a couple of them,

at one of them today,

Well, the man took the note,
he was still a little groggy,

and irritated that his
good sleep had been broken.

out as quickly as possible.

that not only was he awoken,

Well, he decided,
I'll go on the counter

and go through the prescriptions

that I have filled
and file them away.

Well, as he was doing that

he came to the last one
that he had just filled,

and as he looked at it,
and his eyes focused on it,

he immediately realized that
he had made a great mistake.

He had placed in the
bottle the wrong medicine.

He shuddered to think
what would happen to that

unsuspecting mother
as she took the medicine.

And he did not know what to do.

Didn't know where
the boy came from,

and so that man went to that cot

and this time he knelt
down and began to plea with God

to please forgive
him for his indolence

and that God
could some how spare

that mother from imminent death

as she took that
particular medicine.

Well, as he was
praying, agonizing with God,

there was
another rap at the door,

well, he got up,
went to the door,

and to his great
surprise, it was the little boy.

The little boy
had tears in his eyes,

and he said, Mister, I
was running down the street

and I fell and the bottle broke.

Would you mind refilling
that prescription for mama?

Oh, I tell you, it was one
greatly relieved pharmacist.

He this time
went to the counter,

and made sure that he
placed the right medicine

in the bottle, sent off the boy.

And then went down
and knelt and prayed

and thanked the good Lord

for sending an angel
to trip that little boy,

so that mother could be spared.

And his own career as well.

Ah, friends,
listen, isn't it true

and it's important to
get the right medicine.

The Bible warns us
about the wrong medicine.

And there's
something far more desperately
00:09:57.41\00:10:01.79
dangerous to take than
just physical medicine,
00:10:01.82\00:10:06.69
spiritual medicine, the
wrong spiritual medicine

can have eternal consequences.

Notice what God says

in the Book of
Revelation 14:7-10.

Many of you may
know these references

as we are turning to
it, Revelation 14:7-10.

Notice it says,
that God is warning,

"Saying with a loud voice."
00:10:37.30\00:10:38.94
What kind of
voice? A loud voice.
00:10:38.97\00:10:40.75
"Fear God, and
give glory to him,
00:10:40.78\00:10:42.26
for the hour of
his judgment has come
00:10:42.29\00:10:44.86
and worship him
that made heaven,
00:10:44.89\00:10:47.06
and earth, the sea, and
the fountains of waters."

And it says, "there
followed another angel, saying,
00:10:50.15\00:10:52.72
Babylon, Babylon is
fallen, that great city,

because she made all
nations drink of the wine

of the wrath of
her fornication."

And the third
angel followed them,

saying with a loud voice,

"If any man worshipped
the beast in his image,

mark in his forehead,

of the wrath of God,"

Now that sounds
again as I'd mentioned

demanding
something but, no, friends,

God here is anxiously concerned

that his
children on planet earth

do not understand that
there is a wrong medicine,

spiritual
medicine being offered.
00:11:42.50\00:11:44.45
And the
consequences bring eternal,
00:11:44.48\00:11:47.81
fatal for eternity,
pardon me, to those who take it.
00:11:47.84\00:11:53.06
What does it says that
the Bible speaking to them?

Well, it's warning
against the beast's power.
00:11:57.72\00:12:01.71
And what is the beast?
00:12:01.74\00:12:03.52
Well, people have different
ideas of what the beast is?
00:12:03.55\00:12:05.83
I think you probably
have heard people come up

with I remember for
example several years ago
00:12:08.64\00:12:11.97
when President Ronald
Reagan was a president,
00:12:12.00\00:12:14.83
they thought he was the beast.
00:12:14.86\00:12:16.42
And I remember for example
00:12:16.45\00:12:18.82
there was a big, big computer
that was called a beast.
00:12:18.85\00:12:22.34
There are many, many, many ideas
00:12:22.37\00:12:24.46
about the beast
and also about 666.
00:12:24.49\00:12:27.19
But I think it's
important for us to see
00:12:27.22\00:12:29.10
what the Bible says about this
00:12:29.13\00:12:31.47
but I am wanted to understand
00:12:31.50\00:12:33.08
that the main issue here is that
00:12:33.11\00:12:35.68
God has sent a
message to planet earth
00:12:35.71\00:12:40.13
that will save, a
gospel that saves.
00:12:40.16\00:12:43.04
And if you
remember what it says,

in the Book of Galatians 1:6-9,
00:12:44.97\00:12:48.37
notice Paul writing
and warning the Christians,
00:12:48.40\00:12:51.67
"I marvel that you are
so soon removed from him
00:12:51.70\00:12:54.72
that called you into the grace
of Christ unto another gospel."
00:12:54.75\00:12:58.24
Notice, what's their concern?
That there was another gospel.
00:12:58.27\00:13:02.75
Then it says,
"Which is not another,
00:13:02.78\00:13:04.51
but there be
some that trouble you,
00:13:04.54\00:13:06.80
and would pervert
the gospel of Christ."
00:13:06.83\00:13:10.35
Then he continues to write,

"But though we, or
an angel from heaven,
00:13:11.85\00:13:15.08
preach any other
gospel unto you than that
00:13:15.11\00:13:17.80
which we have preached unto you,

let him be accursed."

And Paul doesn't stop
there, he simply says,

"And as we said before,
we again so say-- again,

if any man preach
any other gospel unto you

This is a strongest denunciation

the Bible writers can

Obviously, there is
a controversy going on

and it is in the religious arena

because we see now
that one the man's worship,

the other one is
saying you need to watch out

for that medicine that
seems to be the right one,

but it will bring
eternal consequences.

In fact, the scripture says,

"that there is a
power that opposed

and exalts of itself or himself

above all that is called
God, or that is worshipped,

so that he as God
sitteth in the temple of God,

showing himself that he is God."

A counterfeit, if you
please, of gospel of Christ's.

Who is the beast
then? What is the beast?

that affect you and me

Let's study what the Bible says

first in the past and
then we go into the future.

First of all, we
turn to Revelation 13:1-8.

Revelation 13, if you

Revelation 13
begins with a description

of the end of Christ
and here is what it says,

"And I stood upon
the sand of the sea,
00:15:06.98\00:15:08.59
and saw a beast
rise up out of the sea,
00:15:08.62\00:15:12.34
having seven
heads and ten horns,
00:15:12.37\00:15:14.12
and upon his horns ten crowns,
00:15:14.15\00:15:15.90
and upon his heads
the names of blasphemy.
00:15:15.93\00:15:18.44
And the beast which I
saw was like unto a leopard,

and his feet were
as the feet of a bear,

the mouth of a lion

such strong denunciations

the beast of them--

in the forehead or on the hand.

Don't you think then the God
wants you to know what it is?

There are people who say, well,
you cannot know what it is?

The book is a closed
book but, my friends,

it is clear that if God warns,

He only warns
because He wants you to know

what to evade, what to
escape and what to not accept.

And so He will not
do give us information

without helping us to understand

what are they or
so, what is the base,

how can we determine what it is.

And how can we come to the place

where we then know
how it will affect us.

First of all,
this particular beast
00:17:22.68\00:17:25.25
that rises out of the
sea, the scripture says

looks like a leopard
where the mouth of a lion
00:17:28.78\00:17:33.32
and it has seven
heads and ten crowns
00:17:33.35\00:17:36.35
and the feet are
the feet of a bear.
00:17:36.38\00:17:40.31
Now how many of
you have been to a zoo,
00:17:40.34\00:17:42.70
who even seen an
animal like this.
00:17:42.73\00:17:45.00
Well, no one has ever
seen an animal like this.
00:17:45.03\00:17:47.60
The only animal
that maybe something
00:17:47.63\00:17:50.92
that appears to be
parts of other animals
00:17:50.95\00:17:53.44
it's called a Platypus
00:17:53.47\00:17:55.40
but otherwise no one
has ever seen a leopard

like this with seven heads
00:17:58.34\00:17:59.52
and ten horns
and feet like a bear.

The interesting thing is
that it is in Revelation 13
00:18:02.33\00:18:06.24
and this verse
that you will find
00:18:06.27\00:18:08.88
it mentioning
this particular animal.

Where else in the Bible

then can we find
information that helps us

to describe or to find
out who this beast power is?

We must turn then
to the Book of Daniel.

look at Daniel chapter 7.

And beginning in
Daniel chapter 7,

we start there with
that great prophet Daniel,

who loved God, who
prayed for understanding

and God sent
understanding to him.

The Book of Daniel and
the Book of Revelation,

you find then
that they are two books

that are apocalyptic in nature.

There are many,
many prophetic books

such are the major
prophets like Isaiah,

Jeremiah, Ezekiel,
these are classical prophecies

but there are two books
that are apocalyptic in nature

and these books are
Daniel and Revelation,

sister books as you
please, if you please.
00:18:55.86\00:18:58.25
One is in the Old Testament,
one is in the New Testament.

One sheds light on the other
and one borrows from the other.

So let's find out then
what the scripture says?

Look at Daniel 7:1,
00:19:08.90\00:19:10.76
"In the first year of
Belshazzar, king of Babylon,
00:19:10.79\00:19:13.43
Daniel had a dream and visions
of his head upon his bed,
00:19:13.46\00:19:17.58
then he wrote the dream,
00:19:17.61\00:19:19.04
and told the
sum of the matters."
00:19:19.07\00:19:21.31
So here is what
Daniel saw, Dan speak--
00:19:21.34\00:19:24.06
and Daniel said, I
saw in my vision by night,
00:19:24.09\00:19:28.50
and, behold, the four winds
00:19:28.53\00:19:29.76
of the heaven
strove upon the earth,"
00:19:29.79\00:19:31.73
pardon me, "upon the sea.
00:19:31.76\00:19:33.05
And four great
beasts came up from the sea,

diverse one from another."

So Daniel saw four
beasts come up out of the sea.

Four beasts that
come up out of the sea.
00:19:44.03\00:19:47.15
Then it says,
"That the first one
00:19:47.18\00:19:51.33
has wings of a
lion," notice verse four.
00:19:51.36\00:19:55.11
It says then, "The
first was like a lion,
00:19:55.14\00:19:58.31
and had wings, eagle wings
00:19:58.34\00:19:59.90
I beheld till the
wings thereof were plucked up
00:19:59.93\00:20:03.15
and it was lifted
up from the earth,
00:20:03.18\00:20:05.05
and made stand
upon the feet as a man,
00:20:05.08\00:20:07.18
and a man's
heart was given to it."

So the first beast
says a lion with what?

With wings.

Then it says,

that the second beast is a bear.

Notice verse 5, "And
behold another beast,

a second, like unto a bear,"

and this
particular beast then it says,

"it raised up
itself on one side,

and it had three
ribs in his mouth

between his teeth
and they said thus to it,

'arise, devour much flesh.'"

So we find then that
the second beast is a bear.

Then there's a
third beast that follows

and this third
beast is in verse 6.

Notice it says,
"After this I beheld,

and lo another, like a leopard,

which had upon the back
of it four wings of a fowl,
00:20:48.85\00:20:54.20
the beast had also four heads
and dominion was given to it."

Notice it says,
dominion was given to it.

And finally then we read
the other beast and it says,

history, we have forgotten a lot

and we do not know what

because we're detached from all
the history that's taken place

but according to evidence
and according to history

we can see then that
these beasts actually

do represent the Babylonian,
the Medes and the Persians,

the Greeks and

But listen, that last
beast, the Roman Empire

had a little horn that
would come up out of it,

that that the Roman Empire

when it came down to the feet,

So the Roman Empire would

attention of the prophet

language about another entity.

This particular
entity is a woman,

representing a
church in Bible prophecy,

who is attacked by the
enemy in this particular church
