troubled, she began to cry.

the time came when I
finally got pregnant.

that we're gonna have a child.

and finally he said to
her "It's either it or me."

couldn't bare the thought.

And she fearing

that he would follow
through with his threat

decided that she
will have an abortion.

She went through it.

But she said,

that she has
suffered ever since.

That she told me,

"I have never heard
any peace since then.

I wonder if God will
ever forgive me," she said.

And I said to her "my
sister, God has a promise."

You all know it, don't
you? If we confess our, what?

Our sins, He is
faithful and what else and just.

That was a new thought
for her, a new revelation.

Sixty nine years, that
woman carried her guilt.

59-years she carried her guilt

and finally at last
she accepted the promise.

And we knelt down
together and with tears

she expressed
thanksgiving to that God

who is able to
abundantly pardon.

How do you get rid of guilt
and that's the subject tonight.

holy word about the subject.

So many, so many all
over the world are suffering

because of this
terrible thing called guilt.

grace as we go through the word

that those who are
carrying great burdens

The problem with guilt
is that we as human beings

are always the ones perpetrating

or doing something that's wrong.

In fact the scripture tells
us in the Book of Jeremiah 13:23

"Can the
Ethiopian change his skin."

You know an Ethiopian
has what color of skin?

Black or dark brown.
00:15:32.51\00:15:34.71
"Can an Ethiopian change his
skin or the leopard his" what?
00:15:34.74\00:15:39.11
"His spots.
00:15:39.14\00:15:40.64
Then" it says
"may ye also do good
00:15:40.67\00:15:44.66
at are accustomed to do" what?
00:15:44.69\00:15:46.96
"To do evil."

And so we have the nature
the tendencies to propensities

to do what's wrong.

And when we do what's wrong

there is no question
that we suffer separation

and that's why the Bible says

iniquities have separated

between you and your" what?

"And your God and your
sins have hid his face from you,

that he will not hear you."

In other words
friends, sin separates.

Sin what?

Sin separates and
the scripture says then

that we are with
the propensities to sin

and therefore because
we have those propensities

then we have that
which is called guilt

which is the result of sinning.

Now in the Book of Revelation,

we focus tonight on the
one who is able to remove sins.

But the problem is
this God has a huge problem

and that huge problem is this.

How many of you
have sinned in your life?

Any of you?

How many of you sinned once?
00:16:58.11\00:17:00.72
How many of you have lost count?
00:17:00.75\00:17:03.44
Okay.

Now because it is
part of our nature

God has the problem
of how to destroy sin
00:17:10.15\00:17:17.68
without destroying the sinner.

And since its
already part of our nature

you can understand
God's great problem, right.

Because if He
destroys what will He destroy?

The sinner.

But His desire is not
to destroy the sinner,

His desire is to destroy sin.

And so how does God do
it? What process that He use?

And how can you and I
avail ourselves of the process

which helps us then to get
rid of this thing called sin

so that we do not
suffer then the consequence

result that comes from guilt.

In the Book of Revelation

Jesus is portrayed as
a divine glorified being.

The Bible says that
when John heard the voice

he turned
around and he said that
00:18:10.28\00:18:11.75
he saw someone
with hair like wool
00:18:11.78\00:18:14.92
and cloths with a long garment.
00:18:14.95\00:18:17.13
And then it says that
he in his hand he had stars
00:18:17.16\00:18:21.86
and that he walked in
the midst of candlesticks.
00:18:21.89\00:18:26.27
Now that's an
interesting portrayal of Christ.

In fact, I want to tell you
that this particular picture

that John writes to us
concerning the Revelation

that Christ made of Himself
00:18:41.36\00:18:43.43
is a picture of an
Old Testament priest.
00:18:43.46\00:18:47.83
Picture of what?
Old Testament priest.
00:18:47.86\00:18:52.49
It speaks about
candle, seven candlesticks
00:18:52.52\00:18:54.79
and by the way there
after in the scriptures
00:18:54.82\00:18:57.19
you don't hear anything
more about "seven candlesticks."
00:18:57.22\00:19:02.09
The reason for it is this,
00:19:02.12\00:19:04.31
that in order for us
understand Revelation
00:19:04.34\00:19:06.83
we must then go to the
rest of Bible to find the quotes

that will unveil
or open up for us

these particular symbols
that God has unfolded to us.

And so in order to
understand this candlesticks

and Christ walking in the
midst of candlesticks he says

"then that the candlesticks
represent the seven churches.

And also he says
the stars represent

the seven angels
to the seven churches.

But let's beyond that
and go to the Old Testament

and find out what these
candles really represent

and where does
this scene come from.

In the Old
Testament God had told Moses

that he wanted to
dwell with his people.

He wanted to what?
Dwell with His people.

Now you must understand this

that for God to dwell with us

means that there
can be no sin in us

in order for Him
to dwell with us.

So God desires to
be with His children.

It was the Lord who
spoke to Adam and Eve,

and communicated with him.

It was the Lord that
actually spoke to Adam and Eve

when Adam and Eve fell into sin.

you'll see in the Old Testament
that Jesus appears to Abraham.

He appears in many
different occasions,

sometimes as an
other human being

and sometimes He
appears as an angle.

But the point is this,

God always delights
to be with His children.

I think that you as
parents for example,
