01:05 Do you have a good imagination?
01:07 Let's see.
01:09 I want you to imagine that you were traveling
01:11 through the wilderness with the children of Israel.
01:13 Can you feel the sand in your shoes?
01:16 Pretend that you've been walking
01:18 all day,
01:20 I bet you're thirsty, aren't you?
01:22 But guess what?
01:23 There is no water to drink.
01:26 That really happened to the children of Israel,
01:29 but God was with them.
01:30 He told Moses to strike a certain rock
01:32 with his rod.
01:34 Moses obeyed God and water came out
01:35 of the rock for them to drink.
01:37 That story reminds me of the promise
01:39 from Book of Isaiah, listen.
01:42 "His bread will be supplied, and water will not fail him."
01:46 Isaiah 33:16.
01:49 His bread
01:51 His bread will be supplied
01:53 And water will not fail him
01:58 His bread
02:00 His bread will be supplied
02:02 And water will not fail him
02:07 His bread
02:09 His bread will be supplied
02:11 And water will not fail him
02:16 His bread
02:18 His bread will be supplied
02:21 And water will not fail him
02:25 His bread
02:27 His bread will be supplied
02:30 And water will not fail him
02:34 His bread
02:36 His bread will be supplied
02:39 And water will not fail him
02:43 His bread
02:45 His bread will be supplied
02:48 And water will not fail him
02:52 His bread
02:55 His bread will be supplied
02:57 And water will not fail him
03:16 Did you know that love is the same thing
03:18 as obeying God?
03:20 That's what the Bible says in 2 John 6,
03:23 it says,
03:24 "This is love that we walk in obedience
03:26 to His commands."
03:27 Think about it for a minute.
03:29 If someone says they love you,
03:31 but they make fun of you in front of your friends,
03:33 they aren't showing that they love you,
03:35 are they?
03:37 The last six of the Ten Commandments
03:39 all talk about showing love to the people around us.
03:42 Let's show our love by obeying God.
03:45 "This is love that we walk in obedience
03:48 to His commands."
03:49 2 John 6.
03:51 This is love that we walk
03:55 In obedience to His commands
04:01 This is love that we walk
04:05 In obedience to His commands
04:11 This is love that we walk
04:15 In obedience to His commands
04:20 This is love that we walk
04:25 In obedience to His commands
04:30 This is love that we walk
04:34 In obedience to His commands
04:40 This is love that we walk
04:44 In obedience to His commands
04:50 This is love that we walk
04:54 In obedience to His commands
05:00 This is love that we walk
05:04 In obedience to His commands
05:22 The first commandment that was given to Moses
05:24 on Mount Sinai was,
05:26 "You shall have no other gods before me."
05:29 The children of Israel has just been set free
05:31 from slavery in a heathen land
05:34 where people worship gods or idols
05:36 made of silver and gold.
05:38 You've probably never worshipped
05:40 idols made of silver and gold,
05:42 so what does this verse mean to you?
05:45 Anything that becomes more important to us
05:47 than obeying or loving God can be an idol to us.
05:52 I want to show my love to God by always putting Him first,
05:56 how about you?
05:58 "You shall have no other gods before me."
06:02 Exodus 20:3.
06:05 You shall have no other gods before me
06:10 You shall have no other gods before me
06:14 You shall have no other gods You shall have no other gods
06:19 You shall have no other gods before me
06:23 You shall have no other gods before me
06:28 You shall have no other gods before me
06:32 You shall have no other gods You shall have no other gods
06:37 You shall have no other gods before me
06:41 You shall have no other gods before me
06:46 You shall have no other gods before me
06:50 You shall have no other gods You shall have no other gods
06:55 You shall have no other gods before me
06:59 You shall have no other gods before me
07:04 You shall have no other gods before me
07:08 You shall have no other gods You shall have no other gods
07:13 You shall have no other gods before me
07:29 Do you know who built the very first church?
07:32 The children of Israel did.
07:34 It was a portable church
07:35 much different from the church you go to.
07:38 Because they moved often,
07:40 God designed a church that they could take apart
07:42 and move with them.
07:44 When God told Moses
07:46 to build this church or sanctuary,
07:48 He promised that He would dwell or live with them.
07:53 When we go to church,
07:54 we can be sure that God is there with us too.
07:58 "Have them make a sanctuary for me,
08:00 and I will dwell among them."
08:01 Exodus 25:8.
08:03 Have them make a sanctuary for me
08:08 And I will dwell among them
08:11 Have them make a sanctuary for me
08:16 And I will dwell among them
08:19 Have them make a sanctuary for me
08:24 And I will dwell among them
08:27 Have them make a sanctuary for me
08:32 And I will dwell among them
08:35 Have them make a sanctuary for me
08:40 And I will dwell among them
08:44 Have them make a sanctuary for me
08:48 And I will dwell among them
08:58 Our next verse is from the beginning
08:59 of the song that King David wrote.
09:02 David loved God and in this song,
09:03 he tells how happy he was
09:05 when someone invited him to go to the house of the Lord.
09:09 Why do you think David was so happy?
09:11 I think he was happy
09:13 because he was going to his best friend's house.
09:15 Is Jesus your best friend?
09:17 Do you enjoy going to His house?
09:21 "I rejoiced with those who said to me,
09:24 'Let us go to the house of the Lord.'"
09:26 Psalm 122:1.
09:29 I rejoiced with those who said to me
09:32 Let us go to the house of the Lord
09:37 I rejoiced with those who said to me
09:40 Let us go to the house of the Lord
09:45 I rejoiced with those who said to me
09:49 Let us go to the house of the Lord
09:53 I rejoiced with those who said to me
09:57 Let us go to the house of the Lord
10:01 I rejoiced with those who said to me
10:03 Let us go to the house of the Lord
10:09 I rejoiced with those who said to me
10:11 Let us go to the house of the Lord
10:17 I rejoiced with those who said to me
10:19 Let us go to the house of the Lord
10:25 I rejoiced with those who said to me
10:27 Let us go to the house of the Lord
10:33 I rejoiced with those who said to me
10:35 Let us go to the house of the Lord
10:41 I rejoiced with those who said to me
10:43 Let us go to the house of the Lord
10:57 Have you ever taken a shortcut and ended up getting lost?
11:02 Sometimes we think we know a better way
11:03 to get somewhere or a better way to do something
11:06 and sometimes,
11:08 it's okay to try a different way.
11:10 But when God tells us how to be happy
11:12 or how to get to heaven,
11:14 we can be sure He knows best.
11:16 Trying to find a better way than God's way
11:19 will only lead us into trouble, and disappointment,
11:23 and finally death.
11:25 "There is a way that seems right to a man,
11:29 but in the end it leads to death."
11:31 Proverbs 14:12.
11:34 There is a way that seems right to a man
11:37 But in the end it leads to death
11:42 There is a way that seems right to a man
11:45 But in the end it leads to death
11:50 There is a way that seems right to a man
11:53 But in the end it leads to death
11:57 There is a way that seems right to a man
12:01 But in the end it leads to death
12:05 There is a way that seems right to a man
12:09 But in the end it leads to death
12:13 There is a way that seems right to a man
12:17 But in the end it leads to death
12:21 There is a way that seems right to a man
12:25 But in the end it leads to death
12:29 There is a way that seems right to a man
12:33 But in the end it leads to death
12:37 There is a way that seems right to a man
12:40 But in the end it leads to death
12:45 There is a way that seems right to a man
12:48 But in the end it leads to death
13:01 Have you ever seen a mother bird
13:03 protecting her babies?
13:04 I watched a boy climb a ladder once
13:06 so that he could see some baby blue jays
13:08 in a nest near his house.
13:11 He got to the top of the ladder
13:13 and looked in,
13:14 and all of a sudden he yelled and hurried down the ladder
13:17 as fast as he could.
13:19 Can you guess why?
13:21 The mother blue jay had been watching her babies
13:23 and was afraid the boy would hurt them,
13:25 so she flew down and gave him a serious peck
13:28 on the head.
13:29 The Bible says that God watches the birds too,
13:33 and He sees if one falls from the nest.
13:35 It also says that you are worth more
13:37 than many birds
13:39 and that God cares for you and watches over you too.
13:42 "The Lord watches over all who love Him."
13:46 Psalm 145:20.
13:50 The Lord watches over all who love Him
13:54 Who love Him Who love Him
13:59 The Lord watches over all who love Him
14:03 Who love Him
14:08 The Lord watches over all who love Him Who love Him
14:14 The Lord watches over all who love Him
14:17 The Lord watches over all who love Him
14:22 Who love Him Who love Him
14:26 The Lord watches over all who love Him
14:31 Who love Him
14:35 The Lord watches over all who love Him
14:40 Who love Him Who love Him
14:44 The Lord watches over all who love Him
14:49 Who love Him
15:04 Jesus called Himself the good shepherd,
15:07 do you know why?
15:08 The people He was talking to knew all about shepherds.
15:12 They knew that a good shepherd cared for his sheep
15:15 and would do anything to protect them.
15:18 Jesus wanted the people to know that He cared for them so much
15:22 that He would do anything,
15:24 even give His life to save them.
15:27 Jesus has also called other people to be shepherds,
15:31 to lead us and to care for us.
15:34 Parents, teachers and pastors are all shepherds
15:37 and we are the sheep.
15:39 As long as these shepherds are following Jesus,
15:42 the good Shepherd, we can feel safe in their care.
15:46 "I will place shepherds over them who will tend them,
15:50 and they will no longer be afraid or terrified,
15:53 nor will any be missing, declares the Lord."
15:56 Jeremiah 23:4.
15:58 I will place shepherds over them
16:02 Who will tend them Who will tend them
16:06 And they will no longer be afraid
16:10 Or terrified
16:15 Nor will any be missing
16:19 Nor will any be missing
16:23 Nor will any be missing
16:26 Declares the Lord
16:31 I will place shepherds over them
16:34 Who will tend them Who will tend them
16:39 And they will no longer be afraid
16:43 Or terrified
16:47 Nor will any be missing
16:51 Nor will any be missing
16:55 Nor will any be missing
16:59 Declares the Lord
17:03 I will place shepherds over them
17:07 Who will tend them Who will tend them
17:11 And they will no longer be afraid
17:15 Or terrified
17:20 Nor will any be missing
17:24 Nor will any be missing
17:28 Nor will any be missing
17:32 Declares the Lord
17:48 During their wandering in the wilderness,
17:50 the children of Israel did a lot of complaining.
17:53 One time when they were complaining,
17:54 God sent snakes into the camp,
17:57 and many of the people were bitten and died.
18:00 The Israelites realized
18:01 that they had sinned by complaining,
18:03 and Moses prayed for them.
18:05 God told Moses to make a brass snake
18:08 and put it on the pole,
18:09 and He promised Moses
18:11 that anyone who had a snake bite
18:13 could look at the snake on the pole
18:14 and they would be healed.
18:16 We are all sinners,
18:18 but if we look to Jesus and His death on the cross,
18:21 we can be saved from sin,
18:23 just like the Israelites were saved from death.
18:26 "I, when I am lifted up from the earth,
18:30 will draw all men to myself."
18:32 John 12:32.
18:34 I, when I am lifted up from the earth
18:39 Will draw all men to myself
18:44 I, when I am lifted up from the earth
18:48 Will draw all men to myself
18:54 I, when I am lifted up from the earth
18:58 Will draw all men to myself
19:04 I, when I am lifted up from the earth
19:08 Will draw all men to myself
19:14 I, when I am lifted up from the earth
19:18 Will draw all men to myself
19:23 I, when I am lifted up from the earth
19:28 Will draw all men to myself
19:48 Our next verse says
19:49 that a good name is more desirable
19:51 than great riches.
19:53 Do you have a good name?
19:55 I don't mean the name your parents gave you
19:56 when you were born,
19:58 I mean your reputation.
20:00 When someone hears your name,
20:02 do they think of a kind, helpful, respectful person
20:06 or do they think of a troublemaker
20:07 or dishonest person?
20:09 No matter what you grow up to be, remember,
20:12 it's more important to have a good name,
20:15 to be thought of as a real Christian
20:17 than to make lots of money.
20:20 "A good name is more desirable than great riches."
20:23 Proverbs 22:1.
20:25 A good name is more desirable
20:28 More desirable Than great riches
20:31 A good name is more desirable
20:34 Than great riches
20:38 A good name is more desirable
20:41 More desirable Than great riches
20:44 A good name is more desirable
20:47 Than great riches
20:50 A good name is more desirable
20:53 More desirable Than great riches
20:56 A good name is more desirable
20:59 Than great riches
21:03 A good name is more desirable
21:06 More desirable Than great riches
21:09 A good name is more desirable
21:12 Than great riches
21:15 A good name is more desirable
21:18 More desirable Than great riches
21:21 A good name is more desirable
21:25 Than great riches
21:28 A good name is more desirable
21:31 More desirable Than great riches
21:34 A good name is more desirable
21:37 Than great riches
21:49 Are there any bullies in your schools
21:51 or neighborhood?
21:52 Sometimes kids try to make us think
21:54 they're important by acting tough
21:56 and bossing other kids around.
21:58 If your father were with you
22:00 when you met those boys in the street,
22:02 you wouldn't be afraid, would you?
22:04 Well, your father can't always be with you but God can.
22:08 And the Bible promises us that He will be.
22:11 Listen to this.
22:13 "Be strong and courageous,
22:15 for the Lord your God will be with you
22:16 wherever you go."
22:18 Joshua 1:9.
22:19 Be strong and courageous Be strong and courageous
22:23 For the Lord your God
22:25 Will be with you wherever you go
22:29 Be strong and courageous Be strong and courageous
22:33 For the Lord your God Will be with you wherever you go
22:38 Be strong and courageous Be strong and courageous
22:42 For the Lord your God Will be with you wherever you go
22:48 Be strong and courageous Be strong and courageous
22:52 For the Lord your God Will be with you wherever you go
22:57 Be strong and courageous Be strong and courageous
23:01 For the Lord your God Will be with you wherever you go
23:07 Wherever you go
23:18 Do your parents ever do anything special for you
23:21 that makes you really happy?
23:23 Maybe your mother fixes your favorite food for super
23:26 or your father spends the day with you,
23:28 doing whatever you want to do.
23:30 Have you ever thought about the great things
23:32 God has done for you?
23:34 Has He answered your prayers,
23:36 sent your guardian angel to protect you?
23:38 Given you loving parents and good health,
23:41 then be glad and thank Him for what He's done.
23:45 "The Lord has done great things for us,
23:48 and we are filled with joy," Psalm 126:3.
23:52 The Lord has done great things for us
23:55 The Lord has done great things for us
23:59 The Lord has done great things for us
24:02 And we are filled with joy
24:06 We are filled with joy We are filled with joy
24:12 The Lord has done great things for us
24:15 And we are filled with joy
24:19 The Lord has done great things for us
24:22 The Lord has done great things for us
24:25 The Lord has done great things for us
24:29 And we are filled with joy
24:33 We are filled with joy We are filled with joy
24:39 The Lord has done great things for us
24:42 And we are filled with joy
24:45 The Lord has done great things for us
24:49 The Lord has done great things for us
24:52 The Lord has done great things for us
24:55 And we are filled with joy
24:59 We are filled with joy We are filled with joy
25:05 The Lord has done great things for us
25:09 And we are filled with joy
25:19 Have you ever done something that you knew you shouldn't do,
25:22 but no one was around
25:24 and you thought no one would ever know?
25:26 The Bible warns us that our sin will find us out.
25:30 Sometimes our parents are smarter than we think
25:33 and they find us out.
25:35 Other times we suffer the consequences of our actions
25:38 by getting hurt or getting sick.
25:42 Other times,
25:43 we think we've gotten away with our disobedience
25:46 but God sees everything we do
25:49 and He wants us to confess our sins
25:51 and He will forgive us.
25:54 "Be sure that your sin will find you out."
25:59 Numbers 32:23.
26:02 Be sure that your sin will find you out
26:06 Your sin will find you out
26:10 Be sure that your sin will find you out
26:14 Your sin will find you out
26:25 Be sure that your sin will find you out
26:29 Your sin will find you out
26:33 Be sure that your sin will find you out
26:37 Your sin will find you out
26:44 Be sure that your sin will find you out
26:48 Your sin will find you out
26:52 Be sure that your sin will find you out
26:56 Your sin will find you out
27:05 Be sure that your sin will find you out
27:09 Your sin will find you out
27:13 Be sure that your sin will find you out
27:18 Your sin will find you out
27:22 Your sin will find you out
