01:24 What about God? 01:26 Have you thanked Him today for being your friend, 01:29 for giving you food to eat, for giving you life? 01:32 It's important to remember to say thank you 01:34 to friends and family, 01:36 and it's important to say thank you to God too. 01:39 Listen to what David says about giving thanks. 01:44 "Enter His gates with thanksgiving 01:46 and His courts with praise. 01:48 Give thanks to Him and bless His name." 01:51 Psalm 100:4. 01:55 Enter His gates with thanksgiving 01:59 And His courts with praise 02:03 Give thanks to Him Give thanks to Him 02:07 And bless His name 02:12 Enter His gates with thanksgiving 02:16 And His courts with praise 02:20 Give thanks to Him Give thanks to Him 02:24 And bless His name 02:30 Dear heavenly Father, 02:32 thank You that we can come to worship You 02:34 in this beautiful place. 02:37 Thank you for Your love to us 02:39 and for the beautiful birds and flowers 02:41 You've made for us to enjoy. 02:44 In Jesus' name, amen. 02:47 Enter His gates with thanksgiving 02:51 And His courts with praise 02:54 Give thanks to Him 02:57 Give thanks to Him 02:59 And bless His name 03:08 Do you have any neighbors that live close to you? 03:11 Do you have any neighbors that live far away? 03:14 That sounds kind of funny, doesn't it? 03:16 We usually think of neighbors 03:17 as those who live right next door to us, 03:19 don't we? 03:21 But that's not what Jesus was teaching 03:22 when He was talking about the Good Samaritan, 03:24 was He? 03:26 He taught that our neighbor is anyone who needs our help. 03:31 And He said that we should love our neighbor as ourselves. 03:38 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart 03:41 and love your neighbor as yourself." 03:43 Luke 10:27. 03:46 Love the Lord your God with all your heart 03:51 Love the Lord your God with all your heart 03:57 Love the Lord your God with all your heart 04:02 And love your neighbor as yourself 04:08 Love the Lord your God with all your heart 04:13 Love the Lord your God with all your heart 04:19 Love the Lord your God with all your heart 04:24 And love your neighbor as yourself 04:30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart 04:35 Love the Lord your God with all your heart 04:41 Love the Lord your God with all your heart 04:46 And love your neighbor as yourself 04:58 One day, when Jesus was visiting 04:59 in the home of Martha, and Mary, and Lazarus, 05:03 Martha was busy 05:04 with all the necessary preparations 05:06 while Mary sat and listened to Jesus talk. 05:10 When Martha complained to Jesus 05:12 because Mary wasn't helping her, 05:14 Jesus told her that 05:16 Mary had chosen what was most important. 05:19 It's easy for us to get so busy with other things 05:22 that we don't spend time with Jesus. 05:25 We need to remember 05:27 that the time we spend with Jesus is very important 05:30 because the things we learn about Him 05:32 and our friendship with Him 05:35 can never be taken away from us. 05:39 "Only one thing is needed. 05:41 Mary has chosen what is better, 05:43 and it will not be taken away from her." 05:45 Luke 10:42. 05:49 Only one thing is needed 05:54 Mary has chosen what is better 05:58 And it will not 06:00 It will not be taken away from her 06:07 Only one thing is needed 06:11 Mary has chosen what is better 06:15 And it will not 06:17 It will not be taken away from her 06:24 Only one thing is needed 06:28 Mary has chosen what is better 06:32 And it will not 06:34 It will not be taken away from her 06:47 Have you ever had a birthday party 06:49 and no one came? 06:51 Jesus told a story about a man who was having a party. 06:55 When he sent his servants out to get those who he'd invited, 06:58 they all had excuses why they couldn't come. 07:02 The man then sent his servants out into the streets 07:06 to invite whoever would come to the party. 07:09 Jesus has invited us to live with Him in heaven, 07:13 but He won't force us to. 07:16 Jesus wants us to go out into the streets where we live 07:19 and tell others about Him 07:22 so that we all may live with Him forever. 07:26 "Go out to the roads and country lanes 07:29 and make them come in so that My house will be full." 07:32 Luke 14:23. 07:37 Go out to the roads and country lanes 07:40 Go out to the roads and country lanes 07:44 And make them come in, 07:46 make them come in So that My house will be full 07:51 Go out to the roads and country lanes 07:55 Go out to the roads and country lanes 07:58 And make them come in, 08:00 make them come in So that My house will be full 08:06 Go out to the roads and country lanes 08:09 Go out to the roads and country lanes 08:13 And make them come in, 08:15 make them come in So that My house will be full 08:20 Go out to the roads and country lanes 08:24 Go out to the roads and country lanes 08:27 And make them come in, 08:29 make them come in So that My house will be full 08:35 Go out to the roads and country lanes 08:38 Go out to the roads and country lanes 08:42 And make them come in, 08:44 make them come in So that My house will be full 08:49 Go out to the roads and country lanes 08:53 Go out to the roads and country lanes 08:56 And make them come in, 08:58 make them come in So that My house will be full 09:09 If you've ever lost a pet or a favorite toy, 09:12 you should be able to understand 09:14 what this next verse is talking about. 09:17 When you lose something really special, 09:20 you look everywhere you can think of. 09:23 If you lose a pet, 09:24 you may drive around the neighborhood 09:26 calling the pet's name 09:28 or put up posters with the pet's picture 09:31 and your phone number 09:32 so that if anyone sees it, they can call you. 09:36 If you don't find it right away, 09:39 you may look for days or weeks. 09:42 But when you find your pet, it makes you so happy. 09:47 If you've ever found something special that was lost, 09:50 you know how God and the angels feel. 09:53 When we say we're sorry for something we've done wrong, 09:56 they get excited and they rejoice. 10:00 Listen. 10:01 "There is rejoicing 10:03 in the presence of the angels of God 10:04 over one sinner who repents." 10:06 Luke 15:10. 10:09 There is rejoicing 10:12 There is rejoicing 10:14 In the presence of the angels of God 10:19 Over one sinner who repents 10:24 There is rejoicing 10:29 There is rejoicing 10:31 There is rejoicing 10:33 In the presence of the angels of God 10:38 Over one sinner who repents 10:43 There is rejoicing 10:48 There is rejoicing 10:50 There is rejoicing 10:52 In the presence of the angels of God 10:57 Over one sinner who repents 11:02 There is rejoicing 11:07 There is rejoicing 11:12 There is rejoicing 11:21 Have you ever told a friend or your brother or sister 11:24 that you were sorry for being unkind 11:26 but they weren't willing to forgive you? 11:28 Maybe they didn't talk to you for a while 11:31 or they said unkind things about you 11:32 to your other friends. 11:34 You don't have to worry about that 11:36 when you confess your sins to God. 11:38 He is anxious to forgive our sins 11:41 and to give His power to overcome them. 11:43 He's only waiting for us to confess our sins 11:47 and to ask for His help to change. 11:51 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just, 11:54 and will forgive our sins 11:56 and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 11:59 1 John 1:9. 12:04 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just 12:10 And will forgive our sins and cleanse us 12:16 And cleanse us from all unrighteousness 12:22 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just 12:29 And will forgive our sins and cleanse us 12:34 And cleanse us from all unrighteousness 12:40 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just 12:47 And will forgive our sins and cleanse us 12:52 And cleanse us from all unrighteousness 12:58 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just 13:05 And will forgive our sins and cleanse us 13:10 And cleanse us from all unrighteousness 13:22 If you were blind 13:23 and someone was able to make you see, 13:25 do you think that you would be thankful? 13:27 I'm sure that you would be 13:29 and I'm sure that you would be anxious 13:31 to tell everyone you met 13:33 that someone had healed your eyes 13:34 and that you could see. 13:36 Jesus does many things 13:38 that may not seem as exciting as making the blind to see, 13:42 but we need to be sure that we thank Him 13:44 and that we tell others of how good He's been to us. 13:49 "Let them give thanks to the Lord 13:51 for His unfailing love 13:53 and His wonderful deeds for men." 13:56 Psalm 107:8. 14:01 Let them give thanks to the Lord 14:04 For His unfailing love 14:08 And His wonderful deeds for men 14:15 Let them give thanks to the Lord 14:19 For His unfailing love 14:23 And His wonderful deeds for men 14:30 Let them give thanks to the Lord 14:33 For His unfailing love 14:37 And His wonderful deeds for men 14:51 Do you remember the story of Jesus' friend Lazarus? 14:55 He became very sick and died. 14:58 His family and friends were very sad, 15:00 but Jesus had a special surprise for them. 15:04 He went to the tomb where Lazarus was there, 15:06 and after having the stone rolled away 15:09 from the entrance to the tomb, 15:11 He said, "Lazarus, come out," and Lazarus did. 15:15 You may have a close friend or family member who has died. 15:19 You were probably very sad when they died. 15:22 But Jesus is coming soon to take us to heaven. 15:25 And when He does, 15:26 He will call those who are dead, 15:28 and they will be raised to life 15:30 and come forth from their graves 15:32 just like Lazarus did, 15:34 except they will have new bodies. 15:36 That will be a very happy time. 15:40 "All who are in the grave shall hear His voice and come out." 15:44 John 5:28-29. 15:48 All who are in the grave 15:53 Shall hear His voice Shall hear His voice 15:58 All who are in the grave 16:03 Shall hear His voice and come out 16:08 All who are in the grave 16:12 Shall hear His voice Shall hear His voice 16:17 All who are in the grave 16:22 Shall hear His voice and come out 16:27 All who are in the grave 16:31 Shall hear His voice Shall hear His voice 16:37 All who are in the grave 16:41 Shall hear His voice and come out 16:51 Have you ever started to tell someone something 16:54 and they told you to go away because they were busy? 16:57 That's what the disciples told some mothers one day 17:00 when they brought their children to Jesus. 17:02 The disciples thought 17:03 Jesus had more important things to do. 17:06 But when Jesus saw what was happening, 17:08 He told the disciples 17:10 to let the little children come to Him. 17:12 We should never turn away anyone 17:14 who wants to learn about Jesus either 17:17 because everyone is important to Him. 17:21 "Jesus said, 17:22 'Let the little children come to me, 17:24 and do not hinder them, 17:26 for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" 17:30 Matthew 19:14. 17:34 Jesus said 17:37 Let the little children come to Me 17:43 And do not hinder them 17:49 For the kingdom of heaven 17:55 Belongs to such as these 18:01 Let the little children come to me 18:07 And do not hinder them 18:13 For the kingdom of heaven 18:19 Belongs to such as these 18:25 Let the little children come to me 18:31 And do not hinder them 18:37 For the kingdom of heaven 18:43 Belongs to such as these 18:55 One day, a very rich man asked Jesus 18:57 what he needed to do to be saved. 19:00 Jesus told him to keep the Commandments. 19:02 When the rich man said 19:03 that he had done that ever since he was a child, 19:06 Jesus told him to sell all that he had 19:08 and give his money to the poor and follow Him. 19:11 The Bible says that the man went away sad 19:14 because he had great riches. 19:17 Jesus doesn't expect everyone to sell their homes and cars 19:20 and furniture so they can help the poor. 19:23 What He was trying to teach this man 19:25 was that if he wanted to be ready to enjoy heaven, 19:28 he needed to learn to be unselfish. 19:31 Doing what Jesus asks us to do 19:34 is more important than anything else. 19:37 "Give to the poor, 19:38 and you will have treasure in heaven. 19:41 Then come and follow Me." 19:43 Matthew 19:21. 19:47 Give to the poor Give to the poor 19:51 And you will have treasure in heaven 19:55 Give to the poor 19:57 And you will have treasure in heaven 20:00 Then come and follow me 20:03 Give to the poor Give to the poor 20:07 And you will have treasure in heaven 20:11 Give to the poor 20:13 And you will have treasure in heaven 20:16 Then come and follow me 20:19 Give to the poor Give to the poor 20:22 And you will have treasure in heaven 20:27 Give to the poor 20:28 And you will have treasure in heaven 20:31 Then come and follow me 20:35 Give to the poor Give to the poor 20:38 And you will have treasure in heaven 20:42 Give to the poor 20:44 And you will have treasure in heaven 20:47 Then come and follow me 20:50 Give to the poor Give to the poor 20:54 And you will have treasure in heaven 20:58 Give to the poor 21:00 And you will have treasure in heaven 21:03 Then come and follow me 21:10 Do you know anyone who cheats? 21:13 Maybe some of your friends have cheated on test at school 21:16 or cheat when they play games. 21:18 Did you know that Jesus loves cheaters? 21:21 He hates cheating, 21:22 but He loves people even when they have cheated. 21:25 The story of Zacharias shows us that this is true. 21:29 If we were all perfect, 21:30 Jesus would not have needed to die on the cross. 21:33 The reason Jesus died was to save sinners. 21:37 And when we realize that Jesus loves us 21:39 no matter what we've done, 21:41 it makes us want to obey Him. 21:44 If we want to be like Jesus, 21:46 we need to love people 21:47 even when they have done things that are wrong. 21:50 And when they see 21:51 that we have Jesus' love in our hearts, 21:54 maybe they will want to obey Him too. 21:57 "The Son of Man 21:59 has come to seek and to save what is lost." 22:01 Luke 19:10. 22:06 The Son of Man has come to seek 22:10 Has come to seek and to save 22:15 The Son of Man has come to seek 22:20 And to save what is lost 22:25 The Son of Man has come to seek 22:30 Has come to seek and to save 22:35 The Son of Man has come to seek 22:39 And to save what is lost 22:44 The Son of Man has come to seek 22:49 Has come to seek and to save 22:54 The Son of Man has come to seek 22:58 And to save what is lost 23:04 The Son of Man has come to seek 23:08 Has come to seek and to save 23:13 The Son of Man has come to seek 23:17 And to save what is lost 23:29 Do you like to receive gifts? 23:32 I don't think I've ever known anyone who didn't. 23:35 Sometimes, people give us gifts 23:37 to show us that they appreciate something we've done for them. 23:40 But most of the time, 23:42 we receive gifts without doing anything to earn them. 23:45 When your parents give you a birthday present, 23:48 they don't give it to you because you deserve it 23:51 but because they love you. 23:52 And this is one way to show you 23:54 they're glad you're their child. 23:56 That's what grace is like. 23:58 The Bible says we're saved by grace. 24:01 We can't do anything to earn eternal life in heaven. 24:06 God will give the gift of eternal life 24:08 to those who accept it. 24:10 Not because of anything they've done 24:12 but because of their love for Jesus 24:14 who died to save them. 24:16 That's grace. 24:18 "It is by grace you have been saved, 24:21 through faith, and this not from yourselves, 24:25 it is the gift of God, not by works, 24:28 so that no one can boast." 24:30 Ephesians 2:8-9. 24:34 It is by grace you have been saved 24:38 Through faith and this not from yourselves 24:43 It is the gift of God, not by works 24:47 So that no one can boast 24:52 It is by grace you have been saved 24:56 Through faith and this not from yourselves 25:02 It is the gift of God, not by works 25:06 So that no one can boast 25:11 It is by grace you have been saved 25:15 Through faith and this not from yourselves 25:20 It is the gift of God, not by works 25:24 So that no one can boast 25:29 It is by grace you have been saved 25:33 Through faith and this not from yourselves 25:39 It is the gift of God, not by works 25:43 So that no one can boast 25:55 If someone says something nice to you 25:57 or if they do something nice for you, 25:59 it really makes you like that person, doesn't it? 26:02 That's what this next verse talks about. 26:05 Jesus loved us so much, even though we are sinners, 26:09 that He was willing to die for us 26:12 so that we might have eternal life, 26:14 and because He loves us so much, 26:17 we can love others even though they might not like us. 26:22 That's what God's love is all about, 26:24 and that's what makes God's love so special. 26:27 "We love because He first loved us." 26:30 1 John 4:19. 26:35 We love because He first loved us 26:40 Because He first loved us 26:44 We love because He first loved us 26:49 We love because He first loved us 26:55 Because He first loved us 26:58 We love because He first loved us 27:04 We love because He first loved us 27:09 Because He first loved us 27:13 We love because He first loved us 27:18 We love because He first loved us 27:24 Because He first loved us 27:27 We love because He first loved us |
