Marco Polo was the first European to 00:00:01.96\00:00:03.03 report the existence of this island, he called it 00:00:03.03\00:00:05.26 the Red island, eventually named it 00:00:05.26\00:00:07.50 Madagascar, it's extremely unique in many ways. 00:00:07.50\00:00:11.00 Well, sure there maybe some plants, 00:00:11.00\00:00:13.00 some animals that you find in other parts of 00:00:13.26\00:00:15.73 the world, but on whole it has got the 00:00:15.73\00:00:18.86 most unique animals, the most unique plants that 00:00:18.86\00:00:21.83 are only found on this particular island. 00:00:21.83\00:00:24.76 Arriving on the island of Madagascar, 00:00:58.66\00:01:00.50 you meet a very nice people, a friendly 00:01:00.50\00:01:02.96 people but quite reserved in comparison 00:01:02.96\00:01:05.50 to mainland Africa. Now, of course that's 00:01:05.50\00:01:08.16 the first thing this people do not want to 00:01:08.16\00:01:10.10 be referred to as Africans, because it 00:01:10.10\00:01:12.00 seems like they, they have a feeling of 00:01:12.00\00:01:14.50 superiority or a feeling that they are totally 00:01:14.96\00:01:18.20 different on the mainland. They fought hard to 00:01:18.20\00:01:21.56 gain their independence from France and 00:01:21.56\00:01:23.50 finally after a revolution, after many things in 00:01:23.50\00:01:26.56 1960, they did gain their independence, 00:01:26.56\00:01:29.43 Malagasy is the official language, 00:01:30.06\00:01:32.00 although French is number two, 00:01:32.00\00:01:33.70 and English is the third language. 00:01:34.20\00:01:35.73 Although I found it little difficulty that 00:01:36.20\00:01:37.86 very few people do speak English. 00:01:37.86\00:01:39.60 This is a gorgeous place, the island from 00:01:40.30\00:01:42.90 one end to the other transforms into 00:01:42.90\00:01:45.00 different characters, different parts from 00:01:45.33\00:01:48.03 the, the rocks and the cliffs and the 00:01:48.03\00:01:49.83 mountains here to, to jungles in the north 00:01:49.83\00:01:52.63 where they raise the vanilla beans. 00:01:52.63\00:01:54.26 But it's beautiful everywhere, it's beautiful. 00:01:55.20\00:01:57.93 Larger than California and Oregon combined; 00:02:00.43\00:02:02.76 Madagascar is the world's fourth largest 00:02:03.10\00:02:05.20 island after Greenland, New Guinea and Borneo, 00:02:05.20\00:02:07.90 Located 250 miles off the south-east coast of 00:02:08.56\00:02:11.66 Africa, the island extends 1000 miles in 00:02:11.66\00:02:14.76 length and 360 miles at its largest width. 00:02:14.76\00:02:18.40 The most ancient road is not yet 100 years 00:02:19.23\00:02:21.80 old and tourism is a very young industry. 00:02:21.80\00:02:24.73 Most experts agree that Madagascar's 00:02:26.26\00:02:28.23 inhabitants arrived somewhat recently 00:02:28.23\00:02:30.70 and that subsequent migrations have 00:02:31.13\00:02:33.46 brought other groups like Arabs and 00:02:33.46\00:02:35.33 Indians into the mix. The residents of 00:02:35.33\00:02:39.00 Madagascar, the Malagasy; have unusual origins 00:02:39.00\00:02:42.50 as reflected by their mixed traditions and 00:02:42.50\00:02:44.66 cultural practices. The Malagasy speak 00:02:44.66\00:02:47.56 a language native to their distinct country 00:02:47.56\00:02:49.53 of Borneo and observe some distinctively 00:02:49.53\00:02:52.13 Southeast Asian religious practices. 00:02:52.13\00:02:54.33 The Malagasy people have some very 00:02:55.43\00:02:57.10 interesting proverb such as he who 00:02:57.10\00:02:59.40 refuses to buy lid for the pot will have 00:02:59.40\00:03:01.86 badly cooked rice, or how about done in by 00:03:01.86\00:03:05.00 his own trade like a water merchant in the rain. 00:03:05.00\00:03:07.40 Very interesting people and some 00:03:08.30\00:03:09.60 proverbs we could probably identify with. 00:03:09.60\00:03:11.66 Madagascar is home to 5% of the world's 00:03:13.16\00:03:15.56 plant and animal species, of which 00:03:15.56\00:03:17.93 more than 80% are endemic to Madagascar, 00:03:17.93\00:03:21.03 including the beautiful lemur. 00:03:21.43\00:03:23.10 Some ecologists refer to Madagascar as the 00:03:24.00\00:03:26.20 "eighth continent". Of the 10,000 plants 00:03:26.20\00:03:29.50 native to Madagascar, 90% are found 00:03:29.50\00:03:32.90 nowhere else in the world. Agriculture including 00:03:33.26\00:03:37.56 fishing and forestry is a main stay of the 00:03:37.56\00:03:40.00 economy, one of the most important 00:03:40.00\00:03:42.20 exports is vanilla. Madagascar is the 00:03:42.20\00:03:44.86 world's largest producer and exporter. 00:03:44.86\00:03:47.03 Yeah, he has a trusty guide, 00:03:55.40\00:03:58.03 did he find the vanilla? Oh! Yeah. 00:03:58.03\00:04:00.53 Vanilla is a flavoring derived from orchids, 00:04:02.43\00:04:04.63 which were originally cultivated in parts of 00:04:04.63\00:04:06.70 Mexico and Central America. 00:04:06.70\00:04:08.63 Attempts to cultivate vanilla were unsuccessful 00:04:09.86\00:04:12.63 until in 1841, it was discovered that the 00:04:12.86\00:04:16.20 plant could be hand-pollinated. 00:04:16.20\00:04:18.00 Vanilla is second only to saffron in its value 00:04:18.70\00:04:21.50 as the most expensive spice. 00:04:21.50\00:04:23.60 The desire for such spices led to the 00:04:24.63\00:04:27.30 discovery of Madagascar in 1500. 00:04:27.30\00:04:29.90 Now, travel with me far to the south of the 00:04:31.30\00:04:33.43 island where we're going to 00:04:33.43\00:04:34.43 meet Edmond and his family. 00:04:34.43\00:04:35.83 From what I see in Madagascar so far 00:04:37.16\00:04:38.96 you live on a beautiful island, do you live 00:04:38.96\00:04:41.26 here in the city or outside the city? 00:04:41.26\00:04:43.00 We live in the countryside, a bit far from town. 00:04:45.50\00:04:48.23 How far where do you live? 00:04:49.13\00:04:50.26 From the capital it's 90 kilometers. 00:04:52.33\00:04:54.86 So you came quite a while, how long did it 00:04:56.20\00:04:57.70 take you because I know some of the 00:04:57.70\00:04:59.13 roads are terrible, but how long did it take 00:04:59.13\00:05:01.10 you to drive here or did you take a bus or? 00:05:01.10\00:05:03.56 First of all we had to walk from our village 00:05:06.90\00:05:10.03 then take a bus, to drive last two hours. 00:05:10.03\00:05:13.26 Would you share with me a little bit about 00:05:14.30\00:05:15.83 your village, so I can understand 00:05:15.83\00:05:17.33 what village life is like? 00:05:17.33\00:05:18.73 Our village is a small one, and as I said it is 00:05:24.26\00:05:27.40 90 kilometers from Antananarivo and it is 00:05:27.40\00:05:30.83 in the countryside. The expansive tea 00:07:51.36\00:07:53.76 plantation is the beautiful sight to 00:07:53.76\00:07:55.60 behold as its dark green bushes covered 00:07:55.60\00:07:57.90 with shiny leaves blanket the rolling 00:07:57.90\00:07:59.80 hills as far as the eye can see. 00:07:59.80\00:08:02.50 What variety do you call it; 00:08:03.46\00:08:04.80 is this a special variety of tea? 00:08:04.80\00:08:06.86 Camellia, Camellia and you only pick 00:08:10.06\00:08:13.80 the top three leaves. Yes, only these three 00:08:13.80\00:08:18.20 leaves to make black tea and to make green 00:08:18.20\00:08:22.73 tea, only this one. And so, more leaves, 00:08:22.73\00:08:27.90 the bigger leaves for black, 00:08:27.90\00:08:29.16 yes smaller for green, yes. 00:08:29.16\00:08:31.66 Do you pay your, your people who pick, 00:08:32.43\00:08:34.90 do you pay them by the amount that they 00:08:34.90\00:08:36.90 pick or do you just give them a wage? 00:08:36.90\00:08:39.53 We pay for the, how many leaves they cut? 00:08:40.76\00:08:47.40 How many leaves they cut? What time do they 00:08:47.40\00:08:51.16 start picking in the morning? 00:08:51.16\00:08:52.43 At 7, 7 a.m. when do they quit? 00:08:53.93\00:08:56.36 Like 3 in the afternoon, afternoon, yes. 00:08:56.36\00:09:02.90 Workers negotiate a very narrow space 00:09:06.70\00:09:08.76 between rows as they methodically chose 00:09:08.76\00:09:11.06 and plug the perfect leaves. 00:09:11.06\00:09:12.66 How do you even know how to walk in here? 00:09:13.96\00:09:15.63 It seems like it's just I'm stuck. 00:09:15.63\00:09:17.93 Is there a real pathway in here, 00:09:22.36\00:09:23.83 oh there we go maybe that's it. 00:09:26.46\00:09:27.86 Wow, I don't know how anybody gets in 00:09:31.20\00:09:34.80 here and gets through here and picks, it's amazing. 00:09:34.80\00:09:37.86 I see maybe little path this way, maybe, no. 00:09:40.43\00:09:43.36 Most tea is picked by hand for a better quality; 00:09:58.10\00:10:00.70 machines tend to be rough and end up 00:10:01.20\00:10:03.03 damaging too many leaves. Once workers gather 00:10:03.03\00:10:07.13 enough leaves, their stash is quickly 00:10:07.13\00:10:09.23 carried to the factory located 00:10:09.23\00:10:10.80 right on the plantation. Once picked the 00:10:10.80\00:10:13.70 leaves must be processed almost 00:10:13.70\00:10:15.36 immediately to capture the best flavor. 00:10:15.36\00:10:17.56 Tea is similar to wine and that the 00:10:23.50\00:10:25.16 atmosphere in which is grown determines 00:10:25.16\00:10:27.23 much of the flavor and quality. 00:10:27.23\00:10:29.23 All tea begins as the plant node as 00:10:30.80\00:10:32.63 Camellias sinensis. It is the way that the 00:10:32.63\00:10:35.33 leaves are processed that yields their 00:10:35.33\00:10:37.13 specific taste, color and scent. 00:10:37.13\00:10:39.30 Everyday taste everyone, one here is the labeling 00:10:43.70\00:10:47.90 for the different ones we saw out in the, 00:10:47.90\00:10:49.63 yes, packaging already. From dust to broken 00:10:49.63\00:10:54.43 pekoe, so we went from, from this to this. 00:10:54.43\00:10:58.73 How do people earn a living in your village? 00:11:01.06\00:11:02.96 There are all farmers in this village. 00:11:04.83\00:11:06.90 And what do they farm? 00:11:08.10\00:11:09.16 They grow rice, cassava, and sweet potatoes. 00:11:11.76\00:11:15.00 I see when we flew in the rice farmers look 00:11:15.90\00:11:19.60 like they, they did rice differently or grow it 00:11:19.60\00:11:22.20 differently then I've seen it in California 00:11:22.20\00:11:25.23 and other places, is there a lot of water 00:11:25.23\00:11:28.23 here or just seem like it was different, 00:11:28.23\00:11:31.06 how do you farm rice here? 00:11:31.06\00:11:32.36 We are fortunate because in the region 00:11:38.96\00:11:42.10 we live, we have a lot of water, there is a 00:11:42.10\00:11:44.86 lake near our village. To grow rice we sow 00:11:44.86\00:11:48.10 the grain in a small field, then after two 00:11:48.10\00:11:50.80 months when they are old enough the 00:11:50.80\00:11:53.00 farmers transplant them into the rice field. 00:11:53.00\00:11:55.66 In my village we don't use much fertilizer. 00:11:56.43\00:11:58.63 Now, are both of you farmers 00:11:59.33\00:12:00.66 also, are your family farmers? 00:12:00.66\00:12:02.33 Yes, the whole family is farming, 00:12:05.13\00:12:07.06 but we are also teachers. 00:12:07.56\00:12:09.03 You do both, you're school teachers and farmers. 00:12:09.93\00:12:11.86 Tell me little bit about your school, how big, 00:12:11.86\00:12:15.50 how many children do you teach 00:12:15.50\00:12:16.83 and what, what do you teach? 00:12:16.83\00:12:18.23 Yes, I teach in primary school, 00:12:20.53\00:12:22.20 I teach children from age 6 to 11 and my 00:12:23.06\00:12:26.06 wife teaches in the technical school. 00:12:26.06\00:12:28.03 If the kids who are all 00:12:28.96\00:12:30.06 done then the ones I teach. 00:12:30.06\00:12:31.76 May I ask you what, tell me little more 00:12:33.00\00:12:35.60 about the children in your class 00:12:35.60\00:12:38.00 and since they are little bit older. 00:12:38.00\00:12:39.06 How many students do you have 00:12:39.96\00:12:41.33 and exactly what do you teach? 00:12:41.33\00:12:42.93 As my husband has said, I teach technical 00:12:45.50\00:12:48.10 school where I teach the Malagasy language, 00:12:48.10\00:12:50.60 I teach kids from their 00:12:50.96\00:12:52.16 first year to their third year. 00:12:52.16\00:12:54.03 So, you're a language teacher that is that 00:12:55.10\00:12:57.60 the only language then you teach is Malagasy, 00:12:58.50\00:13:00.86 and that's the language of the whole island. Yes. 00:13:01.93\00:13:06.00 Madagascar was once covered almost 00:13:17.93\00:13:19.83 completely by forests, but the practice of 00:13:19.83\00:13:22.40 burning the forest to clear the land for 00:13:22.40\00:13:24.20 cultivation has denuded most of the 00:13:24.20\00:13:26.80 landscape, especially in the central highlands. 00:13:26.80\00:13:29.76 Most of the loss of rainforest according 00:13:30.63\00:13:33.23 to our pilot was due to past government 00:13:33.23\00:13:35.56 officials telling the people to slash and 00:13:35.56\00:13:37.83 burn the forest, locally called tavy. 00:13:37.83\00:13:40.13 So, that foreigners would not come in 00:13:40.60\00:13:42.53 and steal their lumber. The results were 00:13:42.53\00:13:45.50 devastating and erosion is a major problem. 00:13:45.50\00:13:48.60 We've been hiking for just a little while but 00:14:03.06\00:14:04.83 checking out the lemurs right above 00:14:05.40\00:14:06.60 me, they are absolutely 00:14:06.60\00:14:07.56 beautiful ring- tailed lemurs. 00:14:07.56\00:14:08.96 Most lemurs are listed as endangered or 00:14:11.10\00:14:13.33 threatened species. Many species have 00:14:13.33\00:14:15.66 gone extinct in the last couple of 00:14:15.66\00:14:17.43 centuries mainly due to habitat 00:14:17.43\00:14:19.46 destruction and hunting. Lemurs are endemic 00:14:19.46\00:14:23.20 to the island of Madagascar, the name 00:14:23.20\00:14:25.53 is the Latin words signifying ghosts 00:14:25.53\00:14:27.70 or spirits, from which they earned their 00:14:27.70\00:14:29.66 name due to the ghostly vocalizations, 00:14:29.66\00:14:32.26 reflective eyes, and the nocturnal habits 00:14:32.76\00:14:34.90 of some species. Many species live in 00:14:34.90\00:14:37.80 Madagascar's tropical rainforests, but some 00:14:37.80\00:14:40.93 live in dry deciduous forests. 00:14:40.93\00:14:42.73 Their strong hands and fingers help them 00:14:44.36\00:14:46.10 to climb trees easily. Their muscular legs 00:14:46.10\00:14:48.80 are adapted for jumping. When they need to 00:14:48.80\00:14:51.30 change their scenery, they hop to another branch. 00:14:51.30\00:14:53.70 Brown lemurs and ring-tailed lemurs 00:14:54.50\00:14:56.20 scamper along the forest floor on all fours. 00:14:56.53\00:14:58.80 But other species find traveling on the 00:14:59.26\00:15:01.16 ground to be a challenge. Their bodies just aren't 00:15:01.16\00:15:04.20 built for walking. Sifakas solve the 00:15:04.20\00:15:06.73 problem by hopping sideways on their 00:15:06.73\00:15:08.70 back legs, as if they were on a pogo stick. 00:15:08.70\00:15:11.16 Many lemurs are herbivores. 00:15:13.00\00:15:14.53 They will eat almost everything the forest's 00:15:14.83\00:15:17.20 trees and plants have to offer. 00:15:17.20\00:15:19.03 Ring-tailed lemurs, for example, eat 00:15:20.00\00:15:22.10 fruits, flowers, buds, bark, 00:15:22.10\00:15:24.33 sap, seeds, and leaves. 00:15:24.33\00:15:26.10 Some species, such as the mouse lemur, 00:15:26.70\00:15:28.90 are omnivores. They eat insects, eggs, 00:15:29.40\00:15:32.03 frogs, and lizards as well as plants. 00:15:32.03\00:15:34.33 You are sweet and I have no food see, no food. 00:15:35.10\00:15:38.00 I know on the island here there is a practice of 00:15:39.50\00:15:42.20 exhuming the dead and at certain times a 00:15:42.63\00:15:46.70 year and doing certain festivals and ceremonies. 00:15:46.70\00:15:49.43 Did you ever participate in that or is that 00:15:49.90\00:15:51.86 something that none of the Christians do? 00:15:51.86\00:15:54.70 As for exhumation we had participated in it. 00:15:57.43\00:16:01.10 Why did you practice that, what, what, 00:16:03.26\00:16:05.13 what prompted you to do such a thing? 00:16:06.06\00:16:08.56 Before we didn't know the Bible, 00:16:11.13\00:16:12.63 so we just followed the tradition of the country. 00:16:12.96\00:16:15.40 Can you tell me a little bit more about 00:16:16.03\00:16:17.60 that tradition, be a little more specific? 00:16:17.60\00:16:19.80 According to their tradition in this country, 00:16:24.83\00:16:27.00 people believe that the dead can 00:16:27.26\00:16:28.73 communicate if they are living through dreams. 00:16:28.73\00:16:30.93 For example during the winter the dead 00:16:31.66\00:16:34.00 says to the living that they are called and 00:16:34.00\00:16:36.46 then you close from the living. 00:16:36.46\00:16:38.40 There must be more, you've got me right 00:16:39.06\00:16:41.23 on the edge of my chair tell me more. 00:16:41.23\00:16:42.83 People in this country even the Christians, 00:16:47.10\00:16:49.66 think that the dead can bless the living, 00:16:50.33\00:16:52.20 even some Christians still practice exhumation. 00:16:52.50\00:16:55.16 So, they, they take the dead out of the graves? 00:16:56.20\00:16:58.13 This is how the Malagasy people 00:17:01.23\00:17:03.26 practice exhumation. They will go to the 00:17:03.26\00:17:06.06 tomb and take out the dead bodies and then 00:17:06.06\00:17:08.36 they will buy new clothes and they rub 00:17:08.36\00:17:10.60 the bodies in it. The people feast for 00:17:10.60\00:17:13.23 2 or 3 days, they dance, they sing and 00:17:13.23\00:17:16.36 eat animals like ox. So, it is a big festivity 00:17:16.36\00:17:20.46 for the Malagasy people. You told me earlier that, 00:17:20.80\00:17:24.33 you used to believe this but you 00:17:24.56\00:17:26.06 no longer do, what changed for you? 00:17:26.06\00:17:28.03 We didn't know that this practice was 00:17:34.06\00:17:35.76 against the Bible's teaching. 00:17:35.76\00:17:37.20 We just followed the tradition of our family. 00:17:38.00\00:17:40.20 But now we know that the Bible 00:17:41.10\00:17:42.50 does not support this practice. 00:17:42.50\00:17:44.00 How did you discover or come to find out 00:17:45.00\00:17:47.10 that the Bible doesn't support this practice? 00:17:47.10\00:17:49.23 We learned it through from the Ten Commandments, 00:17:55.63\00:17:57.66 because God says in the First Commandment 00:17:57.66\00:18:00.06 that we should not have any other God, 00:18:00.06\00:18:02.76 but the Malagasy people will treat the 00:18:03.80\00:18:05.50 dead like another God, because they 00:18:05.50\00:18:07.40 think that dead can bless. But we understood 00:18:07.40\00:18:10.66 that it's not good to have another God. 00:18:10.66\00:18:12.90 So, you begin discovering more Bible truth, 00:18:15.10\00:18:17.33 how were you led to do that or did you just 00:18:18.70\00:18:20.60 start studying or what happen? 00:18:20.60\00:18:21.86 I was not only a Christian, but I was a 00:18:28.83\00:18:30.96 youth leader in my church and as a leader 00:18:30.96\00:18:33.76 I had to find many things to give to my youth. 00:18:34.13\00:18:36.40 That is when I heard the Adventist World 00:18:37.16\00:18:39.10 Radio program in the morning at 5:30, 00:18:39.10\00:18:41.93 I really love the songs on the program. 00:18:42.90\00:18:44.80 I wanted to share and teach these 00:18:45.86\00:18:47.33 songs to my youth. And later I found that 00:18:47.33\00:18:50.40 AWR also produce its sermon on the radio. 00:18:50.40\00:18:53.36 That is when I began to sing. 00:18:54.10\00:18:55.40 Did you read and study your Bible to 00:18:58.53\00:19:00.16 make certain that the sermons were the truth? 00:19:00.16\00:19:02.33 Everything started in 1998 in my church, 00:19:06.66\00:19:10.20 there was a special class for teachers and 00:19:10.20\00:19:12.46 doctors in the countryside. Our pastors taught us 00:19:12.46\00:19:16.10 about the Ten Commandments and he gave us special 00:19:16.10\00:19:18.60 lesson about the Fourth Commandment, and 00:19:18.60\00:19:21.16 I ask the pastor what is the Sabbath? 00:19:21.16\00:19:22.83 The pastor explained the Sabbath is Saturday, 00:19:23.73\00:19:26.03 but then I ask him why don't we observe Saturday. 00:19:27.03\00:19:30.06 And he said we don't do that because it is 00:19:30.70\00:19:33.36 only for the Jew. Then I ask him if the 00:19:33.36\00:19:37.30 Ten Commandments are only for the Jews 00:19:37.30\00:19:39.40 and he replied no. Don't listen to other 00:19:40.40\00:19:43.90 preachers; I know that you are listening to 00:19:43.90\00:19:46.40 some other doctrines he said. 00:19:46.40\00:19:48.20 Then I kept asking question about 00:19:49.00\00:19:50.60 a Fourth Commandment. I continue listening to 00:19:50.60\00:19:53.46 AWR and then there was a special week of 00:19:53.46\00:19:55.96 decision in Adventist World Radio. 00:19:55.96\00:19:58.60 I heard all my Biblical question were 00:19:59.56\00:20:01.70 answered in these programs. 00:20:01.70\00:20:03.13 Then I stopped attending my church's 00:20:03.93\00:20:05.43 service, but my wife continued because she 00:20:05.43\00:20:08.23 was a deaconess in that church. 00:20:08.23\00:20:10.13 As you can see AWR is frontline mission radio. 00:20:14.76\00:20:18.03 Our first priority is to travel where 00:20:18.73\00:20:20.73 missionaries cannot go. So, they like the programs also? 00:23:13.76\00:23:16.30 There are programs for children, so they 00:23:17.90\00:23:20.00 can enjoy listening to those. 00:23:20.00\00:23:21.70 Is it appropriate to say then that the radio 00:23:22.16\00:23:24.73 programs have changed your life? 00:23:24.73\00:23:26.43 Yes, it was Adventist Radio that changed 00:23:32.00\00:23:35.03 our life, because at our church, our pastor 00:23:35.03\00:23:38.26 couldn't answer our question, but AWR did. 00:23:38.26\00:23:41.66 Now do you share that program with 00:23:42.83\00:23:44.50 others now, do you tell others to listen also. 00:23:44.50\00:23:46.56 We don't tell others to tune in directly but, 00:23:49.63\00:23:52.23 what we do is raise the volume very high 00:23:52.63\00:23:55.00 and then people around us hear the 00:23:55.23\00:23:56.76 program, because that we have heard many 00:23:56.76\00:23:59.86 of our neighbor listening to the 00:23:59.86\00:24:01.20 program in their homes. So, you turn it up 00:24:01.20\00:24:03.73 high enough the volume that many 00:24:03.73\00:24:05.43 people in the village can hear it from your home? 00:24:05.43\00:24:07.26 Yes, but before we had gone to their 00:24:09.93\00:24:12.76 homes to evangelize but they didn't listen to us. 00:24:12.76\00:24:16.23 So, that's where we tune the volume up in our radio. 00:24:16.53\00:24:19.36 But, now you know many of them are listening. 00:24:20.10\00:24:21.90 Almost everyone in our village can hear 00:24:25.33\00:24:27.50 AWR programs from our house. 00:24:27.50\00:24:29.53 You are wonderful family, and I'm so 00:24:30.30\00:24:31.90 glad you all came today, 00:24:31.90\00:24:32.86 I really appreciate it.
