that the message begins with,
"And the third angel followed."

You will notice this because
when we started our study,

it says, "another angel,"
starting with Revelation 14:6.

But these three angels have
a message of vital importance
00:04:13.21\00:04:17.19
for those that are living
in the last days of this earth.

The time factor
involved is the last days,
00:04:21.62\00:04:24.73
because it is only at the
end time that you can say,
00:04:24.76\00:04:29.80
as it is stated by the
first angel, that the hour of
00:04:29.83\00:04:33.20
God's judgment is come, the
hour of God's judgment is come.

And Satan, of course, is
working behind the scenes

through powers and people to
try to accomplish his purposes

and to lead people
astray and to be lost,

while God is working to
save as many as possible.

And the Bible says that we
are suppose to preach the gospel

unto every nation,
kindred, and tongue, and people.

prayed, however, I'd like to go

Well, we begin our study
in Revelation 14, once again.

During the last time we
were together we studied
00:06:25.45\00:06:27.42
Revelation 14:8, the
second angel's message, which
00:06:27.45\00:06:32.25
I will read at this moment.
00:06:32.29\00:06:33.89
"And there followed
another angel, saying,
00:06:33.92\00:06:37.36
'Babylon is fallen, is
fallen, that great city,
00:06:37.39\00:06:42.73
because she made all
nations drink of the wine
00:06:42.93\00:06:46.74
of the wrath of
her fornication.'"
00:06:46.77\00:06:49.74
This angel follows the first.
00:06:50.31\00:06:52.31
And the third angel
followed this angel.
00:06:52.74\00:06:54.98
And it is a
continuing message that we have
00:06:55.01\00:06:58.25
here outlined in
Revelation 14:6-12.
00:06:58.61\00:07:03.59
And this message is a warning.
00:07:03.99\00:07:08.56
Notice that she made all
nations drink of the wine
00:07:08.59\00:07:12.96
of the wrath of her fornication.
00:07:12.99\00:07:14.83
Wine is a symbol of doctrines.
00:07:15.13\00:07:18.33
And so we are talking
about that she made all nations
00:07:18.53\00:07:21.34
drunk with the wine of
the wrath of her fornication.
00:07:21.37\00:07:24.44
In other words, the
nations of the world,
00:07:24.47\00:07:27.98
the people of the world,
have been fed these doctrines
00:07:28.18\00:07:31.71
that you become intoxicated
with to the sense that
00:07:31.75\00:07:36.22
you are believing these
things that are not true.
00:07:36.55\00:07:41.59
And the Lord has a
message for His children.
00:07:41.76\00:07:46.56
He says they are
fallen because they believe
00:07:46.59\00:07:49.36
these false doctrines, and
because she made all nations
00:07:49.40\00:07:53.54
drink of the wine of the
wrath of her fornication.
00:07:53.57\00:07:55.74
That is the reason
for the fall of Babylon.
00:07:55.77\00:07:58.74
And we remember that, as
we stated in the last message,

that Babylon here represents
the different denominations
00:08:04.81\00:08:09.02
that have departed from
the true biblical doctrines.
00:08:09.05\00:08:13.79
They have departed from
the true biblical doctrines,

therefore they
are said to be fallen.

Now we also stated that
this is something yet future.

How is it that we know?

Because at this time that we
are living in at this moment,

not all nations are drunk
with the wine of the wrath

of her fornication.

We know that in these last
days we have different means

by which
messages could be carried.

Electronically, physically with
paper, whether it be letter,

or whatever the
system may be, or in person.
00:08:44.02\00:08:46.76
And so whatever
means can be used to bring
00:08:46.79\00:08:51.33
a message to someone else.

As we continue our study, we go
right into Revelation 14:9-12.

And I will read all
these verses at this time,

and then we'll go back and talk
about each verse separately.

Let us begin Revelation 14:9-12,
the third angel's message.
00:09:05.61\00:09:10.78
"And the third angel followed
them, saying with a loud voice,
00:09:10.81\00:09:15.72
'If any man worship
the beast and his image,
00:09:15.75\00:09:20.06
and receive his mark in
his forehead, or in his hand,
00:09:20.09\00:09:25.03
the same shall drink of
the wine of the wrath of God,
00:09:25.06\00:09:29.50
which is poured out
without mixture into the cup of
00:09:29.53\00:09:33.10
his indignation; and he
shall be tormented with fire
00:09:33.13\00:09:37.11
and brimstone in the
presence of the holy angels,
00:09:37.14\00:09:40.91
and in the presence of the Lamb.
00:09:40.94\00:09:43.58
And the smoke of their torment
ascendeth up for ever and ever:

and they have no rest day
nor night, who worship the beast

and his image, and whosoever
receiveth the mark of his name.

Here is the
patience of the saints:

here are they that keep
the commandments of God,

and the faith of Jesus.'"

So here we have a message
for the people of the world.
00:10:06.57\00:10:10.34
And this message
is of such importance
00:10:10.44\00:10:13.14
that everyone needs to
look at it, consider it,
00:10:13.17\00:10:16.18
and understand it.
00:10:16.21\00:10:18.01
This message tells us
that God is going to pour out
00:10:18.11\00:10:23.25
His wrath without mixture.
00:10:23.62\00:10:26.32
And I say to you that throughout
history God has visited
00:10:26.35\00:10:31.59
people or nations
with punishment based on
00:10:31.86\00:10:35.06
the wicked deeds.
00:10:35.16\00:10:36.50
You may remember the flood.
00:10:36.53\00:10:37.87
You remember Sodom and Gomorrah.
00:10:37.90\00:10:39.40
And other nations as well.
00:10:39.70\00:10:41.94
However, all of God's judgments
can be said to have come
00:10:42.14\00:10:47.38
mingled with mercy.
00:10:47.48\00:10:50.01
However, in this particular
context, the Bible says
00:10:50.11\00:10:54.98
that the wrath of God is
poured out without mixture.
00:10:55.02\00:10:59.32
In other words, it is
pure and without mercy.
00:10:59.35\00:11:03.09
Why?
00:11:03.12\00:11:04.46
Because God has done all
that could possibly be done.
00:11:04.49\00:11:08.46
All that could possibly
be done to lead the people
00:11:08.90\00:11:13.07
of this world
down the right path.
00:11:13.10\00:11:15.47
The message is
presented all around the world.
00:11:15.50\00:11:18.07
Remember that as the
devil is trying to lead people
00:11:18.11\00:11:22.41
to destruction, God is trying
to lead people to salvation.
00:11:22.44\00:11:25.55
And there's a great controversy
between good and evil.
00:11:25.75\00:11:28.88
Here in these
verses that we are reading,
00:11:28.92\00:11:31.45
we see some of the things that
take place as Satan tries to
00:11:31.49\00:11:35.49
take control of
the minds of people.
00:11:35.52\00:11:37.93
As a matter of fact, it goes to
the point of mandating worship.
00:11:37.96\00:11:43.06
And this is outlined
in Revelation chapter 13.
00:11:43.33\00:11:47.37
Mandating worship, and this
is mandated in Revelation 13.
00:11:47.40\00:11:51.71
And we're going to look at this.
00:11:51.74\00:11:53.34
Notice here in Revelation 13:4.
00:11:53.84\00:11:58.95
This message in Revelation
14 is linked to Revelation 13
00:11:59.38\00:12:05.05
because it is talking
about the mark of the beast
00:12:05.15\00:12:08.46
and the mark of his name.
00:12:08.56\00:12:10.39
Notice Revelation 13:4.
00:12:10.43\00:12:12.33
"And they worshiped the dragon
which gave power unto the beast:
00:12:12.36\00:12:18.43
and they
worshiped the beast, saying,
00:12:18.47\00:12:20.97
'Who is like unto the beast?
00:12:21.00\00:12:24.14
Who is able to
make war with him?'"
00:12:24.17\00:12:27.91
In other words, this
power is said to be of such
00:12:28.11\00:12:32.15
high authority that
the question is asked,
00:12:32.18\00:12:34.82
"Who can possibly
make war with this beast?
00:12:34.85\00:12:38.69
Who can possibly
make war with this beast?
00:12:38.72\00:12:42.82
And who is able to stand?"
00:12:42.86\00:12:47.60
So at this point we now ask
you to go to Revelation 13:8.

Notice again that
it's talking about worship.

Worship.
00:12:57.67\00:12:59.01
In this particular verse
4, we read that they worshiped

the dragon.
00:13:02.58\00:13:03.91
I ask you, do you know who
the dragon is in this scripture?

Revelation chapter 12
reveals that the dragon
00:13:07.48\00:13:11.49
is that old
serpent called the devil.
00:13:11.59\00:13:14.66
The dragon is the old
serpent called the devil.
00:13:14.69\00:13:17.56
So people in this context
are worshiping the dragon,
00:13:17.59\00:13:23.77
which is a symbol
of the devil himself.
00:13:24.03\00:13:26.97
"And they worshiped the dragon
which gave power unto the beast:
00:13:27.47\00:13:30.34
and they
worshiped the beast, saying,
00:13:30.37\00:13:33.11
'Who is like unto the beast?
00:13:33.14\00:13:34.98
Who is able to
make war with him?'"
00:13:35.01\00:13:36.88
Revelation 13:8.

"And all that dwell upon
the earth shall worship him,
00:13:39.75\00:13:45.05
whose names are not written
in the book of life of the Lamb

slain from the
foundation of the world."

Now this is a very
interesting scripture.
00:13:55.13\00:13:57.77
It says, all that dwell on
the earth worship this beast
00:13:57.97\00:14:03.91
whose names are not
written in the book of life.

So, it is of great importance
for you to have your name
00:14:08.01\00:14:12.08
written in the book of life.
00:14:12.38\00:14:14.75
How is it that you get your name
written in the book of life?
00:14:14.78\00:14:18.59
It is very simple.
00:14:19.09\00:14:21.29
Jesus said, "Come unto
Me all ye that are weary
00:14:21.66\00:14:26.66
and heavy laden, and
I will give you rest."
00:14:26.70\00:14:31.13
Jesus is the way,
the truth and the life.
00:14:31.37\00:14:35.50
No man can come to
the Father but by Him.
00:14:35.54\00:14:38.37
There's no other
name under heaven
00:14:38.41\00:14:41.11
whereby man should be saved.
00:14:41.14\00:14:43.24
By grace are we
saved through faith.

It is a gift of God.

Not of works, lest
any man should boast.

And therefore, how do
you get your name written

in the book of life?

You give your heart
completely to the Lord.

You surrender your life to Him.

You come before Him and repent,
confess your sins before Him,

and say, "I accept Jesus
Christ as my personal Savior."

And remember, in
John chapter 3 Jesus said,

"Except a man be born
of water and the spirit,

he cannot see
the kingdom of God."

Therefore, we are
called upon to be baptized
00:15:20.05\00:15:23.32
and to come into God's fold,
00:15:23.59\00:15:25.82
and to become a
follower of Jesus Christ.

And as you do this,
your name will be written

in the book of life.

If you do not do this, you're
going to fall in the category

of those that worship the
dragon and worship the beast,

and will have to
experience the wrath of God

which is poured
out without mixture.

And so it is a choice
that every individual will have

in the last days.

Worship God or worship
the dragon, worship the beast,

worship the devil.

So notice now Revelation 13:11.

"And I beheld another beast
coming up out of the earth;

and he had two
horns like a lamb,

and he spake as a dragon."

In other words, identified
himself, this nation identifies
00:16:10.90\00:16:15.90
itself with the devil,
because it speaks as a dragon.
00:16:15.94\00:16:20.98
Revelation 13:12, "And he
exercises all the power of the
00:16:21.51\00:16:26.28
first beast before
him, and causes the earth
00:16:26.31\00:16:30.45
and them which dwell therein
to worship the first beast,
00:16:30.49\00:16:34.59
whose deadly wound was healed."
00:16:34.62\00:16:37.06
So we have here several
occasions in these verses
00:16:37.09\00:16:41.46
that we have
mentioned where worship of the
00:16:41.50\00:16:43.97
dragon is mentioned, worship
of the beast is mentioned.
00:16:44.00\00:16:47.34
But are they worthy of worship?
00:16:48.07\00:16:49.94
There is, according
to verse 11, it says that
00:16:50.31\00:16:55.84
you're going to be called upon,
it's going to cause all that
00:16:56.61\00:16:59.48
dwell upon the earth.
00:16:59.51\00:17:00.85
In other words, this
power that is like a lamb
00:17:00.88\00:17:03.45
has power over those
other nations to the point
00:17:03.55\00:17:07.76
that it causes all
that dwell on the earth
00:17:07.86\00:17:10.29
to worship the first beast.
00:17:10.33\00:17:11.79
Notice Revelation 13:15.

Revelation 13:15.
00:17:14.06\00:17:15.96
"And he had power to give life
unto the image of the beast,
00:17:16.43\00:17:21.54
that the image of the
beast should both speak
00:17:21.57\00:17:24.51
and cause that as many as
would not worship the image of

the beast should be killed."

In other words, the time
will come, the time will come

upon this nation and
eventually every other nation

that if you do not
worship this beast,

first it will be civil penalties
with some fines, jail time.
00:17:44.09\00:17:50.03
However, these will
eventually escalate to death.
00:17:50.13\00:17:54.97
If you don't worship the
beast, you will be killed.
00:17:55.00\00:17:57.87
And if you don't take a mark in
your hand or in your forehead,
00:17:58.04\00:18:02.11
then you will be killed.
00:18:02.41\00:18:04.11
Everyone will have
to make a decision.
00:18:04.15\00:18:06.05
Everyone will have to
decide: worship the beast,
00:18:06.08\00:18:09.48
worship the
dragon, or worship God.

So just as Joshua
called the people of Israel,

"Choose you this day
whom you will serve,"
00:18:16.99\00:18:19.76
you will be called upon to
choose whom you will serve,

where you will
place your allegiance.
00:18:23.53\00:18:25.83
And I urge you to place your
allegiance, to place your faith,
00:18:25.87\00:18:30.81
to place your trust,
in God who cares for you.
00:18:30.84\00:18:34.81
The Bible says that,
"God so loved the world
00:18:34.84\00:18:38.25
that He gave His
only begotten Son,
00:18:38.28\00:18:40.82
that whosoever
believes in Him will not perish,
00:18:40.85\00:18:44.55
but have everlasting life."
00:18:44.59\00:18:46.49
God has made
provision for you to be saved.
00:18:46.52\00:18:49.86
You do not need to be lost,
except if you decide to be lost.
00:18:49.89\00:18:55.06
And I encourage you
to decide to be saved

by the Lord Jesus Christ.

I would like to
invite you to Luke 4:6.

In Luke 4:6 we have a
scripture that identifies with
00:19:05.87\00:19:11.88
these scriptures,
because the dragon, the devil is
00:19:11.91\00:19:14.78
behind all these things.
00:19:14.82\00:19:16.55
He wants to be worshiped.
00:19:16.58\00:19:17.99
He sought this in heaven,
and he's seeking this on earth.
00:19:18.19\00:19:21.46
In Luke 4:6, Jesus
Christ goes to the wilderness
00:19:21.49\00:19:25.99
and the devil goes to tempt Him.
00:19:26.03\00:19:27.50
And notice what verse 6 says.
00:19:27.53\00:19:29.46
"And the devil said unto him,

that are part of the kingdom.

If the people that are part
of that power or that system

identify with the power,
then it can be said about them

said about the power.

But God says there are people,

And that after he thought
he had conquered everyone

he was depressed because there
were no more nations to conquer.

And he died very
young in drunken debauchery.

So we have talked
about the three world powers.
