Amen. 07:30 To illustrate to you how jittery this world has become... 07:36 even over the summer. 07:37 I need to tell you about a bus ride 07:38 that Karen and I took in just outside of London, England 07:42 back in July. 07:45 We were over there for ASI Europe 07:48 and I had a weekend preaching series to do 07:50 with those business leaders from across Europe. 07:53 And before the meetings began that evening 07:55 Karen and I took a city bus into a-- 07:58 a city called Bracknell, 08:00 maybe you've never heard of it but a nice little English town 08:03 and we got on the bus 08:04 and some rambunctious school kids got on the bus with us, 08:07 since so I figured that's why we were hearing this recording. 08:12 Because no sooner had the kids gotten on the bus then this PA, 08:16 it's just a pre-recorded voice 08:18 speaks out over the intercom system of the city bus, 08:21 a very proper English male accent 08:25 and he spoke words I'd never heard before 08:27 and so I had my bus ticket, I'm carrying this in my wallet. 08:30 And so I scribbled it down on the back of this bus ticket 08:34 because the-- the voice over the PA says, 08:36 this bus is under attack, please dial 999. 08:43 Now 999 is their equivalent of our 911, our emergency number. 08:50 This bus is under attack, it kept repeating please dial 999. 08:55 And I'm looking around to everybody, 08:57 it looks fairly normal to people on this bus. 09:00 This bus is under attack, please dial 999. 09:05 As we are now driving down the road, 09:07 I'm realizing that the people outside of the bus 09:12 are hearing the same recording. 09:14 And the poor bus driver, he is pounding the dash 09:18 trying to get this pre-recorded message off. 09:22 Because it's somehow accidentally got on. 09:25 Now, guys, we laugh but let me tell what, 09:28 I never knew this before 09:29 but just a year ago when we were there, 09:32 in fact they had a minute 09:33 Big Ben told at noon the next day 09:36 one minute of silence across the United Kingdom 09:38 because of the terror attacks exactly a year earlier 09:41 on the double-decker bus, you remember it in the subway. 09:44 So yeah, we laughs, well, come on, 09:47 they now have all their city buses equipped 09:49 so that in a moment of emergency 09:51 that driver can reach over and just push this button 09:54 and he can alert the whole world around the bus, 09:56 we are under attack somebody call 999. 10:01 We got off that bus, by the way I took a picture of the bus, 10:03 I want you to see it and it's a beautiful little English bus. 10:06 It's advertising a movie on the back entitled Spellbreaker. 10:08 I thought boy that's 'cause that's what-- 10:10 that's what that bus was, it broke the spell. 10:14 Can you imagine, 10:15 city bus is now equipped for terrorism attacks? 10:20 The driver said as we're getting off the bus, he said, 10:21 I saw three people pull up their cell phones 10:23 and dialed 999. 10:25 He says, it's a wonder 10:26 the police haven't found us yet. 10:28 What's the point, ladies and gentlemen? 10:30 I tell you what the point is. The point is very simple. 10:33 Given the events of the last few weeks and months 10:36 on this planet, 10:38 we are living in a civilization 10:40 where 999 or 911 has become the operative number anymore. 10:47 Coincidently just days after we were there, 10:50 Scotland Yard arrested 20 English terrorists 10:55 because of an alleged plot 10:57 to blow up 10 transatlantic flights 10:59 from England to the United States. 11:02 Days later the Israeli Hezbollah war breaks out. 11:07 I'm telling you what, after just this summer 11:09 you may as well re-record that message. 11:10 This world is under attack, please dial 999. 11:14 We're starting to hear them, folks. 11:15 We are starting to hear them, rumors from the east. 11:21 We launch a brand new series today 11:22 and with that title "Rumors from the East." 11:28 They're growing louder and louder 11:31 and in this series not coincidentally, 11:35 not coincidentally tie to my friend Doug Batchelor's 11:39 most amazing prophecies 11:41 that begins two weeks from last night. 11:45 Doug and I are both moving into prophecy this semester, 11:47 you know why? 11:48 Because as true preachers of the Bible, 11:51 we've come to recognize and I'm gonna blame us baby boomers, 11:55 don't you feel like I'm blaming you. 11:57 It is not your fault 11:58 but those of us who are baby boomers 12:00 and who have children, it's our fault. 12:02 We got so burn with prophecy, 12:05 so tired of hearing prophecy being preach 12:08 that as a defensive mechanism, 12:09 we baby boomers have backed off and we've now raised, 12:13 I'm sorry but we've raised now 12:14 a prophetically illiterate generation 12:17 in our community of faith, prophetically illiterate. 12:20 Most of you don't know diddly-squat about prophecy. 12:24 It's true, you don't 'cause nobody had spent time with you. 12:30 So Doug's coming two weeks, nine nights in a row, 12:33 you gonna, you'll never be the same again 12:34 because of that Bible teaching. 12:36 And I hope that this little series 12:38 will take us only half way through this semester 12:39 book ended on either side of Doug Batchelor 12:41 will be helpful for you as well. 12:44 We're gonna go today for example to a prophecy, 12:46 most of you have never read this chapter in he Bible, 12:48 we'll read the chapter together today. 12:50 The Book of Daniel, open your Bible please 12:52 to the Book of Daniel Chapter 10. 12:56 Daniel Chapter 10, this will be obscure prophecies 13:00 that we go to by the way because some of you-- 13:01 some of you wise and old veterans are saying, 13:04 there is nothing in this for me. 13:06 We're gonna go to prophecies you have been to. 13:08 We're gonna go deep into the Bible. 13:10 It's time for new generation to reclaim its prophetic heritage. 13:13 Amen. 13:14 You're the generation 13:16 and you've never read Daniel 10 before, 13:17 so today you're gonna read it in church. 13:20 I'm gonna be in the New King James Version 13:22 which incidentally will be the version 13:24 that my friend Doug will be in, 13:25 Pastor Doug will be in the New King James. 13:27 That's the pew Bibles are New King James, 13:29 I want to invite you to select a translation, 13:31 doesn't matter to me which one you pick. 13:33 You can pick the New International, 13:34 I love that one, 13:35 but pick a Bible that you're now gonna begin to mark up. 13:39 Your Bible is going to change, its appearance will change. 13:42 You gonna get study guides 13:43 for all our Sabbath morning teachings 13:44 and Doug will have handouts as well. 13:47 Bring your same-- the same old Bible that you are used to 13:49 and let that be the one that you that-- 13:52 that you go to in this teaching time. 13:54 So I'm gonna be in the New King James 13:55 for this entire teaching series. 13:57 I think on the balance, 13:59 it's gonna be the most effective translation for us. 14:01 Daniel Chapter 10 page number if-- 14:03 if you didn't bring your Bible, we'll put it on the screen 14:05 but please don't take the screen's word for it, 14:06 I want you to read it from your pew Bible 14:08 and that would be page 604, 14:11 pull your Pew Bible out, page 604. 14:13 Everybody's got a Bible today. 14:16 Daniel 10:1 "In the third year of Cyrus..." 14:19 Everybody turn to Cyrus 14:20 "Cyrus king of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel, 14:24 whose name was called Belteshazzar." 14:27 How do you like that? That boy has two names. 14:30 Do you know why he has two names? 14:32 Because he is a captive that's why. 14:34 He got the second name for being taken into exile. 14:37 I mean, come on, guys, those of you that are freshmen 14:40 because Daniel was 18 we know that Daniel was 18 14:42 at the time of his arrest in captivity, 14:44 so you try to imagine this, 14:46 the rest of us can plug into his sandals as well. 14:48 Try to imagine, 14:49 you're just getting ready to go after collage, 14:51 18 or 19 years of age, 14:52 terrorists rage your hometown and in the middle of the night 14:55 kidnap you from out of your own bed. 14:58 Gag you, bound, they bind you, 15:01 toss you in the back of a trunk, 15:02 trunks driven to a truck, truck is driven to a plane, 15:06 plane flies, flies who knows where, 15:08 and when it's all taken off, you discover 15:11 that you are now the resident of a foreign nation. 15:15 You are given a foreign name belonging to a foreign God, 15:20 from a foreign religion that you are now required to attend. 15:24 You are sent to foreign schools with a foreign language 15:29 in order that you might one day serve a foreign government. 15:33 Some of you international students are saying, 15:35 you know what, that's exactly how it was 15:37 coming to Andrews University. 15:42 That was Daniel, 18 years of age 15:45 Chapter 1, 605 BC taken into captivity 15:48 70 years later we come to Daniel 10, 15:52 70 plus 18 he is 88 years of age 15:56 but way back here at the age of 18 Daniel said, 15:59 I maybe a captive but I'm not gonna serve my captor's God, 16:03 I will always belong to the God of Israel. 16:05 Amen. 16:06 The God of the redeemer, the God of the creator, 16:09 the God who is the God, Almighty God of the universe. 16:12 But you think about it, guys, 70 interminable years. 16:17 You never gonna see your mom and dad again, 16:19 never gonna see mom and dad again, 16:21 be like you could never go home, 16:22 you're here at Andrews, you'll never go home again. 16:25 Never see your own bedroom again, 16:28 never see your baseball card collection again, never. 16:32 70 years you're gone, 16:33 you are now 88 years of age, that's Daniel. 16:35 And by the way Daniel's name 'God is my judge' 16:38 that's what it means in the Hebrew. 16:39 Go ahead and call Belteshazzar, 16:41 named after Bel the Babylonian God. 16:43 You may call me after your God, 16:44 but I have a name and my God is my judge. 16:48 Every time Daniel whispered his name to himself 16:51 because nobody else called it that way. 16:53 He would whisper but I'm Daniel, God, 16:57 El the God is my judge, he never forgot. 17:02 Daniel 10:1 "In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia 17:05 a message was revealed to Daniel, 17:07 whose name was called Belteshazzar. 17:08 The message was true, but the appointed time was long 17:12 and he understood the message, 17:14 and had understanding of the vision." 17:18 Daniel is about to receive 17:21 the most comprehensive and detailed prophecy 17:24 recorded anywhere in scripture, 17:26 it's not just Daniel 10, 17:27 it's also Daniel 11, it's also 12, 17:30 it's the longest in the whole Bible. 17:33 It will be his final prophecy. 17:34 It's the last prophecy, 17:36 he will write before he dies of old age. 17:39 This is it. Do you know what the prophecy is about? 17:43 Verse 1 that we just read is actually 17:44 a one sentence summarization of this long prophecy 17:49 but I must tell you 17:50 here we just started with the New King James, 17:51 the NIV actually more accurately renders this verse 17:54 and so I want to put the NIV on the screen. 17:56 One sentence summary of this longest of all prophecies 17:59 "Its message was true and it concerned" 18:01 say it with me "It concerned a" what? 18:03 "A great war." 18:06 In fact that summation is so critical, 18:07 I wish you'd write it down. 18:08 Take out your study guide. 18:09 You have one in your worship bulletin this morning. 18:11 By the way do you like the new worship bulletins? 18:14 I hope you get to like them. 18:15 Do you have any suggestions, 18:17 you know, we gave you an email address, 18:19 so you send us, you let us-- let us hear from you. 18:23 Open up your worship bulletin, 18:24 there is a brand new study guide. 18:26 Now look at it, a bunch of you came in with one bulletin 18:28 so that means the ushers know what to do. 18:30 Hold your hand up because there is some-- 18:32 there are some key teachings here that you must get. 18:33 Hold your hand up. 18:35 We'll make sure you get it and while they're doing that, 18:36 those of you are watching on television right now, 18:38 let me put our website on the screen. 18:39 And you can go and get the same the identical study guide 18:42 www.pmchurch.tv. 18:46 You see it there on the screen. Go to that website. 18:48 If you're watching a DVD, the neat thing is 18:50 you can just put your DDV on pause right now, 18:52 lock that website on your screen, 18:54 go to your computer and go to the web 18:57 and download the study guide. 18:58 You will have the identical study guide as we do. 19:01 I mean you'll have the answers even at the bottom. 19:03 And so that's all there for you. 19:05 We'll give you moment to do that. 19:07 Hold your hand up in the balcony. 19:08 I want to make sure everybody gets today's teaching. 19:11 As we launch this new series "Rumors from the East." 19:14 And by the way those of you going to the web, 19:15 that's what you got to go for. 19:16 You look for the series "Rumors from the East." 19:18 This is part 1, Rumors from the East, part 1, 19:21 click on there, and you get your study guide. 19:24 All right let's fill it in. Study Guide-- 19:25 right there at the top of the study guide you see it. 19:29 Now, I'm gonna get mine here, all right there it is, 19:31 fill it in please Daniel 10, 19:33 you have to write in the number 10. 19:34 "Daniel 10 is the introduction 19:36 to the longest and most comprehensive prophecy 19:39 in all scripture, all the Bible." 19:42 Jot that down please, keep your pen moving. 19:44 It is summarized. Daniel 10 is summarized with this sentence. 19:47 "Its message was true and concerned a great war." 19:52 Daniel 10:1 NIV, write in the word war. 19:55 Now I love the American English because what we do is 19:58 we take a noun and we turn it into a verb, 20:00 we do it all the time 20:01 and so I'm gonna now use it a noun that-- 20:03 that we've all turned into a verb. 20:05 Google, when you Google all right 20:08 it sounds dumb, don't it? 20:09 When you Google the words World War III, 20:14 go to your web and do that, 20:17 you will be as astounded as I was 20:19 to discover how often those words World War III 20:23 are now appearing on the lips of the-- 20:26 the talking heads, the political commentators, 20:29 you know, politicians, 20:32 just this last week, it's in your study guide, 20:33 just this last week the what's-- 20:36 what's this called the Angus Reid Global Scan 20:38 released a poll. 20:39 Get this. 20:40 42% of American respondents think 20:43 humanity is headed towards World War III, 20:47 and 20% believe it has already begun. 20:52 Isn't that amazing? 20:53 Just as a result of this summer, 20:55 rumors from the east. 20:57 And I don't know what you're thinking, 20:58 when you think of those rumors for the east, you're saying, 21:00 oh, come on, Dwight, what it's gonna be, Iran today, 21:03 Iraq next Sabbath, Israel the following Sabbath, 21:06 Islam the fourth those are four great I's, you are right. 21:09 And I tell you what? 21:11 A media fed public is developing anxiety 21:15 over those four great I's Israel, Iran, Iraq and Islam. 21:21 But I need to tell you, I need be really upfront with you, 21:23 these rumors that we are now hearing, 21:26 growing louder and louder 21:27 straight out of ancient prophecy. 21:29 These rumors do not have to do with the four I's 21:33 of our preoccupation today. 21:35 No, no, no, no, no it's gonna come from another direction, 21:39 that's all a distraction, that's all a distraction. 21:42 Look at World War III may come, I have no idea, 21:45 but the rumors from the east 21:46 are not about World War III either. 21:49 Another set of rumors in the midst of all of this 21:53 that we have to begin to hear it clearly. 21:56 All right, let's go to verse 2 so in those days, okay, 22:00 third year of Cyrus and this is verse 2 22:01 "In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks." 22:06 What did he do during those three full weeks, 22:08 verse 3 "I ate no pleasant food, 22:11 no meat or wine came into my mouth, 22:13 nor did I anoint myself at all, 22:15 till three whole weeks were fulfilled." 22:20 What's happening here? 22:21 Daniel has heard some rumors from the west, 22:24 because you see, he is in Babylon 22:26 and to the west of Babylon is... home Jerusalem. 22:32 Now Daniel on purposely puts the date 22:34 the third year of Cyrus the king 22:36 so that we know that he knows 22:38 that there is trouble brewing at home. 22:40 Because Daniel watched as this mighty Medo-Persian king 22:44 pronounces and heed it and says that handful, 22:46 that rag tag band of exiles you may go back, 22:49 you may begin to rebuild your city. 22:53 But it's gone bad for that rag tag band 22:57 and Daniel is worried sick over rumors from the west, 23:02 and so he sets to praying. 23:04 He sets out to do what Daniel does best 23:06 whenever he runs into a crisis. 23:08 Write this down please 23:09 when Daniel is faced with the crisis, 23:10 he goes to his knees over and over and over again 23:15 in the Book of Daniel. 23:16 He goes to his knees. In fact jot this down. 23:19 I kind of liked how this look like a side of a pyramid. 23:22 You can only do that in English language, 23:24 but jot this down, crisis chapter-- 23:25 Daniel Chapter 1 crisis over a diet. 23:28 Write that down, crisis over morality, 23:30 concerning the body temple. 23:32 I like that little expression we saw 23:34 a moment ago on the sanctuary. 23:37 When I think of sanctuary I think of my body temple. 23:39 It's not a bad thing to think about. 23:41 Crisis over diet, Daniel goes to his knees. 23:43 Daniel 2, crisis over a dream. 23:45 Nebuchadnezzar's dream big crisis. 23:46 You're gonna be dead if you don't tell me the dream. 23:49 Crisis 3 is from Daniel Chapter 6 23:52 that's over a decree, remember? 23:54 The decree for 30 days, 23:56 30 days nobody prays to anybody but the king. 23:59 Daniel kneels down and praised his God 24:01 still three times a day. 24:03 Crisis number 4 Daniel Chapter 9, 24:05 it's crisis over a decision. 24:06 God, what are You going to deicide 24:08 about the holy people, Israel? 24:11 And crisis number 5, we just read it. 24:13 It's crisis over a difficulty. 24:15 Some of you are gonna have difficulty back at home 24:17 a long ways away from where you are in this school year, 24:19 its' gonna be a crisis for you. 24:21 Stuff is happening in your parents marriage, 24:23 stuff is happening back at home 24:25 and it's gonna be a crisis for you here, 24:26 you're gonna have to do like Daniel did. 24:28 You got to go to your knees. 24:30 When you come to a crisis, you go to your knees. 24:32 Because there are times 24:33 when the only potent recourse for you and me 24:36 is to fast and pray. 24:39 Some of you right now are in a private crisis, 24:41 can you believe this? 24:42 The year is just days old 24:44 and you're already in a private crisis. 24:47 Not all of you are students. 24:49 Some of you have a private crisis going on right now. 24:52 Nobody knows about it but you and God, 24:53 maybe nobody needs to know about it but you and God, 24:55 but that doesn't matter you know. 24:57 I just want to appeal to you, my friend, 24:59 as I appeal to myself, 25:01 I hope we are not of this self sufficient mindset 25:04 that says, huh, you know what? 25:05 God already knows about my trouble, 25:07 I'm not gonna get all 25:08 twitter painted in prayer over this thing, 25:10 I'll just let Him handle it. 25:11 No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no 25:14 if it's a crisis, it's a crisis. 25:17 And if it's important to you, it's important to God. 25:19 You better talk to God earnestly about that crisis, 25:23 and so Daniel does. 25:25 And he goes to his knees, 25:26 in fact here's the lesson to Daniel 25:27 whether you're 18 or 88 or somewhere in between, 25:29 the lesson of Daniel is when life gets in your face, 25:32 you get on your knees. 25:34 That's the lesson. 25:35 Life gets in your face, you get on your knees. 25:40 Humble your heart before God, admit to Him, 25:42 You know what God, I can't pull myself out of this one. 25:45 There is no way I can do it please help me right now. 25:48 By the way that's why here in the Pioneer Memorial Church 25:50 where I'm pointing that banner right there, 25:52 forward on our knees because our mission statement begins 25:55 with the recognition that only God is able to help us 25:59 fulfill the greatest dream and vision and passion of life. 26:02 Forward on our knees it begins. 26:05 And by the way please note this, jot this down. 26:08 You can practice a modified fast, 26:11 a modified fast just like Daniel did. 26:13 Write in the word modified 26:14 because did you notice from reading verse 3, 26:16 he did not resort to total abstinence from food. 26:19 He went ahead and kept eating, 26:20 it says here I left off pleasant food. 26:23 What's pleasant food? That would be deserts. 26:27 Sorry, you know, it's not a bad idea 26:29 once in a while just cut off deserts, 26:31 you don't need all sugar pumping through your system. 26:34 We got a new ice cream, 26:35 we got a new ice cream place in town since you are gone, 26:37 do you know where is that? 26:38 Don't you go, I'm gonna be driving around there 26:39 to seeing who is there. 26:42 Actually not, looking forward to get in there 26:44 maybe over this holiday weekend. 26:49 But anyway I just ruined out whole point, didn't I? 26:54 So anyway he's fasting from pleasant food. 26:56 You know, some of us could just yeah, just lay off for a while. 26:59 No, he didn't quit eating. 27:00 He said, no, I'm gonna leave off 27:02 all that sugar content, why? 27:03 I have to have a clear mind, 27:05 and it also says, he fasted from meat and wine. 27:08 Now some scholars believe including my friend Jack Tocan 27:11 that in fact what Daniel saying is I didn't take the Paschal, 27:14 the Passover Lamb, 27:15 and I didn't drink the four cups of obligatory wine, 27:18 I is-- because we know from the date 27:19 it's the spring Passover, 27:21 probably he is going on during the three weeks but he says, 27:24 I'm so earnest God over this, 27:26 I'm not even gonna celebrate the Passover. 27:27 Who feels like celebrating now? 27:29 He will hold himself from the Passover 27:31 and one more thing it says here. 27:33 He did not anoint himself 27:34 which meant he did not take the equivalent of a bath 27:37 which nobody by the way is recommending for you. 27:41 Please we got to worship with you. 27:43 Three weeks and no bath, please. 27:46 I won't even sing in the choir 27:47 if you haven't taken a bath again. 27:50 Point is Jesus says, 27:51 Jesus comes along with the Sermon on the Mount, 27:53 Mathew 6:17 and Jesus says, 27:54 I want to tell you the truth about fasting, 27:56 He says, when you fast don't stop, 27:58 you just go ahead and anoint, 28:00 wash your face and anoint your head. 28:02 Put on your cologne. 28:04 Don't walk around like a human wreck 28:06 when you're fasting. 28:08 Just look normal, look normal. 28:11 You don't have to do like Daniel did. 28:13 But Daniel said, I'm so-- 28:15 Daniel did, Daniel did fasting 28:16 in order to get God's attention. 28:17 God doesn't need fasting to get His attention, 28:19 He already has His eye-- 28:20 His eyes on the sparrow, His eyes on you. 28:22 He doesn't need fasting to get your attention, 28:24 to for you to get His attention. 28:26 Daniel did it from mental acuity sake, 28:28 I have to think clearly as I pray to You 28:31 so an 88 year old man went three weeks on a modified fast, 28:34 88 years old. 28:39 Oh, I notice how God honors at the end of those three weeks. 28:42 Look at this, this is, we'll pick it up in verse 4. 28:45 "Now on the twenty-fourth day of the first month..." 28:47 Nisan spring, 28:48 "As I was by the side of that great river, 28:50 that is, the Tigris." 28:51 50 miles south of the Euphrates, 28:53 south of Babylon is the Tigris River. 28:55 "I lifted up my eyes, verse 5, and I looked, and behold, 28:57 a certain man clothed in linen." 29:00 White linen. 29:01 A moment ago we sang to Jesus our high priest, 29:03 you remember that song? 29:04 He was dressed in white linen. 29:05 This is the garb of the high priest, 29:08 white, pure white. 29:10 I see this man in white linen, not just any old linen 29:14 "Whose waist is girded with gold of Uphaz!" 29:18 And verse 6 says, "His body was like beryl," 29:20 which is a yellowish hue. 29:22 "His body was like beryl, 29:23 his face like the appearance of lightning, 29:24 his eyes like torches of fire, 29:25 his arms and feet like burnished bronze in color, 29:27 and the sound of his words like the voice of a multitude. 29:30 And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, 29:32 for the men who were with me did not see the vision, 29:34 but a great terror fell upon them, 29:35 so that they fled to hide themselves." 29:37 Therefore verse 8, 29:38 "I was left alone when I saw this great vision, 29:41 and no strength remained in me, 29:43 for my vigor was turned to frailty in me, 29:46 and I retained no strength." 29:47 And finally 9, "Yet I heard the sound of his words, 29:50 and while I heard the sound of his words 29:53 I was in a deep sleep on my face, 29:57 with my face to the ground." 29:58 Write it down. 30:00 Daniel has just been granted a vision of Almighty God Himself. 30:05 He has seen God and he says, I'm dead. 30:09 How do we know? 30:10 Keep your pen moving, 30:11 "Because the accounts of Ezekiel 1 and Revelation 1 30:15 offer the very same portrayal." 30:18 Three theophanies an old word 30:20 that means the manifestation of God, 30:21 three appearances 30:23 and all three describe this being the same way. 30:28 You can look up Ezekiel 1 some time in your leisure 30:30 but right now I want to show you 30:32 this is why I wanted to make sure you get the study guide, 30:33 this is fascinating. 30:35 I want to share with you some stunning parallels 30:37 between Daniel the prophet in Daniel 10 30:39 and John the Revelator in Revelation 1, 30:42 stunning parallels. 30:43 Keep your pen moving. 30:44 Seven of them, here we go. 30:46 Parallel number one. 30:47 Both men are in their late 80s. 30:50 Isn't that amazing? 30:52 Both men late 80s, 30:53 perhaps early 90s for John, we're not sure with him, 30:56 Daniel we know 18 at the age of exile. 30:59 Both men are in their late 80s. 31:00 Number two, both are in exile. 31:02 Both of them Patmos penal colony 31:05 and Babylon city of exile. 31:08 Number three, both are beside the water, 31:11 the blue green agency for John at Patmos 31:13 and then the roaring Tigris for Daniel. 31:16 Number four, most of you did not know this at all. 31:20 Most of you did not know this. 31:21 Number four, both received their vision 31:23 on the seventh day Sabbath. 31:26 Seventh day Sabbath, 31:27 both visions of God come on the Sabbath. 31:29 You say prove it to me. 31:31 I'm glad you ask, here we go. 31:34 In Daniel 10:2, I put it up again Daniel 10:2. 31:37 "In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks." 31:40 The Hebrew literally reads three weeks of days. 31:44 In other words it's at the ends of a three week cycle, 31:48 it has to be the seventh day Sabbath, 31:50 it has to be according to the Hebrew. 31:52 Now what day was John worshiping on 31:54 when he received his vision? 31:55 Let's put Revelation 1:10 what day Revelation 1:10 32:00 "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, 32:05 and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet." 32:08 So here is the question. 32:09 John says I was in the spirit on the Lord's Day. 32:11 Question, what day is the Lord's, 32:14 let's put it up now, 32:15 guys, up there in the booth, there you go. 32:16 What day is the Lord's Day? 32:19 The Bible is clear only one day of the week, watch this. 32:22 You have it in your study guide, Mark 2:28. 32:23 Let's put that verse on the screen. 32:25 Jesus speaking, 32:26 "Therefore the Son of Man is Lord of..." What day? 32:27 What day? 32:28 Say it to me "Is Lord of the Sabbath day." 32:31 So Mark 2:28 is clear. 32:34 The Sabbath is the Lord's Day. 32:35 Let's see if the Old Testament agrees, 32:36 Isaiah 58:13, take a look at this. 32:39 God speaking, "If you turn away your foot-- 32:41 turn away your foot from the Sabbath, 32:43 From doing your pleasure on..." whose day? 32:46 "My holy day, And you call the Sabbath a delight, 32:49 The holy day of... " Of whom? 32:52 "Of the Lord." 32:53 The Lord's day, ladies and gentlemen. 32:55 Unequivocally it's clear in scripture 32:58 when the Bible calls it the Lord's Day, 33:00 it's the Sabbath Day, the seventh day Sabbath. 33:03 Both John and Daniel received their vision on the Sabbath. 33:08 Here comes parallel number five, 33:10 Both are visited personally by Christ. 33:14 Write that down. 33:16 The descriptions of Daniel 10 and Revelation 1 33:18 are too similar. 33:19 It' the same Christ that shows up to His 33:22 two dear, elderly friends. 33:27 That's good news by the way for this Andrews University Church, 33:30 the Pioneer Memorial Church 33:31 that very obviously is focused on the young. 33:35 I want you, who are young adults 33:36 to listen very carefully please. 33:38 I want you to look around, look around you right now. 33:41 The reason you are surrounded by people of all ages 33:44 is because that is an intentional strategy 33:46 to keep you immersed in a real life community of faith. 33:50 Now we have other universities 33:53 that will take all the young adults 33:54 and put them in a corner 33:55 somewhere else away from the church, 33:57 you just worship by yourself, you sing your own songs, 33:59 you pray to your own God 34:00 and we'll go ahead and have church over here. 34:02 But we have refused to subscribe 34:04 to that kind of mentality. 34:06 We want the entire community immersed together 34:11 because when you leave this place, 34:13 there will be no young adults choir 34:14 at the front of that 60 member church, trust me. 34:19 It's you five elderly ladies... 34:27 Now they're wonderful people wherever you go, 34:30 but the point is that's why we're all here together. 34:34 And you know why? 34:35 The truth is, the older you get, 34:37 the older you get, the closer you grow to Jesus. 34:43 That's why we're keeping you around old people. 34:48 Because the older you get, the closer you get to Jesus 34:52 and you need to be around people who are close to Jesus. 34:56 Amen. 34:57 Hallelujah. 34:59 That's why we don't segregate you here. 35:01 By the way same for house of prayer. 35:03 When we gather here in house of prayer, 35:04 we don't have a prayer meeting for the young 35:05 and prayer meeting for the old. 35:07 When we gather on Wednesday nights 35:09 it's everybody to pray, 35:10 everybody for a few minutes of Bible study, 35:12 everybody together. 35:14 Why? Because we are in the journey together. 35:16 By the way this Wednesday night, 35:17 we're starting a brand new house of prayer series, 35:19 brand new. 35:20 Get in ready for Doug. 35:21 We're calling this series finding Jesus in D&R. 35:24 D&R that would mean Daniel and Revelation. 35:28 Finding Jesus because you know what? 35:31 A little lady about a century ago 35:33 wrote some very interesting words. 35:35 She said, when this particular community of faith 35:38 get serious about those two books D& R, 35:40 Daniel and Revelation, 35:41 there will arise within the community a great revival. 35:46 Ladies and gentlemen, 35:47 this world is under attack, please dial 999. 35:50 It seems to me 35:51 it would be the right time for a great revival. 35:53 What do you say? Amen. 35:55 So let's get serious about the book. 35:57 Come and join me this Wednesday night. 35:59 We'll have you out of here before 8 o'clock 36:01 a little bit of teaching time. 36:04 All right, okay, back to the stunning parallels. 36:06 So this is stunning parallel number six, 36:09 similarities between Daniel and John, 36:12 both are visited personally by Christ 36:14 and notice this, both fall on their faces. 36:18 Identical response, they fall on their faces before him. 36:21 And finally number seven, 36:22 both hear the words, do not be afraid. 36:26 You know, I love that. 36:28 Some of you are not certain 36:29 what this New Year is gonna bring. 36:30 I tell you what, nobody knows 36:31 what it will bring to the planet. 36:32 We didn't know about Katrina last year. 36:33 We didn't know about Israel and Hezbollah this summer. 36:35 We have no idea what's coming ahead. 36:37 But I love that ammunition. 36:39 You don't have to be afraid when you've got God. 36:43 Don't be afraid, the living, the living... 36:47 the living Christ says, don't be afraid. 36:51 All right moving to the punch line, 36:54 now here comes the punch line in verse 13, 36:55 but I got to start with verse 10 36:56 "Suddenly, a hand touched me..." 36:58 Okay, so he is deep in sleep on the face, 37:01 he is like he is dead and he is on his face on the ground. 37:03 "A hand touched me, which made me tremble on my knees 37:06 and on the palms of my hands." 37:07 You can picture he is on all force. 37:09 And he, this person says to me, 37:12 ''O Daniel, man greatly beloved.'' 37:14 The moment we hear those words we know who it is 37:17 because it's the language of Gabriel. 37:19 Gabriel has met Daniel before and he called him, 37:22 you are beloved friend. 37:23 I would like to be a friend of heaven. 37:25 Wouldn't you like to be a friend of heaven? 37:26 You are a friend of heaven. 37:27 You start thinking of yourself as a friend of heaven. 37:31 This my beloved daughter 37:32 and I'm very well please in her. 37:33 This is my beloved son 37:34 and I'm very well pleased in him. 37:36 Heaven loves you. 37:38 You are not trying to convince heaven to love you. 37:40 They love you with all their hearts, you're my beloved. 37:44 O Daniel, Gabriel says, man greatly beloved. 37:48 From the first day, hold on now, I jumped ahead, verse 11 37:51 "And he said to me, ''O Daniel, man greatly beloved, 37:53 understand the words that I speak to you, 37:54 and stand upright.'" 37:55 Come on boy, get on your feet. 37:57 "For I have now been sent to you. 37:58 And While he was speaking this word to me, I stood trembling." 38:01 There with those legs and then he said to me verse 12, 38:04 "Do not fear, Daniel, 38:06 for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, 38:09 and to humble yourself before your God..." 38:11 From the first day we heard you praying. 38:13 "Your words were heard, 38:15 and I have come because of your words." 38:17 But Daniel says, but then why did it take you three weeks. 38:20 I've been praying for three weeks 38:22 and Gabriel says, I got to tell you why, 38:25 I got to tell you why I'm late in getting to you. 38:28 What you're about to read 38:29 is the most dramatic one sentience revelation 38:32 in the entire corpus of Holy Scripture 38:35 that pulls the veil side 38:37 and allows us to stare at the immense war 38:43 between heaven and earth. 38:44 This is the only verse that does it so dramatically. 38:48 He says, Daniel say, why won't you hear 21 days ago, 38:50 if you heard me right at the beginning? 38:52 He says, I got my reason right here verse 13. 38:54 Here is where we end, 38:55 "But the prince of the kingdom..." 38:57 I was coming to you. 38:58 "But the prince of the kingdom of Persia..." 39:01 By the way this is the prince not the king, 39:02 this is not Cyrus. 39:04 This is somebody who says Persia is mine. 39:07 By the way Jesus in John 14 says, 39:09 I need to tell you about the devil, 39:10 he is called the prince of this world. 39:13 This is the prince, this is an evil prince, 39:16 this is a demonic prince, this is a prince that says, 39:20 Berrien Springs is mine, I hold this place. 39:25 You come here, you come through me. 39:29 There is a prince that was holding Persia. 39:33 You come here, you come through me. 39:36 And Gabriel who was on his way to Daniel 39:38 stops and for 21-- watch this for 21 days, 39:42 "But the prince of the kingdom of Persia 39:44 withstood me twenty-one days, until finally, Michael, 39:47 one of the chief princes, came to help me, 39:49 for I had been left alone with the kings of Persia." 39:53 It says as if Gabriel is saying, hey, Daniel, Daniel. 39:55 What? 39:56 We heard you praying three weeks ago 39:59 and I was assigned to come to you from God-- 40:00 to bring God's response but I couldn't 40:02 because the dark prince of Persia opposed me, 40:04 he was all over Cyrus the king and the instructions are 40:08 you got to save Cyrus whatever you do, 40:11 he is our only hope to get Israel back. 40:13 And so I had to stay with Cyrus, 40:17 the battle was so strong, you know, what Daniel? 40:19 I went three weeks, three weeks 40:22 but I could not win until Michael came. 40:27 And Michael just took over 40:29 which freed me to come to you boy. 40:31 I got the answer for you now, isn't that amazing? 40:35 Three weeks, you and I think, 40:37 oh, come on heaven, are you kidding? 40:41 Are you kidding me? 40:43 For reasons we do not understand the angelic forces 40:46 that surround this planet 24x7 40:49 and you have a guardian angel standing right beside you now 40:51 that belongs to the kingdom of heaven. 40:53 And you have an angel that tracks you 40:54 like a lion night and day, 40:56 who belongs to the kingdom of darkness. 40:58 We have two angels 41:00 always battling for our loyalty and our love. 41:07 All the time 24x7. 41:11 Some of you say, I don't have any conflict, no conflict. 41:15 You don't want to say that. 41:16 You don't want to say that 41:18 because if there is no conflict, 41:19 if there is no warfare going in your life right now, 41:22 you've already been kidnapped by the terrorist. 41:25 And he doesn't trouble you anymore. 41:28 You are His. 41:30 You've got to have conflict, 41:33 it's conflict that reminds us, we are on this planet. 41:39 And our loyalty is been battled for. 41:44 Three weeks later Michael shows up. 41:46 By the way who is this Michael? 41:48 Come on, let's put on the screen for you. 41:49 This guy you gonna be clear on this, 41:51 I hope by the time we're through who is this Michael? 41:53 Number one Michael the name means 'who is like God.' 41:56 Now that can be a question, who is like God? 41:58 Or can be a statement, who is like God. 42:01 Wherever Michael goes people say, hey, who is like God, 42:05 Michael reminds people of God, whoever Michael is 42:07 we don't know anything else so far 42:09 but we know that wherever he shows up, 42:10 they say, hey, who is like God. 42:13 You see so that's Michael, we know the meaning of his name. 42:15 Number two, what do we know? 42:17 Daniel 10:13 Jacques shared this or Doukhan. 42:24 The Hebrew, you know, what it says here one of the-- 42:26 one of the chief princess 42:27 but the Hebrew really reads the correct translation reads 42:30 'the first of the great princes.' 42:33 'The first of the chief. 42:34 He is the number one of all the princes, number one. 42:38 So what do we know about Michael so far? 42:39 That's what we know. Let's add a verse. 42:41 Let's add Jude 9, Jude 9 42:43 in Jude 9 Michael is called the archangel, 42:45 so now we know he is an archangel. 42:46 Let's go to 1 Thessalonians 4:16 42:49 Paul tell us that it would be the voice of the archangel 42:51 that raises up the dead at the end of time. 42:54 Let's go to the John 5:28 42:56 where Jesus announces it will be my voice 42:58 that raises the dead at the end of the time. 43:01 Now you've learned a little bit about syllogisms 43:04 and logic already and you know, 43:07 the great Protestant reformer, write this down please, 43:09 the great protestant reformer Melanchthon 43:11 the sidekick of Martin Luther himself concluded 43:15 based on what we just shared that in fact 43:17 Michael is none other than the pre-incarnate Christ. 43:20 I believe that Melanchthon is right... absolutely. 43:25 Keep your pen moving. 43:26 And what's interesting about Michael is that 43:29 he only appears in apocalyptic literature, 43:32 Daniel, Jude and Revelation 43:33 only those three books you'll find his name 43:35 and he always shows up only where there is a battle 43:38 between the forces of light and darkness. 43:41 Only where there is a battle that's where Michael shows up 43:43 and by the way whenever he shows up 43:45 get this down he wins, every time he wins. 43:49 Amen. 43:50 He wins when he shows up. 43:53 Praise God. I love that. 43:56 The point is ladies and gentlemen, 43:58 the point is forget about Israel, 44:00 forget about Hezbollah, forget about Iraq, 44:02 Iran and the Middle East. 44:03 We are-- we were already in a massive conflict 44:06 before they arrived on the scene. 44:08 24X7 giant cosmic controversy 44:14 swirling around the mind of every man, woman 44:17 and child on this planet, 44:18 two angels, two angels, two choices, two choices. 44:22 Not three, just two, two. 44:26 There is a little book called Great Controversy 44:28 based on teaching of Daniel 10:13 and in this book, 44:32 and the introduction of this book 44:34 one line I want you to get in your-- 44:36 in your study guide please. 44:37 "The great controversy between good and evil 44:39 will increase in intensity." 44:41 Write it in. 44:42 It will increase in intensity to the very close of time. 44:45 Keep your pen moving. 44:46 "In the war that we are in, intensification 44:50 is the operative strategy of both sides." 44:55 Both are ratcheting down, both tightening up. 45:01 Haven't you noticed life on this planet is intensifying? 45:03 I mean it, come on, am I the only one seeing this? 45:06 Last Sabbath I was in New Orleans 45:07 to preach at a church 45:08 that was devastated by hurricane Katrina, 45:11 they put the pews in last Thursday. 45:12 And then on Sabbath we worshiped three times. 45:15 Devastated, they took me to the St. Bernard Parish 45:18 where there are blocks and blocks of houses abandoned, 45:21 no electricity, 300,000 people have left New Orleans 45:24 and have never come back. 45:26 We've never seen that 45:27 in the history of the United States 45:28 an entire city displaced. 45:31 Intensity, nature is intensifying, 45:34 politics, war, the economy, intensify, intensify. 45:39 Ladies and gentlemen, 45:42 that means that God's side is also intensifying 45:44 its desperate efforts to save the human race. 45:47 God is intensifying which is why two weeks from last night, 45:51 two weeks from last night, put it on the screen please 45:54 my friend Doug Batchelor is gonna be here 45:57 standing right here for only nine nights, 45:59 he is just writing this series, 46:01 you heard Pastor Skip say a moment ago 46:02 the most amazing prophecies, 46:05 Doug is coming because we have 46:07 by satellite we'll be hooked up to the world live. 46:09 Why? 46:10 Because God is intensifying His efforts to save the human race. 46:15 You got a generation not only in this church 46:16 but outside the church 46:17 that is prophetically illiterate. 46:19 It has no clue about what's coming. 46:22 Everybody thinks, it's over in the Middle East, 46:24 that is isn't it, that's subterfuge, 46:27 that won't be where the end comes, 46:32 trust me, trust Daniel and John. 46:35 You find out in this Rumors from the East. 46:38 But you heard Skip make an impassioned appeal, 46:40 I'm gonna simply add my humble little voice to his. 46:43 We still need help. 46:44 We need help in the children's divisions. 46:46 You know, we had an ice cream free 46:47 for the freshmen the other night 46:49 bunch of organizations 46:50 and so Pioneer has a little table there. 46:53 I was amazed how many freshmen came up 46:55 and on there own asked me new students, 46:57 we heard about the Doug Batchelor series 46:58 can we help 46:59 and so I'm heading out these sign up forms right and left, 47:02 praise God. 47:04 Are you a sophomore, 47:06 don't let the freshmen out shine you, please. 47:11 Are you junior, are you senior? 47:13 Shall I come on, Dwight, I want to hear Doug, 47:14 I want to hear Doug, you gonna hear him every morning, 47:16 you gonna hear him every morning in the week of prayer. 47:18 You can be praying in the night time. 47:22 We need some of you. You don't have to do it all nine nights. 47:23 If we can get rotating crew, you get five friends, 47:26 each of you two take two nights, 47:27 one will have only one. 47:30 We just need you 47:31 so inside your bulletin there is a little insert. 47:34 What can I do to volunteer for the Doug Batchelor's series? 47:36 I wish you fill it out, I'd be at that door at the end. 47:38 Hand me--hand me you are filled out form. 47:40 Just write your name I'll serve anywhere. 47:41 Love to work with kids. Why? 47:44 Intensification, intensify, look at this, folks, 47:47 two sides, two sides one strategy, 47:50 intensify, intensify, you know, what that means? 47:53 I'm sitting down, I'm gonna sit down right now, 47:55 but before I sit down I have to say this, 47:57 do you know what that means? 47:58 That means it's time to intensify. 48:00 Some of you are praying 10 minutes a day. 48:02 I got some good news for you 48:03 because of the hour in which we're living, 48:05 would you make it 20, 48:07 double the time you're spending in prayer, 48:09 10 minutes make it 20. 48:10 Some of you are reading one chapter in the Bible a day, 48:13 I mean a week, one a week. 48:15 I'm suggesting why don't you just read 48:16 one story in the gospel a day? 48:18 Intensify whatever you're doing now, 48:21 what are you doing in your worship now? 48:22 Intensify it, 48:24 intensify that's the point whatever you're doing. 48:26 Intensify your friendship with Jesus. 48:28 Intensify, intensify, intensify, 48:29 intensify your relationship with God. 48:31 You know what some of you are gonna do? 48:32 You gonna be so excited about these prophecies, 48:35 you gonna form little study groups 48:36 in the dormitory or in the community 48:38 and you gonna have people, 48:39 you gonna come together a bunch of students 48:40 and you gonna study and pray together. 48:43 And your lives are gonna be watered by the Holy Spirit. 48:46 One week from last night, all right? 48:48 One week from last night. 48:50 2006 ministry fair called the conduit this year, 48:54 not in the church, if you've been here before 48:55 we've had in another church. 48:56 No, we're gonna over to each pack 48:58 right in the middle of Fusion, 49:00 we're gonna have that ministry fair. 49:02 You say, pastor, what's the ministry fair about? 49:04 It's about you intensifying your involvement 49:07 with the kingdom of the Lord Jesus 49:08 by getting involved in a volunteer ministry. 49:10 We'll have over 60 ministries there. 49:12 You sign up with just one, just one you sign up. 49:16 And we will be the richer forward. 49:17 Intensify, intensify because ladies and gentlemen, 49:21 if I read my Bible correctly, this longest of all prophecies 49:24 when Michael does step in this time, it's all over, 49:27 it's all over except for the shout. 49:30 When Michael stands up and steps in its curtains, 49:35 which is why we need to stand for Michael today. 49:38 We need to stand for Michael today. 49:41 A little school boy 49:44 new bus schedule in his neighborhood, 49:46 he's got the schedule all fouled up. 49:48 Every morning when he goes running out 49:49 with his little backpack he's late. 49:52 This particular morning, cool out of morning 49:53 he still doesn't have the scheduled out 49:55 and so the boy goes raising out he is late 49:57 but he's gonna catch the bus 49:58 and as it when he comes to that bus stop just in time 50:02 he sees the red tail light disappear around the corner. 50:05 He has missed the bus again. 50:06 His neighbor was standing in that driveway and saw the boy 50:09 and the neighbor called out to the boy, 50:10 he said, hey, boy looks like you didn't run fast enough. 50:15 Oh, no, sir, the boy called back, 50:17 I ran fast enough I just didn't start soon enough. 50:23 Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not worried about you running fast, 50:25 this is about the fastest campus 50:27 I've ever known in my life, 50:28 it's not about fast now, it's about soon, 50:30 it's about now, starting, start now. 50:34 Intensify, intensify, intensify. 50:38 Now so the service is over, but I need to make an appeal. 50:46 If you are a collage student here, 50:47 a university student at Andrews University, 50:49 I'm gonna ask you right now, 50:50 if you would be willing to go on record with me 50:55 in asking Jesus to do whatever it takes 50:56 to intensify my friendship with him. 50:59 Whatever it takes. 51:01 You'd be willing to ask Jesus to do that, 51:02 I want you to stand on your feet, 51:04 would you please as if you are a university student 51:05 would you just come right here to the front, 51:07 we gonna close with prayer, 51:08 would you come right here to the front. 51:10 If you are university student 51:11 and you want to intensify 51:13 your relationship with the Lord Jesus, 51:15 just come right here to the front. 51:16 You're not promising anything to me. 51:17 You're saying, Jesus I want this is Michael's hour, 51:20 I want to intensify with You Jesus, 51:23 I want to intensify with You. 51:26 I want to invite you if you are faculty member 51:27 here at Andrews University, you are on the staff. 51:30 I want to invite you if you want to join me 51:32 in intensifying your life this New Year in ways we-- 51:36 I don't know how God is gonna do all this 51:38 but you want to make your life available as I do 51:41 for the intensification that Christ longs for. 51:43 If you are a faculty member 51:44 or a staff member here at this university, 51:47 I wish you'd stand and just step into the aisles 51:48 if you still can. 51:49 Just stand. 51:50 If you can't get into the aisle now 51:51 just stand where you are seated. 51:53 If you are faculty or staff member 51:55 and you want to join in that intensification. 51:57 And I need to appeal to those of us who live in the community 52:00 because this university is under the direction, 52:06 and the leadership of the mighty spirit of Christ, 52:08 the spirit of Michael. 52:09 And I want to be a part of something 52:11 that's happening right here in this midst 52:13 and so if you live in the community as I do 52:15 and you want to commit to that intensification with Christ, 52:18 would you stand to your feet where you are. 52:20 Just stand to your feet and say Jesus do whatever You wish. 52:26 I maybe just a visitor here today Jesus but I-- 52:28 I want you to intensify, intensify in my heart and life. 52:34 Oh, Christ, Holy Father, Mighty Spirit, 52:41 the New Year commences and we stand before You 52:43 even as Michael shall stand up one day, 52:46 we stand for Him today, and we humbly pray 52:51 that you would take our little old lives, 52:54 there is nothing special about any of us 52:57 but just take little old me and him and her 53:01 and would you intensify take us deeper this year, 53:04 deeper with You, deeper with-- 53:07 with our Heavenly Father then we've ever gone before. 53:10 Clear the decks like Daniel. 53:13 We want to belong exclusively to You, 53:16 a generation Holy Father a generation for this hour. 53:20 Seal this moment, don't let us forget. 53:23 We got stuff coming 53:24 but don't let us forget we made this decision today, 53:28 through the power and for the glory of Michael, 53:32 our Lord Jesus Christ that all the people say, amen and amen. 53:36 Now, I want you to sing with me. 53:38 Oh, we end every opening Sabbath 53:40 with this Steve and Zork 53:42 at the microphone will gonna sing together 53:45 the Lord's prayer. 53:46 Just close your eyes, lift your head up, 53:48 sing this prayer to all Mighty God as we begin. 53:59 Our Father 54:08 Which art in heaven 54:20 Hallowed be thy name 54:37 Thy kingdom come 54:45 Thy will be done 54:52 On earth 54:57 As it is in heaven 55:23 Give us this day our daily bread 55:34 And forgive us our debts 55:40 As we forgive our debtors 55:53 And lead us not into temptation 56:00 But deliver us from evil 56:07 For Thine is the kingdom 56:15 And the power 56:19 And the glory, forever 56:35 Forever 57:02 Amen. 57:06 Before you go, I wanted to take 57:07 one
