life I thought I knew

announced to the congregation

And then the pastor announced

It felt as
though someone had taken

down my drying throat.

understand what he was saying.

very valuable lesson

Not to say the least that wasn't
my last opportunity to speak,

invitation started coming in,
and I started traveling around.

I graduated from high school

and went to a Pentecostal
college in North Georgia.

And then transferred

to a Pentecostal seminary
in Greenville, South Carolina.

At that time, it was referred

Holmes was a very unique school.

It was a school of faith

and Holmes put a lot
of emphasis on rules,

regimentation, and regulations.

To give you a little idea,

And for the first hour,
