All of my medication. 00:03:20.56\00:03:22.82 When I first started out I was using five medications, 00:03:22.85\00:03:25.79 five high blood pressure medicines. 00:03:25.82\00:03:27.67 I'm in totally off now. 00:03:27.70\00:03:29.68 You were taking high blood meds-- high blood meds. 00:03:29.71\00:03:32.83 Yeah. Oh, good. 00:10:05.83\00:10:07.73 And we got the websites so we were pretty-- 00:10:07.76\00:10:11.62 my wife is pretty much at everything that lock down, 00:10:11.65\00:10:15.34 figured out what is she is gonna do. 00:10:15.37\00:10:17.57 She is-- she is the chef that's so in our house so. 00:10:17.60\00:10:20.95 So did Weimar's Newstart program meet your expectations? 00:10:20.98\00:10:26.05 Yeah, definitely. 00:10:26.08\00:10:28.45 And you'd recommend it? I would highly recommend it. 00:10:28.48\00:10:30.57 I-- we sent the friends who are almost 00:10:30.60\00:10:32.63 who on modern medicine gave up on 00:10:32.66\00:10:35.43 and their vibrant living brand new lives in Hilo. 00:10:35.46\00:10:40.84 You're a farmer. Yes. 00:10:40.87\00:10:43.98 Were you walking on the farm? 00:10:44.01\00:10:46.64 I thought I was but I kind of look back, 00:10:46.67\00:10:49.22 I think I was riding my-- 00:10:49.25\00:10:50.49 our ATVs and our tractors little bit of too many times. 00:10:50.52\00:10:55.03 Now, I think I got to do some more walk it on the farm 00:10:55.06\00:10:57.45 and instead of riding all machines there. 00:10:57.48\00:11:00.19 All you got to do is park those tractors 00:11:00.22\00:11:02.43 and ATVs about two miles away from the house. 00:11:02.46\00:11:06.43 And away from my child and house. 00:11:06.46\00:11:07.97 There you go. 00:11:08.00\00:11:09.25 Make me walk back and forth to my child. 00:11:09.28\00:11:13.45 So, David, will you-- 00:11:13.48\00:11:19.45 will you recommend the program 00:11:19.48\00:11:22.49 more or less since now you've been through it. 00:11:22.52\00:11:25.06 I think a lot more, 'cause I can really 00:11:25.09\00:11:26.99 actually give a personal account of how it helped me. 00:11:27.02\00:11:30.17 How was it that you recommended people you never been here? 00:11:30.20\00:11:34.46 I heard about Weimar, 00:11:34.49\00:11:36.77 we sent two friends that literally were gonna die. 00:11:36.80\00:11:40.01 The doctor modern medicine but I think because Weimar 00:11:40.04\00:11:44.86 its a change of a lifestyle, and unless we want to-- 00:11:44.89\00:11:47.92 unless I guess for us specially in Hawaii, 00:11:47.95\00:11:52.03 we got to be at that point in our lives 00:11:52.06\00:11:53.82 that we're willing to give up our lifestyle 00:11:53.85\00:11:56.46 or our lifestyle for a new lifestyle. 00:11:56.49\00:11:58.87 So they are so sick and tired of this shaking 00:11:58.90\00:12:01.35 all the side effects of the medical problems 00:12:01.38\00:12:03.68 that we're going to give up a lifestyle. 00:12:03.71\00:12:06.08 I think when we hit-- you know people hit that point, 00:12:06.11\00:12:08.67 that's where I think we all come over here 00:12:08.70\00:12:11.29 and say okay, I quit. 00:12:11.32\00:12:13.04 I'm willing to change, do anything, 00:12:13.07\00:12:15.65 vegan vegetarian no matter 00:12:15.68\00:12:17.08 what our preconceived idea of vegan vegetarian is 00:12:17.11\00:12:20.71 and we're willing to change 00:12:20.74\00:12:21.77 just for the betterment of our health. 00:12:21.80\00:12:24.22 David, thank you so much for joining us 00:12:24.25\00:12:27.21 and I'll be in touch with you. 00:12:27.24\00:12:28.61 I'll be following up. Okay. 00:12:28.64\00:12:30.14 In the weeks and months to come. 00:12:30.17\00:12:31.93 Yes, friends, don't go away, 00:12:31.96\00:12:33.62 we have a important message for you 00:12:33.65\00:12:36.03 followed by an interview with Doctor Ing, 00:12:36.06\00:12:38.97 our Newstart director. 00:12:39.00\00:12:40.91 Welcome back friends, and in our studio Dr. Ing. 00:13:13.83\00:13:16.91 It's a pleasure. 00:13:16.94\00:13:17.97 Yes, Dr. Ing, I'd like the viewers 00:13:18.00\00:13:20.99 to know little bit about you. 00:13:21.02\00:13:23.46 And we know that you're the-- 00:13:23.49\00:13:26.29 what is your personal title here? 00:13:26.32\00:13:28.03 Medical director of the Newstart program. 00:13:28.06\00:13:30.41 And you have boards in how many areas? 00:13:30.44\00:13:34.14 Two areas the Lord is blessed 00:13:34.17\00:13:35.89 and I've been privileged to have two residencies. 00:13:35.92\00:13:39.49 My first residency is an ophthalmology, 00:13:39.52\00:13:41.80 so I'm an eye surgeon. 00:13:41.83\00:13:43.66 And I've done lots-- lots of cataract surgery 00:13:43.69\00:13:46.93 and surgery for glaucoma's and even try to-- 00:13:46.96\00:13:50.77 I mean even help people get along 00:13:50.80\00:13:52.37 without glasses by doing refractive surgery. 00:13:52.40\00:13:55.03 So the Lord is blessed He's been-- 00:13:55.06\00:13:56.89 I've been privileged to do these things. 00:13:56.92\00:13:59.18 And the other residency 00:13:59.21\00:14:00.51 which I was encouraged to do by my hospital 00:14:00.54\00:14:03.41 when I was working in Singapore, 00:14:03.44\00:14:05.33 was a prevented medicine residency. 00:14:05.36\00:14:07.96 So I think finish both of these and thanks to Gods blessing, 00:14:07.99\00:14:12.61 when I take the board exams He helped me pass 00:14:12.64\00:14:15.15 so I give Him the honor, the glory and the credit. 00:14:15.18\00:14:18.01 It has been a real blessing to use these 00:14:18.04\00:14:20.69 to help people learn how to live more healthfully 00:14:20.72\00:14:24.69 and to help them to see physically 00:14:24.72\00:14:27.49 and even more exiting as we work 00:14:27.52\00:14:29.56 in the area of lifestyle medicine, 00:14:29.59\00:14:31.39 to help them gain spiritual insides as well. 00:14:31.42\00:14:35.13 Well, said. 00:14:35.16\00:14:36.48 You know, I know you have a masters in public health. 00:14:36.51\00:14:39.76 Did you get that here 00:14:39.79\00:14:41.21 state side or was it in the east? 00:14:41.24\00:14:44.64 Oh, that was state side. 00:14:44.67\00:14:45.72 That was part of my prevented medicine residency. 00:14:45.75\00:14:48.60 So my wife and I came back from Singapore 00:14:48.63\00:14:52.36 and we've started our masters in public health 00:14:52.39\00:14:55.26 and we wanted this to be in the area of nutrition 00:14:55.29\00:14:58.21 because one of the keystones of healthful living 00:14:58.24\00:15:00.53 is the food that you eat. 00:15:00.56\00:15:02.19 So we wanted to learn about this, 00:15:02.22\00:15:04.17 and to understand this so that if people ask questions 00:15:04.20\00:15:08.51 we would be able to answer them 00:15:08.54\00:15:10.24 and give them the correct answer. 00:15:10.27\00:15:11.86 There's so much information available on the internet 00:15:11.89\00:15:16.20 and in the media but not all of it is true. 00:15:16.23\00:15:20.07 Did they able to sort out what is true 00:15:20.10\00:15:22.43 from what is not true is really important. 00:15:22.46\00:15:25.23 And the other wonderful thing about this 00:15:25.26\00:15:26.92 we had wonderful teachers and instructors 00:15:26.95\00:15:29.68 so that if we would have questions 00:15:29.71\00:15:31.94 which even though we knew the answers 00:15:31.97\00:15:34.94 it was advisable than to 00:15:34.97\00:15:37.26 getting more authoritative source, 00:15:37.29\00:15:39.01 so we would ask our teachers and they would respond 00:15:39.04\00:15:41.30 and they were very gracious and kind in this way. 00:15:41.33\00:15:44.27 So the Lord has blessed, it's been a real exciting 00:15:44.30\00:15:47.52 and wonderful journey, working together with Him 00:15:47.55\00:15:50.98 and with our staff here at Weimar 00:15:51.01\00:15:54.07 and helping people learn how to live more healthfully. 00:15:54.10\00:15:57.28 You know, you now told me why you are so gracious 00:15:57.31\00:16:01.21 and willing to call people at 10-11 at night. 00:16:01.24\00:16:05.06 Because when we first spoke some 10 years ago, 00:16:05.09\00:16:08.70 you called me back because I made a call 00:16:08.73\00:16:10.85 to Newstart to Weimar and they said 00:16:10.88\00:16:14.02 well, the doctor will call you later this evening. 00:16:14.05\00:16:16.33 I think you called me about 10-10.30 00:16:16.36\00:16:18.97 and you spent a long time on the phone. 00:16:19.00\00:16:21.55 And now I know where you got that. 00:16:21.58\00:16:23.77 Well, yes, in fact even last night 00:16:23.80\00:16:27.90 I was talking to someone who has some interest in. 00:16:27.93\00:16:30.65 I didn't make my call to stop my calls well after 10. 00:16:30.68\00:16:34.12 I figured this would be okay 'cause it was a physician 00:16:34.15\00:16:38.44 and we talked like for half an hour. 00:16:38.47\00:16:41.17 But he was interested in what we do here 00:16:41.20\00:16:43.28 at Weimar in the Newstart program 00:16:43.31\00:16:45.58 and so we had nice visit. 00:16:45.61\00:16:47.51 Now I wanted to ask you-- sure the viewers are curious, 00:16:47.54\00:16:52.01 was it a difficult transition and my mind as a layperson 00:16:52.04\00:16:57.21 to go from what we call an eye doctor 00:16:57.24\00:17:00.78 into being a regular N.D. type doctor. 00:17:00.81\00:17:04.65 I mean where's-- how do you do that? 00:17:04.68\00:17:07.26 Well, not really because working 00:17:07.29\00:17:09.08 as a missionary overseas 00:17:09.11\00:17:11.24 we have to see general medical patients which 00:17:11.27\00:17:14.08 and we have to be on call in the hospital 00:17:14.11\00:17:16.69 to take emergency call. 00:17:16.72\00:17:18.47 And so we would get patients 00:17:18.50\00:17:19.85 that would come in with all kinds of regular problems. 00:17:19.88\00:17:23.62 You know headaches, vomiting, soar throat, 00:17:23.65\00:17:26.09 even what we call upper GI, bleeding, 00:17:26.12\00:17:29.71 you know vomiting blood and things like this. 00:17:29.74\00:17:32.62 And so we would have to see them 00:17:32.65\00:17:34.60 and recognize what's their needs were 00:17:34.63\00:17:37.62 and admit them and take care of them. 00:17:37.65\00:17:40.32 But after I done this just for a little bit of time, 00:17:40.35\00:17:42.74 I would still go ahead and admit them 00:17:42.77\00:17:44.94 but I would then refer them to the appropriate specialist. 00:17:44.97\00:17:48.50 So rather than me taking care of someone 00:17:48.53\00:17:51.30 who has the gastrointestinal bleeding which-- 00:17:51.33\00:17:55.59 its much better for me and for that type of patient 00:17:55.62\00:17:57.59 who were surgeons. 00:17:57.62\00:17:58.67 So the hospital agreed that that was wise and prudent 00:17:58.70\00:18:01.01 and it worked fine. 00:18:01.04\00:18:03.07 But so they-- that way you keep in touch 00:18:03.10\00:18:04.93 with general medicine 00:18:04.96\00:18:06.36 and then the transition to what we now call lifestyle medicine 00:18:06.39\00:18:09.85 where we work helping people change their lifestyle. 00:18:09.88\00:18:13.85 Because this is really exciting especially 00:18:13.88\00:18:16.34 working with people with diabetes 00:18:16.37\00:18:18.54 as you recognize from working with Newstart 00:18:18.57\00:18:21.92 40 percent of the individuals with type 2 diabetes 00:18:21.95\00:18:26.08 if they will follow the guidelines 00:18:26.11\00:18:27.95 that we give them can have normal blood sugars 00:18:27.98\00:18:31.87 without use of any medication 00:18:31.90\00:18:34.30 and out this 60 percent is still need to use medication. 00:18:34.33\00:18:38.55 We can get better control with less medication. 00:18:38.58\00:18:40.96 People are really excited about that 00:18:40.99\00:18:42.69 because you know many times they have been told 00:18:42.72\00:18:46.30 here's your prescribe for medicine 00:18:46.33\00:18:48.06 take it this is the rest of your life. 00:18:48.09\00:18:49.42 Oh, sure right, they told me that. 00:18:49.45\00:18:52.02 But there's a problem with something called 00:18:52.05\00:18:53.52 the insulin resistance 00:18:53.55\00:18:54.65 and when we address that problem of insulin resistance 00:18:54.68\00:18:57.98 we find out that many people can abide 00:18:58.01\00:19:00.59 with much less medication. 00:19:00.62\00:19:02.52 So we hope our listeners will want to come 00:19:02.55\00:19:04.35 to one of our reversing diabetes programs. 00:19:04.38\00:19:06.84 Well, I hope so and of course that's one of the ways 00:19:06.87\00:19:11.21 we communicate to our listeners 00:19:11.24\00:19:14.06 is through our stations that we broadcast through. 00:19:14.09\00:19:18.08 Hopefully that will help thousands of people. 00:19:18.11\00:19:22.69 Some people will come to the Newstart program 00:19:22.72\00:19:25.00 as you know others may go to other lifestyles centers. 00:19:25.03\00:19:29.90 Now, about David I wanted to just briefly touch on him. 00:19:29.93\00:19:33.64 He told us in an interview 00:19:33.67\00:19:35.10 he was off five blood pressure meds, 00:19:35.13\00:19:38.61 and there's blood pressure kind of stabilized for a little bit 00:19:38.64\00:19:42.25 but gradually went up. 00:19:42.28\00:19:44.46 He has a white coat syndrome did that have anything to do 00:19:44.49\00:19:49.83 with his elevated blood pressure? 00:19:49.86\00:19:53.34 Its certainly could, we worked with him 00:19:53.37\00:19:56.00 and trying to help him get his blood pressure down 00:19:56.03\00:20:00.15 and he tried getting along without medication. 00:20:00.18\00:20:03.81 And it was much higher than either of us 00:20:03.84\00:20:07.26 were comfortable with. 00:20:07.29\00:20:08.82 So what was really exciting is that, 00:20:08.85\00:20:12.06 finally when he started the medications 00:20:12.09\00:20:16.28 that he was using one of them 00:20:16.31\00:20:18.04 he was able to control his blood pressure 00:20:18.07\00:20:19.53 with one medication without the side effects that he had. 00:20:19.56\00:20:23.34 And he felt good, no side effects 00:20:23.37\00:20:26.37 and we had to control medications 00:20:26.40\00:20:27.91 which we weren't able to do before. 00:20:27.94\00:20:29.92 So he did make very definite improvement because of this. 00:20:29.95\00:20:33.27 Excellent. Dr. Ing, I want to thank you. 00:20:33.30\00:20:36.14 You are so gracious to take your time, 00:20:36.17\00:20:38.94 I know we have a session in right now 00:20:38.97\00:20:41.70 and you are a busy man and I want to thank you 00:20:41.73\00:20:44.08 for coming up and visiting with us. 00:20:44.11\00:20:46.50 I'll see you again very soon. Thank you. 00:20:46.53\00:20:49.09 And friends, don't go away because up next Michelle Irwin, 00:20:49.12\00:20:53.37 will be with us for a short cooking demonstration 00:20:53.40\00:20:56.78 and then, Dr. David DeRose will join us 00:20:56.81\00:21:00.23 with the little information on addictive foods. 00:21:00.26\00:21:04.54 I will teach you how to make a stuffed baked potato 00:21:11.37\00:21:13.93 that's absolutely delicious and so nutritious. 00:21:13.96\00:21:17.31 We're gonna start with the yellow, gold, 00:21:17.34\00:21:19.44 Yukon Gold potatoes. 00:21:19.47\00:21:20.51 It's always better to go with a color potato versus 00:21:20.54\00:21:23.49 just a raw sweet potato, 00:21:23.52\00:21:24.55 'cause it's gonna be a lot lower in glycemic index 00:21:24.58\00:21:27.81 and it's gonna have more nutrition. 00:21:27.84\00:21:29.58 We're gonna top it of with some black olives 00:21:29.61\00:21:31.86 which are really good, saturated fat. 00:21:31.89\00:21:34.35 We're gonna add some steamed broccoli 00:21:34.38\00:21:36.86 which is really high, anticancerigeno, 00:21:36.89\00:21:39.91 its really high use for us and those are the things 00:21:39.94\00:21:41.89 that you want to add to your diet. 00:21:41.92\00:21:43.89 We're gonna add some tomato 00:21:43.92\00:21:45.51 and that's really good source of lycopene and vitamin C. 00:21:45.54\00:21:48.89 And I'm gonna out some white cheese sauce on here 00:21:48.92\00:21:51.41 and you can find this dairy free 00:21:51.44\00:21:53.00 cheese sauce on our website. 00:21:53.03\00:21:54.86 Its all plant based. 00:21:54.89\00:21:56.24 And I'm also gonna top it out with 00:21:56.27\00:21:57.74 one of our dairy free plant based, 00:21:57.77\00:22:00.55 sour cream entire recipes. 00:22:00.58\00:22:02.80 I'm also gonna put a little bit of cucumber 00:22:02.83\00:22:04.63 which is optional and some green onions. 00:22:04.66\00:22:06.82 This is optional, but you're gonna see 00:22:06.85\00:22:08.23 how beautiful this recipe is and nutritious it is. 00:22:08.26\00:22:11.49 Okay, so I'm just gonna go ahead 00:22:11.52\00:22:12.59 and cut some of my cucumber here, 00:22:12.62\00:22:17.72 and I like to use this cucumbers 00:22:17.75\00:22:19.98 these are hothouse cucumbers and you can see 00:22:20.01\00:22:22.90 they don't have a lot seeds in them 00:22:22.93\00:22:25.06 but cucumbers are really healthy for your diets. 00:22:25.09\00:22:28.23 There-- they're actually a fruit by the way 00:22:28.26\00:22:31.71 because they have seeds. 00:22:31.74\00:22:32.79 I'm just gonna chop some of these up slices. 00:22:32.82\00:22:35.52 And you don't need that many 00:22:35.55\00:22:36.58 because we're just gonna top it of on our baked potato. 00:22:36.61\00:22:39.95 I'm gonna add some green onions too. 00:22:39.98\00:22:41.83 The way you do a green onion 00:22:41.86\00:22:43.25 is I like to take the tops of them, 00:22:43.28\00:22:45.78 because I don't want to have any other wilted. 00:22:45.81\00:22:49.02 When they get dry or when they stay 00:22:49.05\00:22:50.37 on the shelf sometimes they get a little wilt like that, 00:22:50.40\00:22:52.92 and then I'm gonna reline up again 00:22:52.95\00:22:54.61 and I'm gonna take these little roots off. 00:22:54.64\00:22:58.47 And then we're just gonna go head 00:22:58.50\00:23:00.19 and line the green ends back up again, 00:23:00.22\00:23:02.03 and I'm just gonna cut them into little circles. 00:23:02.06\00:23:07.11 And you don't need that many. 00:23:07.14\00:23:08.32 You can use the white part of that green onion too 00:23:08.35\00:23:10.42 but I like the green. 00:23:10.45\00:23:11.64 And now what I want to do is, 00:23:11.67\00:23:12.70 I'm just gonna go ahead and assemble some things, 00:23:12.73\00:23:15.00 cut my potato, 00:23:15.03\00:23:17.99 and I have to cut in for as here. 00:23:18.02\00:23:21.40 We'll add some of our broccoli... 00:23:21.43\00:23:24.24 and this is a wonderful meal. 00:23:27.74\00:23:29.17 I mean, really its so filling 00:23:29.20\00:23:33.67 and then we'll add some of our black olives, 00:23:33.70\00:23:37.93 few of my cucumber here to get some nice texture. 00:23:37.96\00:23:42.37 And then I will go ahead cut this tomato too. 00:23:42.40\00:23:47.17 Tomatoes aren't seasoned right now 00:23:47.20\00:23:48.46 where I live in California and there's so delicious. 00:23:48.49\00:23:52.14 Sometimes you get the stored 00:23:52.17\00:23:53.31 and it's like they are just not every good. 00:23:53.34\00:23:55.50 So when you can use fresh, home grown tomatoes do it. 00:23:55.53\00:23:59.60 It's worked the flavor and of course 00:23:59.63\00:24:01.91 it's so much better than 00:24:01.94\00:24:03.16 what you can buy in the groceries store. 00:24:03.19\00:24:06.34 I'll add these tomatoes to our dish. 00:24:06.37\00:24:09.13 And then I will just add some of my cheese sauce here. 00:24:12.40\00:24:15.17 And this is better than anything 00:24:19.44\00:24:20.69 you can get in any restaurant I'm telling you. 00:24:20.72\00:24:23.68 And well, add a little garlic of our sour cream. 00:24:23.71\00:24:28.06 Top it off with some of our green onion 00:24:28.09\00:24:31.56 and there you have a simple quick 00:24:31.59\00:24:33.90 and easy nutritious potato with lots of love. 00:24:33.93\00:24:38.81 Welcome to Ask the Doctor. I'm Dr. David DeRose. 00:24:44.41\00:24:47.00 We're taking your questions today 00:24:47.03\00:24:48.79 and we're going right to a question from Minnesota, 00:24:48.82\00:24:51.55 it's from Jonathan. 00:24:51.58\00:24:52.88 And Jonathan asks, is it true 00:24:52.91\00:24:55.84 that certain foods are addictive? 00:24:55.87\00:24:58.92 If so what kinds? 00:24:58.95\00:25:01.69 It's a great question Jonathan, and it's not a simple question 00:25:01.72\00:25:05.83 because many people as I've worked with them 00:25:05.86\00:25:08.37 over the years with both the background 00:25:08.40\00:25:09.99 in internal medicine and preventive medicine. 00:25:10.02\00:25:12.46 I've gone on this journey with multiple individuals 00:25:12.49\00:25:15.49 helping them change their lifestyle. 00:25:15.52\00:25:17.39 And what one person would define as an addictive food 00:25:17.42\00:25:20.31 for someone else is not a problem at all. 00:25:20.34\00:25:22.19 Let me give you some examples, 00:25:22.22\00:25:23.53 many of my patience over the years have said 00:25:23.56\00:25:25.40 they an addictive relationship with ice cream. 00:25:25.43\00:25:28.55 Other have labeled chocolate as an addictive food. 00:25:28.58\00:25:32.60 Other have said you know what 00:25:32.63\00:25:33.95 I simply cannot control my consumption of chips. 00:25:33.98\00:25:38.30 Here's is the basic point I want to make for you. 00:25:38.33\00:25:40.81 If you are having trouble controlling 00:25:40.84\00:25:43.09 your consumption of a certain food, 00:25:43.12\00:25:45.01 why don't we label that a frank addiction or not, 00:25:45.04\00:25:47.97 you have an issue with that food 00:25:48.00\00:25:50.61 and actually in my experience the safest course to take 00:25:50.64\00:25:53.88 is making a clean break with that item. 00:25:53.91\00:25:57.24 And that may sound very-- may sound very difficult. 00:25:57.27\00:26:00.73 You say look at, of course I got 00:26:00.76\00:26:02.49 an addictive relationship with chocolate. 00:26:02.52\00:26:04.27 I'm eating four pounds a day 00:26:04.30\00:26:05.89 and you want me to make clean break. 00:26:05.92\00:26:07.48 What about just eating one Snickers bar a week? 00:26:07.51\00:26:10.35 The problem with the cutting down method 00:26:10.38\00:26:13.38 is that if you really have a problem, 00:26:13.41\00:26:15.95 an addictive relationship with the food cutting back 00:26:15.98\00:26:19.56 actually can merely be slow torture. 00:26:19.59\00:26:22.43 You never develop new enjoyments, 00:26:22.46\00:26:24.35 you never develop new habits. 00:26:24.38\00:26:26.29 If you make a clean break with the food 00:26:26.32\00:26:28.21 that's causing you a problems, 00:26:28.24\00:26:29.44 you can free yourself to develop 00:26:29.47\00:26:31.75 those new enjoyments, develop new habits 00:26:31.78\00:26:34.27 and go on with a healthy and happy life. 00:26:34.30\00:26:37.52 People that I've said who tried to be 00:26:37.55\00:26:39.47 on the very limited regiment. 00:26:39.50\00:26:42.23 Yeah, sure there's that occasional person 00:26:42.26\00:26:44.26 who can satisfied with a half of chocolate kiss 00:26:44.29\00:26:47.86 after every meal. 00:26:47.89\00:26:49.19 But most people they have got problems with chocolate, 00:26:49.22\00:26:51.71 clean break the best strategy, 00:26:51.74\00:26:53.39 whether you call it an addiction or not 00:26:53.42\00:26:55.06 the success lies in the cutting those chords 00:26:55.09\00:26:58.33 that are tying you to those things 00:26:58.36\00:26:59.81 that are holding you back from optimal health. 00:26:59.84\00:27:03.13 You are killing me. 00:27:03.16\00:27:04.51 You are killing me. 00:27:07.69\00:27:09.37 Actually dad, you are killing yourself. 00:27:09.40\00:27:11.56 With the only program scientifically proven 00:27:14.05\00:27:16.25 to prolong life by 10 years 00:27:16.28\00:27:18.15 the Newstart Lifestyle Program can significantly decrease 00:27:18.18\00:27:21.16 the risk of disease including diabetes. 00:27:21.19\00:27:23.82 Done with that?
