In chapter 4, Jesus has
spent all day teaching parables,

teaching about the kingdom of

cross over to the other side.

To the other side was about
seven miles away. And you know

the other side there's a storm

had to shackle them from head to

to here and they'd walk like
this. Now I've seen some of them

try to break that chain and you
know you sit there laughing at

them because all they're doing
is hurting themselves. Trying to

part that thing. But this guy,

death because the shackles
were still on him but they were

broken. Screaming, cutting
himself and most of all he's

possessed by demons. This man
is a psychopath. Let me see you

does he have the fetters on, but

He's a danger to society. He's

in the inner city of Detroit and

it's a place that most
folk don't want to come down to.

It's a place with a lot of good
folk. Let me say that. But those

who give Detroit a bad name...
It's a place where there are

good folk but it's also a place
with bad folk. And the place

where my church is it's one
of the most violent precincts in

all of Detroit. When we go into
church we go in as groups. When

we leave church we leave as
a group Our air conditioners on

top of the roof, somebody came
on top of the roof and stole

them. Cars have been stolen and
so when you see somebody walking

by you give them that this may
be the one. But all in all God

has taken care of His church and
His people. But there's not too

many folk who want to come down
to the inner city of Detroit and

do ministry because they are
afraid of the atmosphere. So I

can understand what Jesus
is dealing with right here when

there are those who are afraid
of the very ones that's created

just like them. And they're
afraid to come into contact with

people. So I can understand what
Jesus is going through in this

mind frame because we in society
get afraid of the inner city. So

as His disciples ran Jesus is
here face to face with the demon

and verse 6 said that he ran to
Jesus. Perhaps to lunge at him,

imagine Jesus being cool, calm

he's running. And he gets to

man began to worship Him. And
even in the midst of the worship

the devil does not want to let

Jesus, thou Son of the Most High
