but the First Angel's Message
is composed of verse 6 and 7

During the last
time we were together,

we spoke that this angel
has the everlasting gospel

to preach to them
that dwell up on the earth,

to every nation,
kindred, and tongue and people.

We also showed that
this angel represents
00:06:11.47\00:06:15.54
is a symbol of the
people, of human beings
00:06:15.57\00:06:18.87
that God has given
the privilege to share it

with their
fellow man, the gospel.

Angels have not
been given the task
00:06:26.55\00:06:29.22
to preach the
gospel, we have that task.

We pointed out that Jesus said,

"Go ye into all the
world and preach the gospel."

And this message is
supposed to go to all the world.

We spoke of the importance
that it is for the whole world

and that it's a message

that has to go to
every single country,

none is to be left out, no
language is to be left out,

it is to go to all the world,
then we have tools nowadays.

We have the printed page,

they're for many,

We have a radio,
we have television,

we now have internet
to preach the gospel with,

most powerful method

of preaching the gospel
is your personal testimony

you as an individual
can preach the gospel,

and we encourage
you to place yourself

in the hands of the Lord

asking for the
Holy Spirit to use you

so that others can know

marvelous plan of salvation,

the everlasting
gospel that God has been

through his infinite

hope in Jesus Christ.

And we also mentioned
that we are to fear God

and give glory to him.

We're not gonna go

to every aspect
of what we discussed,

for we are to give God...

fear God and give glory to him

and we spoke about
what that meant for us.

So this time we are
going to go further in verse 7.

During the last time we said

that the angel is
speaking with the loud voice.

And what he has to say

is part of the
everlasting gospel.

Therefore we should take
a close look at the words.

And again he's
speaking in a loud voice

that means he wants to be heard

and when you
speak in a loud voice,

you're not whispering,
when you're whispering

you're talking to
one or a few people,

but when you're talking loud,

you want to be heard
by all that are around.

And this angel is
speaking with a loud voice

because the message has
to go to the whole world.

The messengers are you and
me and God is calling upon us

to bring this
task to completion.

As a matter fact we will
quote once again Matthew 24:14.

Jesus said, "And
this gospel of the kingdom

should be
preached in all the world

for a witness unto all nations,
and then the end shall come."

We mentioned that
this first angel's message
00:08:56.16\00:08:58.67
is linked to the
second coming of Jesus Christ.

And therefore we should
pay close attention to it

as we are studying this message.

Notice once again verse 7.

"Saying with a loud voice,

"Fear God and give glory to Him,

and now the reason is given,

for the hour of
His judgment is come,

and worship Him that
made heaven and earth,

and the sea and the
fountains of waters."

We are going to look at
these words as we continue,

and the first part of this
is that we are going to look at

worship him that made
heaven and earth and the sea

and the fountains of water.

And so this first part
of verse 7 speaks to us

that we should
worship the creator,

we should worship the
creator, him that had made us.

As you look at Revelation 14,

you have to keep
in mind Revelation 13.

In Revelation 13

an interesting thing takes place

in which a power commands
00:10:11.51\00:10:16.11
that people worship a beast,
00:10:16.14\00:10:19.35
that receive the
wound by a sword.
00:10:19.38\00:10:22.38
Revelation 13,
let's look at verse 15
00:10:22.42\00:10:26.19
and he says, "And he
had power to give life
00:10:26.22\00:10:28.92
unto the image of the beast,
00:10:28.96\00:10:30.83
that the image of the beast
should both speak, and cause
00:10:30.86\00:10:34.20
that as many as would not
worship the image of the beast
00:10:34.23\00:10:38.20
should be killed."
00:10:38.23\00:10:40.67
And so therefore as we
look also into verse 16,
00:10:40.70\00:10:44.81
"And he causeth all,
both small and great,
00:10:44.84\00:10:46.74
rich and poor, free and bond,
00:10:46.78\00:10:48.84
to receive a mark
in their right hand,
00:10:48.88\00:10:53.25
or on their forehead."

And so we see
here in Revelation 13

that there is mandated worship
00:10:58.62\00:11:01.36
that takes
place in Revelation 13
00:11:01.39\00:11:03.49
and if you don't
worship you will be killed.
00:11:03.53\00:11:06.29
This of course is yet
future as we speak right now,
00:11:06.33\00:11:09.73
and we see the difference
between Revelation 13 and 14,
00:11:09.76\00:11:13.64
God is answering this
what we see in Revelation 13,
00:11:13.67\00:11:19.81
that this beast
power is commanding worship
00:11:19.84\00:11:22.81
or you'll be killed.
00:11:22.84\00:11:24.25
In other words they are calling,
00:11:24.28\00:11:26.61
you're gonna be called up
to worship an image made to
00:11:26.65\00:11:29.42
and made of the beast.
00:11:29.45\00:11:30.79
We'll talk about
that as we carry on

during this series.

But we're gonna be
commanded to worship a beast

and if you don't
you will be killed.

God is the only one
worthy of worshiping.

And this beast power
is commanding worship

that alone belongs to God.

Therefore, when you
look at Revelation 14:7,

and it says to worship Him

and the sea, and
the fountains of waters.

It is identifying
God as our creator.

Revelation 4:11
let's take a look at that.

Revelation 4:11

and the Bible
tells us the following.

"Thou art worthy, O Lord,
to receive glory and honor
00:12:09.92\00:12:15.30
and power for thou
hast created all things,
00:12:15.33\00:12:19.10
and for thy pleasure
they are and were created."
00:12:19.13\00:12:24.11
Therefore the
Bible gives us the reason
00:12:24.14\00:12:26.57
why we should worship God,
00:12:26.61\00:12:27.94
it is because he is our creator,
00:12:27.98\00:12:30.35
and of course God has been good
to each and every one of us.

I like to invite you
now to go to Revelation 5.

We see that it says
to worship the Lord,

we are to
worship God, the Creator,
00:12:42.09\00:12:44.73
God the Father, the creator.
00:12:44.76\00:12:46.56
But now in
Revelation 5:11 and 12
00:12:46.59\00:12:50.23
notice that another
person is identified
00:12:50.27\00:12:54.34
as worthy of worship.
00:12:54.37\00:12:56.91
Revelation 5:11 and
12, notice, "And I beheld,
00:12:56.94\00:13:01.34
and I heard the
voice of many angels
00:13:01.38\00:13:05.11
round about the throne
00:13:05.15\00:13:06.51
and the beasts or
the living creatures
00:13:06.55\00:13:08.95
and the elders:
and the number of them
00:13:08.98\00:13:10.89
was ten thousand
times ten thousand..."

And how much is ten
thousand times ten thousand?
00:13:14.52\00:13:18.79
Well, you very well know
that's a hundred million.

A hundred million
angels and then it says

thousands of thousands,

an unnumbered amount of
angels are there present

and they...

Notice the words of verse
12, saying with a loud voice,

"Worthy is the Lamb that
was slain to receive power,

and riches, and wisdom,
and strength, and honor,
00:13:39.55\00:13:42.48
and glory, and blessing."

So, brothers and
sisters, dear friends,

we have here in this
scripture another message

that we are to worship the Lamb.
00:13:52.86\00:13:55.56
Now who is this Lamb?
00:13:55.60\00:13:56.93
Of course, you remember
the words of John the Baptist,

he said, "Behold the Lamb of God
00:13:59.20\00:14:03.10
that taketh away
the sin of the world,"
00:14:03.14\00:14:05.21
pointing to
Jesus Christ, the Lamb,
00:14:05.24\00:14:07.48
he is worthy to be worshiped.
00:14:07.51\00:14:10.15
Worthy to be worshiped
is Jesus Christ, the Son.
00:14:10.18\00:14:14.35
So the Father is
to be worshipped,
00:14:14.38\00:14:15.75
the Son is to be worshipped.
00:14:15.78\00:14:17.22
And now I would like
to point you to a text,

some people have
issues with this,

but Bible clearly identifies
the Holy Spirit as God also

because that is the
Godhead composed of Father,

Son and Holy Spirit.
00:14:30.67\00:14:33.10
In Job 33:4,
00:14:33.13\00:14:36.24
Job 33:4 we have
an interesting text

that talks to us
about the Spirit of God,

the Holy Spirit.
00:14:44.21\00:14:45.55
we have the following words.

"The Spirit of God hath made me,
00:14:48.32\00:14:53.56
and the breath of the
Almighty hath given me life."
00:14:53.59\00:14:58.83
And so we have here a scripture
that very clearly tells us

that the Spirit
of God hath made me.

And when you consider this text,

you will
remember that in Genesis 1
00:15:10.24\00:15:14.68
it says that the
Holy Spirit was there,

it says the Spirit of God moved
upon the face of the waters.

So the Father, the
Son and the Holy Spirit

were involved in
the creation process.

And here in Job
33:4 we see that it says

that the Holy Spirit

participated in creating us.

Therefore we would say to you,

the Bible makes it a point

that we should
worship also the Holy Spirit,

because he also was involved
in the creation process.

So let's go back
to Revelation 14:7.

We remember the words
that we've already read.

"Fear God, and give glory to him

for the hour of
his judgment is come

and earth, and the sea,

This of course
points us to our creator

as we have stated.

Now if you look at the words
worship him that made heaven,

and earth, and the sea,
and the fountains of waters.

These words are
very closely related

to one of the Ten Commandments.

Sometimes the
innocent are condemned,

and say they are guilty,

because attorneys
present either false evidence.

Attorneys present evidence

that seems to convince the judge

or the jury that the person
they have brought to the court

and is identified
as the guilty person

is the one that
deserves the punishment.

many cases of people

innocent have been revealed.

documentary on a plane

at one time and it
is talking about a man,

that was accused or by
murder of the son of some,

somebody in government office

and the person that
actually did the killing

was a criminal
and when the criminal,

because it was a
high profile case

because it was the son of
a some government official.

There was a lot of
media attention involved.

And because they needed
to find somebody to blame,

they caught the person
that actually did the crime

but this person according
to the documentary said,

I have information
for you, I want amnesty,

I want to be protected

and if I share
information with you

about other criminals,

be kept out of jail.

I don't want to
suffer for this crime.

And based on his proposed

found the evidence

happen to be in the area

and he was blamed for the
crime that he did not commit.

such thing take place.

guilty will be guilty,
