01:00 Hello and welcome again
01:02 to the Thompsonville Seventh-day Adventist Church.
01:05 We are on our third message in a series
01:08 of three that makes sense, doesn't it,
01:11 with a Focus on Revival?
01:13 And today, we will have our final message
01:16 by Pastor John Lomacang.
01:19 He is our senior pastor here
01:21 and a very anointed and gifted Bible teacher.
01:24 So we are looking forward to that.
01:25 Is everyone having a wonderful week of revival?
01:29 Yeah! It has been good.
01:32 And I know that the Lord's
01:33 been doing things in my life as well.
01:35 You know, 1 Corinthians 5:17 says that,
01:39 "When we are in Christ, we are new creations.
01:43 The old has gone and the new has come."
01:46 So far Pastor Lomacang has taken us, telling us...
01:51 He's taken us on a journey,
01:53 telling us the story of God's amazing love.
01:57 And he used Gomer as that illustration.
02:01 And we can know that God loves us
02:03 with an everlasting love.
02:05 And then this morning we had the message
02:09 of the road to Emmaus.
02:11 And how the disciples were walking on the same road
02:14 in the presence of Jesus
02:16 and didn't even recognize His presence.
02:19 But today, His message is going to be Go Forward.
02:23 And, you know,
02:24 I think of what Romans 5:17 says.
02:27 And in Romans 5:17, the Bible says,
02:30 "That those who have received an abundance of grace
02:33 and the gift of righteousness
02:36 will reign in life through Christ Jesus."
02:40 It is time for a Laodicean Church
02:44 to wake up, to recognize.
02:47 Lord, revive us, fill us with Your Holy Spirit
02:52 that we may be prepared for the latter rain.
02:55 You know, if your ground is really dry,
02:58 have you ever noticed what happens
03:00 when a big rainfall comes
03:02 and the ground is totally parched?
03:04 It just sweeps right across it and it doesn't soak in.
03:08 We each individually need to be filled
03:11 with the Holy Spirit, day by day
03:14 reconverting ourselves day by day.
03:17 So that as the latter rain,
03:19 which I believe is beginning to fall.
03:21 Amen?
03:22 We want to be prepared that
03:24 we can take it in and be part of that movement.
03:27 Let's go before the Lord in prayer.
03:30 Heavenly Father, we thank You so much
03:33 for Your everlasting love, Lord.
03:35 We thank You.
03:37 Father, God that You are calling us near
03:40 and as we try to draw near to You, Lord,
03:43 please draw near to us.
03:45 I ask in the name of Jesus
03:47 that this message today that Pastor John Lomacang
03:51 will bring us.
03:53 Oh, Lord, anoint his lips, anoint his mind once again
03:57 with a double portion anointing, Father.
04:00 I ask in the name of Jesus that
04:02 this message will penetrate our hearts, Father,
04:06 and that it will penetrate the hearts of all those
04:08 who are watching by television, or internet,
04:11 or who may be listening.
04:13 Lord, wake us up, shake us up,
04:15 shake everything in our lives
04:17 that can be shaken that is not of You.
04:20 And I pray now, Father,
04:22 that You will bless this message,
04:24 bless Your people, and call many into Your kingdom
04:28 in Jesus' holy name.
04:29 Amen.
04:31 And now for our scripture reading,
04:32 I want to introduce
04:33 my dear friend, Mollie Steenson.
04:35 Well, good afternoon.
04:37 And I hope all of you have your Bible.
04:39 Three things you're supposed to always bring to church.
04:42 Number one is your Bible.
04:44 So get that Bible, open it up
04:46 to Exodus the 14th Chapter,
04:48 and you at home open up your Bibles as well.
04:51 Exodus the 14th Chapter,
04:53 and we're going to read verses 13,
04:55 14, and 15.
04:57 So as soon as you get there, let me hear an amen?
05:01 Okay, reading now Exodus 14:13,
05:05 "And Moses said unto the people, 'Fear ye not,
05:08 stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord,
05:12 which He will show to you today,
05:14 for the Egyptians whom you have seen today,
05:17 ye shall see them again no more for ever.
05:21 The Lord shall fight for you,
05:22 and you shall hold your peace.'
05:25 And the Lord said unto Moses,
05:27 'Wherefore criest thou unto me?
05:29 Speak unto the children of Israel,
05:31 that they go forward.'"
05:34 May God add a blessing to the reading
05:36 and the hearing of His Word.
05:37 Amen.
05:39 Trust in the Lord with all of your heart
05:41 and lean not on your own understanding.
05:43 Now we have a beautiful song by a very precious,
05:47 lovely woman of God.
05:49 And she is Denise Barclay.
05:51 We're so pleased that she has joined us today.
05:54 She's going to be singing a song called "Trust Me."
06:13 Close your eyes
06:17 Take a stand
06:20 It's okay
06:23 I know where we're going
06:28 Don't fret I've been before
06:35 Through these valleys
06:39 Down these long And dangerous roads
06:43 Yet dark as it seems Trust me
06:50 Though you can't see
06:53 You can trust me
06:57 The way may be steep
07:00 You can trust me
07:07 Let me lead
07:11 Trust me
07:25 Now open your eyes
07:28 But don't let go of my hand
07:33 Let your tears give way To smiles
07:36 See the joy inside your trial
07:40 Don't worry
07:43 You're safe with me around
07:47 Rest assured I'm on your side
07:50 I won't let you hit the ground
07:54 Yet dark as it seems
07:58 Trust me
08:02 Though you can't see
08:04 You can trust me
08:08 The way may be steep
08:11 You can trust me
08:19 Let me lead
08:22 Trust me
08:27 Oh, I know that What's in front of you
08:34 It isn't always clear
08:39 But in your heart If you believe
08:44 That I'm here,
08:48 I'm here
08:52 Trust me
08:56 Though you can't see
08:58 You can trust me
09:02 The way may be steep
09:05 You can trust me
09:12 Let me lead
09:17 Trust me
09:20 Though you can't see
09:23 You can trust me
09:27 The way may be steep
09:30 You can trust me
09:37 God says, trust me
09:45 You can trust me
09:48 Oh, yes, just let me lead
09:55 Trust me
10:03 Trust me
10:10 God says, trust me
10:15 Though you can't see
10:17 Still trust me
10:46 Oh, trust me
10:57 Amen!
11:04 Shall we pray?
11:09 Lord, the hour in which we live is one that is late.
11:15 And it calls for a determination
11:17 on the part of God's people to begin to trust Him.
11:22 In spite of what we cannot see,
11:25 Lord, the challenge today to us
11:29 is to trust Me.
11:32 As we open Your Word today, Lord, we pray that
11:34 You can lay the foundation for us to see that
11:37 because You are the God leading us.
11:40 There is no reason to believe that
11:42 we will not make the Promised Land.
11:46 Encourage us to keep our eyes fixed on You
11:49 and to go forward.
11:50 And we ask this in Jesus' name, we pray.
11:53 Amen.
11:56 If you have your Bibles, and I believe you do,
11:57 thank you so much Denise for that song,
12:00 one of my favorite artists.
12:02 Throughout the years,
12:04 I've listened to a young lady
12:05 by the name of Crystal Lewis.
12:08 And matter of fact,
12:09 I think that's Pastor Stanton's favorite singer.
12:12 And he introduced me to her a number of years ago
12:14 and then our daughters and our children,
12:18 you all go ahead and figure that out
12:19 in your own mind.
12:21 Because last you heard that Pastor John and his wife
12:23 didn't have any children, but we have two now,
12:26 and we got them full grown.
12:29 But praise the Lord, brothers and sisters.
12:31 When we focus on the Lord,
12:33 we find all the reasons to trust Him.
12:36 But when we turn our eyes away and look to man,
12:39 we can find many reasons
12:41 to begin to doubt the Lord that is leading us.
12:44 Exodus Chapter 14 begins with a very wonderful
12:47 understanding that
12:49 when God calls you out, God not only brings you out,
12:55 but God can keep you out.
12:56 Can you say amen?
12:58 God not only sees where we are.
13:00 God sees where we need to be,
13:02 and God sees where He wants us to eventually end up.
13:07 In other words, God takes us from a life of sin,
13:10 gives us a life of righteousness,
13:12 and gives us a direction to His righteous
13:15 and eternal kingdom.
13:16 Today, we're gonna see
13:17 how important it is for the people of God
13:20 in the midst of trials, and difficulty,
13:23 and tribulation to make up their mind
13:26 and just remember two words, go forward.
13:30 Now before we read Exodus Chapter 14,
13:32 I want to focus on a quotation
13:34 from my favorite author, Ellen White,
13:36 in the book Counsels on Stewardship.
13:39 I have quite a library of reading.
13:40 And matter of fact,
13:42 I still have quite a bit of books
13:43 that have not yet been unpacked.
13:45 But I put this in my sermon to remember that
13:48 there is nothing that I can face as a child of God
13:52 that God cannot find a solution for.
13:55 But I also want to open your eyes
13:56 to the unseen battle because while we look around us
14:00 and think the battle is against flesh and blood,
14:04 our real battle, friends, is not against flesh and blood.
14:07 As a matter of fact, the battle is so spiritual,
14:11 and it is so great that
14:12 the Lord has promised two things,
14:16 to fight the battles for us,
14:18 and to stand with us when we cannot see
14:21 what stands against us.
14:24 Counsels on Stewardship, page 154 and paragraph 1.
14:28 Listen carefully.
14:30 "As the people of God approach the perils of the last days,"
14:34 Are we in the last days?
14:36 "Satan holds earnest consultation
14:40 with his angels as to the most successful plan
14:44 to overthrow their faith.
14:47 He sees that the popular churches
14:49 are already lulled to sleep
14:52 by his deceptive power.
14:55 By pleasing sophistry and lying wonders,
14:59 he can continue to hold them under his control.
15:04 Therefore..."
15:05 This is the most important part of the quotation.
15:07 "Therefore he directs his angels
15:10 to lay a snare
15:12 especially for those
15:14 who are looking for the second advent of Christ
15:18 and are endeavoring
15:20 to keep all the commandments of God."
15:23 Revelation 12:17 says it this way,"
15:26 And the dragon is wroth with the woman,
15:28 and went to make war with the remnant of her seed,
15:31 which keep the commandments of God,
15:33 and have the," what friends?
15:34 "Testimony of Jesus Christ."
15:37 If you are looking forward to the advent of Christ,
15:39 the devil is trying to lay a snare for you.
15:42 If you're satisfied with five commandments,
15:44 you're not a problem to the devil.
15:46 If you're satisfied with six or your favorite group here,
15:50 some people said, well, I love my neighbors as myself.
15:53 Well, if that's all the commandments are,
15:55 then you're not a danger to the devil.
15:58 The Bible says, "Love the Lord, your God with,"
16:00 how much of your heart, friends?
16:01 "All your heart."
16:03 That's the first four commandments,
16:05 including the seventh day Sabbath.
16:07 Then the last six, love your neighbor
16:10 as yourself is outlined in the last six commandments.
16:13 We have 10 Commandments, not 10 suggestions,
16:17 not 10 menu items, but 10 Commandments.
16:20 And Satan knows that
16:21 they are so vitally important in our walk with God
16:25 that he's laying a snare,
16:27 especially for those endeavoring to keep
16:31 the commandments of God
16:32 and those looking forward to the second advent of Christ.
16:35 Now there was a time that
16:37 I would think that that's not an issue.
16:39 But there are a lot of Christians
16:40 today not looking forward to the second advent of Christ.
16:43 A lot of Christians today are looking forward
16:44 to the secret rapture.
16:47 Not looking forward
16:48 to the second appearing of Christ,
16:50 they're looking forward to some disappearing,
16:53 not appearing.
16:54 So if you're looking to disappear
16:56 and not have the Lord appear,
16:57 you're not a threat to the camp of the enemy.
17:00 In the story, the Lord reminds us
17:04 and I'm gonna say this with all the proclamation
17:06 I can muster up.
17:07 Brothers and sisters, we are nearing home.
17:11 We are nearing home.
17:13 Now Paul the Apostle says,
17:15 is our salvation nearer than
17:18 when we first believe, the night is far spent,
17:22 the day is at hand.
17:24 If you keep looking
17:25 and straining your eyes forward,
17:26 I think the songwriter says it so well.
17:29 We can see the gleams of the golden morning,
17:33 piercing through the midnight sky.
17:36 Got to keep our eyes fixed
17:38 because as long as you look to the left or to the right,
17:40 you may see the precipice
17:41 that may cause you to get discouraged.
17:44 But we got to look unto Jesus
17:45 who is the author and finisher of our faith.
17:48 Time to look in only one direction.
17:51 You see when God led the Israelites out of Egypt.
17:54 Deuteronomy 6:21 says,
17:56 "The Lord brought them out with a mighty hand."
18:00 God didn't just almost deliver them.
18:03 God delivered them with a mighty hand.
18:05 In other words, there was nothing that
18:07 Pharaoh could do to keep God's people in Egypt
18:11 once God wanted them out.
18:12 What do you say?
18:13 And I want to encourage you parents today,
18:15 lot of your children are in the spiritual Egypt.
18:18 They've left the church,
18:19 gone back into the old lifestyle,
18:21 gone back into the old habits,
18:23 gone back into the old addictions.
18:25 But, brothers and sisters, once you name
18:27 the name of Jesus Christ,
18:29 He's gonna go back to Egypt and find out
18:32 whatever He needs to do to get His sons and daughters
18:35 out of the land of Egypt,
18:36 and God can still bring them out
18:38 with a mighty hand.
18:39 What do you say?
18:40 The children of Israel being free from Egypt...
18:42 Forgot a number of things that we need to remember.
18:46 For you see, friends,
18:47 it was not Moses that brought them out of Egypt,
18:50 it was God.
18:52 It was not Moses that decided to free them, it was God.
18:57 It was not Moses that saved them
18:59 from the destroying angel, it was God.
19:02 It was not Moses that gave them water
19:04 in the wilderness.
19:05 Who was it, friends? It was God.
19:07 It was not Moses that rain down bread
19:10 when they were hungry.
19:11 It was who? It was God.
19:13 It was not Moses that protected them
19:15 from the serpents and the scorpions
19:17 in the wilderness, it was God.
19:21 It was not Moses that performed the signs
19:24 and wonders that kept them from the attacking armies,
19:28 it was God.
19:30 It was not Moses that gave them
19:32 a cloud during the day to cool them down in a pillar
19:36 of fire by night to warm them up,
19:38 it was God.
19:40 And I say that to say this.
19:42 It is not us that's delivering us,
19:45 it is God that's delivering us.
19:47 It is not us providing our need
19:49 in the wilderness journey to the kingdom,
19:51 it is God providing all of our need
19:54 according to His riches and glory.
19:56 What do you say?
19:57 We forget so often that on our best day
20:00 we can't do anything that's better than
20:03 what God can do on His worst day.
20:06 And God never has a worst day.
20:08 God never says, "You know what,
20:10 I am so tired answering prayers.
20:12 I don't want to go to work today."
20:15 Can you say amen?
20:17 He that keeps Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers.
20:23 God does not take vacations
20:25 because He knows
20:27 the devil doesn't take vacations.
20:30 God goes to church still
20:32 because He knows the devil has gotten used to go
20:34 into church today.
20:37 God still sends His angels to protect us
20:40 because He knows the devil tries to send
20:42 his angels to harm us.
20:44 And I want to say to you today,
20:46 when the angels got kicked out,
20:48 one-third God put out,
20:49 Brethren, two-thirds stayed with God.
20:52 So there are twice as many on our side
20:54 than there are on the devil side.
20:56 What do you say?
20:57 I got a quotation number of years ago.
20:59 I used to always say to kids,
21:00 "You've got an angel with you."
21:02 But I discovered Ellen White says,
21:03 "You don't have a single angel.
21:05 You got one on the right side,
21:06 and you got one on the left side."
21:08 Can you say amen?
21:09 And then the Bible says, "God is our real word."
21:11 Which means God's got our back.
21:16 But the Bible made it clear that even though
21:18 we know all these things in our mind,
21:20 there are days that we think that
21:22 the enemy is stronger than God.
21:23 Notice what the Bible says in Exodus Chapter 59.
21:26 Matter of fact, Exodus Chapter 14,
21:28 not Exodus 59 that came from somewhere,
21:31 I have no idea.
21:33 Exodus 14:10.
21:35 Look at the deliverance process.
21:39 "And when Pharaoh drew near,
21:43 the children of Israel lifted their eyes."
21:47 Now if the text stopped there,
21:50 I would have said they did the right thing
21:52 because David the Psalmist says,
21:53 "I will lift up my eyes unto the hill
21:56 from whence comes my help."
21:58 When we lift up our eyes in the midst of trials
22:00 and look up to Jesus, that's the good thing to do,
22:01 am I right?
22:03 But the Bible said,
22:04 "They lifted their eyes and behold,
22:07 the Egyptians marched after them.
22:09 So they were very afraid,
22:11 and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord."
22:15 When they lifted their eyes,
22:17 they did not lift their eyes to look to Jesus,
22:20 they lifted their eyes to look
22:22 to the approaching armies of Pharaoh.
22:24 And when you read the Bible,
22:26 Pharaoh didn't send a weak army after the Israelites.
22:28 As a matter of fact, it says in verse 7,
22:31 "He took six hundred of his choice chariots,"
22:35 Exodus 14:7, "and all the chariots of Egypt
22:41 with captains over every one of them."
22:44 Pharaoh unloaded his ammunition
22:47 against the people of God.
22:49 He sent his choice chariots, his best soldiers,
22:54 he gave captains over every one of them,
22:56 and there was not a single chariot left in Egypt
22:59 because they all were pursuing the people of God
23:02 to kill them in the wilderness.
23:05 Brethren, if we can see the battle against us today,
23:10 I believe that we'll shake in our boots.
23:13 And so I praise the Lord that
23:15 what we don't see God can handle,
23:17 what do you say?
23:19 Because the Bible says, Satan is coming after us.
23:22 In other words, let me translate that.
23:24 As Pharaoh emptied Egypt,
23:26 Satan has emptied the barrels of a hell against God's people
23:30 in these last days.
23:32 And I wanna repeat what I said this morning.
23:34 I don't care how many are not left in hell,
23:36 there's not enough angels in hell
23:38 to defeat God even if He was by Himself.
23:42 The gates of hell, the Bible says,
23:43 will not prevail against the church.
23:47 And the weakest saint...
23:48 I heard that quotation number of years ago,
23:50 I looked it up and I found it.
23:51 "The weakest saint on his knees
23:55 is more than a match for the devil."
23:57 What do you say?
23:59 You can be fainting, not able to pray,
24:01 but you muster up a prayer of faith
24:04 and the Spirit of God dresses it up
24:06 and makes it right before the Father.
24:08 The weakest saint in prayer
24:11 is more than conquerors against the battles of hell.
24:16 But the Egyptians pursued them,
24:18 and they picked up their eyes,
24:20 instead of looking to God,
24:21 they began to look toward the enemy,
24:23 and Pharaoh pursued them.
24:26 They took their eyes off of Jesus,
24:28 a lot of us are guilty of that.
24:30 You can go ahead and say amen.
24:32 They took their eyes off of their journey
24:34 and their destination.
24:36 You know, I've heard people nowadays say,
24:38 there was a time they used to believe in heaven.
24:40 But some Bible teachers are now beginning to say,
24:44 "Heaven is an imaginary place."
24:48 Some scholars are saying, "Scholars not of God's Word."
24:52 Some scholars are beginning to say,
24:54 "Heaven is just an imaginary thing
24:56 that God has created to encourage us
24:59 to keep trusting and worshiping Him."
25:02 But Paul, the Apostle says,
25:03 what John wrote down is not even
25:05 what heaven really looks like
25:07 because our eyes have not even seen
25:12 all that God has prepared for those that love him.
25:17 But I'm looking forward
25:18 to my streets of gold, anybody else?
25:20 I'm looking forward to walking through one of those 12 gates.
25:23 I'm looking forward to the day when I can walk into a place
25:26 where the gates don't have to be closed day or night
25:29 because it's nothing but a place
25:30 of eternal peace forevermore.
25:33 But they forgot about their destination,
25:35 they forgot about their journey,
25:36 they took their eyes off of Jesus.
25:38 They lost sight of those traveling with them.
25:40 Let me say something about that, Brethren.
25:42 You may be traveling to heaven,
25:44 but the person sitting next to you,
25:45 I hope they're traveling also in the same direction.
25:49 We've got to remember that if they're in the church,
25:51 if they're in the message,
25:53 we've got to encourage them along with ourselves
25:56 to keep on traveling in the same direction.
25:59 And I want to say
26:00 what a dear old saint said in Fairfield,
26:02 California, Sister Travis.
26:04 She said to me, "Brother, if you could see them,
26:08 they're not your enemy."
26:10 I'm gonna say that again.
26:12 Brother Matt, excuse me.
26:14 If you could see them, they're not your enemy.
26:19 Too often the devil makes us enemies of each other
26:21 and not enemy of his kingdom.
26:23 Too often we fight against each other,
26:26 rather than fighting against the forces of darkness.
26:29 Too often we think that
26:31 somebody in the church is trying to do us
26:32 and when in fact,
26:33 if there are un-surrendered weaknesses in their lives,
26:36 Satan can use that to maybe hinder our journey,
26:40 but the devil can never stop our journey
26:42 once our eyes are fixed on Christ.
26:46 They lost sight of those traveling with them,
26:47 and then they turn their attention away
26:50 from the work of the Lord.
26:52 And that's why the Bible says, "They were sore afraid."
26:57 They were very afraid.
26:59 I've seen Christians nowadays fearful of all kinds of things.
27:03 You know, some say, Well...
27:06 I have to go back to these temporal things
27:07 because we get all hooked up on temporal things.
27:10 You know, I'm afraid that I'm not gonna be
27:12 able to pay my child's tuition.
27:15 Well, Brethren, if the Lord wants you
27:16 to have a Christian education,
27:18 He'll make a way for that bill to be paid.
27:19 What do you say?
27:21 I'm not gonna be able to pay my medical bill.
27:23 What if God is concerned about your health,
27:24 He'll make a way
27:25 for that medical bill to be paid.
27:27 Or maybe you'll have them
27:28 forgive the whole thing altogether.
27:30 What do you say?
27:31 Whatever God has in store for you,
27:33 God can provide whatever
27:35 He says He's going to give to us.
27:37 We need not fear the temporal circumstances
27:41 because given time, every problem you have
27:45 is going to be taken care of.
27:47 We always live in the problem.
27:48 We've got to live outside the problem
27:50 and abide in the promises of Jesus Christ
27:53 because He who promised is faithful.
27:55 And God will not allow us to save ourselves,
27:59 God wants to save us
28:00 because our salvation will not get us
28:04 an inch off the ground.
28:07 They lost sight of Christ.
28:10 They looked to Pharaoh, they turned away
28:13 from the one leading them, and they began to look
28:16 to the one that was pursuing them.
28:19 That's why the Bible went on to say in Isaiah 26:3.
28:23 Brethren, what kind of peace do we need today?
28:25 Let me suggest, we need perfect peace.
28:27 Say that with me. We need what? Perfect.
28:29 You know what perfect peace means?
28:31 The kind of peace that cannot be interrupted,
28:33 no matter how the wind blows.
28:36 A peace that has no faults in it.
28:38 A peace, as the writer says, that passes all understanding.
28:42 Whereas the New Living Translation says,
28:44 a peace that does not need to be explained.
28:48 In other words, when you visit somebody
28:50 on their hospital bed,
28:51 I've had opportunity to do that.
28:53 And sometimes we go
28:55 to the hospital to encourage individuals,
28:57 and we leave more encouraged than when we got there.
29:01 Here they are wasting away.
29:02 I think of my sister-in-law there who passed away
29:05 not too long ago in St. Thomas, Romaiah.
29:09 Here I am talking to her on the phone,
29:11 she's been told that she has cancer.
29:13 She's been told that they can't do anything for her.
29:16 She's been told that she doesn't have much time.
29:19 We're all praying for a miracle.
29:21 And in the midst of her fading away,
29:24 she says to my brother,
29:25 "You know, the Lord
29:26 has already answered my prayer."
29:28 Now we've been praying for deliverance, but she says,
29:31 "The Lord already answered my prayer."
29:34 And he wandered what it was.
29:36 And she said to him,
29:37 "The Lord has decided that in this condition,
29:41 it's the best time to save me."
29:42 Come on and say amen. Amen.
29:44 Somebody may die on their bed of affliction
29:47 because the Lord says, "Now they're safe to save."
29:50 God knows how to save, when to save, who to save,
29:54 and what to save.
29:56 So if God allows your loved one to be laid to rest and you say,
29:59 "Lord, they were just about
30:00 to give their lives fully to Your cause."
30:02 God says, the reason I took them now,
30:04 the reason I allow them to be laid to rest.
30:06 Let me not use the word take because God doesn't kill, folk.
30:09 But the reason I allow them
30:11 to be laid to rest as Isaiah 57:1-2 says,
30:14 "I want to spare them from the evil, and the trials,
30:17 and temptations that are yet to come up on this world."
30:21 And Ellen White says that there are many
30:23 that are gonna be laid to rest by the mercy of God
30:28 before the time of trial comes upon this world.
30:30 I know two dear saints in California,
30:32 Sam and Kathy James.
30:34 And I remember years ago
30:36 that Kathy is like Paul the Apostle.
30:38 She said, "I want to be alive
30:41 when the time of trouble comes."
30:42 And her husband says, "Not me."
30:44 Not me.
30:45 He's tall, build, and she's short,
30:47 and very strong in the Lord.
30:49 And she says, "I want to be alive
30:50 when the Lord comes.
30:52 I want to go through the time of trial.
30:53 I want to see the church triumph."
30:54 And he said, "Not me. Lord, lay me to rest."
30:57 He's about 6'6" good, 200 and some pounds.
30:59 And I thought it would be the other way around.
31:00 So, Brethren,
31:02 it's not our physical attributes
31:03 that give us faith,
31:05 but it's our faith and our trust in God
31:06 that makes all the difference.
31:07 Can you say amen?
31:09 They have their faith in Moses and not in God.
31:11 And I wanna say this, "Although pastors ought to do
31:14 what God called them to do,
31:16 you got to still have your faith in nobody else
31:18 other than Jesus Christ '
31:21 cause He is the author and the finisher of our faith."
31:29 Took their eyes off of Jesus,
31:31 took their eyes off the journey.
31:34 And then they said something that really, really shocked me,
31:36 Pastor Stanton.
31:37 They said in verse 12 of Exodus Chapter 14.
31:41 This blew me away, but it gave me an insight
31:44 to how low we can sink
31:47 when we lose sight of the purpose
31:49 that God has for us, where He plants us.
31:51 Somebody said, "You may be an oak tree
31:53 or you may be just a fern, but when God plants you,
31:57 you ought to grow where God plants you."
31:58 Amen.
32:00 God brought them into
32:01 the wilderness not to kill them,
32:03 but to separate them from Egypt.
32:05 Let me make that very clear today.
32:07 In separating them from Egypt,
32:09 He was separating them from the dress of Egypt.
32:15 He was separating them from the diet of Egypt.
32:20 I got more amens on the diet than on the dress.
32:23 He was separating them
32:25 from the entertainment of Egypt.
32:27 He was separating them from the night life of Egypt.
32:31 And when they got in the wilderness
32:33 and saw all that God was taking away from them,
32:36 they fail to see what God was about
32:38 to give to them.
32:40 And they said, "Why would anybody
32:42 want to live in Thompsonville when we have New York?
32:45 We've got Atlanta.
32:46 We've got LA?
32:48 Why would anybody want to live in Thompsonville?
32:52 Well, Brethren, Thompsonville has some people
32:54 that used to live in New York.
32:55 Amen, New Yorkers.
32:56 Used to live in Atlanta. Amen, Atlanteans.
32:59 Used to live in some major cities
33:01 because we know that the time is drawing near
33:03 to get out of the populated cities
33:06 because Pharaoh/Satan can do more harm
33:11 to the church in the city
33:13 than he can do to the church in the wilderness.
33:17 They took their eyes off of the journey.
33:19 And then they said this ridiculous statement.
33:22 Ridiculous, ridiculous.
33:24 Exodus 14:12.
33:26 They began to rebuke Moses,
33:28 they began to rebuke their leader.
33:29 Brethren, watch it.
33:31 When you start rebuking the pastor,
33:33 he may not always be right, but he's still God's anointed.
33:39 There's some church committees get together and say,
33:40 now what can we do to get rid of our pastor?
33:42 You better be careful.
33:43 You may get rid of yourself in the process.
33:46 The Lord says it clearly, touch not the Lord's anointed
33:49 and do my prophet no harm.
33:51 The prophet of God,
33:52 the preacher of God may be resting,
33:53 but God is still watching over that man.
33:56 And if he steps out of line, God is gonna take care of him
33:58 and put him back in line.
34:01 But don't take it upon yourself as the responsibility
34:04 of the caring committee of the church
34:06 to get rid of somebody that God sees
34:08 ought to be there for specific reason.
34:11 Sometimes God puts ministers
34:13 in situations they can't handle,
34:15 so that they can grow,
34:17 not that we can get rid of them.
34:19 A lot of people nowadays,
34:20 "Well, I don't like the ideas of the pastor."
34:22 Well, take him to the Lord in prayer,
34:24 the one who hired him could take care of him.
34:27 Amen.
34:29 Some people say, "I don't like the music
34:30 the pastor's bringing into the church.
34:32 Well, pray, because the Lord can move them anytime,
34:34 the Lord can send them overseas.
34:37 The Lord can give him a call somewhere else
34:40 or the Lord can turn him into a real-estate salesman.
34:45 But if you don't approach your leaders with love
34:47 and the right motive in your heart,
34:49 you can hinder more of the work of God
34:51 than you can give glory to the work of God.
34:53 What do you say?
34:55 They said to Moses...
34:59 Verse 12, Exodus 14.
35:01 "Let us alone, they said,
35:03 that we may serve the Egyptians,
35:06 for it would have been
35:07 better for us to serve the Egyptians
35:11 than that we should die in the wilderness."
35:14 Brethren, you know, you got to be blind.
35:16 Excuse my vernacular of English,
35:18 splitting it up and breaking it down.
35:20 You've got to be blind to think that
35:23 it's better serving sin than it is serving the Savior.
35:27 You've got to be blind to think that it's better to go
35:29 be a drug addict than be one filled
35:32 by the Spirit of God.
35:33 You've got to be blind to think that it's better to live
35:36 for the world than to live for Jesus.
35:38 You've got to be blind to think
35:40 that you're having more fun partying
35:42 than you're having fun serving the Lord.
35:44 You see, the devil has signed a contract
35:46 with all those in the world
35:47 that look like they're having fun now.
35:49 He said, you know what? "I'm gonna give you fame.
35:51 I'm gonna give you fortune. I'm gonna give you visibility.
35:54 I'm gonna give you all the money,
35:56 and all the material you can have,
35:57 but don't forget to read the fine print at the very end
36:00 before you sign your name to this contract
36:01 I'm making with you.
36:03 I have only one clause to my contract that I make
36:05 with those of the world.
36:07 I want to kill you at the very end."
36:11 If you can agree to give me your life,
36:15 I'll give you all these things temporarily,
36:17 you'll get the visibility,
36:18 you'll get the fame, you'll get the fortune.
36:21 There are those who used to sing for the Lord
36:22 that are now singing for the world.
36:24 And they say, "Well, we got a good contract.
36:25 We're making a whole lot of money."
36:27 Brother, but you cannot buy your way to the kingdom.
36:29 You've got to go through Jesus.
36:32 They said, "Let's go back that we may serve Pharaoh in Egypt.
36:37 Now what makes it so ridiculous?
36:40 As they said, they figured that
36:43 if they go back to Egypt willingly...
36:45 Don't miss this point.
36:46 They thought that
36:48 if they go back to Egypt willingly, Melissa,
36:51 that Pharaoh was going to be nicer to them
36:54 this time around than he was the last time.
36:58 They said, you know what?
37:00 Last time we were there slaves,
37:02 but if we go back with a new attitude,
37:05 maybe Pharaoh would treat us with a different disposition.
37:09 In other words, we were drug addicts last time
37:11 because we were hooked.
37:13 But if we go back now as a casual drug user,
37:16 it won't be so bad because we could quit anytime.
37:20 Let me make it really clear.
37:22 There are those who are in the church
37:23 whose marriages are being attacked,
37:26 whose jobs are being attacked,
37:28 whose children are being attacked,
37:30 and instead of turning to Jesus,
37:32 they're turning to drugs, they're turning to marijuana,
37:36 they're turning to all kinds of illegal drugs,
37:39 feeling to themselves that if they dead in the pain
37:41 that somehow the pain is really gone.
37:43 Brother, what you really need
37:45 is to be filled by the power of Christ
37:47 because when you're sober all of a sudden,
37:49 you realize that the problem has now changed its address.
37:54 There are those that think
37:56 that there is an answer in the bottle.
37:57 That's why I do not support the idea that
37:59 there is anything like casual drinking
38:02 when it comes to being a Christian, what do you say?
38:04 Some folks say, "Well, you know,
38:05 as long as we don't get intoxicated,
38:07 that's all right."
38:09 Not even Jesus would sip.
38:13 Jesus wouldn't even sip in His moment of thirst.
38:17 Jesus wouldn't even sip it
38:21 in His moment that He was dying.
38:23 If He wouldn't sip it when He was dying of thirst,
38:25 we should not sip it at all.
38:31 Spirit is on the label,
38:32 but you'll be filled with a wrong spirit.
38:36 And in the Bible says, the wise men says,
38:38 "Your eyes will behold strange women."
38:45 They are those that think
38:48 that by working on the Sabbath,
38:50 I'll actually strengthen my income.
38:53 I mean, if I volunteer to do time and a half,
38:56 I'll be able to pay off that school bill
38:57 at the end of the month.
38:59 Brother, you cannot ever take care
39:00 of something that God promises
39:02 to take care of by compromising with God's principles,
39:06 which are your guides for life.
39:09 Some folk say, "Well, I won't do it every time."
39:11 But what you don't realize
39:12 is the moment you compromise once,
39:14 the devil says, "Ah, gotcha."
39:17 You do it once, it gets easier to do
39:19 it the second time around,
39:21 and the third time around
39:22 because the devil knows how to sweeten the pot.
39:25 He made the Israelites think that somehow Egypt
39:30 had something that they missed.
39:33 Even when they got to Sinai, they said we remember
39:36 the leeks and the onions.
39:40 We remember the days that we were able to eat bread
39:42 to the full and Moses
39:45 has brought us into the wilderness.
39:47 And all we got out here is a Walmart.
39:52 That's aside.
39:53 That's just to us in Thompsonville here.
39:56 All we have is a super Walmart,
39:58 I miss Macy's and I'm miss Nordstroms,
40:01 and I miss Dillard's, and I miss all the fabulous,
40:04 I miss Saks Fifth Avenue.
40:05 I missed the Lord & Taylor's,
40:07 Brethren, the only Lord you need is Lord and Savior,
40:10 not Lord & Taylor.
40:12 God knows exactly what to do to get His people
40:14 ready for the kingdom.
40:16 They got out there and they said,
40:17 "You know what, I remember the nights
40:19 when we could wake up at 3 o'clock in the morning
40:21 and have it our own way by going to Burger King."
40:23 Well, you wake up 3 o'clock in the morning
40:25 in Thompsonville, nothing's open.
40:28 Only thing you're gonna have is time to spend with Jesus
40:30 and Bible study and prayer.
40:31 Am I right, Pastor Murray?
40:32 So God takes us out of the wilderness,
40:34 God takes us, sorry out of Egypt
40:36 into the wilderness to get our diets reform.
40:39 Come on and say amen, reformers.
40:41 I'm eating stuff out here that I never thought I'd eat.
40:44 I'm even starting to like carob,
40:46 that's a scary one.
40:48 But God knows that I won't be eating.
40:50 I won't be eating all the stuff of the world
40:52 when I get to the kingdom.
40:53 God is changing our diet.
40:55 And some folk say, "Well, you know what,
40:57 I feel like I'm getting more square."
40:59 That's all right, brethren.
41:00 Heaven is a square place, you'll fit in.
41:02 What do you say?
41:04 They took their eyes off of the journey,
41:06 lost sight of Jesus, began to complain.
41:10 And they said, "Man, life is hard."
41:12 Let me say something to you.
41:13 The wise man said,
41:15 "The way of the transgressor is hard."
41:20 It's not hard to be a Christian.
41:21 It's disciplinary to be a Christian.
41:24 Some folk have never been disciplined,
41:27 and all of a sudden now God is disciplining us,
41:29 shaping us up.
41:30 Never forget, the Bible says,
41:32 "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten."
41:35 God doesn't beat us up, but I tell you what?
41:37 He does not spare the rod.
41:39 He would not spoil His child, but He does not abuse us
41:42 because He's a God of love.
41:43 What do you say?
41:45 You think that the devil is easier?
41:46 You go on back and start smiling at him,
41:48 he'll take you down in no time flat.
41:52 It may look glamorous out there.
41:54 You know, sometimes I sit down and I listen to the, you know,
41:56 the Grammy Awards and I think,
41:58 "Man, that brother cannot sing and he is raking in millions.
42:01 You know if I spent a few days in the,
42:03 you know if I went out and just sing for about a year
42:06 or so, I could have all the money I need,
42:07 and I could be back in the church
42:08 in no time flat and be a stronger preacher."
42:11 And Lord says, "You fool,
42:12 you can't do anything like that."
42:14 He's talking to me now, so I could call myself a fool.
42:18 You are foolish to think that having money
42:22 also equates with having righteousness.
42:26 You are foolish to think that having visibility,
42:29 and fame, and fortune...
42:30 You know what?
42:31 When you watch the lifestyles of the rich and famous,
42:33 that's how I'm dating myself.
42:35 Let me make it contemporary.
42:36 When you watch Cribs,
42:38 all those young folk are sitting back
42:39 and watching all the Cribs
42:40 that all the basketball players have,
42:42 and all the wealthy stars have,
42:44 and people sit down in the evening
42:45 while they're eating dinner
42:47 and watch ET Entertainment Tonight,
42:48 looking at all the fame and fortune
42:49 and who bought what, and who's marrying whom,
42:51 and who's switching wife with somebody.
42:53 They look at all the filth of the world and think,
42:55 "Man, it looks glamorous."
42:56 Brother, sin may look glamorous,
42:59 but fire glitter's at night.
43:06 Took them out of Egypt
43:08 and now that we're nearing home,
43:09 Pharaoh is saying, "Let's talk this over."
43:12 Brethren, remember this,
43:13 the way of the transgressor is hard.
43:16 It is disciplinary to be a Christian.
43:20 God's not breaking us.
43:21 God's molding us.
43:23 As one sculptor said, somebody asked him,
43:25 "How did you make
43:27 such a perfect statue of Jesus?"
43:28 He said, "You know how?
43:30 Whatever didn't look like Jesus, I chiseled it off.
43:33 Whatever looked like Jesus, I left it there."
43:36 Brethren, everything that doesn't look like Jesus
43:39 in our lives, He's gonna chisel it off.
43:42 It may be painful at times,
43:44 He may have to turn the fire up
43:46 to melt the filth out of our golden lives.
43:48 But when He remolds us,
43:50 we are gonna worth a whole lot more
43:52 after the melting process.
43:54 Let me clear it up, after the smelting process
43:57 than before the smelting process.
44:01 God does not put iron in the fire
44:06 and increase its value.
44:08 He puts gold in the fire to increase its value.
44:12 The reason why you go through a fiery trial sometime
44:14 in your wilderness journey
44:16 is because God is getting you ready
44:18 for the kingdom of heaven.
44:20 What do you say?
44:21 So don't get distracted by what the enemy is trying to do.
44:23 He's trying to just make it look like God is an upset God,
44:26 and God as a mean God.
44:28 But I like the way that Moses did it.
44:30 Sometimes, every now and then, like a very faithful leader,
44:33 we've got to stand up and refocus the people of God
44:35 because, you know, sometimes as a pastor...
44:37 And you pastors, you know what I'm talking about?
44:40 Sometimes as a pastor, you get so many phone calls
44:43 when you don't want them, and so many complaints
44:46 when you don't want to hear them,
44:48 and so many ideas that
44:49 you really don't need to entertain.
44:52 And one opinion over here and one opinion over there,
44:55 and somebody's saying, "Well, Pastor, do it this way."
44:57 And then somebody else has an opposite idea.
44:59 And you like both of the folk and you want to say,
45:01 what if I don't do what so and so says,
45:02 and do what so and so says,
45:04 they're gonna dislike each other.
45:05 And who do I say, I favor over the other?
45:09 And all these ideas are flooding our minds.
45:11 That's why when Moses got flooded
45:13 by the children of Israel with how he need to lead them.
45:18 I like what Moses said in Exodus 14:13.
45:22 Turn there with me, Brethren.
45:24 There comes a time when God is saying,
45:27 "We've got to open our eyes,
45:28 the message to Laodicea is you need to pray
45:32 for eye salve that you may see."
45:35 Here it is.
45:36 Exodus 14:13,
45:40 "And Moses said to the people..."
45:42 And I would suggest to you that Moses did not whisper
45:44 this to the people in the midst of their complaining,
45:47 I would suggest to you that Moses stood in
45:49 his pulpit and said, "Let me tell you something.
45:52 Here's what God told me to tell you this morning."
45:55 Moses said to the people.
45:57 Say it with me, brethren, "Do not be afraid."
46:00 What else?
46:01 "Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord,
46:06 which He will accomplish for you,"
46:08 when, Brethren?
46:10 When, brethren? "Today."
46:11 When, Brethren? Today.
46:13 When? Today.
46:14 Not tomorrow, friends, not next week.
46:17 You may not see the results of your salvation yet,
46:21 but God is able to save every one of us today.
46:25 What do you say?
46:26 Paul the Apostle didn't say
46:28 tomorrow is the day of salvation.
46:29 He said, "Today is the salvation.
46:31 Today is the acceptable time.
46:33 If you hear His voice, harden not your heart."
46:37 Today is the day of salvation.
46:39 Today is the acceptable time.
46:41 The Lord will save you today.
46:44 And then He says in the remainder of the verse
46:46 and I like this.
46:48 And I praise God for this because some people think that
46:51 the devil is gonna be around for a long time
46:56 burning in the fires of hell.
46:58 But if you read the text, the Bible says,
47:01 "For the Egyptians whom you see today,
47:03 you will see again no more forever."
47:06 What do you say?
47:07 There's not gonna be some constant reminder
47:09 throughout eternity of all the evil that existed.
47:12 He says, "Behold, I make all things new."
47:14 The former things shall not be remembered
47:16 nor come into mind.
47:17 I have reasons to rejoice today
47:19 because there are problems I had in my past
47:20 that today I can smile about.
47:22 Anybody else?
47:24 But when you were in the middle of it,
47:26 it was about to consume your life.
47:29 When Merle was on his hospital bed,
47:31 and your life was fleeting away,
47:32 it looked like,
47:34 "Oh, I was not going to make it at camp meeting."
47:35 But praise God today, he's here.
47:37 Because God could say, "Well, the doctors may have forgotten
47:39 what to do, but I am the master physician,
47:42 I can do anything.
47:44 And when man fails, God steps in.
47:48 And God doesn't step in and say,
47:49 "Doc, could you give me your manual?"
47:51 God says, "Move aside.
47:52 Your manual doesn't have the ideas
47:54 that I know that My people need."
47:58 God can heal our sickness.
48:00 God can deliver us from trials,
48:02 and tribulation, and financial ruin.
48:04 That's why the Bible says in verse 14.
48:06 Notice this, it's there for even
48:09 the people of the last days.
48:12 He says, "The Lord will fight for you,
48:17 you shall hold your peace."
48:26 Now I've been in fights before.
48:28 Anybody who had been in a fight before?
48:31 I don't expect the women to raise their hands,
48:33 but I've seen one raised her hand.
48:35 I've been in a fight before.
48:38 And I've got a permanent scar under my hair.
48:41 Every time I cut my hair too low,
48:43 my niece says,
48:44 "You're losing hair Uncle John."
48:45 And I said, "No, I'm not. I'm not getting older.
48:47 Don't talk about my hair.
48:48 I'm not losing anything." That's a scar.
48:51 I got hit in the head years ago
48:53 fighting a gang in New York City.
48:55 They broke a broomstick over my head.
48:57 I'm glad it wasn't in the 1990s or 2000s
49:00 'cause they would have shot me then.
49:02 Broke a broomstick over my head,
49:04 threw a knife at me,
49:05 fighting three guys, I got away with my life.
49:08 And the news on the streets were,
49:10 don't ever come back up in this area again.
49:12 Fulton and Franklin, you know, I'm talking about,
49:14 Pastor Murray
49:15 because the word out on the street
49:16 is you're as good as dead.
49:18 That was the word the gangs were looking for,
49:20 you're good as dead.
49:22 I didn't know this text then.
49:25 But I had enough sense to stay home.
49:29 Yes, I did.
49:30 I figured, well,
49:32 there's enough things on television.
49:33 And I could go to the subway on different direction.
49:36 If you're from New York, you know, the trains,
49:37 I could go there another way.
49:39 I don't need to be foolish and put myself
49:41 where I may not come back home, but I had a big brother then.
49:44 He was my big brother. He was like raised with me.
49:46 God bless him. He's now resting in the grave.
49:48 And before he gave, before he died,
49:50 he was a gangster. He worked for the mafia.
49:53 They used to call him... They called him the Collector.
49:57 And they called his friend Sure Shot.
49:58 The reason, he worked for the mafia.
50:00 If you have owe them,
50:01 he came after you and you'd pay.
50:03 His friend, they call him Sure Shot.
50:04 He walked the streets every day.
50:05 He had a long coat summer or winter
50:07 because he had a rifle under his coat all the time.
50:10 And before I turned my life over to the Lord,
50:11 I didn't know then about what I know now.
50:13 Praise God that my senses are sharpened then.
50:16 But back then, I didn't know that
50:18 I had a shepherd to turn to,
50:21 back then I turned to humanity.
50:23 And my big brother said to me one day,
50:27 go into the pool hall.
50:29 Just go in and walk in there.
50:31 And when I walked into the pool hall
50:32 where this gang was, they looked at me
50:35 like our breakfast time, dinner time.
50:38 This is it. He's out.
50:39 And he walked in behind me.
50:41 And they said, "Hey, how you doing."
50:43 Willie, Barney. I could see his...
50:45 He died now. How you doing?
50:47 And he said, "I just want to say
50:49 one thing to you.
50:50 That's my cousin. Nobody touches him.
50:52 You got that? Nobody messes with him."
50:56 Brethren, from that day on to this I'm still alive.
50:58 I'm above the ground.
50:59 I can go to New York today and nobody messes with me.
51:01 Praise the Lord.
51:03 Now let me make it clear and spiritual.
51:05 If a man can do that for us,
51:08 what can Jesus do?
51:11 Brethren, we've got a shepherd that will never let us down.
51:14 His name is Jesus.
51:16 When you read the remainder of the story, the Israelites,
51:19 when they look to Jesus, He went to battle for them,
51:23 and the Egyptians that pursued them
51:25 were destroyed by the mighty hand of God
51:29 because God said through Moses,
51:30 "I've got only one thing to say to the children of Israel.
51:33 Forget about your problems.
51:34 Forget about your difficulty.
51:35 Forget about the things you can't solve,
51:37 just tell them stand still, see the salvation of the Lord."
51:42 And I only got two things to end this sentence
51:43 with, Brethren.
51:45 Tell them go forward.
51:46 Today as you listen to Denise sing
51:48 "Shepherd of My Heart,"
51:49 I pray that you can stop looking
51:50 at your problems and look to the shepherd
51:53 who knows how to lead His wandering sheep to a place
51:57 where we can find eternal peace.
51:59 Amen.
52:20 Maker of this heart of mine
52:25 You know me very well
52:30 You understand my deepest parts
52:35 More than I know myself
52:40 So when I face the darkness
52:44 And when I need to find my way
52:49 I'll trust in You
52:52 Shepherd of my heart
52:59 Keeper of this heart of mine
53:04 Your patience knows no end
53:08 You've loved me back Into Your arms
53:14 Time and time again
53:18 So as I start to wander
53:22 Like a lamb that's gone astray
53:28 I'll trust in You
53:30 Shepherd of my heart
53:36 You're the beacon of my nights
53:42 You're the sunlight of my days
53:46 I can rest within Your arms
53:51 I can know Your loving ways
54:00 So as I walk through valleys
54:04 Listening for my Master's call
54:08 I'll trust in You
54:11 Shepherd of my heart
54:31 O Giver of this heart of mine
54:37 You're what I'm looking for
54:42 For all my deepest gratitude
54:47 You love me even more
54:52 So as I walk through valleys
54:57 Listening for the Master's call
55:02 I'll trust in You
55:05 Shepherd of my heart
55:12 And You're the beacon of my nights
55:18 You're the sunlight of my days
55:23 I can rest within Your arms
55:28 I can know Your loving ways
55:38 So as I walk through valleys
55:44 Listening for, Lord,
55:46 Your call I'll trust in You
55:52 Shepherd of my heart
56:00 I'll trust in You
56:05 Shepherd of my heart
56:20 Amen.
56:22 Friends, when my wife and I were traveling back to Florida
56:24 number of years ago,
56:25 we were tired and weary in the journey.
56:27 But when we saw the sign said, "Welcome to Florida,"
56:31 all of our energy returned.
56:33 Brethren, one day we're gonna see the sign
56:35 "Welcome to the kingdom of God."
56:37 If it's your determination to continue following the Lord
56:40 until we see that sign, let's stand together
56:42 and thank the Lord this afternoon.
56:44 Let us pray.
56:45 Father God in heaven, we thank You for Your faith.
56:48 And right now as Your sheep in a wandering wilderness Lord,
56:51 we pray that You maintain the relationship
56:55 to be our Shepherd of our hearts.
56:57 Comfort us, guide us,
57:00 strengthen us, and one day
57:02 we will see with our hearts face to face
57:05 to thank You for what You have done.
57:07 Keep us to that end, we pray in Jesus' loving name.
57:11 Amen.
57:12 Friends, may God bless you, continue trusting Him
57:15 till He comes again.
