Yeah. 00:13:32.83\00:13:34.19 It's such a pleasure. 00:13:34.22\00:13:35.52 We see people come here and go through the program. 00:13:35.55\00:13:39.26 You know, there are some viewers 00:13:39.29\00:13:40.54 that will see us every week 00:13:40.57\00:13:42.78 and they see us over and over and they go, 00:13:42.81\00:13:45.04 "Wow, does this really happen and does that?" 00:13:45.07\00:13:47.90 well, of course, it does. 00:13:47.93\00:13:49.95 That's why we're all here doing it. 00:13:49.98\00:13:51.93 Yeah. That's exactly right. 00:13:51.96\00:13:53.73 Let's talk about this lady. 00:13:53.76\00:13:56.20 And-- Marilyn? 00:13:56.23\00:13:58.36 Marilyn, yes. 00:13:58.39\00:13:59.61 People have seen here on television 00:13:59.64\00:14:01.41 for many years, decades. 00:14:01.44\00:14:03.98 Many, many. That's right. 00:14:04.01\00:14:05.73 And so some of our viewers are saying, 00:14:05.76\00:14:08.63 "Isn't that what's her name?" 00:14:08.66\00:14:11.50 Yeah, that's what-- That's, what's her name? 00:14:11.53\00:14:12.95 Yeah. 00:14:12.98\00:14:14.01 It was thrilling to hear her sing again. 00:14:14.04\00:14:17.19 And she plays the piano so beautifully 00:14:17.22\00:14:18.98 when she sings as well. 00:14:19.01\00:14:20.17 Absolutely. 00:14:20.20\00:14:21.34 Now she tells me that she had a problem 00:14:21.37\00:14:24.50 or all of a sudden she was reaching for the notes 00:14:24.53\00:14:28.16 and couldn't quite hit the right chord. 00:14:28.19\00:14:31.19 So she was developing neuropathy. 00:14:31.22\00:14:33.69 Exactly. In her hands. 00:14:33.72\00:14:36.49 What's the prognosis for people watching right now 00:14:36.52\00:14:41.07 that not only have-- the neuropathy in their feet 00:14:41.10\00:14:44.69 but in their hands? 00:14:44.72\00:14:46.73 Well, you know, I'm glad that I've been here 25years 00:14:46.76\00:14:49.21 that's not a plug for me but you see a lot of things 00:14:49.24\00:14:52.44 and I'm not a brilliant person but I am an observer. 00:14:52.47\00:14:55.98 And I had a guy probably 20 years ago, 00:14:56.01\00:14:59.31 he was having the same thing in his hands 00:14:59.34\00:15:02.14 and he couldn't hold a pen, 00:15:02.17\00:15:04.19 pencil anymore, he couldn't write. 00:15:04.22\00:15:06.72 And he came back several times and he says, 00:15:06.75\00:15:09.16 "Well, it's getting a little bit better and so forth." 00:15:09.19\00:15:11.60 So after a period of about six months, 00:15:11.63\00:15:14.74 six to nine months, he said, "I'm so much back to normal, 00:15:14.77\00:15:19.86 it's just occasionally I get a little bit of a twinge." 00:15:19.89\00:15:24.39 That isn't in the literature but we have published in 00:15:24.42\00:15:27.48 like clinical nutrition and stuff like that. 00:15:27.51\00:15:29.87 And it is reversible and those are 00:15:29.90\00:15:32.19 some of the happiest people that you ever see 00:15:32.22\00:15:34.15 'cause they don't get a good night sleep 00:15:34.18\00:15:35.96 and they are on all the medications. 00:15:35.99\00:15:37.48 And the doctors, you know, they just say, 00:15:37.51\00:15:39.75 well-- You know, I'm not putting down on it 00:15:39.78\00:15:41.79 but I mean it's just that-- 00:15:41.82\00:15:43.26 How many of the doctors that are diabetologist 00:15:43.29\00:15:46.67 and endocrinologist. 00:15:46.70\00:15:48.08 See a person that's doing, well, we're doing, they don't. 00:15:48.11\00:15:50.91 So they just figure. 00:15:50.94\00:15:52.26 Yeah. Anyway-- 00:15:52.29\00:15:53.35 You know, I want to talk about something 00:15:53.38\00:15:55.03 and I want your permission to be able to talk about this 00:15:55.06\00:15:58.24 that Marilyn was not doing all that well. 00:15:58.27\00:16:02.26 And a group of you got together and prayed. 00:16:02.29\00:16:05.59 Just this morning as God's healing power. 00:16:05.62\00:16:10.54 Well, you know, prefacing this, 00:16:10.57\00:16:15.82 here is someone who has gone literally all over the world. 00:16:15.85\00:16:19.46 She was with It is Written, Russia, 00:16:19.49\00:16:22.15 all these places singing year after year 00:16:22.18\00:16:25.17 and just blessing so many people. 00:16:25.20\00:16:28.20 And when you travel and when you do that stuff 00:16:28.23\00:16:30.08 it's not that easy. 00:16:30.11\00:16:32.16 It's doable but, and she didn't know about it at first. 00:16:32.19\00:16:36.37 So she has been back before, she said that. 00:16:36.40\00:16:39.41 But the thing is, is that when it started affecting her 00:16:39.44\00:16:44.47 so that she couldn't play 00:16:44.50\00:16:45.94 and she was having problems that way. 00:16:45.97\00:16:48.03 Then she really, really, you know, 00:16:48.06\00:16:50.40 she wants to-- I think it was 14 years ago 00:16:50.43\00:16:54.83 that she was last here. 00:16:54.86\00:16:56.18 And a lot of things can happen in 14 years. 00:16:56.21\00:16:58.56 Yes. 00:16:58.59\00:16:59.62 And the feet are generally the way it starts. 00:16:59.65\00:17:02.86 And it goes through the body and so many issues now 00:17:02.89\00:17:08.49 as it the digestive system doesn't have the nerves 00:17:08.52\00:17:13.37 that are healthy and strong like that. 00:17:13.40\00:17:15.30 And if I hadn't had somebody just two years ago 00:17:15.33\00:17:19.33 that came in and he was dying, 00:17:19.36\00:17:21.00 he went from 220 pounds down to a 120 pounds 00:17:21.03\00:17:25.39 and he was literally dying. 00:17:25.42\00:17:27.45 And it reversed for him so I can, you know, 00:17:27.48\00:17:29.73 I can tell people that are suffering 00:17:29.76\00:17:31.77 from early parts of this that, yes, it is reversible, 00:17:31.80\00:17:35.25 it's not easy, we wish that you, you know, 00:17:35.28\00:17:37.89 had not had to go through this. 00:17:37.92\00:17:40.53 But it is, it's just-- I should write his case up 00:17:40.56\00:17:44.11 and another people that have that. 00:17:44.14\00:17:47.12 But what's really important to me is that 00:17:47.15\00:17:50.89 a group of you, three or four of you got together with her. 00:17:50.92\00:17:55.46 Where she wasn't gonna even come in 00:17:55.49\00:17:57.31 for the second interview here. 00:17:57.34\00:17:59.59 And sit with us because she was not doing well. 00:17:59.62\00:18:05.14 But after your prayer, 00:18:05.17\00:18:07.20 all of a sudden, there was a change. 00:18:07.23\00:18:09.01 It wasn't my-- Just my prayer. 00:18:09.04\00:18:11.01 Well, the prayer of all of you. 00:18:11.04\00:18:12.57 'Cause people here on campus and they're used to looking 00:18:12.60\00:18:14.70 heavenward and asking God. 00:18:14.73\00:18:16.59 But, you know, Ron, I really must say this. 00:18:16.62\00:18:21.40 If you have a common cold 00:18:21.43\00:18:24.46 or you have metastatic inoperable cancer, 00:18:24.49\00:18:27.82 there's only one person that can heal. 00:18:27.85\00:18:29.90 Amen. And we look to that. 00:18:29.93\00:18:32.53 You know, I mean, she's been so close to the Lord 00:18:32.56\00:18:34.85 and worked with people that, that are spreading the gospel 00:18:34.88\00:18:37.60 all over the-- all over the world. 00:18:37.63\00:18:39.04 But it was so touching today when she went back to the piano 00:18:39.07\00:18:43.97 and she sang and just for our guests that were there. 00:18:44.00\00:18:48.51 And they were just, it just brings tears to your eyes. 00:18:48.54\00:18:51.59 Yeah. 00:18:51.62\00:18:52.65 And as God gives a person a gift 00:18:52.68\00:18:54.26 and as long as they can use it they want to do it. 00:18:54.29\00:18:56.56 All right. 00:18:56.59\00:18:57.62 So what is-- What's gonna happen with her, Doc? 00:18:57.65\00:19:00.30 I'm really-- Okay. 00:19:00.33\00:19:03.16 Well, yesterday when she just, you know, 00:19:03.19\00:19:06.95 said I just can't take this pain anymore. 00:19:06.98\00:19:09.95 I'm saying, yes. 00:19:09.98\00:19:12.31 I have to tell people and they say, 00:19:12.34\00:19:14.44 you know, Doc, when I came here my feet were numb 00:19:14.47\00:19:16.73 and now they're just, 00:19:16.76\00:19:17.96 yeah, they describe it in different ways, 00:19:17.99\00:19:20.42 walking on razor blades, they are walking on broken glass. 00:19:20.45\00:19:24.25 Or hot, you know, hot coals or whatever. 00:19:24.28\00:19:27.46 But it's tough because, I say, 00:19:27.49\00:19:29.52 yes, that shows that you're healing. 00:19:29.55\00:19:31.64 And she's already starting to get some results from it. 00:19:31.67\00:19:34.73 And so it's tough to go through this. 00:19:34.76\00:19:38.52 But yes, I believe that as she continues on with this 00:19:38.55\00:19:42.47 and she's very, very committed. 00:19:42.50\00:19:45.01 That she will have healing from that, 00:19:45.04\00:19:47.31 she's on a whole stack of medications 00:19:47.34\00:19:49.70 and you've got to treat some of these things 00:19:49.73\00:19:51.96 when your blood pressure is up and things are, 00:19:51.99\00:19:55.35 you know, you're having clots form here and there 00:19:55.38\00:19:58.61 and stuff like that. 00:19:58.64\00:19:59.68 So they got to treat that but to do the lifestyle 00:19:59.71\00:20:03.22 and see the healing power of God, He says, 00:20:03.25\00:20:05.81 "Look, if you'll get here to my commandments. 00:20:05.84\00:20:09.24 In other words, listen to obey and you'll keep my statutes, 00:20:09.27\00:20:14.09 you will have none of these diseases." 00:20:14.12\00:20:15.86 Amen. 00:20:15.89\00:20:16.92 "Because I am the Lord thy God who healeth thee." 00:20:16.95\00:20:19.21 Amen. 00:20:19.24\00:20:20.27 And we give that to the people every time. 00:20:20.30\00:20:22.95 You know, the thing is that we don't really realize 00:20:22.98\00:20:26.30 the tremendous power that God has 00:20:26.33\00:20:29.45 and the almost unutterable love 00:20:29.48\00:20:32.10 that He has for all of His children, 00:20:32.13\00:20:34.15 all of His children. 00:20:34.18\00:20:35.67 Whether they're doing right or wrong, 00:20:35.70\00:20:36.93 whether they are weak or strong or whatever. 00:20:36.96\00:20:39.20 If we realize that, our lives would be filled with peace 00:20:39.23\00:20:44.45 and joy and rejoicing. 00:20:44.48\00:20:46.42 Well, I know that there are viewers right now 00:20:46.45\00:20:50.84 listening to what you just said and you've given them hope. 00:20:50.87\00:20:54.17 And I want to elaborate on that a little bit. 00:20:54.20\00:20:59.40 What can someone do starting right now, 00:20:59.43\00:21:02.59 people at home, maybe they are so sick 00:21:02.62\00:21:05.59 they can't even get out of the house. 00:21:05.62\00:21:07.24 What can they do? 00:21:07.27\00:21:08.71 Open their Bible, the most up-to-date science book, 00:21:08.74\00:21:12.43 Genesis 1 and start reading and when you get to 29, 00:21:12.46\00:21:16.24 you'll find out that this is the whole plant foods diet 00:21:16.27\00:21:20.06 and you want to eat it in simply 00:21:20.09\00:21:21.47 and that should be prepared. 00:21:21.50\00:21:22.81 The other thing is, two tiny little increments, 00:21:22.84\00:21:26.39 walk just a little bit, if you can only get up 00:21:26.42\00:21:29.13 out of your chair and then sit back down again. 00:21:29.16\00:21:31.69 That's exercise. 00:21:31.72\00:21:33.22 And let me, let me tell you another thing 00:21:33.25\00:21:35.08 that I am so thrilled, 00:21:35.11\00:21:36.56 that she and her husband both came. 00:21:36.59\00:21:39.95 Yes. 00:21:39.98\00:21:41.02 And they will help each other, she's-- 00:21:41.05\00:21:43.95 When somebody's in pain, 00:21:43.98\00:21:45.63 they are totally dependent upon their spouse. 00:21:45.66\00:21:48.47 For their, you know, for their mental, 00:21:48.50\00:21:51.10 their-- Even their spiritual health. 00:21:51.13\00:21:52.73 Well, as you know-- And with him being here. 00:21:52.76\00:21:55.09 Yeah. 00:21:55.12\00:21:56.15 And with him being here and then doing it together, 00:21:56.18\00:21:58.31 it's gonna be, it's all the difference 00:21:58.34\00:22:00.42 between being successful and falling back again. 00:22:00.45\00:22:06.33 And as you know, my wife came with me 00:22:06.36\00:22:08.62 'cause I wasn't about to go home 00:22:08.65\00:22:10.85 and do what I learned here, 00:22:10.88\00:22:12.76 how could I share all this with her. 00:22:12.79\00:22:14.68 You can't explain it. 00:23:36.15\00:23:38.41 Two hydrogen atoms bound to one oxygen atom 00:23:38.44\00:23:41.94 forming H20 or water. 00:23:41.97\00:23:44.46 A study published in the American Journal 00:23:44.49\00:23:46.73 of Epidemiology showed that those who drank 00:23:46.76\00:23:49.40 more than five glasses of water per day 00:23:49.43\00:23:52.46 had significantly less death from coronary heart disease 00:23:52.49\00:23:56.77 compared to those who drank less than two glasses per day. 00:23:56.80\00:24:00.89 Doctor Chan, the principal investigator wrote, 00:24:00.92\00:24:03.88 "Basically not drinking enough water 00:24:03.91\00:24:06.67 can be as harmful to your heart as smoking." 00:24:06.70\00:24:10.52 Drinking over five glasses of water per day 00:24:10.55\00:24:14.24 will cut the risk of coronary heart disease in half. 00:24:14.27\00:24:18.62 This has an equal or greater effect than any other 00:24:18.65\00:24:22.43 well known preventive measure. 00:24:22.46\00:24:25.39 The researchers also noted that if people drank 00:24:25.42\00:24:27.98 anything other than pure water, 00:24:28.01\00:24:30.63 their risk for coronary heart disease actually increased. 00:24:30.66\00:24:34.74 This includes tea, coffee, soda and even fruit juices. 00:24:34.77\00:24:39.96 Doctor Chan noted, "People need to be made aware 00:24:39.99\00:24:43.15 that there is a difference, at least for heart health, 00:24:43.18\00:24:46.66 whether they get their fluids from plain water 00:24:46.69\00:24:49.00 or from sodas." 00:24:49.03\00:24:51.38 Perhaps you're wondering how is it that something 00:24:51.41\00:24:53.77 as simple as drinking water has such a substantial effect 00:24:53.80\00:24:57.47 on our coronary health. 00:24:57.50\00:24:59.49 Well, it has been shown that dehydration elevates 00:24:59.52\00:25:02.90 blood stickiness and increases blood elements 00:25:02.93\00:25:06.11 that promote clotting. 00:25:06.14\00:25:07.94 When elevated, these are risk factors 00:25:07.97\00:25:10.66 for coronary heart disease. 00:25:10.69\00:25:12.69 So how much water should you drink? 00:25:12.72\00:25:15.23 Here's a good rule of thumb. 00:25:15.26\00:25:16.67 Take your body weight in pounds and divide it in half. 00:25:16.70\00:25:20.09 That number is the recommended number of ounces 00:25:20.12\00:25:23.41 you should drink every day. 00:25:23.44\00:25:25.76 Naturally, your need for water increases with exercise, 00:25:25.79\00:25:29.30 warmer temperatures, and fever. 00:25:29.33\00:25:31.55 When dealing with these situations, 00:25:31.58\00:25:33.32 use your commonsense, and make sure you drink enough. 00:25:33.35\00:25:37.33 It is helpful to drink at least one glass of water 00:25:37.36\00:25:40.16 as soon as you wake up in the morning 00:25:40.19\00:25:42.10 as well as a glass of water at bedtime. 00:25:42.13\00:25:45.04 This has been shown to significantly reduce 00:25:45.07\00:25:47.44 your heart attack risk for that night. 00:25:47.47\00:25:50.35 Your body is 75% water and your brain is 85% water. 00:25:50.38\00:25:55.90 Water is more than a simple solvent, 00:25:55.93\00:25:58.19 it is important in many body functions. 00:25:58.22\00:26:02.16 With all of these benefits, 00:26:02.19\00:26:04.23 why don't we hear more about water? 00:26:04.26\00:26:06.49 Could it be because you cannot patent water, 00:26:06.52\00:26:10.06 there's no profit in its research or its promotion. 00:26:10.09\00:26:13.79 As you can see, in our goal to live longer, 00:26:13.82\00:26:16.82 better, healthier lives, 00:26:16.85\00:26:19.00 we need to develop the habit of drinking 00:26:19.03\00:26:20.97 generous amounts of water 00:26:21.00\00:26:22.87 in conjunction with reducing or eliminating 00:26:22.90\00:26:25.86 the consumption of tea, coffee, soda and fruit drinks. 00:26:25.89\00:26:30.11 We just need plain pure water. 00:26:30.14\00:26:32.78 Because of the risk of BPA and plastics, 00:26:32.81\00:26:35.17 it's best to avoid most bottled water. 00:26:35.20\00:26:37.82 It's a good idea to filter tap water, 00:26:37.85\00:26:40.53 this can be effective in most situations 00:26:40.56\00:26:42.73 with a good charcoal filter. 00:26:42.76\00:26:45.50 This will also save you money in the long run. 00:26:45.53\00:26:48.55 For those of us with well water, 00:26:48.58\00:26:50.45 it's a good idea to have your water tested 00:26:50.48\00:26:52.47 to make sure that it does not contain toxins 00:26:52.50\00:26:54.85 such as heavy metals. 00:26:54.88\00:26:56.93 So in our goal to live 120 years of age, 00:26:56.96\00:27:01.36 drinking plenty of water is definitely 00:27:01.39\00:27:04.24 one of the most important habits 00:27:04.27\00:27:06.75 that we can develop. 00:27:06.78\00:27:08.03 You're killing me. 00:27:26.48\00:27:27.94 You're killing me. 00:27:31.11\00:27:32.86 Actually, Dad, you're killing yourself. 00:27:32.89\00:27:37.46 With the only program scientifically proven 00:27:37.49\00:27:39.70 to prolong life by 10 years 00:27:39.73\00:27:41.58 the Newstart Lifestyle Program can significantly decrease 00:27:41.61\00:27:44.68 the risk of disease including diabetes. 00:27:44.71\00:27:47.14 Done with that?
