05:15 It means to show them respect, 05:17 to treat them kindly. 05:19 You can honor your friends by playing 05:21 what they want to play sometimes 05:22 and not always insist on your own way. 05:25 You honor others by listening 05:27 when they have something to say. 05:29 It's also important to honor our own families. 05:32 Have you ever messed with something 05:34 that belongs to your brother or sister 05:36 without their permission? 07:29 They are your mother and your father. 07:32 Sometimes it's hard to honor them, isn't it? 07:35 Because of sin, 07:36 we're very selfish and like to have our own way, 07:39 but God knows that we would be happier 07:41 if we listen to what our parents tell us 07:43 and obey them. 07:45 We honor our parents by obeying them 07:47 and speaking respectfully to them. 07:51 Why don't you ask Jesus right now 07:53 to help you to honor your father and mother? 09:31 That happened to Solomon when he became king. 09:33 You know what Solomon asked God for? 09:36 Solomon asked God to give him wisdom 09:38 so that he could be a good king and rule his people, 09:41 like God wanted him to. 09:43 Do you think God gave him wisdom? 17:33 This verse talks about the time 17:34 when Jesus comes to take us to heaven. 17:37 The verse just before this one says 17:39 that those who love Jesus and had died 17:41 would be resurrected first, then it would be our turn. 17:44 If we're still alive and love Jesus, 17:47 I don't know if we'll suddenly have wings 17:49 or how we would get there, 17:50 but the Bible promises that we would be caught up 17:53 in the clouds. 17:55 I don't want to miss that, do you? 21:28 Well, I've got great news for you. 21:31 You have been chosen by the God of the universe. 21:35 He needs you to be a witness for Him, 21:37 to tell others what He has done for you. 21:40 It's an important job and He's chosen you to do it. 21:44 I guess that makes you pretty important, doesn't it? 21:47 "You are my witnesses,' declares the Lord, 21:50 'and my servant whom I have chosen.'
