they even had
babies in their bedroom,

maybe three or four at a time.

And so Sunshine has been very
special through a lot of years.

I was taking a list of children
in one of our other schools

and when I was asking them

how many of them
had both parents,

when there was 300 children,
I checked in that school

there was 200 of them

that only had one
parent or no parents

and that was in
a boarding school,

not in a particular orphanage.

Suicide is something
that's very common in India.

father killed their mother,

and then he committed suicide.

Now the littlest boy,

he was just so
distraught by this.

When he came to Sunshine
from a year or two years,

he wouldn't even speak.

But now he is a
happy little boy.

And it's wonderful to be able
to provide a safe environment

for these children to live in.
