Union College's school song 00:00:01.36\00:00:02.70 may be about slinging the ink and push in the pen. 00:00:02.73\00:00:04.80 But this week is all about swinging the hammer. 00:00:04.83\00:00:07.37 About 90 Maranatha Volunteers 00:00:07.40\00:00:09.24 are on campus in Lincoln, Nebraska 00:00:09.27\00:00:11.01 to renovate the women's dormitory. 00:00:11.04\00:00:13.24 The work includes demolition, painting, and carpentry. 00:00:13.27\00:00:16.85 The project will also require much electrical work. 00:00:16.88\00:00:19.55 And fortunately, this team has plenty of skilled workers. 00:00:19.58\00:00:23.08 Among the volunteers is Larry Road Sr. 00:00:23.12\00:00:25.79 He was the electrician who wired this same dorm 00:00:25.82\00:00:28.29 when it was first built. 00:00:28.32\00:00:29.92 Now he is almost 90 years old and back to help. 00:00:29.96\00:00:33.13 Another Maranatha volunteer Mick Ray 00:00:33.16\00:00:35.66 owns Empire Electric in Lincoln. 00:00:35.70\00:00:38.17 He has encouraged his staff of trained electricians 00:00:38.20\00:00:40.64 to join the project for as many days as possible. 00:00:40.67\00:00:43.91 It's the generosity of volunteers like 00:00:43.94\00:00:45.87 Larry and Mick 00:00:45.91\00:00:47.24 who make each Maranatha mission trip 00:00:47.28\00:00:48.88 a success and a blessing to everyone involved. 00:00:48.91\00:00:51.95 Hear more about our projects in North America 00:00:51.98\00:00:53.98 at our Annual Mission Maranatha Event 00:00:54.02\00:00:55.72 in Sacramento, California, September 19 to 21. 00:00:55.75\00:00:58.65 Check out our website. 00:00:58.69\00:01:00.02 Every year Maranatha coordinates 00:01:29.98\00:01:32.09 approximately 16 mission trips for more than 2,000 volunteers. 00:01:32.12\00:01:36.09 The goal of each project is to fulfill a practical need 00:01:39.33\00:01:42.23 in a local community, 00:01:42.26\00:01:44.33 such as providing a structure or critical outreach. 00:01:44.37\00:01:46.94 Each project also aims to create an experience 00:01:51.71\00:01:54.44 that is transformative 00:01:54.48\00:01:55.81 in the lives of everyone involved. 00:01:55.84\00:01:57.18 When it comes to this goal, Maranatha has seen 00:02:01.62\00:02:04.02 the biggest impact in the youngest volunteers. 00:02:04.05\00:02:06.79 Ultimate workout is a mission trip 00:02:23.91\00:02:25.57 specially designed for teenagers in high school. 00:02:25.61\00:02:27.94 You think the basic living conditions 00:02:36.42\00:02:38.29 and the challenging work 00:02:38.32\00:02:39.65 would be a deterrent for young people. 00:02:39.69\00:02:42.26 But it is one of Maranatha's most popular projects. 00:02:42.29\00:02:45.06 Since 1990, more than 3,800 volunteers 00:02:50.17\00:02:53.84 have participated in this mission experience. 00:02:53.87\00:02:56.37 The summer of 2018 was no different, 00:03:06.38\00:03:08.75 as nearly 100 teens gathered in Entre Rios, Bolivia 00:03:08.78\00:03:12.39 ready to tackle several projects 00:03:12.42\00:03:14.06 in the community. 00:03:14.09\00:03:15.42 One of their major focus areas 00:03:20.16\00:03:21.76 was the Entre Rios Adventist School. 00:03:21.80\00:03:24.67 The school is well regarded, 00:03:24.70\00:03:26.03 but has outgrown their facilities 00:03:26.07\00:03:28.37 and their existing classrooms were in need of renovation. 00:03:28.40\00:03:33.78 The team's worked to build new classrooms for the school 00:03:33.81\00:03:36.44 as well as helping to update the existing ones. 00:03:36.48\00:03:38.91 Another group focused on helping 00:03:46.76\00:03:48.22 the Rio Blanco congregation. 00:03:48.26\00:03:51.69 Each week 50 people meet in this church. 00:03:51.73\00:03:55.26 But the structure was showing some exterior wear and tear. 00:03:55.30\00:03:59.70 The teens attacked the project with gusto, 00:03:59.73\00:04:02.04 cleaning and repainting the outside of the church 00:04:02.07\00:04:04.54 as well as constructing retaining wall on the property. 00:04:04.57\00:04:07.18 Outside of construction, finding other ways 00:04:12.98\00:04:15.42 to make a difference in the community 00:04:15.45\00:04:16.92 was a large part of the volunteers' work. 00:04:16.95\00:04:19.89 Teens served in a variety of ways 00:04:19.92\00:04:21.86 including community cleanup and children's programs. 00:04:21.89\00:04:24.86 The medical team traveled around the local community. 00:04:29.00\00:04:32.60 This outreach also enabled the teams 00:04:32.63\00:04:34.64 to work alongside medical professionals 00:04:34.67\00:04:36.74 and gain invaluable experience. 00:04:36.77\00:04:38.77 Yet the physical work is only one part of the experience. 00:04:45.05\00:04:48.98 Perhaps more than any other Maranatha project, 00:04:49.02\00:04:51.69 ultimate workout emphasizes 00:04:51.72\00:04:53.52 spiritual growth in its volunteers. 00:04:53.56\00:04:55.92 Adult leaders are carefully selected 00:04:55.96\00:04:57.89 and a program is prayerfully planned 00:04:57.93\00:05:00.13 to nurture and atmosphere holy focused 00:05:00.16\00:05:02.70 on a closer walk with God. 00:05:02.73\00:05:05.90 Pastor Brandon Westgate 00:05:05.93\00:05:07.27 has served as the spiritual coordinator 00:05:07.30\00:05:09.40 for Ultimate Workout for several years, 00:05:09.44\00:05:11.64 leading the teenagers through morning 00:05:11.67\00:05:13.34 and evening worships. 00:05:13.38\00:05:14.94 This year, he used small group discussions 00:05:14.98\00:05:17.21 to build trust among the volunteers. 00:05:17.25\00:05:20.25 He encouraged them to share their stories with each other 00:05:20.28\00:05:22.85 in the context of faith and with the goal 00:05:22.88\00:05:25.15 of strengthening their relationship with God. 00:05:25.19\00:05:29.16 The results were powerful. 00:05:29.19\00:05:32.13 It's nice to know that I'm not alone 00:05:32.16\00:05:34.83 in those situations. 00:05:34.86\00:05:36.70 And it's been really cool how we've been able to bond 00:05:36.73\00:05:41.17 and relate to each other and help each other through it. 00:05:41.20\00:05:44.67 And how we've been able to develop trust enough 00:05:44.71\00:05:48.58 with each other in this short amount of time, 00:05:48.61\00:05:51.35 in order to tell each other things like this 00:05:51.38\00:05:53.62 and trust the other person 00:05:53.65\00:05:55.48 to not mock you but to help you. 00:05:55.52\00:05:58.95 The whole community idea has been 00:05:58.99\00:06:02.19 overwhelming, honestly. 00:06:02.22\00:06:04.89 For Noah Wenberg, the worships didn't just grow his faith, 00:06:04.93\00:06:08.73 it brought him back to God 00:06:08.76\00:06:10.20 after a period of disbelief and disconnect. 00:06:10.23\00:06:13.34 When I was 12, I became atheist 00:06:13.37\00:06:15.20 because of some stuff that happened to my family 00:06:15.24\00:06:18.04 and we lost my older brother 00:06:18.07\00:06:20.81 and I didn't feel that right. 00:06:20.84\00:06:24.45 Because everybody said God was a loving God and caring 00:06:24.48\00:06:28.58 and so I got angry at Him and I threw it against Him. 00:06:28.62\00:06:31.19 And I'd decided it would be easier 00:06:31.22\00:06:33.19 not to believe in Him at all. 00:06:33.22\00:06:35.12 And I fell in a dark path and coming here, 00:06:35.16\00:06:37.96 as I saw the community and the grace 00:06:37.99\00:06:39.69 and the teens that came and the staff, 00:06:39.73\00:06:43.53 and it reminded me and God showed me that 00:06:43.57\00:06:47.24 He's there and He cares. 00:06:47.27\00:06:48.60 I felt like I was the only person 00:06:48.64\00:06:49.97 that had that struggle because everybody here 00:06:50.01\00:06:53.94 is an Adventist himself and I opened 00:06:53.98\00:06:55.58 because when I got to know my team better, 00:06:55.61\00:06:58.55 I learned that I wasn't the only one 00:06:58.58\00:07:00.98 struggling with it. 00:07:01.02\00:07:02.35 And I wasn't different 00:07:02.38\00:07:03.72 and that people coming back to Christ just like I was. 00:07:03.75\00:07:06.25 This has got to be the easiest place 00:07:10.93\00:07:13.23 to build relationship with people 00:07:13.26\00:07:14.70 because you have people who think like you, 00:07:14.73\00:07:17.17 who believe like you, 00:07:17.20\00:07:18.53 and even those who don't believe like you 00:07:18.57\00:07:20.90 start to believe because of how close we got. 00:07:20.94\00:07:23.81 I feel like now like I'm part of like a community 00:07:23.84\00:07:26.51 because there is people of my age 00:07:26.54\00:07:28.48 who felt the same way I did when I first got here. 00:07:28.51\00:07:31.15 And like we've all formed like a connection like I feel like 00:07:31.18\00:07:34.48 after this I'll know so many more 00:07:34.52\00:07:37.52 Adventist young adults and young people 00:07:37.55\00:07:39.99 and we only get stronger from here. 00:07:40.02\00:07:44.19 The whole group in general 00:07:44.23\00:07:47.60 has been awesome with, 00:07:47.63\00:07:49.30 you know, sharing experiences. 00:07:49.33\00:07:50.87 It would be wonderful to get together in heaven. 00:07:50.90\00:07:55.50 But not all of the teams arrive as willing participants. 00:07:55.54\00:07:58.87 Last year, Josh Gayle's first ultimate workout experience 00:07:58.91\00:08:02.38 had a rocky start. 00:08:02.41\00:08:04.38 I flew down to Panama and Dina 00:08:04.41\00:08:08.48 was picking out the participants that day 00:08:08.52\00:08:12.32 and she picked me up. 00:08:12.35\00:08:13.82 And the first words I said to her was 00:08:13.86\00:08:15.49 I don't want to be here and my mom made me come here. 00:08:15.52\00:08:20.86 And she looked at me and said, well, you have two options, 00:08:20.90\00:08:25.13 you can make this the best two weeks of your life 00:08:25.17\00:08:27.37 or the worst two weeks of your life. 00:08:27.40\00:08:30.27 It wasn't long before Josh began making connections 00:08:30.31\00:08:33.11 with other teams during work and worship. 00:08:33.14\00:08:35.68 Ten days later, not only did he return home changed, 00:08:35.71\00:08:38.48 but the positive experience brought him back the next year 00:08:38.51\00:08:41.38 to serve in Bolivia. 00:08:41.42\00:08:43.55 Like many of the teams, 00:08:43.59\00:08:45.05 worship is still his favorite part 00:08:45.09\00:08:46.89 of the project. 00:08:46.92\00:08:48.46 I am on cloud nine. 00:08:48.49\00:08:50.13 When I'm behind my instrument 00:08:50.16\00:08:52.49 and everyone's singing their heart out 00:08:52.53\00:08:55.13 and like the spirit moves with the music. 00:08:55.16\00:08:59.00 And I feel that and I just like, 00:08:59.03\00:09:01.67 I think I'm almost cheered up while playing. 00:09:01.70\00:09:03.27 It's such a powerful experience being able to be about, 00:09:06.31\00:09:10.45 I'd be behind Isaac and beside all of, 00:09:10.48\00:09:12.95 all my colleagues, 00:09:12.98\00:09:14.68 we're making a joyful noise together. 00:09:14.72\00:09:18.59 It's a great thing. 00:09:18.62\00:09:19.95 In Bolivia, by the close of the project, 00:09:23.12\00:09:25.13 the volunteers were able 00:09:25.16\00:09:26.49 to help with quite a bit of transformation 00:09:26.53\00:09:28.06 in the local community. 00:09:28.10\00:09:31.73 They successfully built a classroom. 00:09:31.77\00:09:33.50 Renovated a church. 00:09:40.88\00:09:42.21 Served 550 patients 00:09:45.98\00:09:50.75 and shared the love of Jesus all around. 00:09:50.79\00:09:53.19 Yet the biggest change was within themselves. 00:09:59.76\00:10:02.06 At the end of the project 00:10:08.20\00:10:09.67 18 teams made the decision 00:10:09.70\00:10:11.71 to commit or recommit their lives to Christ. 00:10:11.74\00:10:14.94 I think the part that's changed my life the most was like 00:10:14.98\00:10:19.01 seeing God again in the small things 00:10:19.05\00:10:22.35 and I had the opportunity to get me baptized. 00:10:22.38\00:10:24.85 I struggled most with Christ, 00:10:27.92\00:10:29.62 a good eight months before I got here. 00:10:29.66\00:10:31.46 And so my heart was still little hard. 00:10:31.49\00:10:33.56 And throughout the week, it just softened. 00:10:33.60\00:10:36.56 And I had this like mountaintop experience, 00:10:36.60\00:10:40.64 where eventually I was baptized this week 00:10:40.67\00:10:42.97 which was just an amazing decision 00:10:43.00\00:10:45.41 and the best decision of my life. 00:10:45.44\00:10:47.34 And so it's just... It's been incredible. 00:10:47.38\00:10:49.51 This is the power of missions. 00:10:54.68\00:10:56.28 When we answer the call to grow faith 00:11:01.72\00:11:03.76 and hope in each other and in ourselves, 00:11:03.79\00:11:06.86 there is no limit to what God will provide. 00:11:06.90\00:11:11.63 I think that being able to serve 00:11:11.67\00:11:13.60 and impact other people really helped me change my own life, 00:11:13.64\00:11:16.67 and that's something I'll never forget. 00:11:16.71\00:11:18.87 Experience ultimate workout next year in Kenya. 00:11:25.78\00:11:29.28 Go to maranatha.org woman. 00:13:56.16\00:14:00.67 In rural areas, 00:14:00.70\00:14:02.04 the number jumps to eight children per woman. 00:14:02.07\00:14:04.74 The result is a young population 00:14:04.77\00:14:06.74 with almost half of the country under the age of 14. 00:14:06.78\00:14:10.68 As Angola emerges from 27 years of civil war, 00:14:10.71\00:14:14.18 the country is looking to this younger generation 00:14:14.22\00:14:16.65 to help rebuild the nation. 00:14:16.69\00:14:19.39 A critical component of the recovery process 00:14:19.42\00:14:21.82 is education, 00:14:21.86\00:14:23.53 but many of the schools 00:14:23.56\00:14:24.89 were destroyed during the conflict. 00:14:24.93\00:14:27.80 And the country lacks the infrastructure 00:14:27.83\00:14:29.76 and resources to rebuild. 00:14:29.80\00:14:32.50 So many people are in need of a quality education. 00:14:32.53\00:14:36.27 Where can they find hope for a better future? 00:14:36.30\00:14:39.54 With the help of Maranatha Volunteers International 00:14:39.57\00:14:42.18 the Seventh-day Adventist Church 00:14:42.21\00:14:43.75 is slowly rebuilding its educational system, 00:14:43.78\00:14:47.45 providing an alternative for families 00:14:47.48\00:14:49.32 who are seeking more than 00:14:49.35\00:14:50.69 what is currently offered in government schools. 00:14:50.72\00:14:53.05 Recently, we returned to Angola to see 00:14:53.09\00:14:55.36 how the buildings constructed by Maranatha 00:14:55.39\00:14:57.59 are affecting the local communities. 00:14:57.63\00:14:59.39 Luanda, Angola's capital has many of the trappings 00:15:02.43\00:15:05.87 of a cutting edge metropolis. 00:15:05.90\00:15:09.54 The city is experiencing a renaissance 00:15:09.57\00:15:11.87 as the discovery of oil and diamonds 00:15:11.91\00:15:13.94 has brought an influx of money into the country. 00:15:13.98\00:15:18.68 But much of the progress is isolated to a select few. 00:15:18.71\00:15:24.22 The landscape changes 00:15:24.25\00:15:25.59 as you enter the many neighborhoods 00:15:25.62\00:15:27.46 that extend beyond the city skyline. 00:15:27.49\00:15:30.73 Pavement turns to dirt and time slows. 00:15:30.76\00:15:35.30 The neighborhood of Alegria is west of the city. 00:15:35.33\00:15:38.50 In Portuguese, the language spoken in Angola, 00:15:38.53\00:15:41.20 alegria means happiness. 00:15:41.24\00:15:44.17 And in spite of the many challenges 00:15:44.21\00:15:45.91 people face, happiness can be found, 00:15:45.94\00:15:49.21 especially on the faces of the children like Amelia. 00:15:49.24\00:15:54.48 She moved to the area four years ago 00:15:54.52\00:15:56.35 when she was 12 years old. 00:15:56.38\00:15:57.72 The unstable circumstances of Amelia's home life 00:16:22.54\00:16:25.45 left her struggling. 00:16:25.48\00:16:27.62 One day she ended up 00:16:27.65\00:16:29.22 on her aunt's doorstep distraught. 00:16:29.25\00:16:31.05 Her aunt, a Seventh-day Adventist 00:16:46.20\00:16:48.70 invited Amelia to live with her 00:16:48.74\00:16:50.54 and immediately found a way to place her 00:16:50.57\00:16:52.71 in the Alegria Adventist School 00:16:52.74\00:16:54.94 located a few blocks from their home. 00:16:54.98\00:16:58.95 The Alegria School started in a pastor's yard 00:16:58.98\00:17:01.52 and later moved into the Alegria church. 00:17:01.55\00:17:05.29 Little by little members managed to build 00:17:05.32\00:17:07.79 five classrooms. 00:17:07.82\00:17:09.96 At the new school, Amelia was learning many things. 00:17:09.99\00:17:13.33 Yet the conditions of the old buildings 00:17:13.36\00:17:15.26 left much to be desired. 00:17:15.30\00:17:17.27 And like many in Angola, 00:17:26.61\00:17:28.64 Amelia's family could barely afford 00:17:28.68\00:17:30.48 to keep her in private school. 00:17:30.51\00:17:31.95 The Alegria School charges 00:18:12.15\00:18:13.52 between $5 and $10 per month per student. 00:18:13.56\00:18:17.96 Even this is a struggle, 00:18:17.99\00:18:20.00 as about half of the population lives below the poverty line, 00:18:20.03\00:18:23.70 earning around $3 a day. 00:18:23.73\00:18:26.60 The life conditions of people around 00:18:26.63\00:18:29.10 in this community is not that so good. 00:18:29.14\00:18:31.44 Because of the social problems 00:18:31.47\00:18:33.07 we have these kinds of problems also within the church setting 00:18:33.11\00:18:36.68 and the people here, they are not that rich. 00:18:36.71\00:18:41.58 And we really face a lot of difficulties here 00:18:41.62\00:18:45.55 and this difficulties they are brought also 00:18:45.59\00:18:47.96 within the church because the church 00:18:47.99\00:18:49.52 are made up of people who made up the society, 00:18:49.56\00:18:52.76 so we don't have that much here in the church. 00:18:52.79\00:18:56.16 And we tried to do with what we have. 00:18:56.20\00:19:00.90 Despite the poor infrastructure of the school, 00:19:29.76\00:19:32.13 and the financial sacrifice required of parents, 00:19:32.17\00:19:35.30 the quality Christian education 00:19:35.34\00:19:37.14 had the school operating above capacity. 00:19:37.17\00:19:40.48 But expansion was out of the realm of possibility. 00:19:40.51\00:19:44.41 The school struggled to build the existing classrooms 00:19:44.45\00:19:46.98 and had no additional funding. 00:19:47.02\00:19:49.35 When Maranatha began working in Angola in 2013, 00:19:49.38\00:19:53.02 new classrooms for the Alegria School 00:19:53.05\00:19:55.19 were a priority. 00:19:55.22\00:19:57.09 In May 2017, Maranatha cruise began pouring floors 00:19:57.13\00:20:01.06 and assembling frames for 12 00:20:01.10\00:20:03.20 one day school classrooms at Alegria. 00:20:03.23\00:20:06.70 Today, Amelia and her fellow students 00:20:06.74\00:20:08.84 are learning in bright new classrooms. 00:20:08.87\00:20:13.48 Alegria is just one of the places 00:20:13.51\00:20:15.21 where Maranatha is promoting change. 00:20:15.24\00:20:17.75 For years to come, hundreds of churches, 00:20:17.78\00:20:20.42 classrooms, and a large education 00:20:20.45\00:20:22.75 and evangelism center will change 00:20:22.78\00:20:24.42 not only the landscape, 00:20:24.45\00:20:25.79 but the lives of thousands of people in Angola. 00:20:25.82\00:20:28.49 This mission is already being fulfilled at Alegria. 00:20:52.25\00:20:55.58 Amelia's journey is evidence 00:20:55.62\00:20:57.19 of how a Christ centered education 00:20:57.22\00:20:58.75 can change your life in more ways than one. 00:20:58.79\00:21:01.16 When Amelia decided to come to Luanda and find her family, 00:21:56.88\00:21:59.81 she was just looking for a better life. 00:21:59.85\00:22:03.05 What God had in store for her was much more. 00:22:03.08\00:22:07.19 She found hope. 00:22:07.22\00:22:08.56 Now, Amelia wants to become a teacher 00:22:29.48\00:22:31.48 and lead other children to Christ. 00:22:31.51\00:22:33.21 Maranatha donors and volunteers will forever have a place 00:22:51.47\00:22:54.80 in the heart of the people in Angola. 00:22:54.84\00:22:59.04 Now, their desire is that other parts of the world 00:22:59.07\00:23:01.94 may also be blessed 00:23:01.98\00:23:03.68 by the construction of structures 00:23:03.71\00:23:05.38 where the gospel can be taught 00:23:05.41\00:23:07.28 and shared with young people like Amelia. 00:23:07.32\00:23:09.75 From July 19 to 28, join Maranatha 00:24:09.41\00:24:12.51 in rural New York at Union Springs Academy. 00:24:12.55\00:24:15.72 We need your help in renovating the boys' dorm. 00:24:15.75\00:24:18.39 Work will include removing old floors 00:24:18.42\00:24:20.26 and installing new flooring, replacing light fixtures, 00:24:20.29\00:24:23.09 refurbishing furniture, landscaping and more. 00:24:23.12\00:24:26.49 Everyone is welcome to join this mission experience 00:24:26.53\00:24:29.00 and in exchange for your help, 00:24:29.03\00:24:30.63 you'll receive free room and board, 00:24:30.67\00:24:32.33 just be sure to register first. 00:24:32.37\00:24:34.44 Then from October 16 to 27, 00:24:34.47\00:24:36.47 we urgently need more volunteers 00:24:36.50\00:24:38.67 for our mission trip to Bolivia, 00:24:38.71\00:24:40.41 where we'll be constructing classrooms 00:24:40.44\00:24:42.01 at the Entre Rios School. 00:24:42.04\00:24:43.81 We'll also need help with roofing 00:24:43.85\00:24:45.25 and pouring sidewalks. 00:24:45.28\00:24:46.98 Depending on the size of the volunteer team, 00:24:47.02\00:24:48.85 we may also organize outreach activities 00:24:48.88\00:24:50.95 in the surrounding community. 00:24:50.99\00:24:52.65 The Entre Rios School was once a thriving campus 00:24:52.69\00:24:54.99 with more than 400 students. 00:24:55.02\00:24:56.89 Now, competition from government schools 00:24:56.93\00:24:58.76 has caused enrollment to decline. 00:24:58.79\00:25:00.83 Updated facilities will go a long way 00:25:00.86\00:25:02.70 in drawing more students 00:25:02.73\00:25:04.07 to the Seventh-day Adventist campus. 00:25:04.10\00:25:05.63 Learn more about these projects 00:25:05.67\00:25:07.14 and others by visiting our website. 00:25:07.17\00:25:08.70 Bolivia, 00:25:32.46\00:25:35.60 Their primary challenge, churches. 00:25:35.63\00:25:38.83 There are not enough churches in Bolivia 00:25:38.87\00:25:41.10 and people are meeting in broken buildings, 00:25:41.14\00:25:43.47 people's homes and dusty sheds. 00:25:43.51\00:25:45.91 Starting in 2018, 00:25:49.21\00:25:50.78 we'll be taking the mission of Maranatha 00:25:50.81\00:25:52.81 to every part of Bolivia. 00:25:52.85\00:25:54.62 Join the movement, make a donation 00:25:57.99\00:26:00.09 or volunteer on an upcoming project. 00:26:00.12\00:26:02.39 Maranatha Mission trips make a broad impact 00:26:25.81\00:26:28.12 on everyone involved. 00:26:28.15\00:26:29.48 From the volunteer taking the leap of faith, 00:26:35.72\00:26:40.76 to the recipient of a brand new building, 00:26:40.80\00:26:45.70 to the donor who makes it all possible. 00:26:45.73\00:26:47.87 Change overflows and blesses many lives. 00:26:51.24\00:26:54.61 For the young people affected by missions, 00:26:58.18\00:27:00.15 the impact occurs at a pivotal time. 00:27:00.18\00:27:03.28 A revelation of faith or a solid education can alter 00:27:03.32\00:27:06.52 the course of their lives in significant ways. 00:27:06.55\00:27:09.02 For Makayla, Noah and others, 00:27:18.03\00:27:20.17 Ultimate Workout revealed the courage, strength, 00:27:20.20\00:27:22.87 and grace found in community. 00:27:22.90\00:27:24.87 For Amelia, a classroom created a second chance of life. 00:27:30.51\00:27:34.25 For all, the mission's experience 00:27:40.66\00:27:43.02 leaves them changed. 00:27:43.06\00:27:44.56
