I got to have a piece of pie. 00:06:04.17\00:06:07.08 I got to have sugar, I got to have this, 00:06:07.11\00:06:08.69 that, the other things." 00:06:08.72\00:06:09.94 And you just confessed that you don't need to do that. 00:06:09.97\00:06:13.43 No, I don't-- I don't need. 00:06:13.46\00:06:14.52 Well, how do you change? 00:07:42.42\00:07:44.57 Oh, everybody has been superb, good student relationship. 00:07:44.60\00:07:50.03 I've met a lot of really nice people. 00:07:50.06\00:07:51.92 Everybody on staff has been terrific 00:07:51.95\00:07:54.39 and the doctors have been out of sight, 00:07:54.42\00:07:56.95 they'd really go out of their way 00:07:56.98\00:07:59.66 to make you feel comfortable. 00:07:59.69\00:08:01.32 Now, you'd say student relationship. 00:08:01.35\00:08:06.63 I'd like everyone to know that we have a college here 00:08:06.66\00:08:10.28 and a high school and I think once a while 00:08:10.31\00:08:12.48 we have a little junior kind of school, 00:08:12.51\00:08:17.09 but you get to mix in with all these young folks 00:08:17.12\00:08:21.37 and they kind of help out in a program here and there. 00:08:21.40\00:08:25.40 Well, a lot of them were-- 00:08:25.43\00:08:27.03 instructors were much younger than I. 00:08:27.06\00:08:28.76 Yes. 00:08:28.79\00:08:29.82 And they were all very professional 00:08:29.85\00:08:31.84 and very helpful and very kind. 00:08:31.87\00:08:34.12 Now what about food, how'd you like the food? 00:08:34.15\00:08:38.28 Oh, there were some foods that I could leave 00:08:38.31\00:08:40.84 but 98% of the food were wonderful 00:08:40.87\00:08:43.83 and will be learning 00:08:43.86\00:08:47.20 how to prepare those foods with myself. 00:08:47.23\00:08:49.03 Yes. 00:08:49.06\00:08:50.43 I've learned up to a certain degree 00:08:50.46\00:08:51.98 but I have a lot of practice a head. 00:08:52.01\00:08:54.65 We broke away for lunch during our interviews today 00:08:54.68\00:08:59.52 and Rich, myself, my wife, 00:08:59.55\00:09:02.03 and another friend had delicious vegan soups. 00:09:02.06\00:09:05.40 We had a salad, bread, and she made a salmon, 00:09:05.43\00:09:10.71 isn't really salmon but it taste likes salmon 00:09:10.74\00:09:14.49 and it was absolutely delightful 00:09:14.52\00:09:17.54 and I can't imagine eating any other way. 00:09:17.57\00:09:22.02 Well, it's a big change in my life. 00:09:22.05\00:09:24.99 My wife's a cecilian 00:09:25.02\00:09:26.87 and she cooks of the Mediterranean style, 00:09:26.90\00:09:29.31 so I think when we're gonna be able to adapt. 00:09:29.34\00:09:32.21 Well, I'm half-cecilian, so I understand. 00:09:32.24\00:09:35.16 They use a lot of oil, a lot of fat. 00:09:35.19\00:09:38.04 So she's gonna have to scale back on that. 00:09:38.07\00:09:41.52 Yeah. 00:09:41.55\00:09:43.03 What about anything else 00:09:43.06\00:09:44.34 that you experienced while you were here, 00:09:44.37\00:09:47.92 that you want to share? And. 00:13:26.17\00:13:28.10 And lifestyle diseases are not existent over there. 00:13:28.13\00:13:32.47 Is that a fact? 00:13:32.50\00:13:33.55 Yeah, in 15 years I saw only saw 00:13:33.58\00:13:35.78 two people with a heart attack. 00:13:35.81\00:13:37.69 I was working amongst the African nationals, 00:13:37.72\00:13:41.28 in the countries and their diet is so different 00:13:41.31\00:13:44.42 and their exercise is beyond beliefs so. 00:13:44.45\00:13:46.85 So that is a good subway into 00:13:46.88\00:13:50.42 what we're gonna be talking about here. 00:13:50.45\00:13:51.70 Yeah, I do. 00:13:51.73\00:13:52.76 Diet and exercise, which I like to refer to is lifestyle 00:13:52.79\00:13:57.54 because in my new lifestyle, in Skip's new lifestyle, 00:13:57.57\00:14:02.58 it's about diet and exercise, 00:14:02.61\00:14:05.12 which we call a certain, tell us about this? 00:14:05.15\00:14:09.56 Well, you know for him, he-- 00:14:09.59\00:14:13.28 he didn't mention that he's an airline pilot. 00:14:13.31\00:14:15.12 Yes. 00:14:15.15\00:14:16.20 And at-- you know when you-- 00:14:16.23\00:14:19.01 one day you're physically fit and you are ready to go. 00:14:19.04\00:14:23.71 You can do all this kind of stuff 00:14:23.74\00:14:25.56 and then 24 hours later, you are not physically fit. 00:14:25.59\00:14:28.41 You are not-- you know they've changed 00:14:28.44\00:14:30.27 that now, I think they given 00:14:30.30\00:14:31.39 over an extra may be five years and so forth. 00:14:31.42\00:14:34.96 But you know that kind of a schedule 00:14:34.99\00:14:39.29 and you know airport food. 00:14:39.32\00:14:41.89 Oh, boy. 00:14:41.92\00:14:44.31 I don't think there is a fast food company 00:14:44.34\00:14:46.38 that doesn't like the airports 00:14:46.41\00:14:49.20 and so you know eating that kind of stuff 00:14:49.23\00:14:50.90 and he didn't know, he didn't know about diets 00:14:50.93\00:14:53.33 and that kind of stuff and in the stress and so forth. 00:14:53.36\00:14:57.63 He is such that-- you can tell, 00:14:57.66\00:14:58.89 he such a very nice gentlemen, 00:14:58.92\00:15:01.53 if I-- if I was you know seeing him 00:15:01.56\00:15:06.89 come down the corridor, he's got the four of stripes 00:15:06.92\00:15:09.45 that's the Skipper, I'd say. 00:15:09.48\00:15:10.70 Yeah. And so forth and eventually. 00:16:23.62\00:16:26.49 You're not talking about us here, you don't do that? 00:16:26.52\00:16:30.12 No, but that's what the doctor would have to do. 00:16:30.15\00:16:32.39 In the outside world. 00:16:32.42\00:16:34.88 Yeah, right. 00:16:34.91\00:16:36.53 To get his cholesterol numbers down 00:16:36.56\00:16:38.41 to where they're supposed to be and. 00:16:38.44\00:16:40.56 But they weren't where they were supposed to be?
