03:56 You bet they would. 03:58 That's kind of what this next verse is about, 04:00 not piano lessons, 04:02 but asking God for things He wants us to have. 04:07 "If we ask anything according to His will, 04:10 He hears us." 04:11 1 John 5:14. 04:13 If we ask anything according to His will 04:17 He hears us, He hears us 04:22 If we ask anything according to His will 04:26 He hears us, He hears us 04:31 If we ask anything according to His will 04:35 He hears us, He hears us 04:40 If we ask anything according to His will 04:44 He hears us, He hears us 04:48 If we ask anything according to His will 04:53 He hears us, He hears us 04:57 If we ask anything according to His will 05:01 He hears us, He hears us 05:06 If we ask anything according to His will 05:10 He hears us, He hears us 05:15 If we ask anything according to His will 05:19 He hears us, He hears us 05:24 If we ask anything according to His will 05:28 He hears us, He hears us 05:33 If we ask anything according to His will 05:37 He hears us, He hears us 05:49 In the Bible there are many stories 05:51 where God asked people to do things 05:53 that didn't seem to make any sense. 05:55 Like, fighting an army of thousands with only 300 men, 05:58 or feeding 5000 people with a boy's small lunch, 06:02 or going to the sea to get tax money 06:04 from a fish's mouth. 06:06 But in the each of these stories, 06:07 people succeeded when they obeyed God. 06:10 I guess that's why the Bible says, 06:12 "Fear not and do not be afraid, 06:15 with God on our side we have nothing to fear." 06:20 "Do not be afraid for the Lord your God goes with you, 06:24 He will never leave you nor forsake you." 06:26 Deuteronomy 31:6. 06:28 Do not be afraid For the Lord your God goes with you 06:33 He will never leave you nor forsake you 06:38 Do not be afraid For the Lord your God goes with you 06:43 He will never leave you nor forsake you 06:48 Do not be afraid For the Lord your God goes with you 06:52 He will never leave you nor forsake you 06:57 Do not be afraid For the Lord your God goes with you 07:02 He will never leave you nor forsake you 07:07 Do not be afraid For the Lord your God goes with you 07:12 He will never leave you nor forsake you 07:16 Do not be afraid For the Lord your God goes with you 07:21 He will never leave you nor forsake you 07:26 Do not be afraid For the Lord your God goes with you 07:31 He will never leave you nor forsake you 07:36 Do not be afraid For the Lord your God goes with you 07:40 He will never leave you nor forsake you 07:45 He will never leave you nor forsake you 07:58 I want to tell you the best way to quit any bad habits 08:02 you may have. 08:03 Maybe you have a habit of lying, 08:05 or complaining, or cheating, 08:07 or saying bad things about other people. 08:10 Wouldn't you like to quit doing those things 08:13 and be honest, cheerful, trustworthy and kind? 08:18 You don't quit by just making up your mind 08:21 that you won't do it anymore. 08:22 Bad habits are hard to break, but there is a way to do it. 08:26 Ask Jesus everyday to forgive your sins 08:29 and fill you with the Holy Spirit. 08:31 He will answer your prayer and help you to obey Him. 08:35 "'Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit,' 08:38 says the Lord Almighty." 08:40 Zechariah 4:6. 08:42 Not by might nor by power 08:46 But by My Spirit Says the Lord Almighty 08:50 Not by might nor by power 08:53 But by My Spirit, says the Lord 08:57 Not by might nor by power 09:01 But by My Spirit Says the Lord Almighty 09:05 Not by might nor by power 09:08 But by My Spirit, says the Lord 09:12 Not by might nor by power 09:16 But by My Spirit Says the Lord Almighty 09:20 Not by might nor by power 09:24 But by My Spirit, says the Lord 09:27 Not by might nor by power 09:31 But by My Spirit Says the Lord Almighty 09:35 Not by might nor by power 09:39 But by My Spirit, says the Lord 09:42 Not by might nor by power 09:46 But by My Spirit Says the Lord Almighty 09:50 Not by might nor by power 09:54 But by My Spirit, says the Lord 10:07 Our next verse talks about choices. 10:09 You make choices every day. 10:11 You choose whether to get up the first time 10:14 your mother calls you in the morning. 10:15 You choose what to wear, what to eat, 10:18 whether you're going to obey your parents cheerfully, 10:21 who you will be friends with and many other things. 10:24 Some of these choices are more important than others. 10:26 But the most important choice you'll ever make 10:29 has to be made over and over again. 10:32 I hope you will choose like Joshua did 10:35 that no matter what anyone else does, 10:37 you will serve the Lord. 10:40 "Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. 10:44 But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." 10:47 Joshua 24:15. 10:50 Choose for yourselves 10:52 This day whom you will serve 10:56 Whom you will serve Whom you will serve 11:03 But as for me and my household 11:09 We will serve the Lord 11:16 Choose for yourselves 11:19 This day whom you will serve 11:23 Whom you will serve Whom you will serve 11:30 But as for me and my household 11:35 We will serve the Lord 11:43 Choose for yourselves 11:46 This day whom you will serve 11:50 Whom you will serve Whom you will serve 11:57 But as for me and my household 12:02 We will serve the Lord 12:19 The Bible is filled with love stories. 12:21 And the story of Ruth is one of my favorites. 12:24 Ruth grew up among the group of people 12:26 who didn't worship the true God. 12:28 But she married a man who did 12:30 and she accepted his God as her own. 12:33 When her husband died, 12:35 Ruth didn't return to her family 12:37 but stayed with his mother Naomi 12:39 and was loyal to her and her God. 12:42 We need to love our families. 12:44 But we always need to remember 12:46 that loving God is more important 12:48 than anything else. 12:51 "Your people will be my people and your God my God." 12:54 Ruth 1:16. 12:56 Your people will be 13:00 My people 13:05 And your God 13:09 My God 13:13 Your people will be 13:18 My people 13:22 And your God 13:26 My God 13:31 Your people will be 13:35 My people 13:39 And your God 13:44 My God 13:48 Your people will be 13:52 My people 13:56 And your God 14:01 My God 14:05 Your people will be 14:09 My people 14:14 And your God 14:18 My God 14:22 Your people will be 14:27 My people 14:31 And your God 14:35 My God 14:49 Our next verse talks about conduct. 14:52 Do you know what that word means? 14:54 It means the same thing as another word used 14:56 in the verse, actions. 14:58 Your actions or conduct tell people a lot about you. 15:02 If your actions are pure and right, 15:04 people will know you love Jesus. 15:06 You can be a worker for God just by spending time 15:09 with Jesus in prayer and Bible study, 15:11 and cheerfully doing what He wants you to do. 15:15 "Even a child is known by his actions, 15:18 by whether his conduct is pure and right." 15:22 Proverbs 20:11. 15:24 Even a child is known by his actions 15:28 By whether his conduct is pure and right 15:32 Even a child is known by his actions 15:36 By whether his conduct is pure and right 15:41 Even a child is known by his actions 15:44 By whether his conduct is pure and right 15:49 Even a child is known by his actions 15:53 By whether his conduct is pure and right 15:57 Even a child is known by his actions 16:01 By whether his conduct is pure and right 16:05 Even a child is known by his actions 16:09 By whether his conduct is pure and right 16:23 Do you ever make excuses 16:25 to try to get out of doing something 16:27 your parents asked you to do? 16:29 There is a verse in the Bible that says, 16:31 "Stop making excuses." 16:33 Well, it doesn't use those words 16:36 but that's what it means. 16:38 Jeremiah told God that he couldn't speak well 16:41 because he was just a child. 16:44 But God told him to stop making excuses 16:47 and obey. 16:48 You're never too young to serve Jesus. 16:51 Tell Him that you want to work for Him 16:54 and He'll show you how you can. 16:56 He may even tell you what you should say. 17:00 "The Lord said to me, 'Do not say I am only a child. 17:04 You must go to everyone I send you to 17:07 and say whatever I command you.'" 17:10 Jeremiah 1:7. 17:13 The Lord said to me 17:15 Do not say I am only a child 17:21 You must go to everyone I send you to 17:24 And say whatever I command you 17:28 The Lord said to me 17:30 Do not say I am only a child 17:36 You must go to everyone I send you to 17:39 And say whatever I command you 17:43 The Lord said to me 17:45 Do not say I am only a child 17:51 You must go to everyone I send you to 17:54 And say whatever I command you 17:58 The Lord said to me 18:00 Do not say I am only a child 18:05 You must go to everyone I send you to 18:09 And say whatever I command you 18:13 The Lord said to me 18:15 Do not say I am only a child 18:21 You must go to everyone I send you to 18:24 And say whatever I command you 18:28 And say whatever I command you 18:41 Has anyone ever taken credit for something that you did? 18:44 May be you colored a pretty picture, 18:46 and someone else said that they had done it 18:49 or maybe you surprised your mother 18:50 by sweeping the floor without being asked, 18:53 and your brother or sister said, they did it. 18:55 It doesn't make you feel very good, does it? 18:58 There are many people who take credit for the things 19:01 that God has done for them. 19:02 And there are some who give credit to the idols 19:04 they worship. 19:06 That must not make God feel very good. 19:08 Listen to what He said about that in Isaiah 42:8. 19:12 "I am the Lord, that is my name! 19:14 I will not give my glory to another 19:17 or my praise to idols." 19:19 Isaiah 42:8. 19:22 I am the Lord that is my name 19:27 I will not give my glory 19:29 To another or my praise 19:33 My praise to idols 19:38 I am the Lord 19:41 I am the Lord that is my name 19:46 I will not give my glory 19:48 To another or my praise 19:52 My praise to idols 19:57 I am the Lord 20:00 I am the Lord that is my name 20:05 I will not give my glory 20:07 To another or my praise 20:11 My praise to idols 20:16 I am the Lord 20:20 I am the Lord that is my name 20:24 I will not give my glory 20:26 To another or my praise 20:30 My praise to idols 20:36 I am the Lord 20:45 If you're going on a trip in a car, 20:46 would you rather ride on straight roads 20:48 or curvy roads? 20:50 Probably straight, right? 20:52 Many of us get sick if we have to go around 20:55 a lot of corners in a car. 20:57 There is a verse in the Bible that tells us 20:59 that God will make our path straight 21:01 if we pay attention to His instructions. 21:04 That means that we will be happier 21:07 and stay out of a lot of trouble 21:09 if we give our hearts to Jesus and live like He wants us to. 21:14 "In all your ways acknowledge Him, 21:16 and He will make your paths straight." 21:19 Proverbs 3:6. 21:21 In all your ways acknowledge Him 21:27 And He will make your paths straight 21:34 In all your ways acknowledge Him 21:39 And He will make your paths straight 21:46 In all your ways acknowledge Him 21:51 And He will make your paths straight 21:58 In all your ways acknowledge Him 22:04 And He will make your paths straight 22:10 In all your ways acknowledge Him 22:16 And He will make your paths straight 22:23 In all your ways acknowledge Him 22:28 And He will make your paths straight 22:35 In all your ways acknowledge Him 22:41 And He will make your paths straight 22:47 In all your ways acknowledge Him 22:53 And He will make your paths straight 23:05 If someone said they'd give $10 today 23:07 or $30 a month from now, 23:09 what would you do? 23:11 A wise person would know that, 23:12 while they really like to have $10 right away, 23:15 it would be better to be patient for few weeks 23:18 and have $30 instead. 23:20 Some times in life we think that something God says 23:23 that we shouldn't do would be so much fun. 23:26 But God knows that sin might be fun 23:27 for a short time. 23:29 By following His way 23:30 will bring us happiness forever. 23:32 A wise person will follow God's way. 23:35 "Listen to my instruction and be wise, 23:38 do not ignore it." 23:39 Proverbs 8:33. 23:41 Listen to my instruction and be wise 23:46 Do not ignore it 23:49 Listen to my instruction and be wise 23:53 Do not ignore it 23:57 Listen to my instruction and be wise 24:01 Do not ignore it 24:05 Listen to my instruction and be wise 24:09 Do not ignore it 24:13 Listen to my instruction and be wise 24:17 Do not ignore it 24:20 Listen to my instruction and be wise 24:25 Do not ignore it 24:28 Listen to my instruction and be wise 24:32 Do not ignore it 24:36 Listen to my instruction and be wise 24:40 Do not ignore it 24:44 Do not ignore it Do not ignore it 24:58 If you had to fight a giant, would you rather have sword, 25:01 a spear and a javelin or just a sling shot? 25:06 Goliath thought David was crazy to fight him 25:08 with only a little sling shot. 25:11 But Goliath was wrong. 25:12 David had more than a sling shot. 25:14 He had a hidden weapon that Goliath couldn't see. 25:17 David had God on his side. 25:20 With God on your side, you'll always be a winner. 25:24 "You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, 25:27 but I come against you 25:29 in the name of the Lord Almighty." 25:30 1 Samuel 17:45. 25:33 You come against me with sword and spear and javelin 25:38 But I come against you 25:40 In the name of the Lord Almighty 25:43 You come against me with sword and spear and javelin 25:47 But I come against you In the name of the Lord 25:52 You come against me with sword and spear and javelin 25:57 But I come against you 25:59 In the name of the Lord Almighty 26:01 You come against me with sword and spear and javelin 26:06 But I come against you In the name of the Lord 26:13 Am I a dog 26:15 that you come out here with sticks? 26:19 You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, 26:22 but I come against you, 26:24 in the name of the Lord Almighty, 26:26 the God of armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 26:30 You come against me with sword and spear and javelin 26:34 But I come against you 26:36 In the name of the Lord Almighty 26:40 You come against me with sword and spear and javelin 26:44 But I come against you In the name of the Lord 26:48 In the name of the Lord 27:01 Brothers and sisters, 27:02 you may have arguments and tease each other a lot. 27:05 But usually, 27:07 if someone starts picking on someone 27:09 in your family, 27:10 you stick up for them. 27:12 No matter how much you love your family, 27:15 there are times when you fail them. 27:17 But there's a friend who never fails. 27:20 He always loves us. 27:22 He always keeps His promises. 27:24 And He's always ready to forgive. 27:27 His name is Jesus. 27:29 Is He your friend? 27:31 "There is a friend 27:32 who sticks closer than a brother." 27:34 Proverbs 18:24. 27:37 There is a friend who sticks closer 27:40 Closer than a brother 27:44 There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother 27:52 There is a friend who sticks closer 27:56 Closer than a brother 27:59 There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother 28:07 There is a friend who sticks closer 28:11 Closer than a brother 28:14 There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother 28:22 There is a friend who sticks closer 28:26 Closer than a brother 28:30 There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother 28:37 There is a friend who sticks closer 28:41 Closer than a brother 28:45 There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother |
