to share some things with you.

but a little while ago,

the Lord was giving me
some things this morning,

whether He changes
my course, I don't know.

But what I was
trying to think about

and what hit me last
night and this morning

is the difference
in the early church,

the Christian church
and the church of today.

Now the early church as
you know they came together,

Acts, we won't go
through all of it.
00:07:16.38\00:07:17.92
In Acts, the 2nd Chapter says,

they all came
together in one accord,
00:07:19.57\00:07:21.96
daily they were
breaking bread together.

And I mean people were
dividing up their possessions
00:07:24.55\00:07:27.89
and giving and sharing among.

You know the story right.

And then I go over to
the 4th and 5th Chapter,

and I see that the
disciples were arrested,

because they were bold, it says.

Peter and John,
they spoke with boldness

and so the leaders
were getting upset.

So they were
arrested and jailed.

And I saw a
movement, where Jesus said,

"Go ye into all the
world", Mathew 28:18-19-20,

"Go ye into all the world

preach the Gospel
into all the world."

We see a movement of lay people,
00:08:00.97\00:08:03.89
coming from all
different walks of life,

coming under the
annoying of the Holy Spirit,
00:08:06.60\00:08:08.95
and we are seeing
blind eye is opened,
00:08:08.96\00:08:10.76
we are seeing the
lame to walk again.

We are seeing many,
many tremendous things

happening under
after the day of Pentecost,

Pentecost under the
anointing of the Holy Spirit.

And so now we
believe as church members,

that we are going
to see a latter rain,

an outpouring
of the Holy Spirit,

and this is going
to be the first rain,

it's going to be
like a little one compared

to the big one, right.

I mean there are
more profess Christians

I believe in the world today

than they were
people total back then.

And so I'm told that
including all the Christians,

there must be
something like a billion people

on this earth they
claim to be Christians.

So I say, well, if the
latter rain is going to come

and this earth is
going to be lightened

with the glory of God.

Jesus said 200 years ago,

world and yet the Gospel

is still not into
the all the world.

What's the
difference in the early church

and the church of today?

The early Christians it
says, they were arrested.

They were arrested for going out

and giving the
Gospel with such boldness.

And it hit me just while ago,

I sat in the
pastor's office and I said,

Lord, what is the difference

between that
church and us today?

What could this church?

What could our
church to Christian church

of today get arrested for?

The first thing that popped
in my mind was loitering right,

and by with me.
That's about the only thing

most of us would
get arrested for,

it's just sitting
around doing nothing right,

loitering on a
street corner somewhere.

And I said this is no
good, I mean Jesus said,

take the Gospel
into all the world.
00:09:45.09\00:09:47.20
These few handful of
people began to take it
00:09:47.21\00:09:50.02
to the then known
world and great science
00:09:50.03\00:09:52.52
and wonders followed after them.

And yet today 2000 years later,

we have technology that,
00:09:57.20\00:09:59.02
well, as we are
speaking here today in Shiloh,

there are people in
Russia, India, China,

just went on China,
just a few weeks ago
00:10:05.07\00:10:07.13
reaching much of
China, India, Asia,
00:10:07.14\00:10:10.59
countries around the world.

We get emails and
letters from Afghanistan

as mentioned this morning,

from Iraq, Iran,
Syria, Saudi Arabia.

People are watching this
program around the world,

we are going up to 8 satellites.

down to earth back up,

all doing it in a

I believe one of the problems
that we have today is that

we don't take
personal responsibility

for God's great commission
of Mathew 28:18-19 and 20.

As church members,
as Christians today

we depend on our
pastors to do it.

We depend on our
church outreach to do it.
00:11:18.11\00:11:20.55
We depend on
ministries like 3ABN

or It Is Written or
Breath of Life to do it

and somehow we
think that releases us.

We can buy
somebody a satellite dish

and think that's all
we are supposed to do,

so they can watch 3ABN, right.

But see God wants us to
get personally involved,

but it's hard to
get personally involved

if we don't have a
personal relationship

with the
Creator of The Universe.

I'm writing new little book

it's called the
Church Rumor Mill.

And it talks about how the
rumor mill started in heaven.
00:12:19.22\00:12:23.37
You remember he perfect world,
00:12:23.38\00:12:25.29
perfect heaven, but
Satan for some reason,
00:12:25.30\00:12:28.84
we will know this
when we get to heaven.
00:12:28.85\00:12:31.02
But for some reason he began
00:12:31.03\00:12:32.34
to covet God's
position, didn't he?
00:12:32.35\00:12:34.92
And he wanted to be, he says,

I should be like
the Most High God.

We could read
about this in Revelation
00:12:38.16\00:12:40.51
and also back in Isaiah.
00:12:40.52\00:12:41.96
But I should be
like the Most High God.

Well, in order to
be the Most High God,

he has to get some support
and he has to build an army.

So what does he do? He
begins to go, talk, talk,

using his mouth to try to
bare false witness against God.

That's breaking
another commandment, isn't it?

So he covered
it and now he began

to bare false witness,
so he could gain supporters,

so he could overthrow the
Creator God of the Universe.

Now what was he thinking?

Huh, What was he thinking?

Wasn't thinking at all
was he, he was selfish.

Now some people say,
well, the Ten Commandments

they only came into effect
when God gave them to Moses,

and the children of
Israel, and God gave them

to Moses on Mount Sinai.
00:13:24.99\00:13:26.22
But I have to tell
you the Ten Commandments

have been here from
the beginning of time,

because the Ten Commandments
00:13:30.47\00:13:31.74
are nothing more than transcript
00:13:31.75\00:13:33.32
of God's own character.

And the Bible says, in
John that God is a God of love,

that God is love.
00:13:38.98\00:13:40.88
So here we have Satan up here

and he is breaking
the Ten Commandments.

Well, if there is no
sin, if there is no law,

there is no sin, right?
00:13:47.46\00:13:49.00
If they were no
Ten Commandments,
00:13:49.01\00:13:50.32
and he didn't do
wrong by coveting,
00:13:50.33\00:13:52.14
by baring false
witness, but what happened is,

as you know and I won't
go through the whole story.

It says in
Revelation that Satan,

that old serpent, the dragon,
00:13:59.57\00:14:01.07
was cast out and a
third of the stars of heaven
00:14:01.08\00:14:03.60
went to him to this earth.
00:14:03.61\00:14:05.07
And what happens
is Satan began to work
00:14:05.08\00:14:07.58
on this earth to
destroy everybody that he could,
00:14:07.59\00:14:10.82
everybody they can? So during...

what we call the
dark ages he began to use

churches as it will,
powers, religious powers
00:14:16.47\00:14:19.95
to kill millions of people.

Now, I wrote down
something that hit me while ago,

nothing hurts Christianity worse

than professed
Christians not living

according to the
great Gospel commission

of "Go ye into all
the world". Nothing hurts.

We don't have to worry
about what's on the outside.

Who cares what an
atheist thinks, right about God.

They don't have
any right, right.

I mean, they say or an agnostic.

Well, I don't
believe in God or whatever.

We don't care what they say,

because no matter what
anybody tells me and says to me.

I know that God is

he lives in my

called the Church of Rome
at the time began to persecute

Now that was his tactics.

I want to just get
rid of all the Christians.

It's okay to do that back then.

politically correct, right,

when you are in
charge of everything.

So Satan goes out and
he says, I will just kill

all the Christians,

So he likes to come in
and deal inside the church

and so today I believe

looking at some problems

and the reason the Gospel
is not gone into all the world.

Satan's tactics are the same,

But what Satan did in heaven

he is now doing
today within the church.

The rumor mill
is alive and well,

within the Christian church.

I've been a victim of it.

victimized people about it.

confession is good for the soul,

yet hard on the
reputation, right.

because I can't stand here

finger at you all without

pointing back at me.

So I've been guilty,

of doing that myself.

And the rumor mill

assassinate his character.

Christian people to
assassinate each other.

They are character.
No, it's not politically

correct to kill somebody,

you know, today and
there is laws against it.

So what we do is as
we began to say things

about people and then act like
