What you're about to hear 00:01:00.76\00:01:03.93 will change your life. 00:01:03.96\00:01:05.79 It'll inspire and strengthen your faith in God. 00:01:05.83\00:01:09.93 Some of you have heard sirens 00:01:09.96\00:01:11.70 and have seen flashing lights on your way 00:01:11.73\00:01:14.30 to the emergency room like I have. 00:01:14.34\00:01:18.41 Many of you have been confronted with 00:01:18.44\00:01:20.11 or will be confronted with serious challenges 00:01:20.14\00:01:23.45 to your very existence. 00:01:23.48\00:01:27.55 Kathy Smith was born 00:01:27.58\00:01:29.05 in a remote logging and lumber camp 00:01:29.08\00:01:31.55 in Northern British Columbia, 00:01:31.59\00:01:33.66 of her Auld Jacobson family. 00:01:33.69\00:01:37.06 She grew up with two older brothers, 00:01:37.09\00:01:39.69 and a hard working yet loving parents. 00:01:39.73\00:01:43.43 God abundantly blessed that family 00:01:43.47\00:01:46.40 and her mother and dad heard the call of God 00:01:46.43\00:01:50.67 and they chose to move from financial success 00:01:50.71\00:01:53.88 into real significance. 00:01:53.91\00:01:56.91 The family went on to Eden Valley Institute 00:01:56.95\00:02:00.85 where they took six months of training, 00:02:00.88\00:02:03.28 and then began establishing 00:02:03.32\00:02:05.29 medical and educational institutions 00:02:05.32\00:02:08.32 in Northern British Columbia. 00:02:08.36\00:02:11.33 Kathy studied and then graduated 00:02:11.36\00:02:14.20 from Fairhaven Academy, 00:02:14.23\00:02:16.36 and then went on to Weimar College. 00:02:16.40\00:02:19.67 After marrying Stan Smith, 00:02:19.70\00:02:22.97 their family was blessed with two lovely daughters, 00:02:23.00\00:02:25.51 one of whom you saw a little earlier this morning. 00:02:25.54\00:02:28.91 It appeared that their lives were ideal almost storybook 00:02:28.94\00:02:34.22 until a tragic, tragic event took place 00:02:34.25\00:02:37.62 just four years ago. 00:02:37.65\00:02:40.46 Kathy, come and tell us this morning 00:02:40.49\00:02:43.76 how God hears and answers prayers. 00:02:43.79\00:02:47.43 Thank you. 00:02:47.46\00:02:48.93 Toward the end of King Nebuchadnezzar's life. 00:02:57.94\00:03:01.34 He wrote to all the people in his kingdom. 00:03:01.38\00:03:04.08 And he said, "It's my pleasure to tell you 00:03:04.11\00:03:07.58 about the miraculous signs and wonders 00:03:07.62\00:03:09.68 that the Most High God has performed for me." 00:03:09.72\00:03:13.56 And this morning that is what I want to do. 00:03:13.59\00:03:15.82 I want to share with you a special answer to prayer 00:03:15.86\00:03:18.89 that happened to me four years ago, 00:03:18.93\00:03:21.46 and the ASI family played an integral part. 00:03:21.50\00:03:25.73 In the book, the Patriarchs and Prophets, 00:03:25.77\00:03:27.87 we are told that, 00:03:27.90\00:03:29.34 "The Christian should often review his past life 00:03:29.37\00:03:32.77 and recall with gratitude the precious deliverances 00:03:32.81\00:03:36.31 that God has wrought for him, 00:03:36.34\00:03:38.61 supporting him in trial, 00:03:38.65\00:03:40.85 opening ways before him 00:03:40.88\00:03:42.22 when all seemed dark and forbidding, 00:03:42.25\00:03:44.59 refreshing him when ready to faint. 00:03:44.62\00:03:46.99 And he should recognize them 00:03:47.02\00:03:48.62 as evidences of the watchcare of heavenly angels." 00:03:48.66\00:03:53.80 July 8, 2002, was a lovely summer day 00:03:53.83\00:03:58.07 and I awoke with a headache, which is unusual for me. 00:03:58.10\00:04:01.64 It was Sabbath, 00:04:01.67\00:04:03.00 and I have responsibilities at church. 00:04:03.04\00:04:05.71 So before getting ready for church, 00:04:05.74\00:04:07.14 I went for a walk to help clear my head. 00:04:07.18\00:04:10.55 I had just recovered from one of the worst coughs 00:04:10.58\00:04:13.01 that I've ever had. 00:04:13.05\00:04:15.25 And I was actually acting very tired at church. 00:04:15.28\00:04:18.52 And my husband suggested 00:04:18.55\00:04:19.92 that I should drive home and have a rest. 00:04:19.95\00:04:22.56 And as I was having trouble concentrating anyways, 00:04:22.59\00:04:25.49 I followed his advice and drove home and had a sleep. 00:04:25.53\00:04:30.10 After church when we were preparing lunch, 00:04:30.13\00:04:32.67 I started to mix up my words 00:04:32.70\00:04:34.60 and lose some of the coordination 00:04:34.64\00:04:35.97 of my right side. 00:04:36.00\00:04:37.87 This alarmed Stan, 00:04:37.91\00:04:39.54 and he had once drove me to a hospital, 00:04:39.57\00:04:41.91 which was about 20 minutes away. 00:04:41.94\00:04:44.45 By the time I arrived there, 00:04:44.48\00:04:46.65 I had lost my ability to basically talk 00:04:46.68\00:04:50.29 and some of my mobility on my right side, 00:04:50.32\00:04:53.42 and was mentally confused. 00:04:53.46\00:04:56.56 After preliminary testing, 00:04:56.59\00:04:58.59 they decided to transfer me by ambulance 00:04:58.63\00:05:00.60 to a larger hospital that's about two hours away. 00:05:00.63\00:05:04.83 And by the time I got there, 00:05:04.87\00:05:06.20 I could no longer speech and was basically, 00:05:06.23\00:05:09.74 on my right side was not working very well at all. 00:05:09.77\00:05:12.37 And then Roland just said, 00:05:12.41\00:05:14.31 he said, "You are having a severe stroke." 00:05:14.34\00:05:17.78 And they said that an MRI scan 00:05:17.81\00:05:19.45 would probably tell us the reason why, 00:05:19.48\00:05:21.92 but that none would be available 00:05:21.95\00:05:23.28 for several days. 00:05:23.32\00:05:25.19 I continue to worsen throughout the evening. 00:05:25.22\00:05:28.02 And by midnight, 00:05:28.06\00:05:29.39 I was completely paralyzed on the right side 00:05:29.42\00:05:31.69 and unable to speak. 00:05:31.73\00:05:34.10 The following day, I continue to deteriorate, 00:05:34.13\00:05:36.87 and the right side of my face drooped 00:05:36.90\00:05:38.73 and I continue to not be able to speak and was hemiplegic. 00:05:38.77\00:05:43.07 Previously, my father had had several small strokes. 00:05:43.10\00:05:46.51 So I was familiar with strokes, 00:05:46.54\00:05:48.54 and I knew that the one I was having was severe. 00:05:48.58\00:05:52.01 And I was scared. 00:05:52.05\00:05:53.42 What was happening? Why was it happening to me? 00:05:53.45\00:05:55.62 And I always been so careful with my diet and exercise 00:05:55.65\00:05:58.55 and I was committed to a healthy lifestyle. 00:05:58.59\00:06:02.52 And what would have caused it? 00:06:02.56\00:06:04.49 And how bad was it gonna be? 00:06:04.53\00:06:06.46 Was there gonna be more? 00:06:06.49\00:06:09.46 Was I going to be an invalid? 00:06:09.50\00:06:12.40 Three weeks before I had had my 40th birthday, 00:06:12.43\00:06:15.50 and although I felt old, I wasn't ready for this. 00:06:15.54\00:06:18.47 I wasn't afraid of dying. 00:06:22.04\00:06:24.38 But I did have a lot to live for. 00:06:24.41\00:06:26.15 So I really wanted to live. 00:06:26.18\00:06:28.45 And after evaluating me on the day after the stroke, 00:06:28.48\00:06:31.22 the neurologist stated 00:06:31.25\00:06:33.25 that I would have permanent damage 00:06:33.29\00:06:34.92 and although only time could tell how much, 00:06:34.96\00:06:37.63 the outlook was very discouraging, 00:06:37.66\00:06:40.10 difficulty walking and talking would probably be permanent. 00:06:40.13\00:06:44.03 And I should expect permanent effects 00:06:44.07\00:06:45.87 on my appearance such as drooping 00:06:45.90\00:06:47.47 on the right side of my face. 00:06:47.50\00:06:48.84 Now you're all trying to think which is the right side, right? 00:06:48.87\00:06:53.81 Stroke statistics in the North America indicate 00:06:53.84\00:06:57.35 that strokes are the third leading cause of death. 00:06:57.38\00:07:01.42 And that every 45 seconds 00:07:01.45\00:07:03.95 somebody in the US has a stroke. 00:07:03.99\00:07:07.29 However, my case didn't fit the profile 00:07:07.32\00:07:09.56 of a typical stroke victim. 00:07:09.59\00:07:11.96 And the doctors were limited with the speed 00:07:11.99\00:07:14.10 which were taken or the tests 00:07:14.13\00:07:15.66 that would actually tell us what was really happening. 00:07:15.70\00:07:18.70 And our inability to have answers 00:07:18.73\00:07:23.10 started my husband Stan, 00:07:23.14\00:07:25.41 looking to the hospitals in the United States. 00:07:25.44\00:07:29.18 At this point, I need to tell you 00:07:29.21\00:07:31.21 about our experience with ASI. 00:07:31.25\00:07:34.72 We joined ASI when the National Convention 00:07:34.75\00:07:37.92 was held in Toronto, Ontario, and that was 1993. 00:07:37.95\00:07:43.12 And Tony Montes Dear actually traveled to Lillooet, 00:07:43.16\00:07:46.70 trying to recruit us as members and to encourage us 00:07:46.73\00:07:50.63 to attend the convention especially as it was in Canada. 00:07:50.67\00:07:54.47 We attended that year and haven't missed one since. 00:07:54.50\00:07:58.37 When we attended, Sondra was our daughter 00:07:58.41\00:08:01.11 and she was about six years old and Alana was eight. 00:08:01.14\00:08:04.51 And they loved ASI. 00:08:04.55\00:08:06.72 And they look forward to it every year. 00:08:06.75\00:08:09.45 In fact, at the time of my stroke, 00:08:09.48\00:08:11.82 Alana was in Columbus, Ohio 00:08:11.85\00:08:14.09 for the ASI Youth for Jesus event 00:08:14.12\00:08:15.89 that was happening there. 00:08:15.92\00:08:18.33 And news travels fast 00:08:18.36\00:08:19.86 and within only a few hours of my stroke, 00:08:19.89\00:08:23.26 Dwight Hildebrandt, the Secretary Treasurer of ASI 00:08:23.30\00:08:26.90 at that time called to the hospital 00:08:26.94\00:08:28.77 to encourage us and to tell us 00:08:28.80\00:08:30.64 that the ASI family was praying. 00:08:30.67\00:08:33.94 And as any of you 00:08:33.98\00:08:35.31 who attend the convention regularly know 00:08:35.34\00:08:38.85 that ASI family is like extended family. 00:08:38.88\00:08:42.25 And it was that extended family network 00:08:42.28\00:08:44.99 that made the difference. 00:08:45.02\00:08:46.96 Beginning in 2000, 00:08:46.99\00:08:48.32 Stan had served as an ASI officer 00:08:48.36\00:08:50.56 when the ASI evangelism event 00:08:50.59\00:08:54.30 was happening in the Philippines. 00:08:54.33\00:08:55.73 You've heard them talk about that. 00:08:55.76\00:08:57.37 And we went and we actually met Dr. Peters Mars, 00:08:57.40\00:09:01.70 a friend of Denzel and Donna McNeilus. 00:09:01.74\00:09:04.91 And he was from Rochester, Minnesota 00:09:04.94\00:09:07.38 and head of cardiology for the Mayo Clinic. 00:09:07.41\00:09:11.08 On the day after my stroke, 00:09:11.11\00:09:13.35 Denzel McNeilus the ASI President at the time 00:09:13.38\00:09:16.32 called to encourage us 00:09:16.35\00:09:18.12 and suggested to Stan that I go to the Mayo Clinic, 00:09:18.15\00:09:21.26 and he reminded us that Dr. Smars was there 00:09:21.29\00:09:24.19 and he offered to talk to him. 00:09:24.23\00:09:26.93 It was Sunday 00:09:26.96\00:09:28.33 and Dr. Smars was horseback riding 00:09:28.36\00:09:30.43 in a very rural location. 00:09:30.47\00:09:33.54 And Denzel called him just a short time 00:09:33.57\00:09:37.01 when he was in self-service. 00:09:37.04\00:09:39.47 And he was also riding with the individual 00:09:39.51\00:09:42.48 who is responsible for transportation 00:09:42.51\00:09:44.68 from the Mayo Clinic. 00:09:44.71\00:09:47.12 So within a very short time, there was an air ambulance 00:09:47.15\00:09:50.29 that was on his way to Canada to pick me up. 00:09:50.32\00:09:53.12 And the timing was more than coincidence. 00:09:53.15\00:09:56.83 I don't remember arriving at the Mayo Clinic, 00:09:56.86\00:09:59.73 but I was given a care 00:09:59.76\00:10:01.76 that is synonymous with the Mayo Clinic. 00:10:01.80\00:10:05.93 And within hours of testing was completed 00:10:05.97\00:10:08.24 that showed that my stroke was caused from the tear 00:10:08.27\00:10:11.11 on the carotid artery, a very rare occurrence. 00:10:11.14\00:10:15.44 And while it was a relief to have the facts, 00:10:15.48\00:10:18.81 it didn't change the damage that had been done 00:10:18.85\00:10:21.18 and I was still paralyzed and I still couldn't speak, 00:10:21.22\00:10:24.52 and visions of being permanently 00:10:24.55\00:10:26.15 in a wheelchair loomed in my mind. 00:10:26.19\00:10:28.72 And it was so hard to see 00:10:28.76\00:10:30.09 my husband's concern look on his face 00:10:30.13\00:10:32.43 and I couldn't communicate with him. 00:10:32.46\00:10:35.26 And you have to know that for me 00:10:35.30\00:10:37.33 losing my speech is very important. 00:10:37.37\00:10:40.04 I love to talk, not up here, but I love to talk. 00:10:40.07\00:10:45.27 And I rightly earned the endearing name of yip yap 00:10:45.31\00:10:49.04 when I was a little kid. 00:10:49.08\00:10:50.88 And even though I have observed people 00:10:50.91\00:10:54.18 who have had a stroke, and I understood 00:10:54.22\00:10:56.52 the physical limitations of paralysis 00:10:56.55\00:11:00.79 and speech impediment so and so forth. 00:11:00.82\00:11:03.09 I always thought it was simply the inability 00:11:03.12\00:11:05.56 to make the sounds of talking. 00:11:05.59\00:11:07.63 What I never knew was 00:11:07.66\00:11:09.10 really that the damage can actually be at the point 00:11:09.13\00:11:11.73 where the thought and speech is actually formulated, 00:11:11.77\00:11:14.67 not just the ability to make the right sound. 00:11:14.70\00:11:18.34 In my case, even though I had the use of my left hand, 00:11:18.37\00:11:21.98 I could still not communicate even by writing 00:11:22.01\00:11:24.58 or drawing through pictures. 00:11:24.61\00:11:26.92 When trying to get a point across 00:11:26.95\00:11:28.35 to stand making gestures, 00:11:28.38\00:11:30.09 he gave me a pad of paper and a pen. 00:11:30.12\00:11:32.45 And I fully expected to be able to communicate that way. 00:11:32.49\00:11:36.52 But nothing I wrote made any sense. 00:11:36.56\00:11:39.23 And I was also incapable of solving 00:11:39.26\00:11:42.16 even the simplest mathematical equations 00:11:42.20\00:11:44.37 such as five minus three. 00:11:44.40\00:11:46.57 You should have seen his face on that one. 00:11:46.60\00:11:50.91 And I knew that I knew the answers, 00:11:50.94\00:11:53.88 but I just couldn't open the door 00:11:53.91\00:11:55.31 in my mind where that was, 00:11:55.34\00:11:56.78 and it was so frustrating. 00:11:56.81\00:12:00.12 A few days after arriving in Minnesota, 00:12:00.15\00:12:02.98 Pastor Louis Torres came to the hospital. 00:12:03.02\00:12:05.82 And he was on his way to Columbus 00:12:05.85\00:12:07.46 to the ASI Youth for Jesus event. 00:12:07.49\00:12:09.99 And he had prayer with me and I was anointed. 00:12:10.03\00:12:12.96 And he was so encouraging. 00:12:12.99\00:12:15.46 And I will never forget what he said 00:12:15.50\00:12:16.93 when he left the room. 00:12:16.97\00:12:18.30 He says, "We'll see you at the National Convention." 00:12:18.33\00:12:21.40 Just blew me away, I thought, "That's impossible." 00:12:21.44\00:12:24.31 That's only a few weeks away. 00:12:24.34\00:12:26.64 And I remember thinking, 00:12:26.68\00:12:28.01 wouldn't it be awesome to be like in Bible times, 00:12:28.04\00:12:31.15 where you just walk out the hospital door 00:12:31.18\00:12:33.55 and be healed. 00:12:33.58\00:12:35.05 But, you know, recovery is still a miracle 00:12:35.08\00:12:37.19 even if it isn't instant. 00:12:37.22\00:12:40.26 And in the book Counsels on Health, it says, 00:12:40.29\00:12:42.42 "God is working, day by day, hour by hour, moment by moment, 00:12:42.46\00:12:46.80 to keep us alive, to build us up and restore us. 00:12:46.83\00:12:50.90 When any part of the body sustains injury, 00:12:50.93\00:12:54.17 a healing process is at once begun. 00:12:54.20\00:12:57.51 Nature's agencies are set at work to restore soundness. 00:12:57.54\00:13:01.81 But the power working through these agencies 00:13:01.84\00:13:04.58 is the power of God. 00:13:04.61\00:13:06.45 All life-giving powers from Him. 00:13:06.48\00:13:09.18 Sickness, suffering, and death 00:13:09.22\00:13:11.55 are the work of an antagonistic power. 00:13:11.59\00:13:13.99 Satan is a destroyer. 00:13:14.02\00:13:15.42 And God is the restorer." 00:13:15.46\00:13:18.99 The Mayo Clinic started me on rehabilitation right away. 00:13:19.03\00:13:22.30 And I had great therapists that kept encouraging me. 00:13:22.33\00:13:25.50 And even though it was hard work, 00:13:25.53\00:13:27.04 and their progress seems so small, 00:13:27.07\00:13:29.20 my hope of recovery began to soar. 00:13:29.24\00:13:32.27 I remember how excited I was 00:13:32.31\00:13:33.78 just to see my thumb move just a little. 00:13:33.81\00:13:36.85 And I be able to make sounds that were sort of speech 00:13:36.88\00:13:39.78 she couldn't really understand them, 00:13:39.81\00:13:41.22 but the peace and quiet was over my speech 00:13:41.25\00:13:43.79 was coming back. 00:13:43.82\00:13:46.19 And my husband Stan 00:13:46.22\00:13:47.56 was such an encouragement to me. 00:13:47.59\00:13:49.69 Every single day he would read to me 00:13:49.72\00:13:51.69 from the well-known book, The Desire of Ages, 00:13:51.73\00:13:55.23 especially the stories of Christ's healing. 00:13:55.26\00:13:58.63 And one evening when I was rather down, 00:13:58.67\00:14:01.54 he showed me a small stone. 00:14:01.57\00:14:04.11 And right away I knew where it was from. 00:14:04.14\00:14:06.71 The previous summer we had taken a trip 00:14:06.74\00:14:08.71 to the Waldensian Valleys in Italy. 00:14:08.74\00:14:11.25 And while there he picked up a small stone 00:14:11.28\00:14:13.82 from the floor of the cave 00:14:13.85\00:14:15.18 where the Waldensians had met to worship. 00:14:15.22\00:14:18.22 And where many of them had died 00:14:18.25\00:14:19.59 when they were betrayed and discovered. 00:14:19.62\00:14:22.46 And that stone reminded me how we are to remain faithful, 00:14:22.49\00:14:26.56 even though times are hard, 00:14:26.59\00:14:28.06 and you don't understand 00:14:28.10\00:14:29.43 why things are happening the way they are. 00:14:29.46\00:14:33.10 I remember the day that Stan took me out to eat, 00:14:33.13\00:14:36.00 I was able to leave the hospital 00:14:36.04\00:14:37.37 for just a few hours. 00:14:37.41\00:14:39.14 And my therapist had showed me 00:14:39.17\00:14:41.14 how to do the car wheelchair transfers and so forth. 00:14:41.18\00:14:43.88 So I was all set. 00:14:43.91\00:14:46.58 But I burst into tears 00:14:46.61\00:14:47.95 as we drove out of the parking lot. 00:14:47.98\00:14:49.95 It was just too much to handle. 00:14:49.98\00:14:51.99 Life was gonna go on 00:14:52.02\00:14:53.42 and I was gonna be able to be a part of it. 00:14:53.46\00:14:56.39 We take so much for granted until it's taken from us. 00:14:56.42\00:15:01.63 It's a huge blessing, you know, to have a supportive family 00:15:01.66\00:15:05.27 and my husband was so amazing. 00:15:05.30\00:15:07.74 He was always there beside me encouraging me 00:15:07.77\00:15:10.51 and making me feel like his princess 00:15:10.54\00:15:12.14 and my girls are the best speech pathologists 00:15:12.17\00:15:15.01 in the world. 00:15:15.04\00:15:16.88 And that we've had so many good laughs 00:15:16.91\00:15:18.91 of the words that I can mess up on 00:15:18.95\00:15:20.62 and believe me there are many. 00:15:20.65\00:15:22.58 And they always find new words 00:15:22.62\00:15:24.29 that I can't say and keeping at me 00:15:24.32\00:15:26.49 until I say it right. 00:15:26.52\00:15:28.89 But, you know, you have no idea 00:15:28.92\00:15:31.19 how encouraging it was to know that you, 00:15:31.23\00:15:33.70 all of my ASI family was praying for me. 00:15:33.73\00:15:37.03 I got so many encouraging letters, 00:15:37.07\00:15:39.53 and cards, and flowers from so many of you 00:15:39.57\00:15:42.47 and it meant the world to me. 00:15:42.50\00:15:44.74 And then McNeilus family 00:15:44.77\00:15:46.11 went the extra mile in visiting me 00:15:46.14\00:15:47.84 and making me feel at home in Minnesota, 00:15:47.88\00:15:50.91 and their friendship and hospitality 00:15:50.95\00:15:52.61 was a huge encouragement. 00:15:52.65\00:15:55.98 Our home is on the campus 00:15:56.02\00:15:57.35 of Fountainview Academy in British Columbia. 00:15:57.39\00:16:00.42 And after my stroke, the school family there 00:16:00.46\00:16:02.86 met together every morning and evening 00:16:02.89\00:16:05.73 to pray for my recovery. 00:16:05.76\00:16:07.93 And to know that your church family 00:16:07.96\00:16:09.43 is praying for you is awesome. 00:16:09.46\00:16:12.50 And when someone calls me now, 00:16:12.53\00:16:14.47 and tells me about something that I need to pray for someone 00:16:14.50\00:16:17.91 has whole new meaning 00:16:17.94\00:16:19.27 because I know the power of prayer. 00:16:19.31\00:16:21.61 And I know what it means 00:16:21.64\00:16:22.98 to have someone praying for you. 00:16:23.01\00:16:26.41 As I was preparing my thoughts to share with you, 00:16:26.45\00:16:29.62 I went through all the cards and letters 00:16:29.65\00:16:31.69 that were so encouraging to me. 00:16:31.72\00:16:34.59 And there was one in particular that was significant. 00:16:34.62\00:16:37.76 It was from Jeffrey. 00:16:37.79\00:16:39.16 He was a student 00:16:39.19\00:16:40.53 at Ouachita Hills Academy at the time. 00:16:40.56\00:16:42.90 And he wrote to tell me how nine months previously, 00:16:42.93\00:16:46.07 he had been paralyzed on one side 00:16:46.10\00:16:48.54 and had been unable to talk as well. 00:16:48.57\00:16:51.17 And while he was in the hospital, 00:16:51.21\00:16:52.97 he had received a letter from someone 00:16:53.01\00:16:54.98 who he had never met that really encouraged him. 00:16:55.01\00:16:58.15 As she had been in the same situation 00:16:58.18\00:17:00.45 and it had a miraculous recovery. 00:17:00.48\00:17:03.95 The night after he heard about me, he could not sleep. 00:17:03.99\00:17:07.69 And he got up in the night 00:17:07.72\00:17:09.32 to write to me and encouraged me 00:17:09.36\00:17:11.73 by telling how God had healed him, 00:17:11.76\00:17:14.33 and that God is not limited by a doctor's prognosis 00:17:14.36\00:17:17.70 and to have faith in God's promises. 00:17:17.73\00:17:20.74 And his letter meant the world and I hope to meet him someday. 00:17:20.77\00:17:26.47 After one week in the neurology department, 00:17:26.51\00:17:28.78 I was scheduled to go to rehabilitation. 00:17:28.81\00:17:32.81 And at the neurology department at the Mayo Clinic, 00:17:32.85\00:17:35.75 there's a group of doctors that are caring for you, 00:17:35.78\00:17:38.59 and they would come together to discuss my case and with me. 00:17:38.62\00:17:42.96 And on my final day, in neurology, 00:17:42.99\00:17:45.96 the group of doctors came to my bedside, 00:17:45.99\00:17:48.43 and after completing their work, 00:17:48.46\00:17:49.96 they said goodbye and wished me well 00:17:50.00\00:17:51.70 in the rehabilitation. 00:17:51.73\00:17:53.74 And after they left, 00:17:53.77\00:17:55.10 one doctor came back into my room and she said, 00:17:55.14\00:17:59.01 "We know that you have lots of people praying for you. 00:17:59.04\00:18:02.04 And we want you to know 00:18:02.08\00:18:03.41 that we have never seen someone recover 00:18:03.45\00:18:05.08 as quickly as you have. 00:18:05.11\00:18:06.85 And we doubt we'll ever see it again. 00:18:06.88\00:18:09.22 We believe this is a miracle. 00:18:09.25\00:18:11.12 And from our opinion, 00:18:11.15\00:18:12.49 your prayers have been answered. 00:18:12.52\00:18:14.02 We know you don't get 00:18:14.06\00:18:15.39 to see things like this like we do. 00:18:15.42\00:18:17.13 And so we feel this is pretty amazing. 00:18:17.16\00:18:19.59 And we feel that you will have a very good recovery. 00:18:19.63\00:18:22.70 We won't be working with you now. 00:18:22.73\00:18:24.20 And so I just wanted to tell you this." 00:18:24.23\00:18:27.04 That meant the world to me 00:18:27.07\00:18:28.50 because at this time, I was still in a wheelchair 00:18:28.54\00:18:30.77 and I couldn't even eat with my right hand. 00:18:30.81\00:18:33.31 And I was only aware of how much I wanted to recover 00:18:33.34\00:18:37.15 and here the doctor had seen a miracle already 00:18:37.18\00:18:39.68 and I was unaware of it. 00:18:39.71\00:18:42.28 I was so encouraged. 00:18:42.32\00:18:44.62 After one week in rehabilitation 00:18:44.65\00:18:47.09 at the Mayo Clinic, 00:18:47.12\00:18:48.46 I returned to Canada and returned, 00:18:48.49\00:18:50.33 I mean, I went back 00:18:50.36\00:18:51.69 to the physical and occupational 00:18:51.73\00:18:53.83 and speech therapies and massage. 00:18:53.86\00:18:57.03 Unfortunately for me, my brain was affected 00:18:57.07\00:18:59.83 not where you forget people at least. 00:18:59.87\00:19:02.54 And as I said before, 00:19:02.57\00:19:03.97 I was having trouble with the math sheets. 00:19:04.01\00:19:05.64 And so I had to do grade one math sheets 00:19:05.67\00:19:08.01 and learn to read out loud again. 00:19:08.04\00:19:11.25 But I have continued to improve steadily. 00:19:11.28\00:19:14.18 And I'm still seeing improvements. 00:19:14.22\00:19:16.35 And I was able to master the math 00:19:16.38\00:19:18.42 and continue working as a church treasurer 00:19:18.45\00:19:20.26 for the church. 00:19:20.29\00:19:21.62 Now that's pretty scary, isn't it? 00:19:21.66\00:19:22.99 A very special highlight for me that summer 00:19:26.73\00:19:29.06 was being able to attend the ASI National Convention. 00:19:29.10\00:19:32.67 And it was only after a month after my stroke. 00:19:32.70\00:19:35.60 And although I had a cane and a wheelchair, 00:19:35.64\00:19:38.27 three weeks earlier, 00:19:38.31\00:19:39.64 such a trip was a total impossibility. 00:19:39.67\00:19:42.64 And the prayer and friendships that I've had 00:19:42.68\00:19:44.65 with so many of you ASI people, 00:19:44.68\00:19:47.12 has continued to be 00:19:47.15\00:19:48.48 a wonderful encouragement to me. 00:19:48.52\00:19:51.42 I've always been committed to serving the Lord, 00:19:51.45\00:19:54.56 but my heart was overflowing with gratitude to God 00:19:54.59\00:19:57.56 for life and for His care for me. 00:19:57.59\00:20:00.20 And I realized as never before, 00:20:00.23\00:20:02.60 that all I am and all I do is His, 00:20:02.63\00:20:05.27 and I'm willing to do whatever He asks 00:20:05.30\00:20:07.60 because of what He has done for me. 00:20:07.64\00:20:09.94 And every morning when I wake up, I think, 00:20:09.97\00:20:11.74 "Wow, He's given me another day." 00:20:11.77\00:20:14.28 And life is never really viewed ever the same again. 00:20:14.31\00:20:18.98 My right side is still not what it used to be yet. 00:20:19.01\00:20:22.85 And as for me, this is what I call a bookmark 00:20:22.88\00:20:25.19 to remind me every day what God's done for me 00:20:25.22\00:20:27.66 and not to take it for granted. 00:20:27.69\00:20:30.36 And I don't know why I had a stroke. 00:20:30.39\00:20:32.53 And sometimes I'm afraid that I may have another one, 00:20:32.56\00:20:34.86 I mean, to be honest, 00:20:34.90\00:20:37.00 but every day I hear of pain and heartache 00:20:37.03\00:20:40.70 that somebody is going through. 00:20:40.74\00:20:43.27 And if by some stroke of luck you haven't had any, 00:20:43.30\00:20:46.31 yours is coming because that's just life 00:20:46.34\00:20:47.94 in this whole world. 00:20:47.98\00:20:49.51 That is our common denominator as people on this world. 00:20:49.54\00:20:54.45 Some people think that Christianity is protection 00:20:54.48\00:20:57.09 from hard times, 00:20:57.12\00:20:58.82 but hard times and difficulties are designed 00:20:58.85\00:21:00.99 and intended by God for two purposes, 00:21:01.02\00:21:04.39 to develop our faith, and to display our faith. 00:21:04.43\00:21:08.16 When I was in rehabilitation, 00:21:08.20\00:21:09.73 my husband brought to me my attention to the verse 00:21:09.76\00:21:13.80 in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18. 00:21:13.84\00:21:18.37 It's a great verse and it says, 00:21:18.41\00:21:20.74 "Therefore we do not lose heart. 00:21:20.78\00:21:23.55 Though outwardly we are wasting away, 00:21:23.58\00:21:26.51 yet inwardly we're being renewed day by day. 00:21:26.55\00:21:30.05 For our light and momentary troubles 00:21:30.09\00:21:32.09 are achieving for us an eternal glory 00:21:32.12\00:21:34.19 that far outweighs them all. 00:21:34.22\00:21:36.62 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, 00:21:36.66\00:21:39.23 but what is unseen. 00:21:39.26\00:21:40.93 For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 00:21:40.96\00:21:46.84 And in the book Ministry of Healing, it says that, 00:21:46.87\00:21:48.97 "All experiences and circumstances 00:21:49.00\00:21:51.57 are God's workmen whereby good is brought to us." 00:21:51.61\00:21:55.41 It's hard to believe sometimes, 00:21:55.44\00:21:57.31 but tough times get our attention 00:21:57.35\00:21:59.65 and our focus like nothing else can. 00:21:59.68\00:22:03.15 And that's what's really important. 00:22:03.18\00:22:05.32 God's more interested in inward qualities 00:22:05.35\00:22:07.96 than an outward circumstances. 00:22:07.99\00:22:10.69 And in addition to what hard times 00:22:10.73\00:22:12.49 can do for us, often we forget like Job 00:22:12.53\00:22:16.00 that we are on the stage of the universe. 00:22:16.03\00:22:18.97 And God is looking for people that will trust them 00:22:19.00\00:22:21.90 even when times are hard and unexplainable. 00:22:21.94\00:22:26.44 The morning devotional book, My Life Today says, 00:22:26.47\00:22:29.84 "Life is not all made up with pleasant pastures 00:22:29.88\00:22:32.65 and cooling streams. 00:22:32.68\00:22:34.32 Trial and disappointment overtake us, privation comes, 00:22:34.35\00:22:38.69 and we are brought into trying places. 00:22:38.72\00:22:41.69 Conscience-stricken, we reason 00:22:41.72\00:22:43.46 that we must have walked far from God, 00:22:43.49\00:22:46.09 and that if we had walked with Him, 00:22:46.13\00:22:47.90 we would not have suffered so. 00:22:47.93\00:22:50.80 God does not always bring us to pleasant places. 00:22:50.83\00:22:53.00 He permits trial and disappointment to come 00:22:53.03\00:22:56.00 that we may realize our helplessness, 00:22:56.04\00:22:58.47 and learn to call upon Him for aid." 00:22:58.51\00:23:01.91 And faith can be distinguished best 00:23:01.94\00:23:04.28 when things are difficult. 00:23:04.31\00:23:06.31 When our actions are consistent with our faith, 00:23:06.35\00:23:09.18 even when we experience loss and pain, 00:23:09.22\00:23:12.15 God can use us as an exhibit of true Christianity. 00:23:12.19\00:23:16.62 God allows hard times so that our faith 00:23:16.66\00:23:18.99 can be recognized by the world and by the universe. 00:23:19.03\00:23:22.66 So when we experience a trial, when you just think of it 00:23:22.70\00:23:25.33 as God's vote of confidence in us. 00:23:25.37\00:23:28.54 He's trying to use us to show the power of faith. 00:23:28.57\00:23:32.91 Ellen White says it this way, 00:23:32.94\00:23:34.88 "God leads His children by a way they know not. 00:23:34.91\00:23:38.45 He permits trials to assail His people, 00:23:38.48\00:23:41.62 that by their constancy and obedience 00:23:41.65\00:23:43.99 they themselves may be spiritually enriched, 00:23:44.02\00:23:46.86 and that their example may be a source of strength to others. 00:23:46.89\00:23:51.03 We are to show to the heavenly universe 00:23:51.06\00:23:53.26 and to the world that we are willing 00:23:53.29\00:23:55.20 to make any sacrifice for Christ." 00:23:55.23\00:23:59.27 It's been easy for me in the past to assume 00:23:59.30\00:24:02.67 that serving God protects you from crises like this. 00:24:02.70\00:24:06.37 But one of my favorite chapters is Psalms 121:7, it says, 00:24:06.41\00:24:12.91 "The Lord will keep you from all harm." 00:24:12.95\00:24:15.88 But I've learned that harm and God... 00:24:15.92\00:24:17.72 My definition and God's are two different things. 00:24:17.75\00:24:21.49 The book the Mount of Blessing says, 00:24:21.52\00:24:24.33 "That which you look upon as disaster 00:24:24.36\00:24:26.90 is the door to highest benefit." 00:24:26.93\00:24:30.03 When something disastrous happens to us 00:24:30.07\00:24:32.20 or to someone we know, it's usually so hard 00:24:32.23\00:24:35.24 to see where there can possibly be any good. 00:24:35.27\00:24:38.27 And we find it difficult to believe 00:24:38.31\00:24:39.81 that we have a heavenly father who's caring for us, 00:24:39.84\00:24:43.04 but about the Christianity is promised 00:24:43.08\00:24:45.45 that nothing can touch them 00:24:45.48\00:24:47.02 except by the Lord's permission. 00:24:47.05\00:24:49.15 And that all things are permitted 00:24:49.18\00:24:50.69 to work together for good to them that love God. 00:24:50.72\00:24:54.36 That means that God wade the stroke 00:24:54.39\00:24:57.13 before it came to me. 00:24:57.16\00:24:59.09 He meant for it to bring good to me, 00:24:59.13\00:25:01.60 and faith in God's love and overruling provenance 00:25:01.63\00:25:04.87 makes difficulties easier. 00:25:04.90\00:25:08.47 Some of you may be in the middle 00:25:08.50\00:25:09.90 of something very painful right now. 00:25:09.94\00:25:13.48 But every time that we have an experience 00:25:13.51\00:25:15.41 where we can recognize God's care for us, 00:25:15.44\00:25:19.11 individually, it gives us more faith. 00:25:19.15\00:25:23.65 And someday we will know the complete story. 00:25:23.69\00:25:27.92 We need to encourage each other 00:25:27.96\00:25:30.19 because we have nothing to fear for the future, 00:25:30.23\00:25:32.69 except that we forget 00:25:32.73\00:25:34.06 the way the Lord has led us in the past. 00:25:34.10\00:25:37.23 In Nahum 1:7 it says, 00:25:37.27\00:25:40.04 "The Lord is good, 00:25:40.07\00:25:41.74 a stronghold in times of trouble." 00:25:41.77\00:25:44.01 Good morning. 00:25:53.88\00:25:56.22 I'm Walter Wright, President of the Lake Union. 00:25:56.25\00:25:58.75 And I brought with me some friends today 00:25:58.79\00:26:00.76 that I'd like to introduce to you. 00:26:00.79\00:26:02.99 This is Sandy Miller, and she's President 00:26:03.02\00:26:04.79 of the Lake Union Chapter of ASI. 00:26:04.83\00:26:07.46 This is Fred Miller of Miller Construction. 00:26:07.50\00:26:10.17 You might guess there Ken. 00:26:10.20\00:26:12.43 This is their spouses, of course. 00:26:12.47\00:26:15.07 This is Ken Denslow, 00:26:15.10\00:26:16.44 President of the Illinois Conference. 00:26:16.47\00:26:18.64 And this is Viorel Catarama, 00:26:18.67\00:26:20.41 who is the ASI National Vice President for Evangelism. 00:26:20.44\00:26:25.35 These are good buddies of mine. 00:26:25.38\00:26:27.15 And we've got something to tell you today. 00:26:27.18\00:26:30.22 I get very excited when I hear about a mission trip 00:26:30.25\00:26:33.32 that's going somewhere to build a church or a school. 00:26:33.36\00:26:36.62 But I become ecstatic when it comes home 00:26:36.66\00:26:38.79 to the Lake Union. 00:26:38.83\00:26:40.16 And that's what we wanna talk about 00:26:40.20\00:26:41.53 for the next few moments. 00:26:41.56\00:26:42.90 The Princeton Illinois Project. 00:26:42.93\00:26:46.00 Ken, I can imagine when you heard these people 00:26:46.03\00:26:47.87 were coming in your territory to work on building a church. 00:26:47.90\00:26:52.67 You send some negative messages, right? 00:26:52.71\00:26:54.94 Right. 00:26:54.98\00:26:56.31 No, this church in Princeton, 00:26:56.34\00:26:58.08 they've been meeting in the sanctuary 00:26:58.11\00:27:00.68 that wasn't a third of the size of this platform. 00:27:00.72\00:27:04.72 And they had purchased the building used in 1908 00:27:04.75\00:27:08.29 and moved it to the site that it was at... 00:27:08.32\00:27:10.43 It was just not functioning well for them. 00:27:10.46\00:27:12.69 And yet this little congregation 00:27:12.73\00:27:15.30 was never going to be able on their, 00:27:15.33\00:27:17.33 just on their own to be able to build a new sanctuary. 00:27:17.37\00:27:21.67 I think what I hear you saying is, 00:27:21.70\00:27:23.61 it would have been just as needed, 00:27:23.64\00:27:26.94 and just as unlikely 00:27:26.98\00:27:28.84 that they would have been able to accomplish this project 00:27:28.88\00:27:31.75 as any of those places we go in the mission field. 00:27:31.78\00:27:33.85 Absolutely. 00:27:33.88\00:27:35.22 This is exciting. 00:27:35.25\00:27:36.92 Viorel, you got involved 00:27:36.95\00:27:39.59 with some young people as well in this project. 00:27:39.62\00:27:42.96 Is that right? 00:27:42.99\00:27:44.33 Could you tell us a little bit about it? 00:27:44.36\00:27:45.69 Yes, Elder Wright, we've been blessed last night 00:27:45.73\00:27:48.36 to see this beautiful young people Youth for Jesus 00:27:48.40\00:27:52.37 giving us a report of what they do 00:27:52.40\00:27:54.40 right here in Dallas. 00:27:54.44\00:27:56.87 We have Youth for Jesus at the ASI 00:27:56.91\00:27:59.14 at the national level for the past eight years. 00:27:59.17\00:28:03.38 And I cannot think of another project 00:28:03.41\00:28:05.75 more important to that. 00:28:05.78\00:28:07.42 Probably 'cause I'm biased, 00:28:07.45\00:28:08.78 I have two children in that division. 00:28:08.82\00:28:12.35 So a suggestion has been made 00:28:12.39\00:28:14.52 that we might implement the Youth for Jesus 00:28:14.56\00:28:17.69 at every chapter. 00:28:17.73\00:28:19.49 So Lake Union Chapter 00:28:19.53\00:28:21.73 has been the first one to start this. 00:28:21.76\00:28:24.77 So we took this opportunity to build a church, 00:28:24.80\00:28:29.00 and to have an evangelist series in Princeton, 00:28:29.04\00:28:31.87 held on by young people. 00:28:31.91\00:28:34.28 So you're telling me, 00:28:34.31\00:28:35.64 this was not just about a building? 00:28:35.68\00:28:37.48 This was about also building souls 00:28:37.51\00:28:40.35 for the kingdom of heaven? 00:28:40.38\00:28:42.28 What good would be to have a building 00:28:42.32\00:28:43.95 without people to fill them? 00:28:43.99\00:28:45.55 Amen. 00:28:45.59\00:28:47.42 You know, I think that anyone that has ever done evangelism 00:28:47.46\00:28:50.79 recognizes that it is absolutely critical, 00:28:50.83\00:28:54.30 essential that we have good Bible workers 00:28:54.33\00:28:57.73 and you did a little search, 00:28:57.77\00:28:59.90 and how many Bible workers did you come up with 00:28:59.93\00:29:02.40 for the Princeton Project? 00:29:02.44\00:29:03.97 Well, we intended to have four Bible workers, 00:29:04.01\00:29:06.61 but we ended up only with one Bible worker, 00:29:06.64\00:29:09.71 a young lady full of energy. 00:29:09.74\00:29:13.15 I've seen this young lady, she's unbelievable. 00:29:13.18\00:29:15.82 And also, you might say, in this day in time, 00:29:15.85\00:29:19.89 a rather unusual situation. 00:29:19.92\00:29:23.22 If we were doing the choosing, 00:29:23.26\00:29:25.69 we may not have picked Katrina Lubinski. 00:29:25.73\00:29:29.40 But what an awesome young woman she turned out to be for God. 00:29:29.43\00:29:33.40 He made her something special in this area. 00:29:33.44\00:29:36.71 Absolutely. 00:29:36.74\00:29:38.07 I think people may have been just taken aback. 00:29:38.11\00:29:39.87 Now I got to tell you, you could never guess 00:29:39.91\00:29:43.11 from the name Katrina Lubinski that she's African-American. 00:29:43.14\00:29:48.32 And this little lady, this little young woman, 00:29:48.35\00:29:51.85 so slight of built, 00:29:51.89\00:29:53.39 went into the homes in this territory 00:29:53.42\00:29:57.66 and was received with great joy. 00:29:57.69\00:30:02.80 Tell me about that one instance when she showed up 00:30:02.83\00:30:04.83 and it looked like they were having a big party? 00:30:04.87\00:30:07.00 I was visiting with Katrina regularly. 00:30:07.04\00:30:09.24 So she was in my car driving and praying 00:30:09.27\00:30:12.24 into the streets for the people of Princeton. 00:30:12.27\00:30:14.91 And she told me, "Mr. Catarama, do you see that building? 00:30:14.94\00:30:17.71 I had a Bible study there. 00:30:17.75\00:30:19.71 And at the appointed time, I just ring the doorbell, 00:30:19.75\00:30:23.59 the people of the house opened the door, 00:30:23.62\00:30:26.09 and the house was full of people." 00:30:26.12\00:30:29.26 And she said, "Oh, excuse me, do you have a party? 00:30:29.29\00:30:32.19 I might be back tomorrow, perhaps next week." 00:30:32.23\00:30:35.06 And they said, "No, no, no, we have a Bible study." 00:30:35.10\00:30:38.57 Why so many people here? 00:30:38.60\00:30:39.97 They said, "Well, it was so good 00:30:40.00\00:30:41.34 that I invited all my friends or 10 families were there 00:30:41.37\00:30:44.77 for a Bible study invited by them." 00:30:44.81\00:30:47.61 Amen. 00:30:47.64\00:30:49.28 I got to say, hallelujah to that. 00:30:49.31\00:30:53.58 Sandy, I came out there and to enjoy 00:30:53.62\00:30:57.29 this Princeton Project under construction. 00:30:57.32\00:31:00.99 And it was something to see. 00:31:01.02\00:31:03.22 Also there were a lot of volunteers, of course, 00:31:03.26\00:31:06.19 and we wanna talk a little bit about them. 00:31:06.23\00:31:08.40 But there was a portable kitchen 00:31:08.43\00:31:09.76 out there in the tent, 00:31:09.80\00:31:11.93 and I ate franks and beans. 00:31:11.97\00:31:13.90 And they were good. 00:31:13.94\00:31:15.50 But tell me something, Sandy, 00:31:15.54\00:31:17.61 something else happened in that kitchen beside cooking. 00:31:17.64\00:31:21.98 Could you talk about the day 00:31:22.01\00:31:23.35 we were gonna nail up the plywood on the roof? 00:31:23.38\00:31:26.55 Yes, it was. 00:31:26.58\00:31:28.98 We had as Elder Wright said, we had this make, 00:31:29.02\00:31:31.92 this kitchen which was really awesome 00:31:31.95\00:31:33.39 because we had two refrigerators 00:31:33.42\00:31:34.76 and two stoves and we had it all set up 00:31:34.79\00:31:36.12 and it was really nice. 00:31:36.16\00:31:37.49 We had a lot of help. 00:31:37.53\00:31:38.86 And we were feeding, you know, 00:31:38.89\00:31:40.36 sometimes as much as 80 people at a meal. 00:31:40.40\00:31:43.37 And this one time when we were cooking, 00:31:43.40\00:31:48.44 the wind, it was just so strong. 00:31:48.47\00:31:50.84 It was just very, very strong. 00:31:50.87\00:31:52.74 And as we looked over on the building site, 00:31:52.77\00:31:55.54 we've seen these men on the roof 00:31:55.58\00:31:56.91 that were just struggling with the plywood, 00:31:56.95\00:31:58.95 trying to hold the plywood with the wind. 00:31:58.98\00:32:01.55 And so we decided that we were going to pray, 00:32:01.58\00:32:03.85 we were gonna form a circle and pray, 00:32:03.89\00:32:05.29 so we did. 00:32:05.32\00:32:06.65 We did that. 00:32:06.69\00:32:08.22 And unbelievable, within 10 minutes, 00:32:08.26\00:32:11.79 the wind just calm down, just down to nothing. 00:32:11.83\00:32:15.86 It was just amazing 00:32:15.90\00:32:17.23 to actually see God answer a prayer so quickly 00:32:17.27\00:32:22.74 that the wind was so strong 00:32:22.77\00:32:24.57 and in 10 minutes, there was no wind at all. 00:32:24.61\00:32:26.78 I can imagine there was a lot more interest 00:32:26.81\00:32:28.61 in that kitchen after that for things besides cooking? 00:32:28.64\00:32:30.15 Yes, there was. 00:32:30.18\00:32:31.51 It really impressed a lot of the ladies there 00:32:31.55\00:32:33.45 that God really does answered prayer. 00:32:33.48\00:32:36.18 And there had been just a lady there 00:32:36.22\00:32:39.95 a couple that had been helping on the church, 00:32:39.99\00:32:43.06 and they had just become members 00:32:43.09\00:32:45.96 of the church just two months before that. 00:32:45.99\00:32:48.86 So this really impressed this lady and said, 00:32:48.90\00:32:50.87 "I had no idea that God could perform 00:32:50.90\00:32:53.30 this kind of miracle." 00:32:53.34\00:32:54.90 I love it. 00:32:54.94\00:32:56.27 Anytime you can turn the cooks into the prayer warriors, 00:32:56.30\00:32:58.44 that's got to be a good thing. 00:32:58.47\00:33:00.34 Everybody taking part, for the day I was out there, 00:33:00.38\00:33:02.88 you were up on the roof. 00:33:02.91\00:33:04.71 And you were building this... 00:33:04.75\00:33:06.45 Oh, what do you call it? 00:33:06.48\00:33:07.82 I guess it's the drive-through where you... 00:33:07.85\00:33:09.82 Now I don't mean a drive-through like McDonald's, 00:33:09.85\00:33:11.79 I mean, a drive-through 00:33:11.82\00:33:13.72 where you can drop off your passengers 00:33:13.76\00:33:15.66 if it's bad weather. 00:33:15.69\00:33:17.03 Yeah, it's a portico on front of the church. 00:33:17.06\00:33:18.59 Portico?
