\00:12:02.08
with their lips, but
their heart was far from Him.

In the same today, we
have people that honor Him with

the lips and that
is as far as they go.
00:12:08.92\00:12:12.46
They do not allow
the Lord to take full
00:12:12.49\00:12:15.70
possession of their hearts.

And today the Lord
is looking for people

that will worship Him
in spirit and in truth.

And you will
have to make a choice:

worship the Lord
in spirit and in truth

or worship the beast.

And I encourage
you to worship the Lord

in spirit and in truth.

Surely He has
done much to save you.

Surely He is worthy
of all your worship.

So we must worship
with all of our heart

because we love the Lord and
are grateful for His blessings.

Consider the great
sacrifice that heaven has made

for your salvation.

Jesus Christ gave up His
life for you, shed His blood

on the cross so
that you could be saved,

so come to the Lord and
follow Him with all your heart.

Now let's take a
look, since we are talking

about the antichrist
power that calls upon people

to take on the
mark of the beast.

Paul warns us, let's
see how this developed,

Paul warns us or
warns God's children
00:13:15.52\00:13:18.13
of the danger that
was ahead during his time.

Let's go to the book of
Acts 20 and we are going to

read verses 29-30 again.

We have read this in the past,
but we need to read it once more

because there may be
many joining us that were not

with us last time.

Let us begin. Acts 20:29-30.

"For I know this, that after my
departing shall grievous wolves

enter in among you,
not sparing the flock.

Also of your own
selves shall men arise,

spreading perverse
things, to draw away
00:13:54.43\00:13:57.57
disciples after themselves."

Question, do we have
such a thing happening today?

I would say to you that
there are grievous wolves.

I say to you that
there are people trying to

draw disciples after them.
00:14:09.51\00:14:11.18
And some are doing it just
for the gain of popularity.
00:14:11.21\00:14:15.95
Some are doing it
for the gain of money.

And they are deceiving
people with fanciful words.
00:14:18.79\00:14:22.46
And I will say to you that
instead of feeding the flock
00:14:22.49\00:14:25.49
with the meat of the
Word, they are feeding the flock
00:14:25.53\00:14:28.73
with whipped cream.
00:14:28.83\00:14:30.40
I listened to some sermon, I was
in a particular city recently.
00:14:30.67\00:14:35.20
And I heard there was a
famous evangelist that has
00:14:35.57\00:14:41.44
radio and TV programs.
00:14:42.08\00:14:43.55
Even has a large church.
00:14:43.58\00:14:45.38
And I said, I've heard
much about this individual.
00:14:45.41\00:14:47.52
Let's see what he has to say.
00:14:47.55\00:14:49.15
Never heard this individual.
00:14:49.18\00:14:50.55
So I prayed and I asked the
Lord to bless me with wisdom
00:14:50.59\00:14:54.92
so that I am not deceived.
00:14:54.96\00:14:56.29
And I listened
for a few minutes.
00:14:56.32\00:14:57.86
And I do not know what the
rest of his messages were like,
00:14:57.89\00:15:01.90
but on that particular day,
after listening a few minutes
00:15:01.93\00:15:05.10
I said, "Well there seems to
be a lot of whipped cream here,
00:15:05.13\00:15:07.97
and not what you would
call something to feed your mind
00:15:08.00\00:15:12.81
and something that will
be of my spiritual help."
00:15:12.84\00:15:15.84
So I had to turn it off.
00:15:15.88\00:15:17.21
So I ask you to
do the same thing.
00:15:17.28\00:15:19.85
The Bible says that the Bereans,
they heard the Word gladly.
00:15:19.88\00:15:25.12
But then they went home
and searched the Scriptures
00:15:25.15\00:15:28.59
to see if those
things were true.
00:15:28.62\00:15:31.63
And every message,
including this one,
00:15:31.66\00:15:33.66
search the Scriptures to
see if these things are true.

Notice now in 2
Thessalonians 2:3-4.

Continuing looking at the
development of the antichrist,

the man of sin, let's
begin reading in verse 3.

"Let no man
deceive you by any means:
00:15:54.22\00:15:56.82
for that day shall not
come, except there come
00:15:56.85\00:16:00.62
a falling away first, and
that man of sin be revealed,
00:16:00.66\00:16:04.59
the son of perdition, who
opposeth and exalteth himself
00:16:04.63\00:16:08.83
above all that is called
God, or that is worshiped:
00:16:08.93\00:16:13.60
so that he as God
sitteth in the temple of God,

shewing himself that he is God."

So we see here that
Paul warned the people

that the time would
come when a man of sin

would come upon the scene.

And this man of sin
would deceive people,

and would sit
apparently in the temple of God

and deceive
people, showing himself
00:16:37.53\00:16:40.53
that he is God.

And there is a power that has
done this and has even claimed

to be God upon the earth.

And we want to ask you
to take heed and be warned

because we are living
in the time of the end.

2 Thessalonians 2, now
we move on to verses 5-7.

Paul continues by
saying, "Remember ye not

that when I was yet with
you I told you these things?

And now ye know what
withholdeth that he might

be revealed in his time.

For the mystery of
iniquity doth already work.

Only he who now
letteth will let, until he

be taken out of the way."

So we see that the mystery
of iniquity was already working.

Paul was beginning
to hear and see signs

of iniquity
coming into the church.

The church was pure as
the disciples went forth

to preach the gospel
among the Jews first,

and then eventually
all around the world.

The church doctrines were
pure, the people were honestly

seeking the Lord,
but eventually, Paul says

that wolves would come
in seeking to draw away

disciples after them.
