Welcome to another edition of Newstart Now. 00:00:24.12\00:00:26.52 I'll be your host my name is Ron Giannoni. 00:00:27.25\00:00:30.03 This is a program where we interview guests 00:00:30.82\00:00:35.86 at the beginning and during their stay 00:00:35.87\00:00:38.29 here at Newstart program at Weimar. 00:00:41.40\00:00:42.37 And so our guest today is Megan Danaio. 00:00:42.38\00:00:45.17 And we have a short clip we'd like to run by you. 00:00:45.64\00:00:49.83 Can we run that clip now? 00:00:49.84\00:00:51.07 Well, it has to start eight years ago 00:00:52.38\00:00:54.68 with the drowning death of my 16 year old son, 00:00:54.69\00:00:58.51 my oldest. And I continued 00:00:59.13\00:01:03.28 deep depression without medication, 00:01:04.57\00:01:06.77 sought counseling but it wasn't really helping 00:01:07.65\00:01:10.83 and reached for alcohol and immersed myself 00:01:11.29\00:01:17.19 in that distorted behavior of drinking, 00:01:17.20\00:01:22.03 binging and spiraling out of control. 00:01:22.04\00:01:27.48 It effected the relationship 00:01:27.93\00:01:29.24 with my two other children, 00:01:29.25\00:01:30.37 it's effecting my marriage. And it was probably 00:01:31.79\00:01:37.34 the last hope that I have to get well. 00:01:37.35\00:01:41.68 And figure out why I choose to reach 00:01:42.18\00:01:44.34 for the bottle instead of reaching out 00:01:44.35\00:01:48.78 to God or to my family. 00:01:48.79\00:01:50.55 I am on a mild antidepressant, 00:01:51.56\00:01:55.37 I am taking Antabus, so that I absolutely 00:01:56.19\00:02:02.68 do not pick up a drink, because the drug itself 00:02:03.04\00:02:06.68 is supposed to be a turbulent spanking 00:02:06.69\00:02:10.17 if you want to call it that. 00:02:10.18\00:02:11.60 And, and I am on also medicine 00:02:13.20\00:02:16.24 to help with the cravings, the alcohol withdrawals. 00:02:16.25\00:02:19.54 I'm starting to experience because it's just been 00:02:20.10\00:02:23.13 it's been less than a week 00:02:23.51\00:02:24.71 since I've had my last drink. 00:02:24.72\00:02:27.05 I know that if I put a 100 percent of myself 00:02:27.44\00:02:32.66 into this program I am going to come away 00:02:32.67\00:02:36.58 eighteen days from now with new attitude, 00:02:37.45\00:02:42.48 new wellness and hope that 00:02:43.11\00:02:47.21 there is a wonderful future out there for me, 00:02:47.22\00:02:50.43 that alcohol is no longer, in my, yes, 00:02:50.44\00:02:53.21 you know immediate, you know future, 00:02:53.22\00:02:55.96 I don't need it anymore. 00:02:55.97\00:02:57.10 Megan, that's a tragic story, 00:02:58.57\00:02:59.82 however here you are, maybe you can tell, 00:02:59.83\00:03:02.85 tell us a little bit more about what has happened 00:03:03.30\00:03:05.90 now that you're here, you're at Weimar, 00:03:05.91\00:03:08.10 you've made a commitment to make a change, 00:03:08.11\00:03:10.60 what changes have happened, 00:03:10.61\00:03:12.16 tell us about that? I hit a wall, 00:03:12.17\00:03:16.24 Ron at about day five because I was coming down 00:03:16.25\00:03:21.40 off of all the medications I was on. 00:03:21.41\00:03:24.04 My body wasn't filled with alcohol any longer, 00:03:24.42\00:03:28.19 so I had gone through the Detox, 00:03:28.20\00:03:29.96 it wasn't a pleasant time, sleepless nights, 00:03:31.07\00:03:34.66 adjusting to an environment where 00:03:36.26\00:03:38.67 you are around strangers 00:03:38.68\00:03:40.53 even though everyone here is helpful. 00:03:40.54\00:03:42.03 But day five I did hit the wall, 00:03:42.77\00:03:44.32 and realized okay, now my body is 00:03:45.30\00:03:48.63 on it's own to repair, to recover 00:03:48.64\00:03:51.65 and to begin that process of healing. 00:03:52.56\00:03:54.76 So, you look well by the way 00:03:55.83\00:03:57.57 I wanted to say that when I first saw you, 00:03:57.58\00:03:59.45 you look fantastic. Thank you, I feel great. 00:03:59.46\00:04:02.23 Are you through that process now of recuperating 00:04:02.24\00:04:07.17 or healing as you put? 00:04:07.18\00:04:08.77 I've been journaling Ron, 00:04:09.63\00:04:11.34 so I couldn't pretty much tell you 00:04:11.35\00:04:13.07 what day was the turning point. 00:04:13.08\00:04:15.24 For me it was day ten and I had done 00:04:15.60\00:04:18.66 quite a bit of walking during these ten days, 00:04:18.67\00:04:22.67 the first ten days. 00:04:22.68\00:04:23.91 Walking alone sometimes, walking with other guests. 00:04:24.42\00:04:27.98 But committing myself to adopting 00:04:30.16\00:04:34.54 all of the ingredients that this program offers. 00:04:34.55\00:04:38.35 Once that took hold, once I decided 00:04:39.68\00:04:42.17 to allow myself to take hold of 00:04:42.65\00:04:44.29 those special ingredients everything clicked. 00:04:44.30\00:04:48.03 And it was just a feeling of 00:04:48.45\00:04:51.41 I have so much more energy, 00:04:51.82\00:04:54.12 life is worth living, 00:04:55.06\00:04:56.52 I know that tomorrow is a new day, 00:04:56.96\00:04:59.81 I am going to get up and make it a good one 00:04:59.82\00:05:01.84 because I choose to. 00:05:02.28\00:05:03.67 So I've been equipped 00:05:04.12\00:05:06.04 with not only the healthy food 00:05:06.39\00:05:09.12 that is delicious to say the least 00:05:10.41\00:05:13.33 I mean it's just a wonderful food, 00:05:13.34\00:05:16.50 healthy wholesome, 00:05:16.51\00:05:17.63 it's the best thing that I could possibly 00:05:18.01\00:05:20.06 give my body for nutrition, 00:05:20.07\00:05:21.82 so that combined with all of the programs, 00:05:22.56\00:05:27.12 lectures, the cooking classes, 00:05:27.63\00:05:32.41 I'm not a cook 00:05:32.42\00:05:33.39 but I'm really excited about going home 00:05:33.42\00:05:35.44 and starting up my blender and food processor. 00:05:35.45\00:05:40.15 I'm really looking forward to it. 00:05:41.07\00:05:42.40 Great, great who do you feel here at Weimar 00:05:42.41\00:05:46.30 on the staff had an impact on your, 00:05:46.31\00:05:49.41 your that turning point? 00:05:49.42\00:05:51.39 I can't specifically say one individual 00:05:53.80\00:05:56.53 because everyone here has just seemed 00:05:57.13\00:06:01.44 to put themselves 100 percent in my corner. 00:06:01.45\00:06:05.16 And I know that there are other guests here. 00:06:06.05\00:06:08.31 But I feel that their attention to my needs, 00:06:08.60\00:06:12.78 my concerns, 00:06:13.30\00:06:14.30 my specific reasons for being here 00:06:14.31\00:06:16.60 have been met. 00:06:17.10\00:06:18.07 In fact Ron, on one occasion 00:06:18.66\00:06:20.46 Dr. Ing, my physician could not meet with me. 00:06:22.10\00:06:25.53 And at 7 PM I was just about ready to go 00:06:26.33\00:06:31.05 into lecture and my phone rang in my room. 00:06:31.06\00:06:34.39 And it was Dr. Ing calling from a location out of town 00:06:34.95\00:06:38.92 to check on me 00:06:39.56\00:06:40.53 and to see how are you doing today? 00:06:41.23\00:06:43.27 Were you able to walk today? 00:06:43.87\00:06:45.21 How's your mood? And I found that to be 00:06:45.62\00:06:48.48 just you know truly genuinely 00:06:48.98\00:06:51.32 concerned for my well being. 00:06:52.66\00:06:54.58 Yes. When was the last time 00:06:54.59\00:06:56.29 you had a doctor call you at home, 00:06:56.30\00:06:57.71 let alone at 7'o clock at night? 00:06:57.72\00:06:59.50 Has never happened, maybe a dentist 00:06:59.86\00:07:02.67 after I've had maybe a root canal 00:07:02.68\00:07:04.93 but no certainly not, 00:07:04.94\00:07:06.82 it's not, it's not a common thing. 00:07:06.83\00:07:08.49 Tell us a little bit more about, 00:07:09.76\00:07:11.16 now I know when you got here you, 00:07:11.80\00:07:13.09 I think you mentioned in our previous interview 00:07:13.44\00:07:16.57 that you hadn't walk very much 00:07:16.58\00:07:18.19 but how much you doing today, 00:07:18.20\00:07:20.00 I mean you look like such a picture of health 00:07:20.01\00:07:22.40 I can't believe that this is the lady that came here 00:07:22.41\00:07:25.37 two weeks ago with all these problems? 00:07:25.38\00:07:27.70 Well week one, I was able to walk 72 miles 00:07:28.15\00:07:33.50 on beautiful trails, in a whole week, 00:07:34.24\00:07:37.13 in the whole week, oh my goodness, 00:07:37.14\00:07:38.91 I bought that pedometer from the Weimar store 00:07:39.39\00:07:42.51 and kept track of each step. 00:07:42.52\00:07:44.66 And that translated into 72 miles. 00:07:45.29\00:07:48.35 Week two, 00:07:48.36\00:07:49.39 my energy level was really picking up 00:07:49.78\00:07:51.91 because of all the healthy foods 00:07:52.27\00:07:53.72 and I walked 92 miles. Oh my goodness. 00:07:54.09\00:07:58.36 So, probably by the conclusion of the program, 00:07:58.37\00:08:01.83 I will have walked a little short of 200 miles. 00:08:01.84\00:08:05.94 That's fantastic. So yeah. 00:08:06.42\00:08:08.77 What are your, 00:08:08.78\00:08:09.75 are you been in touch with your husband, 00:08:09.76\00:08:11.21 does he know about all the changes, 00:08:11.22\00:08:12.88 is he excited this at least? 00:08:12.89\00:08:14.99 One of the benefits of this program 00:08:15.00\00:08:17.59 has been the ability 00:08:18.08\00:08:19.35 for family to come and interact. 00:08:19.36\00:08:22.73 My husband has come on two occasions, 00:08:23.57\00:08:26.20 he, this last occasion he spent the night, 00:08:26.78\00:08:29.18 so he was able to go through 00:08:29.98\00:08:31.89 about twenty four hours of the program with me. 00:08:31.90\00:08:35.30 And upon his leaving we were standing, 00:08:35.86\00:08:40.45 I was outside of the car 00:08:40.46\00:08:41.88 and he was just looking at me 00:08:42.21\00:08:43.85 and I said well bye honey and I'll see you soon. 00:08:44.66\00:08:47.00 And he just continued to look at me, 00:08:47.58\00:08:49.40 and he said honey, 00:08:50.43\00:08:52.04 you look so happy and healthy and young. 00:08:52.05\00:08:56.54 I haven't heard him compliment me 00:08:57.60\00:09:00.52 like that Ron in a very long time. 00:09:00.53\00:09:02.55 I know I was a big disappointment to him, 00:09:03.69\00:09:05.97 yes, but this program 00:09:05.98\00:09:09.12 has really allowed me to think about 00:09:09.50\00:09:12.93 my relationships not only with my husband 00:09:12.94\00:09:15.77 but with my other two children 00:09:16.47\00:09:18.01 and my immediate family. 00:09:18.43\00:09:19.88 And how much they've missed me 00:09:19.89\00:09:22.52 because I have not been myself. 00:09:22.99\00:09:24.61 Wow, so well put, I know that 00:09:25.90\00:09:28.44 you are gonna be an asset to your family. 00:09:28.45\00:09:30.66 In fact I know that before you even got here, 00:09:31.00\00:09:33.64 but now you've got something that you know 00:09:33.65\00:09:36.84 that you can give back 00:09:36.85\00:09:37.99 and I know that you'll continue on the program. 00:09:38.00\00:09:40.91 And it's so wonderful to see you, 00:09:40.92\00:09:43.53 you're just glowing. Okay, wonderful. 00:13:49.79\00:13:53.13 Can you give us some examples of 00:13:53.84\00:13:56.37 how people regain their new lifestyle 00:13:57.17\00:14:04.12 with your assistance? 00:14:04.13\00:14:05.27 Well, I have to give the large portion of 00:14:06.78\00:14:10.91 the credit to Jesus Christ. Amen. 00:14:10.92\00:14:14.65 I truly believe that without the guidance of 00:14:15.10\00:14:19.36 the Holy Spirit through the ministry of Christ 00:14:19.37\00:14:24.13 I wouldn't be able to do nothing. 00:14:24.53\00:14:26.78 So my first obligation is to ask God's direction 00:14:27.18\00:14:33.03 because He reads people's heart 00:14:33.86\00:14:35.99 so I ask Him to read and then instruct me. 00:14:36.83\00:14:41.50 And I must admit that I am amazed at myself 00:14:42.70\00:14:48.13 some of the words that come out of my mouth. 00:14:48.48\00:14:50.74 And the person responds by saying 00:14:51.47\00:14:55.30 that was just for me. And it's a reassurance 00:14:55.31\00:14:58.82 for me that it is from God. Amen. 00:14:58.83\00:15:01.33 Well, that's pretty amazing, 00:15:03.26\00:15:05.83 you'll get these inspirations 00:15:05.84\00:15:09.57 as I would view them, 00:15:10.02\00:15:11.51 can you give us any specific cases, 00:15:12.05\00:15:14.11 of course without mentioning 00:15:14.12\00:15:15.48 any names and such? 00:15:15.49\00:15:17.21 I think I can do that, many times 00:15:22.30\00:15:26.34 people come with an emptiness 00:15:26.35\00:15:34.18 and yet there is a desire 00:15:34.19\00:15:37.10 to want to reconnect with God. 00:15:37.11\00:15:39.95 And so I take that as a sign that 00:15:40.70\00:15:46.02 God is giving me to give them that guidance. 00:15:46.03\00:15:50.44 And so my first obligation then is to try myself 00:15:51.15\00:15:55.96 to be founded in the world of God. 00:15:55.97\00:15:58.93 And to share with Him God's word to assure 00:15:59.81\00:16:05.49 and reassure them that there is living vital power 00:16:05.50\00:16:10.91 in the word of God. And that in utilizing 00:16:10.92\00:16:16.13 that word they have a great defense. 00:16:16.14\00:16:19.52 I know that Megan openly said that some 00:16:22.21\00:16:26.65 very magnificent things took place in her life. 00:16:26.66\00:16:31.35 And in just 14 days so far that she's been here. 00:16:31.36\00:16:34.89 And how she's gotten off of alcohol 00:16:35.29\00:16:37.76 and she's looking to God through different eyes. 00:16:37.77\00:16:42.19 And how her whole her entire life 00:16:42.20\00:16:44.25 and actually she's gotten her life back. 00:16:44.26\00:16:46.65 And I know she attributed 00:16:47.25\00:16:49.14 a lot of that with your guidance. 00:16:49.15\00:16:52.06 And that to me is proof that it is God, 00:16:53.43\00:16:57.13 because I tell you when I was taking psychology, 00:16:58.03\00:17:03.26 I remember wondering 00:17:04.11\00:17:06.44 why they had such challenges themselves. 00:17:06.45\00:17:09.94 Now I understand that without the grace of God, 00:17:09.95\00:17:13.92 dealing with the human mind 00:17:14.52\00:17:16.42 which is the most magnificent creation 00:17:16.43\00:17:20.51 that you and I could ever come in contact 00:17:20.94\00:17:24.39 with without the guidance of God, we can't. 00:17:24.40\00:17:29.10 But with His help we can do magnificent things. 00:17:29.54\00:17:34.61 So I feel that each person that comes 00:17:35.03\00:17:37.66 and requests that reconnection with God 00:17:37.67\00:17:42.71 by God's grace and with His help 00:17:43.92\00:17:46.34 I'm excited about helping them along that journey. 00:17:46.72\00:17:50.35 Yes, so what I'm hearing you say 00:17:51.01\00:17:54.81 and correct me if I am wrong please 00:17:54.82\00:17:56.75 that Newstart that acronym, that trust in the Lord 00:17:57.14\00:18:01.89 is where you come in, exactly, 00:18:01.90\00:18:03.93 and actually share that with our guests. 00:18:03.94\00:18:06.95 And do you have meetings, prayer meetings 00:18:06.96\00:18:10.49 in the morning or 00:18:10.50\00:18:11.47 some sort of gathering every morning? 00:18:11.48\00:18:13.35 Yes, at 7:45 in the morning, 00:18:13.85\00:18:17.71 we have a fresh start 00:18:18.08\00:18:20.42 right after breakfast interesting time. 00:18:21.49\00:18:26.06 When sometimes they might, 00:18:26.67\00:18:28.75 especially if they haven't had their fresh walk, 00:18:28.97\00:18:32.23 be feeling like taking a fresh nap, 00:18:34.78\00:18:37.20 so by the grace of God it is my responsibility 00:18:38.00\00:18:41.62 to try and present encouraging words 00:18:41.63\00:18:46.57 from the throne of grace to let people feel 00:18:47.22\00:18:52.36 that connection sense that there is hope. 00:18:52.37\00:18:56.84 They don't have to live in negative despair-lent 00:18:57.33\00:19:02.82 that they can actually not just survive 00:19:03.29\00:19:08.20 but live a vibrant, happy, joyful life. 00:19:08.21\00:19:12.54 So there are two various topics 00:19:12.55\00:19:16.27 I tried to present that message of trusting God 00:19:16.57\00:19:21.44 and what it results in. 00:19:21.84\00:19:24.70 A life of joy and peace for you. 00:19:25.18\00:19:27.99 Well said, now I understand that 00:19:29.72\00:19:33.19 you also keep in contact with alumni 00:19:33.20\00:19:38.60 as they come through the program, 00:19:38.61\00:19:40.13 I heard that you actually write to folks 00:19:40.53\00:19:43.31 and you call them and keep in contact 00:19:43.32\00:19:45.83 after the program is over? 00:19:45.84\00:19:47.60 That is true, from time to time 00:19:48.40\00:19:51.41 they request continuing counseling 00:19:51.75\00:19:54.89 as well as continual Bible study, 00:19:54.90\00:19:58.95 if a relative dies, I also try to be there for them. 00:20:00.25\00:20:08.00 Call, express our sympathy, send a sympathy card, 00:20:08.84\00:20:15.26 just to let them know we are here. 00:20:15.27\00:20:17.23 And we are praying for you 00:20:17.88\00:20:19.85 before they leave in fact 00:20:20.78\00:20:22.57 I actually take their prayer requests. 00:20:22.96\00:20:27.14 And every day when I am having my morning devotions 00:20:27.15\00:20:31.56 I present their names before the throne of grace. 00:20:32.01\00:20:36.48 An accessory prayer. I call it the Newstart morning stretch. 00:21:47.97\00:21:50.87 Okay. And this is gonna be the 00:21:50.88\00:21:52.47 abbreviated version. Great. 00:21:52.48\00:21:54.06 And basically the stretch is going to be 00:21:54.07\00:21:57.77 involving every major muscle group, 00:21:57.78\00:21:59.81 starting from the neck and moving down, 00:22:00.10\00:22:03.11 so it's real systematic, it's easy to remember. 00:22:03.12\00:22:04.90 Okay, good. 00:22:04.91\00:22:05.88 The first thing we need to do though is 00:22:05.89\00:22:07.72 we need to get our breathing, nice and deep. 00:22:08.87\00:22:12.37 And the way that we can do that is 00:22:12.38\00:22:14.46 to kind of test as we grow older 00:22:14.47\00:22:16.54 we learn how not to breathe. Yeah. 00:22:16.55\00:22:18.26 This is to teach us how to breathe correctly again. 00:22:18.27\00:22:20.61 Okay. What you do is 00:22:20.62\00:22:21.59 you put your fingertips together 00:22:21.60\00:22:22.91 and you put your fingertips right across 00:22:22.92\00:22:24.75 the bottom of your rib cage. 00:22:25.13\00:22:26.38 And you breathe in through your nose 00:22:26.76\00:22:28.14 and out through your mouth. Okay. 00:22:28.15\00:22:29.60 As you do that, you should feel that your fingertips 00:22:30.90\00:22:33.93 come apart and back together. 00:22:33.94\00:22:35.75 Oh, okay. In other words 00:22:35.76\00:22:36.73 your abdomen will arise and form. 00:22:36.74\00:22:38.46 Okay. Okay, take deep breathe; 00:22:38.47\00:22:40.56 you take several of those deep breaths. 00:22:40.57\00:22:42.42 The next stretch that we are going to do 00:22:43.17\00:22:44.93 is called the Elephant Trunk. 00:22:44.94\00:22:46.59 Okay. And what we do on the 00:22:46.60\00:22:48.43 the Elephant Trunk is we are going to come up 00:22:48.44\00:22:50.48 very high, very high on your tip toes, 00:22:50.86\00:22:53.29 if you can, if you don't have ankle problems, 00:22:53.30\00:22:55.23 big deep breathe again. And your feet are apart, 00:22:55.65\00:22:58.39 you come down and then you just swing 00:22:58.40\00:23:01.88 your arms back and forth just like 00:23:01.89\00:23:03.88 your elephant trunk. While you are down 00:23:03.89\00:23:06.15 there you can take another big deep breathe 00:23:06.16\00:23:08.32 relaxing the lower back, just concentrating on 00:23:08.68\00:23:12.20 relaxing the lower back and the spine, 00:23:12.21\00:23:14.44 okay as we come up we are going to bend 00:23:14.80\00:23:17.74 our knees slightly, suck in our stomach 00:23:17.75\00:23:19.67 and then stand up 00:23:20.00\00:23:20.97 that's to help project the lower back. 00:23:21.21\00:23:22.87 Okay. The second or the third stretch 00:23:22.88\00:23:24.95 actually is going to be with the neck. 00:23:24.96\00:23:26.69 Okay, and we're gonna go ear to shoulder, 00:23:26.70\00:23:29.22 so in this case we'll go ear to shoulder. 00:23:29.95\00:23:31.63 And sometimes people get a little mixed up, 00:23:32.52\00:23:34.36 but if you go right ear to the right shoulder 00:23:34.37\00:23:36.48 then you use your right hand to gently 00:23:36.87\00:23:39.47 rest not pull on the top of your head. 00:23:39.48\00:23:43.12 And then you go to the other side. 00:23:43.51\00:23:45.02 That's true most people pull. 00:23:45.52\00:23:46.58 Now the weight of the arm is plenty for that, 00:23:47.84\00:23:50.87 yes, okay, by the way continue to breathe deeply, 00:23:50.88\00:23:53.97 in through the nose, out through the mouth. 00:23:54.31\00:23:55.77 The next stretch is chin to chest. 00:23:56.47\00:23:58.46 And by the way these are all, 00:23:58.47\00:24:00.09 these three we're gonna have three, 00:24:00.46\00:24:01.74 and they have to do with the neck. 00:24:01.75\00:24:02.98 Chin to chest, down we go, 00:24:03.37\00:24:04.80 we clasp our hands and gently rests 00:24:05.14\00:24:07.48 our hands on the back of our head. 00:24:07.49\00:24:09.03 And once again we go through our count 00:24:09.36\00:24:11.31 and back up again, 00:24:11.68\00:24:13.11 that's the second next stretch. 00:24:13.48\00:24:15.41 Okay. The third next stretch is 00:24:15.42\00:24:16.83 one that doesn't get done very often. 00:24:16.84\00:24:18.66 But we have done this direction 00:24:19.05\00:24:20.22 and we've done this direction. 00:24:20.23\00:24:21.40 And now we're gonna go at a forty five degree angle. 00:24:21.41\00:24:23.72 That is the opposite side of the neck 00:24:24.15\00:24:26.75 so we simply get our hand 00:24:27.34\00:24:28.62 once again we gently rest 00:24:28.97\00:24:30.66 and we will go from that side to this side. 00:24:31.43\00:24:37.00 So again, you're just resting the weights, 00:24:37.40\00:24:39.14 just resting that's right, 00:24:39.15\00:24:40.12 we're not pushing, we're not pulling. 00:24:40.13\00:24:41.37 And can you feel the opposite muscle? 00:24:41.38\00:24:43.25 Yes, just I get. Alright, very good. 00:24:43.26\00:24:44.71 Now we are moving down. Okay. 00:24:44.72\00:24:46.96 We're going to do our hands. 00:24:48.20\00:24:49.30 And many people, many of our guests 00:24:49.66\00:24:52.37 have problems with their fingers and their wrists. 00:24:52.38\00:24:54.38 Yes. So all you do with this, 00:24:54.39\00:24:55.73 you just get every joint in 00:24:55.74\00:24:58.03 your finger nice and supple. 00:24:58.04\00:24:59.44 The next one is wrist circles, wrist circles. 00:24:59.77\00:25:03.48 That's important, people working at desk, computers. 00:25:03.49\00:25:05.54 And then we get our 00:25:05.55\00:25:06.96 fore arm rotators into the action, 00:25:06.97\00:25:08.49 and we do the exact same things 00:25:08.85\00:25:10.57 you just get those fingers moving 00:25:10.58\00:25:11.90 and then preferably the opposite direction 00:25:11.91\00:25:14.64 in your wrist circles. Alright, the next stretch, 00:25:14.65\00:25:17.44 we're gonna work on our chest 00:25:17.82\00:25:19.02 and the back of our shoulders. 00:25:19.35\00:25:21.53 We come up back and back. 00:25:21.88\00:25:24.81 And back and back, you have to be very careful, 00:25:26.04\00:25:29.36 don't pull too much, okay, 00:25:29.65\00:25:30.88 this is where we're working right here, 00:25:30.89\00:25:32.08 so this is the chest muscle, okay. 00:25:32.09\00:25:33.53 We have done this side, now we do this side. 00:25:33.88\00:25:36.32 We come straight across 00:25:36.71\00:25:37.91 and a little bit of snub pull on that, okay. 00:25:38.32\00:25:41.05 And you should feel the back of your shoulder. 00:25:41.06\00:25:42.68 Yes, yes. Very good 00:25:42.69\00:25:44.38 and then we do both sides on that. Okay. 00:25:44.39\00:25:47.24 The next stretch is going to be shoulder rolls 00:25:47.57\00:25:50.21 and it's really more of a 00:25:50.22\00:25:51.35 developmental stretch than anything, okay. 00:25:51.36\00:25:54.33 And you do very large, large circles. 00:25:54.34\00:25:57.60 You go a number of times in that direction 00:25:57.61\00:26:00.05 then you reverse that exactly. 00:26:00.06\00:26:02.99 This is something that you can even do at desk 00:26:03.00\00:26:04.24 if you're sitting at desk at work or something. 00:26:04.25\00:26:05.70 Some of these, that's the upper body, 00:26:05.71\00:26:06.87 you really can do these things on your desk, okay. 00:26:06.88\00:26:08.19 Okay, the next one is going to be, 00:26:08.20\00:26:10.03 we are still working on our shoulders, okay, 00:26:10.49\00:26:12.10 we're gonna be going out with our palms up, 00:26:12.11\00:26:14.59 okay, you can do your, do with these palms down 00:26:14.60\00:26:16.83 but once again you are getting 00:26:16.84\00:26:18.17 your fore arms into the action here. Okay. 00:26:18.18\00:26:19.75 So palms up this is called 00:26:20.11\00:26:21.66 the little circles to big circles. Okay. 00:26:21.67\00:26:23.28 This is exactly what it is, so around we go, 00:26:23.29\00:26:26.06 so as we go, our arms are getting larger 00:26:26.07\00:26:30.06 and larger circles pretty soon it's like this. 00:26:30.07\00:26:32.63 Move forward. And as you can see 00:26:32.64\00:26:34.59 all of our rotators of our shoulders 00:26:34.60\00:26:37.35 are getting worked now, okay. 00:26:37.36\00:26:39.41 And the you go the opposite direction. 00:26:39.76\00:26:41.57 Opposite direction.
