the antichrist we come to
night to the presentation of

when Christianity
follows the beast.

In Revelation
13:1-3, you recall,

the John sees a beast
coming up out of the sea
00:05:51.46\00:05:54.51
and it says then that this beast
00:05:54.54\00:05:56.77
which I show was like a leopard
00:05:56.80\00:05:59.08
and had his feet
like the feet of a bear
00:05:59.11\00:06:01.91
and his mouth as
a mouth of a lion

and the dragon
gave him his power

and seat and great authority.

And so we are ushered
into the leopard like beast.

And the Bible says,
that this particular beast

would receive or seek worship.

Notice it says,

"And all that dwell upon
the earth shall worship him,

whose names are not written
00:06:23.05\00:06:25.33
in the book of
life of the Lamb slain

from the
foundation of the world."

So the antichrist power
will be worshiped by those

whose names are not
written in the book of life.

Obviously, then friends,
you and I want to make sure,

in the last book of life.

In fact, the scripture says,

power where the Bible says,

then that the word
would worship the beast

and of course Christ.

"that we ought
to look to Jesus."

To whom?

To Jesus as the author
and finisher of our faith.

In other words, as
the beginner of our faith

and as the one who will finish

Who is this Jesus?

to the scriptures

According to the Book
of John Chapter 1 as well,

that were told that, "In
the beginning was the word,

God, and the word was God."

in the beginning

And verse 3 says, "All
things were made by him,

and without him there was

So according to verse 14,

we know that word
was of course Christ.

Because it's says,
the word became flesh

And that's an interesting word

Obviously then,
Christ is the one

who created all that you and I
know the concerning this earth.

The scripture then says that
as there is a power contending

Christ, seeking
to you serve Christ

and that's what the word,

antichrist means,
in the place of Christ.

Then you have to understand
that the Bible is telling us

that you cannot
serve two masters.

You have to
serve one or the other.

In fact, what Paul
says, concerning this,

in Roman 6:1 it
says, "Know ye not, that

to whom ye yield
yourselves servants to obey,

his servants ye
are to whom ye obey

and whether of sin unto death,

or of obedience
unto righteousness?"

The choice is
yours, the choice is mine.

But whichever
choice we exercise,

if we exercise on the
side of Christ, we find life.

If we exercise on the
side of the antichrist,

we find no hope
because there is only one

who could save

and that is Christ.

So this scripture reveals then,
in the Book of Thessalonians,

Paul warning
concerning this power.

It says, "Let no man
deceive you by any means

for that day shall
not come," speaking about

the coming of
Christ will not come,

"except there be
falling away first,

and that man of sin be revealed,

the son of perdition."

Now there are lot of
people who are trying to come up

with some ideas
to the antichrist
00:10:17.72\00:10:20.21
who is some Jew that appears
on planet earth et cetera.

But I want you
to understand this

that according
to Paul's writings
00:10:26.24\00:10:28.86
and writings of the scriptures
the antichrist, the word anti

as I said before as
one who takes his place

who is plant some.

Well, think about this the only
another place in the scriptures

where we find the
word son of perdition

is in the gospels.

And the only one
called the son of perdition

in the gospels is Judas.

Now, think of this then.

There people who are thinking
that the antichrist will be

something someone
outside of Christendom.

But please remember if he
was called the son of perdition

and the Bible says
the son of perdition
00:11:06.38\00:11:08.53
then it means
that the perpetrate
00:11:08.56\00:11:10.65
or the one who seeks to
serve the place of Christ
00:11:10.68\00:11:13.11
must come from
within Christianity
00:11:13.14\00:11:15.63
just as Judas
the son of perdition
00:11:15.66\00:11:17.93
who is the friend
of Christ betrayed Him.
00:11:17.96\00:11:21.53
So, we can understand then
that this antichrist would be

from with in Christianity
and the betrayed Christianity.

And that's
interesting thought isn't it.

that this power would seek to
change the times and the laws.

Thessalonians 2:3, 4 says

that is power
"opposeth and exalteth himself

called God, or that" is what?

"That is
worshipped, so that he as God

Here you see then that
it must be a religious power

who seeks to displace Christ
and in the place of Christ

takes the position of Christ.

So, it is from within and
I've one time heard somebody say

because somebody from within

Well, the Bible then reveals

that when America rises up

the particular chapter

rises up the Bible says then

that America would
make an image to the beast.

Now, since it will
make an image to the beast,

the question is
how isn't image made?

The image
usually is a reflection

of something that already is.

speaks about America rising up

that as the antichrist

change the laws of God

and as he has persecuted

God to the centuries

then that leads
us to understand that

if America has an
image then of course it means

that it will accomplish
or try to do the same things

as the beast did.

in Thessalonians it says,

historically speaking that

speaking we see in the Bible

the position of God.

is it that a nation

the consciences of the people

"The result was the papacy,

a church that controlled
the power of the State,

In order for the United States
to form an image of the beast,

must so control the civil power

a serpent like tongue
that came out of the president.

that we respect the president

ought to pray for our leaders.

should take care of their wives
