Hi friends, and welcome to another 00:00:23.63\00:00:25.48 addition of NEWSTART Now. 00:00:25.49\00:00:27.15 We have in our studio with us today, 00:00:27.66\00:00:29.81 Paul Steinke from Placerville, CA. 00:00:30.03\00:00:34.12 Paul came to our NEWSTART program 00:00:34.60\00:00:37.12 a very sick man, with a disease that I know 00:00:37.13\00:00:40.36 many of you know about called cancer. 00:00:40.37\00:00:42.69 Let's take a look at when he first arrived here 00:00:43.09\00:00:46.09 at our NEWSTART program. 00:00:46.10\00:00:47.18 I got ill and I had to go to the emergency room 00:00:48.33\00:00:57.36 because I was getting sick and the doctors 00:00:57.37\00:01:00.12 were not available around Christmas time. 00:01:00.13\00:01:02.57 So when I went in, they found out that I had cancer, 00:01:03.06\00:01:08.81 pancreatitis, and lesions on the liver. 00:01:08.82\00:01:13.18 The cancer was of the kidney. 00:01:14.06\00:01:16.15 After Christmas they took out the kidney, 00:01:16.66\00:01:20.54 the pancreatitis was taken care of by prednisone, 00:01:21.21\00:01:24.54 which allows the cancer to grow faster. 00:01:24.55\00:01:27.12 The lesions on my liver are growing, 00:01:27.54\00:01:29.63 but they are too small to biopsy. 00:01:29.64\00:01:31.60 The thing that I would like to leave without, 00:01:31.84\00:01:34.12 is to have the cancer stopped or slowed or lessened. 00:01:34.13\00:01:40.63 That way I could continue the program 00:01:41.18\00:01:43.60 to do it naturally instead of using chemo 00:01:43.61\00:01:46.69 or surgery. 00:01:47.42\00:01:48.42 Welcome back friends, and in our studio 00:01:51.72\00:01:53.24 Paul how are you my friend? 00:01:53.25\00:01:55.06 -Doing good. 00:01:55.07\00:01:56.06 Good to see you. 00:01:56.07\00:01:57.54 Well how is a guy suppose to look 00:01:57.66\00:01:59.30 that has cancer? It seems that 00:11:52.75\00:11:54.63 he has learned quite a bit about taking care 00:11:55.06\00:11:57.21 of this ailment that he has, called cancer. 00:11:57.22\00:12:00.33 It amazes me that he has had some other things 00:12:00.81\00:12:04.36 that he has dealt with all of his life 00:12:04.37\00:12:06.15 and now all of a sudden they are gone. 00:12:06.16\00:12:08.06 -This is true. -How do we explain this? 00:12:08.07\00:12:09.48 When you eat a good diet, 00:12:09.87\00:12:13.75 whole plant foods eaten whole, 00:12:14.48\00:12:16.60 if you have things that may be caused 00:12:17.12\00:12:20.33 and or aggravated by allergies 00:12:20.34\00:12:23.30 and things like that as asthma is, 00:12:23.31\00:12:26.30 it has been our experience that, 00:12:26.33\00:12:28.33 individuals with that type of problem, 00:12:28.60\00:12:31.06 invariably they have less asthma attacks, 00:12:31.07\00:12:35.51 they do better because they don't have 00:12:36.12\00:12:38.21 anything that triggers them, 00:12:38.22\00:12:39.87 and they feel better, 00:12:39.88\00:12:41.06 this is one of the advantages of 00:12:41.21\00:12:43.60 whole plant foods. People with the common 00:12:44.27\00:12:46.87 condition of hay fever, likewise when they 00:12:46.88\00:12:50.09 go to a totally plant based diet, or vegan diet, 00:12:50.10\00:12:53.51 they get significant and dramatic relief 00:12:53.84\00:12:56.75 from the symtoms of allergies which 00:12:56.76\00:12:59.39 aften plague them in the spring time. 00:12:59.40\00:13:01.57 We have found that it is very important 00:13:02.21\00:13:04.18 for them to continue to do that 00:13:04.19\00:13:06.45 if they want to continue to be 00:13:06.46\00:13:08.42 free from those symptoms of sneezing, 00:13:08.43\00:13:11.45 runny nose, and things like that. 00:13:11.46\00:13:13.75 Surly in 60 years of taking medications and such, 00:13:14.06\00:13:18.54 he had to run across someone, 00:13:18.63\00:13:20.75 Who knew that lifestyle could help him. 00:13:21.06\00:13:24.30 I would think. 00:13:24.33\00:13:25.39 Not necessarily. It really depends who your friends are, 00:13:26.42\00:13:30.48 and who your healthcare providers are. 00:13:30.49\00:13:32.69 We have seen fairly consistant results with this. 00:13:32.70\00:13:35.24 We were talking with this couple. 00:13:35.48\00:13:37.87 and their children were going to daycare. 00:13:37.88\00:13:40.06 and what would happen often times. 00:13:40.07\00:13:42.48 The people who were taking care of the children 00:13:42.49\00:13:44.57 would give them sweets and cookies, and things 00:13:44.58\00:13:47.33 like that to keep them quiet. 00:13:47.34\00:13:49.45 As a result of this, these children 00:13:49.60\00:13:52.57 were getting sick, and after they would get the cold 00:13:52.58\00:13:55.81 they would end up with a asthma attack. 00:13:56.21\00:14:01.30 Which would mean that the mother would have 00:14:01.31\00:14:03.06 to call the pediatrician. Than the pediatrician 00:14:03.07\00:14:05.60 would say bring the children over. 00:14:05.61\00:14:07.57 They would often end up with a hospitalization. 00:14:07.58\00:14:10.36 This was getting rather expensive, 00:14:10.63\00:14:12.48 we saved a tongue and cheek. 00:14:12.49\00:14:14.54 The mother was helping 00:14:14.55\00:14:16.06 to purchase the pediatrician's new mercedes. 00:14:16.07\00:14:18.66 My wife told the mother to tell the people 00:14:18.67\00:14:22.33 taking care of your children to eliminate 00:14:22.34\00:14:26.06 the cookies and candies and the sweets like that, 00:14:26.27\00:14:29.78 the children hardly ever got sick again. 00:14:29.79\00:14:32.18 Then the pediatrician had to find 00:14:34.06\00:14:37.06 some else to make the payments 00:14:37.07\00:14:38.30 for his car. 00:14:38.31\00:14:39.51 It is really true that 00:14:41.06\00:14:42.39 the children hardly ever got sick again. 00:14:42.40\00:14:44.12 In fact, one of the children in this story is 00:14:44.13\00:14:48.15 completing his medical school, 00:14:48.16\00:14:51.87 overseas in Australia because that is 00:14:51.88\00:14:54.06 where the family lives. 00:14:54.07\00:14:55.60 The little girl is now a dental student. 00:14:55.61\00:15:00.75 They have done fantastically well. 00:15:00.76\00:15:03.24 It has been exciting to comunicate 00:15:03.57\00:15:08.09 with this family and see how the Lord 00:15:08.10\00:15:10.21 has blessed them through all of these years. 00:15:10.22\00:15:12.06 It was just a meeting that took place 00:15:12.07\00:15:14.81 in the hospital where the husband was sick, 00:15:14.82\00:15:17.09 and my wife was talking with the husband 00:15:17.10\00:15:19.60 and with the wife. It was great to see how 00:15:19.61\00:15:22.75 God leads in very mysterious 00:15:22.76\00:15:24.84 and wonderful ways. 00:15:24.85\00:15:26.27 -So we have a message for our care givers 00:15:26.66\00:15:29.09 out there and for school teachers. 00:15:29.10\00:15:31.09 Not to reward our children with candy 00:15:31.10\00:15:33.81 and ice cream and things like that. 00:15:34.06\00:15:35.69 -Right When I went to school 00:15:35.70\00:15:37.36 we had a machine, I remember it very vividly. 00:15:37.37\00:15:40.15 It dispensed apples. Nice and cold juicy apples. 00:15:40.36\00:15:43.69 This is what we should be giving our children. 00:15:44.12\00:15:46.24 Fruit and vegetables instead of candies. 00:15:46.25\00:15:49.69 It infuriates me because I remember 00:15:49.70\00:15:52.33 my own children getting candies 00:15:52.34\00:15:54.57 as a reward for what they did in class. 00:15:54.58\00:15:58.12 Then they would come home and they 00:15:58.13\00:15:59.33 would be bouncing against the walls. 00:15:59.34\00:16:01.57 -That's very very true. 00:16:01.58\00:16:03.15 Back to Paul. 00:16:03.16\00:16:04.15 He is dealing with this cancer situation. 00:16:04.51\00:16:07.48 Now I know you've had a lot of experience 00:16:07.49\00:16:09.81 with that, doctor. What has changed with him now? 00:16:09.82\00:16:13.78 He has found out that he 00:16:13.79\00:16:14.84 shouldn't be eating curtain foods. 00:16:14.85\00:16:17.12 -Well one of the things that we've noticed 00:16:17.39\00:16:19.06 in his laboratory studies was, his cholesterol 00:16:19.07\00:16:22.36 was really fairly good before he got here. 00:16:22.37\00:16:24.72 and his triglycerides were really pretty good. 00:16:24.73\00:16:27.63 When we repeated his blood tests, 00:16:27.69\00:16:30.18 his cholesterol dropped another 20% 00:16:30.19\00:16:32.60 which is ever better. His triglycerides 00:16:32.61\00:16:35.66 also came down 20%. Which was very good. 00:16:35.67\00:16:39.33 From about 150 for his cholesterol 00:16:39.34\00:16:42.66 down to like 120. -That happened in two weeks? 00:16:42.67\00:16:45.87 Yeah this happened in the time that he was here. 00:16:45.88\00:16:48.30 So the shift in his diet from what he was doing 00:16:48.31\00:16:52.06 to a more natural diet. Like we say, 00:16:52.07\00:16:55.33 Whole plant foods eaten whole. 00:16:55.34\00:16:57.45 Has had a positive effect on him. 00:16:57.46\00:17:00.75 It has been very exciting to see how he has done 00:17:01.39\00:17:05.51 and how he has progressed. 00:17:05.52\00:17:07.09 -Yes 00:17:07.45\00:17:08.45 He lives near by. About an hour away 00:17:08.46\00:17:12.60 as we know and you will be staying in touch with him. 00:17:12.61\00:17:16.60 -Right. I encourage all of my patients to 00:17:17.06\00:17:20.06 maintain contact with us. 00:17:20.07\00:17:22.12 Usually the patients that I deal with 00:17:22.13\00:17:24.39 or work with, get my email, 00:17:24.63\00:17:26.87 and also my home telephone number. 00:17:27.21\00:17:29.57 I autograph a little book for them 00:17:30.09\00:17:32.63 and I write that in there. I say, 00:17:32.64\00:17:34.54 please contact me and let me know 00:17:34.55\00:17:36.30 what is happening. I have patients 00:17:36.31\00:17:38.39 do this, some more regularly than others. 00:17:38.40\00:17:41.45 -Well I know that to be a fact because, 00:17:41.81\00:17:43.75 I don't know if you recall the phone call 00:17:44.12\00:17:46.27 that I made to you 7 or 8 years ago, 00:17:46.28\00:17:48.66 where we talked at 10 or 11 o'clock at night. 00:17:49.09\00:17:51.69 You were very willing to advise 00:17:52.06\00:17:54.15 and you spent a long time on the phone. 00:17:54.16\00:17:56.69 Now I don't want people to keep you up at night. 00:17:56.70\00:17:58.78 That wasn't the point of that statement. 00:17:58.79\00:18:00.84 Perhaps you can tell our viewers out there, 00:18:01.30\00:18:04.06 Those viewers that know someone with cancer 00:18:04.07\00:18:07.15 or perhaps they have cancer themselves. 00:18:07.16\00:18:09.30 What can you advise them to do doctor. 00:18:09.31\00:18:12.15 -Well one of the other things that we mentioned 00:18:12.16\00:18:15.15 with Paul was whole plant foods eaten whole, 00:18:15.30\00:18:19.12 In other words we want them to avoid 00:18:19.13\00:18:21.81 any type of animal products like 00:18:22.12\00:18:24.39 meat, fish, chicken, eggs, and dairy. 00:18:24.40\00:18:26.78 We also encourage them to eat as much 00:18:26.79\00:18:29.06 raw food as they are willing to eat. 00:18:29.07\00:18:31.09 So I said, eat as much raw food as you are filling to eat 00:18:31.10\00:18:35.27 and than take 2 or 3 bits more. 00:18:35.28\00:18:38.09 All of the salad type vegetables. 00:18:38.30\00:18:41.06 You've got lettuce, celery, carrots, radishes, 00:18:41.18\00:18:45.51 cucumbers and multiple types of lettuce. 00:18:45.52\00:18:50.09 Even a lot of the so called regular vegetables 00:18:50.51\00:18:53.57 that you often think of cooking like cabbage, 00:18:53.58\00:18:55.81 string beans, asparagus, and things like this. 00:18:55.82\00:19:00.15 You can eat them raw if they are fresh and young. 00:19:00.36\00:19:04.54 That we have found to be very helpful. 00:19:04.55\00:19:07.57 Sometimes patients might follow this for a while 00:19:08.06\00:19:12.66 and than they may stray and wonder back 00:19:13.12\00:19:17.72 and say, well I'm feeling so well. 00:19:17.73\00:19:20.21 My PSA is down so much. 00:19:20.22\00:19:22.42 I just want to have a little piece 00:19:22.43\00:19:25.12 of chicken or fish. We often find that 00:19:25.13\00:19:29.06 once they start, they kind of just 00:19:29.07\00:19:30.84 reverse back and unfortunately 00:19:30.85\00:19:33.63 in some of the cases where people 00:19:33.64\00:19:36.21 resume their prior diet, when they seem 00:19:36.22\00:19:39.69 to have been doing very well, 00:19:39.70\00:19:41.12 It is not uncommon for the cancer to recur. 00:19:41.45\00:19:45.57 -Yes 00:19:45.58\00:19:46.57 Or they were there all of the time 00:19:46.58\00:19:48.81 but they started to grow again. 00:19:48.82\00:19:51.15 They falir up and come back with vengeance. 00:19:51.51\00:19:54.27 You want to do that 100% all of the time. 00:19:55.15\00:19:58.75 you even want to learn to read labels 00:19:58.76\00:20:00.81 and be very careful that prepared foods 00:20:00.82\00:20:03.51 don't have milk, or eggs, -or sugar or syrups. 00:20:03.52\00:20:11.30 Many times when you buy bread, if you look on the label, 00:20:11.60\00:20:14.18 you might see the words whey, none fat milk solids, or casein. 00:20:14.19\00:20:20.57 These are all dairy products. 00:20:20.58\00:20:24.63 Many times if you buy prepared spagetti sauce, 00:20:24.75\00:20:28.15 some of them will have cheese and other things 00:20:28.16\00:20:32.51 if you read the label carefully. -Yes 00:20:32.52\00:20:34.42 Now we have a few seconds left. 00:20:34.84\00:20:36.72 Is there a different between organic 00:20:37.03\00:20:39.63 for these people who are sick, 00:20:40.21\00:20:42.39 or even if they're not sick. 00:20:42.63\00:20:44.15 and what we buy typically in the produce market? 00:20:44.16\00:20:46.75 Well there is a difference but in most cases I don't think 00:20:47.12\00:20:50.06 that it is worth the extra cost. 00:20:50.07\00:20:51.63 Unless a person has a lot of chemical sensitivity, 00:20:51.64\00:20:54.27 we don't encourage them to go all organic. 00:20:54.28\00:20:57.30 Dr. Ing I thank you for joining us 00:20:58.36\00:21:00.21 in the studio. Welcome to the program. 00:21:28.55\00:21:30.60 -Thank you 00:21:30.61\00:21:31.72 You are a physician that is trained in family practice 00:21:31.78\00:21:34.51 and also preventive medicine 00:21:34.52\00:21:36.42 So another words it is better to prevent 00:21:36.43\00:21:39.57 -than to treat preferably sure. 00:21:39.58\00:21:41.69 In terms of day to day work 00:21:42.06\00:21:44.75 what kind of work do you do? 00:21:44.76\00:21:46.69 I work in a urgent care setting 00:21:46.87\00:21:49.30 so basically anything that walks of the street 00:21:49.31\00:21:51.18 I go ahead and treat and also occupational medicine. 00:21:51.19\00:21:54.33 Ok great. Speaking of urgent care, 00:21:54.54\00:21:57.06 What is one of the main things that happens 00:21:57.07\00:22:00.60 when people come in? 00:22:00.61\00:22:02.78 Well there is a lot of different things. 00:22:03.39\00:22:05.30 A lot of upper respiratory infections. 00:22:05.31\00:22:08.48 perhaps injuries, just a whole host. 00:22:08.49\00:22:11.09 You've worked in ER so you know good and well. 00:22:11.33\00:22:14.09 What about foreign bodies in the eyes. 00:22:14.10\00:22:16.78 and that's the topic isn't it? -right 00:22:16.81\00:22:19.09 So foreign bodies meaning they are 00:22:19.42\00:22:22.06 not suppose to be there. They are foreign. 00:22:22.07\00:22:23.06 Yeah exactly, just things that are foreign to our body, 00:22:23.07\00:22:26.27 getting into eyes, ears, different places like that. 00:22:26.28\00:22:29.15 So lets just talk about some of those. 00:22:29.16\00:22:30.42 Let's say that the most common may be dust. 00:22:30.43\00:22:32.87 Absolutely, by far the most common, 00:22:33.24\00:22:36.06 people get something in their eye 00:22:36.07\00:22:37.27 It is really small. They have perhaps 00:22:37.28\00:22:40.06 no idea really what it is. 00:22:40.07\00:22:41.72 It could be dust or any sorts of particles. 00:22:41.73\00:22:45.45 -Wood chips, anything like that. 00:22:46.12\00:22:48.24 from animals, dirt is the most common. 00:22:48.36\00:22:52.06 -So what do you do initially? 00:22:52.45\00:22:55.72 Lets say you are at home and they don't want to see you. 00:22:55.73\00:22:58.36 or go to the urgent care. 00:22:58.37\00:22:59.48 Not because they don't like you. 00:22:59.60\00:23:01.42 but because they are trying to work through it. 00:23:01.43\00:23:03.12 What should they do. 00:23:03.13\00:23:04.15 Well by far in a way, 00:23:04.27\00:23:05.87 the most important thing to do, 00:23:05.88\00:23:07.63 is for people to try to wash it out themselves. 00:23:07.64\00:23:10.57 Immediately the eye starts tearing 00:23:11.18\00:23:12.87 God has placed within us mechanisms 00:23:12.88\00:23:15.06 to try to get out those foreign bodies. 00:23:15.15\00:23:16.51 For the most part that works 00:23:17.12\00:23:20.24 but often that doesn't work 00:23:20.25\00:23:22.66 and so really irrigating it, 00:23:22.67\00:23:24.66 taking a glass of water, 00:23:24.67\00:23:26.84 Or if you have a hose than spray 00:23:26.85\00:23:29.39 it into your eye. 00:23:29.40\00:23:30.78 -You don't have to worry about damaging your eye 00:23:30.87\00:23:33.48 with that at all. 00:23:33.49\00:23:34.51 No, water is soft. What can I say. 00:23:34.78\00:23:37.06 -Right. So you irrigate it, 00:23:37.07\00:23:39.06 anything eles you can do? 00:23:39.21\00:23:40.60 Do you have any techniques? 00:23:40.61\00:23:42.54 -Sure but before we get to that. 00:23:42.55\00:23:44.84 Let me just say that. 00:23:45.06\00:23:46.60 How long should you irrigate it for? 00:23:46.72\00:23:49.42 Basically as long as you can. 00:23:49.43\00:23:53.06 Especially it is like some type of substance 00:23:53.07\00:23:55.06 Some sort of fluids, cleaning fluid whatnot. 00:23:55.07\00:23:57.36 I love it when people say that they soaked 00:23:57.48\00:24:00.54 there eyes for 15-30 mins. 00:24:00.55\00:24:03.06 To me that's far more important 00:24:03.51\00:24:04.72 than getting to a doctor first. 00:24:04.73\00:24:06.78 To go again and do what you can 00:24:06.79\00:24:08.06 to wash it just wash it out. 00:24:08.07\00:24:09.15 - Ok 15-30 especially if it is a acid or something. 00:24:09.30\00:24:14.33 Yeah for sure. 00:24:14.39\00:24:15.84 -So we've talked about dust in the eye, 00:24:16.15\00:24:17.63 wood chips in the eye, what if somebody 00:24:17.64\00:24:20.48 got a piece of medal in their eye. 00:24:20.49\00:24:23.60 Well before we get to medal 00:24:24.21\00:24:25.21 let me talk about the technique. 00:24:25.22\00:24:26.39 -Ok good 00:24:26.40\00:24:27.60 Aften times, people feel that when they blink 00:24:27.61\00:24:32.39 It is like ouch ouch each time they blink. 00:24:32.57\00:24:35.24 Often times there is a speck, foreign body on 00:24:35.60\00:24:39.21 the inside of the upper eyelid. 00:24:39.22\00:24:41.66 and as they blink they are going right 00:24:42.06\00:24:43.75 across the cornea and causing an abrasion. 00:24:43.76\00:24:45.69 a scratch on the surface. 00:24:45.70\00:24:47.21 One of the things that you can do, 00:24:47.39\00:24:49.48 is to grab the eye lashes. 00:24:49.49\00:24:51.45 of the upper lid and pull it out, 00:24:51.46\00:24:53.06 and pull it down over the lower eyelid. 00:24:53.24\00:24:55.69 and than lifting up like that. 00:24:55.70\00:24:57.21 and sometimes it will come off down here. 00:24:57.42\00:24:59.57 Just wipe it off like that. 00:24:59.58\00:25:00.78 So that's sort of a technique 00:25:00.87\00:25:02.84 if the viewers could remember that. 00:25:03.24\00:25:05.51 -Let's say they tried that and it didn't work. 00:25:06.06\00:25:08.60 -Then you might want to come to me 00:25:09.33\00:25:11.33 although I'd go ahead and try it several times. 00:25:11.34\00:25:13.72 -What are you going to do that we can't do at the house? 00:25:13.81\00:25:16.06 -Well several things actually. 00:25:16.36\00:25:18.39 We have a number of different things. 00:25:18.40\00:25:21.12 There is a slit lamp in the office 00:25:21.13\00:25:23.15 and it's a excellent microscope 00:25:23.16\00:25:25.54 that we can see very close in to be able to see it. 00:25:25.55\00:25:28.69 We can also use fluorescein which is like highlighter fluid. 00:25:29.06\00:25:33.27 That we drop in the eye and it tends to pool 00:25:33.28\00:25:35.72 in areas where there are scratches 00:25:35.73\00:25:37.15 It makes things just stand out. 00:25:37.16\00:25:38.60 We use a ultraviolet lamp to just light it up. 00:25:38.81\00:25:42.30 They used to use something called Alcaine 00:25:42.31\00:25:48.27 -Yeah just a couple drops to numb the pain 00:25:48.28\00:25:50.60 and the people love it but it is just a temporary thing. 00:25:50.61\00:25:53.12 -The pain is actually your friend because it 00:25:53.13\00:25:54.81 lets you know that there is a problem. 00:25:54.82\00:25:56.42 -Right 00:25:56.43\00:25:57.42 Ok well we are going to come back 00:25:57.43\00:25:58.60 and talk more about another aspect 00:25:58.61\00:26:01.09 of foreign bodies in the eye. 00:26:01.10\00:26:02.12 We have been talking to Dr. Doug Plata. 00:26:02.13\00:26:04.18 He is a urgent care physician. 00:26:04.19\00:26:06.36 We talked about what to do with you eye. 00:26:06.69\00:26:08.87 These program are very helpful and useful 00:26:09.27\00:26:11.66 and if you want more information about this 00:26:11.67\00:26:13.21 or other like issues that you might be 00:26:13.22\00:26:16.24 dealing with, you can go to: 00:26:16.25\00:26:17.81 We hope you take advantage of that recourse 00:26:21.60\00:26:23.39 We're glad you've been with us and thank you Dr. 00:26:23.40\00:26:25.27 for being with us. -My pleasure. 00:26:25.28\00:26:26.42 Modern views of evolution stem all the way back 00:26:34.12\00:26:36.63 to theories developed in the mid-1800s. 00:26:36.66\00:26:39.15 Out of the same time period came ideas that shape 00:26:39.72\00:26:43.12 our educational system today. 00:26:43.15\00:26:45.30 The Common School Movement, for example, 00:26:45.84\00:26:48.21 saw schools more like a factory, 00:26:48.57\00:26:50.48 with students blindly memorizing instruction 00:26:50.49\00:26:53.24 rather than thinking for themselves. 00:26:53.27\00:26:55.24 Their curriculum was rigid and theoretical. 00:26:55.69\00:26:58.24 Instead of being flexible and practical, 00:26:58.25\00:27:01.15 it was designed to conform the individual 00:27:01.30\00:27:03.69 into a specific ideological mold 00:27:03.78\00:27:06.33 that fit the needs of an old industrial era 00:27:06.57\00:27:09.12 long since passed. 00:27:09.13\00:27:10.51 Just like our view of creation in six literal days, 00:27:11.78\00:27:15.12 we believe the Bible contains an educational blueprint 00:27:15.21\00:27:19.21 radically different from the one we see now. 00:27:19.48\00:27:21.84 Well friends, that's it for today, 00:27:35.06\00:27:37.39 perhaps you know of someone, maybe yourself. 00:27:37.63\00:27:40.69 Who has this terrible disease called cancer. 00:27:41.21\00:27:44.09 I would suggest that you pick up your phone right now, 00:27:44.69\00:27:47.27 Give us a call. Pickup the phone right now 00:27:47.45\00:27:50.54 and give us a call at: 00:27:50.55\00:27:51.60 Don't be bashful, don't be afraid. 00:27:57.09\00:27:59.36 Just pick up that phone and give us a call. 00:27:59.72\00:28:02.27
