unusual testimony

Well, I got up that morning

and for about four or five days,

my wife and I
had been disagreeing

like couples usually do.

And I went off to work.

And I was praying to the Lord
and I kept talking to the Lord

all through the day
about what was going on

in the household
between my wife and myself.

And I couldn't
get into my studies

the way I needed to.

there's a separation

between me and the Lord.

I noticed something was
not right about the house.

And I looked where I would
have put the mail on this table

and it was gone.

Well, that table

is the one thing
that my wife's treasure.

So that being
gone made me feel like,

and her clothes were gone.

So my wife had left me

I've been watching
Amazing Facts for three years,

watching Doug Batchelor on TV,

getting a little bit about

what was going on
in keeping the Sabbath.

So I prayed a little
bit about it to the Lord,

and He revealed to
me that I needed to go.

And I kind of tried to find
an excuse why I shouldn't go.

But I've been actually praying
for this for quite a while.

So I went, and by doing so,
God has healed just not myself,

but He also brought my wife
back to where we're talking.

church wanted to have a wedding.

ministerial family pioneers
in self-supporting work,

involved in the foundation
and starting up of Wildwood.

Edwin made that his
life goal in his life work.

Maribel was a
nurse trained at Madison

and they served for
years in a self-supporting work
00:18:53.43\00:18:58.30
in during poverty
00:18:58.33\00:18:59.67
and all the
sacrifice that that involves.

There came a time when
they went into business.

And then going into business,
they prospered and did well.

And at one time, he was honored

as the National
Nursing Home Administrator

in all of the United States.

Maribel have seen poverty

and they have seen prosperity.

They never forgot
where they came from.
