African-American men

that we saw were very feminine.

being kind of curious

to my mind like where were they,

where was that populist

and it wasn't until actually

after I come out
of the gay lifestyle

recognize that there's this,

this movement
or whatever called,

the down low culture.

definition of down low culture

Well, the term down low

basically is
what we identify men

who tend to be heterosexual
but really are homosexual.

They're individuals that
in the sense are married,

they have families,
they have the facade

of being again macho,
he-man type of individuals,

but in reality they sneak around

and they are involved
in homosexual activity.

So, we called the down
low because it is secretive.

It is so secretive
that in many instances,

the wife or the
girlfriend of these individuals

connected with a religious sect

the vast majority of
people who are sexually active,

promiscuous stems from
childhood sexual molestation.

affects the family unit?

dating men on the down low.

the homosexual community,

especially the male segment

of homosexual
community has the highest rate

of HIV infection of
any segment in our culture,

when individuals
are exposing themselves

to that culture

bring it to their wife,

for prayer about his illness.

He said he was sick,

his wife was sick
and his family was sick.

denied prayer at that time

back in the morning

and will pray for you, right.

this person was in prayer

situation with this man,

the Lord revealed to her

morning when a man showed up,
