Hi, this is Charlene West. 00:00:01.36\00:00:02.70 I'm the Director of Project Development 00:00:02.73\00:00:04.07 for Adventist World Aviation. 00:00:04.10\00:00:06.20 Growth is something 00:00:06.23\00:00:07.57 that Adventist World Aviation has been involved with 00:00:07.60\00:00:09.90 for more than 20 years. 00:00:09.94\00:00:11.87 As we go 00:00:11.91\00:00:13.24 into the un-entered areas of the world, 00:00:13.27\00:00:15.31 we're wanting to grow and expand the areas 00:00:15.34\00:00:18.68 that we're able to go into to help 00:00:18.71\00:00:20.68 spread the message of Jesus' love 00:00:20.72\00:00:22.78 faster into these hard to reach areas. 00:00:22.82\00:00:25.52 So we're constantly trying to get more airplanes in there, 00:00:25.55\00:00:28.96 to get more missionaries in there, 00:00:28.99\00:00:31.36 to get a bigger and better infrastructure 00:00:31.39\00:00:34.50 to help us become more effective 00:00:34.53\00:00:37.13 as we share Jesus around the world. 00:00:37.17\00:00:40.37 We are here at Oshkosh, 00:00:40.40\00:00:42.37 where we have been showing the Pathfinder plane 00:00:42.40\00:00:46.17 that was built here by the Pathfinders in 1999 00:00:46.21\00:00:50.38 at the Oshkosh International Camporee 00:00:50.41\00:00:52.78 during this time, 00:00:52.81\00:00:54.38 and we were able to have that Pathfinder plane here 00:00:54.42\00:00:57.75 after it has been in service for many years since 1999. 00:00:57.79\00:01:02.56 It is so exciting to see how with all of the... 00:01:02.59\00:01:06.09 with the work of the Pathfinders, 00:01:06.13\00:01:07.60 the work of our missionaries, 00:01:07.63\00:01:09.30 how Adventist World Aviation has been able to get, 00:01:09.33\00:01:12.33 be expanded 00:01:12.37\00:01:13.70 and to get into other parts of the world 00:01:13.74\00:01:15.84 and to become more effective 00:01:15.87\00:01:17.41 as we continue to serve Jesus in these many countries. 00:01:17.44\00:01:20.94 Adventist World Aviation is proud to mentor 00:01:41.53\00:01:44.47 and use youth worldwide 00:01:44.50\00:01:46.33 to help spread the message of Jesus Christ. 00:01:46.37\00:01:49.34 Dating back to its very beginning, 00:01:49.37\00:01:51.27 AWA has had the burden 00:01:51.31\00:01:53.51 to teach and involve young people 00:01:53.54\00:01:56.24 in Mission Aviation. 00:01:56.28\00:01:58.25 Adventist World Aviation has had partnership 00:01:58.28\00:02:01.18 with the Pathfinder Youth Club 00:02:01.22\00:02:02.62 of the Seventh-day Adventist Church 00:02:02.65\00:02:04.15 for many years now. 00:02:04.19\00:02:05.79 Their history dates back over 15 years 00:02:05.82\00:02:08.89 when AWA first had the vision 00:02:08.92\00:02:10.99 of involving youth in Mission Aviation. 00:02:11.03\00:02:14.13 Introducing young people to aviation at an early age 00:02:14.16\00:02:17.40 opens countless doors of opportunity 00:02:17.43\00:02:19.67 for their futures. 00:02:19.70\00:02:21.04 In 1998, 00:02:21.07\00:02:22.60 the Pathfinders joined efforts with Adventist World Aviation 00:02:22.64\00:02:26.64 in restoring a Cessna 182 00:02:26.68\00:02:29.41 to be sent to the mission field. 00:02:29.44\00:02:31.45 Over 465 Pathfinders 00:02:31.48\00:02:33.92 were able to help restore the plane 00:02:33.95\00:02:36.18 and be exposed to aviation. 00:02:36.22\00:02:38.79 The plane was completely disassembled 00:02:38.82\00:02:40.92 and modified to suit bush operations. 00:02:40.96\00:02:44.29 Thirty nine different Pathfinder clubs 00:02:44.33\00:02:46.73 worked together 00:02:46.76\00:02:48.10 alongside professional mechanics, 00:02:48.13\00:02:50.23 as they unitedly worked 00:02:50.27\00:02:51.97 to restore and refurbished the plane. 00:02:52.00\00:02:55.04 Another major contribution 00:02:55.07\00:02:56.71 the young volunteers were able to make 00:02:56.74\00:02:58.77 was at the 1999 Faith on Fire Pathfinder Camporee. 00:02:58.81\00:03:03.28 Here a collection was taken up 00:03:03.31\00:03:05.25 and the Pathfinders were able to raise funds 00:03:05.28\00:03:07.45 to finish the Pathfinder plane to get it up in the air. 00:03:07.48\00:03:11.59 In their honor, 00:03:11.62\00:03:12.95 the plane was painted the Pathfinder colors 00:03:12.99\00:03:15.09 and even named after them. 00:03:15.12\00:03:17.23 The Pathfinder plane was delivered 00:03:17.26\00:03:18.89 to the mission field of Guyana on December 5 of 1999. 00:03:18.93\00:03:23.90 The Pathfinder plane has been busy 00:03:23.93\00:03:26.50 serving in Guyana 00:03:26.53\00:03:28.10 saving lives physically and for eternity. 00:03:28.14\00:03:31.11 The Guyanese see the yellow plane flying 00:03:31.14\00:03:33.81 and associate it with the love of Jesus. 00:03:33.84\00:03:37.31 Adventist World Aviation is all about growth. 00:03:37.35\00:03:40.02 We are wanting to grow 00:03:40.05\00:03:41.48 the mission fields that we're in. 00:03:41.52\00:03:43.39 We're trying to grow 00:03:43.42\00:03:44.75 the number of planes and missionaries 00:03:44.79\00:03:46.39 that we have into service. 00:03:46.42\00:03:48.39 We are here in Oshkosh, 00:03:48.42\00:03:50.36 here where we part of our growth 00:03:50.39\00:03:52.79 is the Pathfinder plane that was actually here in 1999, 00:03:52.83\00:03:57.53 where the Pathfinders were able to work on that plane 00:03:57.57\00:04:00.24 and help us to get that plane into service. 00:04:00.27\00:04:03.24 And it has been into service ever since that day. 00:04:03.27\00:04:06.64 And here this week 00:04:06.68\00:04:08.71 at the Pathfinder Camporee here in Oshkosh, 00:04:08.74\00:04:11.45 that plane has been here 00:04:11.48\00:04:12.81 where the Pathfinders who were here 00:04:12.85\00:04:14.75 can actually come up and touch it and see it 00:04:14.78\00:04:17.12 and hear stories from the mission pilots 00:04:17.15\00:04:19.62 that have been flying that plane since that time. 00:04:19.65\00:04:22.76 We had a lot of fun being able to tell the kids 00:04:22.79\00:04:25.06 about the yellow airplane, the Pathfinder airplane. 00:04:25.09\00:04:28.46 And one thing that's so exciting about this 00:04:28.50\00:04:30.40 is that it is the Pathfinder airplane, 00:04:30.43\00:04:33.10 it's their airplane. 00:04:33.13\00:04:34.70 And, so I was able to tell several different stories 00:04:34.74\00:04:37.94 about the things 00:04:37.97\00:04:39.31 that this airplane has been doing down 00:04:39.34\00:04:40.68 in Guyana, South America, 00:04:40.71\00:04:42.04 and they are really excited to be able to see 00:04:42.08\00:04:44.21 this is their plane that they had put together, 00:04:44.25\00:04:46.21 that they had sponsored, 00:04:46.25\00:04:47.75 and it was fun to tell them the stories 00:04:47.78\00:04:49.88 about the work that it's been doing. 00:04:49.92\00:04:52.89 Also just telling the younger kids, 00:04:52.92\00:04:54.92 you know that this is their airplane 00:04:54.96\00:04:56.66 and the things that it was doing, 00:04:56.69\00:04:58.39 just to see their eyes light up 00:04:58.43\00:04:59.89 and just because they had no idea 00:04:59.93\00:05:01.70 the awesome things that an airplane can do. 00:05:01.73\00:05:04.53 Adventist World Aviation had a long-standing partnership 00:05:04.57\00:05:07.64 with the Pathfinders that's going back, 00:05:07.67\00:05:10.11 I think close to 15 years. 00:05:10.14\00:05:12.01 And that has proven to be a great way 00:05:12.04\00:05:15.04 to encourage young people to get involved 00:05:15.08\00:05:17.01 and to see the results of their work 00:05:17.05\00:05:19.75 and their contribution with the Pathfinder airplane 00:05:19.78\00:05:22.18 out there serving. 00:05:22.22\00:05:23.55 That is a great way to get young people involved 00:05:23.59\00:05:26.55 all across the world, actually, 00:05:26.59\00:05:29.99 because the Pathfinders are everywhere, 00:05:30.03\00:05:32.69 and we see that logo recognized on the airplane 00:05:32.73\00:05:34.86 in all sorts of places that we go. 00:05:34.90\00:05:36.56 Aircraft, November 81708 00:05:36.60\00:05:40.80 was born here at Oshkosh. 00:05:40.84\00:05:44.04 It was funded through the Pathfinder program. 00:05:44.07\00:05:46.07 It later was painted the Pathfinder colors. 00:05:46.11\00:05:48.88 It's become known as the yellow plane, 00:05:48.91\00:05:51.25 the yellow Pathfinder plane. 00:05:51.28\00:05:53.01 It's served many years. 00:05:53.05\00:05:54.95 Several years ago, that plane was here. 00:05:54.98\00:05:58.99 The kids actually worked on that plane. 00:05:59.02\00:06:01.16 It was put into service. 00:06:01.19\00:06:02.86 Literally it had saved thousands of lives 00:06:02.89\00:06:05.23 and if you go beyond that, 00:06:05.26\00:06:06.59 it has served tens of thousands of lives 00:06:06.63\00:06:08.56 because of the spiritual connection 00:06:08.60\00:06:09.93 that it has made. 00:06:09.96\00:06:11.30 After its many years in service, 00:06:11.33\00:06:13.20 the Pathfinder plane was due for maintenance and upgrades, 00:06:13.23\00:06:17.21 so it was returned to the United States. 00:06:17.24\00:06:19.77 Once again, 00:06:19.81\00:06:21.14 the International Pathfinder group 00:06:21.18\00:06:22.61 stood up to the challenge, 00:06:22.64\00:06:24.31 and again offered to help assist restoring their plane, 00:06:24.35\00:06:29.48 so it can be put back into the mission field 00:06:29.52\00:06:31.55 as soon as possible. 00:06:31.59\00:06:33.99 This year Adventist World Aviation 00:06:34.02\00:06:36.56 once again joined partnership 00:06:36.59\00:06:38.13 with the Pathfinders at the 2014 Camporee 00:06:38.16\00:06:42.50 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. 00:06:42.53\00:06:44.47 At this last Pathfinder Oshkosh Camporee, 00:06:44.50\00:06:48.00 Adventist World Aviation proudly displayed 00:06:48.04\00:06:50.71 the mission Pathfinder plane for all the youth to see. 00:06:50.74\00:06:54.41 Pathfinders were able to see, 00:06:54.44\00:06:56.24 touch and hear 00:06:56.28\00:06:57.61 about the work this plane was doing 00:06:57.65\00:06:59.55 in Guyana. 00:06:59.58\00:07:00.92 Mission pilots stood by the plane 00:07:00.95\00:07:02.55 and recounted to thousands the great work this plane did, 00:07:02.58\00:07:06.29 and how the Pathfinders were largely responsible 00:07:06.32\00:07:09.29 for the existence of this plane. 00:07:09.32\00:07:11.76 All this fueled young Pathfinders 00:07:11.79\00:07:14.23 and encourage them 00:07:14.26\00:07:15.60 to actively get involved in restoring 00:07:15.63\00:07:17.67 and getting this plane back into the skies. 00:07:17.70\00:07:21.10 This year at Oshkosh, 00:07:21.14\00:07:22.47 Adventist World Aviation offered an aviation honor. 00:07:22.50\00:07:26.74 We had three stations, 00:07:26.78\00:07:28.11 the first one was a flight simulator 00:07:28.14\00:07:29.61 that you could go to, 00:07:29.64\00:07:30.98 the second one was a ground school, 00:07:31.01\00:07:32.55 and then the third station 00:07:32.58\00:07:33.92 was where the kids could come out here 00:07:33.95\00:07:35.28 and see a real mission airplane that's been in service. 00:07:35.32\00:07:39.19 And we were able to tell them all kinds of stories 00:07:39.22\00:07:41.69 of how God has been using this airplane 00:07:41.72\00:07:43.49 to reach the people in Guyana, South America. 00:07:43.53\00:07:45.83 Pathfinders who came to the AWA tent 00:07:45.86\00:07:48.80 to complete an aviation honor 00:07:48.83\00:07:50.90 and learn about Mission Aviation. 00:07:50.93\00:07:53.64 But even more exciting than this 00:07:53.67\00:07:56.00 was that they had the opportunity 00:07:56.04\00:07:57.87 to see the original Pathfinder plane 00:07:57.91\00:08:00.08 once again. 00:08:00.11\00:08:01.44 This plane was flown home from Guyana 00:08:01.48\00:08:03.98 for some much needed refurbishments and updates. 00:08:04.01\00:08:06.98 It was flown to the Camporee 00:08:07.02\00:08:08.55 and displayed for the Pathfinders 00:08:08.58\00:08:10.72 to once again reunite with the plane 00:08:10.75\00:08:13.36 they helped put into the mission field. 00:08:13.39\00:08:16.46 The Pathfinder plane was proudly displayed 00:08:16.49\00:08:19.29 for all of the Camporee to see. 00:08:19.33\00:08:21.43 Laura LaBore, 00:08:21.46\00:08:22.80 one of the mission pilots who flew the airplane 00:08:22.83\00:08:25.40 in service in Guyana for over 10 years 00:08:25.43\00:08:28.30 was also present to share stories 00:08:28.34\00:08:30.37 about what a wonderful tool this airplane has been 00:08:30.41\00:08:33.41 in the mission field. 00:08:33.44\00:08:34.84 Thousands of kids crowded around 00:08:34.88\00:08:37.28 as they eagerly listened to the stories Laura told them 00:08:37.31\00:08:41.05 about this plane's work in Guyana. 00:08:41.08\00:08:45.39 One of the goals of Adventist World Aviation 00:08:45.42\00:08:47.66 has always been to inspire youth 00:08:47.69\00:08:49.79 and expose them to the joys of aviation. 00:08:49.82\00:08:52.83 The new aviation honor 00:08:52.86\00:08:54.30 is just one of the ways of introducing aviation skills 00:08:54.33\00:08:58.03 to new young perspective pilots. 00:08:58.07\00:09:00.74 Adventist World Aviation is passionate 00:09:00.77\00:09:03.20 about introducing young kids to aviation opportunities. 00:09:03.24\00:09:07.71 The aviation honor allowed thousands 00:09:07.74\00:09:10.01 to get a glimpse of what it takes to be a pilot, 00:09:10.05\00:09:12.81 and even more importantly, 00:09:12.85\00:09:14.55 expose them to the world of Mission Aviation. 00:09:14.58\00:09:18.05 The kids were able to get hands-on training 00:09:18.09\00:09:20.56 as they flew simulators, 00:09:20.59\00:09:22.39 and learned from the experts in their ground school. 00:09:22.42\00:09:25.13 Adventist World Aviation has a large burden 00:09:40.78\00:09:43.65 for getting youth involved in aviation. 00:09:43.68\00:09:46.45 Not only teaching them about aviation, 00:09:46.48\00:09:48.92 but also letting them experience the joys of flight. 00:09:48.95\00:09:52.85 AWA as well as Thunderbird Academy 00:09:52.89\00:09:55.49 have partnered together 00:09:55.52\00:09:56.86 to develop an aviation training program 00:09:56.89\00:09:59.36 at a high school level. 00:09:59.39\00:10:01.40 Young students can begin their Mission Aviation training 00:10:01.43\00:10:04.57 while still attending high school 00:10:04.60\00:10:06.70 at a decreased and affordable rate. 00:10:06.74\00:10:09.27 As part of our growth in our ministry, 00:10:09.30\00:10:12.87 we have also got aviation program 00:10:12.91\00:10:15.54 in Thunderbird Academy, 00:10:15.58\00:10:17.65 which is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. 00:10:17.68\00:10:20.45 Adventist World Aviation is pleased 00:10:20.48\00:10:22.55 to be working with these academies 00:10:22.58\00:10:24.89 to be able to expand 00:10:24.92\00:10:27.02 into a network of young students 00:10:27.06\00:10:29.26 that could possibly go into Mission Aviation service 00:10:29.29\00:10:33.09 into the areas of the world that we are working. 00:10:33.13\00:10:36.00 I have young children 00:10:36.03\00:10:37.70 and I have had the opportunity of traveling with them 00:10:37.73\00:10:40.37 around the world for mission programs. 00:10:40.40\00:10:42.37 And there's no better mission 00:10:42.40\00:10:44.04 to have than those right at home. 00:10:44.07\00:10:46.64 We forget that our kids in our schools 00:10:46.68\00:10:50.21 are our mission field. 00:10:50.25\00:10:51.78 And there's no better place for me 00:10:51.81\00:10:53.55 to use my skill in something that I enjoy doing, 00:10:53.58\00:10:57.29 and seeing the satisfaction 00:10:57.32\00:10:58.79 that the children have in learning 00:10:58.82\00:11:00.66 how to develop these skills 00:11:00.69\00:11:02.96 and eventually use these skills 00:11:02.99\00:11:04.33 to further the cause of the Lord 00:11:04.36\00:11:06.03 around the world. 00:11:06.06\00:11:07.40 We can have a school in an Adventist Academy 00:11:07.43\00:11:11.03 that is such an awesome experience. 00:11:11.07\00:11:12.93 It's such an awesome opportunity 00:11:12.97\00:11:14.37 to be able to have a training center 00:11:14.40\00:11:16.44 in our own Adventist Academy, 00:11:16.47\00:11:17.97 where we can start youth at the age of 14 years old, 00:11:18.01\00:11:21.94 and train them all the way through 00:11:21.98\00:11:23.38 until they're 18 years old, 00:11:23.41\00:11:25.41 to obtain their, you know, their private, 00:11:25.45\00:11:27.62 perhaps even their instrument. 00:11:27.65\00:11:29.05 Then we're partnering with schools 00:11:29.08\00:11:30.42 like Andrews University to continue their education, 00:11:30.45\00:11:33.32 maybe in theology, maybe in nursing, 00:11:33.36\00:11:35.72 you know, they can continue their education. 00:11:35.76\00:11:38.19 So it's extremely important 00:11:38.23\00:11:40.33 to have our flight training schools 00:11:40.36\00:11:42.73 in primary education. 00:11:42.76\00:11:44.37 We are here to build relationships 00:11:44.40\00:11:46.50 for the long-term future with youth here. 00:11:46.53\00:11:48.50 So, Erik, tell us about our involvement, 00:11:48.54\00:11:51.14 how this all came to be 00:11:51.17\00:11:53.27 with Adventist World Aviation in Arizona? 00:11:53.31\00:11:56.21 This is an exciting story. 00:11:56.24\00:11:57.58 One word, God has definitely had His hand 00:11:57.61\00:11:59.45 in the entire process. 00:11:59.48\00:12:01.25 While I was working up at summer camp, 00:12:01.28\00:12:02.62 someone told me that there had been a gentleman 00:12:02.65\00:12:05.52 who wanted to donate an airplane 00:12:05.55\00:12:06.89 to Thunderbird Academy, 00:12:06.92\00:12:08.26 but the educational superintendent 00:12:08.29\00:12:09.66 had turned it down because he says, 00:12:09.69\00:12:11.33 what are we going to do with an airplane? 00:12:11.36\00:12:12.99 And I, of course, heard about that. 00:12:13.03\00:12:14.36 And I started in aviation in high school, 00:12:14.40\00:12:17.13 went on to get my mechanics ratings, 00:12:17.17\00:12:19.00 flew down in the mission field, 00:12:19.03\00:12:20.64 and doing foreign missions and working on aircraft. 00:12:20.67\00:12:23.84 And after a few years ended up coming back 00:12:23.87\00:12:26.27 and working for the Arizona Conference, 00:12:26.31\00:12:27.98 got into Youth Ministries. 00:12:28.01\00:12:29.51 And one of the questions the president asked, he says, 00:12:29.54\00:12:31.98 will you be able to stay away from the airport? 00:12:32.01\00:12:33.95 Now that was a valid question, 00:12:33.98\00:12:35.32 because our office sits on short final 00:12:35.35\00:12:37.09 right at the end of this airport. 00:12:37.12\00:12:39.05 And I said, you know, I think I can, 00:12:39.09\00:12:40.92 I'll try really, really hard, I'll do my best. 00:12:40.96\00:12:43.32 And that lasted for about 9-10 years. 00:12:43.36\00:12:48.36 And when this story came about, 00:12:48.40\00:12:50.27 and I went to the educational superintendent, 00:12:50.30\00:12:51.63 I said, "Listen, 00:12:51.67\00:12:53.00 who donated the airplane and why did you turn it down?" 00:12:53.03\00:12:54.90 He says, "Well, what are we going to do 00:12:54.94\00:12:56.27 with an airplane?" 00:12:56.30\00:12:57.64 I said, "We'll start a flight school." 00:12:57.67\00:12:59.01 He said, "Well, I have no idea how to do that. 00:12:59.04\00:13:00.38 Is that something you could do?" 00:13:00.41\00:13:01.74 And I'm, you know, crazy enough. 00:13:01.78\00:13:03.11 I said, "Sure, let's start a flight school, 00:13:03.14\00:13:04.58 get Thunderbird Academy, 00:13:04.61\00:13:06.88 get our students back up in the air." 00:13:06.92\00:13:08.25 Because we've had a rich heritage in the past. 00:13:08.28\00:13:10.72 Many missionaries have come from Thunderbird Academy 00:13:10.75\00:13:13.79 in the field of aviation. 00:13:13.82\00:13:15.16 And so I said, you know, 00:13:15.19\00:13:16.52 we just start this back up again, 00:13:16.56\00:13:17.89 we need to give kids the desires of their hearts, 00:13:17.93\00:13:19.26 give them their wings, 00:13:19.29\00:13:20.63 but then let them use their talents for God. 00:13:20.66\00:13:22.03 So as I started on this process, 00:13:22.06\00:13:23.43 contacted Floyd Hanson who donated this airplane. 00:13:23.47\00:13:27.30 And I said, okay, now that we have the airplane, 00:13:27.34\00:13:30.37 how do we start a flight school 00:13:30.41\00:13:31.74 because we had this little glitch 00:13:31.77\00:13:33.11 called insurance. 00:13:33.14\00:13:34.48 And, you know, 00:13:34.51\00:13:35.84 without going into lots of details, 00:13:35.88\00:13:37.28 it just wasn't possible for us 00:13:37.31\00:13:38.65 to be able to own and operate this aircraft. 00:13:38.68\00:13:40.15 So I would lay awake at night for many hours, 00:13:40.18\00:13:42.88 and I would say, "God, 00:13:42.92\00:13:44.25 how are we going to start this flight school? 00:13:44.29\00:13:45.62 You brought us an $80,000 airplane, 00:13:45.65\00:13:47.29 how do we get the kids flying?" 00:13:47.32\00:13:48.92 And I tried different, lots of different options. 00:13:48.96\00:13:52.19 And about that time, 00:13:52.23\00:13:53.56 I was sitting in front of my house, 00:13:53.60\00:13:54.93 sitting in my jeep saying, 00:13:54.96\00:13:56.30 "God, what are we going to do?" 00:13:56.33\00:13:57.67 And all of a sudden, 00:13:57.70\00:13:59.03 I get a phone call from the president, 00:13:59.07\00:14:00.74 Rick Swanson, 00:14:00.77\00:14:02.10 president of Adventist World Aviation. 00:14:02.14\00:14:03.47 He said, "I hear you're starting a flight school 00:14:03.51\00:14:05.51 and I just wanted to let you know, 00:14:05.54\00:14:06.94 is there anything I can do to help?" 00:14:06.98\00:14:08.94 And that to me was a miracle. 00:14:08.98\00:14:10.58 And I jokingly said, 00:14:10.61\00:14:12.31 "Well, you could own our airplanes 00:14:12.35\00:14:13.68 and insure them for us." 00:14:13.72\00:14:15.05 And I had no idea where that would take us. 00:14:15.08\00:14:17.59 And here we are two and a half years later, 00:14:17.62\00:14:19.85 with a flourishing flight program. 00:14:19.89\00:14:21.56 We have two airplanes, we have a fuel truck. 00:14:21.59\00:14:23.93 We have a flight instructor, 00:14:23.96\00:14:25.69 and a beautiful relationship 00:14:25.73\00:14:27.20 where I'm the project development director 00:14:27.23\00:14:31.07 for Thunderbird Academy with Adventist World Aviation. 00:14:31.10\00:14:34.64 And the amazing thing is, 00:14:34.67\00:14:36.50 is if you were to go 00:14:36.54\00:14:37.87 get your pilot's license somewhere else, 00:14:37.91\00:14:39.24 you're going to be spending 00:14:39.27\00:14:40.61 anywhere between 10 to $15,000. 00:14:40.64\00:14:42.51 But with the type of aircraft we have, 00:14:42.54\00:14:44.25 if you do in our two-seater, 00:14:44.28\00:14:45.61 you can obtain your pilot's license 00:14:45.65\00:14:47.42 for 2500 or in the 172, 00:14:47.45\00:14:49.65 the four-seater for around approximately $4,000 00:14:49.68\00:14:52.75 and these numbers are, you know, a third to, 00:14:52.79\00:14:54.92 they're unheard of, you know. 00:14:54.96\00:14:56.29 And, you know, 00:14:56.32\00:14:57.66 one of the problems that we face today 00:14:57.69\00:14:59.03 is that aviation keeps getting more and more expensive, 00:14:59.06\00:15:01.40 you know, gas prices go up, insurance goes up, 00:15:01.43\00:15:03.63 the cost of parts go up. 00:15:03.67\00:15:06.10 And, you know, the abilities that our kids have 00:15:06.13\00:15:09.10 to be able to fly 00:15:09.14\00:15:10.84 have just shrunk so drastically 00:15:10.87\00:15:12.31 that it makes it almost impossible. 00:15:12.34\00:15:14.38 Well, you know, of course, 00:15:14.41\00:15:15.74 I'm a certified airplane mechanic 00:15:15.78\00:15:17.11 and I donate my services. 00:15:17.15\00:15:18.55 If the student comes to Thunderbird Academy, 00:15:18.58\00:15:20.62 well, they're already paying tuition 00:15:20.65\00:15:21.98 so they don't have to pay for the instructor 00:15:22.02\00:15:23.52 and so, that is gone. 00:15:23.55\00:15:24.89 And, of course, 00:15:24.92\00:15:26.25 with the donation of a fuel truck, 00:15:26.29\00:15:27.62 we're able to buy fuel at costs, 00:15:27.66\00:15:29.16 which enables us to get the airplane up in the air, 00:15:29.19\00:15:31.03 you know, that's the most expensive part, 00:15:31.06\00:15:32.39 putting gas in it. 00:15:32.43\00:15:33.76 You know, we've all been to the gas pump 00:15:33.80\00:15:35.13 and we know the gas has just gone crazy. 00:15:35.16\00:15:36.70 Well, aviation fuel is no different. 00:15:36.73\00:15:38.90 So God has blessed in many ways. 00:15:38.93\00:15:40.44 We have airplanes, we have fuel truck, 00:15:40.47\00:15:42.30 we have a flight instructor. 00:15:42.34\00:15:43.67 We have a beautiful relationship 00:15:43.71\00:15:45.04 with Adventist World Aviation. 00:15:45.07\00:15:46.41 And the exciting thing is, 00:15:46.44\00:15:47.78 is that once kids come to Academy, 00:15:47.81\00:15:50.21 Thunderbird Academy, 00:15:50.25\00:15:51.58 they are able to take on the desires of their heart. 00:15:51.61\00:15:54.45 And in the process, 00:15:54.48\00:15:55.82 we're able to turn them on to ways 00:15:55.85\00:15:57.19 that they can use their passions, 00:15:57.22\00:15:59.19 their hobbies for God and for ministry. 00:15:59.22\00:16:01.22 And what we hope to do through this 00:16:01.26\00:16:02.62 is we'll expose kids to foreign missions, 00:16:02.66\00:16:05.33 through short term mission trips, 00:16:05.36\00:16:06.70 let them see the airplanes in action in the mission field, 00:16:06.73\00:16:09.36 and be able to help them obtain all of their ratings up 00:16:09.40\00:16:11.83 through commercial 00:16:11.87\00:16:13.20 so that by the time they graduate, 00:16:13.23\00:16:14.57 not only will they have the ability to fly, 00:16:14.60\00:16:17.51 but they won't have the debt that a lot of our, 00:16:17.54\00:16:20.81 you know, expensive flight programs have, 00:16:20.84\00:16:22.61 they're able to go right straight 00:16:22.64\00:16:23.98 to the mission field and be able to fly. 00:16:24.01\00:16:26.31 When you say what is the future look like? 00:16:26.35\00:16:27.82 Well, hopefully lots of pilots head 00:16:27.85\00:16:29.32 to the mission field. 00:16:29.35\00:16:30.69 But also 00:16:30.72\00:16:32.05 one of the exciting things is that 00:16:32.09\00:16:33.42 we're looking at doing 00:16:33.46\00:16:34.79 is inviting Adventist World Aviation 00:16:34.82\00:16:36.16 onto the campus of Thunderbird in a more in... 00:16:36.19\00:16:40.33 I guess you could say in an intense way, 00:16:40.36\00:16:41.80 because we'd love to be able to build 00:16:41.83\00:16:43.16 a large hangar, 00:16:43.20\00:16:44.53 be able to provide housing for missionaries 00:16:44.57\00:16:45.90 through small apartments, 00:16:45.93\00:16:47.70 to be able to have a maintenance center 00:16:47.74\00:16:49.40 so that we can maintain the aircraft 00:16:49.44\00:16:50.87 to keep the cost down. 00:16:50.91\00:16:52.57 But when missionaries come back 00:16:52.61\00:16:53.94 to have their planes refurbished 00:16:53.98\00:16:55.31 just like the one behind us, they have a place to stay, 00:16:55.34\00:16:57.08 and at the same time be able to share stories 00:16:57.11\00:16:58.88 on the campus of Thunderbird 00:16:58.91\00:17:00.25 to get these students in excited, 00:17:00.28\00:17:02.22 energized and get them motivated 00:17:02.25\00:17:04.39 to go to the mission field. 00:17:04.42\00:17:06.32 Also through the process 00:17:06.35\00:17:07.69 of being able to have maintenance facilities 00:17:07.72\00:17:09.59 at Thunderbird Adventist Academy 00:17:09.62\00:17:10.96 will enable us to be able to have students 00:17:10.99\00:17:14.46 do an apprenticeship program underneath a mechanic. 00:17:14.50\00:17:16.70 So they could get a vocation as well. 00:17:16.73\00:17:18.77 Yes, by the time they graduate, 00:17:18.80\00:17:20.14 not only will they be able to receive 00:17:20.17\00:17:21.50 all their ratings, 00:17:21.54\00:17:22.87 but they will also be able to obtain, take, 00:17:22.90\00:17:25.21 go get their AMP certificate, 00:17:25.24\00:17:26.61 so they can actually work on their planes in the field. 00:17:26.64\00:17:29.41 So what we're hoping to do is be able to train pilots, 00:17:29.44\00:17:32.68 get on their certificates, 00:17:32.71\00:17:34.05 all the way through their commercial ratings, 00:17:34.08\00:17:35.42 be able to get them their AMP certificates 00:17:35.45\00:17:37.82 and one other exciting opportunity 00:17:37.85\00:17:39.62 that we have is we've also started 00:17:39.65\00:17:40.99 a CNA program at Thunderbird Academy 00:17:41.02\00:17:42.62 starting this year, 00:17:42.66\00:17:43.99 and they'll also be able to get 00:17:44.03\00:17:45.36 that medical training that they need. 00:17:45.39\00:17:46.73 So if we don't have nurses and doctors 00:17:46.76\00:17:48.30 that are able to attend to those needs, 00:17:48.33\00:17:49.66 they'll have some of the basic trainings 00:17:49.70\00:17:51.27 to be able to assist the pilots, 00:17:51.30\00:17:53.60 or I should say the people 00:17:53.64\00:17:54.97 that are already out there in the field 00:17:55.00\00:17:56.34 before they get them into the hospital. 00:17:56.37\00:17:57.71 So for me, I'm excited 00:17:57.74\00:17:59.07 because it's giving young people 00:17:59.11\00:18:01.28 their passions. 00:18:01.31\00:18:02.64 It's connecting them to ministry 00:18:02.68\00:18:04.08 and it's also spreading the gospel 00:18:04.11\00:18:05.55 through means of aviation, 00:18:05.58\00:18:08.12 and getting the gospel to go to the entire kingdom. 00:18:08.15\00:18:11.79 It doesn't take long before a generation tapers off. 00:18:11.82\00:18:16.06 And if we're not careful, 00:18:16.09\00:18:18.43 you know, the diminished capacity 00:18:18.46\00:18:19.89 of our church to be able to support 00:18:19.93\00:18:21.46 missionaries infrastructurally. 00:18:21.50\00:18:24.47 Not financially so much as infrastructurally, 00:18:24.50\00:18:26.37 we don't have that, it's going to go, 00:18:26.40\00:18:27.74 so we need to take a desperate interest 00:18:27.77\00:18:29.74 in our young people right now. 00:18:29.77\00:18:31.47 We need to take an interest in children, 00:18:31.51\00:18:34.18 learning how to fly, 00:18:34.21\00:18:35.68 and you know, 00:18:35.71\00:18:37.05 so Adventist World Aviation recognizes that 00:18:37.08\00:18:39.48 so we have schools, we have mission projects, 00:18:39.51\00:18:41.52 and we have the Great Commission before us, 00:18:41.55\00:18:43.79 "Go ye therefore into all the world, 00:18:43.82\00:18:45.82 teaching them about our Jesus Christ 00:18:45.85\00:18:47.76 because He is coming again." 00:18:47.79\00:18:50.83 AWA is blessed 00:18:50.86\00:18:52.26 with dedicated staff and instructors 00:18:52.29\00:18:54.50 to operate the Thunderbird Aviation Program. 00:18:54.53\00:18:57.67 It's clear to see 00:18:57.70\00:18:59.03 that the youth training program at Thunderbird 00:18:59.07\00:19:01.04 is making a big impact, 00:19:01.07\00:19:03.17 introducing young students to aviation 00:19:03.20\00:19:06.04 as part of AWA's growth and expansion 00:19:06.07\00:19:09.21 as they prepare for future mission pilots. 00:19:09.24\00:19:12.28 Students are more than excited for the opportunity 00:19:12.31\00:19:15.05 as they learn a useful skill that will change their future. 00:19:15.08\00:19:19.19 Adventist World Aviation realizes 00:19:19.22\00:19:21.66 the youth are the future of mission aviation. 00:19:21.69\00:19:24.49 Therefore, they are focused 00:19:24.53\00:19:26.13 on providing countless opportunities 00:19:26.16\00:19:28.06 to involve young people, 00:19:28.10\00:19:29.43 whether it be 00:19:29.46\00:19:30.80 a full two-year flight training program, 00:19:30.83\00:19:33.70 earning a Pathfinder honor 00:19:33.74\00:19:35.84 or working alongside an AWA mechanic, 00:19:35.87\00:19:39.21 Adventist World Aviation 00:19:39.24\00:19:40.74 wants kids involved in their work. 00:19:40.78\00:19:43.65 Thunderbird Academy flew a few of their students 00:19:43.68\00:19:46.65 from Phoenix to Oshkosh 00:19:46.68\00:19:49.02 to work with Adventist World Aviation 00:19:49.05\00:19:51.45 and promoting their aviation program. 00:19:51.49\00:19:54.29 These students work in the AWA tent 00:19:54.32\00:19:57.56 as they pass on their aviation knowledge 00:19:57.59\00:20:00.03 to their peers. 00:20:00.06\00:20:01.60 Thousands of young Pathfinders pass through the tent 00:20:01.63\00:20:04.57 and they are exposed and introduced 00:20:04.60\00:20:06.63 to the world of airplanes and flying. 00:20:06.67\00:20:09.27 The Thunderbird team is passionate 00:20:09.30\00:20:11.67 about sharing their knowledge 00:20:11.71\00:20:13.04 to their peers and inspiring thousands. 00:20:13.07\00:20:15.98 Adventist World Aviation is serious 00:20:16.01\00:20:18.55 about involving young people in aviation. 00:20:18.58\00:20:21.15 They aim to teach and inspire young students 00:20:21.18\00:20:24.65 to fall in love with the work of Mission Aviation. 00:20:24.69\00:20:28.26 Having training programs for youth 00:20:28.29\00:20:30.56 falls perfectly in line with the goals of AWA. 00:20:30.59\00:20:34.40 We're happy to have Derrick Heisey 00:20:34.43\00:20:36.43 on our team as our CFI, CFII, 00:20:36.46\00:20:39.33 clearly he is well qualified, 00:20:39.37\00:20:41.17 one of the best flight instructors I've met. 00:20:41.20\00:20:43.41 Derrick is working with us now. 00:20:43.44\00:20:46.51 One of the things that we want to accomplish 00:20:46.54\00:20:47.88 at our schools 00:20:47.91\00:20:49.24 is getting kids involved in the aviation early. 00:20:49.28\00:20:52.51 If they wait, you know, we want to encourage them 00:20:52.55\00:20:55.08 to go to places like Andrews University 00:20:55.12\00:20:58.15 and other universities that teach aviation 00:20:58.19\00:21:01.42 but the thing is 00:21:01.46\00:21:02.79 if we can get 00:21:02.82\00:21:04.16 their private pilot's license accomplished, 00:21:04.19\00:21:08.06 even their instrument rating, 00:21:08.10\00:21:09.73 and perhaps even possibly their commercial rating, 00:21:09.76\00:21:12.20 if we can get them to Andrews University 00:21:12.23\00:21:14.74 before they have those, 00:21:14.77\00:21:17.51 or after they have those ratings, 00:21:17.54\00:21:19.57 then the cost of education diminishes drastically. 00:21:19.61\00:21:23.04 They can focus upon their bachelor's degree, 00:21:23.08\00:21:25.05 maybe in theology or nursing or even get an AMP. 00:21:25.08\00:21:28.88 So there's exciting things that they can do 00:21:28.92\00:21:30.99 while they're there and reduce the debt load 00:21:31.02\00:21:33.22 because that's one of the things 00:21:33.25\00:21:34.96 that we're looking for is number one, 00:21:34.99\00:21:36.52 getting our young people interested in flying. 00:21:36.56\00:21:38.89 It's just an amazing opportunity. 00:21:38.93\00:21:40.53 As a young kid, 00:21:40.56\00:21:41.90 I always read these stories like Sabbath school 00:21:41.93\00:21:44.30 about missionaries traveling the world. 00:21:44.33\00:21:46.17 And I think that is an amazing opportunity 00:21:46.20\00:21:48.27 like knowing those particular sets of skills. 00:21:48.30\00:21:50.41 This is amazing opportunity, 00:21:50.44\00:21:51.84 like how many kids can say I graduated high school 00:21:51.87\00:21:55.04 with my private pilot's license? 00:21:55.08\00:21:56.75 You know, one of the really exciting things 00:21:56.78\00:21:58.61 about what we offer here 00:21:58.65\00:21:59.98 at Thunderbird Adventist Academy 00:22:00.02\00:22:01.35 through Adventist World Aviation 00:22:01.38\00:22:03.18 is exposure. 00:22:03.22\00:22:04.79 So many kids, as you grow up, myself included in that, 00:22:04.82\00:22:09.52 you go to the airport and you go on an airliner. 00:22:09.56\00:22:12.23 And you see the captain, 00:22:12.26\00:22:13.96 you see the first officer walking down 00:22:14.00\00:22:15.36 and you look up to them. 00:22:15.40\00:22:17.57 You watch movies or you walk around, 00:22:17.60\00:22:20.30 you see someone in a military outfit. 00:22:20.34\00:22:21.80 That's just what you see. 00:22:21.84\00:22:23.17 Those are the people that you're looking up to, 00:22:23.20\00:22:24.94 but we don't see those missionaries. 00:22:24.97\00:22:26.81 That's one of the wonderful things 00:22:26.84\00:22:28.18 about our partnership 00:22:28.21\00:22:29.54 with the Adventist World Aviation 00:22:29.58\00:22:30.91 and Thunderbird, 00:22:30.95\00:22:32.28 we're exposing people, we're exposing young adults 00:22:32.31\00:22:36.25 to missionaries into Mission Aviation. 00:22:36.28\00:22:38.65 And as people get exposed, 00:22:38.69\00:22:40.02 you saw how those dreams started to shift. 00:22:40.06\00:22:42.32 The Mission Aviation was not on their mind. 00:22:42.36\00:22:45.63 And as they were exposed to it 00:22:45.66\00:22:47.00 through Thunderbird Adventist Academy, 00:22:47.03\00:22:48.66 it became on their mind, 00:22:48.70\00:22:50.03 it became a passion of theirs 00:22:50.07\00:22:51.60 that forever will change the course of their life. 00:22:51.63\00:22:54.57 As you've gone through this year 00:22:54.60\00:22:57.04 in the aviation program, what... 00:22:57.07\00:23:01.41 Well, how have your dreams developed 00:23:01.44\00:23:03.85 on what you want to do 00:23:03.88\00:23:05.51 with flying in the aviation program 00:23:05.55\00:23:07.75 that you're receiving that Thunderbird? 00:23:07.78\00:23:09.78 All right, so as a kid, 00:23:09.82\00:23:11.15 I had no idea what I wanted to be 00:23:11.19\00:23:13.39 when I grew up, sorry. 00:23:13.42\00:23:14.86 And then when I entered this program, 00:23:14.89\00:23:16.32 like new windows opened in my life, 00:23:16.36\00:23:18.23 like so many opportunities, 00:23:18.26\00:23:20.86 like, just like revealed itself to me 00:23:20.90\00:23:23.23 like it could, it's life changing, 00:23:23.26\00:23:25.13 like you'd spread the gospel with this plane, 00:23:25.17\00:23:28.00 like, it's amazing. 00:23:28.04\00:23:30.21 I was thinking of going into the medical field 00:23:30.24\00:23:31.87 and then like right after 00:23:31.91\00:23:33.24 just like start being a missionary pilot, 00:23:33.27\00:23:34.64 which would be amazing, traveling the world, 00:23:34.68\00:23:36.58 doing the stuff you love and helping people 00:23:36.61\00:23:38.08 and spreading the word about God. 00:23:38.11\00:23:39.45 So yeah, this program has totally changed 00:23:39.48\00:23:41.35 the course of my life and my future, 00:23:41.38\00:23:42.95 so forever thankful. 00:23:42.98\00:23:45.02 As the week of Oshkosh Camporee comes to a close, 00:24:00.84\00:24:04.64 thousands of young minds learned of the art of flying. 00:24:04.67\00:24:09.01 As they visited the tent, 00:24:09.04\00:24:10.51 they were able to get hands-on experience, 00:24:10.55\00:24:13.18 but they were also once again 00:24:13.21\00:24:15.35 able to be a part 00:24:15.38\00:24:16.72 of putting the Mission Aviation plane 00:24:16.75\00:24:18.69 back into the field. 00:24:18.72\00:24:20.26 This year, 00:24:20.29\00:24:21.62 Pathfinder leaders pledged to donate 00:24:21.66\00:24:23.39 50% of the offering 00:24:23.43\00:24:25.23 to further the work of Mission Aviation. 00:24:25.26\00:24:28.40 As Sabbath came, 00:24:28.43\00:24:30.07 offering buckets were passed 00:24:30.10\00:24:31.73 into the hands of each Pathfinder. 00:24:31.77\00:24:34.17 Dollar after dollar was placed into the bucket. 00:24:34.20\00:24:37.17 After a week of learning about aviation, 00:24:37.21\00:24:40.01 the Pathfinders were once again excited 00:24:40.04\00:24:43.01 to be a part of putting their airplane 00:24:43.04\00:24:45.95 back into the field. 00:24:45.98\00:24:47.65 The funds collected from Oshkosh 00:24:47.68\00:24:49.48 were donated to the refurbishment 00:24:49.52\00:24:51.35 of this Pathfinder plane. 00:24:51.39\00:24:53.12 Pathfinder stepped up to the plate 00:24:53.15\00:24:55.42 and actively participated in making sure 00:24:55.46\00:24:58.19 that their airplane was able to return 00:24:58.23\00:25:01.06 to the mission field. 00:25:01.10\00:25:02.46 Now many people say, "Well, why don't you just go and buy 00:25:02.50\00:25:03.93 a brand-new airplane? 00:25:03.97\00:25:05.30 Wouldn't that be cheaper?" 00:25:05.33\00:25:06.67 Well, a new aircraft would cost 00:25:06.70\00:25:08.04 somewhere in the neighborhood of about $250,000 00:25:08.07\00:25:10.97 to purchase an aircraft that's equipped like this 00:25:11.01\00:25:14.18 and then add to the additional equipment 00:25:14.21\00:25:16.08 that we have on, 00:25:16.11\00:25:17.45 the equipment that we need to make it work, 00:25:17.48\00:25:19.18 we would probably dump in another 100,000 00:25:19.21\00:25:21.18 so we're well in excess of what we need. 00:25:21.22\00:25:23.59 We can refurbish this aircraft and make it even better 00:25:23.62\00:25:26.82 than it would come from the factory 00:25:26.86\00:25:28.49 with $110,000 from tip to tail. 00:25:28.52\00:25:30.96 And so we're asking the Pathfinders to join in 00:25:30.99\00:25:32.99 on just that. 00:25:33.03\00:25:34.66 After the Camporee aircraft November 81708, 00:25:34.70\00:25:39.33 the Pathfinder plane was flown back 00:25:39.37\00:25:41.77 to the AWA maintenance headquarters 00:25:41.80\00:25:44.37 to go through the refurbishment process. 00:25:44.41\00:25:47.48 Thanks to all the volunteers, 00:25:47.51\00:25:49.71 students and Pathfinder partners. 00:25:49.74\00:25:52.88 This airplane underwent a total transformation. 00:25:52.91\00:25:57.19 It was completely stripped down to its shell and being rebuilt. 00:25:57.22\00:26:01.89 So it can once again be returned 00:26:01.92\00:26:04.66 as a useful tool to God's mission field. 00:26:04.69\00:26:09.60 We want to just keep aviation at the front 00:26:09.63\00:26:13.40 because it is so important. 00:26:13.44\00:26:16.34 As you've heard me say a number of times, 00:26:16.37\00:26:19.61 that there are places in this whole world 00:26:19.64\00:26:22.34 where you can't go by a boat, 00:26:22.38\00:26:25.81 or you may take a boat 00:26:25.85\00:26:27.18 there take you many, many hours. 00:26:27.22\00:26:29.58 You can't walk, 00:26:29.62\00:26:30.95 there's not enough days in the week to walk. 00:26:30.99\00:26:33.32 And we're in the day 00:26:33.36\00:26:34.69 when aviation fills a great bill. 00:26:34.72\00:26:37.86 We've got to do the work of ministry 00:26:37.89\00:26:41.86 in a different way today 00:26:41.90\00:26:43.23 than it's been done in the past. 00:26:43.26\00:26:45.60 I'm speaking with 80 years behind me. 00:26:45.63\00:26:48.34 We've got to keep improving. 00:26:48.37\00:26:50.97 And one of those ways is for you and me 00:26:51.01\00:26:54.51 to get behind aviation ministry. 00:26:54.54\00:26:58.55 Whatever it takes, wherever we're doing it, 00:26:58.58\00:27:01.28 and do it to the best of our ability, 00:27:01.32\00:27:04.09 first quality, safety, 00:27:04.12\00:27:06.86 all of this employed in place and our pastors, 00:27:06.89\00:27:11.06 our teachers, our Bible instructors, 00:27:11.09\00:27:13.19 our doctors, our nurses 00:27:13.23\00:27:15.10 can get out and give the help where it's needed. 00:27:15.13\00:27:18.37 In some of those places, 00:27:18.40\00:27:19.73 we can only get there by airplanes, people. 00:27:19.77\00:27:22.70 So brothers and sisters, 00:27:22.74\00:27:24.41 you watching this film right now, 00:27:24.44\00:27:26.84 may I encourage you to please think seriously, 00:27:26.88\00:27:30.95 Jesus is coming. 00:27:30.98\00:27:32.78 And He's going to come soon. 00:27:32.81\00:27:34.68 And I want Him to come, the sooner the quicker. 00:27:34.72\00:27:37.69 Yes, I believe that. 00:27:37.72\00:27:39.62 And I want to take what little God has given me 00:27:39.65\00:27:42.52 and I want to give it to the finishing of the work 00:27:42.56\00:27:45.93 and aviation ministry has got a big place in my heart. 00:27:45.96\00:27:51.77 And there are a lot of young people 00:27:51.80\00:27:53.13 standing out here right now listening to me, 00:27:53.17\00:27:55.80 who'll be pilots tomorrow. 00:27:55.84\00:27:58.41 I want them to have the best training, 00:27:58.44\00:28:01.08 the best preparation 00:28:01.11\00:28:04.18 so that they can do God's work in the safest possible way. 00:28:04.21\00:28:09.42 Thank you for your support, your prayers, your dollars. 00:28:09.45\00:28:15.32 And you and I, some of you my age, 00:28:15.36\00:28:18.39 some of you a little older, some of you younger, 00:28:18.43\00:28:20.36 hey, let's get busy, seriously finish God's work, 00:28:20.40\00:28:25.30 as He would have us finish it. 00:28:25.33\00:28:27.40 And may God bless you. 00:28:27.44\00:28:28.77
