Yesterday, I made
reference to spiritual

and carnal Christians.

And you may be
wondering what's up with that?

What's the difference?

Well, I would say
spiritual Christian

is one who is sold
out, led by the Holy Spirit,

walking daily by
the spirit's guidance.

And the carnal
Christian, well, is not.

He's kind of two-timing Jesus.

And we don't want to
be carnal Christians,

we don't want to be
living a divided life in Christ.

If you know, the Apostle Paul
said in 1 Corinthians 3:1-3,

"And I, brethren,
could not speak to you

as to spiritual
people, but as to carnal,

as to babes in Christ.

So the defining factor
must be our relationship

Carnal describes a person

who lives by
normal human strength,

not by the Holy Spirit.

Paul addressed the
carnal people as brethren,

listen, which shows

they were likely church members,

but he couldn't
call them spiritual

because they didn't show proof

with the Holy Spirit.

It's frightening to think
that one can be a church member

for many years and
still be a carnal Christian.

To have biblical knowledge

they're just worn out.

But, Father, they know
that You are their savior.

found himself shaking.

been here for many years,

given his heart to You.

know the big things in life,
