I'm sure intrigued, 00:02:19.23\00:02:21.66 well who knows what? 00:02:21.66\00:02:22.83 Many of the houses here are more than 00:02:35.36\00:02:36.86 one hundred and fifty years old 00:02:36.86\00:02:38.30 and are constructed from the island's coral stone. 00:02:38.30\00:02:40.76 Build by Arab and Indian merchants in the 19th century. 00:02:41.06\00:02:44.16 The Arab influence on Zanzibar and Pemba Islands 00:02:45.13\00:02:47.73 is evident in the people, who are a mix of Shirazia 00:02:47.96\00:02:50.86 from Persia, Arabs, Comorians, 00:02:50.86\00:02:53.40 from the Comoros Islands and Bantu from the mainland. 00:02:53.40\00:02:56.80 Though the latter predominate. 00:02:57.23\00:02:58.76 97% of Zanzibar's population practices the Islamic faith; 00:03:04.23\00:03:08.96 almost every street corner in Stone Town 00:03:09.26\00:03:11.80 has a small family mosque. 00:03:12.13\00:03:13.86 The Islamic influence is seen in the architecture 00:03:14.26\00:03:16.86 and in the address of the people. 00:03:16.86\00:03:18.33 Amos and AWR listener had been a Muslim 00:03:19.90\00:03:22.83 until he had heard of the forgiveness, 00:03:22.83\00:03:24.53 sacrifice and power of Jesus Christ. 00:03:24.86\00:03:27.50 Amos, it's a privilege to meet with you today. 00:03:28.73\00:03:31.06 Thank you. Yeah, this is cinnamon. 00:09:04.40\00:09:06.56 No wonder it smells awesome. So, the cinnamon sticks that 00:09:06.56\00:09:10.10 we buy in the super market they are actually bark, 00:09:10.10\00:09:12.23 dried and rolled, after dry this, 00:09:12.83\00:09:14.63 it roll and becomes normal stick. 00:09:14.90\00:09:16.23 all this digging you're looking for a root 00:09:27.26\00:09:28.83 and what do you with the roots? Roots are medicine, 00:09:29.10\00:09:31.96 wow that is a strong smell, it smells like a medicine. 00:09:37.00\00:09:40.66 Because we believe all spices are medicine. 00:09:40.96\00:09:43.10 Not like, we get medicine in lemongrass, 00:09:44.63\00:09:48.36 we get medicine in black pepper, 00:09:48.36\00:09:50.26 I get medicine in cinnamon, we get medicine in cardamom. 00:09:50.26\00:09:52.90 All spice, we use as a spice 00:09:52.90\00:09:54.43 and also we can use as a medicine. 00:09:54.43\00:09:56.20 Now, it's interesting because the Bible talks about cinnamon 00:09:56.20\00:09:58.83 as one of the spices that God directed Moses 00:09:59.10\00:10:02.10 to use in his sanctuary. So that, you know it's 00:10:02.10\00:10:04.83 such a sweet smelling spice, now I can see why? 00:10:04.83\00:10:07.70 There are more than 50 spices and fruits, 00:10:09.56\00:10:11.50 including cinnamon, pepper, pimentos, ginger, 00:10:11.50\00:10:14.96 tamarind, coffee and sugar cane. 00:10:15.30\00:10:18.03 Coconuts are another main product of the islands. 00:10:19.03\00:10:21.80 Coconut palms grow wild along the coastline, 00:10:22.66\00:10:25.10 and they are cultivated in plantation 00:10:25.40\00:10:27.30 scattered throughout the islands. 00:10:27.30\00:10:28.80 After cloves, coconuts are the second most important crop 00:10:29.30\00:10:32.70 and harvested throughout the year by men 00:10:32.70\00:10:35.06 who scale the long trunks using a short loop of rope. 00:10:35.06\00:10:38.23 The tough hairy brown shells of the bright coconuts 00:10:43.40\00:10:46.53 have split open and the kernel is pounded 00:10:46.53\00:10:48.83 and mixed with water to make coconut milk. 00:10:48.83\00:10:51.16 The kernel is also processed in oil, used in foods 00:10:52.13\00:10:55.86 and in the production of soaps, candles and hair tonics. 00:10:55.86\00:10:58.93 The white moist flesh of the coconut is used as a 00:10:59.63\00:11:02.23 cooking ingredient in almost every island dish. 00:11:02.23\00:11:05.03 Veiled women, ancient ruins 00:11:05.36\00:11:07.13 and exotic spices float before your eyes. 00:11:07.13\00:11:09.63 Located about 2 kilometers 00:11:10.33\00:11:12.00 north of Stone Town along the Bububu road. 00:11:12.00\00:11:14.26 Livingstone's House was built around 1860 00:11:14.56\00:11:17.40 and was used as a base by many European missionaries 00:11:17.73\00:11:20.80 and explorers, before they started 00:11:20.80\00:11:22.93 their journeys to the mainland. 00:11:22.93\00:11:24.30 During his travels, David Livingstone, 00:11:25.00\00:11:26.93 he was tormented by the ravages 00:11:26.93\00:11:28.46 of the slave trade that surrounded him. 00:11:28.46\00:11:30.30 Amos tripped back to Europe, 00:11:30.96\00:11:32.20 he spoken and wrote tirelessly against it, 00:11:32.20\00:11:34.50 in an effort to expose its horrors 00:11:34.50\00:11:36.60 and injustices to the rest of the world. 00:11:36.60\00:11:38.76 British attempts to halt the trade were mobilized 00:11:39.10\00:11:41.76 and it finally ground to a halt in the early 20th century. 00:11:41.76\00:11:45.53 According to our listener, he had once been 00:11:46.20\00:11:48.50 chained to the way of life that offered him little peace, 00:11:48.50\00:11:51.03 but once he accepted Christ all of that changed. 00:11:51.40\00:11:54.50 My family had many economic challenges, 00:11:58.26\00:12:00.50 so my parents could not afford to send me to high school. 00:12:01.16\00:12:03.76 Did you grow up in the city or in the country? 00:12:04.50\00:12:06.26 I grew up in a rural area. 00:12:07.20\00:12:09.36 And what did you do in the rural area for the family? 00:12:09.70\00:12:12.30 My business was very simple, 00:12:14.46\00:12:16.23 I will sell fruit and the money I would made, 00:12:17.06\00:12:20.33 I would share with my family. 00:12:20.33\00:12:21.73 So, did you continue to live with the family 00:12:22.43\00:12:24.40 or did you move away at some point? 00:12:24.40\00:12:26.03 I left my family and moved to another region 00:12:28.43\00:12:31.30 where I tried to make a living. 00:12:32.00\00:12:33.43 What caused you to leave the family, 00:12:34.40\00:12:36.00 why did you leave, there wasn't enough money 00:12:36.00\00:12:39.30 there to help support you or why did you leave? 00:12:39.30\00:12:42.10 I had to leave home because 00:12:43.33\00:12:45.06 my family economic situation was not very good. 00:12:45.06\00:12:48.43 I had to look for ways to sustain my own life 00:12:49.03\00:12:51.76 while also supporting my family. 00:12:52.10\00:12:53.63 Did it work for you, you moved away from the family, 00:12:54.36\00:12:56.83 where you able then to make a living and if so, how? 00:12:56.83\00:12:59.50 No, unfortunately I was not the 00:13:01.73\00:13:04.43 very successful supporting my family. 00:13:04.43\00:13:06.33 My financial state is really no concern to me, 00:13:08.90\00:13:11.46 what I care most about now is my relationship with God. 00:13:12.06\00:13:15.20 God has given me something even greater than money 00:13:16.80\00:13:19.46 and that is the meaning of life. 00:13:19.83\00:13:21.66 Did you have God at that time? 00:13:22.56\00:13:24.30 No, my understanding of God was different 00:13:26.33\00:13:29.16 before I heard the radio programs. 00:13:29.16\00:13:31.43 Explain that difference to me? 00:13:32.30\00:13:33.86 Three years ago, I heard a Christian radio 00:13:36.33\00:13:39.40 and since then my life has continued to change. 00:13:39.76\00:13:42.56 I now have hope in Christ, because I was lost, 00:13:43.36\00:13:47.26 but now I have received direction from God. 00:13:47.26\00:13:49.63 So, I'm very grateful for the radio, 00:13:49.96\00:13:52.13 what is that sense of direction you've talked about? 00:13:53.70\00:13:56.26 I thank God everyday for his radio program, 00:14:02.33\00:14:04.53 because they are so different from other stations. 00:14:05.00\00:14:07.40 The Christian program are very effective 00:14:08.16\00:14:10.00 and their teaching of the word of God. 00:14:10.30\00:14:12.20 They relieved the many truth of the only scriptures, 00:14:12.56\00:14:15.16 I'm now very different from when I was a Muslim. 00:14:16.43\00:14:19.16 And I want to thank God for this change in my life. 00:14:19.60\00:14:22.40 So, are you saying now that you have a real peace 00:14:23.70\00:14:26.00 in your life that you didn't have before? 00:14:26.00\00:14:27.96 That is true and even right now 00:14:29.63\00:14:31.73 I have a float of peace in my heart. 00:14:32.13\00:14:34.63 Every alleyway, every street and every nook, 00:14:38.70\00:14:41.03 every cranny I'm told everything leads to one place, 00:14:41.03\00:14:44.30 you can get lost in old Stone Town. 00:14:44.63\00:14:46.36 They either lead to the ocean or they lead to the old river, 00:14:47.16\00:14:50.03 which is now a roadway. But wherever it is, 00:14:50.03\00:14:53.10 it is all pretty incredible, 00:14:53.80\00:14:55.03 pretty amazing to see the architecture, 00:14:55.03\00:14:57.36 the old and the newer blend, 00:14:58.00\00:15:00.60 but not much of it is actually new. 00:15:00.60\00:15:02.60 Between the 12th and the 15th centuries, 00:15:03.86\00:15:06.00 the archipelago came into its own as trade with Arabia 00:15:06.36\00:15:09.66 and the Persian Gulf blossomed. 00:15:09.66\00:15:11.43 With trade from the East also came Islam 00:15:11.43\00:15:13.73 and the Arabic architecture 00:15:14.06\00:15:15.43 that still characterizes the archipelago today. 00:15:15.43\00:15:18.33 Did you know that even a door can tell a story 00:15:21.90\00:15:24.23 about the person who resides inside. 00:15:24.23\00:15:26.66 In this case, a person of wealth, 00:15:26.66\00:15:28.46 of power, of prestige. 00:15:28.46\00:15:29.86 The more ornate, the more massive, 00:15:30.56\00:15:32.20 the more wealth the person inside had. 00:15:32.50\00:15:34.53 Every door a particular and unique story. 00:15:36.66\00:15:39.80 The most famous feature of Zanzibar architecture 00:15:41.30\00:15:43.96 is the carved wooden doors. 00:15:43.96\00:15:45.70 There are more than five hundred 00:15:46.06\00:15:47.60 remaining today in Stone Town. 00:15:47.60\00:15:49.10 Many of which are older than the houses 00:15:49.50\00:15:51.30 in which they are set. 00:15:51.30\00:15:52.40 While older Arabic doors have a square frame 00:15:53.23\00:15:55.86 with geometrical shape, newer doors, 00:15:55.86\00:15:58.13 many of which were built towards the end of the 19th century 00:15:58.46\00:16:01.53 and incorporate Indian influences, 00:16:01.83\00:16:03.90 often have semicircular tops 00:16:04.20\00:16:06.50 and intricate floral decorations. 00:16:06.50\00:16:08.50 Some doors have large brass spikes, 00:16:08.96\00:16:11.10 which are a tradition from India, 00:16:11.10\00:16:12.76 where spikes protected doors 00:16:13.10\00:16:14.66 from being battered down by elephants. 00:16:14.66\00:16:16.63 Well this is the house of the infamous slave trader. 00:16:20.66\00:16:23.26 I can only imagine what he paid for 00:16:24.46\00:16:26.53 all these ornate decoration with, 00:16:26.53\00:16:28.23 the blood, sweat, tears and lives of slaves. 00:16:29.70\00:16:32.80 This is the oldest Christian Church in East Africa, 00:16:43.20\00:16:45.83 constructed in the 1870's 00:16:46.53\00:16:48.40 by the universities mission to central Africa. 00:16:48.40\00:16:50.70 The Anglican Cathedral was the first Anglican Church, 00:16:51.06\00:16:53.80 it was built on the site of the old slave market 00:16:54.43\00:16:56.53 alongside Creek Rd. Although nothing remains 00:16:56.53\00:16:59.86 of the slave market today, other than some holding cells, 00:16:59.86\00:17:03.10 the site remains a sobering reminder 00:17:03.43\00:17:05.86 of the not so distant past. 00:17:06.23\00:17:08.40 AWR is frontline mission radio. 00:17:11.96\00:17:14.30 Our first priority is to travel where missionaries cannot go. 00:17:14.30\00:17:18.13 We broadcast thousands of hours each day 00:17:18.13\00:17:20.86 in seventy major languages of the world. 00:17:20.86\00:17:23.03 AWR has the capability and capacity of blanketing 00:17:23.03\00:17:26.16 almost 80 percent of the world's population. 00:17:26.16\00:17:28.63 Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, animists or no belief at all. 00:17:30.10\00:17:33.66 God is using the radio waves of AWR to successfully call 00:17:34.10\00:17:38.10 and prepare a people for his soon return. 00:17:38.10\00:17:40.30 But the work is not finished your help is needed, 00:17:40.66\00:17:43.80 there are still so many 00:17:44.33\00:17:46.00 who must hear this precious message of hope. 00:17:46.00\00:17:48.36 Please partner with us today, 00:17:49.16\00:17:50.73 so others can hear and rejoice in the hope of Jesus Christ. 00:17:50.73\00:17:54.10 The hope that you and I have already found, 00:17:54.33\00:17:56.56 your gift of love will mean so much to so many. 00:17:57.33\00:18:00.80 If you would like to financially partner with us 00:18:00.80\00:18:03.26 or would like additional information. 00:18:03.26\00:18:05.30 Our toll free number is 1-866-503-3531. 00:18:05.30\00:18:11.16 Men, women, boys and girls, everyone's listening to 00:18:12.43\00:18:15.10 Adventist World Radio from Cairo and the great pyramids, 00:18:15.10\00:18:18.50 to the barren lands of Ethiopia. 00:18:21.56\00:18:23.56 From the vast plains of Kenya 00:18:26.73\00:18:28.30 and the Maasai lands of the Serengeti, 00:18:28.63\00:18:30.86 to the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. 00:18:32.13\00:18:34.30 All the way here to the exotic shores of Zanzibar and beyond. 00:18:36.56\00:18:40.60 Through the radio waves of AWR 00:18:42.36\00:18:44.10 God is reaching people around the world. 00:18:44.43\00:18:46.30 We'd like to offer you an edition of Making Waves. 00:18:48.06\00:18:50.30 It's four of our episodes 00:18:50.66\00:18:52.00 brought to you from around the world. 00:18:52.00\00:18:53.76 God speaking to hearts, 00:18:54.53\00:18:56.03 the hearts of the listeners of AWR, exciting stories. 00:18:56.03\00:18:58.76 We hope that you'll share those with friends 00:18:59.13\00:19:00.86 and neighbors, acquaintances, 00:19:00.86\00:19:02.50 anyone you come in contact with. 00:19:02.50\00:19:04.00 Join us to Make Waves. 00:20:01.26\00:20:02.73 These people were already beaten and chained 00:20:03.26\00:20:05.30 in submission, they were starved. 00:20:05.30\00:20:06.66 But here in the center of the market 00:20:07.60\00:20:09.13 they would whip them and beat them 00:20:09.13\00:20:10.36 and then they would auction them off to the highest bidder. 00:20:10.36\00:20:12.80 But ten years after slavery was banned, 00:20:13.76\00:20:15.76 they built this edifice to commemorate 00:20:15.76\00:20:18.76 all the lives that were lost here. 00:20:19.66\00:20:21.20 Slavery has been practiced in Africa 00:20:26.50\00:20:28.60 throughout recorded history, but its greatest expansion 00:20:28.60\00:20:31.86 in East Africa came with the rise of Islam, 00:20:31.86\00:20:34.43 which prohibited enslavement of Muslims. 00:20:34.43\00:20:36.76 Demands of European plantation holders on the islands 00:20:37.23\00:20:40.23 of Reunion and Mauritius were another major catalyst, 00:20:40.23\00:20:43.40 particularly during the second half of the 18th century. 00:20:43.73\00:20:47.00 At the outset, slaves were taken from 00:20:47.33\00:20:49.60 coastal regions and shipped to Arabia, 00:20:49.60\00:20:51.86 Persian and the Indian Ocean islands. 00:20:51.86\00:20:54.40 Well, right now we're going down the slave chambers, 00:20:56.33\00:20:58.20 where they used to keep hundreds of slaves in an area 00:20:58.20\00:21:01.36 you probably can't see it here because it's too dark, 00:21:01.36\00:21:03.40 but an area that is so tiny and would be so vile 00:21:03.40\00:21:06.53 and so filthy, it's beyond imagination. 00:21:06.73\00:21:09.26 This is where they brought them from the mainland, 00:21:13.50\00:21:15.00 to be chained down here, 00:21:15.00\00:21:16.43 hundreds at a time in these tiny cells, 00:21:16.43\00:21:19.03 waiting for the slave ships to come. 00:21:19.66\00:21:21.46 What awaited them on their journey? 00:21:22.20\00:21:23.63 Pain, torture, sickness, death, for the fortunate few, 00:21:24.06\00:21:27.96 if we can called them fortunate? 00:21:27.96\00:21:29.36 To finally make it to the mainland, 00:21:29.70\00:21:31.00 to a place where they're going to be whipped 00:21:31.36\00:21:33.10 and sold into slavery for the rest of their lives. 00:21:33.56\00:21:36.50 It's beyond the imagination for us to even think about it. 00:21:36.96\00:21:40.96 By the 19th century, 00:21:42.46\00:21:43.80 with the rise of the Omani Arabs, 00:21:43.80\00:21:45.43 Zanzibar had eclipsed Kisiwani 00:21:45.76\00:21:47.76 as East Africa's major slave-trading depot. 00:21:47.76\00:21:50.63 According to some estimates, 00:21:51.03\00:21:52.33 by the 1860s some 10,000 to as many as 50,000 00:21:52.33\00:21:57.23 slaves were passing through Zanzibar's market each year. 00:21:57.23\00:22:00.93 Overall, close to 600,000 slaves were sold 00:22:02.16\00:22:05.46 through Zanzibar between 1830 and 1873, 00:22:05.46\00:22:09.76 when a treaty with Britain 00:22:10.30\00:22:11.80 finally ended the regional trade. 00:22:11.80\00:22:13.86 Slavery is so evil, so vile, so hideous, 00:22:20.13\00:22:24.70 it's hard to imagine, and it goes on 00:22:24.70\00:22:27.60 in some places in the world today. 00:22:27.60\00:22:29.10 But you know, it goes on more than 00:22:29.66\00:22:32.13 we think because everyone of us are enslaved somehow, 00:22:32.13\00:22:34.70 at some point in our lives by the devil. 00:22:34.70\00:22:37.40 We're chained to every evil vice 00:22:38.03\00:22:40.63 that the devil sets in front of us, 00:22:40.63\00:22:42.06 but praise God, ministries like 00:22:42.33\00:22:44.30 AWR are putting the gospel message 00:22:44.30\00:22:46.70 on there to set people free. 00:22:46.70\00:22:48.30 Can lives are being changed, hearts are being 00:22:48.66\00:22:51.30 given to Jesus Christ and in Jesus we are set free. 00:22:51.30\00:22:55.16 What do you think would have happened in your life 00:22:57.80\00:22:59.86 had you never turned on that radio dial? 00:23:00.20\00:23:02.73 I wanted to really know who God is, 00:23:06.46\00:23:08.60 if God hadn't use the radio presenter to bring the light 00:23:09.33\00:23:12.56 of Jesus Christ to the people through 00:23:12.56\00:23:14.80 the radio I would still be lost. 00:23:14.80\00:23:16.90 But because I've heard the message 00:23:17.73\00:23:19.36 I thank God in special way. And it is my prayer 00:23:19.63\00:23:22.60 that this Christian radio ministry 00:23:22.60\00:23:24.16 continue to broadcast to the people. 00:23:24.70\00:23:26.60 Why did you listen that first day, 00:23:27.23\00:23:29.40 what got you to tune the radio to the program 00:23:29.40\00:23:31.70 on that very first day you heard? 00:23:31.70\00:23:33.30 The first time I heard the radio program 00:23:36.30\00:23:38.16 he was answering question on Bible efforts, 00:23:38.43\00:23:41.03 I was very moved by the answers 00:23:41.66\00:23:43.50 that were provided by the presenters. 00:23:43.50\00:23:45.70 The radio showed people that didn't have a deep 00:23:46.06\00:23:48.43 understanding of the word of God, 00:23:48.43\00:23:50.10 this made me want to know more. 00:23:50.60\00:23:51.96 After the program I was over realized 00:23:52.56\00:23:54.90 that this radio program was such a necessity for people. 00:23:54.90\00:23:57.93 And many would have been enlightened 00:23:58.30\00:23:59.73 on spiritual and Biblical efforts. 00:23:59.73\00:24:01.70 I was so moved by the program that I continue to listen 00:24:02.93\00:24:05.96 and I haven't stopped listening since. 00:24:05.96\00:24:07.86 Do you tell other people to listen to the radio now? 00:24:09.20\00:24:11.50 I tuned into the radio program and I increased the volume, 00:24:15.03\00:24:18.20 so it is loud enough for my neighbor to hear. 00:24:18.20\00:24:21.20 I'm very happy to shared that my neighbors 00:24:23.50\00:24:25.43 were touched by the Christian music 00:24:25.90\00:24:27.50 and they came closer to listen, 00:24:27.50\00:24:29.16 so this is one of the ways I'm sharing what I heard. 00:24:29.70\00:24:32.60 So, other hearts are changing because you turned 00:24:33.06\00:24:35.20 the radio up loud enough for everybody to hear. 00:24:35.20\00:24:37.53 I do believe this has influenced the people living around me. 00:24:41.40\00:24:44.96 Because when I'm at home, I heard them tuning 00:24:45.43\00:24:48.16 into the Christian radio programs on their own 00:24:48.16\00:24:51.10 and I think this is also attracting others to listen. 00:24:51.10\00:24:54.20 Has it made a difference for your family, 00:24:54.60\00:24:56.70 the rest of your family? 00:24:56.70\00:24:57.86 In fact something has actually happened within my family, 00:25:01.13\00:25:04.03 many of my relative and family members 00:25:04.90\00:25:06.93 are now tuning to the radio programs. 00:25:06.93\00:25:09.10 This makes my witnessing to my family easier 00:25:09.46\00:25:12.23 because the radio program answers 00:25:12.83\00:25:14.66 many question about God that I can't. 00:25:15.06\00:25:17.36 I already know the answer to this 00:25:18.03\00:25:19.70 I think but I wanna ask you 00:25:19.70\00:25:20.90 anyway because I like your smile, 00:25:20.90\00:25:22.63 do you believe that the Lord is coming soon 00:25:22.93\00:25:24.56 and are you looking forward to his coming? 00:25:24.56\00:25:26.23 Yes, I'm really looking forward to the coming of Jesus. 00:25:29.46\00:25:32.30 His arrival is my greatest expectation. 00:25:32.80\00:25:35.53 I'm looking forward to being there 00:25:36.53\00:25:37.70 with you brother, thank you so much. 00:25:37.70\00:25:39.23 Amos in our story today was very nominal 00:25:41.16\00:25:44.43 in the religion that he grew up with. 00:25:44.43\00:25:46.56 He told us that he was only interested 00:25:47.00\00:25:49.20 in the physical things of life. Where he would get his food 00:25:49.20\00:25:52.73 and the things that he could surround himself with. 00:25:52.73\00:25:55.76 He was not very successful financially, 00:25:56.26\00:25:58.63 but then he began listening to morning star radio. 00:25:59.13\00:26:02.86 The local FM station in Dar es salaam in Tanzania, 00:26:03.26\00:26:06.83 a station that AWR helped to establish. 00:26:07.13\00:26:10.30 After he began listening he said 00:26:11.26\00:26:13.40 I began to get a sense of direction. 00:26:13.96\00:26:16.40 He also found Jesus Christ by listening to those programs. 00:26:16.80\00:26:20.86 And I just love the statement that he made. 00:26:21.23\00:26:23.60 I have a flood of peace that came into my heart as a result. 00:26:24.00\00:26:29.73 It reminds me of that text in the book of 00:26:30.30\00:26:32.90 Isaiah chapter 26 and verse 3 speaking of God: 00:26:32.90\00:26:36.56 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, 00:26:37.56\00:26:40.70 whose mind is stayed upon thee: 00:26:41.06\00:26:44.26 when we think about God, God brings peace into our lives. 00:26:45.46\00:26:49.36 You too can have a sense of direction 00:26:49.96\00:26:52.80 and peace of mind in your life. 00:26:52.80\00:26:55.10 Come to Jesus accept Him 00:26:55.53\00:26:57.70 and your life can be flooded with peace. 00:26:57.70\00:27:00.60 Amos, for Amos listening to the radio 00:27:01.23\00:27:03.83 was the start of a new life, 00:27:03.83\00:27:05.43 AWR often hears from listeners about the peace 00:27:06.56\00:27:10.23 that comes into their lives 00:27:10.23\00:27:12.70 when they listen to our programming. 00:27:12.70\00:27:14.70 So, why don't you partner with us, 00:27:14.96\00:27:17.30 so that we can continue to spread peace 00:27:17.76\00:27:21.16 in people's lives around the world? 00:27:21.73\00:27:23.86 AWR is helping to break the chains of the devil, 00:27:24.33\00:27:27.50 if you'd like to help in that process 00:27:28.06\00:27:29.63 of setting people free in Jesus Christ. 00:27:29.63\00:27:31.63 Give us a call today 1-866-503-3531 00:27:31.63\00:27:36.56 or you can write us at 12501, Old Columbia Pike, 00:27:37.00\00:27:40.53 Silver Spring, MD 20904 or log on to www.awr.org 00:27:40.53\00:27:48.33 and thank you for watching and please join us 00:27:48.63\00:27:50.53 again for another exciting gospel adventure 00:27:50.53\00:27:52.53 because around the world AWR is Making Waves. 00:27:52.53\00:27:56.46
