Adventist Chaplain.

We were visiting
out at the East Carolina

camp meeting
and Mike was telling

about how they had
tried several times,

the ocean was
very rough and they had

tried several times
in some foreign country

to make it into the
harbor and they were

not successful, they
had to abort, they had

to go back out to sea.
Because of the roughness

and they had one
more time they could go.

If they did not make

a parable of a place

was a life saving
hut that was build,

out on a place and
people would go there

and manage, they
were volunteers and

they would go there
and they would sleep

and if there was
a shipwreck in that

harbor because they
seem to happen often,

they would take
the lifeboats and they

would go out and save people and

bring them back
in. They would be cold,

they would be wet,
they would be muddy

and they would bring
them back to that shack.

And as they were so successful,

the trauma of shipwreck

and this became more of a

club than a life saving station.

And some people got
very upset about that

sitting back and enjoying
